Marco found it hard to adjust with losing an arm, sure he could just whip up a new one with magic, but there are two reasons as to why he's against doing that.

1. Magic was what got his original one severed to begin with.

2. Even if he could conjure one, he doesn't have the training to do so flawlessly. He'd rather have a practical arm than a magically conjured one.

Someone knocked on the door to Marco's room, it was the former prince of the underworld, Tom Lucitor, Hey Marco, everything alright, he asked.

No dude, everything isn't alright, I'm having a hard time to adjust to this, Marco replied while gesturing his face to the lack of a right arm.

It was my good hand, writing and grabbing stuff has been alot harder, heck I can't cook how I used to, I wanted to make Star's favorites foods for her when she comes by later today, Marco said with a sad frown on his face.

Tom consoled his best friend, Look, I know it must be hard to adjust to this and you want to still do the same things you could before, and I wanted to give you this, Tom replied while giving Marco a long wrapped gift.

Tom lifts up the lid to reveal a metal arm, basic in all areas, but it does the job a biological arm would. Tom, I don't know what to say, Thank you, Marco said.

Oh it wasn't just me, sure I forged it, but it was Star's idea, and don't tell her this, but it was meant to be for later today, but it seemed as though you needed it now, Tom replied.

Oh okay thanks, but you owe Star one after doing this, appreciate the gesture though, Marco replied.

So, you want to try it on now, Tom asked.

Sure, Marco replied.

Meanwhile at the Monster Temple....

No, not this

Hm, too tacky

Too Formal

Gah, Why is it hard to decide on something to wear for a date, Star said.

Knock, knock, can I come in? Moon replied.

Uh, yeah, come in, come in, Star replied.

Everything alright Star, Moon asked.

Uh no, I can't think of something to wear for my date and I want it to be perfect Mom, this is the first time with Marco without any interruptions, hopefully, Star replied.

Why not magically conjure one up, you used to do that before so often, Moon asked.

Mom, if I want to change things, part of that is to not cut corners, I'd rather prefer to do it the old fashioned way, I'd only use it if it were necessary, like if I were running late for something, Star replied.

Okay, how about Ponyhead, Moon said.

Uh, her fashion sense is something to say the least, especially for dates, Star replied.

But, I was thinking, what would your advice be Mom, Star asked.

Your asking me for dating advice? A surprised Moon replied.

Um, sorta, like how did you and Dad get together, Star asked.

Oh, it was at a time of chaos, it was also happened in the same explanation I gave about my History with Toffee to you. After Toffee killed my Mother, and before I confronted him, I was alone, with my thoughts, No Mother and so much responsibilities, and there was a small glimmer of hope, your Father, Moon replied.

How exactly, Star asked.

Well, your Father had his own way, a Chicken Drumstick with the word "Sorry" engraved on it, I think he called it an Apology Meat, anyways, he was trying to console me on my mourning, it didn't fix it, but it did get me out of that funk and help confront the problem that was Toffee, and long story short everything worked out, at that point, your father helped me through a tough time, and I knew then and there and with some time to really know each other, that he was the one for me, Moon replied.

And how does this help exactly, Star asked.

The Moral of the story is be yourself, don't change what made you, you for someone else, and I think Marco knows this, he wouldn't want to you to change yourself, Moon said.

Yeah, so just still be like how we were before, but after recent events, things feel uncomfortable for me, will thing revert to normal, Star asked.

Star, I think you know the answer to that, Moon said.

Yeah, maybe so, but I still need to figure out something to wear tonight, Star said to herself.

I might be able to help with that, Moon offered.

(Cue Montage of Star trying various outfits, courtesy of Moon)

Too formal (Star's Series Premiere Blue Dress)

Too Pink (Star's Blood Moon Ball Dress)

Brings up a bad/cringey memory (Star's Song Day Dress)

Seriously Mom!! was the hair necessary (Star wearing Moon's formal queen attire, hair included)

I'm not going into battle, it's a date (Star's Battle Armor)

Okay, last one, Moon said.

Star took a look at it, Perfect, Star said.

You sure, this is just one of your everyday outfits, Moon said.

I'm sure, Star said.

You better get going, don't want to be late, don't you, Moon replied.

Yeah, I better get going, and thanks Mom, for the advice, it helped, also the outfit as well, Star replied.

Star left for the Diaz residence

For context, the outfit Star wore for that date was the one in the image below (forgot the exact name of the dress)

Back at The Diaz Residence, Marco was prepping the various Dishes of Star's favourite foods, from Sugarritos, Super Awesome Nachos, Rainbow Cake, and much more, Tom also decided to help Marco, just to make sure the Arm was working properly

Back at The Diaz Residence, Marco was prepping the various Dishes of Star's favourite foods, from Sugarritos, Super Awesome Nachos, Rainbow Cake, and much more, Tom also decided to help Marco, just to make sure the Arm was working properly. Surprisingly Marco was a natural, no need to relearn the basics, it was as though his arm never left him.

*Door Bell rings*

Oh, I'll get that, Marco said.

Marco opens the Door to see Star present there.

Hey Marco, is everything ready for our date, Star asked.

Uh, almost, Tom and I are just finalizing everything, Marco said, while accidently revealing the robotic arm.

Wait is that the......Tom!! Star shouted.

You were supposed to keep that hidden til I said so, Star asked.

Well, it seemed Marco needed it now, and besides he wouldn't have been able to make all this for you, Tom said as he and Marco reveal the food to Star.

OMG, OMG!! Sorry for shouting at you Tom, Star said.

No worries, and besides this mean I owe you one, Marco insisted I should, Tom replied.

Aww thanks, also do you want to stick around, maybe I'll invite Janna here aswell, Star offered.

Ah, we don't want to intrude what you two have, and besides we have our own thing going on as well, Tom said.

And soon enough Tom left to do his thing with Janna, what is exactly, we'll never know, maybe?

But now Star and Marco can start their date, what is it exactly you might as? Well it's just binge  watching their favourite shows (didn't expect that, didn't you) but they like it and wanted to spend time doing that with one another, so let their binge watch begin.

Author's Note: This is going to be a set of various one shots/short stories that will occupy various gaps in time from The Butterfly Dynasty, Luzan's Requiem and Renegades Assemble and maybe more.

Instances of valid story placement for this "Anthology" of sorts can be moments within the WaD Timeskip in TOH, The 3 year timeskip in The Butterfly Dynasty or even gaps like the 10 year Timeskip in Amphibia or Post Gravity Falls up until Renegades Assemble.

Also, For Future point of reference, I'll label each Dimension based off the Star vs system of Dimension designation (like how the Neverzone was labeled as X-103). This does include other worlds from other shows like TOH, GF and Amphibia, so the dimension designation for those respective worlds will be as follow:

Earth/Human Realm: X-150612 (this applies to Gravity Falls, Los Angeles, Gravesfield and any Earth based Location)

Amphibia: X-170619

Demon Realm/Boiling Isles: X-100120

Also, you can request story ideas for one shots for Gravity Falls, Star Vs, Amphibia or The Owl House, only rule is that it abides the canon of the show itself and the two fanfics (as of now) that are set in the saga.

Chapter 2: Sisterly Bond (TOH)

Luz.........

Luz.........

LUZ!!!!!!!

What, what, I'm up, I'm up, Luz said.

C'mon, you should get ready, Vee said.

Ready for what? Luz said while in a sleepy state.

For School silly, Vee replied.

Arghhhh, Luz moaned to herself.

C'mon Luz, its school, why are you complaining anyways, Vee asked.

It's complicated, I never got the chance to really tell that first day, you remember how you said to me I had it good with my life, with my mom and all, Luz said.

Uh, yeah, I recall, Vee replied.

Well, it wasn't all good for me, sure you were right about My mom, that is the only good thing in my life before the Isles, Luz said.

But, how come you didn't say this to me sooner, Vee asked.

You were a priority , I can't just drop helping you to monologue my backstory while you were looking for something to keep up appearances, Luz said.

Well, can't reason with that, but you maybe overreacting a bit, Vee said.

Well its your first day attending Gravesfield High, so maybe you'll see what I mean, and just a heads up, since your my adopted sister, people maybe put off by you just by the fact that your associated with me, Luz said.

You can't be serious Luz, so outside of Amity, Willow, Gus and Hunter, you don't have any other friends?  Vee said.

Correct, I thought I told you this, Luz said.

Nope, I guess with helping your friends settle in the human realm while you guys were stuck here plus focusing on find a way back to The Demon Realm, I guess you never told me about this, Vee said.

Oh, I guess I did, Luz said.

The Bus nearly approaches the Noceda Residence, Luz, Vee the bus is nearly here, you both ready, Camila said.

Just about, Luz said.

Okay, you both have a great day, look out for one another, and Luz.....Camila said.

Yes Mama, Luz said.

Keep Vee safe, Camila said.

I will Mami, Luz said as she waves goodbye to her mother.

Luz and Vee get on the School Bus, they sit in the back, since they both like it there. Vee you remember your cover story if your asked about where you came from, Luz asked.

Yeah, orphan with no family, until you and Camila brought me in and accepted me as my own, eventually Camila was able to get the documents to make it official, Vee said.

Yeah, that'll do it, maybe add in some dramatic flare like you were brought up by some mafia, but fled, and are specially trained in many forms of martial arts, Luz said.

Uh, a little much, just keep it to the original, Vee said.

Yeah sure, I guess, Luz said.

Well, well, well, if it isn't the weirdo, A Girl Luz's age said.

Ugh, Juliet, what do you want this time, Luz groaned.

Oh, nothing, you weren't at school these last few days, we thought you died, Juliet replied.

Why would you think that, Luz said.

Um, hello, your whole outburst in History Class near Halloween, Juliet answered.

Oh, right, forgot about that, Luz said.

Outburst? Vee asked.

Not now Vee, maybe later, Luz said.

Wow, you really have a screw loose, Nerd-ceda, Juliet said.

HEY, Don't talk about my sister like that, Vee stepped in.

Sister? Now this is interesting, care to explain, Luzer, Juliet asked.

Ugh, fine, well Vee is adopted, orphaned with no family, until myself and my Mom brought her in and accepted her as our own, eventually my Mom was able to get the documents to make it official, Luz said.

Interesting, but is your "sister" anything like you, Juliet asked.

Well, maybe ask me then instead of bullying my sister about it, Vee shouted.

Wow, new kid standing up to the outcast, this is interesting, defend her, consider yourself an outcast aswell, Juliet said.

And who made you decide how the social hierarchy works like that, Vee said.

It's always been like that, and nothing will change that, people like Luz are the bottom rung of that hierarchy, that'll never change, unless you want to join her that is, Juliet threatened Vee.

Well, it beats hanging around spoiled, privileged brats like you, so I'd rather take my chances, Vee said.

Spoiled!!! Well I guess you made your choice, good luck making friends, your gonna need it, Juliet said as she went back to her seat.

Vee, you didn't have to do that, and now you've screwed yourself in the social department, Luz said.

Eh, don't worry about me, if it was to protect my sister, then its worth the sacrifice, Vee said.

Aww, bring it in, Luz said to Vee.

Luz gave Vee a noggin, Hey what was that for, Vee asked.

You know the sibling experience isn't all sunshine, there's the occasional harmless teasing, here and there, Luz said.

Oh, this going to be fun, Vee said.

Aye, why did I say that, Luz said.

The School Bus soon arrives at Gravesfield High, everyone got off, Luz and Vee were the last two to get out, and were suddenly met with stares from every student outside, Luz and Vee slowly walked by, making no contact, well Luz at least, Vee gestured and did small talk, to ease the tension.

Luz and Vee got to the entrance, where Vee asks Luz the elephant in the room. Luz, what did Juliet mean by outburst, Vee asked.

Oh, its nothing, you shouldn't worry about me, Luz said.

Luz, if we're going to be sisters attending High School, you and I have to be honest with one another, okay, Vee asked.

Alright then, I'll talk, but not here, in the girls toilets Luz said.

Luz and Vee made their way into the toilets, they made sure no was in here, it was all clear. *sighs* where do I begin, it was a outburst, but more like me wanting to end it all, take myself out from the equation, after accidently helping Belos meet the collector, trapping my friends here, away from their families, with no possible way back, it took a toll on me, and even though you, Mama and my friends were there for me, that guilt never left me, the more I helped other in the Isles, the worse it was for them, Luz said nearly tearing up.

Luz, don't say all that, it wasn't your fault, you remember what Hunter said during Halloween, if it wasn't you someone else would have fallen for his lies, and you should know that now, Vee said.

I know, I know, it just even now, after everything, even though the Isles is at peace now, I still feel guilty for those events even happening, Luz said.

Maybe you need therapy, Vee suggested.

Therapy? Luz asked in shock.

Well not Human Realm Therapy, cause if you just blurt out what you said to me, they'll send you away, Vee said.

I know, I know, it's just I never thought I'd need it, but if it leads to me healing and making peace with my past, then it might be worth doing, Luz admitted.

Well, its good that you want to make peace, maybe I should aswell, even though Emperor Belos is actually dead, I'm still nervous of visiting The Boiling Isles, Vee also admitted.

Yeah, maybe we ask Eda about therapist in the Demon Realm, wait, does The Demon Realm have therapists? Luz curiously asked herself.

Yeah, I'm certain they do, maybe, Vee said with some uncertainty.

Suddenly the School bell rings. Oh shoot, we better head to class, don't want to be late on your first say here, Luz said to Vee.

Heh, yeah, we better get going now, Vee replied.

Luz and Vee exit the toilets and walk through the hallway to their homeroom. While High School was really tough on Luz before her life changing for the better, it will be even tougher now, but thankfully her newly and officially adopted Sister is by her side now, together they'll face High School and all that it throws in their way.

Today a Sisterly bond was born, but Luz and Vee still have alot to go through, but they have each other, what hijinks and adventures will the Noceda sisters endure, only time will tell.

Chapter 3: Star and Marco's Excellent Christmas Adventure (SVTFOE)

Summary:

Star and Marco experience their most unexpected adventure yet with an all but too familiar, and well known figure with a knack for toys.

Chapter Text

Dimension:  X-190519
Location:  Butterfly Residence, Lumina Valley.
Time:  December 23rd - December 25th, 2017

T'was a snowy night down in little 'ol Lumina Valley, for it was a special milestone for most of this dimensions' residence.

Christmas time has graced the lands, with it quirky traditions from caroling to watching tons of Christmas movies with similar if not the same structure, but to the humans of this fair land, all was normal for them, but to our other native residences, all was confusing and curious to them cause for centuries they celebrated with corn, corn and more corn, and to worship a stump of all things.

But with huge changes, maybe it was time to let go of the past and embrace new traditions. But for one Star Butterfly, things would play out in the most Star way possible. For tonight, a traveler come hurling from the stars, someone who is well known by many names and has existed in myths and legends.

A little more to the right Star, Marco said.

Is here fine? Star asked.

Yeah, that's perfect, Marco replied.

Star flies down in her Butterfly form and reverts back to normal. So Christmas, tell me again what this holiday has that makes it far better than Stump Day, Star asked.

