Heroes | PJOxHP | WTM/RTB [HIATUS]

Summary:

Watching the Movies and Reading the Books

Two worlds, Three Wars. Two Heroes, Three Prophecies.
Valentina Allen never expected to be at the forefront of 3 wars, but that comes with being friends with heroes.

Percy Jackson x OC x Annabeth Chase

Notes:

The timeline and ages might be a little messed up, but I tried my best. My math isn't always correct.

I have a very rough timeline of the events, so I'm just going off that outline. I'm basically winging it because I'm so excited to just start writing.

Also, I apologize if the updates don't come quickly. Stuff in my life is picking up, and I have to write everything on my phone.

Let's just get into it. If you have any questions, let me know! Enjoy the story!

Chapter 1: Story Changes and Information

Chapter Text

Here's some information that you need before starting the story.

This is a crossover story of the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and the Heroes of Olympus.

This is watching the movies and reading the books. They will be watching the Harry Potter movies while reading the Percy Jackson books.

The Harry Potter series takes place in 2005 to 2012 instead of the 90s.
Which means they are also born later.
Harry was born July 31, 1995, instead of 1980. All the ages are adjusted from his.

The Hogwarts year is going to end earlier than June, but other than that, the timelines pretty much line up.

This is a Percy Jackson x Valentina Allen (OC) x Annabeth Chase story. Originally the ship was just with Percy however, Percabeth is iconic so I decided to just make it poly.

I will be changing some key things in stories. For example, I might change some prophecies like the Prophecy of the Seven and make it 8 instead. (Idk I haven't gotten that far)

Chapter 2: Cast

Notes:

This chapter is optional! This is just who I imagine the characters as.

Chapter 3: Arrival

Chapter Text

The great hall was filled with the sounds of life. The cacophony of a mix of voices, laughter, creaking benches, and scrapping of silverware. The Ravenclaw table quietly speaks to each other while the Hufflepuff table is normally lively. However, they are silently mourning the loss of their own. The Slytherin table is quietly whispering about the Dark Lord. Lastly, the Gryffindor table is by far the loudest, with people laughing and talking to each other from down the table.

Near the middle of the table sat a group of 4 students, Hermione and Ron sat across from Harry and Valentina. Hermione looked worriedly at him, quietly moving his food around before looking at Valentina, who sat next to Harry. She was quietly eating. Her movements were precise as she stared down at her food, not making eye contact with the others. Her hair is absent of the streaks of color through her silky light brown, which showed her emotions.

Hermione nudges Ron, making him grunt before looking at her with his mouth full, questioning. She tilts her head to the silent two of the group. He looks where motioned. Swallowing, "Are you two alright?"

Valentina looks up from her food and gives her friends a beautiful smile, "I'm wonderful. Why would I not be?" Harry just hums in agreement while rubbing the back of his scarred hand.

Before either of their friends can argue, the door to the great hall bursts open, making everyone look over. There stands Amelia Bones, the minister of magic; Cornelius Fudge, some aurors like Mad Eye Moody and Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, a black dog; Padfoot, the Malfoys, the Weasley’s, Eleanor Allen; Valentina's stepmother, and Elliott Allen; Valentina's uncle.

When Padfoot sees Harry, he runs over and jumps at him, which makes the boy smile; relieving his friends, not liking when the boy is upset.

Dumbledore stands up to greet the guests, "Welcome, It's a pleasure. However, may I ask why you are all here?"

"We all received a letter telling us to come here immediately." Amelia Bones tells the man.

"We never sent out any letters, Madam Bones." McGonagall tells the woman, which makes everyone else more alert and everyone anxious. Some people pull out their wands, but Valentina's hand reaches for her bracelet.

There is a flash of light and standing in the room is a large group of people which makes everyone on edge and pointing their wands at the people. "What is the meaning of this?!" A booming voice speaks as thunder and lighting crack outside. The only ones not very nervous are the Allen family, but everything is so chaotic that no one notices the calm family.

Valentina stands up, which gathers some attention from those around her. Walking towards the group of strangers, which gains the rest of the rooms attention, including the new people.

"Val."
"Valentina"
They call out to her with smiles. She hugs some of the teenager, which shocks her friends, as they forget that she has friends from her summer camp. She sometimes mentions them, but she doesn't ever tell much about them. Her hair shines with vibrant streaks of yellow and pink, showing the happiness and love she has for the group.

A woman steps forward from the group that radiated power, She's absolutely beautiful, making the room in awe of her.

She holds Valentina's cheek softly, smiling at the girl. "Hello dear." Recognizing the woman, Eleanor Allen purses her lips at the woman's history with her family.

"Hi, mum." It's soft enough that only those around them can hear them, not wanting to stir up chaos.

The reunion between mother and daughter is cut short by the appearance of three women. Their appearance made those who knew the women tense.

"We are the fates." Which makes those who know about Greek mythology nervous while those who didn't just looked at them in confusion.

"We are here to unite two worlds through two separate heroes who are connected by one person." This makes Valentina tense up as the streaks turn into light grayish purple, those who know about her glance at her tense form. Percy squeezes her hand while Annabeth squeezes Val's arm in reassurance.

"The story of these three people's lives will be shown so you may learn from your mistakes and change your rules in hopes that it will save many lives."

Percy looks at Valentina to see her looking in apologies as blue shows her sadness for him. She looks past him towards the table of red and gold at a bespectacled boy. The boy is already looking at her as she gives him a grim look.

"The two heroes are Harry Potter and Perseus Jackson." The room looks at the hero that they know. While the two look at each other.

"That means we win the war against You-Know-Who." Ron whispered to his friends that were sitting around him.

"They are connected through Valentina Allen." This makes everyone look at the girl. The wizarding world is shocked while the demigods feel bad that her secret is being told to everyone.

"No one can leave Hogwarts until the stories have been told. Time shall remain frozen until these stories are told." The fates spoke.

"There will be movies following Harry Potter and Valentina Allen's at Hogwarts and in the wizarding world. While her time with Percy Jackson and the Greek world will be told through books through Percy's eyes."

"It's going to be told through Percy's perspective. That's going to be fun." Chuckles sound from those who know Percy while he makes a fake offended face.

"The stories consist of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone." Which makes those who know what truly happened grimace.

"Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief." Ares glares at Percy at the reminder of their fight.

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." This makes Ginny shiver at the memories.

"Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters." Those there shutter at the memories.

"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban." Padfoot whimpers at the remembrance of the prison.

"Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse." Those that experienced it touch their gray streaks.

"Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth."

"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." This makes Harry look down, remembering the third tournament.

"Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian."

"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." Those in the order share a look.

"From this point, you will be introduced to the future." This makes everyone look around nervous for what the future will reveal.

"The books will no longer just be Percy's view as a new prophecy will be foretold." This makes them all upset at the news of a new prophecy.

"The future stories are Heroes of Olympus and the Son of Neptune." This makes the Greeks look towards Percy as he's the only demigod son of Poseidon.

"Heroes of Olympus and the Mark of Athena." They look towards the goddess then Annabeth, figuring that this will revolve around the mother and daughter.

"Heroes of Olympus and the House of Hades." This makes them look towards Hades and Nico, who are the only known (for now) of Hades bloodline.

"Heroes of Olympus and the Blood of Olympus."

"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince." This makes Snape's head snap up at this.

"And lastly, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

They disappear, leaving behind books and a screen just behind the teacher table as the room transforms the tables and chairs into comfy seats for people to sit down.

Valentina steps forward, gaining the attention, "I guess we should introduce ourselves. Valentina Allen, Daughter of Aphrodite." This makes the wizarding world confused as they look between her and Eleanor Allen. "I'm sure you're confused, but it will all be revealed later."

"Wait a minute, Aphrodite. Like the Greek goddess Aphrodite?" Someone calls out.

"Yes, the Greek gods and goddesses are real and present, but I'm assuming everything will be revealed later."

The boy beside her steps forward, "Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon."

"Sally Jackson, Percy's mother."

"Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena." The blonde on Valentina's other side steps forward.

"Grover Underwood, a satyr." People look at his goat legs in shock.

"Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus."

"Clarisse La Rue, daughter of Ares."

"Will Solstice, son of Apollo."

"Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades."

From the group that radiated power stepped a man. "Zeus, King of Gods, God of lightning and thunder."

"Hera, Queen of gods, Goddess of marriage."

"Poseidon, King of the Sea, God of earthquakes, droughts, floods, and horses."

"Hades, King of the underworld, God of riches and the dead."

"Hestia, Goddess of hearth, fire, home, and family.

"Demeter, Goddess of harvest and agriculture."

"Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty."

"Athena, Goddess of reason, wisdom, and battle strategy.

"Artemis, Goddess of the hunt."

"Apollo, God of music, poetry, and archery."

"Ares, God of war."

"Dionysus, God of wine and madness."

"Hephaestus, God of fire and metal work."

"Hermes, God of travel, thieves, and communication."

"Hecate, Goddess of magic and the mist."

"Let's get started. The people from the wizarding world are about to be introduced, so they don't really need introductions."

Chapter 4: Doorstep Delivery

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

[It is nighttime in Surrey. We see an owl on the street sign "PRIVET DRIVE" and the camera pans to the street with very identical looking brown bricked houses.]

Harry recognizes the street he lives on, wondering why this is being shown.

[The owl flies away and an elderly man with crimson robes and a long silvery white beard named Albus Dumbledore walks out of a forest near the street, past a tabby cat standing next to what looks like a shed.]

"That's my street. Why are you there, professor?" Harry wonders why his professor is there.

"I am unsure,my boy. Perhaps it will show why."

[He takes out his deluminator and activates it. Dumbledore zaps all the light out of the lampposts. He puts away the device and a cat meows. Dumbledore looks down at the cat.]

"Is that Professor McGonagall?" Valentina recognizes the animagus from her seat next to Percy with Annabeth on his other side.

The people in the hall voice their agreement, also recognizing the cat form of their professor. The professor in question looks at herself on screen.

The Greeks look confused at the screen.

"I should have known that you would be  here...Professor McGonagall ."

[The cat silently looks at him, and the camera turns towards a wall. The cat's shadow turns into a woman with a tall hat and emerald robes. There are  footsteps and  Minerva McGonagall is revealed.]

This shocks the Greeks who don't know about the wizarding world.

"How?! Mortals do not have the power to shapeshift!" Zeus shouts

"We use magic. Not everyone has this ability. It is possible to gain this skill, however." McGonagall address.

Hermione gains the attention when she starts speaking, "However there are shape-shifting abilities that can't be taught, for example, Tonks and Valentina are metamorphmagus' they have the ability to change their appearance at will. This ability is only available through genetics." Hermione gestures to Tonks so the Greeks know who she's talking about.

Tonk nodded with a cheeky smile when the Greeks looked towards her. Thalia glances the woman over, liking her style.

"Good evening, Professor Dumbledore. Are the rumors true, Albus?" McGonagall speaks in a tearful voice.

"What rumors?" The question is murmured throughout the hall.

"I'm afraid so, Professor. The good, and the bad." Dumbledore's twinkle is gone from his eyes.

"And the boy?"

"Hagrid is bringing him."

Dumbledore and McGonagall realize what day this is. They share a look.

"Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?" McGonagall questions the man.

"Ah, Professor, I would trust Hagrid with my life."

"Thank you, Professor." Hagrid smiles at the man. His size shocked the Greeks a little.

[There is a motor sound, an d the two professors look up to see a flying motorcycle coming down from the air. It skids on the street and halts. A large man with  shoulder- length  black hair and beard named Rubeus Hagrid takes off his goggles.]

Padfoot yips at the sight of his old bike.

"I want one!" The Weasley twins yell out.

"They remind me of the Stolls." Annabeth says to her friends.

"Professor Dumbledore, Sir. Professor McGonagall." Hagrid nods at the two professors with something bundled in his arms.

"No problems, I trust, Hagrid?" Dumbledore assures.

"No, sir. Little tyke fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol. Heh. Try not to wake him. There you go."

[Hagrid hands a baby wrapped in a bundle over to Dumbledore.]

