Summary:

Percy Jackson loves his family. However, the majority of his mothers past in the wizarding world is unknown to him.

Her past is secret to him. His brother, Teddy, won't tell him more about their mother's past nor their red-headed relatives in England.

How will he react when his mothers past as the chosen one is revealed to the gods, his friends, and people from his mothers past?

Fem!Harry Potter x Poseidon

Watching the Movies

Notes:

This story is going to be dark. There will be mentions of suicide attempts, abuse, and maybe some depression.

The timeline and ages might be a little messed up, but I tried my best. My math isn't always correct.

I have a very rough timeline of the events, so I'm just going off that outline. I'm basically winging it because I'm so excited to just start writing.

Also, I apologize if the updates don't come quickly. Stuff in my life is picking up, and I have to write everything on my phone.

Let's just get into it. If you have any questions, let me know! Enjoy the story!

Chapter 1: Story Changes and Information

Chapter Text

Here is some information before we start the story:

This is a crossover story of the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and the Heroes of Olympus.

This is watching the movies and reading the books. They will be watching the Harry Potter movies. (They might read the Percy Jackson books after they finish with the movies.)

Percy was born in 2001 instead of 1993 and Harry/Amary was born 1980 like the original series.

This is a fem!Harry Potter (Euphemia Potter/Amary Jackson) x Poseidon.

I will be changing some key things in stories. Maybe.

Chapter 2: Cast

This chapter is optional! This is just who I imagine the characters as.

Chapter Text

Landing hard on a carpeted floor of an unknown room, Amary Jackson gets the wind knocked out of her. She looks around as she gets off the floor, she finds herself in a theater room. The sound of a groaning near her gains her attention.

On the floor are two familiar bodies lying on the floor. It's both her sons. As they start to get up, they notice each other before hearing heeled boots tapping towards them. They turn in time for their mother to wrap them in a hug, which makes them melt. She scans them over when she lets go. "Are you both okay? Do you know where we are?"

They look around, neither recognizing where they are. However, they do notice Percy's friends and two other groups that Percy recognizes, while Teddy only knows one group. "Mom." Percy and Teddy are looking over her shoulders, which makes her look to see two groups of people, which she recognizes.

Beside the group of Percy's friends stands the Greek gods, and near them in their own group are some people from Amary's past. Not limited to George Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, and lastly Draco Malfoy.

"Who dares test me?!" The booming voice of the King of Gods sounds through the room, making the majority roll their eyes at his obnoxious voice. Even if they are wondering where they are and what's going on.

The family of three is noticed at the edge of the room. A stampede of people coming rushing over, voices talking over each other, making a cacophony of sound.

"We can't understand you if you're all talking over each other," Amary tells the ones who came rushing over, which is mostly Percy's friends, George, Ginny, and Neville.

"Do you know where we are?" Neville kindly asks.

"I don't think any of us do, Uncle Nev." Teddy answers before his mom could. The word uncle coming out of his brother's mouth makes Percy pause.

"Uncle? We have another uncle?" Percy pears around his mother and brother to see a tall man with a soft face and smells like herbs.

"Right, you haven't met Neville yet. This is a friend of mine from school, Neville Longbottom. Neville, meet my son Percy Jackson." Amary gestures between the two while introducing them.

Percy chokes when he hears Neville's last name but keeps his mouth shut when he gets a glare from his mom.

"Jackson? When did you get married?" Neville questions. This makes everyone look at the two, especially a certain god.

"I'm not married, Neville. You would have been invited to the wedding if I had been." She chuckles at the man. A man relaxes at the answer to the question, glad that she's not seeing anyone.

Before Neville can ask another question, his mouth is covered by Ginny, knowing the oblivious man is heading into a dangerous territory.

Percy eyes between the three, knowing his mom and Aunt Ginny is hiding something. His attention is quickly caught by his friends. Teddy is talking with Ginny and Neville while his mom is speaking with the others.

George hugs Amary tightly as she hugs him back just as tight. This makes Poseidon eye the hugging pair as he reeks of jealousy. Making Hades roll his eyes at his brother's jealousy. The hugging pair separates, which lightens the man's jealousy only for it to come back full force when the two start whispering to each other.

Luna walks over to the whispering pair, "You're not going to like why we're here." Looking at Amary, which makes George and Amary share a panicked look.

"Can you tell me what's going to happen?" She looks at the dreamy girl in hope only for it to get crushed.

She only looks at the mother softly shaking her head, "Sorry." She walks over to join Ginny, Neville, and Teddy. The two watch her walk away before sharing another look. She looks over to the side to see a platinum blonde standing alone while watching everyone.

Taking a breath, she starts walking toward the lone man, which gains the room's attention due to the tension. She stops in front of him.

"Malfoy." She eyes him, his appearance didn't change much since she last saw him right after the war. The only thing is that he aged, unlike her.

"Potter." He nods towards the woman as he scans her as well, which makes purses her lips at the sound of the name. Percy is confused by the name and his mothers reaction. However, before he or anyone can ask, a note pops up between the two childhood rivals.

Being slightly closer to the note, Draco slowly grabs it before scanning the words. He looks up at Amary with a grimace, which worries her. He starts reading out loud for everyone to hear.

'Dear witches, wizards, and greeks.

We brought you here to watch the life of the chosen one. She rose up past those who held her back and called her names. She rose from the ashes and came out the one on the top.

You all will be watching the life of Euphemia Potter, the girl who lived. Watch her life and learn the secrets that she hides even from those by her side.

There is a reason why she never spoke of her past, and you are going to learn why.

Good luck, Euphemia Potter.

By the Fates.'

Amary looks horrified while those from her past look at her in sympathy as everyone else looks confused except for an underworld god.

"Who's Euphemia Potter?" Percy questions.

Taking in a breath, Amary turns to everyone, more specifically her son. "I am." This makes everyone look at her confused.

"I changed my name when I came to America to leave my past behind." She unconsciously reaches towards her scar, which makes the Greeks beside her son and Poseidon notice for the first time.

Ginny speaks up to get the attention off the uncomfortable woman, "Shall everyone introduce ourselves?" Making everyone nod in agreement.
"I'm Ginny Weasley, I'm a witch."

"So witches are real?" Annabeth questions.

"Yes, the Greeks would call them Hecate's blessed." Amary corrects. Annabeth nods at the new knowledge.

"George Weasley, wizard." Amary and George smile at each other, which makes Poseidon jealous.

"I'm Neville Longbottom, wizard."

"I am Luna Lovegood, I'm a witch." The blonde says in a dreamy voice, making Amary smile at the blonde girl.

"Draco Malfoy, I'm a pureblood wizard." This makes the Greeks confused by his introduction.

"Pureblood? What do you mean by that?" Athena questions.

Teddy answers the woman, "It's his blood status. It basically means he comes from a long line of witches and wizards."

"It will be explained more in the movies." Amary assures the goddess.

"Edward Lupin-Jackson, I'm a wizard. Please call me Teddy." Percy's friends are shocked that his brother is a wizard.

"Amary Jackson. I was known as Euphemia Potter, I'm a witch, and I'm the girl who lived."

Apollo gasps, gaining the attention of the room. He remembers the prophecy that surrounded a child and the dark lord. He gives her a sympathetic look, which makes the gods side eye him.

"Your mom's a witch?" Grover questions his best friend. Percy nods.

"The girl who lived?" Clarisse questions the woman.

"It will be explained soon in the movies."

"Percy Jackson, demigod, Son of Poseidon and Amary Jackson. I guess I should say Euphemia Potter instead." He looked at his mom.

"Just keep calling me Amary Jackson, I've been known as Amary for a long time now."

"You had a child with a god?" Draco questions the woman. Amary just nods.

"Annabeth Chase, demigod, daughter of Athena."

"Grover Underwood, I'm a satyr." The wizards nod at him while the witches give him a smile.

"Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus."

The sight of the punky girl makes Teddy and Amary think of Tonks, making the two share a small smile.

"Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades." The young boy feels the death magic coming off of Amary, which makes him confused. But warmth fills him when the woman gives him a soft smile like she knows what he's sensing.

"Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares."

The gods look between themselves before the sea god steps forward. "Poseidon, King of the sea, God of earthquakes, droughts, floods, and horses."

"Hades, King of the underworld, God of riches and the dead."

From the group that radiated power stepped a man. "Zeus, King of Gods, God of lightning and thunder."

"Hera, Queen of gods, Goddess of marriage."

"Hestia, Goddess of hearth, fire, home, and family.

"Demeter, Goddess of harvest and agriculture."

"Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty."

"Athena, Goddess of reason, wisdom, and battle strategy.

"Artemis, Goddess of the hunt."

"Apollo, God of music, poetry, and archery."

"Ares, God of war."

"Dionysus, God of wine and madness."

"Hephaestus, God of fire and metal work."

"Hermes, God of travel, thieves, and communication."

"Go find yourself a seat so we can get this over with." Amary says, ignoring the eyes of a certain sea god.

The people from the wizarding world all sit together while Amary sits near the front as Percy sits with his friends, and Teddy sits with George and Ginny. Someone is pushed into the seat next to her.

Looking over as Poseidon adjusts himself in the seat, he notices her looking at him. They stare at each other for a moment before he gives her a smile.

She turns away, watching as George and Teddy rush back to their seats. She shakes her head at the two troublemakers before looking back at the screen. Poseidon's smile falls at her dismissal.

This is Amary's first time seeing Poseidon again after years of not seeing each other. Her chest is still warm after seeing him smile at her. She glances at him to see him still looking at her, which makes her quickly look back at the screen. She feels his smile and happiness he's radiating.

Percy shakes his head at his parents' obvious feelings for each other before catching a glance at Annabeth.

The screen lights up, which gains everyone's attention.

"I'm going to bloody hate this." Amary makes herself comfortable to get through this nonsense.

Chapter 4: The End and the Beginning

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

[The screen opens up to a castle in ruin. A courtyard full of rubble and the sounds of running, yelling, and the castle crumbling.]

"This is the end of the story of the girl who lived." Amary's voice sounds through the room.

[Voldemort and his followers draw near. He looks upon the ruins of the castle and the beaten posture of the assembly on the steps. Hagrid has ropes tied to him with the death eaters leading him as he clutches a body.]

Everyone's breath catches at the sight of a body. Some connect the dots at the sight of the familiar dark head of hair. Wondering how she's alive.

[Everyone stops at opposite sides of the ruined courtyard. Voldemort looks upon those on the steps.]

"Euphemia Potter Is Dead!" Voldemort announces.

[The screen focuses on the body in Hagrid's arm. Theree lays Euphemia. Her arm limply hung by her side, her face pale and dirtied. Her eyes closed.]

The room is filled with a chilled silence. Everyone looks at the woman and her loved ones; Percy has tears in his eyes, Poseidon looks angry and devastated, and Teddy looks sad even if he knows she's okay.

Percy gets up and sits by his mom, hugging her tightly, and she holds him just as tightly. Poseidon rests his hand on her shoulder, making her smile back at him.

Percy's muffled voice sounds in his moms shoulder. She hums and pulls back. "What did you say, Percy?"

"Please don't leave me." His sad voice tugs at his parents' hearts, but his words make Amary tense up.

Having heard those very same come from her own mouth and the broken promise that comes with it.

George looks down, knowing exactly what she was thinking. Having heard the promise his twin told her only for it to be broken.

Amary shakes the thoughts out of her head and in disagreement, "I can't promise that Percy. I can try, but I can not promise that."

Her broken voice makes everyone wonder why she sounds so devastated except for those who know.

The family moment is broken up by Athena, "How are you alive?"

The Potter girl looks at the goddess and then the curious faces of those around the room. "Something happened, and I was brought back to life."

"What happened?" Annabeth leans closer. The kids lean closer, and so do Apollo and Hermes while the rest of the gods and goddess look interested.

"You'll find out at the end of all the movies, But it didn't kill me, and now I kinda can't die. Somewhat." She shrugs one shoulder while still hugging Percy to her side.

As expected, people throw questions at her with shocked expressions and wonder filled voices.

She holds up a hand, which quietens the room, "I'm not going to explain any more, so let's get back to the movie."

Everyone reluctantly settles down, while she shares an amused look with an underworld god, which some people catch. Figuring out that Hades knows what she's talking about.

Ginny runs forward, "No! No!"

[She's stopped by Arthur pulling her close and back to their side. Voldemort points his wand to the sky with a crack!]

"SILENCE! Stupid Girl!" Voldemort yells as he lowers his wand.

[Ginny is safely back on their side of the courtyard while Voldemort walks forward.]

"Euphemia Potter Is Dead. From this day forward, you put your faith in me."

[Voldemort walks between the two  sides.]

"EUPHEMIA POTTER IS DEAD!" Voldemort yells, making him and his followers laugh.

"Now is the time to declare yourself. Come forward and join us or die!" Voldemort stands looking at the side of light.

[There is silence in the courtyard as nobody  moves.]

"Draco…" A voice calls out. Lucius Malfoy gestures for his son.

Everyone looks toward the mentioned boy in the courtyard.

As does everyone in the viewing room. However, Draco just looks at the ground, not making eye contact with anyone.

[Draco looks up to see his father summoning him forth with a nod. He hesitates.]

"Draco. Come." Standing next to her husband, Narcissa Malfoy calls for her son.

[Her tone is quiet but absolute. Draco looks at his mother, then ducks his head and steps forward. Avoiding the glances in his direction as he crosses the gulf between the factions.]

"Well done, Draco. Well done." Voldemort awkwardly hugs Draco before sending him to his parents.

Glances are thrown his way in the viewing room, but those of the wizarding world don't look at him.

[Neville steps forward, blackened with soot with the sorting hat in hand. He limps to a halt in front of Voldemort, who looks amused.]

"Well, I must say I hoped for better." Voldemort's followers laugh at his comment towards Neville.

The viewing is in complete silence as the Greeks look at Neville, who sits with the others like they are a group.

However, before they can question things, the screen continues.

"Who might you be, young man?" Voldemort questions.

"Neville Longbottom."

[The death eaters laugh at the  teenager.]

"Well, Neville. I'm sure we can find you a place for you in our ranks."

"I'd like to say something." Neville rushes the words out.

[Voldemort studies the teen before  speaking.]

"Well, Neville. I'm sure we would all be fascinated to hear what you have to say."

[Neville turns to the others, their weary faces regarding him with confusion and suspicion.]

"It doesn't matter that Euphemia is gone."

This makes Percy and Poseidon angry at his words. But Amary is sitting as calmly as she can.

"Stand down, Neville!" The angry voice belongs to Seamus.

"People die every day. Friends. Family. Yes, we lost Euphemia tonight. But she's still with us, here-", He taps his heart, "And so is Fred and Remus and Tonks…and all of them. They didn't die in vain."

[Euphemia's face twitches while in Hagrid's arms as Neville says his speech.]

Teddy gets sad at the mentions of his parents while George and Ginny tear up at their brother's name. While Amary looks down at the names of her loved ones.

Those who saw her twitch on screen lean forward.

Ares prepares himself, feeling a battle come on.

"That is a good speech, Mister Longbottom." Athena praises the man.

Neville blushes at the praise from the goddess as he says a quick thanks.

They turn their attention back to the screen.

"But you will, because you're wrong! Euphemia's heart did beat for us. For all of us.."

"It's not over!" Neville pulls a sword out of the sorting hat. The Sword of Gryffindor.

[The light faction behind Neville backs away as Voldemort raises his wand to fire at Neville. They are interrupted by Euphemia throwing herself out of Hagrid's arms.]

[Voldemort and everyone is shocked by Euphemia's  survival.]

" Confringo! " Euphemia throws the spell at Nagini, but the spell ricochets off the snake and into the crowd of death eaters.

[Euphemia jumps through an archway and runs while Voldemort casts spells after her. Blowing up the walls behind her.]

[The two factions scatter, the light side goes back into the castle while death eaters start to escape and teleport away. Everything is in chaos of people escaping.]

Everyone is watching intently, as Ares is having the time of his life.

[Euphemia makes it to the doors of the great hall where Ron and Hermione are.]

"The snake! We have to kill the snake!" Euphemia tells the two while Neville  overhears, a  few yards away with the sword in hand.

"Euphemia! Look out!" Neville rushes out.

[Voldemort sends a spell her way, but Neville stands just in front of her brandishing the sword.]

[As the spell meets the sword, Neville is sent back into the hall from the blast while the others duck to avoid spells and his sailing body.]

[Everything is in chaos, as the scene shifts from a singular one to images and clips of moments.]

[The hall is filled with spells being sent back and forth through the hall.]

[A clip of Euphemia running through passages and stairways, Voldemort chasing her.]

[The scene changes again. Euphemia stands at the edge of part of the ruined castle, a great fall behind her.]

"You were right." Voldemort looks at her curiously as her eyes drift to the wand in Voldemort's hand.

"When you told Professor Snape it was failing you. It will always fail you." Euphemia continues.

"It belongs to me! I killed Snape!" Voldemort yells at the girl.

"But what if the wand never belonged to him? What if the wand's allegiance was to someone else?" She taunts the dark lord.

[Voldemort stares at her, confused. And suddenly, in this moment, it's Euphemia, beaten and bloody, who seems in control. She smiles, then presses even closer.]

Her voice is quiet and vaguely taunting, "Come on, Tom. Let's end this the way we started it."

She wraps her arms around his neck, "Together." She falls back, pulling them both into the void.

There is shocked silence filling the viewing room as they watch her and Voldemort plummet.

"You are absolutely crazy, Potter!" Draco says.

This only makes her laugh, "If you think I'm bad, I'm pretty sure Percy might be worse."

Said boy gives an affronted "Hey!" while his friends laugh.

Teddy tilts his head, "You both might be as bad as each other from what I heard."

The mother and son duo share a look, "Well, he is my son, It runs in the family. The penchant for trouble, horrible good luck, and messy untamable hair."

"It runs in your family?" Annabeth questions. Percy also looks curious about what she means.

"From what I heard about my father, he had a knack for trouble. Causing trouble and pranks with his school friends, who included Teddy's dad."

"Wait, I thought Teddy was your actual brother." Thalia questions.

"No, he's my God brother, but he's been with mom since he was an infant, so he's always been raised as a Jackson." Percy shrugs.

"Yes, Teddy's parents died in the final battle of the war, and I was named his Godmother by his father, Remus. His maternal grandmother was alive, but she died a few months after the war to grief."

A solemn mood settled over the room before it was broken by Amary speaking again, "But yes, from what I've heard about my father, you also have the untamable wild Potter hair." She smiles at her son.

"You're lucky you got your dad's eyesight because the Potter's are notorious for their awful eyesight." She pushes up her glasses further up her nose, making Percy laugh at his mom.

"Shall we continue with the movie?" Hestia's soft voice echos the room. Everyone nods as the screen starts up again.

[Euphemia and Voldemort crash into a courtyard on opposite sides. They start crawling to their wands. Getting up with their wands in hand, they send spells at each other.]

[It's a battle of will and power as the green and red spells clash. Between light and dark.]

Everyone sits tense, watching.

[The scene changes to Hermione and Ron running downstairs away as Nagini chases them.]

The scene on screen makes the wizarding people's breaths hitch, knowing the outcome of their battle with Nagini.

[Ron casts a spell at Nagini, which ricochets off. The snake goes to attack as Ron has Hermione wrapped in his arms, preparing for the strike.]

Tears are in the magic user's eyes, George is holding Ginny close to him, and Amary is trying to hold it together as she shakes. Which gains the attention of Poseidon and Percy beside her. The air starts to become colder, and a feeling of gloom starts to fill the air.

However, before they can even open their mouths, the screen starts up again.

[The scene cuts to Neville running up, and Nagini goes to strike him, but he slices through the snake with a yell. It turns to dust.]

[It shows Neville's devastated face as he looks past the screen. It changes to show Ron and Hermione, the new young couple laying bloody and limp in each other's arms, dead.]

