Ai was complaining about her pay check.
“This agency is reallyy stingy! Didn’t our last album rank like third? Why is the cut so low!”
Miyako answered her. “Only now are you complaining? Unlike the big people, were just a small agency. You came here knowing how low the pay is.”
“I just realized money is everything..” Ai sulked. “That’s quite a depressing realization.”
“I mean living like this is great, but it’s not just me.” She then picked up Yuki
“I want to take my kids to great schools and give them a awesome future. I need to give them opportunities, so I have to work harder or else I won’t be able to make them happy..” Ai sighed, put Yuki down, and headed off “Be good while mommy is gone!” She then closed the door. “Hey.. don’t idols make like one million yen a month??” Ruby added
“Really!!?” Yuki asked shocked, he knew very little about idols
“No, far from it! The pay is spilt among the members and multiple factors deduct from their pay. Only a few people actually make one million a month!”
“Huh?! Why isn’t the money going to the people who actually work hard!” a thought then went to Ruby’s head. “I know! All otakus can give Ai their livers and we can sell them!!”
“Your ideas are beyond insane!” Aqua argued.
“Hey manager!” Yuki yelled
“Why isn’t Ai getting any offers?”
“Do a better job with marketing and stuff!”
Miyako sighed. “That’s easier said then done you three.. when dealing with idol groups many people come together competing for jobs against solo entertainers. They will barely even get a job if they are selling themselves as a set compared to someone solo, you know? Ton of past idols don’t make it.”
“I don’t get it.” Ruby said
“Not fair” Yuki mumbled
“Tokyo is such a scary place..” Aqua sighed
“I admit that Ai is extremely talented, but it’s only within idol industry. In the entertainment industry, you won’t make it unless your unique. A job with good pay doesn’t want someone from ‘B-Komachi’, they want specific requests like ‘Ai’. Being good as a idol by itself, is not good enough.”
The triplets all sighed wanting their mom to earn some more.
*time skip*
“Woahh! A mini concert! You need to win like a ticket lottery to attend these!” Ruby squealed. “Now listen up you three, I brought you guys because you kept asking, but I will take the fault if the president finds out that I brought you here. No cheering, running, or speaking. Behave.” Miyako scolded. “She’s right” Aqua agreed “We can’t have people find we have any sort of connection to Ai.” Ruby sighed “I know.. i’m only here because im worried!”
“Liar..” Yuki mumbled
“What was that?!” Ruby yelled at him, but Yuki just stuck his tongue out at her.
“Today we have with us three members of B-Komachi!” The show had started.
Ai had once again left the triplets dumb struck. They started cheering for her and started doing a fan dance. They already knew when they got home they would be in trouble.
“2 million views.. I knew baby’s get viral easy but still!”
“Lets have a little talk..” Miyako got dragged into the other room by CEO Saito.