Harry has a feeling this has to do with him, so he sits more at attention.

"Albus, do you really think it's safe, leaving him with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst sort of Muggles imaginable. They really are…" McGonagal l questions the thoughts of this idea.

Harry quickly realizes what day this is making him scowl.

"They are the only family he has." Dumbledore assures the woman.

"Some family they are," Harry murmurs. Only heard by his friends sitting around him, which makes them glance at him in question.

[They stop outside a  house which  is 4 Privet Drive.]

Ron and Hermione recognize the house and address, understanding why he was upset. Now realizing who the baby is.

"This boy will be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know his name."

"Exactly. He's better off growing up away from all that. Until he is ready."

[Dumbledore places the baby on the ground slowly. Hagrid sniffles , he  is sobbing a little. He clears his throat. McGonagall is patting her tears with her handkerchief.]

"There, there, Hagrid. It's not really goodbye, after all." Dumbledore pats the man's shoulder.

[Hagrid nods. Dumbledore takes a letter and places it on the baby, who is now at the foot of the door.]

"Good luck... Harry Potter."

"Thanks, I'm going to need it." Harry scowls.

"You just left him there?!" The mothers in the hall yelling at the man.

People around the hall looked at the boy mentioned.

[The baby has a lightning-bolt shaped scar on his forehead. The camera slowly zooms towards the  scar which  glows  brightly and  it immediately flashes, transitioning to a stormy cloud sky. The film's title in metallic gold zooms out around the camera, and lightning flashes to brighten it up. Then, the lightning flashes engulf the screen, transitioning it to the present time.]

Chapter 5: The Vanishing Glass

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

[The scar's glow immediately dies down, and the camera pans to see Harry, who is now 10 years old, still sleeping. Then, the light turns on outside his bedroom cupboard under the stairs]

The great hall is filled with a chilled silence as everyone looks at Harry, who is looking down at the floor.

"Harry." Hermione softly speaks his name that resonates through the deafening quiet room.

"I don't want to talk about it." He stops the conversation before it can start.

Strands of pale red and blue appear in Valentina's hair, upset at herself for being unaware of how bad Harry's situation was. He never told her it was this bad.

Amelia Bones furiously writes in her notebook before everyone turns back to the screen.

"Up! Get up!" Petunia knocks on his closet door repeatedly. "Now!" She smacks the door of the closet and walks into the living room.

The woman's shrill voice makes the majority of the room cover their ears. Padfoot whimpers as he attempts to cover his ears with his paws.

"Who is that?" Someone in the hall asks.

"My aunt." Harry answers with a voice full of distaste.

[Harry wakes up, turns on his bedroom light, and puts on his glasses with tape on the bridge, indicating that it was partly damaged. A large, tubby boy, Dudley Dursley, suddenly comes running down the stairs above the closet. He stops halfway down and goes back, jumping on the staircase.]

"Wake up, cousin! We're going to the zoo!" Dudley yells.

"That's your cousin? He looks like a seal." Draco comments.

[Harry looks up to the join works of the stairs with small amounts of dusts rising. Dudley laughs, comes down the stairs, and runs for the kitchen. Harry tries to come out of the closet but is pushed back in by Dudley. Petunia is in the kitchen, where Dudley has gone.]

People yell at the boy on the screen, angry for shoving Harry. Padfoot growls as Remus tries to calm the animagus even if he is also furious.

The red turns a shade dark in Val's hair, so Percy grabs her hand to help calm her a little. She squeezes his hand and scoots closer to his side.

"Here he comes, the birthday boy!" Petunia's shrill voice sounded through the room.

"Happy birthday, son."

[Petunia and Dudley giggle together. Harry comes into the kitchen, dressed in outgrown clothes.]

"Did they not give you fitted clothes?" Aphrodite questions.

"They were Dudley's old clothes. That's why they were so big on me." Val remembers the first time she met Harry, remembering the oversized clothes that draped over his small frame.

"You didn't even get your own clothes." Amelia shakes her head as she continues to take notes.

"Why don't you just cook breakfast and try not to burn anything." Petunia says to Harry with distaste.

"Yes, Aunt Petunia." The boy says as he goes to work on the bacon.

"They made you cook?" Ron questions. Harry just nods.

"How long have you been cooking?" McGonagall questions, hating that she never checked in on the son of some of her favorite students.

"Since I could reach the stove." Harry just shrugs while Amelia is shaking her head, writing down everything.

"I want everything to be perfect for my Dudley's special day." Petunia smiles at her son.

"Hurry up! Bring my coffee, boy!" Vernon shouts at Harry, who is placing the bacon on the plates.

"He's Not A House Elf!" People shout at the screen. The red gets a little darker.

"Yes, Uncle Vernon."

[Petunia leads Dudley over to the family room, where there are a vast amount of presents. Dudley stares.]

"Aren't they wonderful, darling?"

"How many are there?"

"36. Counted 'em myself." Vernon says proudly.

"Why is he so proud of himself? That's not a feat." Clarisse rolled her eyes. This makes people laugh.

"Wow, you can count. Congrats." Harry mumbles under his breath, the family of three not hearing him.

"36?! But last year... last year I had 37!!" Dudley starts throwing a fit.

Everyone is shocked by his spoiledness. (I don't think that's a word, but whatever.)

"Err, yes, well, some of them are quite a bit bigger than last year."

"I don't care how big they are!" Dudley yells at his parents.

The purebloods are horrified knowing that if they talked to their parents that way, then spells and curses would be thrown.

"Oh, now, now, now. This is what we're going to do, is that when we go out, we're going to buy you two new presents! How's that, pumpkin?" Petunia manages to calm the boy down.

"Don't encourage him!" The mothers in the room shout at the screen.

[Outside the house in the morning. The happy family is heading to the car.]

"This will be a lovely day at the zoo. I'm really looking forward to it."

[Harry then goes to go in the car, but Vernon stops him, pointing his keys at him.]

Padfoot starts growling from his seat between Harry and Remus.

Harry just pats the dogs head, which calms him while Remus shakes his head at his friend but also angry at the man on screen.

Percy sympathizes with the boy, remembering when they lived with Gabe. Percy catches a glimpse of red in his peripheral vision. Looking he sees, there are multiple strands of a no longer pale red in Val's hair.

He stands, gaining a bit of attention, gesturing for Val to move to his seat. The red fades a bit as she scoots to sit beside Annabeth, Percy sits in her seat and squishes the witch between him and the blonde. The red gives way to pink as Annabeth grabs her hand, and Percy wraps his arm around her shoulders.

"I'm warning you now, boy. Any funny business, any at all, and you won't have any meals for a week. Get in."

People scream and curse at the man on the screen about abuse.

A fierce growl rips out of Remus' throat paired with Padfoots while Harry sinks in his seat, wanting to hide from the world.

The red in Val's hair comes back full force and a shade darker. Annabeth and Percy are furious knowing the boy is like a brother to Valentina.

The Greeks are also angry. Making the room chaotic as the gods' powers show a little. It's brighter and darker, warmer and colder, the ground and sky rumbling. The demigods' fingers twitch to their weapons.

"Everyone, please calm yourselves so we can continue." McGonagall speaks over the hall, making people calm down even if she herself looks angry.

[At the London Zoo, the Dursley family is in the reptile house, looking at a large Boa constrictor.]

"Make it move." Dudley tells his father.

"Move!" Vernon taps the glass.

"MOVE!" Dudley taps the glass much harder, making Vernon nervously wince.

The slytherins are furious at the disrespect to the snake, which is their house symbol. While the animal lovers glare at the boy on screen.

"He's asleep!" Harry tells the boy, making him stop smacking the glass.

"He's boring." Dudley and his parents head over to another enclosure while Harry is left with the snake.

"Sorry about him. He doesn't understand what it's like, lying there day after day, having people press their ugly faces in on you." The snake looks up and blinks. "Can you...hear me?" Harry questions with excitement.

The Greeks, except Hecate, are a little confused as to how the boy can speak to snakes.

The people who didn't know or forgot that Harry is a parselmouth start whispering to each other. The name gains the Greeks' attention.

"What's a parselmouth?" Annabeth asks her girlfriend.

Her question gains the rest of the attention of the Greeks who focus on them.

"A parselmouth is someone who can speak parseltongue, which is the language of serpents. It's a very rare skill that is typically hereditary in the family line of Salazar Slytherin." Val informs them as Hecate nods along with the witch.

"It's typically associated with dark wizards because of the known users of the past." Hecate adds.

"Is Harry related to this Slytherin man?" Sally asks.

"No, how he got this ability will be explained in the Chamber of Secret movie." Val reassures the others.

The screen unpausing catches everyone's attention again.

The snake nods. "It's just...I've never talked to a snake before. Do you...I  mean...do you  talk to people often?" The snake shakes its head. "You're from Burma, aren't you? Was it nice there? Do you miss your family?" The snake turns its head in the direction of a sign which says, Bred in Captivity. "I see. That's me as well. I never knew my parents, either." Harry continues speaking to the snake.

The reminder of Harry's parents makes everyone feel somber.

[The now awake snake has attracted Dudley's attention. He comes over to the glass, knocking Harry to the floor.]

People shout at the boy on screen for pushing Harry. The red gets a slight darker. Annabeth and Percy look at their girlfriend, whose hair is majority blood red. They share a look over behind her head, knowing they have to calm her down before she gets too angry. They hold her while whispering in her ear.

"Calm down, flirty. He's okay and sitting here in the room." Annabeth reassures her girlfriend while her arms wrapped around her right arm, holding her hand, and the other softly rubs her leg.

"Wise girl is right, Harry is perfectly fine. See look." Percy has his arm wrapped around her shoulders, playing with her and Annabeth's hair while his other hand is clasped around her hand.

They look over to see Harry sitting uncomfortably in his seat while Padfoot barks, switching between the screen and the teenage boy. Remus is trying to get the dog to shut up, but the dog is avoiding him.

Hermione is quietly whispering to Ron then she glances at Valentina for if she knew to which she shrugs, tilting her head side to side before shaking it, telling them she didn't know about this stuff and clearly she didn't know enough.

Hermione sighs before turning back to Harry, who has Ron talking quietly to him.

Val settles back in her seat, calmer than she was, Harry was safe and was in his seat a few yards away. The red settles down back into a pale red.

"Mummy, dad, come here! You won't believe what this snake is doing!" Dudley looks to his parents, yelling for them.

[Dudley puts his hands on the glass wall. With his back turned, Harry glares at him. Suddenly, the glass disappears, causing Dudley to wretch forward, losing his balance.]

"Whoa! Ahh! Ahh!!" Dudley falls into the snake enclosure, sputtering in a pool of water.

People start laughing their arse off, including some of the gods and teachers.

The Weasley twins, Percy and Grover, are cracking up so hard they are struggling to breathe; following behind them are Hermes and Apollo.

Padfoot is letting out barks that sound like laughter, and Remus is letting out chuckles. Annabeth covers her laughing with her hand while red gives way to yellow as Val laughs.

The room brightens as the laughter and joy fills the room.

[Harry snickers at what he saw. The snake gets out of the exhibit, stopping in front of Harry.]

"Thanksss." The snake hisses out.

"Anytime." The snake slivers off to the exit.

"SNAKE!" A man yells. There are a lot of people screaming throughout the reptile house as the snake heads for freedom.

[Dudley gets up to get out, but the glass is now back over the enclosure. Seeing that he is now trapped, he pounds the glass in panic.]

"Mum, mummy!"

"AHH!" Petunia notices him in the exhibit.

"Mum, help! Help me!" Dudley pounds on the glass.

"My darling boy! How did you get in there?! How did you get in there? Dudley, oh, Dudley!" Petunia looks around for an exit to the enclosure.

[Harry grins and snickers, Vernon notices this and glares down at him. Harry's grin disappears, knowing that he is in trouble with Vernon.]

The laughter dies down, knowing Harry's about to get into trouble. Everyone is worried for the boy. Gray streaks appear in Val's hair in her worry.

Chapter Text

[Back at the Dursleys'. Petunia and a bundled up Dudley come in.]