The feeling of death creeps through the room, making everyone nervous, and the room is becoming as cold as ice, especially around a certain witch. Who sits unaffected by the cold as she starts sobbing.

Poseidon and Percy go to wrap their arms around the sobbing woman when Teddy and Hades rush forward. Both yelling, "Don't!"

Teddy yanks Percy away from their mother and holds him back away from her. Hades pulls Poseidon's arms back before he can touch her.

Amary takes a deep breath between her sobs, feeling the icy air in her throat. She looks up and makes eye contact with Hades, who steps forward.

He puts his hands on the sides of her head, black mist surrounds his hands and encircles her head. She takes a deep breath, calming a little as she feels her powers settle.

"What are you doing to her?" Poseidon asks in worry and anger, hoping his brother isn't hurting the woman he loves.

"Death magic responds to death magic." Hades says simply, the magic settling, the witch and God makes eye contact as she nods at him. Giving the God a quiet thanks before he goes back to his seat.

What he says rings through the gods' heads, making them wonder how a mortal got death magic.

The magic user's have since calmed down also, Amary's magic spill shocking them out of their grief and sadness.

[Voldemort, feeling the destruction of Nagini, stops casting his spell. Euphemia also stops looking back towards the castle, feeling it also.]

[Voldemort pauses in pain before sending his spell again and Euphemia countering him with vigor.]

[Euphemia keeps pushing her spell, completely overtaking Voldemorts. Making the elder wand soar through the air as Voldemort freezes. Euphemia catches the elder wand.]

[Voldemort slowly collapses as he turns to ash, the sun starts shining over the mountain range onto the  castle.]

"Let's take a break." Amary cuts in and stands up. The demigods quickly stand up and start walking around to calm their adhd.

Some doors show up on the walls, making everyone pause, the doors have labels both in Greek and English. The doors lead to bathrooms and a soundproof room.

Percy's stomach growls, which makes everyone look at him. He sheepishly smiles at everyone. Hestia creates a table full of food for the mortals as the immortals can just conjure their own food.

The kids rush to the food hungry first. Amary also joins them, always getting hungry after sobbing.

Once everyone has their food, everyone takes their seats. Percy sits by his mom again, she looks at his plate to make sure that he has a balanced plate.

She looks over at her other son, "Teddy." He hums, looking up from his food.

"What do you have on your plate?" The boy pauses before slowly showing his plate to her.

She gives him a look, seeing half his plate is chocolate sweets. He pouts, getting up to switch some of the sweets for actual food, grumbling the entire time. Percy snickers at his family while everyone else is amused.

The screen starts up again.

[The scene changes to show a cottage. The lights are on inside, you can see people moving about.]

Seeing the cottage her parents lived in makes Amary's face fall. She sets her plate on her lap.

"The beginning of the story of the girl who lived."

This makes the magic users stop eating, knowing the origin of the girl.

The others slow in their eating, noticing the tense mood.

[The inside of the cottage is shown, a handsome young man with wild and messy dark hair, warm brown eyes, and tilted glasses. He has a troublemaker smile on his face.]

Amary's breath hitches at the sight of her dad. She has a teary smile on her face, seeing her dad.

Some of the girls eye the screen, liking the look of this man.

The smile on the man's face reminds Percy of his moms and his own smile, the pieces clicking in his head who this man is.

"This is Grandpa, isn't it?" Percy asks his teary mother. His question gaining the attention of the room, who is also curious.

She quickly wipes her eyes before looking at her son, "Yes, that's my father. James Potter. How'd you know?"

"We both have his smile." He gives her a smile.

She shakes her head before giving him a smile back. The room can see the resemblance between when they smile, Amary looks a lot like her father normally, but when she smiles, it's obvious who her father is.

"Kelp head has good genetics. That's totally unfair." Thalia mutters to the others.

"Now Mia, if you don't tell Mama, you can have more, okay?" James holds up a piece of candy in front of him.

[The scene changes view to show an auburn haired little girl with round cheeks. Her green eyes  peering  up at her father as she reached for the candy with a cute little smile.]

"Aw, look at baby Euphemia!" George teases his friend. Said woman looks down with a blush on her cheeks, embarrassed.

Some laugh at the pair of friends when Percy notices something about the image of his mother as a baby.

"You're a redhead?" Percy questions his mother. She chuckles as she nods.

"Why aren't you a redhead anymore?" He questions. Looking at her dark hair.

"Your great-grandfather, Fleamont invented a hair potion to tame the wildest of hair, which Potter's are notorious for." Percy nods along, interested in his unknown family history.

"The potion has some side effects for redheads. For me personally, it turned my hair dark. I'm unsure if it has the same effect for all redheads. But if I stopped using it, my hair would go back to red. I think." She shrugs, unsure.

"Fleamont was an inventor?" Hephaestus questions.

Nodding, "He's most known for creating the Sleekeazy's hair potion, he later sold the company and furthered our families fortune."

"What about your other grandparents?" Hestia questions kindly.

Smiling kindly at the goddess, Amary continues, "My mother's parents are unknown to me, but my fathers mother is a little more known, but it's still not much."

Amary gives a cheeky smile to her son, which makes everyone curious, "Euphemia Potter was said to be a kind woman, but sadly her and Fleamont passed not long after my parents got married." She finishes with a slight frown.

"You were named after her?" Annabeth questions.

"Yep, my full name is Euphemia Amaryllis Potter. The flower name is from my mothers family tradition of naming girls after flowers. My mothers name was Lily." She has a bright smile on her face, which is about to be wiped off as the scene continues.

[A blurry figure comes into the frame behind the man. Euphemia's face lights up.]

"Mama!" The little girl's voice pitches.

[James snaps his head behind him, there stands a beautiful redheaded woman with her arms crossed and a pointed look on her face though the amusement is obvious in her eyes.]

James' face lights up at the sight of her as well, "Lily flower! We were just about to get ready for bed." He tries to give a convincing smile.

Everyone laughs at the man on screen, trying to get out of trouble.

"Nice try, James, but you can't talk your way out of this one. You got caught."

[James opens his mouth to speak when he and Lily both freeze. James rushed to the window looking out.]

Amary sinks in her seat, hating that they have to watch this. Poseidon grabs her hand and squeezes. She looks at their hands, then him and back at the screen, squeezing his hand in response.

"Lily, take Mia and go! It's him! Go! I'll hold him off!"

[Lily quickly grabs the little girl and starts up the stairs, pausing only for a moment.]

"I love you, James." She continues up the stairs with the little girl looking over her shoulder at her father.

[He gives Euphemia one last smile before they disappear up the stairs. He turns to the door as it explodes off its hinges.]

[Euphemia is sitting in her crib cuddled up to a stuffed stag, dog, and wolf. Lily squats in front of it, looking at her daughter through the bars.]

"Mia, Mama loves you. Dada loves you."

Amary looks away from the screen, tucking her face into Poseidon's shoulder, not wanting to see her parents die.

Sensing her emotions, Percy leans against her side. Feeling her son, she wraps her arm around him. Teddy gets up and sits on Poseidon's other side, which makes the man wrap his arm around the boy he loves as a son.

[The scene goes back downstairs where there is a flash of green  then  a thud sounds. Laying in the stairwell is James, his skin pale and his eyes void of life.]

Amary flinches at the sound of her father's body hitting the floor.

"Mia, be safe. Be strong."

[The hallway is shown as it leads to the nursery.]

"Mia, you are so loved. So loved."

Lily's soft voice sounds through the viewing room, making Amary tear up.

[Lily stands when the door opens, standing guard in front of the crib. A green lights up the room as Lily's screams.]

[It's followed by a thud as Lily hits the floor, her beautiful face is blank, and her green eyes dull.]

Amary flinches at the sound of her mother's scream, which haunts her and the sound of her body hitting the floor.

[A wand is pointed at a baby Euphemia who just looks up at it while holding her stuffed animals close. A green light fills the screen before it goes black.]

"It's done, mom." Teddy tells his mom softly.

Amary separates from the others and goes to the bathroom. Ginny and Luna get up quickly to follow her.

"Let's stop for now." George speaks with finality.

Chapter Text

Ginny and Luna enter the bathroom as the door creaks closed behind them. The far right of the two stalls is closed. As they get closer, the sound of muffled crying comes from inside.

The ginger and the blonde share a look, "Phemia, open the door." Ginny knocks on the door.

"No. I just need a minute." Her teary voice sounds from inside the stall, broke up by hiccups.

"Take your time. We'll be out here." Luna's soft voice comforts the mourning girl.

Ginny and Luna move over to the sinks. After a minute or two, the stall door creaks open, making them look over. Amary stands there, wiping the last of her tears, throwing her balled up tissue in the garbage as she joins them at the sinks.

"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to break down." Ginny uses her wand to clean up the tear streaks and ruined makeup while Luna gives the woman a side hug.

"It's quite alright, You haven't completely mourned." Luna's comforting voice sounded from beside her. Both women look at the blonde woman who sports a knowing look in her eye.

"What do you mean?" Ginny questions, looking between the two.

Amary is nervous about what Luna will say as she's always been bluntly honest. "Simply, she hasn't completely mourned due to raising the boys." This makes Amary tense up a little.

They both look to the dark haired woman to see her looking away from them, "I hadn't had time to cry while taking care of the boys alone, after a while I forgot to just let it out and mourn." She shrugs halfheartedly. The other two hug her tightly, which makes her tear up a little.

A knock on the door makes them pull it open to see George and Neville standing there, "We wanted to check on you." Neville says with a small smile.

"I'm doing okay, Nev. Thank you." She gives the man a smile, making him nod at her, glad that she's doing okay.

They all exit the bathroom, and Ginny, Luna, and Neville go back to their seats. George stands by her side for a moment before pulling her into a hug. She holds him just as tightly. "Are you alright?" He whispers to her.

"Not really, but I will be." She answers honestly.

He nods. "You know you're my sister even though you're not a Weasley by name. I worry about you." She just gives him a quick squeeze.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the room, Poseidon watches Amary and George hug with a frown on his face. Hermes and Apollo are snickering to themselves as they watch the jealous god, Hades and Zeus, spurring them on with their teasing remarks to the sea god.

"Better watch out, brother." Zeus says to the green eyed man with a smirk.

"Who knows what sweet things the man is whispering in her ear." Hades adds on with amused eyes.

Their words make Poseidon cross his arms and pout further, which makes smirks break out on his brothers faces and Hermes and Apollo smothering their laughter. Hestia says nothing to comfort her brother even if she can feel the familial bond between the two magic users. She enjoys her family being together and acting like an actual family.

Aphrodite squeals, seeing Poseidon's jealousy over the woman he loves. While Ares and Hephaestus look at her with soft eyes.

Thalia, Nico, and Percy shake their heads, watching their fathers acting like siblings and messing with each other. They share smiles, enjoying them behaving like humans instead of immortal everlasting beings.

A mischievous twinkle appears in Teddy's eyes, which Percy notices. Percy eyes his brother, wondering what he's planning.

"Don't worry, dad, Uncle George isn't even the one you need to worry about." Teddy innocently tells his father figure.

Poseidon whips his head away from the pair who is walking over to his pseudo son, who just looks at his dad with an oblivious smile on his face. "What?! Who do I need to worry about?!"

Ginny starts to laugh, followed by Apollo and Hermes, then Hades and Zeus. Soon, the entire room is filled with laughter at Poseidon's dismayed expression. George and Amary reach everyone else as everyone is still laughing.

"What's everyone laughing about?" Amary questions with a slight smile on her face, glad that her loved ones are happy.

"Teddy is being a troublemaker." Percy tells on his brother between his laughter. This makes the two look over at the boy who is being hounded by questions from Poseidon. The boy in question is laughing his ass off and ignoring Poseidon's questions.

"I want to know what trouble he's causing." George insists. Thalia, who is nearby, tells George, which makes him start laughing.

Amary doesn't hear what the immortal girl tells the ginger, "I want to know."

George shakes his head, "No way, I'm not telling. This is hilarious, and you will put a stop to it when you find out." Amary scowls at the man.

"Mom, you better stop dad. Teddy's not going to answer his questions, and Dad is trying to bribe him for answers." Percy tells his mother as he calms down from his laughter a little. They look over to see Poseidon trying to negotiate with the blue haired teen. Everyone started laughing even harder when he started bribing.

Amary just shakes her head and pulls Poseidon away from their son, "He's not going to answer you no matter what you offer. He's just messing with you." The laughter calms down, some a little upset at the fun ending.

Poseidon looks at the woman with hope, "So there isn't another to worry about?" This makes her confused about what he's talking about.

"What do you mean?"

"He told me that George isn't the man I have to worry about." Poseidon stares intensely at the woman.

"George? Man you have to worry about?" She tries to figure out what he means, but when it clicks, her cheeks flush red, understanding what they are talking about. Before remembering the first question, "Well, there's not really anybody to worry about anymore." The last word leaves her mouth sadly.

Hearing her tone, Poseidon didn't want to make her upset again. "I'm sorry, Are you okay after earlier?"

She looks into his eyes that show his concern and affection for her, "Not completely, but I will be." He nods before gesturing back to their seats as they are the only ones still standing. Everyone else was watching the two as their sons pretended to throw up from their seats. Percy is back with his friends, and Teddy is sitting with the wizarding people again.

[It is nighttime in Surrey , we  see an owl on the street sign "PRIVET  DRIVE"  and the camera pans to the street with very identical looking brown bricked houses. The owl flies away and an elderly man with crimson robes and a long silvery white beard named Albus Dumbledore walks out of a forest near the street, past a tabby cat standing next to what looks like a shed. He takes out his deluminator and activates it. Dumbledore zaps all the light out of the lampposts. He puts away the device and a cat meows.]

"I should have known that you would be here... Professor McGonagall." Dumbledore says while looking down at the cat.

[The cat silently looks at him, and the camera turns towards a wall. The cat's shadow turns into a woman with a tall hat and emerald robes. There are footsteps, and Minerva McGonagall is revealed.]

"Minnie!" George, Teddy, Amary, and Percy shout at the screen. Percy met McGonagall after he found out about the wizarding world. His mom wanted him to meet the professor. However, clearly, his mom and the professor had a discussion about hiding his mothers true identity.

"You all know that she would have all of your heads for calling her that after she told you not to." Ginny shakes her head at the four. While they just shrug.

"How did she shapeshift?" Athena questions, yearning for answers.

"We use magic. She's an animagi, so she's able to shapeshift into a certain animal. It's very hard to become one, but it's possible for everyone to become one except werewolves." Draco speaks up, having kept his mouth shut. Knowing he isn't on the best terms with everyone.

"Good evening, Professor Dumbledore. Are the rumors true, Albus?" McGonagall questions with teary but hopeful eyes.

"I'm afraid so, Professor. The good, and the bad." The hopeful look disappears from her eyes as her tears start to stream. She wipes them away with her handkerchief.

"And the girl?"

"Hagrid is bringing her." McGonagall looks at the man who stands beside her.

Amary realizes what day this is and what's happening, which makes her frown. Seeing her upset, Poseidon scoots closer until their shoulders brush against each other. They share a glance, which makes them both sport small smiles when they look back at the screen.

"Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?" She questions the man about his decision.

"Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life." He assures the woman about the decision revolving around the child of some of her favorite students.

[There is a motor sound, and the two professors look up to see a flying motorcycle coming down from the air. It skids on the street and halts. A large man with shoulder-length black hair and beard named Rubeus Hagrid takes off his goggles.]

The size of the man shocks the Greeks a little. "How is he so big?" Nico questions.

"Hagrid is part giant. He's very kind." Luna's dreamy voice answers the boy's question.

"Professor Dumbledore, Sir. Professor McGonagall." Hagrid nods to the two as he holds a bundle in his large hands.

"No problems, I trust, Hagrid?" Dumbledore questions the large man.

"No, sir. Little doll fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Heh. Try not to wake her. She wouldn't let go of her stuffed animals." Hagrid hands a baby wrapped in a bundle over to Dumbledore.

[The two professors look at the baby to see Euphemia holding tightly onto her stuffed animals as she sleeps.]

"You held tight to those stuffed animals." Draco comments.

"Yeah, they were my favorites, plus they were gifts from my parents and uncles. Then, they became one of the only reminders of my parents." Amary smiles at the thought of the toys.

"Me and Percy now have two of them as our own childhood toys." Teddy tells the room. Poseidon smiles, remembering the toys that were given to the boys when they were young.

"Who got which?" Thalia questions, curious. The others are also curious.

"I got the wolf." Teddy answers, thinking fondly on the reason he was given that one.

"While I got the stag." Percy answers, having assumed that his father was the reason he got that one.

"I kept the dog for myself. Each toy was given for a reason." Amary tells the others, Percy looks at his mom and wonders what was her reason for giving him the stag beside the obvious of his father.

Teddy knew why they were given certain ones, "There were certain reasons?" Poseidon questions.

She nods. "The wolf represents Remus, Teddy's father, so that one went to him. The dog represents Sirius, my own godfather. His animagi was a black dog. The stag represents my own father, James, who was an animagi. His form was a stag. Also, Poseidon was the god of horses, so it only seemed right to give you that one Percy."

They are all surprised by her explanation. But thinking about it makes sense.

"Albus, do you really think it's safe, leaving her with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. They really are..." McGonagall tries to convince Dumbledore.

"Muggles?" The Greeks question.

"Non magical people." Neville kindly answers.

"The only family she has." Dumbledore cuts her off. They stop outside a house,  which is 4 Privet Drive.

The sight of the house makes Amary and George frown at the sight of it, George only knows a little bit about her time in the house.

"This girl will be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know her name." McGonagall tries again.

"Exactly. She's better off growing up away from all that. Until she is ready." Dumbledore doesn't change his decision.

The Greeks remember the previous vision of the final fall of Voldemort and the beginning of Amary's time as the girl who lived.

[Dumbledore places the baby on the ground slowly. Hagrid sniffles. He is sobbing a little. He clears his throat. McGonagall dabbing her eyes with her handkerchief.]

"There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all." He consols the half giant.

[Hagrid nods. Dumbledore takes a letter and places it on the baby, who is now at the foot of the door.]

Dumbledore: Good luck... Euphemia Potter.

"Thanks, I'm going to need it." She jokes with a laugh. Teddy rolls his eyes at his moms joke.

[The baby has a lightning-bolt shaped scar on her forehead. The camera slowly zooms towards the scar, which glows brightly, and it immediately flashes, transitioning to a stormy cloud sky. The film's title in metallic gold zooms out around the camera, and lightning flashes to brighten it up. Then, the lightning flashes engulf the screen, transitioning it to the present time.]

"He Just Left You There?!" People yell towards the woman.

"Yeah, I guess. I don't actually completely remember this day. It's been so long, plus I'm pretty sure my brain blocked some traumatic memories." She just shrugs. They stare at the woman who just sports a slight grin.

Teddy shakes his head, knowing that sometimes his mom plays off all the stuff she's been through to avoid talking about it, which is why they never talk about her past.

Percy is shocked, not used to this side of his mom. It showed up when he found out about the wizarding world. There was a part of his mom that avoided talking about details of herself, which led into stories of her past.

Poseidon stares at the woman by his side, wondering just what she's been through. Apollo looks at her, worried about her mental health.

Chapter Text

[The scar's glow immediately dies down, and the camera pans to see Euphemia, who is now 10 years old, still sleeping. Then, the light turns on outside her bedroom cupboard under the stairs]

"Up! Get up!" Petunia knocks on her closet door repeatedly. "Now!" She smacks the door of the closet before walking into the living room.

Everyone is shocked, staring at the screen while Amary sinks in her seat, not wanting this to be seen.

George is horrified that he never knew it was this bad. He snaps his head at the shying woman. "Euphemia Potter." His serious voice echoed around the eerily quiet room.