Well it has cheesy Christmas movies any Mother will love regardless, festive treats, gifts for everyone, and best part is you wouldn't have to sacrifice your Birthday anymore for the Stump, meaning you can truly celebrate it the way it was meant to be, Marco pointed out.

Huh, never thought of actually celebrating my birthday on the day I was born, usually my parents would do it a few days after Stump Day, Star said.

Oh yeah, but now you don't have to worry anymore, and besides you'll like the Christmas cookies my parents made, Marco said.

COOKIES!! Star said excitingly.

Yes Star, cookies and so much more you'll like, Marco said.

Hey, one question? How come we didn't celebrate Christmas last year? Star asked.

Oh, it was too much for Mewni to experience back then, and we were in the process of readjusting to, all this, Marco gestures with his hand to the Cleaved world.

Oh right, I guess things were chaotic back then, but I do feel bad for the humans not being able to celebrate, Star said with a sense of guilt.

Don't worry, they still celebrated it, but we all agreed to keep it in house and off book, and besides we had your Sweet 16th, so there was a celebration at least, Marco pointed out.

Aw Yeah, but still it would've been nicer to celebrate this Christmas last year, Star admitted.

Yeah, well we focus on the now, Marco pointed out.

Speaking of now, have you learnt more defensive positions on blockading spells, Star asked.

Well you know I was busy with Christmas prep and all, Marco sheepishly said.

You know I'm not just your Best Friend and Girlfriend, I'm also your teacher, and this teacher says we spend time now sharpening your magic skills, Star suggested.

Alright, as you wish, Sensei Star, Marco teased.

Hahaha, don't call me Sensei, I feel old when you call me that, Star admitted.

But you are, Marco said.

I'm going to be 17 in 2 days Diaz, Star said.

Fair enough, Marco replied back.

Cuts to Star training Marco in a empty field.

So, anything you asked for Christmas Marco, Star asked curiously.

Eh not really, I mean I know Santa isn't real, and besides I've already got the best gift I could ever want.....you Star, Marco replied back.

Aww Marco, you and your cheesy compliments, Star blushed.

But wait Santa not real, then what is the point of Christmas then, Star asked.

Star, there is more to Christmas, with the most common answer being your with your loved ones celebrating together, and Santa is a figure that can embody that happiness and joy for all the children.

Santa exists solely as a something young kids can look forward to each year, give them a sense of hope that their actions do have consequences, and can be paid with the thing they desire most or is punished with coal, Marco answered.

Oh, that's sad to hear, but c'mon Marco after everything you've experienced, you haven't once reconsidered that maybe he does truly exist, Star asked.

Well the though has occurred, but with everything that has went on these last 3 years, I never had the time to ponder, I mean if that were ever to be true then that would also mean Witches exist, Marco said.

Marco, how did you get witches come from Santa?

No, there wasn't a direct correlation, I just figured if someone mythical like Santa could hypothetically exist then maybe Witches could also, it was a random thought Star, Marco answered.

Oh gotcha, anyway we should focus on your stun blasts, even though I'm somehow a natural with this familiar yet vastly different power set, you aren't exactly trained to control such power.....yet, I mean I did hope you would limit yourself to parlor tricks, but I guess your uncontrolled power set does differ to mine, maybe it is varied based on the wielders personality, just a theory though, Star asked.

Okay, can we get started, the sooner I train myself, the more eager I am to try all this out, Marco said in excitement.

Woah, easy there Diaz, this isn't something you play with, this has to be used responsibly, Star lectured.

Marco gave an eyebrow raise, her words were so ironic, coming from the same girl who set her kingdom on fire not too long after she got her family wand.

Yeah, I hated myself now, I'm turning into my mom, but she does have a point, Star admits with resistance.

Star then assists Marco with his stun blasts, all seemed well til Star let Marco do it on his own, he seemed to have the hang of it, but he seems to have upped his power and now he can't control it properly, his robot arm falls off now making it harder to control.

Star, a little help here!! Marco shouted for help.

Okay, calm down, just think soothing thoughts and it will slowly fade away, Star advised Marco.

As Marco attempted this, his blast does hit something high in the sky before he is able to stop.

It stopped, thankfully, no one was hurt nor was anything damaged, Marco stated.

Yeah, why do you think I chose an empty field, Star proclaimed.

As Star's words settled in, something crashed landed not too far from where Star and Marco were.

Star and Marco run towards the site to investigate the scene.

Please tell me I didn't kill anyone Marco panicked.

Marco, calm down, you didn't kill anyone, maybe it's some rusted Solarian armor, although I wouldn't know why it would hurl down to the ground, we disposed of every piece from "the coup" after the new year, Star explained.

They arrive and see nothing our of the ordinary, but in the smoke from impact, they did see a figure getting up, Star and Marco ready their defense positions.

Although as the figure slowly became more of a silhouette, Marco did find something about this figure "familiar and jolly".

Marco slowly lowered his guard. As the smoke clears, more is revealed, it was a.....sleigh with, as Marco counts.....8 reindeer.

A sleigh, Reindeers, a silhouette that resembles who I think it is, no but, no, that's impossible, can it? Marco further questioned.

Well anything is possible if you put in enough effort, A mysterious unidentified voice said.

Wait, no way, but Marco, you said he wasn't real, Star asked.

Well, I guess I can admit defeat here, Santa Claus is very much, real, and standing in front of us, Marco answered back.

Ho ho ho indeed Marco, Star, nice to meet the two of you, Santa replied.

Star immediately went in for the hug, after what Marco and Janna told her about Santa and how jolly of a man he is, Star felt inclined to "give compliments" to someone who's purpose is to bring joy to children.

Aww, I guess I'll allow it, Santa complied.

So Santa what are you doing here, before Christmas Eve, you seem to a day early to be doing your duties, Marco asked.

You tell me, you did shoot my sleigh down, Santa argued.

Hehe, really sorry for that, was just learning to master my newfound powers, Marco replied.

Ahh, Water under the bridge, it's okay, truly, in all my life, you Marco, your one of the nicest kids I've delivered presents to, I can understand accidentally shooting my sleigh down and breaking my leg isn't something you would do willingly, Santa replied.

Oh okay, if that fine with you......WAIT YOUR LEG IS BROKEN, Marco panicked.

Marco started to panic and frantically pace around.

Santa turned to Star, Has he always been like this, last I recall he wasn't well....this, Santa replied as he gestures his hands to how Marco is acting now.

Uh, no, he has acted like this since we've started being best friends, but he eventually calms down and becomes his rational self again, Star said with guarantee.

Oh, also, as Marco mentioned earlier, what are you doing here before Christmas Eve, Star asked.

Actually, I can explain, as you know I deliver to all the children of Earth, I always have for eons, but then over a year ago, you two had your worlds merged into one, and in the process it severed the quite town of Echo Creek from Earth, this ended up causing some chaos, but I was able use my Santa magic, and don't worry Star when you "destroyed magic", it only applied specifically to the magic your family used, so other magics like mine were not affected in the slightest, Santa assured Star.

Oh, that's a relief, Star said.

*Sidenote, Star already discovered and has proven that when she "destroyed the magic" it only applied to the magic she and her family used for decades, so Star was already relieved since she knew beforehand, Star would live with so much sorrow and regret and pain if this wasn't the case, and would sacrifice all she has to ensure this is never the case.*

Wait so, you were out delivering presents....a day early, Marco said as he regains his emotions.

Precisely, my dear boy, and it seems I may need the two of you to help me, Santa offered.

You, Santa Claus, needs our help? Star asked.

Yes, and it seems we need to make a move, we'll stop at my workshop, from there I'll debrief you further on what I need your help with, Santa clarified.

But I also need your help with getting my sleigh and reindeer there also, think you two have the strength to do so? Santa asks.

UH, we'll try, I mean its the least we can do for accidently damaging it, Marco said.

You mean "you" Marco, I had no involvement whatsoever, Star states.

Well, weren't you my teacher when all this happened, meaning.....Marco states back.

Alright fine, it's "we" then, Star says in defeat.

You could say we're mess up twins, remember Star, Marco teased.

Touché, Diaz, Touché, Star replied back.

.

.

.

.

Geez, who knew Santa's sleigh would be heavier than I imagined, Star says to Marco.

Ha, you should try carrying 8 fully grown adult reindeer on your back, Marco says, one upping Star.

Easy now you two, this isn't a competition, although you try and carry a sack filled with 2 billion presents, Santa replied back while on the sleigh.

So where exactly in the north pole is your workshop? Star asked Santa.

North Pole? If your referring to the one on Earth you've been mistaken, Santa said.

What do you mean Santa, all the tales about you states you live at the north pole, Marco clarifies.

Well, the tales you speak of were only half right, I do live at the North Pole, just not the one on Earth, Santa answers.

Huh?? Star and Marco uttered.

Well it might be better to show you, Santa admits.

Santa, using his magic opens up a portal that consists of a snowy village on the other side, Santa, Star and Marco all enter through.

Where are we, Marco asked.

Well, Santa's Village, interesting fact Marco, most of the Christmas traditions Earth knows were seeded by me and some of my elves centuries ago.

Okay, but where exactly? Marco said as he grew more curious.

Well I can't reveal too much, but its on what you Humans refer to as Neptune, but to get here only I possess and no can enter without me, Santa answers.

So Santa, has anyone else ever discovered your existence, Star asked.

Not really, and if that ever is the case, well I have my ways, Santa replies while holding a small bag in his hand.

Oh. I'm guessing after all this, Marco and I will forget all about this, Star assumes.

Yeah, afraid so, I can't risk anyone knowing, even you two, if anyone were able to figure out how I can make the gifts children of earth ask for and be able to deliver all of them in one night, well that power in the wrong hand would cause trouble, Star, you of all people should know this , Santa pointed out.

Yeah, I hear ya, I can relate, and even though I wanted to be free of the burden of magic, the universe had a reason to gift it back to me, I don't know what exactly, but if I don't become the same people my ancestors were, then I should feel safe, but each day I do fear such a day could come, Star unloads.

Don't worry Star, if you do ever stray from your oath, I'm still here, to guide you back, Marco answers.

Thanks Marco, I can always count on you, Star replies.

Santa smiles at them, he knows, their parents know, friends, heck anyone Star and Marco have ever met, all know. What Star and Marco have is something truly special that only they know, and even they don't know the full extent of this.

We're here, Santa replied.

Star and Marco drop off the sleigh and reindeers by some elves ready to take them away for repairs and healing respectively.

Santa got up normally and instantly healed his leg, and walked through the workshop, as if nothing ever happened.

Star and Marco didn't question what just happened, I mean after numerous adventures, battles and encounters, they don't question anything unusual anymore, cause to the both of them, unusual is the norm for them.

Santa leads Star and Marco into a room, from the looks of it, it seemed to be Santa's personal office, where he checks his list, and checks its twice might I add. But it seemed a bit modern, mainly with the interactive roundtable that tracks Santa's whereabouts all over Earth and other stats like presents and coal indicators, and so much more.

So, now that you brought us here, what seems to be the problem, Star asked.

Well, for all my time as Santa, I've always had one place, and only one, Earth, don't get me wrong, I enjoy delivering  presents to the children of Earth, but only having one planet to spread joy to does get boring after many centuries. So I decided to look for the one being who could assist me on spreading joy to more worlds, or dimensions as you two refer to them, Santa answers.

Anyways, the person I was looking for had eons of experience of multiple worlds over his lifetime, he was a bit small and blue, and was very fond of pudding for some reason? Santa replied.

Wait, hold on, you mean Glossaryck, you know.....he knows, *sighs* Why am I not surprised by this, he is always like this, Star said.

Ah yes, Glossaryck, so you know of him, mind asking him for help, Santa asked.

Uh, well, he is alive, but contacting him is something neither Marco or myself have fully mastered, he seems to be "in the beyond", Star said as she air quotes.

Oh, that's a setback, but I suppose it could be to do with the CAOTM, Santa said, while whispering the last part.

What was that last part, Star and Marco asked.

Oh, nothing, just rethinking my plan......say, you two have traversed the universe, how much experience in other worldly culture do you both possess? Santa asked.

Star and Marco looked at one another, they know where this is headed, We know enough. So, how much do you want to know, Marco asked.

Everything, Santa replies.

.

.

.

.

.

.

One in-depth info drop later.....

And that's about everything you need to know, Star clarifies.

Huh, that's quite the culture these worlds have, but there is one issue, my magic only allows portal travel to Earth, and I guess more recently, Lumina Valley, since half your world is comprised of a fragment of Earth, but aside from that, I can't remotely access other worlds, Santa stated.

Maybe we could help you with that, we don't usually do this in fear of this power falling into the wrong hands, but you are someone who's sole purpose is to bring joy to children, so hopefully our decision doesn't backfire for you are the first person we entrust this to since the rebirth, Star said.

Star concentrates herself and focuses on crafting and forging a pair of Dimensional Scissors, it took some time to personalize the pair so that it would be distinct and unique and soon enough the pair materialized in the palm of her hands.

Here you go, Santa Claus, Star offered.

Huh, a pair of scissors, I don't see how this helps, Santa said.

Those aren't any normal scissors, they are specifically designed to open up portal to anywhere you think of within the known Universe, Marco.

Well then, maybe Christmas this year won't be a one planet holiday, Santa said.

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

Some Time Later....

Santa was ready to depart, present were filled to the brim (which is impossible since Santa's Sack of gifts can hold infinity making the idea of filling the sack a literal impossibility).

So, you have what you need, so good luck with your deliveries, Marco cheerfully said.

Actually Star, Marco, with what you said about these worlds, the idea of someone like me, maybe a jarring and uncomfortable thing to some of these dimensions, maybe you can both join me on my route, Santa offered.

Marco was speechless, but Star answered on both their behalf, agreeing to Santa's offer.

Star and a stunned and speechless Marco hop on board Santa's sleigh and Santa takes off to the skies with his sleigh, which has a recently installed feature, allowing him to traverse all habitable dimensions in the universe.

He makes his way to a dimension full of greenery and amphibious intelligent beings, the feature installed was set to random, so the surroundings were at chance, and despite Star and Marco having traversed many dimensions in their early days, they haven't been to all of them, so some of these worlds were just as new to Star and Marco.

This did complicate things quite a bit, but they came this far, so they continued forth. Santa decided to take this one solo, he arrives near the outskirts of a small quaint town, the archway leading into the town reads "Welcome to Wartwood".

Santa continues through, everyone was asleep, and by each door, he drops a present or two, tip toeing away to avoid suspicion, he continues through til he covers every house in this village, but as he preps to leave, he comes across a statue situated in the town center, it was weathered, but it seemed to show a girl, a human girl, wielding a sword in one hand and a music box of sorts in the other hand.

But he also saw a pink frog sleeping on top of the statue, guess this statue means alot to the people of this village, especially this frog. Santa leaves a gift by the nameplate of the statue and makes his way back to his sleigh.

Santa flies off, with Star and Marco. The wind blows away the foliage covering said name plate revealing the following:

Anne Boonchuy

We Miss You, Girl!

This then cuts to a fast paced montage of Santa, Star and Marco going through many worlds, delivering present, some Santa did solo, some with Star, or Marco, even both.