"It's all right, sweetheart. It's all right." Petunia assures a distressed Dudley.

[They walk in the living room. Harry and Vernon enter. Vernon slams the door and shoves Harry against a wall, taking his hair.]

"Ow!" Harry shouts.

People start raging at the man on the screen. Screaming at him while Harry sinks further into his seat. Sirius is growling and barking up a storm and trying to fight the screen but is held back by a furious Remus, who is barely holding himself back as well. Hermione and Ron are angry that Harry, they never found out just how bad Harry's home life is like.

Harry never wanted people to find out about his home life, he always kept quiet about it. The closest he got to speaking about it was when he was telling Val that he sometimes gets bad mouthed and locked up in the house. Even when he told Val that, she was angry that they treated him that way. Speaking of, he looks at said girl.

Val sits stiff between her partners while the demigods cautiously watch her, having seen her rage before. Val's hair is a tress of light brown absent of her emotions, her hands clutched tightly on her lap. She's taking deep breaths before she finally snaps.

"Enlève tes sales mains de lui, sale moldu! Je vais te jeter dans le Tartare et profiter de ta souffrance!" Val stands while yelling at the screen, her hair a blazing red and her face contorted in rage. (Get Your Filthy Hands Off Of Him You Filthy Muggle! I Will Throw You Into Tartarus And Enjoy Your Suffering!)

Those who understand and know French are shocked by her words. The people from the wizarding world are shocked by her outburst, having never seen her this angry before.

"Valentina!" Eleanor yells at her stepdaughter while Elliott looks wide eyed at his niece, proud of her. Her father was known for openly expressing his emotions like all the Allens; however, Eleanor likes to hide her emotions. When Samuel died, Eleanor took on the raising of Valentina mostly alone which greatly influenced the girl.

"Comment ose-t-il mettre la main sur mon frère! Je vais lui couper les mains sales!" Val reaches for her bracelet to get her sword like she's going to crawl through the screen and kill him. (How Dare He Lay His Hands On My Brother! I Will Chop Off His Filthy Hands!)

Percy and Annabeth quickly grab Val before she can cut the screen, "Let's not destroy the screen, even if you are protecting your brother." Annabeth squeezes her hand as she and Percy sit her back down in her seat.

"Wise girl is right, When you calm down why don't you sit with Harry to reassure yourself that he's okay?"

People just watch as the two manage to calm the raging girl. Having never seen Valentina Allen, resident school beauty, lose her cool like that. The purebloods are shocked by her words, the gods not so much.

Once Val calms down, she gives Percy and Annabeth quick kisses which normally last longer but she's still angry and wants to sit by Harry to reassure herself. When Val goes over to where her other friends are sitting, Percy slides down the couch to Annabeth's side wrapping his arms around her.

Hermione and Ron scoot down so Val can sit by Harry's side, not wanting her to rage again. Once she's seated, her hair is full of multiple streaks of colors; gray, pink, red, blue; while the people from the wizarding world just stare at her.

"What language was she speaking? And what did she say?" Someone calls out.

"She was speaking french, she basically threatened him that she would throw him into tartarus and enjoy his suffering. And that she would chop off his hands for laying a hand on her brother." Draco Malfoy answers the person, as he is coming down from his shock.

Harry and Val look at each other, she gives the boy a small smile and he gives one back. Harry's glad that she thinks of him as her brother as she's his sister, even if he's a little surprised.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" Vernon shouts while holding the boy by his hair.

"I swear, I don't know!" Vernon snarls, "One minute, the glass was there and then it was gone! It was like magic!"

[Vernon scoffs at this, shoves Harry in the cupboard under the stairs and slams the door]

"There's no such thing as magic!" He blackens out the vent on the door.

"Yes there is!" People shout at the man. Val glances at Harry to reassure herself that he's okay.

[An owl flies into view and lands itself on a TV aerial on one of the houses' roofs.]

[The camera slowly pans up to reveal Dudley in his smartest school uniform, posing and smiling grandly.]

The fashion obsessed people gag at his uniform while Aphrodite shakes her head, "Absolutely not." Val nods along with her mother.

"Awww, smile." Petunia takes a photograph of him as she gasps in joy. "Vernon, just look at him. I can't believe it. In just a week you'll be off to Smeltings."

"Caveat Smeltona. Proudest moment of my life." Vernon says.

"Will I have to wear that, too?" Harry says which draws their attention to him.

"What, you? Go to Smeltings?" Petunia asks, which makes Harry nod, questionably.

[The Dursleys laugh in amusement while Harry just looks confused.]

"Oh, don't be stupid, you're going to the state school where you belong." Petunia goes to the kitchen and fishes out a gray shirt in a boiler. "And this is what you're gonna be wearing when I've finished dyeing it."

"But that's Dudley's old uniform. It'll fit me like bits of old elephant skin." Harry exclaims.

"It'll fit you well enough. Go get the post. Go!" She dismisses him as he heads to the hallway.

[Harry leaves the living room area into the hallway and picks up some letters, one of which had his name on it with his address of where he slept.]

"He got his letter!" Someone yells which makes people cheer however the cheering soon stops when someone notices the address.

"You knew he lived in the cupboard?!" Many people exclaim which stops the cheering as people look towards the professors.

"We have self addressing quills, however we should perhaps start checking them so this doesn't happen again." McGonagall reassures.

[Uncle Vernon and Dudley sit at the table while Aunt Petunia is busy fixing breakfast. Harry walks in with the mail and hands it to Uncle Vernon, then walks to his seat with his letter.]

"Oh, Marge is ill! Ate a funny whelk." Vernon says after reading a postcard.

"She should have choked on it." Harry murmurs to his friends.

Ron remembers something about the name, "Isn't that the one you..." He trails off making an exploding gesture. Harry nods at Ron's question.

[Dudley suddenly notices Harry's letter and runs to grab it from him and give it to his father.]

People yell at the boy to give it back.

"Dad! Look! Harry's got a letter!" Dudley gives the letter to his father.

"Hey, give it back! It's mine!" Harry yells at them.

"Yours? Who'd be writing to you?" The family gathers to look at the address. There is a broken seal on the letter. The family looks up and Harry gulps.

"The whole of wizarding england!" People yell out while Harry just sinks down. Val pats Harry's shoulder knowing he gets embarrassed and awkward.

[Much later, another owl flies by with a letter and drops it off. Inside, Vernon grabs a handful of letters and rips them up. In the closet, Harry hears a whirring noise. He looks out at Vernon drilling wood over the letterbox opening.]

"No more mail through this letterbox." Vernon says.

[Harry quietly closes the cupboard door. The next day, Vernon and Petunia are outside the door. Vernon is about to head off to work. Petunia kisses his cheek.]

People gag while Padfoot whines and covers his eyes with his paw. Aphrodite sports a pursed frown.

"Have a lovely day at the office, dear." She stops, looks and sees a bunch of owls.

"Shoo! Go on!" Vernon shoos away the owls.

[She notices something and pats Vernon on the shoulder to get his attention, and what they see is more letters addressed to Harry.]

[Later, Petunia is cracking an egg into a bowl, and what instead comes out is a folded-up letter. She cracks another one, but another letter comes out as well. She then cracks yet another one, but the same happens again. She stares at the letter, and then she hears the owls screeching. She draws her attention to the outside of the window, and what she sees is four owls sitting on some garden chairs. Petunia then screams and runs off.]

People cheer for McGonagall who sports a small smile. While laughs are shared around.

"Way to go, professor." The Weasley twins yell out. Val's hair turns yellow as she shares a laugh with her friends.

[Much later, Vernon is tossing letters into the fireplace. Harry comes around the corner. Vernon grins evilly and tosses more in. The scene fades to the next day, the family is sitting around, Harry is serving cookies.]

"He's not a servant!" People shout. Val streaks turn red as she frowns at the sight.

"Fine day Sunday. In my opinion, the best day of the week. Why is that, Dudley?" Vernon asks his son.

Dudley only shrugs and doesn't answer, as Harry hands a cookie to Vernon. "Because there's no post on Sunday?"

"Ah, right you are, Harry. No post on Sunday. Ha! No blasted letters today. No, sir. Not one single bloody letter, not one." Harry sees a shadow outside the window. Outside, millions of owls are perched. "No, sir, not one blasted, miserable-"

[As Vernon was talking, a letter shoots out of the fireplace and zips across Vernon's face, cutting him off. There is a rumbling and then millions of letters come shooting out of the fireplace. The family shrieks in horror as Harry watches in amazement.]

People cheer, "Professor McGonagall sure is determined." Hermione smiles. Her friends nod along with her statement.

Percy and Annabeth glance over at Val to see her relaxing with her school friends, glad that being around her brother did calm down her anger and worry for him.

Apollo and Hermes are cheering along with everyone else while the gods and demigods are amused.

"AHH! Make it stop! Please make it stop!" Dudley yells jumping on Petunia's lap as she and Vernon continue screaming. "What is it? Please tell me what's happening!"

People are laughing at the chaos, especially the Weasley twins.

[Harry jumps onto the coffee table to grab a letter. He gets one and starts to run away. Vernon jumps up as well.]

"Why didn't you just get one from the ground?" Annabeth questions, Hermione, Val, Athena, and Thalia nodding along with her.

Harry just shrugs, "I don't know, I was eleven." This makes Percy laugh and nod, having done the same thing before.

Val chuckles, "Idiot." Harry just nudges her away making them both smile.

"Go away! Ahh! Give me that! Give me that letter!" Vernon chases Harry and grabs him before Harry gets into his closet.

"Get off! Ahh!" Harry yells trying to escape.

The red gets darker, Val has a frown on her face while they all watch.

[Vernon restrains Harry as several letters begin to shoot everywhere around the house.]

"They're my letters! Let go of me!" Harry yells. Vernon yells while restraining the squirming boy.

[The wood plank nailed in front of the letterbox finally breaks from the excess pressure of the letters shooting through the letter.]

"That's it! We're going away! Far away! Where they can't find us!" Vernon yells.

"Daddy's gone mad, hasn't he?" Dudley questions. Petunia watches with a horrified look on her face, knowing that Dudley may be right.

"He went mad a long time ago." Nico says which makes people chuckle and Harry nod.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! (All French translations is curtesy of google translate because I don't know French.)

Sorry if it's a little crappy. Only two or three more chapters till Harry meets Valentina for the first time. I keep forgetting about the Greeks reacting because this part mostly focuses on Harry and the wizarding world. If you have any pointers about writing the Greeks reacting then that's very helpful.

How are we like Val so far? I'm not the best with writing but I tried. Val's meant be a very chill and relaxed person who hides how deep her feelings are, but is very protective over her loved ones. I don't know how that came across though.

If you see any spelling or grammar mistakes, please let me know so I can fix them. I do have a laptop now so it should be easier to write.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Chapter Text

[That stormy night, a tall house, on a rock island somewhere out at sea. The Dursleys, including Harry, have moved there due to the chaos with the letters. The family is sleeping, with Harry on the cold, dirt floor and Dudley sleeping on a sofa. Harry has drawn a birthday cake, which reads, Happy Birthday Harry. Harry looks at Dudley's watch, which beeps '12:00'.]

"Make a wish, Harry." Harry tells himself. He blows the 'candles' on the drawn birthday cake.

The room is silent as the mood becomes solemn at how he's spending his birthday.

"Harry, I'm going to throw you a proper birthday party." Val tells the boy. Ron and Hermione nod while Harry tries to get out of it.

"You don't have to. It's fine." Harry attempts to persuade the already busy girl who is already busy tutoring the younger students, doing her ballet that her mom wanted her to do, and her other things that he didn't know about.

"I'm going to anyway. You deserve a good birthday." Valentina tells the boy. Hermione hears what Val is saying and agrees.

"She's right, Harry, plus you know you can't talk her out of it." Hermione reminds the boy. Harry sighs, knowing she's right.

[Suddenly, the door thumps, in sync with the thunder flashing. Harry jumps. The door thumps again, and Dudley and Harry jump up and back away. Harry hides behind a wall, and Dudley cowers on a windowsill. Petunia and Vernon appear, with Vernon holding a double barrel gun.]