Said woman just wants the world to swallow her whole, but she looks to her pseudo brother who looks angry and upset. "Yes?" She says in a sheepishly quiet voice. The majority hasn't heard her talk in that tone before. Only a few have, and most of them are dead.

George is one of them who has heard her talk in that tone, realizing that, he softens his tone now understanding some of why she acts a certain way, "Why did you never tell anyone about this?" He's so upset, but even he doesn't know just how bad it is.

"I-I don't know. I've tried while in the muggle world, but they never did anything, and I just got in trouble, so I just stopped." She just shrugs lightly, unsure about the situation. This makes people frown, especially the twin immortal protectors of children, wondering why they didn't step in.

Poseidon, Percy, and Teddy frown upset that she had to sleep in a cupboard. Draco frowns, knowing this wasn't anything like how he thought she grew up. He feels even more guilty about the way he treated people, especially her.

"Who was that woman?" Nico questions. This makes people also curious about who that was.

"My aunt, Petunia. She's my mother's sister." Amary frowns.

[Euphemia wakes up, turns on her bedroom light, and puts on her glasses with tape on the bridge, indicating that it was partly damaged. On her arm, there is a large bruise, the shape of a man's hand.]

Those who saw the bruise look shocked and horrified, having an idea of how she got it.

[A large, tubby boy, Dudley Dursley, suddenly comes running down the stairs above the closet. He stops halfway down and goes back, jumping on the staircase.]

"Wake up, cousin! We're going to the zoo!" Dudley shouts.

[Euphemia looks up to the joint works of the stairs with small amounts of dust rising. Dudley laughs, comes down the stairs, and runs for the kitchen. Euphemia tries to come out of the closet but is pushed back in by Dudley, hitting her head on the wall. Petunia is in the kitchen, where Dudley has gone.]

People shout at the boy while Amary just sits there uncomfortable. Poseidon, Percy, Teddy, and George are stewing with anger.

"Here he comes, the birthday boy!" Petunia cheers.

"Happy birthday, son." Vernon says.

[Petunia and Dudley giggle together. Euphemia comes into the kitchen, dressed in outgrown clothes.]

"Did they not give you any clothes of your own?" Aphrodite speaks up, noticing the clothes are those typical of a little boy.

Amary shakes her head, "No, they just gave me Dudley's old clothes to wear. The first time I actually wore a skirt was when I went to Hogwarts."

The wizarding people are shocked by her confession, "That was the first time?" Luna's soft voice speaks up. Amary nods.

"Why don't you just cook breakfast and try not to burn anything." Petunia says to Euphemia unpleasantly.

"How long have you been cooking?" Hestia softly asks the woman.

"Since I could reach." She gives the woman a soft, awkward smile.

Teddy and Percy wonder if that's why she always did the cooking for them, even if she did teach them how to cook.

"Yes, Aunt Petunia." Euphemia says quietly as she starts to work on cooking the bacon.

"I want everything to be perfect for my Dudley's special day." Petunia states.

"Hurry up! Bring my coffee, girl!" Vernon yells at Euphemia, who is rushing to place the bacon on the three plates.

"Yes, Uncle Vernon." Euphemia flinches, making her spill the hot coffee on her hand, making her wince.

People yell at the man, but everyone pauses when Euphemia flinches on screen, making her spill the coffee on herself.

"Has he ever hit you?" Artemis hesitates to ask the woman. Amary just stays silent while looking at the ground, not making eye contact with anyone, answering her question.

Teddy and Percy whimper, "Mom..." They quickly get up and sit by her, squeezing her between them. She holds them close to comfort them and herself. She hasn't seen or heard about the Dursley's in years, so she's extremely uncomfortable seeing her past with them being displayed in front of everyone.

Poseidon sat beside his mortal family, spewing with anger and pain. Wondering how dare they lay their hands on the woman he loves, even if he didn't know her yet. He makes eye contact with said woman when she rests her head on Percy's. She can see the anger and pain in his eyes, so she rests her hand on his arm and slightly pulls him closer. He holds his family close, reassuring himself that she's okay now.

Hades is angry. He actually likes Amary. She's never thought bad about him for being the god of the underworld and the dead. If anything, she's been kind like she knows the toll it has on him.

George and Ginny feel guilty that they never knew she was being hit, they know she's been locked in the house before as the twins and Ron have rescued her during her second year but they never suspect them of hitting her. Looking back, there were some signs, but Euphemia was good at hiding it.

Draco is horrified to find out that Potter was hit. His bullying and remarks didn't help her situation at all.

Apollo and Artemis share a look wondering why they did not step in.

[Petunia leads Dudley over to the family room, where there are a vast amount of presents. Dudley stares.]

"Aren't they wonderful, darling?" Petunia coos.

"How many are there?" Dudley asks.

"Count them yourself." Thalia, Percy, Clarisse, and Ginny say. They all share looks while Clarisse gives Percy a side eye.

"36. Counted 'em myself." Vernon proudly states.

"Congratulations, you can count." Dionysus says as he flips through his magazine.

"You've been watching?" Hermes asks the wine god.

"No." Dionysus states, not looking at the man. The ones who know him just shake their heads.

"36?! But last year... last year I had 37!!" Dudley shouts at his parents.

"How dare he talk to his parents like that." Hera sneers. Even the majority don't like her, they agree.

"And I thought I was spoiled." Draco states.

"You are spoiled, Mr. My-Father-Will-Hear-About-This." Amary says. The wizarding people, except Teddy, laugh, knowing what she's talking about. Draco turns red, embarrassed. Everyone else just looks at them confused.

"Err, yes, well, some of them are quite a bit bigger than last year." Vernon stutters.

"I don't care how big they are!" Dudley shouts.

"Oh, now, now, now. This is what we're going to do, is that when we go out, we're going to buy you two new presents! How's that, pumpkin?" Petunia coddles the boy, calming him down.

"Don't indulge him!" People shout at the screen.

"This will be a lovely day at the zoo. I'm really looking forward to it." Petunia says while walking to the car the next morning.

[Euphemia then goes to go in the car, but Vernon stops her, pointing his keys at her. Making her flinch back.]

"I'm warning you now, girl. Any funny business, any at all, and you won't have any meals for a week. Get in." Vernon sneers at the girl.

"How dare he! He didn't actually do that, did he?" Ginny asks her almost sister.

Now, no longer hugging her sons who are still sitting close, Amary's lips thin at the question, and she tilts her head back and forth, not wanting to answer her question, but her hesitation is answer enough.

"Growing children need their grains, it's very important to their growth." Demeter says while her brothers groan about her talking about it again.

"You're quite right. They are important." Luna's dreamy soft voice speaks from the other side of the room as the goddess as she nods along with the goddess as she rants.

Once she's done ranting, Teddy speaks up, "Mom. Is that why you would always make sure we're completely full?" His question gained everyone's attention. When the demigods think about it, every time they visit Percy's house, Amary will always make sure that they are fed and well rested.

Amary pauses before speaking, "Yeah, I wanted to make sure you both had what I didn't while I was there. A full belly, and not completely full of sweets." She pauses to look at Teddy who sheepishly smiles as people chuckle, "Someone to listen and feel safe with, someone to comfort you and love you, and I tried to avoid yelling but sometimes you boys are chaotic." They both sheepishly wince while people laugh.

"You did the same for me when I visited." Nico says. The other demigods nod except Clarisse, who's never met Amary before now and has only heard about her. Their parents give the woman a thankful look.

"I wanted you all to feel welcome. However, that's not strictly from my past with the Dursleys." Amary states.

"What do you mean?" Thalia questions.

"When I met Mrs. Weasley, she did the same for me. She made me feel welcome and she fed me and treated me like a daughter, all the while she yelled at the twins and Ron for stealing their fathers flying car and leaving in the night to come rescue me. The Burrow became like my home." She chuckles. George and Ginny smile at what she said.

People laugh at the thought of them getting in trouble for sneaking out and stealing the car.

[At the London Zoo, the Dursley family is in the reptile house, looking at a large Boa constrictor.]

Grover frowns, seeing the animal locked up in a zoo instead of the wild.

"Make it move." Dudley tells his father.

"Move!" Vernon taps the glass of the cage.

"MOVE!" Dudley taps the glass much harder, and Vernon nervously winces.

"He's asleep." Euphemia mumbles.

"He's boring." Dudley says while he and his parents head over to another enclosure. Euphemia is left with the snake.

"Sorry about him. He doesn't understand what it's like, lying there day after day, having people press their ugly faces in on you." The snake looks up and blinks. "Can you...hear me?" The snake nods.

"You can talk to snakes?" Hermes questions. Amary nods.

"How?" Athena asks while everyone else also looks curious, especially Hermes and Annabeth.

"Basically, it's a rare skill that witches and wizards can use but it only follows one bloodline but how I got it will be explained more in the second movie as it's a whole thing which causes issues for me." Amary nods. Ginny shivers, remembering that time, George pulls Ginny close, knowing that her time then still makes her uncomfortable.

"Does that mean I also have the skill?" Percy questions. Trying to think back to when he encountered snakes.

"Maybe, I'm unsure if you do and if I can even pass on that ability since I wasn't born with it." Amary states.

"Can you test it? What does it sound like?" Annabeth asks, with an excited glint in her eye.

Everyone else looks curious except Ginny, who looks uncomfortable. "If Percy wants to." Percy nods excitedly.

"Okay," Amary looks at Ginny, "Do you want noise canceling headphones?"

Ginny stands and walks towards the soundproof room, "I'm just going to go in there. Come get me when you're done." She closes the door behind her, when Amary turns back around the Greeks, and Teddy looks confused.

"Bad memories." Amary states. "Anyway, Percy, are you ready?" He nodded while the Greeks and Teddy leaned in. Teddy doesn't know all of his moms past, so he's very curious.

"Did your brother sneak into my room last night and take the chocolate that I hid from him?" The others are shocked by the eerie hissing coming from her.

Everyone looks at Percy for his reply while said boy glances at his brother, who makes eye contact with him. "No, Teddy was asleep before I was. Don't you remember, We all shared the chocolate the day before." Percy's voice is understood by everyone in the room, which makes them sigh, disappointed.

Teddy looks wide-eyed, knowing he's been caught. He thought he could get away with it, but it's hard to sneak up on his mom and Percy.

"Nice try, but I saw him last night. Don't cover for him." Amary says to Percy before looking at her other son, "You got caught. No more chocolate for a few days."

Percy winces, "Sorry." Teddy sighs and covers his face with his hands, which makes people laugh.

"Luna, can you get Ginny?" Amary asks. The blonde gets up and prances her way to the door.

Once they both get to their seats, "So could he speak it?" Ginny asks.

"No, but he could understand it." Neville tells her. Ginny nods, a little glad.

"It's just...I've never talked to a snake before. Do you...I  mean...do you  talk to people often?" The snake shakes its head. "You're from Burma, aren't you? Was it nice there? Do you miss your family?"

The snake turns its head in the direction of a sign, which says,  Bred  in  Captivity.  "I see. That's me as well. I never knew my parents, either."

"Did you compare yourself to a snake in the zoo?" Draco questions.

"Yeah, I was ten. What do you expect?" Amary raises her arms with a confused look. Percy nods, seeing her point.

[The now awake snake has attracted Dudley's attention. He comes over to the glass, elbowing Euphemia in the ribs, making her wince and knocking her to the floor.]

People shout at the boy on screen while Poseidon looks furious.

"Mummy, dad, come here! You won't believe what this snake is doing!" Dudley puts his hands on the glass wall. With his back turned, Euphemia scowls at him. Suddenly, the glass disappears, causing Dudley to wretch forward, losing his balance.]

"Whoa! Ahh! Ahh!!" Dudley falls into the snake enclosure with a shout, sputtering in a pool of water.

Everyone laughs. The boy deserves that for being mean and hurting Amary/Euphemia.

[Euphemia chuckles at what she saw. The snake gets out of the exhibit, stopping in front of her.]

"Thanksss." The snake hisses.

"Anytime." Euphemia replies, watching the snake slither off to the exit.

"SNAKE!" A man shouts. There are a lot of people screaming throughout the reptile house as the snake heads for freedom.

[Dudley gets up to get out, but the glass is now back over the enclosure. Seeing that he is now trapped, he pounds the glass in panic.]

"Mum, mummy!" Dudley shouts for his mother.

"AHH!" Petunia screeches when she notices him in the exhibit.

"Mum, help! Help me!" Dudley yells.

"My darling boy! How did you get in there?! How did you get in there? Dudley, oh, Dudley!" Petunia looks around for an exit.

[Euphemia sports a small smile which Vernon notices and glares down at her. Euphemia's smile disappears, knowing that she is in trouble with Vernon.]

"He better not do anything to you!" Poseidon says furious. Amary glances at him, then at the floor sinking down, knowing what's coming next.

They worry for the girl. They look towards the woman who is sinking in her seat. Glances are shared, knowing it's going to be bad.

George and Ginny share a look of worry for their sister. The gods and goddess glance at Poseidon's furious form and share worried looks.

Chapter Text

[Back at the Dursleys'. Petunia and a bundled up Dudley com e in.]

"It's all right, sweetheart. It's all right." Petunia assures a distressed Dudley.

[They walk in the living room. Euphemia and Vernon enter. Vernon slams the door and shoves her against a wall, taking her by her throat. She gasps as he squeezes.]

Poseidon shoots up from his seat with fury and rage covering his face. "HOW DARE HE!" He bellows.

His siblings shoot up from their seats to calm down the furious man. Poseidon stalks forward like he is going to climb into the screen and kill the man, Zeus and Hades use their powers to help restrain him while his sisters help, trying to push him back to his seat. Hestia releases her soothing aura to help calm him while they all try to talk him down.

Amary sits almost curled in on herself as she stares at the floor, highly uncomfortable. While everyone around her is angry and upset, she sits silently as she reflects on what her therapist told her. Their cruelty wasn't her fault. She was a child who only wanted to be loved and protected. It's not her fault. She repeats to herself, their hatred doesn't control her anymore.

"Mom..." Percy and Teddy whimper as they move and hug her between them. She looks at her sons, who have tears in their eyes. Her friends who are crying and angry. Her childhood enemy who looks pain at the sight of her getting her. The demigods look pained and have watery eyes. Even the gods look angry and upset.

She hugs her sons close and buries her face in their hair, glad that her past attempts failed.

At the sound of his son's voices and the words they spoke, Poseidon quickly calms down and looks to his small family. He quickly wraps his arms around them, holding them tightly, with Percy squeezed between his parents. Reassuring himself that man will never lay a hand on her ever again, he just has to wait till they get out of there to make him pay.

George and Ginny are sitting angry and upset for their sister. They want to say something but know her answer so they just stay quiet.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Vernon screams in the girl's face.

[She opens her mouth to answer but can't, clawing at his hand to get air. He lessens his grip as she takes a deep breath and coughs as tears stream the side of her face.]

"I swear, I don't know!" She splutters, which makes Vernon snarl at her. She shakes in fear and confusion. "The glass was just gone! It was like magic!"

[Vernon scoffs at this, letting go of the girl watching as she falls to the floor and holds her neck, still coughing and taking deep breaths. He grabs hold of her auburn hair, which makes her whimper, dragging her to the cupboard under the stairs. She's shoved inside, hitting her head on the wall, and the door is slammed after her.]

Percy, Poseidon, Teddy, and George growl at the screen, holding back their fury. George has to hold back Ginny so she doesn't destroy the screen. Luna and Neville comfort each other while the kids have to hold back Clarrise and Thalia from also destroying the screen.

"There's no such thing as magic!" Vernon yells as he blackens out the vent on the door.

[Euphemia rubs her neck as she goes to curl up in her bed, holding her stuffed animals tightly to her chest.]

[An owl flies into view and lands itself on a TV aerial on one of the houses' roof]

[The camera slowly pans up to reveal Dudley in his smartest school uniform, posing and smiling grandly.]

Those who are watching cringe at the uniform while Aphrodite shakes her head at the outfit, not approving.

"Awww, smile." Petunia takes a photograph of him. She gasps in joy. "Vernon, just look at him. I can't believe it. In just a week, you'll be off to Smeltings."

"Caveat Smeltona . Proudest moment of my life." Vernon grins at his family.

[Euphemia quietly watches the family, her neck healed from when Vernon choked her. Petunia notices Euphemia standing off to the side, watching them.]

"You will be going to the state school where you belong." Petunia sneers at Euphemia, who shrinks at the attention of the family. The woman goes to the kitchen and fishes out a gray shirt in a boiler. "And this is what you're gonna be wearing when I've finished dyeing it."

"It won't fit me." Euphemia quietly says to her aunt.

"It'll fit you well enough. Go get the post." Euphemia then heads to the hallway. "Go!" Petunia shouts after her.

[Euphemia leaves the living room area into the hallway and picks up some letters, one of which had her name on it with her address of where she slept. Uncle Vernon and Dudley sit at the table while Aunt Petunia is busy fixing breakfast. Euphemia walks in with the mail and hands it to Uncle Vernon, then walks to her seat with her letter.]

"They knew?!" People shout. Amary shrugs, not knowing the answer.

"Self writing quills." Luna's soft voice echoes, which makes people look at her and see Draco nodding along with her.

"Because there are so many students, they use self writing quills." Draco gives more information.

"Oh, Marge is ill! Ate a funny whelk." Vernon says after reading a postcard.

"Should have killed her." Amary's voice is heard by everyone as she scowls at the thought of the vile woman.

Her answer surprises everyone as she's typically a nice person unless they really do something to make her hate them.

Her answer makes the Greeks think that Percy is a lot more like his mother than they believed.

[Dudley suddenly notices Euphemia's letter and runs to grab it from her.]

"Dad! Look! Euphemia's got a letter!" Dudley shouts, giving it to his father.

"Give it back. It's mine." She raises her voice for the first time in a while.

"Yours? Who'd be writing to you?" Vernon sneers at the girl.

"The entire wizarding world!" The witches and wizards shout at the screen. This shocks the Greeks, it was said that she was famous but not how famous.

They look towards said woman who is just holding her sons close and cringes at the reminder of her fame.

[The family gathers to look at the address. There is a broken seal on the letter. The family looks  up and  Euphemia gulps in fear. Much later, another owl flies by with a letter and drops it off. Inside, Vernon grabs a handful of letters and rips them up. In the closet, Euphemia is playing with her stuffed animals and hears a whirring noise. She looks out at  Vernon drilling  wood over the letterbox opening.]

"No more mail through this letterbox."

[She just quietly closes the cupboard door. The next day, Vernon and Petunia are outside the door. Vernon is about to head off to work. Petunia kisses his cheek.]

People gag and look away from the screen while Aphrodite purses her lips, looking at the couple on screen with narrowed eyes.

"Have a lovely day at the office, dear." Petunia stops, looks, and sees a bunch of owls.

"Shoo! Go on!" Vernon shoos away the owls.

[She notices something and pats Vernon on the shoulder to get his attention, and what they see is more letters addressed to Euphemia.]

[Later, Petunia is cracking an egg into a bowl, and what instead comes out is a folded-up letter. She cracks another one, but another letter comes out as well. She then cracks yet another one, but the same happens again. She stares at the letter, and then she hears the owls screeching. She draws her attention to the outside of the window, and what she sees is four owls sitting on some garden chairs. Petunia then screams and runs off.]

Everyone starts laughing at her fear.

"I love Minnie. She sure is determined." Teddy says between laughs.

[Much later, Vernon is tossing letters into the fireplace. Euphemia comes around the corner. Vernon grins evilly and tosses more in. The scene fades to the next day, the family is sitting around, and Euphemia is serving cookies.]

"She's not a house elf!" Ginny yells at the man on screen.

"What's a house elf?" Annabeth questions before her mother could, which makes the goddess give her daughter a small smile.

