Gloria shakes her head. “Your car didn’t have an engine—”
“Your headlights were painted on,” Sasha says, making a face.
“You didn’t have traffic rules and the right of way was based on whose nails were the sparkliest—”
“Your car was powered by wishing.”
“Fine, you made your point,” Barbie grumbles uncharacteristically. She crosses her arms and looks out the window. “I guess driving is a little different here.”Gloria teaches Barbie how to drive. Sucks that the irrepressible thoughts of death are at it again.