"He has a gun?!" The muggles, halfblood, demigods, and mortals yell in horror. Val's hair turns gray and purple.

"What's a gun?" A pureblood asks confused. It's explained to them, and the others are looking on in horror at the description.

"Who's there?! Ahh!" Vernon shouts at the door.

[The door bangs again and then falls down, and a giant man appears. As he comes into the clear lighting, the giant man himself reveals to be Rubeus Hagrid.]

"Hagrid!" People cheer for the man while said man blushes. Harry and his friends sport smiles, yellow bleeding out in happiness.

"Sorry about that." Hagrid tells them as he puts the door back up.

"I demand that you leave at once, sir! You are breaking and entering!" Vernon aims his gun at the half giant.

[Hagrid grabs the gun and bends it upward as Petunia quietly gasps in  fear.]

"Dry up, Dursley, you great prune." The gun fires upwards, blasting a hole in the ceiling, causing the two to shriek in fear. Hagrid notices Dudley. "Mind, I haven't seen you since you was a baby, Harry. But yer a bit more along than I would have expected. Particularly 'round the middle." Hagrid looks at the boy.

"I-I-I'm not Harry." Dudley stutters.

"I-I am." Harry reveals himself.

"Well, of course you are! Got somethin' for yeh. 'Fraid I might have sat on it at some point, but I imagine it'll taste fine just the same." Hagrid  hands Harry  the cake. "Baked it myself, words and all. Heh." Harry opens the cake, which reads "Happee Birthdae Harry" in green frosting.

"Thank you Hagrid." Remus and Molly say to the man.

"He reminds me of Tyson." Annabeth tells Percy, who agrees, the man reminding him of his brother.

"Thank you!"  Harry thanks  the man.

"It's not every day that yer young man turns 11, now is it? Aye?" Hagrid sits down on the sofa, takes out an umbrella, and points it at the empty fire. Two sparks fly out of the umbrella and start a fire. The Dursley family gasps.

Harry puts down the cake, "Excuse me, who are you?" He looks at the large man.

"Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. O' cours, yeh'll know all about Hogwarts." He looks at the boy.

"Sorry, no." Harry looks confused.

"You didn't know anything at all?" Draco questions. Harry just shakes his head, which makes people wonder just how much their chosen one actually knows and not what they assume he knew.

"No? Blimey, Harry, didn't you ever wonder where yer mum and dad learned it all?" Hagrid questions the boy.

" Learnt  what?" Harry tilts his head at the man.

"Yer a wizard, Harry."

Harry looks confused. "I-I'm a what?" Harry questions.

"A wizard. And a thumping good one, I'd wager, once yer trained up little." Hagrid assures the boy.

"No, you've made a mistake. I mean, I can't be... a-a wizard. I mean, I'm just... Harry. Just Harry." Harry shakes his head in denial, not believing the man.

"Well, just Harry. Did you ever make anything happen? Anything you couldn't explain when you were angry or scared?" Harry softens his expression. Hagrid hums in confirmation.

[Dudley whimpers. Hagrid hands Harry the same letter that has been sent the past while. Harry opens it, and he begins to read.]

People cheer that he finally has his letter, Val squeezes Harry's arm as they share a smile.

" Dear, Mr. Potter. We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. " Harry reads out the letter.

"He will not be going, I tell you! We swore when we took him in, we'd put a stop to all this rubbish!" Vernon shouted at Hagrid.

"You knew? You knew all  along and  you never told me?" Harry looks angry at his aunt and uncle as he questions them.

"Of course we knew. How could you not be? My perfect sister being who she was. Oh, my mother and father were so proud the day she got her letter. 'We have a witch in the family. Isn't it wonderful?' I was the only one to see her for what she was. A freak! And then she met that Potter. And then she had you, and I knew you would be the same. Just as strange, just as... abnormal. And then, if you please, she went and got herself blown up! And we got landed with you." Petunia sneers, looking down at her nephew.

Everyone is shocked that's how he found out about his parents.

Harry sits uncomfortable while Val comforts the boy. Padfoot whines from his seat on the other side of Harry, Remus looking upset at the mention of his lost friends.

Her hair was a mix of red and blue, angry at Harry's aunt and uncle, while also sad for him at how he found out about his parents.

"Blown up? You told me my parents died in a car crash!" Harry turns to his aunt, angry as he confesses the lie that they told him.

"A car crash? A car crash killed Lily and James Potter?!" Hagrid yells questionably at the Dursleys.

"We had to say something." Petunia shrugs off the loss of her sister and brother-in-law.

"It's an outrage! It's a scandal!" Hagrid yells furiously.

[As the Dursleys argue with Hagrid, no one, including Harry, is noticing Dudley taking Harry's cake away]

"He'll not be going!" Vernon yells at the half giant.

Hagrid: "Oh-ho-ho, and I suppose a great muggle like yerself's goin' to stop him, are yeh?" Hagrid questions the shorter man, angry at  him trying  to stop them.

"Muggle?" Harry questions, confused by the word.

"Non-magic folk." Hagrid calmly explains. He immediately draws his attention back to Vernon and Petunia in anger. "This boy's had his name down ever since he were born!"

People are in awe, "Since you were born?" Ron questions in awe. Val nudges Harry with a smile as he just shakes his head at her.

The reaction has the people of the Greek world curious, "Why is that so important?" Athena questions. Annabeth also leans towards them.

"A child's name is written down the moment they display magic." Elliott tells them, having no problem with the Greeks like his sister-in-law does. His explanation explains why people are in awe of the boy.

As Hagrid was talking, Dudley was munching on Harry's cake. "He's going to the finest school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world, and he'll be under the finest headmaster that Hogwarts has ever seen. Albus Dumbledore." Harry smiles upon hearing Dumbledore's name.

"I will not pay to have some crackpot old fool teach him magic tricks!" Vernon shouts at Hagrid.

People shake their heads, "Shouldn't have said that." Harry says to the man on screen, as everyone at the school knows that Hagrid is loyal to Dumbledore.

[Hagrid whips out his umbrella and points it at Vernon, threateningly.]

"NEVER – INSULT – ALBUS DUMBLEDORE – IN FRONT OF ME." Hagrid finally sees Dudley eating Harry's cake and aims his umbrella at his buttock. He fires a magic spark at it, causing a grey tail to grow.

People laugh at the boy on screen, some even falling off their seats. "Now that's a donkey tail." Grover tells Percy. (Let me know if you know.)

[Dudley shouts as the Dursleys shriek in both fright and horror as they run off out of sight. Harry laughs at  this, so  does Hagrid.]

"Oh, um, I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone at Hogwarts about that. Strictly speaking, I'm not allowed to do magic." Hagrid shyly tells Harry.

A screech fills the room, which makes people cover their ears, "Arrest him." The pink toad screeches at the aurors. Hagrid looks nervous.

"He was given permission to use magic to get and help Harry." Tonks tells the woman. Hagrid gives the metamorphmagus a thankful look.

"Rest in peace, my ears." Percy says to Grover, who nods in agreement.

"Okay." Harry nods while looking up at the man.

Hagrid checks his pocket-watch. "Ooh, we're a bit behind schedule. Bes' be off." He goes off to the door and pulls it down again before stepping out. He turns to Harry. "Unless you'd rather stay, of course. Hmm?" He says to the waiting boy.

[He walks out. Harry grins, looks back at the direction where the Dursleys are gone, and grins again before grabbing his jacket and joins Hagrid on their journey to London.]

"Why did you hesitate?" Will questions Harry.

Harry shrugs, "I don't know." Truthfully, he had mixed feelings at that time. He was happy and excited to leave, but he also didn't know what would be next or what would become his life.

"You're going to be meeting me soon." Val smiles at her brother, her hair shining brightly with streaks of yellow.

Percy looks at one of his girlfriends, "We'll be seeing a young you?" He asks his girlfriend. Annabeth, having already seen a young Valentina as they spent a few years at camp together.

She chuckles, "Yes, there won't be much difference between when you met me. Only a year difference." Pink showing through in bits of the yellow.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Took a break because updating every day was driving me crazy, I'm going to make an update schedule.

Sorry if it's a little crappy. He will be meeting Valentina next chapter, so look forward to that. I'm very excited to write it.

It might be a day or two before another chapter comes out because I'm taking care of the house and my grandmother as she just got out of eye surgery. So please be patient.

If you see any spelling or grammar mistakes, please let me know so I can fix them.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Chapter 8: Diagon Alley

Chapter Text

[The next day, in the streets of London. Harry and Hagrid are in the underground tube.]

Harry reads the list, "First year students will require: three sets of work robes, one wand." He turns to Hagrid.

"Essential bit of equipment, Harry." Hagrid tells the boy.

"One pair of dragon-hide gloves." He turns to Hagrid again, "Hagrid, do they mean for a real dragon?"

"Well, they don't mean a penguin, do they? Heh. Crikey, I'd love a dragon." Hagrid smiles at the boy who looks at him.

People laugh at Hagrid's joke while Hagrid sniffles missing Norberta.

"You'd like a dragon?" Harry questions, curious about Hagrid.

"Vastly misunderstood beasts, Harry. Vastly misunderstood." Hagrid suddenly eyes a woman, and then he nods. The woman ret urns to reading her paper.

The Greeks have mixed feelings about dragons as they have their uses, but sometimes they have to avoid them to not get killed.

The animal lovers, especially Charlie Weasley, nod along, agreeing with his words.

[The next scene, Hagrid and Harry are walking down the streets.]

"All students must be equipped with... one standard size 2 pewter cauldron and may bring, if they desire, either an owl, a cat, or a toad. Could we find all this in London?" Harry questions as they walk down the street.

"If you know where to go." Ron tells his best friend who starts to laugh. They look at him confused, but Harry just gestures to the screen.

"If you know where to go." Hagrid gestures forward.

His words make the friend group laugh while Ron looks shocked as his friends laugh at him. Yellow bleeds out into Valentina's hair. Everyone else looks at the group confused.

[They walk towards a corner store, and as they get closer, the sign above it has "The Leaky Cauldron" magically appearing. They enter the Leaky Cauldron. There was music and several patrons that are speaking to each other.]

"Ah, Hagrid! The usual, I presume?" Tom, the bar keeper asks.

"No thanks, Tom. I'm on official Hogwarts business today. Just helpin' young Harry here buy his school supplies." Hagrid gestures to the boy next to him.

"You shouldn't have said that, Hagrid." McGonagall tells the man, shaking her head, and Hagrid looks a little embarrassed.

"Bless my soul. It's Harry Potter!" Tom shouts. The pub immediately goes silent, and everyone notices.

The wizarding people are shocked at the silence in the place. It has never been that quiet before. The Weasley twins cheer for the boy.

"It's never been quiet in that place." Tonks says, shocked.

A man comes up and shakes Harry's hand. "Welcome back, Mr. Potter. Welcome back."

A witch comes up and shakes Harry's hand, as well. "Doris Crockford, Mr. Potter. I can't believe I'm meeting you at last."

[A man in robes with a turban on his head appears. It is Professor Quirrell.]

At the sight of the man, makes those who know him cringe and scowl at him, especially Harry.

"Harry P-potter. C-can't tell you how p-pleased I am to meet you." Quirrell stutters to the boy.

The Greeks look at the man on screen with narrowed eyes, their instincts setting off.

"That's a fake stutter." Apollo says, his words ring through the hall. The Greeks agreed with his words.

"He's not who he says he is." Hecate tells everyone.

Their reactions shock the wizarding world except the aurors and Valentina, who always felt uneasy around the professor; her demigod instincts had alerted her at the first meeting.

"How did they know from a singular meeting that they are watching?" Hermione questions, the hall pays attention after her question, wanting to know as well.

Val chuckles, "Because we all are trained to fight in life or death situations and if you ignore your instincts, then it can result in your death." She casually tells her friends and the hall.

The other Greek mortals nod along, agreeing with her. While her answer shocks her friends and the wizarding people.

"Hello, Professor. I didn't see you there. Harry, this is Professor Quirrell. He'll be yer Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts." Hagrid introduces the stuttering man to the confused boy.