"A house elf is a magical being who is devoted and loyal to their master. Quoting a house elf who later became my own, 'Kreacher lives to serve the noble house of Black.' House elves are extremely devoted to the master that they serve, even to the point of death." Amary tells them.

Her answer reminds Draco of what happened to his own family house elf, "However, the elf can have loyalty's to multiple people. For example, my families house elf, Dobby, ignored orders and set about to save Potter multiple times despite the plan my own father set forth." Draco frowns at the last part.

This make the witches and wizards frown except from Teddy, who doesn't exactly know what they are talking about.

"Fine day Sunday. In my opinion, it is the best day of the week. Why is that, Dudley?" Vernon asks his son.

"Because there's no post on Sunday?" Euphemia quietly answers as she hands a cookie to Vernon when Dudley shrugged and didn't answer.

Having heard her, "Ah, right you are, Euphemia. There is no post on Sunday. Ha! There are no blasted letters today. No, sir. Not one single bloody letter, not one." Euphemia sees a shadow outside the window. Outside, millions of owls are perched. "No, sir, not one blasted,  miserable-"

[As Vernon was talking, a letter shoots out of the fireplace and zips across Vernon's face, cutting him off. There is a rumbling, and then millions of letters come shooting out of the fireplace. The family shrieks in horror as Euphemia watches in amazement.]

"AHH! Make it stop! Please make it stop!" He jumps on Petunia's lap as she and Vernon continue screaming. "What is it? Please tell me what's happening!"

[Euphemia jumps onto the coffee table to grab a letter. She gets one and starts to run away. Vernon jumps up as well.]

"Why didn't you get one from the ground?" Neville kindly questions the woman.

Amary opens her mouth to answer but realizes she doesn't have one, so she shuts her mouth and shrugs, which makes people chuckle, including Percy.

"I don't know why you're laughing Percy, you've done something like that before." Grover tells on his best friend, which makes people laugh even harder. Percy looks at his best friend, shocked that he exposed him.

Amary squeezes Percy, "Don't worry, Percy, you are, after all, my son." He smiles at his mom, glad to find out more about his mom. As is Poseidon.

"Go away! Ahh! Give me that! Give me that letter!" Vernon chases Euphemia and grabs her before she can get into her closet.

[Euphemia shrieks and fights to get free as Vernon restrains her as several letters begin to shoot everywhere around the house.]

Vernon yells, "They're my letters. Let go." Euphemia sternly tells the man as she continues trying to get free.

[The wood plank nailed in front of the letterbox finally breaks from the excess pressure of the letters shooting through the letter.]

"That's it! We're going away! Far away! Where they can't find us!" Vernon shouts, having enough.

"Daddy's gone mad, hasn't he?" Dudley questions his mother. Petunia watches with a horrified look on her face, knowing that Dudley may be right.

"He's always been mad in the head." Amary jokes, which make a few chuckle.

"Shall we take a small break?" Neville asks. Everyone agrees, getting up from their seats.

Chapter Text

Everyone is walking around and just chatting while the demigods stretch their legs and talk. Poseidon and Amary stood off to the side as he wanted to talk to her.

Amary looks up at the god, wondering what he wanted to speak about, glances are thrown at the two by everyone in the room, especially their sons, her brother, and a love goddess.

Poseidon admires her for a moment. He remembers the first time he met her. She still looked the same as the first time he laid eyes on her. Those green eyes that he always found beautiful, a little upset that their son got his sea greens instead of her meadow green. She brought along a son with her and gifted him another one. He's a little upset that she declined the sea palace the first time because of their sons, but maybe now that they have grown up more, she will accept his offer.

Aphrodite is holding back her squeals, feeling the amount of love oozing out of the sea god for the half mortal witch. She promises herself that they will end up together. Hestia is smiling at the love of family coming for both parents.

The weight of Poseidon's eyes on her makes her cheeks flush, he looks at her still like the first time he's seeing her even after all those years and her appearance changed over the years of raising troublemaker boys and the result of time. She still looks much younger than her age, but the wear of motherhood is still present on her with her smile lines and more shapely figure from their son's birth.

"Have you always been hurt by them?" Poseidon quietly asks her. Amary sighs, having a feeling that's what he wanted to talk about.

"Mostly, It started when I was young. I don't want to talk about this Poseidon." Amary shrugs off the feelings of thinking about her past even when she's gone to some therapy.

Feeling that she won't say anymore about the subject, he gives her a promise. "Okay, however, when we get out of here, I will make sure that they pay for what they did to you. For the pain and suffering that you suffered by their hands."

Amary grabs Poseidon's hand before he can leave, "No." Her voice stern, which gains his attention, and he glances at her hand in his, holding hers back.

"I don't want anything to do with them, to hear about them, to see them, to even think about them anymore. I left all of that behind for a reason. Nor do I even want you or the boys to be around them." Amary tells him, knowing that they can take care of themselves but wanting the Dursley's far away from her new life.

Poseidon frowns, moving closer to where he's only a foot away, "They can't just get away with hurting you." He squeezes her hand, looking around her face.

"They aren't. Last I heard, their lives were going pretty badly, so I believe Nemesis went after them." Amary jokes, which makes Poseidon smile a little before it falls.

Realizing he's not entirely let it go, she squeezes his hand and steps closer. There they stand chest to chest, "Poseidon, please." Amary looks at him with hopeful eyes, and he sighs, nodding in agreement.

A smile stretches her lips, which makes him look at them. She goes to step back, but Poseidon moves forward and wraps his arms around her in a hug, and she hugs him back.

Amary's head is turned away from everyone, leaning against Poseidon's chest while Poseidon is faced towards everyone. He see's people passing money to each other and people laughing and groaning as they either win or lose money. Percy, George, Apollo, and Zeus glare at Poseidon for making them lose their bets. While Teddy, Ginny, Athena, and Hades give the god a grin in thanks for making them win.

Poseidon starts laughing, which makes Amary pull away, and everyone start going back to what they were doing before, Amary looks around just to see people chatting, and Poseidon tries to stop laughing.

"What's so funny?" Amary as the laugh god confused. He just shakes his head before leading her back to their seat. Everyone else followed their lead and took their seats again.

[That stormy night, a tall house, on a rock island somewhere out at sea. The Dursleys, including Euphemia, have moved there due to the chaos with the letters. The family is sleeping, with Euphemia on the cold, dirt floor, and Dudley sleeping on a sofa. She has drawn a birthday cake which reads, Happy Birthday Mia. She looks at Dudley's watch, which beeps 12:00.]

"Make a wish, Mia." She whispers to herself. She blows the "candles" on the drawn birthday cake.

The mood becomes sullen at how she's spending her birthday. It makes sense to Teddy and Percy as to why she was always so insistent about celebrating their birthdays because she didn't celebrate her own.

George and Ginny were wondering if this is why she was excited and surprised when their family started celebrating her birthday as well.

[Suddenly, the door thumps, in sync with the thunder flashing. Euphemia jumps. The door thumps again, and Dudley and Euphemia jump up and back away. She whimpers at the thuds. She hides behind a wall, and Dudley cowers on a windowsill.]

The sudden sound makes multiple people jump, including some of the gods, as they were not expecting it. People lean forward, curious as to what's going on, especially Ares, who's expecting a fight.

Petunia and Vernon appear, with Vernon holding a double barrel gun. "Who's there?! Ahh!" Vernon shouts at the door.

"He has a gun!" People shout horrified that the man has a gun, especially with his violent and abusive nature.

[The door bangs again and then falls down, and a giant man appears. As he comes into  the clear  lighting, the giant man himself is revealed to be Rubeus Hagrid.]

George and Teddy cheer for the man, as Amary, Ginny, and Neville laugh at them.

The Greeks are confused, so Neville explains, "Hagrid is a good friend of Euphemia's." Amary nods along with his explanation.

"Hagrid reminds me a lot of Tyson, very friendly and oblivious." Amary tells the Greeks, which makes more sense to them.

"Who is Tyson?" Draco questions at the unfamiliar name, having been keeping his mouth shut.

"My half brother." Percy tells the wizards who look bewildered between the boy and his parents. George and Ginny look at Amary, wondering if she had another kid.

Picking up on their thought process, "Tyson is one of Poseidon's sons, he's a cyclops and younger than Percy, so he's very childlike." Amary speaks fondly of the cyclops whom she adores for his want to protect Percy even if Percy's older, and she adores his innocent nature.

"Sorry about that." Hagrid apologizes before he puts the door back up.

Vernon aims his gun at the large man, "I demand that you leave at once, sir! You are breaking and entering!"

[As Petunia quietly gasps in fear, Hagrid grabs the gun and bends it upwards.]

"Dry up, Dursley, you great prune." The gun fires upwards, blasting a hole in the ceiling, causing the two to shriek in fear.

People laugh at their fear of the large man.

Hagrid notices Dudley. "Yeh'n not Euphemia, Where is she?" Hagrid questions the scared boy.

Dudley: "I-I-I'm not Euphemia." Dudley stutters scared.

"Obviously not." Dionysus says, flipping through his magazine, everyone else just continues on.

"She could never be like you. She is too kind." Poseidon states with confidence.

His words make Amary think back to her dark moments where she was willing to hurt people, and she pursed her lips and continued watching.

Euphemia reveals herself hesitantly, "I-I'm here."

"Well, of course you are! Got somethin' for yeh. 'Fraid I might have sat on it at some point, but I imagine it'll taste fine, just the same. Ahh." Hagrid hands her the cake.

"Baked it myself, words and all. Heh." Hagrid proudly tells her. Euphemia opens the cake, which reads "Happee Birthdae Euphemia" in green frosting.

"My very first birthday cake!" Amary smiles, happy at the thought of it even if she didn't eat it. Her words make people sad that she got her first birthday cake at eleven.

"Thank you!" Euphemia excitedly thanks the man, never having a birthday cake before.

"It's not every day that yer young woman turns 11, now is it? Aye?" Hagrid tells the girl.

[Hagrid sits down on the sofa, takes out an umbrella, and points it at the empty fire. Two sparks fly out of the umbrella and start a fire. The Dursley family gasps.]

"Excuse me, who are you?" Euphemia shyly asks when she puts down the cake.

"Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. O' course, yeh'll know all about Hogwarts." He states to the confused girl.

"Sorry, no." She denies, confused, wondering if she's just dumb.

Her loved ones deny that she's dumb especially considering her home situation, Percy is insistent that she's not dumb as she always reassures him that he's not dumb or stupid.

"No? Blimey, Harry, didn't you ever wonder where yer mum and dad learned it all?" Hagrid questions the girl.

" Learnt  what?" Excited to know more about her parents but also extremely confused.

"Yer a witch, Euphemia." Hagrid tells her.

Euphemia looks hurt and confused, "Um- that's not very nice." She shyly tells the man, she thought he was nice before he called her a witch.

"Not like that, an actual witch. And a thumping good one, I'd wager, once yer trained up little." Hagrid tells the girl who is still confused.

"No, you've made a mistake. I mean, I can't be... a-a witch. I mean, I'm just... Euphemia. Just Euphemia." Euphemia denies.

"Hi, Just Euphemia!" George greets while people chuckle at him. Amary shakes her head at him with a smile on his face.

"Well, Just Euphemia. Did you ever make anything happen? Anything you couldn't explain when you were angry or scared?" Hagrid questions. Euphemia softens her expression, realizing. "Ah."

[Dudley whimpers. Hagrid hands Euphemia the same letter that has been sent the past while. She opened it and she began to read, excited.]

"Dear, Ms . Potter. We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Euphemia reads out.

"She will not be going, I tell you! We swore when we took her in, we'd put a stop to all this rubbish!" Vernon shouts at Hagrid.

"You knew? Why did you never tell me?" Euphemia questions, hurt as she moves away from Vernon.

Petunia: "Of course we knew. How could you not be? My perfect sister being who she was. Oh, my mother and father were so proud the day she got her letter. "We have a witch in the family. Isn't it wonderful?" I was the only one to see her for what she was. A freak! And then she met that Potter. And then she had you, and I knew you would be the same.  Just  as strange, just as... abnormal. And then, if you please, she went and got herself blown up! And we got landed with you." Petunia spits out with venom, Euphemia looks upset at her word about her parents.

"Blown up? You told me my parents died in a car crash." Euphemia tells her aunt with a raised voice that's full of hurt, moving even further away.

Everyone is shocked. That's how she found out about her parents death, some also notice she keeps moving away from the Dursleys.

"That's how you found out?" Neville questions. Amary nods at his question.

"A car crash? A car crash killed Lily and James Potter?!" Hagrid exclaims, shocked.

"We had to say something." Petunia brushes off her sister's death.

"How about the truth?!" People shout at the woman on screen.

"It's an outrage! It's a scandal!" Hagrid yells, angry and shocked.

[As the Dursleys argue with Hagrid, no one, including Euphemia, is noticing Dudley taking Euphemia's cake away]

"She'll not be going!" Vernon yells.

"Oh-ho-ho, and I suppose a great muggle like yerself's goin' to stop him, are yeh?" Hagrid gets in Vernon's face, who backs away.

"Muggle? What is that?" Euphemia quietly questions herself.

"Non-magic folk." Hagrid tells Euphemia calmly when he hears her. He immediately draws his attention back to Vernon and Petunia in anger. "This girl's had her name down ever since she  were  born!"

The wizards are shocked by that, "Since you were born?" Draco questions shocked.

This makes the Greeks curious, "Why is that important?"

"Because your name is written down the first time you do magic." Ginny explains. This makes more sense as to why they are shocked.

Amary chuckles, "Percy was the same way. The moment he was born, the sink in the bathroom broke."

Grover jokes, "Supreme Lord of the Bathroom." Which makes Annabeth, Grover, and Percy laugh, and Clarisse glares daggers at Percy.

As Hagrid was talking, Dudley was munching on Euphemia's cake. "She's going to the finest school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world, and she'll be under the finest headmaster that Hogwarts has ever seen: Albus  Dumbledore. "

[Euphemia looks confused upon hearing Dumbledore's name.]

"I will not pay to have some crackpot old fool teach her magic tricks!" Vernon yells. Hagrid whips out his umbrella and points it at  Vernon, threateningly .

Amary shakes her head, "You shouldn't have said that." The wizard and witches agree, everyone knowing how loyal Hagrid is to Dumbledore.

"NEVER – INSULT – ALBUS DUMBLEDORE – IN FRONT OF ME." Hagrid shouts at the muggles.

[Hagrid finally sees Dudley eating Euphemia's cake and aims his umbrella at his buttock. He fires a magic spark at it, causing a grey tail to grow.]

"Ahh!" Dudley shrieks. The Dursleys shriek in both fright and horror as they run off out of sight. Euphemia quietly chuckles at this, and so does Hagrid.

Everyone burst out laughing at the act and reaction of the tail. It takes everyone a moment to calm down.

"Oh, um, I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone at Hogwarts about that. Strictly speaking, I'm not allowed to do magic." Hagrid shyly asks the girl who wears a smile on her face for the first time in a while.

"Okay." Euphemia nods, agreeing to keep this secret for Hagrid.

Hagrid checks his pocket-watch. "Ooh, we're a bit behind schedule. Bes' be off." He goes off to the door and pulls it down again before stepping out. He turns to Euphemia. "Unless you'd rather stay, of course. Hmm?" He asks the girl.

[He walks out. Euphemia grins, looks back at the direction where the Dursleys are gone, and grins again before grabbing her jacket and  stuffed animals and joins Hagrid on their journey to London.]

"Why did you hesitate?" Artemis questions her as the goddess of children along with her brother.

"I guess because I didn't know how that would have turned out, and as exciting as it was, I didn't know Hagrid, but I decided to risk it." Amary confesses.

Her answer makes a lot of sense to everyone, and they nod along with the logic of it.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry, this chapter is crappy. I wrote this chapter the same day as the Heroes one.

Amary pretty much has Poseidon wrapped around her finger. It will become even more prominent throughout the story. I love it so much.

The fact that Euphemia was so excited to get her very first birthday cake even if she couldn't eat it. She's so cute.

If you have any more trigger warnings for me to put up for this chapter, please let me know.

How are you liking it so far? If you have any recommendations, then let me know.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Chapter Text

[The next day, in the streets of London. Euphemia and Hagrid are in the underground tube.]

"First year students will require: three sets of work robes, one wand." Euphemia quietly reads the list. She turns to Hagrid in confirmation.

"Essential bit of equipment, Euphemia." Hagrid tells the girl when he hears her quiet voice.

"One pair of dragon-hide gloves." She turns to Hagrid again, quickly, "Hagrid, does this mean dragons are real?" Her voice expressed her excitement at the possibility of dragons being real.

Her excitement makes people chuckle at the innocence and curiosity that she displays, knowing she couldn't express herself while living with her vile relatives.

Poseidon smiles widely at the adorable young version of the woman he loves. He wonders if they ever had a daughter if she would act and have the same excited look that Amary had. The thought makes a thrill go up his spine at the thought of another child with Amary, especially a little girl who looks Amary.

He glances at Amary, who is looking at her younger self with a smile, remembering her excitement and curiosity of going into a new world.

Amary, feeling eyes on her, glances to the side to see Poseidon staring intently at her, which makes her blush. She looks back at her younger self on screen as her thoughts drift to the idea of a little girl, unknowingly picking up on Poseidon's train of thought.

Percy and Teddy look at their mom on screen, having only seen glimpses of moments like this where her excitement and curiosity have shown through to adulthood. She's been so busy during their childhood protecting and caring for them that she didn't have much time for her own learning and curiosity. With a push from both of them, she only recently started on her business.

George sadly looks at the girl on screen who's excited and curious then at the woman she became, he had to watch over the years as that excitement, curiosity, and innocence was killed in order to survive. His sister had almost lost her entire family twice, her future with both her school sweethearts lost to death.

"They are. Heh. Crikey, I'd love a dragon." Hagrid tells the excited girl whose eyes shine at the fact of a reality with dragons.

Euphemia gazes at the ceiling daydreaming, "I'd love to see a real dragon."

"I have since seen dragons from that moment." Amary informs

"When?" Nico questions the woman. He can practically feel the acceptance and death magic radiate off the woman.

She voices her thoughts as she thinks, "Well, there was Norberta," People listen to her monologue.

The name makes people confused except the Weasley's, but she continues, "Then there was the tournament..." She trails off with a cringe. The witches and wizards also cringe at that.

However, before the Greeks can ask questions, she continues, "Then I believe lastly was the bank breakout. That's all I can remember right now."

Bank Breakout confuses everyone, including her siblings, "Wait, what? What do you mean bank breakout?" Neville asks, concerned and highly worried.

Amary pauses at that, forgetting that not everyone knows about that. "Did you break into a bank?" Ginny questions, shocked.

"Yes, Gringotts. And it wasn't just me. It was also Ron and Hermione. It's when we went on the run." Amary sheepishly and smugly tell everyone.

Her words shock everyone even more, especially her sons and Poseidon. Apollo and Hermes start laughing, Amary sports a few giggles from their laughing, but they are the only ones who are laughing.

"I think mom might actually be worse than Percy. At least he's never broken into a bank." Teddy shakes his head, still in shock.

"And he's never gone on the run from the cops for very long." Grover states, remembering that they got better at evading cops as they got older.

"Vastly misunderstood beasts, Euphemia. Vastly misunderstood." Hagrid tells the girl who's now looking at him. Hagrid suddenly eyes a woman, and then he nods. The woman returns to reading her paper. Euphemia looks confused by the interaction but goes back to daydreaming about dragons.

This makes people curious and lean closer, wondering what's going on.

[The next scene, Hagrid and Euphemia, are walking down the streets.]

"All students must be equipped with... one standard size 2 pewter cauldron and may bring, if they desire, either an owl, a cat, or a toad. Could we find all this in London?" Euphemia questions, knowing that the majority of these things you can't find in London.

"If you know where to go." Hagrid tells the curious girl.

