Summary
Tony missed her so much on days like this... But she has been gone for almost 5 years now and he has no faith left, she will ever return.
His life changed completely ever since that cave in Afghanistan... He became Iron Man. He joined a group (the Avengers) to take out a evil alien god who wanted to rule earth and invited that group to live with him in his Tower. Only to have that same evil alien god move in with them a month later, after finding out he was controlled and tortured by a more evil alien. After that things got even more crazy as Steve's presumed dead best friend, turned out to be alive and the most lethal assassin in the last 70 years. Tortured and brain washed by Hydra. After almost killing Steve, he went into hiding. They found him again in Bucharest and brought him in. It was the reformed alien god that healed his mind with magic. After a lot of red of tape and a bulk load of legal matters, here they are... All eight of them in the common room of the tower...
So yeah... a lot changed since that cave. But the biggest change was that she was gone...