"He's the professor?" Multiple Greeks question, as the man doesn't appear to be competent.

Some people agree with their statement while some confirm that he was the professor.

"Oh, nice to meet you." Harry puts out his hand, offering a handshake with Quirrell. But the man looks at Harry's head and hesitatingly refuses.

"F-fearfully f-fascinating subject. N-not that you need it, e-eh, Potter? Heheh." Quirrell tells the boy who puts his hand down.

"Yes, well, mus' be goin' now. Lots to buy. Heh-heh-heh." Hagrid tells the man who still stares at Harry.

"Goodbye." Harry tells the man as the two leave into a backroom winery in front of a brick wall.

"See, Harry? You're famous!" Hagrid tells the confused boy.

"But why am I famous, Hagrid? All those people back there, how is it they know who I am?" Harry is confused and doesn't know what's going on.

"I'm not sure I'm exactly the right person to tell you that, Harry." Hagrid denies the answers and taps the brick wall clockwise with his umbrella. The blocks then magically shift and open up to reveal a hidden, busy street called Diagon Alley.

The Greeks are in awe of all the magic in the street, the alley bringing back memories of their own first time there.

Padfoot whines and Remus pets the dog, understanding that they are watching Harry's first time in Diagon Alley without James and Lily.

"Welcome, Harry, to Diagon Alley." Harry grins broadly as they step into the street and walk down it. An owl screeches. "Here's where yeh'll get yer quills and yer ink, and over there all yer bits and bobs fer doing yer wizardry." Hagrid tells the stunned and excited boy.

[Harry is amazed as they pass by shops and owls and bats. The camera pans on a broom store, where a group of boys are crowded around a shiny broom.]

The sight of Harry's first broom makes him smile, remembering the first time he flew. Val's hair shines with yellow streaks, feeling the love Harry has for his first broom.

"It's a world-class racing broom." One of the children says.

"Wow! Look at it! The new Nimbus 2000!" A boy says while looking at the broom.

"It's the fastest model yet." Another boy says.

[The camera pans to see the broom's model name on the handle]

"Excuse us, you are in the way." A woman's voice sounds from behind the pair who stand in the doorway to a shop.

[The camera pans to show a woman with blue eyes and a pristine updo. Beside her stands a girl with silky light brown hair and intense brown eyes. Hagrid and Harry move out of the doorway, and the woman walks past them and opens the door, turning back to the girl.]

"Look at little Val. You don't look much different from when I met you." Percy pouts, wanting to see what his girlfriend looked like younger. The other demigods shake their heads at the son of Poseidon.

Val laughs, "I'll show you some pictures of me when I was younger-" Percy lights up at that, Annabeth chuckles at Percy.

"As long as I also get to see some pictures of you as well." Valentina finishes her statement. That statement makes Percy deflate as Val giggles at him. Annabeth shakes her head at her partners antics.

"I will show you some more of his baby pictures, Val." Sally tells the girl who smiles at the woman.

Percy groans as Annabeth, Thalia, and Val laugh at his torment, remembering when Sally gave them a ride to the military school.

"I will only be a moment. Wait here, Valentina." The woman tells the girl who stands beside Harry, she nods in agreement.

[The woman goes into the shop, leaving the girl outside. The girl turns to Harry and Hagrid with a smile.]

"I'm Valentina Allen. Who might you two be?" She stretches a hand out for a hand shake.

"'Ello little miss, I'm Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts." He gently shakes her small hand, being careful not to squeeze her.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Hagrid, so Hogwarts? I will be seeing you around the school then." She tells the half giant with a smile.

[She turns to Harry next, her hair swishing around her face with the movement of her head. Her hand reached out to shake his.]

"Harry Potter. I'm starting Hogwarts this year." He shakes her hand, her eyes widen slightly at his name, but she keeps the smile on her face.

"Thanks for not freaking out." Harry, thanks the girl beside him, and she just nudges him with her shoulder.

[Harry is shocked when her hair flickers with streaks of yellow before it quickly turns back to the light brown, Harry questions if he even saw it in the first place. Harry believes that Valentina Allen is probably one of the most beautiful girls he's ever seen.]

"Aww, that's so sweet of you, Harry." Val coos, going to squeeze his cheek, but he pushes her hand away from him with a groan as their friends laugh at them.

"So you're Harry Potter, It's a pleasure to meet you." Valentina says, which confuses Harry at how she knows him.

[Harry opens his mouth to question her, but Hagrid gains both their attention.]

"We mus' be goin' now. Lots to buy." Hagrid tells the two kids.

Valentina nods, "Very well, I'll be seeing you both at the school then. Have a good day."

"See you at the school." Harry tells the pretty girl as he goes off with Hagrid.

[Harry looks back one time to see Valentina speaking with the woman who she was with, He continues walking with Hagrid.]

People start to notice that the demigods are shifting in their seats, so Hestia speaks up, "Why don't we take a break?" Her soft voice echoes around the room, and everyone agrees.

The demigods quickly shoot up from their seats, which surprises the wizarding people. They watch as the demigods start stretching.

Seeing their confusion, Elliott speaks up, "Demigods have adhd so they can't sit still for long."

This clears up some of Val's behavior but makes them also wonder, "Is dyslexia also a thing that all demigods have?" Hermione questions, knowing her friend had trouble reading.

The Greeks nod, confirming her question, "We're hardwired for Ancient Greek, so reading English is extremely difficult." Thalia tells the bushy haired witch.

"Annabeth has it a little easier being a daughter of Athena, but even she has trouble, while Val can read in French and the other languages of love." Percy tells them.

The respective girls nod along, while Val's teachers are now understanding why she struggles in class, and her homework is always in another language.

"That would be why her homework is always in French." McGonagall correctly assumes while it's also clicking for the other professors.

Valentina shyly chuckles, and her hair streaks with light gray, which is similar to her partners, "I always forget to use the translation spell before turning it in. I was raised with French, from books to speaking to everything."

Eleanor and Elliott nod along, they made sure she was surrounded by French even if they lived in London.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! (I'm surprised that I managed to get this chapter done so quickly. Started to write at like 9. *surprised Pikachu face*)

Sorry if it's a little crappy. He finally met Valentina, his first impression is how pretty she was, but don't worry when they become friends. That sibling bonds will come in.

Them teasing Percy made me laugh, and Sally also joining in makes my day.

How would we feel with Val speaking even more French? I would have to work it in. I loved the idea that Val is completely fluent in French and spent her entire childhood immersed in it. (Obviously courtesy of Google Translate.)

Also, the fact that she does her homework and assignments in French and her teachers never reminded her after her turning them in to perform a translation spell.

Chapter 9: Gringotts

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

[Harry and Hagrid continue walking down Diagon Alley, the thought of the meeting with Valentina pushed out of Harry's mind while he looks over his supply list.]

"But, Hagrid, how am I to pay for all this? I haven't any money." Harry questions, knowing he doesn't have any money on him. Or any money at all.

"Well, there's yer money, Harry." Hagrid points to a tall, white, marble building, Gringotts Bank. "Gringotts, the Wizard Bank. T'ain't no safer place, not one. 'Cept perhaps Hogwarts." Hagrid tells the boy.

The golden quartet shares looks at Hogwarts being safe, knowing that every year, they are dealing with something.

The majority of the wizarding people in the room also look around, having heard of some of the things that people get up to while at school.

The Greek mortals shake their heads, having heard what Valentina gets up to and survives while at school. Elliott rolls his eyes at Hogwarts being safe, having heard about the school from Val, knowing both parts of her life are dangerous and there isn't anything he can really do to protect his niece, especially from the Greek world.

[Inside the bank, they walk down the shiny aisle, passing tiny creatures working at their desks.]

"Uh, Hagrid, what exactly are these things?" Harry questions looking at the tiny creatures, having never seen anything like them before.

The Greeks, except Hecate and Valentina, look closer at the creatures, knowing that these things aren't in their world.

"They're goblins, Harry. Clever as they come, goblins but not the most friendly of beasts. Bes' stay close." Hagrid tells him, which makes Harry move closer to the man.

Hagrid clears his throat as they approach a counter with a goblin, wearing spectacles and a waistcoat, in it. "Mr. Harry Potter wishes to make a withdrawal." Hagrid tells the goblin who looks up.

"And does Mr. Harry Potter  h ave his key?" The goblin questions, looking at the half giant with a blank face.

"Oh, wait a minute. Got it here somewhere. Ha! There's the little devil." Hagrid digs around his pockets before finding it.

"Why did you have his key?" Eleanor questions the half giant, knowing that only Harry or his guardians should have his key. The other witches and wizards are curious as well.

Harry is confused by the question, "Why wouldn't he have my key?"

The Greek's pay more attention to them, wondering why it's so important and are curious about this whole other world.

Val, sensing Harry's confusion, decides to answer, "Only you and your parents should have access to your key and vault. In the case of orphans, your guardian would have your key."

Her answer clears some questions but also makes even more. Harry, understanding why they are asking, also wants to know the answer. Everyone looks at Hagrid, who looks put on the spot.

"Dumbledore gave me his key to get his supplies." Hagrid answers' nervous under hundred of eyes. This makes people look at Dumbledore.

Dumbledore sits in his seat, the twinkle missing, but before anyone can ask him anything, the screen starts up.

Hagrid whispers, "Oh, and there's something else as well." He takes out a letter wrapped in a string. "Professor Dumbledore gave me this."

Hagrid hands the Goblin the letter. "It's about You-Know-What in vault You-Know-Which." Harry overhears looking at them confused.

McGonagall sighs and shakes her head at Hagrid's obliviousness, wondering why he decided to get it while with Harry.

"Very well." The goblin tells him.

[Later, they race down the depth caverns in a cartlike structure. The cart stops, and a goblin, called Griphook, clambers out.]

"Vault 687. Lamp, please." Hagrid hands him the lamp, and he walks to the vault, "Key, please." The goblin asks.

Hagrid hands him the key, and Griphook unlocks the vault. The room is filled nearly top to bottom with coins. Harry is amazed. "Didn't think yer mum and dad will leave you with nothing now, did yeh?" Hagrid questions the boy who is surprised that his parents left him money.

People are shocked about the amount of money in the vault, Harry just sits awkwardly as people start to eye him.

Hades nods at the wealth, Remus leans over and tells Harry, "That's only your trust vault. Once you get older, you'll have full access to the Potter vault." Padfoot barks as if confirming Remus' statement.

Harry, his friends, and the people around them look shocked. That's only his trust vault?

They continue on through the cavern. "Vault 713." The goblin says once they stop in front of a vault.

"What's in there, Hagrid?" Harry questions, curious about what's inside.

"The start of Harry's curiosity." Hermione jokes to the other, they laugh, and Harry blushes in embarrassment at their teasing. Yellow shines brightly.

"Can't tell yeh, Harry. It's Hogwarts business. Very secret." Hagrid tells the boy, which just makes the boy even more curious.

The other professors yell, "Hagrid!" The half giant blushes in embarrassment. They wonder why he wouldn't just get it later. He had to get it in front of Harry.

"Stand back." The goblin tells them before sliding their finger down the door. The vault opens to reveal a small white stone package. Hagrid enters the vault and scoops it up. The eerie light it was shining with disappears.

Almost everyone, except those who already know, leans in curious at what it is. They will soon find out.

"Bes' not to mention this to anyone, Harry." Harry nods in agreement to Hagrid's request.

"That didn't last." Ron says, remembering that Harry told him as soon as he saw the break-in at Gringotts in the paper.

Their friends snicker at Harry, who pouts and yellow shines. Val pats Harry's crossed arms as she continues to laugh as they continue teasing the boy.

Percy and Annabeth share a smile at the sound of their girlfriends laughter, happy that she's enjoying her time with her other friends.

Chapter 10: Ollivanders and Owls

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

[Outside back in Diagon Alley, Harry and Hagrid are walking through the street. Harry has bought most of his  equipment, and  is reading his list.]

"I still need... a wand." Harry tells Hagrid the last thing on his list.