[They walk towards a corner store, and as they get closer, the sign above it has "The Leaky Cauldron" magically appearing. They enter the Leaky Cauldron. There was music and several patrons that are speaking to each other.]

"Ah, Hagrid! The usual, I presume?" Tom, the barkeep, asks the half giant.

"No thanks, Tom. I'm on official Hogwarts business today. Just helpin' young Euphemia here buy her school supplies." Hagrid gestures to the small girl who stands at his side, who's looking around the pub.

"Shouldn't say that." Luna's soft voice chimes up. From where she's watching. People wonder why she's saying that.

"Bless my soul. It's Euphemia Potter!" Tom exclaims at the sight of the famous young girl. His sudden loudness makes her jump, and she quickly looks at the man behind the bar.

[The pub immediately goes silent, and everyone notices. Euphemia looked around again at the sudden quietness.]

This shocks the wizards and witches, except Amary, "It's never been that quiet before." Draco comments in shock.

"Or quiet at all." Teddy adds his own comment. The people who've been there nod along, knowing that they are right.

The Greeks understood their shock.

A man comes up and shakes Euphemia's hand. "Welcome back, Ms. Potter. Welcome back." Euphemia looks surprised and kind of uncomfortable.

The man's comment confuses the Greeks.

A witch comes up and shakes Euphemia's hand, as well. "Doris Crockford, Ms. Potter. I can't believe I'm meeting you at last." Euphemia still looks surprised and uncomfortable as she shakes the witch's hand.

The Greeks quickly remember that Amary was famous. However, they can clearly see that the girl is highly uncomfortable. They look at the woman and see she's also uncomfortable watching her fame.

[A man in robes with a turban on his head appears. It is Professor Quirrell.]

"Euphemia P-potter. C-can't tell you how p-pleased I am to meet you." Quirrell stutters out to the girl who looks at him confused.

His former students groan at the sight of the man, which makes people look at them, to see them all sporting frowns and glares aimed at the man on screen.

"Why do you all hate him?" Teddy questions, not remembering why they would hate the man besides his annoying voice.

"You'll find out, but he's a parasite." George jokes, which makes his former students snicker.

"Do we have to deal with him when we get out of here?" Artemis questions willing to deal with the man who bothered Amary when she was young.

Amary waves that away, "No, I've already killed him." Amary casually says, which completely shocks the Greeks, especially Poseidon and her sons.

"Wait, what?!" Percy loudly questions, Teddy doesn't remember anything about his mom killing her teacher.

"At the end of this movie, I kill him. It'll be explained more. Just keep watching." Amary tells them which they reluctantly do.

"Hello, Professor. I didn't see you there. Euphemia, this is Professor Quirrell. He'll be yer Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts." Hagrid tells the girl who's looking at Quirrell with slightly narrowed and uncomfortable eyes. She can't believe that he's the professor.

"He's the professor?" Clarisse questions while she looks at the man in disbelief. The others agree with her statement. The former students give their confirmation.

Athena is looking at the man with squinted eyes, "His stutter is very fake." Amary nods along, having picked it up at the first meeting.

"It is, but he was dumb enough to convince everyone else." Amary shrugs. George, Neville, and Draco look at her in offense. Ginny and Luna laugh at them.

"Nice to meet you." Euphemia quietly says, putting out her hand, offering a handshake with Quirrell, even if she doesn't want to shake hands with all these random people. But he looks at Euphemia's head and hesitatingly refuses.

This makes the Greeks look at the man in suspicion.

"F-fearfully f-fascinating subject. N-not that you need it, e-eh, Potter? Heheh." Quirrell stutters out. His words and refusal make her even more suspicious of the strange man.

"Yes, well, mus' be goin' now. Lots to buy. Heh-heh-heh." Hagrid tells the professor.

[Euphemia quietly says her goodbye's. As they start to walk away, Euphemia looks back at the Defense professor who is staring at her, making chills go up her spine so she quickly turns back around. The two leave into a back room winery in front of a brick wall.]

"Creepy." Thalia comments, which makes people nod along.

"See, Euphemia? You're famous!" Hagrid tells the uncomfortable and confused girl.

"But why am I famous, Hagrid? All those people back there, how do they know who I am? I've never met any of them." Euphemia quietly tells the large man. This whole situation is confusing her.

"You didn't know that you're famous?" Draco questions.

Amary shakes her head, "No, as we've seen, I didn't know anything about magic. I didn't even know about my own parents."

Her answer makes people sad for the girl, who, while excited and curious about that new world, was also very confused about her place in it.

"I'm not sure I'm exactly the right person to tell you that, Euphemia." Hagrid evades the question which confuses and frustrates the girl.

[Hagrid taps the brick wall clockwise with his umbrella. The blocks then magically shift and open up to reveal a hidden, busy street called Diagon Alley.]

The Greeks look shocked at the street while the witches and wizards have smiles, remembering their first time in the magical alley.

"Welcome, Euphemia, to Diagon Alley." Hagrid tells the excited girl who lights up at the magic alley. Euphemia smiles excitedly as they step into the street and walk down it. An owl screeches. "Here's where yeh'll get yer quills and yer ink, and over there all yer bits and bobs fer doing yer wizardry." Hagrid tells the girl whose head whips in multiple directions, trying to look at everything.

Her curiosity makes people smile, while the demigods understand being part of a whole new magical world, especially Annabeth, who is also very curious about things and wants new information.

[Euphemia is amazed as they pass by shops and owls and bats. The camera pans on a broom store, where a group of boys are crowded around a shiny broom.]

"It's a world-class racing broom." One of the kids says as they all at it.

"Wow! Look at it! The new Nimbus 2000!" Another says.

"It's the fastest model yet." One of the boys tells the others. The camera pans to see the broom's model name on the handle.

Amary smiles at the sight of her very first broom. "My very first broom." The nostalgia is hitting her hard. George winces, remembering what happened to that broom.

The Greeks stare shocked, especially the demigods, "You actually fly around on brooms?"

Teddy laughs along with Amary, "We do." Teddy tells them.

Poseidon looks at Amary, who has a bittersweet smile at the thought of flying on brooms again.

Teddy looks at his mom, knowing that it's been years since she flew on a broom and that she misses it at times.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry if this chapter is crappy.

Euphemia's excitement and curiosity about magic and dragons make me so warm.

Poseidon and Amary both thinking about having a daughter, unknowing each others thoughts.

Euphemia is smarter than people realize and notices more than she sometimes lets on.

Chapter 10: Gringotts

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

[Euphemia and Hagrid continue walking down Diagon Alley]

"Hagrid, I don't have any money. How am I to pay for all this?" Euphemia shyly confessed, questioning the large man.

"Well, there's yer money, Euphemia." Hagrid points to a tall, white, marble building, Gringotts Bank. "Gringotts, the Wizard Bank. T'ain't no safer place, not one. 'Cept perhaps Hogwarts."

The former Hogwarts students laugh at Hagrid's words, knowing that it's not true. The Greeks and Teddy look at them, confused as to why they are laughing.

"What's so funny?" Thalia questions.

"Hogwarts wasn't safe when we went to school." Neville tells the immortal teen.

The Greeks and Teddy share worried looks, "The school wasn't safe?" Teddy questions. As when he went to Hogwarts, it was great.

"It might be now, under the rule of Professor Minnie, but I was fighting for my life every year." Amary tells them as the laughter finally calms down.

Ginny nods along with Amary's statement, having been caught up in the danger during her first year at the school.

Their statement only makes everyone share looks once again.

[Inside the bank, the one at the door bows to them as they walk past, which makes her bow at the creature back. It looks at her in surprise.]

"You bowed back to it?" Draco questions, surprised.

"Of course, It seemed disrespectful to just ignore them." Amary confesses, Percy and Teddy nod along with what their mom is saying. She always taught them to be respectful, which is harder for Percy due to his temper.

"What are these things?" Athena questions, curious about the creatures, Annabeth is also deeply curious while a few others share their curiosity.

"That's about to be answered in a minute." Amary assures the curious people.

[They walk down the shiny aisle, passing tiny creatures working at their desks.]

"Hagrid, what exactly are these things?" Euphemia questions, curious about the creatures as they walk past.

"They're goblins, Euphemia. Clever as they come goblins but not the most friendly of beasts. Bes' stay close." Euphemia sticks to his side but continues to look around, curious about everything. Hagrid clears his throat as they approach a counter with a goblin, wearing spectacles and a waistcoat, in it. "Ms. Euphemia Potter wishes to make a withdrawal."

The goblin looks up from their work. "And does Ms. Euphemia Potter  have  her key?"

"Oh, wait a minute. Got it here somewhere. Ha! There's the little devil." Hagrid searches his pockets, looking for Euphemia's vault key before finding it.

"Why does he have your key?" George questions, knowing that nobody's meant to have her key except her and her guardians.

"I question Hagrid in a moment, don't worry." Amary assures her brother.

Hagrid whispers to the goblin, "Oh, and there's something else as well." He takes out a letter wrapped in a string. "Professor Dumbledore gave me this." Hagrid hands the Goblin the letter. "It's about You-Know-What in vault You-Know-Which."

"Very well." The goblin tells the man before stopping at the sound of Euphemia's voice.

"Hagrid, why do you have my vault key?" Euphemia questions the half giant, missing the whispering that he spoke to the goblin.

The goblin also looks at the half giant who looks put on the spot, knowing that a heirloom was taken from the trust vault that belonged to the girl.

"Professor Dumbledore gave me the key." Hagrid tells the girl who looks confused as to why a random man she's never met before would have the key to her vault.

"Nobody's meant to have a key to her vault except her or her parents and guardians." Teddy informs the confused Greeks, his mom had the key to his vault while he was young but never touched it and used her own family wealth to support their family.

The Greeks sport a suspicious look at the mention of this Dumbledore man, while Percy is confused as this man wasn't mentioned by anyone when he was told about the wizarding world.

[Later, they race down the depth caverns in a cartlike structure. The cart stops, and a goblin, called Griphook, clambers out.]

"Vault 687. Lamp, please." Hagrid hands him the lamp that he asked for, and he walks to the vault. "Key, please."

[Hagrid hands him the  key and  Griphook unlocks the vault. The room is filled nearly top to bottom with coins. Euphemia is shocked by the amount of money.]

"Didn't think yer mum and dad will leave you with nothing now, did yeh?" Hagrid questions the girl who still looks in shock.

Everyone is in shock at the amount of money that's in the vault. While Hades nods in approval.

"That's just my trust vault. I have full access to the Potter vault now." Amary tells the others while Draco isn't surprised as his family is also wealthy.

However, the Weasley's are a little shocked about their sister's money. She's tried multiple times in the past to buy them stuff, but they tend to be a little stubborn, but so is she, so she always manages to win in the end.

"You've said that we were taken care of, not that we were rich!" Percy is shocked that their family is rich. He knows that they have never struggled with money in the past, but he never knew how much they had.

Teddy knew about the Potter wealth more than Percy did but never knew the true extent of it.

"We are taken care of, All of our needs are met, and our wants are sometimes fulfilled. I didn't want you both to grow up spoiled, so I never went overboard on the amount." Amary tells her boys, never wanting them to end up like her despicable cousin, Dudley.

Seeing the look on Amary's face, the disgust and anger, they remember her cousin, Dudley. While Draco sits back in his chair, knowing that he was spoiled in a way, but he still lacked his father's approval.

Poseidon grabs hold of her hand, breaking her out of her thoughts. She glances at their hands and then back at him as she laces their fingers together, giving a small smile. Poseidon sports a wide smile as the room rumbles a little, making everyone look at the god to see what cause that reaction.

Seeing their hands, Percy and Teddy just roll their eyes at the simp that they have for a father, while Aphrodite sports a wide manic smile, which makes those around her give a side eye.

George is glad that Euphemia is falling in love again. At least this one can't die like the other two. (I'M SORRY!! HAHAHA!!!!)

[They continue on through the cavern.]

"Vault 713." Griphook announces when they stop in front of the vault.

"What's in there, Hagrid?" Euphemia asks, curious about the vault.

"Can't tell yeh, Euphemia. It's Hogwarts business. Very secret." Hagrid shakes his head, denying to answer.

People lean in curious about what's inside the vault that's so secret, which makes Amary sport a chuckle at them all.

"Stand back." The goblin slides a finger down the door. The vault opens to reveal a small white stone package. Hagrid enters the vault and scoops it up. The eerie light it was shining with disappears.

The eerie light shocks people while Hades looks shocked, the package giving off a feeling that he can't explain, even through the screen. Nico also looks a little curious, catching a very faint feeling from the package on the screen

Hades looks to Amary to see her looking at him already, knowing that he felt something from the screen. Nico looks between his father and the death witch to see them already looking at each other.

Poseidon looks to Amary for answers, but he sees her sharing a look with his brother, which makes him narrow his eyes at his brother, who catches his eye.

Hades glances behind the witch to see his brother staring him down, which makes him a little nervous, especially if he's the same way as his demigod son when it comes to Athena's daughter.

Amary sees that Hades is nervous looking in her direction, which makes her look behind her and catch Poseidon's eye. Making him quickly lose the look aimed at his brother, glancing at the beautiful witch beside him who's giving him a knowing look.

She squeezes his hand and makes him turn back around to face the screen with her.

"Bes' not to mention this to anyone, Euphemia." Hagrid tells the girl, knowing it must stay secret.

[Euphemia hesitantly nods in agreement, agreeing to keep this secret for Hagrid, for now.]

"I mentioned it." Amary chuckles out.

"To who?" Percy questions his mom, wondering who she told. She's kind of secretive about certain things.

"Ron Weasley, my best friend. I seen that the vault was broken into in the paper and was talking about it to him." Amary confesses, George and Ginny nod along, knowing that she would tell one of her best friends first.

The mention of Ron makes the mood a little somber, but it's broken by the sound of something clattering to the floor.

They look over to see that George and Teddy are scrambling to pick up prank stuff that they were talking about.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry if this chapter is crappy.

Dumbledore is suspicious! Even young Euphemia is suspicious.

The Potters are rich rich! However, she made sure her boys weren't spoiled little butt heads.

Poseidon is jealous over Hades' connection with Amary! Heheheheh

Today has been rough! I wasn't even sure I would be able to get this chapter up. Woke up to my grandmother needing help getting up after falling. Now, I'm pretty sure the dog has a broken leg so...yeah.

Chapter 11: Ollivanders

Notes:

Trigger Warning: Reference to Abuse, Mention to Animal Death, Missing Ears

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Once George and Teddy pick up their prank stuff and the laughter calms down, the screen starts up again.

[Outside back in Diagon Alley, Euphemia and Hagrid are walking through the street. She has bought most of her equipment and is reading her list.]

"I still need a wand." She quietly tells Hagrid, looking at the tall man.

Hagrid points to the  store and  she looks to see the front of a shop with the sign saying the name 'Ollivanders'. "A wand? Well, yeh'll want Ollivanders. There ain't no place better. Why don't you run along there and wait. I just got one more thing I got to do. Won't be long."

Everyone, except Amary, is wondering what he's doing.

Amary starts to smile, knowing what Hagrid's doing. Poseidon sees her sporting a small smile and just watches her for a moment before looking back at the screen, not knowing he rumbled a little.

People side eye the god wondering what the Tartarus is going through his head and that he needs to stop rumbling the room. While Aphrodite is enjoying the feeling of love coming from the sea god for the half mortal witch.

[She agrees, heading into the shop by herself. She looks around. There are shelves of wands in boxes, but no people. She looks around at all the boxes and is shocked by the amount.]

The demigods are shocked by the number of boxes, "That's a lot of wands." Nico comments.

"There are so many." She quietly speaks to herself while continuing to look around.

[Then, a noise came from the back, which made Euphemia jump. A man appears on a ladder and looks at the girl. The man is Ollivander, and he smiles at the girl.]

The mortals, Hermes, and Apollo jump with her, not expecting the sudden sound in the quiet shop. Which makes the others chuckle at them.

"I wondered when I'd be seeing you, Ms. Potter. It seems only yesterday that your mother and father were in here buying their first wands." She looks surprised at the mention of her parents.

Ollivander picks a wand and hands it to the girl who looks at it while she holds it. "Well, give it a wave."

[She hesitates for a moment but waves the wand. This causes most of the boxes to come flying out and crashing down. She jumps and hurriedly puts the wand back on the counter, shrinking in on herself like she's trying to avoid being hit.]

People laugh at the boxes crashing down, but her reaction makes them quickly sober up.

Poseidon scowls at the screen angry, but Amary distracts him when she starts rubbing the back his hand with her opposite.

Annabeth also gets to work on distracting Percy to ensure he's also calm.

"Apparently not." Ollivander gets another wand from a box. "Perhaps this." She gives a hesitant wave, which shatters a nearby vase, startling her.

George decides to joke, "What did the shop do to you, Phemia?" He sports a smirk when he hears people laugh at his joke, including said woman who shakes her head at him.

"No, no, definitely not! No matter." Ollivander goes to get another wand from a box but stops and becomes thoughtful, "I wonder..." He retrieves a box further in the store. Ollivander hands the wand to Euphemia.

No sooner after she touched it, Euphemia suddenly glows under it, blowing her hair back and several of the paperwork in the background. Ollivander looked a bit surprised and deep in thought. "Curious.  Very  curious."

People lean in wondering why it's curious while Amary sports a frown at the screen. However, the frown on her face disappears as a blush takes over at the feel of a familiar pair of lips are placed on the back of her hand.

Glancing over, Amary's meadow green eyes catch a pair of sea green ones who have been watching her.

Poseidon saw the frown on her face and didn't like it on her beautiful face. He wants to give her an eternity of happiness.

His words make Euphemia anxious, "What is curious, Sir?"

Ollivander examines the wand he gave to Euphemia. "I remember every wand I've ever sold, Ms. Potter. It just so happens that the phoenix, whose tail feather resides in your wand, gave another feather, just one other. It is curious that you should be destined for this wand when its brother gave you that scar." The man points to the lighting bolt scar on Euphemia's forehead.

"WHAT?!" The people from the wizarding world shout in shock and horror.

The Greeks have no clue who that man is, but based on the reactions and the fact that she was scarred by this other wand, they knew this was bad.

"Who owned that wand?" Euphemia asks, hoping to get some answers for the many questions in her head.

Ollivander shakes his head, "We do not speak his name. The wand chooses the wizard, Ms. Potter. It's not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things. Terrible, yes, but great." He hands Euphemia back her wand.

"Before anyone speaks up, he was complimenting the magic, not the acts performed or the man who did them." Amary speaks up, seeing many people open their mouth to speak. Her words make them close their mouth.

[Euphemia then hears a knock on the window, which makes her jump, breaking her away from her thoughts on who this terrible man could be.]

"Euphemia! Euphemia! Happy birthday!" In his hand, Hagrid is holding a cage which holds a snowy owl, which hoots, his name is Frost.

[Euphemia is amazed having never seen an owl up close  before.]

Athena and Annabeth glare at the screen at the sight of the owl in the cage, hating that for her sacred animal. Grover is right alongside them.

Amary perks up at the sight of the owl, "Frost! I missed him."

Percy speaks up, wondering about the owl as he had never heard about the animal. "You've never talked about Frost before when you were telling me about the wizarding world."

"Frost was my first friend and also my only pet. While Ron was my first human friend, Frost was my first friend ever." Amary has a happy smile on her face when talking about the owl even if there is a gleam of sadness in her eyes.

"Where is Frost?" Athena questions.

Amary's smile falls off her face and her face sets into a frown, "Frost was killed during an escape to ensure that I survived. A killing curse was sent towards me, which at this point in my life would have killed me, but Frost flew in front of me and took the hit. His body fell into the forest that we were flying over. We lost the mission leader, Mad-Eye Moody, and George lost his ear."

The room takes a solemn mood before it's cut by Nico, who registers what was all said.