Santa only has two worlds to go, the one that started it all, Earth and the one forged from love, Lumina Valley, but there was one problem, there may not be enough time to deliver to both worlds in time.

Star and Marco suggested they take Earth and he take Lumina Valley, but someone needed to be by the sleigh if the other two are "divide and conquering" the workload. Marco offered to stay behind, cause his magic abilities are still in need of training. Star didn't question Marco's response, nor did she plead for Marco to join her.

Star goes Butterfly Mode and flies at super sonic speeds with the sack in tow, miraculously dropping off presents by Christmas trees and eating and drinking cookies and milk left by those trees to every household (that at least celebrates Christmas) in the whole world, in like an hour, like this was uber fast, even by Santa's standards, from Los Angeles to Piedmont to Gravesfield to Orlando, Star delivered to every household on Earth in record time, and Star wasn't even trying, it just happened.

Once Star completed Earth, she handed over the sack to Santa and he portaled to the final destination for the night, but in just mere seconds he returned.

Wait, how did you do that even faster than I did, that was mere seconds!!! Star exclaimed.

I can't reveal everything, can I, Santa answered.

So, is that all worlds completed, Marco asked exhaustedly.

Yep, that's all of them, and I couldn't be more grateful, Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz. You helped with spreading wonder and joy to not just the children of Earth but Children of all types from many unique worlds, Santa replied.

And to show my gratitude, you'll remember this night as it is, only if you abide by one condition, You can't tell anyone about tonight, not your friends or family about where you've been, but don't worry, I'll handle that, Santa stated.

HUH? Really, that's very generous of you, I mean you said no one can know about your existence, but why make an exception for us, Star asked.

Well Star, you and Marco are one of a kind, I can't take that away from you, but it's also in the likelihood I need either you or Marco's assistance if the time ever come to that, Santa answered.

Thank...you, I guess, Star replied.

Star and Marco have heard the notion of them being one of a kind one too many times to the point it gets tiring and loses all meaning to them.

Star opens up a portal back home, So this is goodbye then, Star asked.

Well for the time being, but you and Marco will always know if you look to the skies, I'll be there, but anyways you should get back to your families, enjoy tomorrow, who knows, maybe you'll find something special, Santa teased.

Goodbye Santa, Marco replied.

Bye Santa, Star said.

Goodbye to you both, Santa said with a smile on his face.

Christmas Morning.....

Christmas morning arrived and the first ever Christmas for other worlds had surprising results, with those actions being the foundation for new traditions all across multiple dimensions. Joy was truly given to all those that needed it.

But back on Dimension X-190519, it was a breed of new beginnings and gool ol times for the residents here, but let's say Star and Marco's recent escapade gifted them something neither one would expect.

Everyone from Butterflies to Diazes all gathered for festivities and celebration galore, it was a first, not just for Mewmans and Monsters, but a first in establishing stronger bonds between the Butterflies and Diazes.

Everyone eagerly opened their presents. A lot was splurged on both sides, but what piqued everyone's interest was the remaining two presents under the tree.

Odd, it doesn't say who it's from, but one is for Star and the other is for Marco, Moon said.

Did you two secretly gift each other a bonus present for each other, Eclipsa teased.

We didn't actually, this is new to us, Star said.

Star and Marco went to grab their respective presents, both opened them up, and the contents were a shock to say the least, for everyone there witnessing.

A Wand? Star said in shock and curiosity.

Same here, Marco replied.

The wands weren't the same ones Star and Marco used to have, they did share some aspects, but they both felt different, in material and power, the wands were specially crafted to represent the users' personality and characteristics, like the Butterfly Wand that would adjust according to the user. Also from some basic tests, the wands were only responsive to that user, meaning if anyone ever stole it, it was useless to them.

Did everyone here pitch in and crafted these, Star asked.

Everyone shook their heads, this wasn't them, but there wasn't any harm to these mysterious gifts, so everyone continued with Christmas Day, festivities and games.

Star and Marco looked their newfound wands and wondered if this gift to them was from their newfound ally in red and white.

They didn't ponder the question, it's Christmas, so Star and Marco just embrace each other cuddling on the rooftop of the Diaz Household, looking over their friends and family, enjoying themselves.

Author's Note: I was meant to post this before Christmas, but it wouldn't be completed in time. It was a unique concept, Star and Marco meeting Santa and help him save Christmas. That's all. Nothing else to note here.

Chapter 4: Two Lives..... (TOH)

Summary:

What was Luz's High School experience like after saving The Demon Realm....?

Chapter Text

Dimension: X- 150612 (Earth)

Location: Noceda Residence, Gravesfield, Connecticut

Date: November 2016 - June 2019,  Roughly 1 Week after new Portal Door was made.

(Starts around the same time as "Sisterly Bond")

With a new portal door to The Demon Realm materialized, Luz can freely traverse both worlds, but despite the life she made in The Boiling Isles, Luz still has her other life, here in the human realm, its not something she likes to divulge about, which is ironic since she's always eager to learn about the backstory of her friends and newfound family.

Her life in Gravesfield isn't something she loves, but now in her Sophomore Year, Luz had to endure High School, and unlike Hexside, she wasn't beloved by most of the student body. But this time she wasn't alone.

Camila, Luz's mother, set some ground rules in regards to the Portal Door, like she can only visit if she's done her schoolwork on weekdays, Camila didn't pressure Luz to strive for high grades, knowing current events and past events, but still encouraged her to try at least. Once Luz graduated High School, she was free to choose to live in The Isles permanently, but to also visit her and Vee when she has the time.

Another rule was keeping this door amongst the household, no one else should know about The Demon Realm, for the safety of the Isles, and themselves, and also to prevent another Belos from happening, this was mainly for Vee, despite the difficulties of hiding who you really are, right now wasn't the best to reveal. Also, Camila discussed with Luz about buying the old abandoned cabin the portal resides in so they have control over the area.

Camila also talked about if Luz ever made human friends, she would also have to keep it a secret, but Luz insisted that wouldn't be the case, after the crap Luz had been through, Willow, Gus, Hunter and Amity were all the friends Luz ever needed. Part of Luz once yearned to have human connections, but decided to abandon that path after realizing that even after being herself, they still wouldn't accept her (this being all before Luz encounter The Isles).

Camila countered with having Vee's friends also be Luz's also, but Luz insisted that they're Vee friends and only hers, Luz didn't want to take that away from Vee, she earned that, not her, and frankly she doesn't even know them, they may know "Luz" but that was still Vee and after what happened during their "layover" after The DOU, Luz figured that loose end was already solved.

(Basically The Real Luz ghosted Cabin 7, they got pissed and cut ties with Luz, which was fine with her since she didn't know them, and this allowed Vee to reintroduce herself as, well herself, Vee Noceda to Masha and Cabin Seven)

Camila eventually caved given that the talk she had with Luz all those months ago about making friends that aren't imaginary, well, Luz did exactly that, while not human, but in fact witches, they were still real individuals that supported Luz through thick and thin.

There wasn't much else, but Luz had to not give away any hints of this, basically her mannerisms could be risky if exposed too much in front of other humans, like the slang she picked up there or foods, and even terminology, luckily Vee would be with Luz to keep and eye on her, and vice versa.

So hey, at least Luz didn't have to endure the rest of High School alone. She has Vee with her.

Staring High School after everything that happened in the last few months did make Luz anxious, with no underlying threat anymore it made Luz ask herself, now what? But Vee ensured her she'll be fine. And while Vee's words of encouragement helped a bit, it still wasn't enough.

At the same time Luz helped Vee adjust into the life a of a teenager and Vee helped Luz overcome past anxieties with unwanted figures. Luz and Vee had each other's back in high school.

School was awkward after her whole suicide rant in History Class, very sudden and out of character for Luz, Luz had forgotten about that, given that it tied into her rooted guilt on helping Belos, there was murmurs amongst the student body, and Vee wasn't there to help her (they didn't share all the same classes, Luz was on her own).

You'd expect the students and even teachers to read in-between the lines of her rant but to Luz's expectations, they dismiss it as part of her "disruptive" personality, and to make things worse, she was called into Principal Hal's office, Luz didn't know what it was this time, she didn't do any dangerous stunts as of late, she kept to herself, so what could be the reason?

Luz enters and to her surprise see's Vee there also.

What am I in here for? Luz sarcastically asks.

Not you per say, your sister got into a fight with another student, seems you were the topic of the debate, Hal replied.

Luz was surprised by this and asked Vee what had happened.

Vee, what did you do? Luz asked.

Some classmates were talking smack about you and the rant you made in a class, Vee said.

Yes, I heard about that from your History Teacher, is something wrong Ms. Noceda? Hal asked.

Luz knew she couldn't divulge the truth, it would be already adding to her tainted reputation, but she also made a promise to her Mom, so Luz had to calmly deny the rant she made.

Rant? what rant? They must be mistaken, must be me disrupting learning, Luz reluctantly said.

An eyebrow was raised from both Vee and Hal, but Hal took Luz's word for it, and given Luz's "lie" Luz got a day's worth of detention, Vee would have also received that also, but Luz negotiated with Hal given Vee's new here, only being left off with a warning.

Luz and Vee left his office walking into the now empty hallway.

Luz! You didn't have to do that for me, but why lie? Vee asked.

Vee, would he have taken my word for it if I really said the truth, Luz counters.

Fair enough, but I should've taken the punishment, why do that for me?  Vee asked.

Vee, Belos did enough to you, I don't want my sister to have Earth do the same thing to you, Luz replied.

Vee thanked Luz for that, but ensured her she would endure High school punishment over what Belos did.

A rocky start to this double life for The Noceda Sisters, but Vee adapted easily to this change of pace, Luz however, felt differently about this.

As the weeks passed by, Luz endures her usual from her peers, seemingly sealing the desire for Human connection shut. Sure some occasions, Luz had her friends, Eda and King or Vee by her side when things went south, easing some escalated situations.

This made Luz even more grateful for having such caring people who accept her for her. Luz made every moment with Eda, King, Willow, Amity, Gus and Hunter count, from harmless pranks on innocent human to somewhat harmless pranks on certain humans like Hopkins or some of Luz's human peers.

Sometimes her peers would screw Luz over, either in a group or individually, but the times they do it often is whenever Luz is with Amity, and no they don't dunk on Luz and Amity cause they're a queer couple, they maybe petty and immature, but their motives are not rooted in homophobia, they only do it for the fact that Luz is happy and has found someone, Amity being that significant other wasn't intentional, so they had morals, they would avoid Amity, as much as they could.

Going as far as to ruin dates the two planned, but they always get pissed, cause somehow, and some way, Lumity always make the best out of it, eventually they stopped targeting Luz whenever she's with Amity.

This did not make them stop entirely, whenever she was with Willow or Gus, they'd target, but like before, it didn't work out, but hey, being friends with powerful witches has it benefits.

Some examples included simple outings around Gravesfield to secluded locations (still in Gravesfield) like a forest. For hating Luz, they certainly pay alot of attention to her, their motives are still unclear, their true motives, that is.

So they went old school and targeted her alone, but now it wasn't effective, but it should be, she's alone......or was she?

Stringbean looked out for her owner, like Flapjack did for Hunter (R.I.P a true one). This continued for the remainder of Sophomore and Junior Year, but by Senior Year, they gave up, Luz wasn't fazed, it grew stale, while the physical acts faded away, they still did verbal acts of bullying.

Luz admits she still found High School tough, the acts from her peers did take a toll, but Luz was strong enough to not show it to their faces, and with her also attending therapy in The Boiling Isles, Luz found a solid compromise, with her support group in the form of her friends, Mom, Eda and King and others in the Isles.

Luckily Luz's lack of Human friends did ease her double life, no one would take notice of her, or that's what she thought. Her daily activities are talked amongst the student body, as if she was a urban legend, some gave their theories on the matter, some reluctantly siding with theories from Jacob Hopkins. Some even did practical tests to prove said theories, but I guess fate had other plans, and by fate, I mean Vee protecting her family from the worst happening.

Senior Year approached, Luz made it, after this, she can freely move to The Boiling Isles,  sure mid terms and finals are still a hurdle, but for the most part Luz doesn't worry much about it.

There was still a few physical acts like them defacing her locker, but only from the most ruthless and petty individuals, but Luz didn't mind it, she simply took some cleaning stuff from her locker and cleaned it off, no remarks, nothing, she was in too good of a mood to not see this mockery.

At this point, they stopped entirely, clearly Luz beaten the allegations, but there still was one trick up their sleeve, and it was easier said than done since Luz did this to herself.

Senior Prom, a special time in a Teenager's life, and it was apparent they didn't want Luz there, and since she disrupted the last dance she went to by wearing an otter costume to a formal event, it was easy to ban her, and Luz was definitely pissed at this, and those students made sure to rub it in her face, while yes Luz was pissed, she didn't mind for she had plans for another dance elsewhere.

Luz simply played the part they all expected, an Oscar worthy performance Amity might add. While they thought they got the upper hand on the outcast, the outcast was the winner in the end. Luz's life thus far, her best memories in a social context have all been from another world.

Mentally, Luz was on edge for what could happen, but to her surprise, nothing. For the first time in her life, she isn't getting bullied. Well direct bullying, sure she still heard people gossip crap about her, either direct or indirect, but it was better than physical confrontations that didn't have you plan escape routes.

Luz spent her final days in High School both finishing any outstanding work (aka her finals) and concoct a cover up for after that, she can't say "Hey, I'm studying magic in another world filled with witches, griffins and creepy crawlies."

Her cover up was she's studying at an out of state university via a online course under a writing scholarship, that is only when anyone actually asks her about it.......like they would, she thought to herself.

Soon enough G day arrived, aka Graduation Day Luz made it, after nearly 3 years, she made it, the final hurdle before freedom of living in The Boiling Isles, sure her High School Time has been rocky, even after restoring The Isles, but she had Vee, she had her Mom, Willow, Amity, Gus, Hunter, Eda, King, even Lilith and Hooty by her side.

Aside from her Mom attending Graduation for her daughters, what Luz didn't know was Eda, King, Lilith and her friends also attended, days before this, Luz had gotten her yearbook, she found herself highlighted for something genuinely good, which was her Writing Scholarship, but that feeling dissipated immediately when she turned to the "Most Likely" section.

The typical categories like most popular, class clown, best couple and so on, her reason for dislike was that all these spots were vote based by students, and Luz knew very well where she would be, and she was right, she was voted for something...... Most Unpopular and Most Unlikeable.

First off, why would those be selected categories to begin with and secondly, this wasn't a surprise to her, but she still felt down about, and the fact she may not have it signed is even worse. Once Vee heard word of this, she got ahold of Luz's Yearbook and had her friends sign it, but Amity had a much better idea.

The Day of Graduation arrived, Luz had mixed feelings about today, but it all went away when she saw her friends and family in the crowd. People that cared for her, on one of the most important days of her life, right there, there was one other person she'd hoped to be here, her dad.

But Luz imagines he is here, in spirit with her loved ones. Luz walked across the stage, receiving the paper that (for some reason) makes it official, she is done with High School. Luz definitely got a standing ovation from her loved ones, (what, did you expect her peers to also cheer, if you thought so, then, you must be mistaken).