"A wand? Well, yeh'll want Ollivanders." Hagrid tells Harry, pointing to the store. "There ain't no place better. Why don't you run along there and wait. I just got one more thing I got to do. Won't be long." Hagrid tells Harry, gesturing for him to go ahead.

[Harry goes into the store, quietly. He looks around. There are shelves of wands in boxes, but no people.]

"Hello? Hello?" Harry softly calls out into the seemingly empty store.

[Then, a noise came from the back, and a man appears on a ladder and looks at Harry. The man is  Ollivander and  he smiles.]

"He scared me the first time that I went in." A random student says, which makes others voice their agreement as he has a habit of suddenly appearing.

"I wondered when I'd be seeing you, Mr. Potter. It seems only yesterday that your mother and father were in here buying their first wands." Ollivander tells Harry, who looks interested at the mention of his parents.

McGonagall looks upset at the mention of her past students, which she holds close. Padfoot whines and rests his head on Harry's lap. Harry pats the dog's head while Remus sits beside them, missing his best friends.

Snape remembers the day that they got their wands, looking down at the floor missing Lily.

Ollivander picks a wand, "Ah. Here we are." Harry holds  it, but  does nothing.

"Well, give it a wave." Ollivander tells the boy who's just standing there, confused.

[Harry is hesitant, but waves. This causes most of the boxes to come flying out and crashing down. Harry jumps and hurriedly puts the wand back on the counter.]

People laugh at the boy who rushed to put the wand down after causing some chaos.

"Apparently not." Ollivander denies before getting another wand from a box.

"Perhaps this." Harry waves at a vase, which shatters, startling Harry.

"Harry chose destruction that day." The Weasley's twins tease the boy who just shakes his head at them.

"No, no, definitely not! No matter." Ollivander gets another wand from a box but stops and becomes thoughtful.

"I wonder..." Ollivander hands the wand to Harry.

[No sooner after he touched it, Harry suddenly glows under it, blowing his hair up and several of the paperwork in the background. Ollivander looked a bit surprised and deep in thought.]

Everyone sits shocked at the magic displayed on screen.

"That's powerful magic, Mr. Potter." McGonagall tells the boy who is surprised, not knowing that.

"Curious.  Very  curious." Ollivander remarks, thoughtfully.

"Sorry, but what's curious?" Harry questions, confused.

People lean in also curious, wondering why that's curious.

Ollivander examines the wand he gave to Harry, "I remember every wand I've ever sold, Mr. Potter. It just so happens that the phoenix, whose tail feather resides in your  wand gave  another feather, just one other. It is curious that you should be destined for this wand when its brother gave you that scar." He points to the lighting bolt scar on Harry's forehead.

The witches and wizards sit shocked that he shares a brother wand with Voldemort's, while the Greeks are wondering about what is going on in this other world.

Val sits quietly beside Harry who is trying to calm a barking Padfoot and worried Remus, her hair is streaked with faded gray, she will never get over the fact that Harry's wand is connected to Voldemort's.

"And who owned that wand?" Harry questions, curious about the truth of his scar and the history of his wand.

Ollivander shakes his head, "We do not speak his name. The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It's not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things. Terrible, yes, but great." Ollivander hands Harry back his wand.

The witches and wizards all start talking over each other, talking about him complimenting Voldemort. The adults try to get the students and children to calm down, but they aren't heard over everyones talking.

The Greeks are confused and wondering about who this He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is. Clearly, he is evil from the way everyone is reacting.

Valentina sits beside Harry with her hair streaked with red, annoyed with everyone talking. She looks over to her friends and sees Harry and Hermione are also annoyed while Ron is muttering, confused about Ollivander's words and his friends' reactions.

"Les gens ne prêtent jamais attention aux mots spécifiques." Valentina mutters to herself, in slight annoyance, shaking her head, which makes her friends look at her wondering what she said. (People never pay attention to the specific words.)

Valentina sends a light shooting into the air as she stands, which gains the rooms attention, "Let's all calm down. I'm sure that's not what Mr. Ollivander meant by his words. Voldemort is a powerful wizard, so I am sure that he's complimenting the magic itself and not the wizard behind it."

Her words calm the other students, but everyone flinches at the name except Harry, Dumbledore, and the Greeks who don't know who the man is.

Val finally takes her seat, Aphrodite sits proud of her daughter's power over people.

Percy and Annabeth share a look at the power that Valentina displayed. Val glances at her partners to see them looking at her, which makes her send a pretty smile at them with a promise shining in her eyes. Which makes Annabeth flush, and Percy sends a mischievous smile back while wrapping his arm around Annabeth's shoulder, pulling her close, making her even more red.

[Harry then hears a knock on the window. Making him look to see Hagrid outside.]

"Harry! Harry! Happy birthday!" Hagrid has a snowy owl in a cage, which hoots, his name is Hedwig.

Annabeth and Athena look furious at the sight of the sacred animal in a cage, as does Grover.

"How dare you cage owls?" Athena trembles with anger.

People looked confused while the Greeks wince, knowing that this wasn't going to end well. Especially Val, who never told her girlfriend about the use of owls in their world.

"We're allowed to choose between owls, cats, and toads to keep as pets when we come to Hogwarts." Hermione tells the goddess, not knowing why the goddess is so furious.

"My sacred animal as a pet!" She bellows angry, she stands to her feet and summons her spear.

Percy glances at Annabeth and sees the rage on her face, which makes him remove his arm from around her and scoot a few inches away. He glances at Val, who is staring at their girlfriend while wincing, purple and gray streaked in her hair.

"Wow." Harry says, amazed at the sight of the owl.

"Let's all take a break." McGonagall suggests, taking a look at the angry goddess.

Everyone is quick to agree with the professor. Hestia quietly brings Athena to the side to help calm her down.

Annabeth stands and turns towards Val, staring her down, which makes her gulp, so she quickly stands and moves off to the side where Annabeth and Percy follow her.

She turns to face her girlfriend and looks up at her. Her gray eyes are stormy with anger. She offers a shy and nervous smile in hopes that she won't be too angry at her. Percy looks between his girlfriends, anxious and wondering just how angry Annabeth is.

"Why didn't you tell me that owls are kept as pets?" Annabeth seethes.

They both figure that she is extremely angry and Val winces, "I'm sorry, I always forget while we're at camp or even when I'm talking to you both. It just slips through the cracks of everything happening."

Annabeth stares down at her, seeing the honesty in her pretty brown eyes. So she takes a breath to calm herself, knowing that Val is extremely busy and it would slip through the cracks of her busy life of just surviving school.

"Is there anything else that I should know before it continues?" Annabeth questions after a moment of calming herself. Percy looks at Val, also curious about her other world.

Val hesitates before answering, which makes them both nervous, "Owls are used to deliver letters and packages."

Annabeth's eye twitches, and Percy looks at Val in shock at her confession about owls; they both know how Annabeth is about her mothers domains. She has since calmed down about it, but she's still connected to her mother's domains.

"They deliver mail." Annabeth slowly says as if confirming it with Valentina.

Val and Percy share a look at her tone, knowing that Annabeth is furious. "Yes, they deliver mail, and they are pets." Val confirms it to Annabeth.

They just stand in silence while Annabeth processes this and calms herself.

Athena has since calmed down with the help of Hestia, and she looks for Annabeth, only to see her off to the side, speaking with her partners. The son of Poseidon, which she's still upset over, and the daughter of Aphrodite, which she has mixed feelings over but is more accepted than the other one.

She will wait for them to finish speaking, to speak with her daughter.

Annabeth has finally calmed down, "So owls are kept as pets and mail carriers. Okay." Annabeth looks towards Val, who has Percy wrapped around her as they lean against the wall near them. Val has Percy pushed against the wall with his arms around her and his face and neck covered in marks from Val's tinted lip balm.

They look at Annabeth to see her not trying to laugh at Percy, which makes Percy and Val share a look before they pounce on Annabeth.

After a few minutes, They leave their little corner with Annabeth stuck between Percy and Valentina; now covered in kiss marks just like Percy while Val has smeared lips that are turned up in a wide smile with pink shining brightly in her hair.

People stare at the three while their demigod friends just shake their heads. The remainder of the students just stare at them. Multiple students are wondering how Valentina could move on from Cedric so quickly. Not knowing the truth behind their relationship.

The three sit on the couch where the demigods have been sitting, but Athena quickly walks over to speak to her daughter. The three just look up at her, Annabeth gets embarrassed as she's covered in kiss marks.

"I wish to speak with you, daughter." Athena tells the blonde, she quickly nods and joins her mother a little bit away to speak with her and tell her what she was told by Val about the owls.

Val scoots closer to Percy as they quietly talk to each other. The others around them ignore them or gag at what the couple are telling each other.

People start taking their seats after a few minutes, and Annabeth joins them again while Athena sports a frown at what Annabeth had told her.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry if it's crappy.

I'm sorry if I didn't get anyone's personality right, I'm just writing how I imagine them while trying to keep them accurate, but I don't know if I succeeded.

Annabeth is scary when she's angry, even to Val and Percy. But she's so beautiful.

Val and Percy don't care about PDA, especially Val; however, Annabeth gets more embarrassed than the other two.

Chapter 11: The Boy Who Lived

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

[Later back in the Leaky Cauldron, Hagrid and Harry, are at a long table, eating soup. Everything is too quiet, Hagrid soon notices this.]

"You all right, Harry? You seem very quiet." Hagrid questions the quiet boy.

"He killed my parents, didn't he? The one who gave me this. You know, Hagrid. I know you do." Harry questions the large man with sad green eyes.

People wince at the tone of his voice and the sad look in his eyes, people in the hall give him looks full of pity which makes him annoyed and uncomfortable.

The Greek are wondering if this is the same bad man that people have previously spoken about.

Hagrid sighs and pushes his bowl away, "First, and understand this, Harry, 'cause it's very important. Not all wizards are good. Some of them go bad. A few years ago, there was one wizard who went as bad as you can go. And his name was V-...his name was V-..." Hagrid tries to say the evil name.

"He's not going to say it." Someone in the hall denies.

"Maybe if you wrote it down?" Harry suggests after seeing the man struggling to say it.

"No, I can't spell it. All right." Hagrid denies before quietly saying the name, "Voldemort."

People in the hall flinch, except Harry, Valentina, Dumbledore, and the Greeks who fought against worse.

"Voldemort?" Harry looks confused as he says the name.

[Hagrid shushes the boy which makes Harry look around to see if anyone heard him.]

Hagrid starts speaking as the screen darkens, "It was dark times, Harry, dark times."

[We flash over to a flashback on the night at Godric's hollow, consisting off a cloaked man walking towards a house, breaking in with his wand, and proceeding to terrorize. Hagrid narrates.]

Harry looks uncomfortable seeing his families home being invaded by Voldemort, he sinks further into his seat.

Val glances at Harry to see him uncomfortable, which she can understand as she knows how this scene is going to end. Her hair streaks with gray and blue for her brother.

"Voldemort started to gather some followers, brought 'em over to the dark side. Anyone that stood up to him ended up dead. Your parents fought against him, but nobody lived once he decided to kill 'em."

The Greeks are starting to understand a little why this man is feared in the terms of the mortals, while Hades glares at the man on screen sensing his fractured soul that he's using to avoid Thanatos.

[Harry's mother, Lily, screams in pain as she is killed by Voldemort's wand. Green flashes are seen from the windows outside the house. Then, we see Voldemort pointing his wand at an infant Harry Potter's head.]

Everyone flinches at the sound of Lily's scream, especially Harry as his mothers scream will never escape his mind.

The hall is extremely quiet as they uncomfortably watch the screen.

"Nobody, not one. 'Cept you." We flash back to the present time as Hagrid finishes telling Harry.

"Me? Voldemort tried to kill me?" Harry is shocked that someone tried to kill him.

"Yes. That ain't no ordinary cut on your forehead, Harry. A mark like that only comes from being touched by a curse, and an evil curse at that." Hagrid tells the boy more about his scar, which he was always told was from hitting himself in the face with a toy when he was a child.

"A cursed scar." Narcissa Malfoy mutters under her breath, as her face pales recognizing it. Draco looks at his mother when he hears her mutter, he's surprised and worried when he see's the paleness of her face and the fear in her eyes.