"Wait, you lost your ear?" Nico questions George, his question makes the Greeks completely register what was said.

"Yeah, look." George turns his head, showing the spot where his ear should be.

"Woah." The demigods say, having never seen that in their short lives. While the gods have seen similar things from battle so they aren't as shocked as the kids.

They decide to take a break as the kids want to ask George questions about what it's like to be missing an ear and can he not hear on that side and does it affect him when going into battle, that last question threw him off a bit but he still answered.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry if this chapter is crappy. I speed wrote this chapter just after I posted the last one for the Heroes story.

I swear. Poseidon absolutely adores Amary so much that I can't help but want to squeal and swoon.

They find out about the brother wand cores with Voldy No-Nose.

Frost! I love you! I was going to change it to a cat, but then I decided to keep the owl, but I did change the name because I didn't like it for my story.

But the kids asking George about his missing ear made me laugh because sometimes you forget that even though they have been through battle and survived, they are still kids/teens. They are still young. (Now I'm getting sad.)

Chapter 12: Grief and First Meetings

Notes:

Trigger Warnings: Death, Bile, Puke,

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

[Later back in the Leaky Cauldron, Hagrid and Euphemia are at a long table, eating soup. Euphemia is moving around her food and not eating it, Everything is too quiet and Hagrid soon notices this.]

"You all right, Euphemia? You seem very quiet." Hagrid questions the dejected looking girl.

Euphemia hesitates before talking, "Mr.Hagrid sir, Did he kill my parents? The one who gave me my scar. You know, don't you?"

Everyone is silent at her question. The witches and wizards are quiet knowing how serious this is while the Greeks want to know more about this evil man.

Poseidon squeezes Amary's hand that he's holding, rubbing the back of it with his thumb. She glances at him to see him already looking at her so she gives him a soft smile to reassure him that she's okay.

Hagrid sighs and pushes his bowl away, "First, and understand this, Euphemia, 'cause it's very important. Not all wizards are good. Some of them go bad. A few years ago, there was one wizard who went as bad as you can go. And his name was V-...his name was V-..."

Draco shakes his head, "He's not going to say it." Knowing that everyone was scared of the name of the Dark Lord.

Amary looks at her childhood enemy, "Do you want to bet?"

"No! You were there so I'm not making a bet." Draco scoffs lightly while Amary looks back at the screen with a fake pout.

"I'll take up the bet."

Amary looks at Poseidon at his words. "Really?" Amary tries to hide her laughter, knowing he will lose the bet. She fails to hide the wide smile that's spread across her face for him indulging in her antics.

"Of course." Poseidon nods eagerly with a warm smile towards his love, wanting to make her happy, despite knowing she was faking her sadness and pout. "I'll give you a gold drachma that he doesn't say the name." Poseidon summons a golden drachma in his hand.

"I'll give you a galleon that he does say the name." Amary counters, pulling a galleon out of her pocket. She managed to keep some cash and wizarding money with her when they all got transported.

Everyone else just watches Amary's antics and Poseidon going along with them.

Percy and Teddy watch their parents have fun and their mom letting out her playful side that's hardly shown since their younger childhood. The wizarding people catch a glimpse of the girl who first came to Hogwarts, that girl who's been lost over the years she was at school.

The other immortals just watch Poseidon as he goes along with the woman's antic, wondering where this soft version of the god has been all this time. However, Hestia and Aphrodite both sport smiles at the couples playing, enjoying the feeling of love and family coming from the both of them.

The mortal Greeks are surprised as they sometimes forget that the gods sometimes act like normal humans when they aren't imposing their superiority over everyone else.

"You do know that you're going to lose that bet right?" Hades questions his brother, knowing that his brother has his moments when he doesn't think especially around Amary. From what he's heard from the woman herself when they have their chats.

Poseidon and Amary both look at Hades, "I know." Poseidon states with a wide smile which makes Amary's cheeks turn red. She quickly looks back at the screen, flustered by Poseidon's words and the clear reason behind them.

George and Ginny are glad that the god clearly loves their sister and is glad that he's willing to indulge in her playfulness.

The immortals shake their heads at Poseidon's lovesick nature while Aphrodite is eating up all the love felt from the two. Hades is happy for the two, knowing they make each other happy.

"Can you write it down? Will that make it easier?" Euphemia cuts in Hagrids hesitant stuttering.

"No, I can't spell it. All right." Hagrid denies before quietly saying, "Voldemort."

Poseidon puts the drachma in Amary's hand which makes her admire it up close with a smile when she turns and put the galleon in Poseidon's hand with a smile on her face as she watches Poseidon perk up at the coin in his hand. They both observe the coins from each others world while leaning against each other unconsciously, like they used to.

While the wizarding people except for Amary and Teddy flinch at the name, even after all these years. Teddy just sits relaxed as he never grew up with the terror of Voldy being around and his mom told him and Percy to never fear a name as it only gives power to the person behind it.

"Voldemort?" Euphemia questions the name of her parents' murderer.

[Hagrid shushes her loudly which makes her jump and shrink into her seat staring at Hagrid before looking around to see if anyone heard her, she watches Hagrid again once he quietens.]

People frown at her reaction to Hagrid raising his voice but otherwise stay quiet.

"It was dark times, Euphemia, dark times." We flash over to a flashback on the night at Godric's hollow, consisting off a cloaked man walking towards a house, breaking in with his wand, and proceeding to terrorize. Hagrid narrates. "Voldemort started to gather some followers, brought 'em over to the dark side. Anyone that stood up to him ended up dead. Your parents fought against him, but nobody lived once he decided to kill 'em." Euphemia's mother, Lily, screams in pain as she is killed by Voldemort's wand. Green flashes are seen from the windows outside the house. Then, we see Voldemort pointing his wand at an infant Euphemia Potter's head. "Nobody, not one. 'Cept you."

Amary flinches at her mothers scream and the sight of her murder while Poseidon's face is set in anger as he glares at the murderer on screen while holding his precious love tenderly in his arms.

Annabeth and Grover comfort Percy at the murder of his grandmother as Teddy is comforted by his aunt and uncle.

The room is silent as the memory plays out.

[We flash back to the present time. ]

"He tried to kill me?" Euphemia looks shocked. She can't believe that she's the only one to survive. She can't be the only one, she wasn't anything special. She was a nobody. She's sad and upset at the news of the truth behind her parents death but doesn't say anything about it for now.

Everyone; especially Poseidon, Teddy, Percy, George, Ginny, and Hades are angry that someone tried to kill her when she was a baby. However, her self-deprecating thoughts make everyone pause.

Her sons are beside her in a flash and scolding her about her thoughts and to repeat what she told them during their childhood when she caught them saying those types of things about themselves.

Poseidon looks to be in pain at the thoughts that his love had about herself when she was younger. She was extremely special and she was everything to him, he hates that she used to think that she wasn't special and that she could possibly think that she was a nobody when she has always been an important somebody.

Artemis and Apollo are upset, knowing that she got those thoughts from her abusive family. Hades looks mad at the thought of his sister-in-law thinking lowly of herself when she didn't even think lowly of him, even though his own family does.

Hagrid confirms, "Yes. That ain't no ordinary cut on your forehead, Euphemia. A mark like that only comes from being touched by a curse, and an evil curse at that."

"What happened to... You-Know-Who?" Euphemia hesitates before asking the half giant about the evil wizard.

"Well, some say he died. Codswallop in my opinion. Nope, I reckon he's out there still, too tired to carry on. But one thing's absolutely certain. Something about you stumped him that night. That's why yer famous. That's why everybody knows yer name. You're the girl who lived." Hagrid tells the girl who looks shocked and a little overwhelmed by her new title and fame. Also the fact that her parents' murderer might still be out there.

[At King's Cross Station, up on a crossing bridge, Euphemia, with her cart of her baggage, equipment and Frost, walks beside Hagrid. A couple looks at Hagrid, suspiciously.]

"What're you looking at?" Hagrid tells the couple before checking his watch. "Blimey, is that the time? Sorry, Euphemia, I'm gonna have to leave you. Dumbledore will be wanting his, uh... well, he'll be wanting to see me. Now, uh, your train leaves in 10 minutes. Here's your ticket." He hands the train ticket to her. "Stick to it, Euphemia, that's very important. Stick to your ticket."

Euphemia looks at her ticket. "Platform 9¾? But there isn't a Platform 9¾. This must be a mistake." Euphemia looks up, but Hagrid has vanished and Euphemia is all alone with her cart. "Mr. Hagrid? Sir?" She looks a little anxious as she looks around for the half giant which isn't coming back to help the confused and lost girl.

"He left you there?!" Multiple people shout, furious and incredulous. Percy understands how his mom is feeling from when he started camp.

Amary chuckles a little, "Yeah, Hagrid is a little oblivious but he means well."

[Euphemia is walking down a lane between trains. A man rushes by, almost bumping into the girl. Euphemia sees a guard. She hesitates before walking over.]

"Um...Excuse me, sir." Euphemia tries to get the guards' attention.

"Oh no." The wizarding people, including Percy all say while Amary sinks a little in her seat as she covers her face in embarrassment.

The Greeks are confused as to why they are saying that. "Why are you saying oh no?" Athena questions before anyone else can ask.

Luna speaks up, "The wizarding world is a secret so normal mortals don't know about it. There are certain things in place to even prevent them from seeing our world. However, it's only on certain things." Her soft voice telling the Greeks which clears up that question.

Percy adds in, "Like the mist, kind of." He gives a slight example of what it could kind of relate to.

"Yes but also no. The mist is constantly at work and disguising things however the wizarding world is much more out in the open. Muggles see our world all the time, however there are government branches which take the memories of the magic away since magic is part of a secrecy act." Amary explains a little further and corrects her son.

The guard is helping an older woman and pointing out the direction, "Right on your left, madam."

Euphemia asks the guard, "Excuse me, sir. Do you know where I might find Platform 9¾?"

Guard becomes incredulous and angry at the absurdity, "9¾?! Think you're being funny, do ya?!" Euphemia backs up and the guard walks off, muttering, "9¾."

"Don't be rude to her." Poseidon tells the man through the screen even though this is the past and the man can't hear him. Amary snorts and chuckles a little at Poseidon's words which only make the god look at her fondly.

Teddy and Percy just shake their head at their dad even though they agree with his words towards the guard.

[Euphemia then notices a woman, daughter, and four boys walk by, pushing carts.]

At the sight of the family group; Amary, Ginny, and George's breath hitch. Poseidon, who hears Amary, looks over to see her staring at the screen with wide eyes, nervous to see the faces of people she's lost.

"It's the same year after year. Always packed with Muggles, of course." A plump redheaded woman says. This woman is Mrs. Weasley.

Euphemia quietly mutters, "Muggles?"

Mrs. Weasley instructs her children, "Come on. Platform 9¾ this way! All right, Percy, you first."

Percy jolts hearing his common name, realizing it's another Percy they are talking about.

[A tall boy with red hair, called Percy, comes forward and runs towards a brick wall. Amazingly, he disappears right into it. Euphemia is shocked and amazed.]

Mrs. Weasley looks to one of her sons, who stands beside his twin. "Fred, you next."

Amary, Ginny, and George all freeze seeing the boy on screen, the loss striking them all once again.

The Greeks realize that George is a twin by seeing a younger version of him beside his identical other half.

"Freddy..." George whispers his twins name in the quiet room, his voice heard by everyone. Everyone stays silent as the loved ones look upon their fallen loved one.

Amary feeling a knot lodge in her throat as she holds back tears of her lost first love. She takes a deep shaky breath to calm the rising grief, pushing it back once more.

Poseidon holds Amary's hand, knowing she wouldn't want to be coddled at the moment.

George and Ginny move closer, comforting each other.

Fred, who's actually George, tells their mother, "He's not Fred, I am!"

George, who's actually Fred, shakes his head at their mother, "Honestly, woman, you call yourself our mother."

[Euphemia, who can tell the difference between the two twins, laughs at their antics, assuming that they are messing with their mother. 'George' whose actually Fred see's her laughing at their antic, catches eyes with her and winks at her with a smirk which makes her cheeks turn pink at him. 'Fred' who is actually George see's the interaction and nudges his twin with a subtle smirk when their mother starts talking again. 'George' just nudges his twin back while still looking at the cute redheaded girl with glasses who's enjoying their antics.]

Amary, George, and Ginny chuckle at their antics with tears forming in their eyes at their fallen loved ones. The light laughter is joined by Percy, Teddy, Grover, Hermes, and Apollo.

Poseidon, who sees the interaction between the boy and the younger version of his love, can't help but glare at the boy on screen, remembering his son's words from earlier.

Aphrodite feels the love that Amary still has for the boy on screen, "You loved him, didn't you?"

Everyone looks between Aphrodite and Amary at the goddesses words, "Yeah, I did. He was one of my first loves. We were going to get married after the war." Her words make everyone who didn't know, realize what happened to him.

Poseidon is jealous but also sad for his love and what she lost. He thinks that if she never lost the redheaded boy then she would have never come to America where they met on the beach which makes him have mixed feelings.

Aphrodite however realizes Amary's wording, "You said one of your first loves, was there also another?" This makes everyone who doesn't already know look at the woman.

Amary smiles bittersweetly at the goddess, "Yes, I had two first loves. However, you can be patient as I believe that my other first love will also show on screen soon." Poseidon sports a frown at the reveal of another man who held Amary's love before he did.

Mrs. Weasley tells 'George', "Oh, I'm sorry, George." 'George' looks back at his mother before moving towards the wall.

"I'm only joking. I am Fred." He runs through the wall and is followed by his twin brother. Euphemia shakes her head with a laugh.

"Excuse me! C-could you tell me how to...?" Euphemia moves closer to the family, trying to speak to Mrs. Weasley.

Mrs. Weasley cuts in, "How to get on the platform? Yes, not to worry, dear. It's Ron's first time to Hogwarts as well." It pan to show a red haired boy, called Ron, who smiles. "Now, all you've got to do is walk straight at the wall between platforms 9 and 10. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous."

Amary, Ginny, and George freeze once more seeing Ron on screen, his loss striking them even more into their grief.

"Ron..." Amary says the name of her lost best friend. Teddy and Percy looking close at their fallen uncle.

Everyone else who wasn't there, remember Amary's earlier words of the boy being her best friend. They stay silent as the boy's loved ones grieve him.

Amary moves a little closer to Poseidon, as he squeezes her hand. George and Ginny comforted each other even more.

[The young redheaded girl stands next to her mother, this is Ginny. Ginny wishes Euphemia good luck when she sees the older girl is nervous.]

Teddy makes a joke to distract his family from their fallen family and love, "Look its Aunt Ginny as a baby."

People laugh at his words, giving the reactions he wanted while Ginny huffs, "I was not a baby, I was 10."

"Same thing." George, Amary, and Percy say at the same time which just makes people laugh even harder.

[Euphemia takes a few breaths to prepare herself before she starts running at the wall. She shuts her eyes and emerges on the other side a magnificent station at Platform 9¾ with a red steam locomotive, which is the Hogwarts Express, and bundles of people. Euphemia grins in excitement as the engine's whistle blows.]

[Later on, the Hogwarts Express is travelling through the countryside. Euphemia is sitting alone in a train compartment while she fiddles with her hair and clothes, and Ron appears in the doorway.]

"Excuse me, do you mind? Everywhere else is full." Ron tells the famous young girl.

Euphemia freezes and sits up at the arrival and words of Ron, "Please sit." She gives the boy a hesitant small smile after he spooked her.

Ron sits across from Euphemia, "I'm Ron, by the way. Ron Weasley."

"I'm Euphemia. Euphemia Potter." She gives her introduction back to the other redhead. Ron goes agape at her name.

Draco jokes, "Someone's a fan."

Amary raises an eyebrow at the man, "So were you or did you forget our first introduction?" Her words make the man look embarrassed, knowing she's right while some chuckles are heard.

Ron stutters out his words, "So-so it's true! I mean, do you really have the... the...?"

Euphemia is confused about what the boy is trying to ask, "The what?"

Ron whispers, "The scar?"

Everyone sits in silence for a moment before a collective, "Huh?" is heard through the room. They can't believe he asked that while Percy glances at Grover, his mothers best friend reminding him of his own and his awkwardness regarding the use of words.

Euphemia sits in shock that someone would want to see the ugly scar that made her look even worse, "Oh." She moves her hair to the side to reveal the scar on her forehead.

Poseidon grabs Amary's hand and kisses the back of it which gains the attention of Teddy who sits between the two, Amary herself, and Percy who sits on his mothers other side.

"You have always been radiant. Don't think lowly of yourself my love." Poseidon urges her with soft but determined eyes.

Teddy is happy for his parents but also a little grossed since he's stuck between the two. Percy glances towards his own girlfriend with soft eyes.

Ron gets even more excited once he sees the famous scar, "Wicked!"

[A trolley comes by the compartment, full of sweets.]

"Anything off the trolley, dears?" The woman manning the cart asks the two kids.

Ron holds up his mushed sandwiches, "No, thanks. I'm all set." Ron smacks lips while eyeing the cart.

Euphemia seeing that Ron wants some, pulls out coins. "We'll take the lot, please." Which makes Ron exclaim in surprise.

"That was sweet of you." Hestia says.

Amary just shrugs after getting her hand back from Poseidon, "I saw he wanted some so it was a win-win since I've never had any wizarding candy before."

Teddy moves on the opposite side of his dad so he's not squished between his parents while thinking about candy that he wants. Percy likes wizarding candy, having since had some after finding out about the wizarding world.

[A bit later, Euphemia and Ron are now sitting together eating bundles of sweets. Ron's rat is perched on Ron's knee, a box over his head.]

The sight of the rat makes Amary's lips thin in annoyance.

Euphemia picks up a box of candy, reading off the name, "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans? Every flavor?" She quietly questions the truth behind the name.

Ron confirms, "They mean every flavour! There's chocolate and peppermint, and there's also spinach, liver and tripe. George sweared he got a bogey-flavoured one once!" He swears.

Everyone looks at George who looks embarrassed while Ginny snickers quietly to herself.

"How do you know what a booger tastes like?" Thalia questions.

George looks away from everyone, "I have multiple siblings and a prankster twin brother, You would know what they taste like." (He says that like he isn't also a prankster.)

People start laughing at the already embarrassed man while Demeter comments to herself, "That isn't the type of nutrients someone needs."

[Euphemia starts choking at the boys words and quickly spits out the bean she was chewing, however the bean goes flying out of her mouth and hits the box that's over the head of Ron's rat.]

The rat squeaks as it's box is hit and Ron flinches back away from the projectile, an instinct from living with the twins. Euphemia covers her mouth as she coughs betweens words, "Sorry, Sorry."

People in the theater start laughing hysterically at the girls reaction and the reaction to her reaction.

Amary sinks in her seat and covers her red cheeks, extremely embarrassed. Her sons and siblings are not even trying to hide their laughter.

Poseidon tries to hide his laughter but she can feel the god shaking beside her.

She glances beside her to see a beautiful smile on Poseidon's face which ends up making her stare at him from over her hands, at the sight of his smile and happiness. Poseidon glances at her and sees her looking at him with soft eyes and his shaking calms down and he turns softer while the two look at each other basking in each other's presence.

The laughter eventually calms back down.

Once her coughing calms down, Euphemia picks a blue and gold package, "Chocolate frogs? They aren't real frogs, right?" She questions while looking concerned and a little grossed out at the package.

The Greeks look a little grossed at the idea of eating an entire frog whole, especially Aphrodite.

The Greek mortals look kind of grossed out, especially Grover. Except Percy who's eaten the candy before.

"It's just a spell. Besides, it's the cards you want. Each pack's got a famous witch or wizard. I got about 500 myself." Ron tells her about the candy.

Percy speaks up with a smile, "I have about 150 right now." Annabeth just watches her seaweed brain with a smile.