Luz united with her friends and family once the main ceremony was over, congratulating her.

Mija, I'm so proud of you and Vee, Camila said.

Aww, it was nothing, just some discipline and  sisterly motivation from Vee, nothing much, Luz jokingly replies.

Just then, The Hexsquad joins in, starting with very tight group hug.

You were amazing, Amity compliments.

Sweet Potato, it was just walking up to be given a piece of paper, Luz clarifies.

Well, don't worry, you can show me how graduation is done at Hexside, Luz said.

Oh right, I almost forgot about that, Camila reminded herself.

So, you have a two for one then, Hunter pointed out.

Yeah, I guess, actually when is it? Luz asked.

Three months from now, we still have all our finals to do also, Willow said.

Right.....and why do we need to be isolated from one another? Luz asked.

Kiddo, you shouldn't worry about that now, today is all about you and your basilisk sister, Eda chimed in.

I have a name you know, Owl Lady! Vee said.

Sorry, always slips my tongue, Eda replied.

Oh right, Luz, here you go, Gus said as he gave her yearbook back.

Hey, I was wondering where this went, Luz asked.

Go on, take a look, Camila encouraged.

Luz opened it up to the blank sections, and behold hundreds of signatures, from Vee, Amity, Willow, Gus, Hunter, but what took Luz away was all the unexpected signings, from Edric, Emira, Viney, Skara, Matt, even Boscha of all people, and it didn't stop at them, Eda, King, Lilith, Hooty, Steve, Raine, Darius, Eberwolf, Alador, even The Collector, so many witches and bipeds Luz had gotten to know over the years, all had their input, it truly made Luz happy, so much so, she started tearing up, but Amity was able to control her before they started to make a scene.

Pictures were taken, one with Lumity, The Noceda Sisters, Mother and Daughters, Owl Fam, Hexsquad (Vee Included) and many more, despite the bumps in her remainder of High School, she made it through. Luz felt so relieved, to finally ditch a world where she was never accepted, and embrace one where she was.

What happens after Graduation Day? Well that's another tale to tell by the campfire.

Chapter 5: The New Continent

Summary:

Sprig embarks on a new adventure while coming to terms with recent events.

Chapter Text

Dimension: X- 170619 (Amphibia)

Location: Wartwood, Amphibia

Date: ~November 2016, 9 Months since Frogvasion

Sprig Plantar here, its been 9 months since the defeat of The Hive Mind known as The Core....and 9 months since my best friend had to return to Earth, with the Calamity Box crumbling into oblivion, once Anne and her friends entered the portal back to Earth. Amphibia went through some huge changes since then.

Frogs, Newts, and  Toads are more united than ever thanks to Anne and her friends. Andrias has been exiled for his crimes against Amphibia kind, but he seems to  enjoy  it and is willing to atone for his actions.

With Andrias exiled, the throne went to Lady Olivia, but now it seems she wants Frogs and Toad to also have equal say in the matter, with Grime  representing  all Toads and Toadie, who is now mayor, believe  it or  not represent the Frogs.

As for Polly, she found her calling in robotics, and still,  it's  weird seeing her as an actual standing frog and not the little Pollywog Hop Pop, and I have known.

Speaking of Hop- Pop, he's settled down with Sylvia and primarily plants Avocados on the farm at the  market since it  wasn't  available here, and  given  its exclusivity here,  there's  been a  crowd  for it,  it's  nice that a small part of  Earth  is here with us.

Honestly  everyday I miss Anne, and I know, I  should've  come to terms with this during Frogvasion, but Anne  and  I have been through alot in the  few  months  we've  known each other, and  I'd  do anything to see her again.

.

.

.

.

(Cut to somewhere inside the house. Sprig is seen drawing a Mossman in his journal, using Anne's phone as a reference. Scene then shows Sprig with a satisfied look).

Perfect! Sprig said while he finishes the drawing.

Sprig, come on! It's time for the unveiling ceremony! Polly said.

Finally! Can't wait to see how it turned out, Sprig said in excitement.

[cheering, applause]

AMBUSH! (tackles Sprig and takes off her hood) Guess what, Sprig? Grime just told me they discovered a new continent! Untouched by frog, newt or toad! Feel like a new adventure? Ivy asked.

(looks back at Anne's statue and smiles) I'm in! Sprig replies.

(he and Ivy run off)

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

Present Day.......

Sprig, Ivy, Maddie and Polly have set sail alongside Grime, Felicia Sundew and Frobo across the amphibious seas to a newly discovered continent.

The prospect of adventures was something they didn't know they needed, but thanks to Three Human Girls turned saviors, that all changed. This new continent could be something revolutionary for Amphibia, while everyone was talking of what could lie on this continent, Sprig was very much in his own world, looking at the vast sea that largely makes up Amphibia.

Sprig gaze into the clouds to get his mind off something but I guess mind games is all that haunts Sprig, not in the most traumatizing was that is.

Sprig's younger and now more hand on sister Polly, now very creative with revolutionary ideas to better Amphibia see her Brother daydream, and knowing her Brother, too much in her opinion, knows what Sprig is going through.

You miss her, don't you? Polly replies.

It's that obvious, isn't it, Sprig groans.

Well yeah, your not very subtle with you signs, and it's not a bad thing Sprig, Hop Pop and I miss Anne too but we have our own lives now, at some point you have to accept that we may never see her again, Polly hesitantly admits.

Don't you say that, after everything we've been through these last few months, there could be a way, maybe this place could have some way of seeing her again, Sprig says.

Look, maybe you could be right, but don't get your hopes up, We're here for adventures, it's what Anne would have wanted for us, get out of our comfort zones and for you, to get out the cellar, Polly replies.

Your right, but everywhere I go, I keep being reminded of her, and well now look at Ivy, Sprig says.

Oh right, she looks like her, Polly said to herself.

It's not like I hate it, believe me I love Ivy rocking that style, but it really hits deep of all that has happened, Sprig replies.

Well, I'm no expert in your love life, so I'll let you do all that. Anyways, I need to fine tune Frobo, who knows what dangers lurk on this new continent, Polly said.

Polly leaves Sprig to do just that. Sprig now left alone to his thoughts, maybe his Sister was right, he's been like this since Anne and her friends left. But before Sprig could process this, the boat started to rock up and down. Sprig went see what the cause was but what he saw ahead might be why the waters started to get rocky all of a sudden.

Soon enough everyone else on board took notice of the aggressive tidal waves ahead of them, and everyone on board took action to hold steady, it was too strong for any of them to keep the boat steady, and everything went dark.

.

.

.

.

.

Sprig.......

Sprig.........

SPRIG!!!! Ivy shouted.

Get up, Maddie replied.

Ugh, where are we? Sprig asked with confusion.

Honestly we don't know ourselves, last thing we remember was charting through rocky waters, and now we're here on some beachfront near a valley, stranded without Grime or my Mom, Ivy replied.

Wait where's Polly and Frobo?!? Sprig asked.

Just over there, although Polly isn't in the mood now, Maddie replied while pointing to Polly's location.

What...happened to Frobo, Sprig asked

Eh, the usual, his head got detached from his body, but Polly's pissed that she just made upgrades for him and now his body is nowhere to be seen, Ivy replied.

Well great, we're stranded, no adult help and have no clue where we're at, Sprig complained.

I dunno, maybe this is the continent Grime talked about, we only knew its existence, no one knew what it looked like though, Maddie theorized.

Fair enough, but this could be uncharted land, we don't know who or what lures here, so I suggest we trek forward til we find some resemblance of a settlement, Sprig contributed.

What about Grime or Felicia they need to know where we are at least, Maddie said.

We should leave a trail then, just in case they end up trying to find us, Sprig said.

And that's what they did, they left a trail of food crumbs as they journey along this new world. But little did they know something, or someone, was picking off the trail.

.

.

.

On the otherside of the continent, Grime and Felicia are washed ashore, with no supplies or food, although some weapons did wash up with them, so it wasn't all bad.

This is bad, no way of getting back home, the kids are lost somewhere, our supplies are gone also, what do we do Grime, Felicia panicked.

Calm down Felicia, we'll think of something, besides some weapons washed up ashore with us, so we have something defend ourselves with, Grime reassured.

Weapons? I never brought any weapons on board......*sighs* Ivy did, didn't she, of course she did, even when I told her it wasn't going to be necessary, aye, what am I going to do with that girl, Felicia groans.

You can complain to your daughter when we find her and everyone else, we should get a move on, the sooner we find them, the better, Grime commands.

*Thumping noise*

What was that? Felicia asked.

I'm not sure, but it sounds like it's coming from over there, Grime pointed.

Felicia and Grim investigate this noise and are shocked to see what the noise was. It was Frobo's body unknowingly ramming into a tree.

Huh, Frobo, or well his body at least, Felicia said.

Huh, I I though it needed a head to move around? Grime asked.

From what Polly mentioned, she's been tinkering around with him, Guess this is one of those features she's been working on, Felicia presumed.

Frobo's Body continues to ram into the tree.

Guessing it's not all the way there, Grime suspects.

Well the bumbling headless body speaks otherwise, does it not, Felicia states.

Noted.......Find the kids, Grime said.

Find the kids, Felicia replies.

Grime and Felicia scurry off while bringing Frobo's body and hurriedly track down Sprig, Polly, Maddie and Ivy ASAP.

.

.

.

.

.

Meanwhile with the kids, they venture down the valley with nothing but food, supplies, their will to live and their four shared braincells, actually all that is just Polly, I don't know about everyone else though.

Anyways, their surroundings weren't what they pictured, or was it, I mean, after enduring and partaking in a civil war against The Former King Andrias, they've seen first hand what devastation to a civilization looks like, but what they see with their eyes, this was something else, they've passed small huts and homes, either abandoned or severely destroyed.

What happened here? Sprig asked.

Well, from what Frobo can read off, this whole area dates back to about 1000 years ago, around the early days of King Aldrich, Polly explains.

So what lived here, was it Frogs, Sprig said.

Toads? Ivy chimed in.

Newts, or Olms? Maddie said.

Neither actually, it seems to be......Polly says.

Suddenly the hear rustling noises nearby.

Huh, who's there show yourself, Sprig shouts.

Everyone huddled side by side and used whatever tools they had as weapons to arm themselves.

The rustling noises continue until some figure emerges from nearby bushes, and it wasn't what any of them were expecting.

Sorry for startling the lot of you, you kids lost? the unidentified figure said.

Uh sorta, we're separated from adults who came with us, have you seen a Toad with one arm and a frog with yellow skin by any chance? Maddie asked.

No, sorry, I haven't seen anyone who fits that description, unidentified figure said.

What are you, Frog, Toad, Newt? Sprig asked.

I'm an Axolotl, the name's Axel, Axel replied.

Axolotl? Why haven't we heard anything of your kind throughout history? Polly asked.

Well, I never though we'd be able to tell this to anyone else, but it started with our ancestors around a 1000 years ago, this land was thriving, we may have been isolated from the rest of Amphibia, but we were a strong lot, us Axolotls, we hoped to visit the Frogs, Toads and Newts of Amphibia one day, but we didn't force ourselves, we just tended to our kind. But one day a ship docked by our beachfronts, The King of Amphibia himself made contact with our kind, King Aldrich wanted to establish connections with us, better resources, better food, basically better stuff for us? Axel replied.

What would Aldrich want with this place anyways for him to make contact? Sprig asked.

Well, our land was filled with what he described as precious resources, metals, stones, materials, it was filled to the brim, but there was one thing he wanted more than any of that, Axel answers.

What was it?  Ivy asked.

We also housed an ancient temple with some prophecy, it didn't matter to us, but whatever it was, it interested Aldrich very much, but we were fools to believe his lies, Axel said.

What happened? Polly asked.

Aldrich and his army harvested our resources to the point of nearly draining it from us, sources of food, and materials for housing practically gone, everything was gone, there wasn't alot left to keep us alive, and as the decades passed our numbers dwindled, Axel replied.

And your the last one left, Sprig asked.

No, but at this rate our numbers aren't looking good, Axel replied.

So, who else is with you, Ivy asked.

My wife and 3 kids, we're the only living Axolotls left in the land, Axel reveals.

So, how did you survive? Ivy asked.

We hunted around the land for anything, on land and the surrounding seas, it also why there's no wildlife here, apex or prey, Axel states.

Wow, and I'm guessing you were hunting for more food and found us, Polly said.

Yeah, I found a trail near the beach and followed it, Axel reveals.

Oh crap, that was our trail for the adults that were with us, Sprig said.

Oh sorry, I didn't know, I've still got it on me, Axel said.

No, keep, you family needs it more than we do, Sprig said.

But we need that trail, Polly called out.

Well Axel and his family need it more, and besides, Grime is a warrior, his survival skills and instincts will help him and Felicia find us, Sprig said.

Well, that's fair, let's just hope they find us soon, Polly said.

But what good is that, we're still stranded here, no boat to get us back and no knows we're stuck here, Maddie said.

Wait that's it, Polly said.

Polly kneels down and puts down Frobo's head and opens the back of it and fiddles around with the wires inside.

What are you doing with that thing, Axel asked.

I'm re wiring Frobo to send out a distress call, since he's still linked to the Frobot factories, someone in Newtopia should get the S.O.S and hopefully send out a ship for us, hopefully Yunan or Lady Olivia, Polly answers.

Wait are the Leviathans no longer on the throne? Axel asked.

Yeah, Aldrich's son, Andrias was the current monarch til he was banished to exile for his crimes against Amphibia, but don't worry the new monarch isn't what it was for your kind all those years ago, Ivy assures.

Well it's reassuring to know that, Axel replied.

Done, Polly said.

It's sent out, but it might take a day for a ship to reach us, so look like we're staying here for the night, Polly said.

And before you ask, your welcome to join us back, that is if you and your family are up for it, Sprig said.

Well, with what's left of this place, a fresh start wouldn't be too bad, Axel responded.

Well great, only problem is where we should stay for the night? Sprig asked.

Well, stay with my family until then, there's plenty of room, Axel offered.

We shouldn't, these house may not house everyone in one spot, Ivy pointed out.

Oh, we abandoned our family home long ago, we reside in the temple I mentioned before, Axel said.

Oh, then everything's sorted, lead the way Axel, Sprig asked.

After a sizable trek, everyone arrived at the Temple, it was overgrown with moss and worn out, but was firmly holding on, no signs of cracks to been seen.

Axel took the group to his family who were starving, but also lively, even in dire situations, they still maintained morale.

Honey, who are these kids? Axel's Wife asked.

Well, they are explorers from The Mainland who got stranded here, Axel revealed.

You kids must be frighten to be here by yourselves, Axel's Wife asked.

No worries Ma'am, we've been through quite alot these last few months, and it wasn't just us, some adults, a Frog and a Toad also washed up with us, we just got separated from them, Polly reveals.

I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, my name's Lily, Lily replied.

The pleasure is ours Lily, your husband informed us of your predicament, but don't worry help is on the way, Maddie replied.