He quietly asks her whats wrong but she quickly recovers herself to not give anything away, while she continues to think. She quickly and quietly assures Draco that she's alright. Which he doesn't completely believe but lets go.

Harry hesitates to ask Hagrid more about the man who murdered his parents, "What happened to V... to You-Know-Who?"

Ron tries to make a joke to lighten the mood, "The only time he's said that name." He achieves that when Harry, Hermione, and Val chuckle from where they are sitting. The room is a little lighter now with the laughter of the three.

Percy and Annabeth smile at their girlfriend at the sound of her laughter, the gray of her hair is lighter now.

"Well, some say he died. Codswallop in my opinion. Nope, I reckon he's out there still, too tired to carry on. But one thing's absolutely certain. Something about you stumped him that night. That's why yer famous. That's why everybody knows yer name. You're the boy who lived." Hagrid denies Voldemort's death before telling Harry about his title in their world.

A screech sound through the room, "LIES! He's dead!" Umbitch's annoying voice hurts everyone's ears. Majority just ignore her.

Hestia speaks up, "Why don't we all take a quick break." Everyone agrees as the room is still very tense. Val quickly goes to check on Harry after that flashback. While the Greeks discuss what they were just shown and talk about Voldemort.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry that it's so short and crappy. (This chapter was from over a month ago so sorry about that.)

Sooo....I'm back. Sorta but I'm back for now! I hope everyone had fun during the holidays and new year. Time is passing by so fast.

I missed writing so much. So many new story ideas have popped up that I had to write them down and I've been a little hyper fixated on certain new ideas. (I've finally done my damn laundry and the dang dishes after days.) But I'm currently back.

If you see any spelling or grammar mistakes, please let me know so I can fix them.

Chapter 12: Trains and Candies

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Quickly getting up from her seat, Val joins Harry where he's sitting. The others had automatically made room for Val when they saw her walking over.

Wrapping her arm around Harry's shoulders, she squeezes the boy close in comfort. "I'm alright." Harry assures his sister who looks over his face before nodding.

Still holding him close, "I don't believe you, but that's okay." Val tells him as he just leans into her side, trying to push the sound of his moms scream from his head, not wanting anymore nightmares than he already has.

After everyone finished talking and taking a break, everyone settled back into their seats as the screen started up again. Percy and Annabeth glance at their girlfriend, who sits holding her brother.

[At King's Cross Station, up on a crossing bridge, Harry, with his cart of his baggage, equipment, and Hedwig, walks beside Hagrid. A couple looks at Hagrid, suspiciously.]

"What're you looking at?" Hagrid says to the couple before he checks his watch. "Blimey, is that the time? Sorry, Harry, I'm gonna have to leave you. Dumbledore will be wanting his, uh... well, he'll be wanting to see me. Now, uh, your train leaves in 10 minutes. Here's your ticket."

Hagrid hands the train ticket to the boy, "Stick to it, Harry, that's very important. Stick to your ticket."

Harry looks at his ticket. "Platform 9¾? But, Hagrid, there must be a mistake. This says Platform 9¾. There's no such thing, is there?" Harry looks up, but we now see that Hagrid has vanished, and Harry is all alone with his cart.

"You didn't tell him where the platform was!" "You left him there?!" Multiple people yell at the Hagrid on screen while the Hagrid in the room turns red in embarrassment.

[Harry is walking down a lane between trains. A man rushes by, almost running into the boy. Harry sees a guard.]

"Excuse me, excuse me." Harry tries to get the attention of the guard.

People cringe when they see him approach the guard, knowing that he's going to ask the man about the platform.

The guard instructs a woman, "Right on your left, madam."

"Excuse me, sir. Can you tell me where I might find Platform 9¾?" Harry questions the man, lost about where his platform is.

The guard becomes incredulous, "9¾? Think you're being funny, do ya?" They just walk off, muttering about the platform.

[Harry then notices a redhead woman with her daughter, and four boys walk by, pushing their carts.]

"Hey, look, it's us." Fred nudges his twin, seeing their younger selves. George nudges his brother back.

Arthur points to his wife on screen, "Look dear, it's you." He says to his wife beside him who just smiles at her husband.

"It's the same year after year. Always packed with Muggles, of course." The woman says. It's Mrs. Weasley.

Harry perks at the familiar word that Hagrid used, "Muggles?"

"Come on. Platform 9¾ this way! All right, Percy, you first." Mrs. Weasley instructs the oldest of her sons present.

Percy Jackson startles at the sound of his name coming from the screen before realizing the woman is talking about her own son. Annabeth and Grover laugh from their places next to him. Val chuckles as well, having been watching her partners and seen him jump.

[A tall boy with red hair, called Percy, comes forward and runs towards a brick wall. Amazingly, he disappears right into it. Harry is amazed.]

"Fred, you next." Mrs. Weasley instructs, gesturing to one of her twins.

"He's not Fred, I am!" One of the twins yells out. It's actually George.

"Honestly, woman, you call yourself our mother." The other shakes his head. This one is Fred.

The twins share a mischievous smile at their own antics while people shake their heads, sporting smiles.

Mrs. Weasley apologizes to her son, not knowing they are messing with her, "Oh, I'm sorry, George."

Fred moves towards the wall. "I'm only joking. I am Fred." He runs through the wall and is followed by his twin brother. Harry shakes his head in disbelief.

Laughs are shared around the room at them while said twins give a standing bow. Their mother instructs them to sit down, and after a few minutes, they finally do.

The gods look at Hermes. These two are much like the god and his children. "They aren't one of mine. Not every mischievous child is mine." The gods look back at the screen, Hermes glances at the two for a moment before confirming within himself they aren't actually his kids.

"Excuse me! C-could you tell me how to...?" Harry asks, walking up to the woman and her family.

Mrs. Weasley cuts him off, understanding what he's asking. "How to get on the platform? Yes, not to worry, dear. It's Ron's first time to Hogwarts as well." The camera pan to a red-haired boy, called Ron, who smiles. "Now, all you've got to do is walk straight at the wall between platforms 9 and 10. Best do it at a bit of a run if you're nervous." She finishes instructing the boy.

Ron gets embarrassed by his younger self on screen. He can hear the twins joking and cooing, which just makes him more red.

"Good luck." The redheaded girl, Ginny, tells Harry.

"Look at little Ginny," The twins coo at their younger sister.

She glares at the two and pulls out her wand, "You better stop if you don't want to get hexed." They stop, knowing that she will follow through with her promise.

[Harry takes a breath and runs at the wall. He shuts his eyes and emerges on the other side a magnificent station at Platform 9¾ with a red steam locomotive, which is the Hogwarts Express, and bundles of people. Harry grins as the engine's whistle blows.]

[Later on, the Hogwarts Express is traveling through the countryside. Harry is walking through the halls of the train, trying to find a seat when he sees a familiar girl with light brown hair. He knocks on the door, gaining the girl's attention.]

"Hello Harry, Are you looking for a seat?" Valentina assumes correctly about the boy who stands in the doorway. Harry nods at her assumption, "You're welcome to join me." She offers.

[Harry takes her up on her offer, sitting opposite of the pretty girl. They fill the train compartment with some light talking before another person appears in the doorway. It's Ron that stands in the doorway.]

"Excuse me, do you mind? Everywhere else is full." Ron asks the two, turning red under the gaze of a pretty girl.

Everyone knows that's a lie, but they try to hold back their laughter and jokes when they see a younger Ron blush under the attention of Valentina. While Annabeth and Percy share a look at their girlfriends effect.

Aphrodite nods in approval, knowing the effect that she and her children have on people. Ares knows the effect that Aphrodite has on him and other people, so he's not surprised that her daughter would have a similar effect on people, especially with her shapeshifting ability.

"Not at all." Harry answers while Valentina gives her acceptance as well.

Ron sits beside Harry, too nervous to be any closer to Valentine, "I'm Ron, by the way. Ron Weasley." Ron introduces herself to the two.

"I'm Valentina Allen," gives her introduction. Ron recognizes her name as a fellow pureblood.

"I'm Harry. Harry Potter." Harry also introduces himself to the boy beside him.

Ron goes agape. "So - so it's true! I mean, do you really have the... the...?" Ron stutters his question.

"The what?" Harry is confused by what Ron's trying to say, but Valentina is quick to pick up his question by the subtle scrunch of her nose and the very pale red strands of her hair.

Ron whispers the rest of his question, "The scar?"

"Ronald!" Molly scolds her youngest son, who looks embarrassed, knowing he wasn't the best with conversation.

Harry remembered Hagrid's explanation and realized, "Oh." Harry lifts up his hair bangs to reveal the scar on his forehead. Harry notices Valentina lightly glances at it before looking away to not stare.

Ron exclaims, "Wicked!" A smile bright on his face.

The twins joke about Ron's fan behavior towards his best friend, which makes people laugh. Harry brushes off his best friend's fan behavior, knowing that they both were young kids.

Both boys turn and see Valentina's hair is still streaked with pale red but joined by pale yellow streaks. Which makes Harry shocked while Ron sports an excited smile. "Woah, you're a metamorphmagus!"

"I am." Valentina confirms for the excited boy while Harry is confused.

"What's a metamorphmagus?" He questions, interrupting before Ron can ask more questions and make him even more confused.

Valentina gives the boy a smile, understanding his confusion of being surrounded by a whole new world and not understanding anything. "A metamorphmagus is a witch or wizard who has the ability to change their appearance at will. Which is why my hair is changing color." She explains to the confused boy.

The demigods, muggleborns, and some half-bloods nod in agreement at his confusion. They all had been pushed into a new world which they knew either little or none about. They have all felt lost, confused, and overwhelmed when they entered their new magical worlds.

Some of the wizarding adults think that maybe there should be something to give new kids when they are entering their new worlds. The demigods and Greeks know that there is the introduction video, but it's not the greatest and doesn't really explain everything.

Ron nods along with her explanation, "It's a rare ability that not everyone has, so it's surprising that I met someone who has the ability."

[The boys ask a few more questions about her ability. Even at one point, changing into the both of them, which garnered shock and laughter from the two boys at seeing themselves in front of them.]

A trolley comes by the compartment, full of sweets. "Anything off the trolley, dears?" The woman manning it asks.

Ron holds up his mushed sandwiches, "No, thanks. I'm all set."

"Just 2 pumpkin pasties." Valentina hands over some coins, taking her treats before sitting back down.

Harry pulls out coins, "We'll take the lot!" Ron exclaims out in shock.

[A bit later, Harry and Ron are not sitting together eating bundles of sweets. Ron's rat, Scabbers, is perched on Ron's knee, a box over his head. Valentina is eating the last of her treats while watching the boys but throwing glances at Ron's rat.]

At the sight of the rat, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Val, and Remus glare while Padfoot growls. They all wanted to kill that traitor and get Sirius' freedom.

Their reactions make people glance at them, wondering what's wrong, not connecting it to the rat on screen. The demigods and gods all look at Val, who has streaks of blazing red, wondering what caused such a reaction to the normally calm and put together girl.

Harry holds a box and reads off the title, "Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans?"

"They mean every flavor! There's chocolate and peppermint, and there's also spinach, liver, and tripe. George swore he got a bogey-flavored one once!" Ron explains the candy to the boy.

Valentina speaks up after finishing her treat, "I've got a vomit flavored one once! It was awful but not nearly as bad as one of my cabin mates who tried it and got a poison flavored one. She ended up in the infirmary for a few days."

Annabeth, Grover, Clarisse, and Will nod along, remembering when that happened, especially Will, whose siblings looked after the daughter of Aphrodite after the poisoning. After that, the flavored beans were outcasted in the majority of the cabins, if not outright banned in the Aphrodite cabin.

The Hermes cabin is the only ones who want the beans so they sometimes manage to convince Valentina to bring some to camp with her but they are under strict rules regarding the beans which they are forced to follow. The only time the beans might be used and eaten by the other cabins is during party games, but the majority of the Aphrodite cabin still avoids the beans even during parties.