"About 320 myself." Amary says. Poseidon is a little surprised that she doesn't have more, but knows she is not a chocolate addict like their oldest son.

While Teddy tops their amount, "Around 1,180." Proving Poseidon's inner thoughts, while everyone else stares shocked, except for Teddy's family who know full well about his chocolate addiction.

Euphemia calms down at his words before opening the package, and a chocolate frog jumps up at the her face which makes her flinch back with a yelp. It lands on the window and climbs up.

Ron yells out, "Watch it!" The frog reaches the open gap in the window and jumps out. "Oh, that's rotten luck. They've only got one good jump in them to begin with."

Euphemia sits for a moment as her heart calms down, shs see's Dumbledore's image on the card. "Oh, I've got Dumbledore." Looking at the man on the card who has been mentioned multiple times by Hagrid, still not knowing who the man is.

The Greeks wonder who this man is, including Percy as there has been mention of him and they seen him at the beginning of the film but they don't know much about the man.

When Percy was learning about the wizarding world, his mother never spoke of this Dumbledore man, unaware of his mothers mixed feelings regarding the man. She's come to terms that while he did things for the greater good but the feeling of loss due to some of his actions still ache after all these years.

Ron nods with his mouth full, "I got about six of him."

Euphemia looks back down at the card, but Dumbledore has vanished from the card. "He's gone?!" She says in shock at the sudden disappearance.

The Greeks are surprised by his sudden disappearance. "Where did he go?" Clarisse questions.

"The pictures in the wizarding world move so the person can sometimes disappear." Neville explains to them.

"Well, you can't expect him to hang around all day, can you?" Ron says then his rat, Scabbers, squeaks. "This is Scabbers, by the way. Pathetic, isn't he?" Ron pulls off the box that's on his rats head.

"Very." Amary says while glaring at the rat on the screen, the fury in her voice surprises everyone except one. Almost everyone who knew the truth of her hatred and pain for that wretched rat have long been dead.

Hades being the only one alive to know why that rat caused such a reaction for her, as that very soul caught his attention when it passed through his realm and he assigned the furies to that very soul.

Amary, noticing everyone's silence, looks around noticing the wide eye looks, especially her loved ones, she just clears her throat. "It will be explained later, let's just keep watching."

Poseidon, while surprised, felt a thrill rush up his spine at the idea of seeing the true extent of her fury. He hopes to see more of her fury. Thinking about how she did mention how she murdered her teacher, he's excited to see more of her bloodthirst.

Euphemia looks at the rat with narrowed and confused eyes, "Umm...maybe." Euphemia says in an unsure voice. Not sure how he wants her to respond to his statement.

"Fred gave me a spell to turn him yellow. Want to see?" Ron asks the girl, confused as to why the girl's cheeks turn a light pink and a subtle smile appears on her face, not knowing it because of the mention of his older brother.

Poseidon sports a pout at her reaction towards the boy. Which makes Amary chuckle at him, giving his arm a quick squeeze before letting go again. Poseidon quickly loses his pout.

Euphemia perks up, "I'd love to see." Excited to see more magic.

Ron clears his throat, "Ahem. Sun-" He's cut off by the appearance of a girl in robes at the doorway. This girl with bushy brown hair is called Hermione Granger.

Amary's breath catches, "Hermione." The sight of another one of her deceased best friends makes her chest ache even more. Amary blinks away the tears at the sight of all three of them together on screen.

Poseidon hugs Amary and comforts her, their sons joining the hug for a moment before taking their seats once again. While Poseidon keeps his arm wrapped around Amary.

Aphrodite cringes at Hermione's hair but keeps quiet for Amary's sake.

Hermione ask the two in the compartment, "Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one."

Neville perks up at the mention of his name.

Ron answers for both of them, "No." Euphemia just shakes her head in response.

Hermione see's Ron's wand in hand, "Oh, are you doing magic? Let's see then."

Ron clears his throat again, "Sunshine, daises, butter mellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow!" He zaps Scabbers, but nothing happens. Ron shrugs. Euphemia presses her lips together to keep from laughing, realizing that Fred tricked his younger brother, just like him and his twin pranked their mother.

Those watching let their laughter loose at Ron being tricked by his older siblings. Amary relaxes into Poseidon's side as she laughs while he smiles at the sound of her beautiful laughter.

"Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it? Of course, I've only tried a few simple ones myself, but they've all worked for me. For example..." Hermione rambles as she goes over and sits across from Euphemia. She points her wand at the girls glasses and Euphemia flinches but freezes in place.

The laughter stops while everyone sits tense at Euphemia's reactions. Amary being the only one whose relaxed, she squeezes Poseidon's wrist from where his arm is wrapped around her to remind him that she's okay and he can relax.

"Oculus Reparo." The tape on the noseband vanishes, repairing her glasses as if they were good as new. Euphemia takes them off, amazed by the magic. "That's better, isn't it? Holy cricket, you're Euphemia Potter! I'm Hermione Granger. And you are...?"

Everyone relaxes in their seat, knowing that she's alright.

Ron answers with his mouth full, "I'm Ron Weasley."

Hermione looks grossed out, "Pleasure. You two better change into your robes. I expect we'll be arriving soon." Hermione gets up and leaves, but stops in the doorway and looks back at Ron. "You've got dirt on your nose, by the way. Did you know? Just there." She points to the dirt mark on Ron's nose. Ron scratches his nose, embarrassed. While Euphemia leans forward to look and realizes he does have a dirt mark on his nose.

Hermione finally leaves which makes Euphemia also stand up, "I'll be back." She tells Ron while getting her robes to change.

[After getting changed, Euphemia looks at herself in the mirror. She plays with the end of her skirt, not used to feeling so exposed but liking the look of the skirt. She twirls a little, watching as her skirt swishes around which makes her sport a wide smile, liking her skirt and feeling pretty for the first time.]

Poseidon smiles at the wide smile on Euphemia's face, turning his smile to Amary who's in his arms, "You're quite adorable when you were younger." His voice is quiet and soft as he speaks to her.

Amary's cheeks flush at his words, "That's sweet, thank you." Poseidon watches her for a moment more before turning back to the film once more. Amary's heart thuds speedily in her chest at Poseidon's staring before looking back at the screen.

[Euphemia gets her stuff together and leaves the bathroom, the corridor is crowded as people try to get to the bathrooms and change before they get to the school. Euphemia tries to avoid bumping into people, however, someone knocks into her while rushing to the bathroom. Euphemia is knocked into someone who steadies her as the person who bumped into her just shouts their apology as they continue rushing away.]

Euphemia turns to the person she was knocked into to apologize to them, "I'm so sorr–", she freezes and her voice catches in her throat as she makes eye contact with bright gray eyes.

[The boy holds Euphemia's arms where he steadied her when she was knocked into him. Said boy is older than Euphemia by about two years, he's tall and handsome with dark hair and those bright gray eyes that are still locked with Euphemia's.]

Amary chokes on her breath at the sight of her other first love, the image of his body flashing through her mind.

His ghost.

His last words.

Echoing through her mind.

Gasps as her only breath.

His murder replaying again and again before her mind's eye.

Struggling to her feet to get away.

Only thoughts of his dead eyes staring back at her.

Her stomach churning.

Eyes burning filled with long forgotten tears.

Acidic bile rising up.

Feeling hands helping her along.

The sound of her brother's voice assuring that she's okay. That he's got her.

A sob breaking past the knot in her throat.

George gets her out of the room fast enough as Ginny closes the door to the bathroom behind her siblings.

The theater room is silent, after witnessing the grief of Amary. Poseidon holds his sons to him, wanting to go to Amary and help her but deciding it's best to leave her in the care of her brother who knew the boy as well.

Ginny speaks up, breaking the silence, "Let's continue watching, they'll be a while so let's at least finish this part."

Everyone takes their seat, Poseidon sitting between his sons and holding them to him. Comforting them and himself at witnessing Amary in her grief, something none of them have witnessed before in the woman.

"Are you alright?" The tall boy asks, his voice knocks Euphemia out of her stupor. She steps away from him with pink cheeks, his hands fall to his sides with her distance.

"Y-Yes, I'm alright!" She squeaks out which makes the older boy smile at her, thinking that she's very cute. Her heart stutters at his smile which makes her cheeks go even more pink.

Poseidon barely smiles at Euphemia getting flustered over the older boy's attention, his worry still residing with the woman leaning over the toilet, puking in her grief.

He sports a small laugh, "I'm Cedric Diggory." He holds out his hand.

"Um..Euphemia Potter." She shyly gives her own name, putting her hand in his for a handshake but he turns over her hand, kissing the back of it which just makes her whole face red.

Aphrodite spots a small smile at his action, approving as she almost feels the girl swoon through the screen.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Euphemia." He gently pulls her closer to him as someone rushes past, almost bumping into them as they rammed through where she was previously standing.

Euphemia is completely flustered, "You as well." She stutters out. However before Cedric can say anything else, the train whistles signaling that it will be stopping very soon so everyone needs to go back to their compartments.

Cedric looks down at the red faced girl in his arms with a charming smile, "I'll see you at the school, Make sure to take care." Euphemia just nods, too flustered to say anything else. Cedric lets go and she starts to walk away before peaking over her shoulder to catch a glimpse of the handsome boy again, only to see still watching her with soft eyes and a smile.

[When she see's him still watching, she quickly looks forwards again as she rushes back to her compartment, embarrassed that she got caught looking back at Cedric.]

The screen turns black signaling that part is over with. They sit in silence for a moment before getting out of their seats to make use of their break.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry if this chapter is crappy. This has been unfinished for a few months and I just finished it. And I haven't gone through and did any editing at all so..yeah.

I don't know if I did good while writing the grief. I wrote the Cedric grief a few minutes ago while the other grief lines are from months ago so they probably aren't good.

I wanted Cedric's grief lines to be different due to her witnessing it herself instead of just finding their body like she did with the others.

And I hope your liking how I wrote my version of Cedric since he was only in the 4th movie and it's not much even then.

If you have any more trigger warnings for me to put up for this chapter, please let me know.

How are you liking it so far? If you have any recommendations, then let me know.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Chapter Text

Everyone is doing their own thing before the next part starts, some are eating while others are just chatting, some of the demigods are doing light exercises to prepare themselves for the next portion of the viewing.

It's almost an hour before Amary and George emerge from the bathroom, the woman's eyes and nose are still a little red but besides that she seems back to normal. Amary casually clears her throat when she notices everyone's eyes are on them, "I'm sorry about that. Let's quickly get back to watching."

She heads back to her seat after assuring George that she's okay now but her brother still keeps his eyes on her after returning to his own seat. Everyone else is quick to get back to their own seats as well. Her son's take their seats on the couch with their parents again, instead of with their other friends and relatives.

Once Amary settles into her seat with a sigh, she looks at her sons with a soft smile. "I wish my parents were able to meet you three. I wish that I could meet my parents."

Little did she know that the fates just finished setting up, using the time while they were already watching to get the transportation between time set so they may go back in time. Almost like she spoke the magic words, a bright light encases those in the room as they feel themselves spinning in void space before they all crash onto a stone floor.

Groans come from everyone, but the gods and demigods are quick to stand. Helping the others around them stand as well.

Around them is a large dining hall, where children and teens all sit while adults sit at a table near the back wall or stand near the entrance. People start screaming, including the gods and demigods, trying to figure out what is going on, while the Amary and her fellow wizarding people are wondering why they are suddenly in Hogwarts.

The fates pop up silencing everyone, as they begin to speak. "People of the wizarding world, as you are aware, the start of the war is about to begin. However, there is a second wizarding war. You will watch the life of the hero who won the second war. They are from the future so you cannot change the life they have already lived but you can learn from it. The people in the hall are from the past."

"May we know who you are?" Dumbledore speaks to the fates. Percy looks at the man with a questioning look,

"We are the fates."

People around the hall murmur, the fates and the gods are known in the wizarding world. Knowing that Hecate is the one who granted them their own magic. The people in the hall look around at the people from the future, some of them radiate power.

The fates turn to the people from the future, "You are in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Now introduce yourselves, while we gather the last bits of film and memories so we may show the people of the past what you have already watched."

"Hades, King of the underworld, God of riches and the dead."

From his place beside his love, Poseidon is the last of the gods to speak. "Poseidon, King of the sea, God of earthquakes, droughts, floods, and horses."

Draco speaks up from his place beside the Luna and Neville, "Draco Malfoy, Pureblood wizard. Son of Lucius and Narcissa Malfory."

There is a large gasp as said parents step forward towards their son, they look young, even younger than their own son. This makes the Amary's wizarding group realize that their parents will be young. Amary, Neville and even Luna are excited to see their lost parents.

"Lucius, we have a son." Narcissa says with a big smile on her pretty face. Draco smiles softly at his parents, going to greet them.

Luna speaks up next, "Luna Lovegood, Daughter of Pandora Rosier and Xenophilius Lovegood." She says with her airy voice. She spots her parents at the Ravenclaw table and decides to sit with them, with which they greet her back just as happily. Pandora notices that her daughter shares her looks with her daughter, especially the eyes that see more than is shown.

Neville excitedly speaks, "Neville Longbottom, Son of Alice and Frank Longbottom." Smiling with teary eyes at his parents at the Gryffindor table. Frank and Alice's friends cheer for them as they know the two have only just confessed their feelings for one another and started dating. The family share hugs with each other as they sit at the table.

"George Weasley, The fifth son of Molly and Arthur Weasley." Looking towards his parents, spotting his twin uncles as well. They tease his parents.

"Ginny Weasley, The seventh and youngest child of Molly and Arthur Weasley." Ginny chuckles as their uncles tease their mother even more, making her face turn red. Ginny and George look towards Amary, who gestures at them with a smile, they join their parents and uncles.

Amary sighs, looking around the room before settling her eyes on her parents at the Gryffindor table. "Amary Jackson. However, I was Euphemia Potter. Daughter of James Potter and Lily Evans."

James jumps up in excitement, cheering about getting with Lily while Siris and Peter cheer him on as Remus shakes his head with a large smile happy for James. Lily's cheeks flaming red as she started feeling more for James as he started maturing more.

James runs up picking up Lily and spinning her around, in happiness which makes her shriek. "We have a daughter Lily flower!"

"I see that but put me down!" She yells which he does as they look at their beautiful daughter, with her dark hair and green eyes. She looks like a female version of James with Lily's eyes and smaller features, like her light freckles or small dimple on the right as she smiles at them.

Amary wraps her arm around Teddy, urging him to go next. "I'm Edward Lupin-Jackson. Please call me Teddy. I am the son of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks. And godson and adopted son of Amary." Teddy smiles at his father, who is shocked that he had a son. However, the mood is down trodden as it's clear that something happened with Remus and Teddy's mother for him to be adopted by Amary.

Andromeda and Ted are shocked to find out that they are grandparents, while their daughter is only a few years old and Remus is already a teen.

Lily and James are shocked that they are technically grandparents, their daughter is older than they are but she only looks a good few years older than them while Teddy looks around their age.

Percy steps up between his parents, "Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and Amary Jackson or Euphemia Potter." He smiles at his grandparents with the same smile as Amary and James which shocks them.

"We're grandparents..." Lily says in surprise to James who looks like he's about to faint.

"Our daughter had a child with a god!" James yells in shock which makes some of the people laugh at James' surprise, including his best friends.

A voice speaks from the time appropriate guests, "Look Fleamont, we are great grandparents." They look over to see Euphemia and Fleamont Potter, in all of their glory. Fleamont and Euphemia are near the Gryffindor table, Teddy and Percy glance towards their mother before she pushes them in the direction of their family. They both bolt towards their family.

Amary takes a step towards her family before grabbing hold of Poseidon's hand and pulling him along, said god follows her with heart eyes with Sirius points out to James which makes James pout a little. "Mate, you look at Lily with the same eyes."

"Annabeth Chase, Daughter of Athena."

"Grover Underwood, Satyr."

"Thalia Grace. Daughter of Zeus, Lieutenant of Artemis."

"Nico Di Angelo, Son of Hades."

"Clarisse La Rue, Daughter of Ares."

The Fates pop back up with scare a lot of people, "Good, now that everyone is introduced. We will implement what was already shown into your minds and move on. You will be able to discuss it at the next break after this next viewing."

The Fates release a wave through the hall which implements the memories of what Amary and the others have already viewed into everyone's mind. Once that is done, the Fates leave again as the hall shifts changing into that of a theater so everyone is more comfortable.

Chapter Text

[The screen lights up showing the dark interior of a house. Upon closer inspection, the house is Number 12 Grimmauld Place, the black family residence.]

"That is our residence, why is it showing our house?" A detached feminine voice speaks up near where the Slytherins are sitting. Walburga Black is the one who spoke as she sits beside her husband, Orion.

Sirius curls his nose, "Why is that grimy old house being shown?" Walburga goes to yell at her disowned son but Orion calms her down before she can start.

[Passing through the dark hall, the screen stops on a door before passing through it. An office is now shown that appears to be empty however is not. It focuses on the desk when a book is suddenly put down. The camera pans out to show Euphemia Potter plopping down into the desk chair.]

"What are you doing in my office?" Orion asks with a frown on his face.

Amary looks over at the man, "Just taking care of some things." Which only makes said man frown even more. The rest of the Black family also show some displeasure, even Sirius who is confused more than anything.

[The Euphemia on screen dressed in a simple blouse, trousers and her hair tied back, the scars from the years show on her exposed skin. Dark rings under her eyes, dull skin like she hasn't seen the sun properly in a few days, and dirty dark auburn hair with ginger roots showing, she looks utterly exhausted.]

A lot of people in the hall look worried for her, especially her family. However before they can question her, the screen starts up once again.

[Euphemia yawns and lays her head down on the book that she put down. There is a pop sound which makes Euphemia flinch hard and suddenly sit up as both her hands reach around the table. One closes around her a wand that looks like spheres going up it and the other hand closes around a wicked looking dagger.]

Everyone knows that Euphemia has seen battle but the majority have not experienced it themselves. Those who have are sympathetic to the young woman who seems to have experienced it too early in life.

Lily and James look between the trauma ridden version of their daughter on screen and the woman who sits beside them. They hug her tight which just makes her smile. However, they do feel a little uncomfortable at the sight of the dagger.

"That's my dagger!" Regulus speaks up at the sight of the dagger that sits amongst his collection inside his room.

Amary forgot that the dagger was originally Regulus', "Yeah, I borrowed it while I was living in Grimmauld Place. I put it back when I moved out, but I did make a copy of it."

Lots of people are dumbfounded, even more when Nico speaks up, "I have the copy!" He pulls a charm off his bracelet which transforms into said dagger.

Teddy pouts, "That's where that went! I was looking for that when I came back from a few years ago."

Amary crosses her arms, staring down her son, "And why were you looking for it?" Percy tries to cover his laughter while Teddy stammers.

"No reason." The rest of the hall watches on as Amary parents. Remus is unsure how to feel when his niece is parenting his son.

Poseidon decides to join in, "Does it have anything to do with why you prayed to me for a new weapon?"

Amary snaps her head to Poseidon, "What?! Did you give one to him?!" Poseidon snaps his mouth shut and looks away from his love.

"You know I can't say no to our children."

"Did you at least question Teddy?!" Amary questions her former lover but his silence answers that question.

Amary proceeds to scold both Poseidon and Teddy, while Percy smothers his laughter. The other gods enjoy watching Poseidon get scolded by his love, especially his brothers. Teddy, seeing his brother, decides to throw him under the bus as well. "Percy prayed to dad because he was about to get smited last month."

Amary whips her head to her other son while Percy tries to sink in the chair. Amary scolds Percy who now shares the same scolded face as his brother and father.

[The screen shows Kreacher in front of the desk holding a baby with wisps of blue hair.]

"Mistress. The young master has woken up." Kreacher speaks to Euphemia who relaxes upon seeing it's just Kreacher.