Thank you for the help, living here got us so far but it's time we accept that there's nothing worth keeping us here on this Island, but without any way past the creatures gatekeeping the land, it was nearly impossible to leave, Lily replies.

Axel told us food was scarce for your family, if you want, we carried food for our journey here, but your family need its more, Ivy offered.

Bless you darling, Lily replies.

Ivy, what are you doing, Sprig whispered.

Sprig drags Ivy to another room in the temple.

Sprig, they need it more than us, and besides, we're only here til tomorrow, so you can last a day without food, Ivy said.

Okay, fair enough, Sprig said.

What?! That's it, no unnecessary conversation, straight to the point, Ivy pointed out.

That's a bad thing? Sprig asked.

No it isn't, I'm just used to you being so talkative with me, but these last few days you haven't been chatting it up with me unless its important, no funny one liners, no random obsessions, I loved that about you, but ever since.....the unveiling....of Anne's statue, Ivy realised.

Oh my frog, it's the hair, isn't it, Ivy asked.

I....Uh...Um, Well.... Sprig said while fumbling his words.

Spit it out Plantar, Ivy shouts.

Yes...it is, Sprig admits.

But it's not a bad look for you, you rock it, but I've been on edge recently, ever since....Sprig said.

Since she left, that was Nine Months ago, your still mourning her, Ivy asked.

Yeah, I've kept myself at bay for a majority of that time, but the last few days really opened up just how much I miss her, and your hair, while at first, I was okay with cause it could be like those days again, but it dawned on me just how much she really affected my life, it was cause of her that we were able to be a thing, Sprig reveals.

I wouldn't say she was fully the reason, but she did have an impact, so I'll give credit for that, Ivy admits.

She was also the first friend I've ever had who didn't seemed completely grossed out with my interests, Sprig reveals.

Well because of her, you have me and Maddie as friends now, you want things to be the way you felt comfortable with, but you'll have to accept change, you accepted it when Anne and her friends first came to Amphibia, you can also accept  change now, Anne maybe gone, but you have whole new friend group who cares for you, Ivy points out.

As Sprig was about to respond to Ivy's reply, he heard a cracking noise, Hey do you hear that? Sprig asked Ivy.

Suddenly, without notice, the ground below breaks, Sprig and Ivy fall down into what seemed to be a worn out room below the one they were standing in.

Once they got their bearing and helped each other get up, they observed the area. It was solid, but whatever was on the walls was highly unreadable, either from excessive moss growth or whatever was used to detail them was wearing out, rending it hard to read.

Although from what they saw there was something that caught both their eyes, it seemed to be part of something else, but the wall it was on was blank, outside of the piece they see, its surroundings to the left was blank, like they can visibly see something faint drawn on, but whatever else it was meant to connect to, was blank.

What do you think this is? Ivy asked.

I can't tell for sure, but whatever this room is, it's the kind of thing we were looking for, Sprig said.

Silence filled the air until Sprig spoke out.

Hey, I should've been more open with you Ivy, Sprig said.

I was an idiot to not say anything, and your right, Anne is gone, I have to move on from her, I have you, Maddie, Polly and Frobo, I should've come to my senses sooner to appreciate what I have now, rather than what I had before, Sprig realises.

Woah, Philosopher Sprig alert, me like, Ivy teases.

Ha, ha, yeah, Sprig replies.

Hey, with no one around, should we....uh, you know, Ivy teased.

Why not, Sprig said.

As they both went in for a smooch, they were rudely interrupted.

Geez, get a room you two, Polly teases.

Damnit Polly, why now of all times, Ivy calls out.

Well, do you dingleberries want out or should I let you two continue your smooch session, Polly teases.

With the moment spoiled, they went with being lifted up, oh well, there will always be other times.......hopefully.

.

.

.

.

.

.

It was night time now, Sprig, Polly, Maddie, Axel and his Family were sitting around a campfire, with cooked food and tales to tell.

So wait, these "humans" you talk so much about ended up in Amphibia? Axel asked.

Yeah, Three of them to be precise, as it so turned out, it was fate for them to come and vanquish the evil that had plagued Amphibia for ages, Maddie replied.

So what were they like? Lily asked.

Well, some of us personally knew one of them, she went by Anne, quirky girl ,who was at first a outcast in our town, but because of her, we grew to accept her and ourselves, heck if it wasn't for her, we wouldn't even be here, with you guys, Ivy points out.

Yeah, it was only after having Frogs, Newts and Toads formally co-exist again after 1000 years of divided isolation we committed to uncover the secrets kept way from us, Polly said.

Wow, the world around had had quite the shake up, only wished more of our kind were still around, maybe things would've been different, Axel replies.

Well, now you and your family can live a normal life now on the mainland, and don't worry, everyone is friendly now, Sprig reassures.

Well all that's left is.....Axel said.

Everyone goes quiet and hears rustling noises outside, Sprig and Ivy both exit and arm themselves for whatever comes their way.

Faint noises are in ear shot.

Hey Ivy, do you hear...screaming? Sprig asked.

Yeah....and it's getting louder, Ivy panics.

It did infact, get louder, and more recognizable. What Sprig and Ivy didn't expect was Grime and Felicia charging through using Frobo's Body as a shield.

Sadly, their charge ended in a wall crash. Not the beat way to introduce yourselves to a newly discovered or wiped from history species.

Ugh, where are we? Grime asked.

Ancient temple, and you? Sprig replied.

Some other time, Grime replies.

After getting up, Ivy explained everything to her Mom and Grime, and while a wee bit hesitant at first, they grew comfortable with this family of Axolotls, and the adults bonded over the fire, felicia parting parental wisdom to Lily, and some embarrassing Ivy moments that weren't made aware to Sprig, Maddie or Polly. (Ivy will remember this)

Grime provided propaganda for their children to enlist into his Army when they're older, but key advice here, don't immediately ask this, but serving in combat is all Grime knows, so what else could he say?

After a really eventful day, everyone got some shut eye, it was surprisingly comfortable and well needed. The next day couldn't have come sooner, Newtopia received Polly's S.O.S and a Newtopian Ship has docked at the Island.

Once Polly had put Frobo's head back on his body, they were all ready to leave, and as Sprig said, everyone was really friendly with the Axolotl Family. As for Axel and his family, they felt renewed hope for their lives, who knows what shenanigans ensue for them in Amphibia?

Everyone was on board, everything was accounted for, with that checked out, they set sail back to The Mainland.

Everyone was chatting it up with one another, but Sprig, well he peered out to the oceans, no longer missing Anne, but he won't forget her impact on him, Sprig couldn't wait  for what else lies ahead.

Chapter 6: Road to Rekindle (TOH)

Summary:

Vee and Masha's relationship over the years.

Chapter Text

Dimension: X- 150612 (Earth)

Location: Gravesfield, Connecticut

Six Years Ago, Vee made a decision that is, till to this day, one of her most emotionally challenged choices.

Her reasons were noble, but at what cost. She didn't abandon them, Vee held out hope that one day Masha would come to their senses for their verbal actions against Luz.

The first few days for Masha was contemplation, questioning their friendship with Vee, did she know something that she wasn't telling them. If so, why not tell them. For Vee, she was caught up in some planetary conflict with being from the stars, which led to a brawl, her feelings for Masha were on hold til whatever The Boiling Isles was up against was over.

And after all that Archivist BS was dealt with, Vee and Camila returned back to The Human Realm, she sees Masha loitering by The Noceda household.

I'll leave you two alone, I'm....needed at the vet, Camila suspiciously replies.

So, what brings your dreadful presence here, Vee replies.

Is your loser of a sister with you, Masha harshly replies.

Hey, I thought that was a one time insult for her, don't go around making it a regular, she's already been through enough, Vee threatens.

Well  tell me the truth then, I only stopped by in good faith, what you said a few days ago, I just wanted to request elaboration, Masha replies.

Oh right, that, well what I said that day would be elaborate enough for you, I used to have a crush on you, and our friendship is at a standstill, I still have faith, you can change your outlook on Luz, but this conversation really questions all that, Vee replied.

So what, it's over, these last three years were for nothing? Masha questions.

Well if that's what you want, so be it, Vee said.

Vee slams the door on Masha. Masha was kidding with their prior statement, but it was too late for Vee to realise this. Masha leaves in disappointment, unbeknownst that as soon as Vee entered the house, she fell to her knees crying, it was tough and heartbreaking but it was for Luz. Friends come and go, but family is always forever, blood or not.

.

.

.

A few weeks had passed since their "breakup", Luz popped by to visit Camila and Vee, after rebuilding The Boiling Isles.....again, Luz hadn't checked up on her Mom and Sister since the conflict.

Vee, in those weeks, pulled herself together and tried to move on from Masha, she blocked their number to avoid future confrontations. Vee committed to her studies in the meantime.

Knock, knock, Luz cheerfully says.

Hey Luz, Vee said while studying.

So, your following in Mami's footsteps, Luz asked.

Well, most likely, and if possible do the same thing in The Demon Realm, cover animals, mystical and grounded, Vee asked.

Well, you'll need to ask Viney for some pointers, but otherwise, go for it sister, Luz excitingly replied.

Yeah, I'll make sure of it, Vee replies in a monotone accent.

Hey is everything alright Vee, you don't seem like yourself? Luz asked.

Oh it's nothing, its just the last few weeks in The Isles, that's all, Vee lies.

It's about them, isn't it, Luz suspects.

Vee tries to subtly deny Luz's claims, but living together for 3.5 years under the same roof says otherwise.

Alright fine, not long after our battle with The Archivists, Masha paid a visit and well it didn't end well, Vee admits.

How bad are we talking? Luz asks.

Not on speaking terms, and it's been weeks, Vee answers.

That bad, Luz replies.

They were still bad mouthing you, I couldn't let them go on like that, Vee said.

Vee, I admire you for standing up for me, but doing it at the cost of your life here, I can't live with myself knowing your ruining your second chance here in The Human realm, for me, you don't need to worry about what others in this town say about me, Luz replies.

Your taking all this very well, Vee said.

Well, I had years of endurance to this verbal abuse, and I don't need them, I have friends who care about me, and honestly I forgive Masha, Luz replied.

Huh, but they said mean things about you, Vee replies.

Well between you and me, we know the truth, they don't, I can see her reasons for anger being justifiable, and the situation we're all in is very inconvenient, and nothing can be done unless we say the truth, and only you can do that, Luz replied.

If only it were so easy, in the weeks since that fight, I'm slowly losing feelings for them, what if there isn't a time to say it all, Vee fears.

Hey, look at me, you have a second chance to fall in love with Masha all over again, for you, you got lightning in a bottle twice, remember that, it's all up to you, it's your choice, Luz replies.

Well, I can see your point, but Masha seemed adamant in their ways of hating you, Vee points out.

Well, no one can hold a grudge against me for the rest of their lives.......I think, but Masha seems different, all it takes is time and patience, if they're truly the one for you, their test is how committed they are to correct the error of their ways, Luz replies.

You think so? Vee asked.

I'm 82% sure of it, Luz nervously replies.

Luz's advice was reassuring, to a degree, but Vee accepted it. Right now, it was her studies she would dedicate the next few years for.

.

.

.

.

.

Date: Summer 2023

Three Years passed by, Vee was able to complete her studies a year early and would graduate in about Three months. As for Masha, they took some sessions, details will not be disclosed. Masha got to the root of their issue, as it turned out, Masha here, had a crush on "Luz", dating back to that Reality Check Summer Camp from......Seven Years Ago. It wasn't so developed, but it was enough to linger on the thought, but given how Luz was hiding herself since Sophomore Year started, Masha felt betrayed, but given her mood then, they gave Luz the benefit of the doubt, but no so long after, Masha sees Luz around town with another girl, with lavender purple hair that hasn't been redyed in weeks, they were holding hands, so Masha's little crush was snuffed out, but she really didn't mind, there wasn't enough incentive nor time to really know one another for them to be a thing.

In fact, Masha would later recognize this girl again when she and some of her friends visited the Historical Society, they also met again on the hay ride they narrated during The Old Gravesfield Halloween Festival, this time Luz was there, but Masha didn't say a word, they just did their job.

But never mind Luz, what of Vee and Masha? Did they interact in those 3 years since? Well it was inevitable they would cross paths, but would always avoid confrontation or small talk, unless necessary......for the first few months, but Masha informs Vee of their improvements with mental issues, Vee was pleased, but not fully there, but was proud of Masha for trying. Vee was open to rekindle their friendship a few months in since that fateful day, Masha immediately accepts.

Masha and Vee start small, set boundaries, but baby steps nonetheless, sometimes one or both chicken out, the pain for either one was alot, and the other understood clearly. But there was decent progress made on other occasions.

Fast forward to the Summer of 2023 Luz and Amity have been engaged for  well, 3 years, they finally set a date for their wedding.........For a year from now, but no worries, there was still another wedding coming up in the next two weeks. Vee, along with Luz, Amity, Willow, Hunter, Gus and Camila were invited to said upcoming wedding. Who it was for, that's another story for another time.

While Luz and her friends went with Demon Realm Formal Attire, Camila and Vee opted for standard formal attire, mainly to diversify style. The point is, when Vee and Camila went dress (or suit) shopping, Vee bumps into Masha.

Hey Vee...Masha nervously replies.

Masha...how are you.....what brings you here, Vee replies nervously.

Picking up something for my mom, and you? Masha asked.

Well, getting a dress for a wedding, Vee replies.

Wow, who's the lucky couple? Masha asked.

Distant nephew of Camila, Vee replies.

Have I met this cousin before? Masha wondered.

Once I think, 2 years ago, Vee recalls.

Wait, was it the one with a knack for red hoodies and had a prosthetic arm? Masha asked.

Yes, it was, Vee replies.

Well, good for him, good for him, Masha said.

Masha and Vee were standing there awkwardly, not knowing what to say next.

So, I was wondering....I can bring a plus one if I wanted to, so if you want to.....Vee proposes.

I appreciate the offer Vee, but I can't, Masha replies.

I know, but it was worth a shot, Vee replies.

Hey, after the wedding, why don't you come to my place, I want to show you something, are you cool with that, Masha asked nicely.

Yeah, I'll text you when I'm done, but that wedding isn't for another two weeks, think you can wait, Vee asked.

Sure, I'll wait till then, Masha replies.

.

.

.

.

Two Weeks Later.....

Vee arrives back in Gravesfield, a bit hungover, but has enough cognitive function to be sober of her surroundings. The wedding was a blast, but Vee remembers her promise to Masha, and stumblingly walks to Masha's place.

*Knock*

*Knock*

I wonder who's awake this late into the night, Masha asked themself.

Masha opens the door to find Vee of all people by their doorstep, hazy and a hint of alcohol from her mouth and partially slurring words.

Hey. Masha, you...wanted to show....me something, Vee drunkenly said.

Oh shit, I forgot all about that, but your here, so make yourself comfortable, Masha offers.

Masha's place was very rustic and witch like, but Vee was drunk enough to not fully process the place.

Nice place you have here, Vee said.

Thanks, you've been here before, a few times actually, Masha informs.

Oh, I guess my mind likes to forget things, but hey, at least I can experience falling in love with you again, Vee drunkenly blurts out.