Aphrodite frowns at this, knowing that one of her daughters was poisoned. Ares sees his love frown and pulls her into his side to comfort the goddess.

Amelia Bones writes in her notebook, "Those candies need to be regulated." The parents nod along with the woman, not wanting kids, especially their own in the hospital because of these beans.

"Is that why they are on the forbidden list in the big house?" Percy questions. Those who were there nod along, except Valentina, who's confused.

"Since when were they put on the forbidden list? I thought they were on the warning list." Val questions, she doesn't remember seeing them on the list when she last looked at it.

A few of the fellow demigods share looks, "Just before everyone left to go home after the summer, One of your brothers ate one that the Hermes kids snuck into his food and he had an allergic reaction. Luckily, it was a quick fix, but since then, they were added onto the forbidden list." Will tells the girl.

Val thinks back before she does remember catching a glimpse to seeing one of her brothers running around with people chasing after him, she didn't think much of it since lots of people chase after the Aphrodite kids but that must have been when it happened. "Oh."

The others nod along, "Yeah. So, no more supplying the Hermes cabin with deadly beans." Will tells the older girl.

"How many have they got from the cabin already?" Val questions, she feels guilty knowing that she went against her better judgment and supplied them with the candy beans.

"8 have been confiscated." Clarisse tells her friend of what she remembers about the situation.

"5 more have yet to be found then. I gave them 13 boxes to last till next summer when I come back." Val tells them, they nod, knowing that they will tell Chiron when they get back.

People who didn't know about Valentina's interactions with the Hermes cabin are surprised that she supplies them with dangerous candy beans. Eleanor is shocked, she wondered why Valentina always had a good portion of her money missing when she came back from America, she always assumed it was shopping or restaurants, not that she was buying forbidden candy.

Elliot, however, knew what she's been doing as when it started out. He took her to get the candy, but he didn't know that it had become forbidden. Before they can question her about it, the screen unpaused.

[Harry quickly takes the bean he was chewing out of his mouth, suddenly nervous about the candy.]

Harry picks up a blue and gold package, "These aren't real frogs, are they?"

Valentina's nose scrunches, and her hair turns many shades of red, purple, and gray. She remembers when she brought some to camp and the Hermes kids got ahold of them.

Valentina, Annabeth, Grover, Clarisse, and Will all groan at the mention of frogs while Dionysus looks up from his magazine and pointedly looks at Val in the room with them.

Their reactions worry and confuse the wizarding world while the Greeks are confused and surprised that Dionysus looked up from his magazine, and everyone is wondering why they had that reaction.

However, when the screen says that the Hermes cabin got ahold of the chocolate frogs makes everyone worried and understand a little bit why they had that reaction. Hermes is a little concerned as to what his kids did.

They let loose the chocolate frogs among normal brown frogs, which disguised the chocolate ones. The Aphrodite and Ares cabins didn't know peace for two weeks, and they made it everyone's problem.

Everyone winces, knowing that's bad. The Ares cabin is known for their anger that they get from their father, while the Aphrodite cabin are neat freaks and like control.

Those who were there remember those two weeks very clearly, even if they were years ago. Everyone in the two cabins was freaking out and extremely pissed off, which caused problems among everyone in camp. Everyone was on edge for two weeks, and there had been a lot of people in the infirmary due to fights.

The two mentioned immortals are also now angry at what they are hearing, "Excuse me?!" Aphrodite yells in anger while Ares has fire coming out of his eyes.

People in the room wince at their godly anger, wanting this to hurry up so the immortals calm down. The other immortals glance at the furious immortal couple.

As everyone knew that she brought chocolate frogs, they tried to squish them, and a lot of the campers ended up traumatized. The Hermes cabin was forced to clean up the bloody messes and capture all the frogs.

Everyone sits in silence for a moment as to what was revealed about what happened.

Horrified looks are shared around the room about what happened to the frogs, while the people present when those events happened have pale faces except Dionysus, who was perfectly fine during the madness of those two weeks.

Those from the wizarding world who have toads as pets hold their pets close. Not wanting to think of dead frogs and toads.

The two immortals have calmed down at the revelation. Aphrodite is disgusted by the idea of frogs being squished in her children's dorm cabin and staining things. Ares is indifferent to blood and guts.

Hermes sits in shock at the chaos that his children created, and also the gore that was created as a result.

Now Valentina is forbidden from bringing chocolate frogs to camp anymore, and any time there is a frog or even a toad around, the campers immediately leave and make the Hermes cabin go deal with the animals.

It's still silent for a moment while Eleanor and Elliot realize that's must be why Valentina stopped eating chocolate frogs. They can understand why.

Those who weren't at camp at the time realized that must be why chocolate frogs are on the forbidden list, and anytime there are frogs and toads at camp, then the Hermes cabin is immediately called.

"So that's why they're banned. I wasn't expecting it to be morbid." Percy comments, which makes his mom shake her head at him, and people look at him a little in disbelief. He just shrugs at the looks.

Percy wraps his arm around Annabeth's shoulders, "Don't worry, Wise Girl, I'll protect you and Val from the frogs." She just huffs out a laugh and shakes her head at her boyfriend but leans into his side.

Ron's voice breaks Valentina out of her thoughts, "It's just a spell. Besides, it's the cards you want. Each pack's got a famous witch or wizard. I got about 500 myself."

"I only have a few hundred also." Valentina adds, having stopped eating the candies since the frog incident at camp.

Harry opens the package, and a chocolate frog jumps onto the window and climbs up. "Watch it!" Ron yells out, but the frog reaches the open gap in the window and jumps out. "Oh, that's rotten luck. They've only got one good jump in them to begin with."

Harry sees Dumbledore's image in the card, "I've got Dumbledore!" Valentina shrugs. The man is a common card.

People chuckle at her comment towards the man while said man looks towards the girl who just looks straight at the screen and doesn't look at anyone.

Ron inputs, "I got about six of him." Proving Valentina's inner thoughts of the man being common.

Harry looks at the card again, but Dumbledore has vanished. "Hey, he's gone!" Harry exclaims, shocked.

"The pictures in our world, so don't be surprised if the painting you're talking to suddenly leaves you with unanswered questions." Valentina tells the boy. Harry can tell by her voice that she's upset but unsure why.

People glance at the girl in the room, but she just ignores them with pale strips of red and blue throughout her hair. Eleanor and Elliot look at the girl, knowing exactly who tried speaking to.

Ron tells the other boy, "Well, you can't expect him to hang around all day, can you?" His rat, Scabbers squeaks, "This is Scabbers, by the way. Pathetic, isn't he?"

Harry agrees, "Just a little bit." While Valentina wholeheartedly agrees, something about this animal is setting off her instincts but not knowing why.

The wizarding world is confused as to why the animal is setting off her instincts except those who know the truth, while the Greeks know to trust your instincts so something about the animal is off.

Ron asks them, "Fred gave me a spell to turn him yellow. Want to see?"

The twins start to snicker to themselves, trying to contain their laughter.

Harry agrees in excitement to see magic, "Yeah!" Valentina agrees as well, despite not knowing who this Fred fellow is.

Ron clears throat, "Ahem.  Sun-"  He starts.

[A girl called Hermione Granger, with bushy brown hair, dressed in robes, appears at the doorway, accidentally interrupting the start of Ron's spell.]

Aphrodite exclaims, "Goodness, her hair." She glances at the girl to see the girl now has her hair under better control. Val see's her mother looking over at Hermione, so when they make eye contact, she nods in confirmation to her mothers question.

"Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville's lost one." Hermione asks the three.

Ron answers, "No." Harry shakes his head while Valentina's face scrunches at the mention of the type of animal.

"Oh, are you doing magic? Let's see then." Hermione says while she takes a seat next to Valentine, who makes space when she assumes the girl is going to sit down next to her.

Ron clears throat again, "Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow!" He zaps Scabbers, but nothing happens. Ron shrugs.

The twins burst out laughing while chuckling is heard throughout the room, realizing that they had messed with their younger brother. Ron glowers at his older brothers.

[Valentina assumes that this Fred fellow would get along with the Hermes cabin based on the dumb fake spell that he convinced Ron to perform.]

Hermione questions, "Are you sure that's a real spell? Well, it's not very good, is it? Of course, I've only tried a few simple ones myself, but they've all worked for me. For example..."

Hermione leans towards Harry. She points her wand at his glasses and Harry tenses. "Oculus Reparo." The tape on the noseband vanishes, repairing his glasses as if they were good as new. Harry takes them off, amazed. "That's better, isn't it? Holy cricket, you're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger. And you are...?"

Ron with his mouth full, "I'm Ron Weasley."

Hermione turns to the pretty girl sitting next to her for her answer, "I'm Valentina Allen."

"It's a pleasure. Better change into your robes. I expect we'll be arriving soon." Hermione gets up and leaves, then comes back and looks at Ron. "You've got dirt on your nose, by the way. Did you know? Just there." She points to the dirt mark on Ron's nose. Ron scratches his nose, embarrassed.

Snorts are heard throughout the room at the introduction between the four best friends.

Valentina looks and notices that the girl is right. She gets up, "I'm going to change into my robes. I'll be back soon." She leaves the room to get changed.

Once she gets changed, she goes to leave the bathroom but bumps into someone when she tries to pass. "I apologize for bumping into you." She looks up to see an older student with dark hair and bright gray eyes, which suit his attractive features. As a daughter of Aphrodite, her cabin is full of beautiful people, and he almost reaches the level that her siblings do.

The room is silent and sad as people see the familiar boy on screen. Harry and Val hold each other close, with a head full of large dark blue streaks.

There are tears in people's eyes at the sight of the dead teen. The Greeks notice the deep blue of Valentina's hair and the tears in her eyes. Clearly, this boy was close to the demigod.

Percy and Annabeth want to squish their girlfriend between them to comfort her but as they look at her, wrapped in her brother's arms who also knew the boy, they decide to let her do as she pleases when she's mourning. They are always here when she needs them.

Aphrodite does agree. The boy is almost at the level of her children, but they have the otherworldly feel to them that this mortal boy doesn't.

"It's alright, You're a new student, right? I haven't seen you on the train before." The tall boy says, looking over the girl's pretty face. Her intense brown eyes pinned him in place.

"Yes, I am a first year student. I'm Valentina Allen, and you are?" Valentina questions the older boy, offering a friendly handshake.

He shakes the girl's hand softly and kindly, "I'm a third year student, I'm Cedric Diggory. It's a pleasure to meet someone from the Allen house." Cedric gives the girl a smile, still admiring her.

The name clears things up for Val's demigod friends who know about the boy. She spoke highly of the boy and their friendship and also the situation they had up until the boy's death.

She was different when she came back to camp, they got her to speak of the situation that they were in and then she spoke of his death which hurt her deeply as he was a dear friend of hers.

They know how she felt, as they all have lost friends and siblings to battle. Everyone is different after the war and will always mourn their loved ones and friends.

"Mine as well to meet someone from the Diggory house. However, I must be getting back to my compartment." Valentina says, Cedric nods, moving out of her way.

[She gives the boy a smile and a wave before continuing her walk to her compartment. Cedric watches her walk away before continuing with what he  was  doing.]

"Let's all take a break," McGonagall instructs after seeing one of her former students who was recently lost.

The room is still solemn, so everyone agrees as people leave to take care of their tears and grief.

Notes:

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I powered through writing this chapter the last few hours, and now I have a severe headache.

The Hermes' cabin are menaces and keep getting things banned. I had a lot of fun writing their chaos, and I'm trying to keep from cackling at midnight.

The first meeting with Cedric. RIP. From the first meeting, my dude was in awe of her, I don't blame him, to be honest.

If you see any spelling or grammar mistakes, please let me know so I can fix them.

If you have any questions, let me know!

Sadly, I’m putting this story on hiatus until further notice. I’ve kind of grown out of my Harry Potter hyper focus so I’ve greatly lost motivation for this story.

However, I may continue this story in the future but that is not guaranteed so I would like to tell you all to not expect any new updates from this story for a while. I’m sorry.

That’s it for now. I hope everyone stays safe, happy, and well.