[Standing to stretch as her back cracks and pops, Euphemia holds the toddler up to her chest bouncing him a little which makes him giggle as his hair turns a bright yellow in his happiness. On Euphemia's left hand that holds the baby is an engagement ring, it's a small thing with a single diamond but it's the only jewelry besides a necklace that she's wearing.]

"Mistress?!" Walburga shrieks. A halfblood is the new mistress of her family home. Everyone is kind of confused, especially the Blacks and the Potters.

"Regulus would be the heir." Narcissa starts to speak before being cut off by her eldest sister. "Sirius is disowned!" Bellatrix yells.

Amary stares at Bellatrix, her haunting laughter rings through her head as her loved ones' faces flash through her mind's eye. Snapping her face away, she looks towards Neville and Luna to see them pointedly looking away from the woman.

Amary takes a deep breath to calm herself before looking at the Black family, "Regulus had no children. However, when Sirius came back into my life, we went through a ritual and he blood adopted me just like I did with Teddy. I was named Sirius heir and so I claimed the Black family ladyship along with the Potter family ladyship."

They stare at the woman in shock. Draco adds to Amary's statement, "Euphemia, Percy, Teddy, my son, Scorpius and I are the last of the Black family. The Black family name, however, dies off." The Black family is horrified that their name disappears, they are at least a little glad that the family blood lives on even if one of the two lines are tainted with muggle blood.

"Why did you not claim the Black family lordship? You had a claim to it." Lucius questions his son. The rest of the Black family are curious as well.

"I didn't think to claim it. So much happened leading up to the war that I didn't think to claim the lordship for mothers family. Then after the war, we stayed out of the spotlight and even stayed secluded for a while. During that time, Euphemia ended up claiming it." Draco explains a little.

Sirius speaks to his goddaughter, "I blood adopted you." Amary chuckles confirming that he did.

James speaks up, "Why did you claim the lordship so soon after the war?" Amary sighs.

"I needed something to focus on afterwards in order to keep moving forward, I decided to use the titles to start to rebuild and fix things after the war. I was a beacon of hope during it then I became the savior once it ended. I just decided to keep pushing it forward."

Her words make her family proud of her but so sad that they couldn't be there to help her.

Lily notices the ring on the younger her's finger, "You got engaged?!" James snaps his head towards the screen and see's the ring on her finger which makes his jaw drop as his friends laugh at him.

Amary sports a sad smile, "I was." The past tense makes the room quiet and uncomfortable.

Percy jokes, "Look at baby Teddy!" Teddy shoves his brother which just makes some light laughter come out.

Euphemia looks at the clock on the desk, it's around noon. Deciding, she turns back to Kreacher, "Send word to the burrow and let Molly know that we're coming for lunch, and possibly staying the night."

Molly perks up at her name as do Arthur and her brothers. They know Euphemia was best friends with their youngest son and are still friends and like siblings with George and Ginny.

Kreacher pops away to fulfill his task, Euphemia speaks to the baby in her arms, "Do you want to see Gran and Pops and all your uncles and aunts? Grandma Molly sent word that everyone was at the burrow right now to visit. Let's get you dressed and packed up then I have to get ready." Baby Teddy just giggles happily while Euphemia walks out of the room with him.

"Grandma Molly?!" Her brothers tease their sister who is red in the cheeks.

Arthur asks Amary, "How is Molly Teddy's grandmother?"

"You both were almost my in-laws, and I consider Teddy my son, hence the grandparents."

[The screen shows a towering lopsided house before going through the door into a living room and dining room where there are lots of people but the majority are redheads. Euphemia walks into the house with Teddy strapped to her chest and a bag over her shoulder.]

[Euphemia doesn't look exhausted anymore, her hair is clean and the bright ginger roots are hidden so her hair is a single dark auburn color, the dark circles under her eyes are no longer and her face is colored with natural makeup so her skin doesn't look dull. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings adorn her body and the scars are hidden underneath a long sleeved blouse, pants, and chunky boots.]

"Phemia, It's good to see you!" A feminine voice speaks with a french accent. A beautiful blonde woman walks over to Euphemia.

"Fleur! It's good to see you as well." Euphemia gives the woman a side hug so as to not crush Teddy. A tall redhead with scars on the side of his face joins the two, "Hi Bill."

The two share a hug as well, "Hello Euphemia, I see you brought little Teddy to see mum." Bill lightly tickles Teddy who squeals.

The guys in the room look at Fleur on screen in awe while lots of the women frown.

"That's William?" Arthur questions his other children about his eldest son.

George and Ginny realize that some of their siblings would already be born, looking at their mother who is pregnant with who would be the twins. "Yeah, Bill is married to Fleur and they have three kids in the future."

"Yeah, Molly has been wanting to see him but I've been busy the last few days. But I knew everyone was coming to visit today so I decided to come." Euphemia tells them and they chat for a moment but Teddy starts squirming wanting to move on. "Do you want to see everyone else Teddy? Alright we'll talk later today you two."

Euphemia goes to pass but pauses, "Bill, Fleur," They look at the woman who sports a knowing but mischievous smile, "Congratulations on the pregnancy."

[Euphemia walks away leaving the two shocked that they are pregnant with a child.]

People chuckle at how she told them. "How did you know?" One of the younger students asks.

"A witch doesn't reveal her secrets." Amary answers mysteriously but looks towards the immortals and shares a mischievous look with an underworld king.

Charlie also appears on screen where Euphemia quickly greets him and chats before moving on, Ginny talks about how Charlie isn't married nor has kids in the future but he does work with dragons in Romania.

Percy shows up, who Euphemia also quickly greets and chats with before spotting another redhead. George explains that Percy works in the ministry and he's married to Audrey with two daughters.

[Euphemia walks towards a plump redheaded woman who is in the kitchen, Molly is cooking and some of the pots stir themselves.]

"Knock knock, I'm here to deliver an excited baby to a wanting grandmother." Euphemia says while Teddy excitedly squeals and giggles at Molly who spins around at the sound.

Taking Teddy out the baby wrap and handing him over to a smiling Molly, "Hello little darling!" Looking at Euphemia who leans against the counter, "How are you dear?"

"I'm managing." Letting out a deep sigh, "I don't know how you or my parents managed to raise kids in the last war, between Teddy and my work on repairs, I hardly have any time for myself. If I didn't have Kreacher, I would have gone crazy."

Molly pats her shoulder, "It's because we had our husbands to rely on, You're by yourself all the time with just Teddy and Kreacher. You know you always come here and I can watch Teddy while you work or enjoy yourself."

Giving the woman a sad smile as she thought of her lost fiance, "Thank you Molly, I might just leave England and the wizarding world for a while. People keep sending letters about interviews on the war and the looks I get when I go out. I know I technically ended the war, but it wasn't just me."

"Why don't you put up your stuff in the room and just relax? I'll look after Teddy for a little while. I believe George and Ginny are in their rooms." Molly shoos her out of the kitchen.

[Euphemia sets her bag in Ron's old room, looking around at it for a while before heading down to the twins room.]

[Inside is George laying down staring at Fred's bed. On the nightstand is a moving picture of Fred and Euphemia smiling brightly together as she holds up her hand with her engagement ring, the photo shows the two looking at each other as their eyes soften with love. But the moment was interrupted when George, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione crash them into a hug but all share big smiles. The photo was taken right after he proposed.]

Euphemia takes off her boots and plops and lays down on George's back and wraps her arms around him as they both stare at Fred's bed. "Hi George." She quietly whispers to him.

"Hi Phemia." He whispers back as he holds her hand to his chest.

They lay there for a few seconds absorbed in memories, "Managing?" She whispers to him.

"Yeah, managing."

[It's silent again.]

The hall is uncomfortable at the private moment of loss and grief that the two are sharing. The moment of love between Fred and Euphemia warmed many hearts but they hurt for the woman.

"Teddy missed his Uncle." George gains a smile on his face at her words. "He missed his aunt too. How about we grab said uncle and aunt then head downstairs with the rest of the family so he can see his aunt and uncle?" She hums.

George sits up making Euphemia fall off onto the bed, almost falling on the floor but grabbing hold of George to stop her descent like it's a habit of theirs. "You got yourself a deal. Let's grab Ginny then see that baby."

Fabian and Gideon question then niece and nephew "What about you two? Married? Kids? Work?" Those from the trio's era suddenly get reminded of Fred and George.

Ginny speaks up first, "I'm married with three kids. I used to play Quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies but now I work for the Quidditch correspondent of the Daily Prophet."

"While I am married with two kids and I own the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes business." George tells his family.

[George, Ginny, and Euphemia sit on a blanket in the backyard of the burrow. Teddy lays on his tummy with some toys around him.]

Euphemia hesitates before stating, "I'm planning on leaving England. Leaving the wizarding world." The other two who look at her are shocked before sharing a look.

"Do it."

Euphemia looks at Ginny in surprise. "Ginny's right, Leave. Take a break, grieve. Find peace for yourself." George tells her.

"You haven't found peace for yourself. You haven't been okay since Cedric and Sirius' death. You watched a guy you loved be killed trying to protect you. You have been through so much." Ginny tells her sister.

George wonders when the last time it was since Euphemia cried, "You watched your godfather die in front of you. You've been caught up with the war that you don't even take a break. So go, leave. Find peace for yourself."

Euphemia starts to cry as her brother and sister hug her close. Teddy starts to cry as well which makes Euphemia sniffle holding the baby close. "We'll be okay Teddy."

"We'll always be okay. I promise you that."

Amos tears up at the mention of his son, he didn't want to find out that his son perished in the war. But he is proud that he at least protected the girl that he loved.

Sirius is shocked that Amary watched him die. He figured that he died as they stated that Amary took over after him but he didn't think that his goddaughter watched him die.

James and Remus comfort their friend as Peter looks on at them. James is shocked that his brother is dead and his daughter had to watch. He calms himself down to comfort his brother.

Regulus sports a small frown at the mention of his older brother's death. Andromeda, tears up at the mention of Sirius' death. Narcissa and Bellatrix share a look.

Everyone takes a moment before the screen starts up again.

[The screen shows a graveyard, it's dusk. It's snowy now instead of the summer from the last screen.]

[The words 'A few months later' are shown on screen.]

[Walking into the graveyard is a woman who has a bundled up baby strapped to her chest. It follows after the woman before she stops before a grave. The grave shown is James and Lily Potter.]

James and Lily gasp at the sight of their grave, their loved ones comfort them as they all continue watching.

[The screen spins showing Euphemia bundled up in her coats and hat where Teddy is much the same wrapped to her chest. Euphemia puts down a ring of flowers for her parents, before moving a few feet away before stopping again.]

[This grave shows Remus and Nymphadora Lupin. Euphemia gives them some flowers as well. Teddy starts to cry in which Euphemia comforts him and calms him down. She holds Teddy close, gently rocking him as he calms. Giving him a loving kiss on the head.]

Remus looks pale at the sight of his grave, where he is comforted by his friends. Andromeda and Ted hold each other close at the sight of their daughter's grave. Narcissa and Bellatrix glance at their sister before looking away in case she catches their eye.

[This grave shows the name Sirius Black. Euphemia gives Sirius some flowers as well but decides to sit down in front of his grave.]

Sirius gags a little at his own grave but calms down at the comfort of his friends.

The Black's look at Sirius before looking away, the only one who makes eye contact with Sirius is Andromeda.

"You know Sirius, I could always talk to you and you allowed me a lot of freedom. You wanted me to have fun and adventure even if it was dangerous. I never thanked you for that. You told me to feel confident in my choices and because of that, I fell in love, hard. Others were wary of my relationship with Cedric and Fred since both were okay with each other but you reassured me that it was my choice." Euphemia starts to cry.

Sirius gets up and hugs Amary who hugs back just as tight. They sit together beside her parents who are happy that she had Sirius for a time. Teddy is hugged by Remus while Percy is in the arms of his grandmother while his great grandparents sit beside him.

"I'm leaving. I'm leaving England and the wizarding world. Teddy and I are going to explore America for a while. I need a break so I'm leaving. Hopefully getting away for a while will help."

[Euphemia lets out a deep breath before getting up and walking to the entrance of the graveyard before stopping. Turning around, Euphemia faces the camera as she smiles warmly. Teddy's face lights up with a big toothless smile as he giggles.]

"We love you guys." Euphemia says as the camera shows their view. There, standing behind their graves, are the ghosts of Lily, James, Sirius, Remus, and Tonks who are smiling at their children.

Everyone is shocked at the sight of the ghosts, except for Euphemia and Hades.

"How, dear girl?" Dumbledore asks Amary.

She tenses her jaw but quickly relaxes it, giving a fake smile, "I'm sorry but I cannot say." The Slytherins clock her fake smile towards Dumbledore as do her closest loved ones.

Nobody truly knows the extent of which Dumbledore has wronged Euphemia Potter, how much she spurns him for it.

[The screen does a rewind before stopping. '1995' The outside of Gryfindor tower is shown on screen. It focuses on a window where Euphemia and Fred sit in the window seat, talking. Spanning to inside the tower, the two are lit by the bright half moon.]

Euphemia looks to Fred who is staring outside, "You know, I'm glad my attempts failed in the past."

A feeling of dread fills the room. Amary sinks in her seat and stares at her hands in her lap. Amary's loved ones look at her in concern.

"Attempt? What do you mean?" Fred questions her.

Looking out the window instead of at him, "When I was younger, I attempted to drown myself in the river by the Dursley's house. But I always woke back up on the bank of the river, still alive." Fred stares at his love in shock.

Poseidon whimpers loudly. Staring at his love with horror, she tried to drown herself when he had control over water. The other immortals are shocked that she chose part of Poseidon's domain to take her own life as a child.

Percy stares at his mom, remembering his own dark moments in which he wished he could drown but couldn't due to being able to breath but his mother didn't have that immunity. She could have drowned.

Teddy looks at his mom, knowing that she's been through a lot and isn't as surprised that she tried at least once. Ginny and George also aren't as surprised but they hurt knowing that she did reach that point in her life.

Her parents, grandparents, Sirius, Remus, Molly, and Arthur are horrified.

Draco is shocked that she's tried that.

Amary's loved ones crowd her and all squish together before the hall expands the couch so they can all sit comfortably.

Fred looks devastated at her words but she continues speaking, "Even with all my failed attempts, that river became my safe place."

[Fred brings her close into his arms, reassuring himself that she's there. She leans against him as he kisses her cheek.]

"You know, that river connects to the ocean. One day I want to see the ocean." Euphemia tells Fred whilst staring outside.

"I'll take you one day." Fred promises.

[The screen changes to a sunny sandy beach. The vast ocean showed in front of them. Euphemia is shown on screen with dark hair, holding Teddy. Teddy is a few years older that the mere infant he was when last on screen. 'June 4, 2000' is shown on screen.]

[Euphemia is dressed in a two piece red bikini, her scars are on show and she sports a healthy tan with obvious tanlines from her clothes. She looks healthier and happier than when they last seen her at the Weasley's and in the graveyard.]

Setting down Teddy as he sports matching red trunks and floaties on his arms with a mini life vest on, looking absolutely adorable. "Teddy, be careful."

[Said boy tries to run towards the ocean but is struggling on the sand. Every time he almost face plants, Euphemia catches his arm and rights his stance. She sets down her bag on their part of the private beach, spotting their cabin from where they are.]

The parents in the hall nod at her quick catches, That second sense comes to life once you have a kid.

She sets up quickly whilst preventing Teddy from running off. "Okay Teddy, Let's go."

[Picking up the toddler, she walks to the ocean and holds him up whilst he kicks his feet in the water, laughing and shrieking. Going a little deeper, she dunks him quickly before pulling him backup which shocks him for a moment before he bursts out laughing.]

[They spend a lot of time playing in the water, which Teddy loves.]

Amary shakes her head with a laugh, "Teddy was as bad as Percy when it came to water. I had to fight to get them out of the water and prevent them from going into some random water."

Teddy and Percy go red in the face while Poseidon nods with a laugh, "There were times I had to take control of the water and keep it out of reach just so she could get them."

Looking out at sea, Euphemia quietly says to herself, "I've finally seen the sea Freddie.

[A little later while sitting on the shore, where the water passes over their legs, Euphemia sits with Teddy as she shows him some of the shells and rocks around them. The shadow of a man stops next to them, turning to look, Euphemia can barely make out his features with the sun in her eyes.]

[Picking up Teddy as she stands, she looks at the man. He's tall and muscular with tan skin, dark hair, and a bright smile as he looks at them. His eyes are a brilliant sea green.]

People immediately turn towards Poseidon who looks the same as he did back then.

Aphrodite wonders if Poseidon stayed looking the same for Amary, typically the other gods changed their mortal appearances at will every few years, some may keep some of the same features but ultimately different enough. Poseidon however, seems to have stayed exactly the same as he did that day.

[The aura, hidden from all but her, surrounding him; however, is the same as the timeless, dark skinned man with the wings with whom she met upon her death.]

The hall, except the gods, look at her in confusion. While the gods are shocked that she saw death in his true form, well, as true as possible.

"Who is the timeless man with wings?" Ted Tonks questions.

Amary sighs, knowing everyone will eventually find out. "Thanatos, The god of death."

That clears up why she saw him upon her death then but doesn't explain what aura she saw even how she saw the aura.

[The aura of someone not under her control, like the other mortals are.]

Alarmed looks are shared throughout the room as people wonder what she means. Not even the gods know, well except for one in the room.

But before people can even question her, the screen starts up which makes her sigh in relief.

[The aura of an immortal. The deaths of said immortals are in the hands of the fates themselves but the death of mortals are in the hands of her.]

"Can I help you, sir?" Euphemia questions while Teddy also looks at the man.

The man shakes out of his stupor at her beauty, just noticing a faint subtle aura around Euphemia. "I saw you both from down the beach and wanted to just talk."

Almost all are wondering about that aura around her but notice that it's not there anymore. (More like she hid it better.)

"So you've been watching us?" She questions as her lips quirk.

He stammers out, "No! Well yes, but not-" He's stops at her laughter in which Teddy joins in.

Everyone is shocked at Poseidon's stammering. Amary forgot how bad Poseidon wanted to impress her but still managed to mess up sometimes which only made her more attracted. Now they both had a good grasp on how to interact with each other.

"I'm just messing with you. What's your name?" Euphemia looks up at him with her pretty green eyes.

"Neptune."

Snorts and laughter is heard through the room. Everyone can tell she's going to clock that name immediately. He might as well have given her his actual name.

She smirks, "Like the Roman god? Isn't his Greek name, Poseidon, who is god of the sea?" Looking at him with knowing eyes, before glancing from the ocean and back to him.

"Yes, to both those questions." Knowing that she knows. "What's your name?"

Looking out at sea, she decides, "Amary." Looking back at the god, "Amary Jackson." Solidifying her new name separate from Euphemia Potter, the girl who lived, the savior.

Bouncing Teddy in her arms, "And this is Teddy Lupin. My adopted son."

Teddy reaches out his hand, in which Neptune grabs it and gently shakes the toddlers hand, "Nice to meet you Teddy." The boy giggles at him.

"Would you like to talk some more?" Neptune gestures up the beach towards where her stuff lays.

She pauses for a moment, "Aren't the gods married?" Side eyeing the man beside her.

People eye Poseidon who sits beside his love, especially Amary's family.

"Yes but recently Poseidon and Amphitrite had a divorce." Neptune tells her.

"Gods can get divorced?" People question.

The gods roll their eyes while Hera scowls at the topic, "Yes, but it's very uncommon."

Feeling bad for bringing it up, "Sorry," but she is cut off.

"It's quite alright, it was mutual. They still live and rule together as king and queen, they just aren't together anymore." He explains a little more.

[Amary shares a look with Neptune before the three spend the rest of the day together, having fun and enjoying the company of someone else. This was the start of their story and the prelude of a hero destined.]