Yeah....wait what did you say?!? Masha asked.

I get to fall in love with you all over again, your a good person Masha, I never want to leave your side, Vee drunkenly confesses.

Immediately after that bombshell of a confession, Vee is out for the night on Masha's couch, they wanted to get her up, but Masha saw how peacefully Vee was napping, and let her rest at their place.

.

.

.

The next Morning Vee wakes up, dazed and bed ridden with a nasty hangover, once she gets her bearing, Vee comes to the realization where she is.

How did I end up here? Vee asked.

You got yourself here after the Wedding, Masha replies while having Breakfast.

Oh, and you were cool with me staying here for the night? Vee asked.

Yeah, and I did want you to come by once you were done with the wedding......do you still remember? Masha asked.

Not so much, its all fuzzy, Vee said.

Here, this drink should clear all that, Masha offers.

Vee takes the drinks and sips it. Immediately spits it out.

WHAT THE HELL WAS IN THAT DRINK!!! Vee asked.

A mix of water, juice, energy drinks, milk, basically any tolerable liquids I still had, Masha answered.

Well as much as I hate it, it certainly did the job, Vee admits.

So what did you want to show me? Vee asked.

Masha takes Vee into a room, it was dimly lit, but what Vee saw was questionable to say the least.

You have a cork board of my sister and her friends, how lovely, Vee nervously replies.

Oh, it's not what you think, I'm over Luz, Masha said.

Over her? But you weren't.......Hold on, Vee realizes.

Yeah, it's something I never told anyone, not even Cabin 7, I had a crush on Luz, since Summer Camp all those years ago, it wasn't much then, but it still lingered around, but once she started ghosting me, it changed me, and years after, I didn't like who I'd become, my hatred for your sister, drove you away, it's eaten me up since that day, I hated myself for what I did, but even then, you still held out hope for me, and I will always appreciate that, it helped get through this crazed obsession, Masha replies.

I'm proud of you for doing that, also, didn't not see that lore drop coming, but I have one question? Vee asked.

Go ahead, Masha said.

What's with the corkboard, still doesn't answer my question, Vee asked.

Well, during said obsession, I had some conspiracies as to the sudden personality change on Luz, and with her friends popping in and out of town each week, and knowing me, I always crave a good mystery, cause outside of The Wittabane Brothers, this town has nothing to it, in a supernatural or mystical sense, and well, I had some conclusions, but I ditched them all together, Masha said.

Why....exactly, Vee asked.

Well, the more I did all this the more I felt like Jacob Hopkins, and I didn't want to be as deranged as he is, so I abandoned this pursuit, Masha replies.

Well that's understandable, thank god you did that, but why keep it up still, Vee asked.

Well, the mystery of it was exhilarating, who can blame me, Masha said.

Yeah, I can relate, Vee subtly replies.

But last night, something dawned on me, Masha answered.

What was it? Vee asks.

As Vee says that, Masha drags every piece of mystery and conspiracy of Luz and her friends from the board, it all drops to the ground, and Mash pulls out a lighter and burns it all.

WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, Vee frantically asked.

Because of this, Masha replies.

Masha pulls Vee in for a kiss on the lips, Vee had little time to process what just transpired, but that kiss had her fluently remember what she said to Masha last night. Vee correctly assumes this would be Masha's response to all she said. Vee went through with, no regrets included.

Vee and Masha, after trials and tribulation, mentally scouring their darkest hells for years, it was finally all worth it. But their journey wasn't over yet..

Present Day

Vee and Masha are having a picnic in The Gravesfield Park, it was going really swell, it was what Vee planned for, and it was making her more and more confident for what was about come next.

Hey Masha, can we go somewhere secluded, I need to tell you something important, Vee asked.

Sure, where exactly? Masha asked.

Vee takes Masha near The shack housing the Portal Door.

This place? Huh, let me guess, your finally telling what you use this for? Masha asked.

Well no, but it sorta has to do with it, Vee reveals.

Okay, this is a wee bit concerning, Masha asked.

I haven't been completely honest with who I am these last few years, the truth is....... I'm not a human, I'm a shape shifting Basilisk from a place called The Demon Realm, Vee reveals while shifting into her true form.

Masha stood there in silence for a minute before replying with something.

This is...........a development, personally I thought it was going to be a magical warlock, but never would've imagined a Basilisk, Masha replied.

Wait your not surprised or shocked by this, Vee asked.

Well you know me Vee, tarot cards, affinity for divination, mysteries, the whole shabang, but I wouldn't say its completely surprising, but now it all makes sense now, back at summer camp, that wasn't Luz, that was you, it was all you, Masha realised.

Yes, that was me at summer camp, that crush on "Luz" you had, that was me disguised as Luz, Vee reveals.

So all that hate I had for Luz then, it was all you, well.....I feel scummy now she caught all those strays from me for nothing, now I need to apologise, Masha said.

Wait hold on, that wasn't all I had to say, Masha, there has been something I've wanted to say for the last three years, Vee asked.

Vee shift back into her human form and starts to kneel down on one knee.

Masha Williams, words cannot fully describe how wonderful, exotic, funny and smart you are, you showed me so much of what it means to be a human, even if you didn't know then, and despite our own shortcomings in the years following, we both made it through it all with the support of each other.

So, Masha Williams, will you marry me, Vee replied while holding an open box housing an engagement ring.

Vee....yes. Yes I will marry you, Masha replies.

Vee puts the ring on Masha and goes in for a passionate kiss, blissfully moving around, but Masha gazes behind Vee and gets shocked by what she sees in the sky.

Masha, what is it, are my kisses sloppy, Vee asked.

Uh, you might want to look behind you, Masha replied.

Vee looks behind her into the sky, to her shock was a weirdly colored X-shaped rift in the sky.

But what shook Vee even more was what she heard from afar.

We need to go, NOW!!! Vee shouts.

What. Why, and where? Masha asked.

Follow me, no time to explain now, Vee answered.

What Vee heard was a shockwave that engulfed everything, living or not, into something too painful for her to describe, the screams of agony from those unable to avoid it was enough to scar Vee of what this "thing" is.

Vee rushes to The Portal Door with Masha in tow, pushing them in before going through herself. Luckily they both enter just in time, but in the process The shack, and more importantly, The Portal Door is destroyed, leaving them stranded in The Demon Realm.

Chapter 7: Luz and Amity's Therapeutic Christmas Extravaganza (SVTFOE & TOH)

Summary:

The not so anticipated Sequel to Star and Marco's Excellent Christmas Adventure is here, now with 150% more Owl House and 101% angsty trauma for Luz and Amity.

Chapter Text

Dimension: X- 150612 (Earth)

Location: Noceda Residence, Gravesfield, Connecticut

Date: December 24th, 2020

(Sequel to Star and Marco's Excellent Christmas Adventure)

Alot happened for Luz Noceda this past year, she moved to The Demon Realm full time to study at The University of Wild Magic, proposed to her one true love, Amity Blight, reawaken her Titan powers she never knew she had, and save The Boiling Isles, again.

But for Luz, the weirdest event to happen to her this year wasn't anything magical, it was a simple encounter with long lost extended family, who had more to offer aside from karate and nachos. Meeting Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz was to her a life changing moment, not only was there more people like her, but Marco was a blood relative of hers, something Luz never thought would happen, having a someone in the family who also had tales of fantasy to share.

Coming off the heels of the conflict with The Archivists, Star and Marco extended their gratitude with Luz and her friends, forging an alliance of business and personal purpose. And as a show of kindness Luz invited the two to her home in Gravesfield to celebrate Christmas Eve with her. They both happily accepted.

So there I was, with Marco, in the Abstract Wastelands, fighting off a horde of zombified Hydras guarding a temporal gauge, we whip out our best spells, and to my surprise , Marco's was a plethora of kitten bombs that had his face on them, Star tells.

Wow, that's something, I'm guessing it was embarrassing for him, Luz asked.

Oh no, the ironic part was it actually did the job, they were taken down by those bombs, I was surprised and laughing my head off from that performance, Star laughs.

Alright sweetie, that might be enough eggnog for you for tonight, Marco says as he sit down next to Star.

Boooo, safe kid alert, Star drunkenly teases.

The Hexsquad chuckle at Star's response.

I'm used to it at this point, Marco says.

Wow, you two sure have alot of stories to tell about your dimensional adventures, Amity says with a hint of envy.

Getting to explore so many culturally diverse worlds, Willow said.

Meeting so many unique people, Hunter said.

And the food? Vee says.

Yeah, the food in some places are to die for, Star replied.

Especially Goblin Dogs, Marco admits.

Oh yes, they are the best food we've tried in our lives, too bad your Mom wasn't hear to hear about it, remind me where is at again, Star asked Luz.

She hanging out with Eda, something about showing her a really good night out on the town, Luz says.

Damn, must be a bad night for her, Star said.

My Mom can handle whatever Eda throws at her, Luz says defending her Mom.

I meant Eda, Star answers.

Oh, then in that case, you have a point, Luz answered.

What do you imply by that, Amity curiously asks.

You don't want to know, trust me, Luz says with sincerity.

Noted, Willow replied.

Speaking of, I wish we could explore some of these places, Luz said.

Well I'm not opposed to having more join us, but all say your occupied, what's wrong, cold feet, Star teases.

No, no, it's just pure inconvenience to us when you or Marco offer up one of us the chance, Luz said.

Alright, alright, we'll discuss this later, but anyone interested in more of mine and Star's tales, Marco offers.

All six members of The Hexsquad raised their hands in agreement.

Well, which one to tell though? Star ponders.

Maybe the one with saving Tom from that group of mole people? Marco suggested.

How about the one with Kaiju's, that one was a close call, especially with that atomic Lizard, who knew hearing them out would lead to everyone being happy, Star said.

The suggestion were more shocking to Luz and her friends, and they haven't even settled on one.

I've got it, Star said.

Which one is it, Gus asked.

Well Marco and I have a story, and it fits with the mood, Star says.

Oh I know which one it is, actually not a bad idea, Marco said.

A Christmas one, now this is interesting, Luz said.

Okay, this happened exactly 3 years ago, I was helping Marco with some training to better control his magic, when he accidently hits something out from the sky, we go to investigate, and who do we find....Santa Claus himself, Star says.

Everyone grew skeptical, particularly Luz.

Star's right, it was Santa, and while we didn't mean harm, he did need help, so to make it up to him, we helped him pull his sleigh and reindeer back to his workshop. Turns out Santa had been wanting to expand his delivery route beyond Earth, more worlds, more opportunity to spread cheer, and Star and I were happily pleased to help him, heck we even helped delivering presents on his run, Marco says.

Okay, I know you two had many unique adventures, but there is a fine line between actually going on them and lying for drama, Luz says with skepticism.

We aren't lying, as much as it seems to be a fantasy, it did happen, I mean doesn't the Isles receive gifts around this time anyways, Star asked.

Now that you mention it, gifts have been appearing to all the young witches and demons of The Isles for about 3 years now, Amity ponders.

See that must be him, Marco said.

No, I do remember that, but it never said Santa, and it didn't seem to resemble Christmas gifts, it was fleshy boxes, Luz said.

Then he must have adapted his gifts to naturally fit in better with the place of delivery, even giving himself an alias, Star theorized.

It's okay to be wrong Star, Luz said.

No Luz, I'm serious, this did happen, Star shouts.

I mean, I believe alot things, but even I have my limits, Luz said.

What will it take to prove that I'm not lying, Star asked.

If Santa crashed landed right now, I will cover myself up in snow and pose as a snowman for six hours, Luz bets.

*Object Crash Lands*

What was that?  Vee asked.

Everyone exited the house, and saw whatever crashed, landed near the portal shack. They all run to the shack to investigate, and found an injured Santa, laying unconscious.

Well Luz, I know what your going to do tomorrow, Star teases.

Oh can it, but I will admit I was wrong, Luz admits.

Marco and Hunter carry Santa discreetly back to The Noceda Residence, everyone else gathered the sleigh and reindeers and masked them in a Illusion, just in case any snooping humans pass by. They rest him on the sofa. Shortly after, he slowly gains consciousness.

Ugh, what happened? Santa asked.

You had a nasty crash, but your okay now, Star informs.

You had a nasty injury, but we're right on it, Marco said.

Star, Marco, it's so good to see you two, Santa says.

Us too, it's been a while, Star replied.

Indeed, and I've seen you made some new friends, Santa said.

Oh right, Santa Claus, meet Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Willow Park, Augustus Porter, Hunter Wittabane and Vee Noceda, they're good friends of ours and can be trusted, Star said.

I know, I'll take your word for it, if they're a friend of yours, then they're a friend of mine, Santa happily says.

What happened? Marco asked.

Funnily enough I came to find you and Star, I need your help, Santa says.

With what? We'll do anything, Marco says.

I appreciate the determination. *sighs* someone has taken over my workshop, I don't know who, but they took control of everything, and my elves have fallen under her control, Christmas is in danger, and she doesn't seem affected by it whatsoever, Santa replied.

Is there any clues as to who she is? Star asked.

Not much, but she had pointy ears.....like them, Santa said, while pointing to The Hexsquad (minus Luz and Vee).

Amity had a hunch as to who "she" was.

Did this woman have pastel minty green hair by any chance? Amity asked.

I can't be too certain, but I was able to a small strand of it, and it was as you described, why you know her? Santa asked.

Unfortunately so, that heartless woman is my mother, Amity said.

But that's impossible, wasn't she locked up in The Conformatorium, Hunter said.

Yeah, but remember recent events, it destroyed many areas of The Isles, including The Conformatorium, she must've escaped in the chaos, Amity theorized.

But how did she end up making it to The North Pole? Willow asks.

We don't know, but right now if she's taking over Christmas then we need to stop her now!! Star says.

Hey guys, now's your chance to join us on one of our adventures, that is if your willing to come, Marco offers.

Are you kidding who wouldn't want to come and save Christmas, Willow said.

Yeah, this is big for us, I mean, when are we going to get the chance to do this again, Gus says.

Gus' right, I'm in, Hunter said.

I second Gus' decision, Vee said.

If it means putting an end to my mother's reign of terror, then sign me up, Amity says.

What about you Luz? Amity asked.

Luz stood for a moment, she really did want to help, but a small part of her had questionability., I mean 5 minutes ago she just had doubts of Santa's existence, now he needs help. Luz was a little it uneasy, but for the sake of her friends, current and new, she accepted.

I'm in, Luz says with a hint of doubt.

Well then, I guess we have a Christmas adventure on our hands, and Amity, since this is your Mom we're dealing with, you want to lead this one, Star offers.

Why not, it's about time I put her in her place, Amity angrily replies.

Now I wouldn't be the type to condone such cruel behavior towards a parental figure, but if what you say about her is true? I'll make an exception this one time, Santa says.

Well then, what are you waiting for? Let's go, Vee replies.

Vee was about to slither out before realizing something.

How do we get to The North Pole? Vee asks.

Follow me, Santa says while causally walking out.

................

What? I'm a fast healer, Santa replies.

Everyone makes it to the Portal Shack and Gus uncloaks the Illusion revealing Santa's Sleigh and Reindeers.

