    Summary

    Jon Snow runs away at 15, leaving a hole in the heart of Winterfell.
    He returns three years later to save his family and the Royal visitors from a mercenary attack.
    The attack forces Eddard Stark to reject the role of Hand to the King, staying in Winterfell to deal with the aftermath.
    Instead, he sends his heir and his newly returned bastard sons to Kings Landing with his daughters.