So is there a reason to come out here, couldn't Star or Marco portal us there? Hunter asks.

Actually their magic can't take them there, only my magic can, and I'm not fully there yet, so I only have enough to take all of us, including my sleigh and Reindeer for a one way trip, Santa informs.

So would we be stuck there? Amity asks.

Oh no, any magic can work from within since you would be leaving, but it doesn't apply the other way round, Santa says.

Noted, Amity replies.

Alright here goes nothing, Santa said.

Santa conjures a big portal to bring what they need back with him.

Outskirts of Santa's Village, Neptune......

Unexpected difficulties had portaled them just outside Santa's Village, seems as though Odalia is tampering with more than just the gifts.

Damn its freezing out here, Luz said.

What did you expect it's Neptune, but maybe I should conjure some warm clothing up, Star said.

Star conjures a simple spell to give everyone comfortable winter clothing.

What about you Vee? Star asked.

No worries, I can shape shift my blood to adapt to the cold climate, Vee says.

Since when could you do that?!?!! Luz asked.

I though you knew, didn't any of you read up on Basilisk Biology? Vee asks.

We didn't but we will when all this is over, Hunter ensures.

Everyone high tails to The Village, The rest of The Hexsquad chat to Star and Marco and tell them more about their first encounter with Santa, while Luz trails near the back. Feeling conflicted, but forgets that Santa is next to her.

You seem down Luz, what's the matter? Santa asks.

I'm not sure, all this feels very surreal, but not in a good way, Luz said.

Christmas was never the same for you when he died, wasn't it? Santa guesses.

Yeah, I mean I still love the holiday, but it never felt energetic, not without Papi, Christmas would always be my favourite day to look forward to, at least it used to be, Luz said.

I know what you want, you've been through alot child, but even my powers can't defy something like that, even for one person, Santa admits.

It doesn't even stop there, being bullied and abused for being weird, even something as simple as believing in you, Luz admits.

My dear, anyone can still have a childlike Christmas spirit, even if they're all grown up, as long as their inner child is apart of them, your never, and I've kept tabs on those bullies of your, and I'll  make sure I leave them a little surprise, Santa assures.

Thank for the pep talk, but I don't see a lump of coal working out as a surprise, Luz mentioned.

Actually, in recent years I've leaned away from the whole coal for naughty children, now they get "gifts", Santa said.

So they get treated well, seems odd, Luz suspects.

It's not those kinds of gifts, these ones have a small harmless prank or jump scare built in, they think they can get away with it, but then kablam, Santa explains.

That's..... THE BEST IDEA EVER, Luz cheers.

You think? Santa asks.

Well, I have some ideas of my own, on the top of my head, Luz said with excitement.

Well I'll look into those ideas, so as long as they don't contain spiders, snakes or fireworks, Santa says while alluding to Luz's past with said items.

Heh, heh, you know of that? Luz asked nervously.

I know everything about all children, even your friends, and while I know, deep down you yearn to spend one last moment with him, I can't bend the laws of Death, but I can advise that you have a group of friends and family that support you all the way, take the time to enjoy the now, rather than dwell on the past that hurt you, Santa says.

Enjoy the now, Luz says.

Luz goes in for a strong hug at Santa.

Thank you Santa, all these years, I always felt sad you couldn't give me the one thing I needed, but I understand now, even magical beings like you have limitations, and death is something no one can overcome, I guess the saying is true, all roads lead to death, Luz said.

Your welcome Luz Noceda, and remember, don't lose that creative and energetic personality your Father gave to you in his final moments, Santa advises.

I promise....and also the rumors are true, Luz says while sniffing Santa.

What rumors? Santa asks.

That you smell of cookies, milk and candy canes, Luz answered.

Oh right, I forgot about that one, an oldie, but a goodie, Santa reminisces.

Before Luz could reply, Amity speaks up, saying they're here at the entrance to his workshop.

It's quiet....too quiet, Amity senses.

Knowing your Mom, she isn't one to be silent, always with the theatrics, Willow said.

You took the words right out of my mouth Willow, Amity says.

Amity kicks the doors down, hoping to encounter her Mom, but the workshop was empty, infact there are gifts already prepared and ready.

Hmm, something isn't right, my mom isn't one to be generous like this, Amity suspects.

Everyone investigates the toys to inspect if there's a hint of Odalia on them.

They're high quality, I'll give them that, Star says.

My mother doesn't deserve that kind of praise, Amity barks back.

I was talking about the elves Amity, I've been told what kind of mother you have, why do you think I gave you full leadership on this adventure, Star says.

Cause I'd be the only one who gets to rightfully punishes her, Amity said.

Well, that depends what you choose, Star replied.

I mean, I've wanted to dish out punishment for her, but I mean with all the bad things I can recall her committing, she's still my Mom, Amity says with reluctance.

Let me tell you about my Mom. Before all this, my Mom and I were not seeing eye to eye, I mean she was very pushy for be to be something I'm not, even if it was destined, in my heart I never wanted to be the queen she wanted me to be, Star says.

We disagreed, alot, and through all that, we did get along, and even though there was a time she and I had opposing ideals, going as far as to working with people who intended to thwart everything myself and Eclipsa worked for, I thought she was a lost cause, but she saw the shattered trust she broke, she realised then, she committed an unforgivable act that divided herself from her own daughter, Star answers.

But she saw her actions taking on the consequences and realised she needed to make it right, and that she did. Mothers are complicated Amity, but deep down, and in Odalia's case, very, very deep down has good intentions, even if they don't show it or understand its not what you wanted, Star advises.

I can't say, nor do anything with your Mom, you have to decide if you want justice or get to the root of it all, the choice is yours Amity Blight, Star said.

You really think my Mom is worth saving, after siding with a genocidal manic, knowingly knew beforehand her own kind would be wiped out, never caring for her husband or children, Amity says.

All I'm saying is, do you want to save her, after everything she did to you, will you find something worth saving in her, Star asked.

I....I don't know, Amity said.

Keeping thinking, I know you'll make the right choice, Star ensures.

Amity was questioning her morality, would she do something unforgivable, even with all of Odalia's misdeeds, is it right to make such a choice?

The gang ventures around til they hear commotion in the break room.

Shocker.... she's verbally berating the elves for taking breaks and expects them to work long continuous shifts, Amity says sarcastically.

Alright, time to end this assault on my livelihood, Santa says.

Santa kicks the doors off its hinges shocking everyone in and out the break room.

Alright, Odalia, hands where I can see them, Santa demands.

Oh look, the "jolly" fat man is here to arrest me, Odalia says mockingly.

Well, I brought some backup with me, maybe you need a blast from the past to make you talk, Santa says.

In that exact moment, The Hexsquad and Starco emerge, armed up to take down Odalia.

Amity, Odalia says with disgust.

Odalia, Amity replies, with even more disgust from her tone.

I really don't know why he called you in, I'm doing just fine, nothing out of the ordinary, Odalia says suspiciously.

What's your endgame, Luz asked.

Well Luz, if you want to know, I just want to spread cheer to all the children in the universe, Odalia says.

And yet you couldn't do that with your own kids, cut the crap, what are you really doing, Amity threatens.

She's charging every child for their presents, Hunter revealed while holding a toy with a price tag.

Wow, charging kids for their gifts, that's a new low, even for you, Gus calls out.

Alright I had enough of your complaints, guards seize them, Odalia orders.

Two larger than life Nutcrackers stand side by side, seemingly enchanted by Odalia to follow orders.

What are you going to do now?  Odalia says smugly.

This, Star said intervening.

Star and Marco conjure hard light fists that one hit K.O both nutcrackers.

Odalia was shook, clearly she never took Amity's new friends into account.

We can talk about this, Odalia says, now frighten.

Oh, we'll talk alright, Amity says.

Amity engulfs herself to become full abomination Goo and engulf Odalia in it, while slithering on the ground with her all the way into the cold tundra of Neptune. Everyone else would tend to the elves, making sure they're alright and help with any other problems.

As for Amity, she finally confronts her roots.

Look Amity, let's not be rash here, we're all grown ups here, Odalia pleas.

Listen here, you've caused enough damage for everyone in your life time, Amity snaps.

Amity forms an abomination blade and angles the sharp end near Odalia.

You don't have the guts to do it, it's never in your nature, it was a weakness, I made you stronger, but you had to take all that away when that human showed up in your life, Odalia snarls.

Well sorry to break it to you, but that human showed me a side I repressed for years cause of your sickening demands, I was a child when you threatened to make Willow's life a living hell, making me choose to end our friendship in the most Blight way possible, I'm just grateful Willow was willing to amend what we lost so long ago, I became alot stronger with my friends, which you deemed inferior, Amity admits.

Well in due time you'll come crawling back to me, all of you will, Odalia desperately says.

Who exactly, everyone that was close to you, you drove away, your own husband, or should I say Ex-Husband, your children, and friends, not that you had any to begin with, what was it you had....oh right, business associates, Amity coldly replies.

Your on thin ice young lady, Odalia says while trying to instill obedience.

Your still trying to mother me, after everything your dense mind can't see through it all, well news flash, your no longer my mother, Amity replies.

This statement finally hit Odalia where it belonged, feeling something that was thought to never happen in Odalia's lifetime.

But after everything, I just want to know one thing.....Why? Amity asked.

Why, what? Odalia angrily replies.

Why do everything, conform your children to people they don't want to be, always focus on the profits and perks regardless of consequences, and overwork the person who truly built up Blight Industries. i though Dad was like you, but after actually getting to know him, when your not overworking him with the business and turning down his ideas, which could benefit millions, he wanted the best for me, the best for Edric and Emira, but you controlled him to your liking, you made our Father into a pawn, for years, I'm just glad he broke free from your manipulative grip, Amity replies.

Well, I always knew Alador was a lost cause, Odalia replies.

Hey...that's my Dad your talking about, Amity says.

Odalia groaned at the weeping display Amity is giving. Amity slowly edges the blade near Odalia's neck.

I just want to know, what get's you up everyday to do sinful deeds that mentally and physically damage your own family, and I want to know, were you ever a mother in your life, a genuine mother, not what I've witness since I could remember, Amity asks.

Odalia, reluctantly with no other choice tries to recall something, anything that displays her being a good mom, but even she couldn't find anything, for the first time in her greedy life, Odalia felt something.

But before she could register it, Amity arms herself in position.

*sighs* As much as I admit to hate it, your right, so do it, relieve yourself of the root of your problems, Odalia says while embracing what could be her final moments.

Amity, with enough rage to light up a continent, swings in for the final blow, but stops right near the end. Star was right, she wasn't this person, ending her would just mean being the next Odalia, Amity retracts her blade and frees Odalia from the grip of Abomination Goo.

You spared me? Odalia says in shock.

I'm not who you wanted me to be, and you need to accept that, Amity told Odalia.

Unwise to spare your enemy, isn't it, Odalia said.

Well a wise new friend once told me Mothers are complicated, and deep down, there is something worth saving. I don't know if there is anything in you worth saving, but like that friend told me, I need confront the roots of it all, and maybe there is something you need to confront as well, Amity advises.

Odalia was conflicted, but being given the freedom, takes it, she doesn't say anything, only nods at Amity and walks off. Maybe the most irredeemable have their own roots to confront.

Amity, relieved of the roots, feels a lot more at peace now, sure she may have not gotten all the answers, and Amity expected to not get any, there's a lot of layers to crack with Odalia, but if someone like her could have a possibility at redemption, but Amity wasn't fully counting on it happening, but sh'd damned impressed if it the impossible happens,

Amity walks back to the workshop and sees her friends in a frenzy....they're helping make toys.

Good to see you Amity, care to help us get back on schedule, Santa offers.

Amity nods and gets to working on making toys.

Some time later, they got all the needed toys to deliver, there was one other issue at hand.

Well, everything is in order, but I'm falling behind schedule with delivering these gifts, Santa says,

He looks to Luz, Amity, Willow, Hunter, Gus, Vee, Star and Marco.

Would the eight of you helped me deliver presents with me, as honorary Santa's, Santa offers.

Everyone squealed in excitement with this opportunity, and Santa even touches his nose, which magically gives everyone Santa like attire to fit the part.

Everyone gets onto Santa's sleigh and on his orders, Santa  commands the reindeer to take off and he activates a globe which opens up a portal and warps them light speed through the portal.

Through every world and every dimension Santa and his eight disciples aid in delivery the joy of Christmas all over, a montage of each member of The Hexsquad or Star and Marco going home to home on multiple planets, delivery presents, and maybe indulging in a treat or two.

After what feels like forever they did almost every world, but only one remains, Earth, the godfather planet of Christmas, and the squad had a lot to cover, unlike most worlds, the amount of children is highest on Earth, more than anywhere else, estimated in the billions.

Locking in everyone blitzed through every household on the planet, zipping past to make sure no house was unaccounted for.

By the end only one house remained and with a few minutes to spare.

So, who wants to this last house? Santa? Luz asked.

Why don't you go ahead and do this one, trust me, Santa ensures.

Luz goes in the home to deliver this last gift, the interior was very homey, but as she was about to put the gift down Luz hears crying, she slowly walks around to the kitchen and finds a small girl, no older than eight years old crying.

As Luz slowly approaches, the girl heard her approve and huddled back near a wall with a stuffed bunny firmly grasped in her arms.

Hey, hey, I'm not here to hurt you little one, Luz consoles.

Who...are you? The girl asked.

I'm Luz, Luz replies.

Where's Santa Claus? she asked as she's on the verge of tears.

It's okay, it's okay, I'm a friend , he sent me here to help him deliver presents with him, why are you crying? Luz kindly asks.

I...I wanted to ask Santa something, I waited and waited but maybe he doesn't go to houses with weirdos like me, The girl says.

Why would you say that about yourself, Santa is a very jolly and kind person, he doesn't mind if you weird or not, Luz says.

But all my classmates say mean stuff about me and make mean teases of my likes, The girl admits.

Luz couldn't believe what she heard, this girl was just like her at her age, Luz knew the pain it caused, she didn't want a kindred spirit like her going through he same thing.

Hey, I know what your going through, I've been where you are, your not alone, Luz says.

So how did you deal with it? The girl asks.

Well, it took some years for me, but it took those closets to me, friends or family, even both, they loved me for who I am, even when I couldn't see it in myself. A support group, who have your back, who share similar interests, weird or not, a key mantra I remind myself of, "Us weirdos have to stick together", Luz consoles.

And if you don't see it now, all you need to do*takes out a light glyph* is turn on the lights, Luz said while activating a Light Glyph.

Woahh! The girl replies.

Cool, isn't it, here, you try, Luz replied while handing another Light Glyph to the girl.

The girl gently taps on the glyph which scrunches up and forms a floating ball of light.

Cool!!! How do you do that? The girl asks, now free of tears.

A Witch never reveals their secrets, but if you ever feel down, you can always look to this as a sign of hope that your not alone out there, Luz says while handing the girl a Light Glyph.

I advise not tapping it, keep the glyph to remind you of this moment, to know your a special kid in your own right, you don't need the validation of others, only the validation of yourself, Luz advises.

She's right you know, Santa says while hanging around by the fireplace.

SANTA!!! The girl cheers while running up to Santa, giving him a big hug.

Aww, thank you for the hug, and you don't need to worry, I deliver to all the nice children, no matter how weird their interest are, you are no exception,  heck your one of the nicest kids on the list, and I wanted to deliver this gift in person, Santa says while reaching in for his sack to hand deliver the final gift.

The girl quietly squeals in excitement, thanking Santa.

Your very welcome, but Luz and I need to go now, so I'm afraid you will forget all this happening, Santa admits.

The girl was saddened by this, but knew the tales of Santa, this was something that was bound to happen.

Don't worry, you'll think of it as a dream, but deep down you'll know in your heart where the truth lies, right Santa? Luz says.

Absolutely, its apart of the magic, but I enjoy moments like this, it's what I love most about this, Santa says.

Santa and Luz were ready to ascend back up the chimney.

It was nice meeting you Lucia, Santa says as he and Luz magically ascend back up while leaving a cloud of magic dust, which knocked Lucia out on the couch, sleeping peacefully, like nothing ever happened.

Noceda Residence, Christmas Morning.....

Thanks for the drop off Santa, but I did have one question to ask? Luz asked.

Go for it, Santa said.

I had the last gift for that girl, but you seemed to also have, so what was I holding then? Luz asks.

Well when your ready open it and find out, Santa teases.

Santa then takes off flying away while shouting his iconic Ho, ho, ho catchphrase.

Well, what was something to remember for the books, Vee says.

Yeah, how do you two do it as past time, Willow asks Star and Marco.

Honestly, we just yearn for it, no matter the risk, its what forged our relationship, Star says.

She's right, and speaking of, we need to head back, we can't keep our parents waiting up, Marco says.

Yeah, we always cut it close on holidays, but before we leave, we might aswell hand your gifts now, Star says while opening a portal to grab a heavy handful of gifts, same with Marco.

You guys, you shouldn't have, Luz said.

Oh, come , I mean its tis the season and all, so why not spoil our new friends with lavish gifts, Star gestures.

Well thank you, and I hope you two have a good Christmas with your families, Luz replies.

Same to all of you also, well then, byeeeee, Star says as she and Marco exit through another portal, now closed.

Later.....

The Noceda household was bustling with guests, Willow's Dads, Gus' Father, Alador, Darius, Edric, Emira, Eda, King, Lilith and Hooty, all there for a spectacular Christmas. everyone opening their gifts enjoying the company. It was a blowout. As for Luz she was outside with Amity.

So, are you going to open it or not? Amity asks.

I don't know if I should, I don't want to disappoint myself, Luz says.

Well take the jump and find out, Amity advises.

Luz taking in her fiancée's words opened up the gift and finds a snow globe in there with a note, Luz curious as ever reads the note:

"It might not be what you wanted, but I hope this brings you a sense of closure" - S.C

Luz shakes the globe and it glows showcasing a very faint memory of her first ever Christmas, with her Dad in memory, acting as goofy and quirky as ever, even her Mom joined in on the fun.

But Manny carries Luz and speaks to her:

"You maybe too young to remember this Luz, but you will always be my special girl, no matter how quirky and weird you might turn out to be, don't lose that, cause sometimes the quirks and weirdness in a person is what makes them special and I hope you grow up keeping that spark burning bright, for you're my little light."

Luz??? Amity asked.

Luz was in tears hearing that, tears of joy, to hear something as motivating as her own Dad speaking to her, really consoled Luz, even beyond the light, he still comforts Luz in times of doubt.

She hugs Amity which Amity happily obliges, comforting her soon to be wife, even if she is crying happily about it.

Suddenly something catches Amity's attention.

Guess what were under Luz, Amity says.

Let me guess, mistletoe, Luz replies.

Well we know where this leads to, get over here Blight, Luz passionately says.

Luz and Amity, under the mistletoe, share a comforting kiss, embracing their love once more for the people.

Q: How do you feel after the war?

Star: Alot can happen in an instance, one minute your an exchange student on Earth, the next, your leading a team of like minded individuals with more out of world experience than the average person.

But I digress, the aftermath was something to be certain about, everyone lost someone or something that day, and it put alot on us involved, it made us ponder to ourselves, just how much is enough to break someone?

While Bill Cipher was more of an enemy to Dipper and Mabel, he saw something in me that frightens me, and from what the Pines say about him, he seemed ALMOST threatened by me in a way, that says something about me, am I too powerful now? Do I need to plan for the worst?

Marco: If you told 14-year old me that having magical abilities, constantly endangering myself, having an equally magical and adorable girlfriend/best friend, I'd list a million reason why that would not be true, but here I am now, part of a team with others who tend to follow a pattern of the extraordinary.

But, I have had sacrifices along the way, losing an arm, being possessed, almost dying, yeah its lot for someone who was known as a safe kid. But would I go back to all that? Not a chance, and I would go to the ends of worlds to ensure those closest to me are protected.

Dipper: To be back to where it all began is surreal, we started our new normal in Gravity Falls and now we won The Chaos War in the same place it all started, but to be one of two people without biological or acquired powers in a team of individuals with magical powers and mystical abilities goes to show that you don't need all that to stand up to those threatening everything dear to you, as the saying goes "Your only Human".

But this war did take alot from me, losing Ford hits hard, the very author of the journals that kickstarted mine and Mabel's venture into mystery, yeah, alot to process, and he was more than the author in my eyes, the one good thing is that I got to spend nearly 15 years with him, and now his legacy is all that remains.

I'm just more worried how Mabel and Stan are taking it, especially Grunkle Stan, losing a sibling like that can be alot to take in, but what matters is being there for him.

Mabel: To think......well that's overrated, and I'm pretty sure my bro gave all the deets, but coming from me, despite all the eccentric personality on the surface, I tend to mask how I feel, and I might have not been as close to Ford as Dipper and Stan were, but we did have our moments, he saw the fun chaotic energy in me that he saw in Stan when they were kids, so that's something.

With mourning Grunkle Ford, sometimes I'll have different ways of showing it, I mean it's only been a few days and I've been sewing hundreds of sweaters, but I know the one person truly stricken by it all is Grunkle Stan, and if I know Dipper, he would say the most important thing right now is being there for Stan.

Anne:  To be going back to all this inter-dimensional shenanigans after ten years is life changing, I mean, Marcy, Sasha and I could've just passed on this and continued on with our lives, but  looking back at my time in Amphibia, I knew I couldn't let some bully pick on those who can't fend for them selves, what I didn't bargain for was an eldritch god wannabe with a bone to pick on a pair of twins.

But had I passed on the initiative, I wouldn't get to know so many unique and quirky friends with very not so subtly familiar adventures to myself, I'm talking about you Luz. And better yet after ten years I reunited with a very dear friend of mine, so even with all the hardships of being uniquely gifted, it can pay off at times.

Luz: I've had my fair share of world ending battles, Day of Unity, Titan Belos, Archivist Conflict and now, The Chaos War, I'm used to the stakes at risk, and while it can be hard to face the possibility of someone close to you biting the dust, its their choice to engage in battle, like me, they too put their all in the face of it all, even if it could mean losing your life.

But what scares me now isn't the trauma or guilt from The Chaos War, believe me I'm accustomed to the baggage, but with everything off world being exposed to the humans of Earth, it opens a whole pandora's box of new problems and conflicts, especially for The Demon Realm, with the old tale of the Salem Witch trials, paranoia and superstition  can, and will, lead to a return of those days, and after everything I've accomplished there to have a good life, can come rolling down.

I'm going to be a Mom soon, and I don't want to raise them in a world in which days like the Salem Era reemerges once again.

Q: With off-world life being exposed to Earth for the first time, what's your reaction?

Star: Day one of me on Earth, it already happens, sure it was in a small town, but at that point, it was still on Earth, and for a bunch of humans, they took it in pretty okay, even though Marco and I would usually fight off some of Ludo's goons on a near daily basis. In fact they wanted to see my magic up close, so I don't know if all humans are like the ones in Echo Creek.

Marco: Well being one of the first individuals to experience this kind of fantasy up close was saying alot, given my prior personality as being an on the books, safe kid. But overtime, being with someone like Star had molded me into a better version of myself, the same flair for inter dimensional adventures like Star, even when The Cleaving happened, and I soon gained magic abilities of my own.

As for everyone else on Earth, take it from someone like me, who had skepticism and reservations for the type of energy this revelation can bring, you may find it scary or difficult to process, but in time you'll grow to appreciate what it all has to offer.

Dipper: Twelve Year old me desperately wanted to say everything, but then here's the case, Mabel and I were going to start High School, would the first thing we say is to reveal everything we did during summer, and I meant everything. The answer is obvious, no, cause even with picture proof, we lived in a day and age where even the most fundamental pieces of evidence can be dismissed as edited or doctored.

And secondly, we were told not to say anything about that summer to anyone outside of Gravity Falls, not even our parents. But Mabel went ahead and almost did the exact opposite of what our Grunkle Ford warned us, thankfully she didn't present the scrapbook with all those memories. Rumor has it, its still lying around somewhere in the rubble of the town, unharmed.

Mabel: As much of a nerd as Dipper is, he was right about stopping me from showcasing our escapes to our new classmates, cause it would've led to ridicule and torment. Which didn't matter, cause it still happened to us either way, but we had each other to get through high school.

Also, to those classmates in Elementary, Middle and High School who picked on Dipper or myself,  SUCK IT, CAUSE WE JUST SAVED ALL YOUR LIVES *proceeds to bring out a Mabelfied bazooka and launches it* I'M STILL THE GOD OF DESTRCUTION.

Anne: Thank you Mabel for that spontaneous affection of display. But to answer the question, it was kinda on and off, I mean The Core did invade Earth years ago, Sasha and I were there to save the day, with help from some Amphibian allies. But with a pardon from the government due to public damage, they also had to cover it up with all that spectacle being from a movie filming that went sideways.

So, after Marcy, Sasha and I returned back to Earth we were told if anyone asks about Frogvasion, we just say it was very realistic props in a movie gone awry, but to really throw the public off, they had to improvise a bit and actually film dummy scenes after the invasion and mix it in with the real deal to make it an actual movie.

It did well, not spectacularly, but pretty decent, and I still get royalties to this day, about......$650 worth, but that's now and again. Even entering High School, Sasha and I get compliments and praise for our "action" in the movie. So I guess the cover up worked.

Luz: I've already established this, but to further clarify, it's something I couldn't ever expect to happen, and now that it has I'm uncertain, all my life I've been bullied and picked on for my interests and hobbies, sure it isn't the normal pick for any child, but it made me happy.

The bullying continued to this day, and now that the whole truth is out there, does it change everything or does it change nothing? I can't be certain, my friends also have a tough road ahead now that everything is out, but I'll be with them every step of the way, and  vice versa.

Amity: I also had doubts of revealing ourselves to the world, but we've had some progress with a group of humans from a small town familiar to some friends of ours, it has paid off, but expanding it to the billions is another mammoth task. Some of you out there have your fears and doubts, and your right to do so, but we want this to work, if you allow us to do so, our world may sound dangerous just from the name alone, but with the right people by your side, you can accomplish many things.

And hey, magic is teachable there, so to any quirky and creative kids out there, there's a new hobby to learn.

Q: Any Offers or Perks offered since your heroics?

Star: Well the most common is movie offers, about our lives, but I had my share of poorly written depictions about me and my adventures, so I'd pass on that, but our team has gotten invites to formal events, so we'll consider some of those.

Marco: One thing Star forgot to mention is alot of entertainment studios want us to pick a franchise to revive or continue, like I get it, we saved the world, but to have that much influence is insane, and while it was hard to choose one, I had another idea I pitched......

Dipper: Honestly, the movie deals or gala invites tend to not interest me, but you know what does interest me........

Mabel: Unlike Dipper, the gala invites are tempting and hey, I can finally bedazzle the world with my creativity, with financial backing from a Northwest to go all out.

Anne: Some are interesting, but The Met Gala is once in a lifetime, who wouldn't want to go, but I wonder if Sasha and Marcy would be interested.

Sasha: Only if Anne wears what Marcy and I picked for her, and believe me, there will be alot of lip biting blushing from me and Mar-Mar.

Marcy: On one hand I'm not usually a big fan of the Met Gala, but on the other hand.........Anne, but also to finally wow people that gamers can also have creative fashion sense.

Luz: I mean some perks are better than other, but to have the chance to be in a Good Witch Azura adaptation is a dream come true, better than every other offer.

Amity: I am at a loss for words, to read about Azura and now to be in a movie about her, I'm smitten with glee, as Luz said, this beats everything else.

Willow:  I may not be an Azura or Cosmic Frontiers Fan, but if my friends love them, good for them, but something that interests me is being offered to induct something of my liking, but I can't choose between Plants or Flyer Derby?

Hunter: We only heard about Cosmic Frontiers from Camila, but we were hooked, even if it was very old human show, but now the creators want to relaunch the franchise and want us in a guest star role, but I feel guilty that Camila can't be part of the offer but I'll try to convince them.

Gus: Yeah, saving the worlds has it ups, but it doesn't feel right that Camila isn't here to bask in the dream, she's more of a diehard fan than Hunter or myself. We'll try to convince them to include in some capacity.

Q: This one is for Star and Marco, how's the twins doing?

Star:  Oh they're peacefully asleep at my folks place, cute bundle of joy they are, but something during the war happened, and well its a real sore subject right now for Dipper and Mabel, so I'll leave it at that, they've already been through alot, let them mourn first.

Marco: They're as cute as they can be, honestly being a first time dad is stressful, but with someone like Star by my side, the duty is a honor to commit to.

Luz: SON OF A BITCH!!! We were so caught up in the war my dumbass forgot you two are finally parents.........AND TWINS NONETHELESS!!!!

Amity: I'm sorry, Star gave birth to WHAT!!!!!

Willow:  Honestly I looked at Star when we reunited but the thought never crossed me that her pregnant stomach was gone, how is it now I just piece together she had her babies

Gus:  Good for them, and twins aren't something you wouldn't usually see often, although that's 3 counts of twins now, so maybe its more common than I thought.

Hunter: Well, like Willow, I too didn't realize the realization of it all, but I guess now all I have to say is congrats to the happy parents, although that's what Waffles is telling me.

Anne: I may have not known Star and Marco that much, but being the first parents in this new friend/team/"work" group is alot, I mean from what I've heard about them, which isn't much, they can handle the dual life, maybe, but I'll be here to help when they need it.

Sasha: Well at least I have two new clients to add when they are of age, that is if those two put them through the gauntlet, but I have good faith they'll try to do their best. Maybe.

Marcy: You think they can play games at this age or am I just pushing it for new gamers to induct. Eh, who knows maybe years from now.

Dipper: Twins, a boy and girl. Huh, talk about irony, we started all this, and those two could usher in a new era. I don't know why Star said this would be a sore subject for Mabel and I.

Mabel: I should get mushy with Star and Marco to be their designated babysitter, think of all the cute baby sweaters I can make, and who knows, give them a play with my grappling hook.

Grunkle Stan: SELL THEM ON EBAY!!!!!
