Namimori, Japan

Two tall women walk down the sidewalk, one has blonde short hair and is wearing orange sweatpants and work boots, nervously walking to her home, the last phone calls with her husband had not been pleasant, especially concerning their kids, and the last time she brought someone from her workplace over...hopefully he'll let them in the house without too much hassle, she looks over to see Reborn strutting down the sidewalk like it was a runway, Mitsuki knew she was reveling in the attention of being a foreigner, the aforementioned Reborn had tan skin waist length wild black hair, dark eyes, and red lips, she wore a business suit with a skirt yellow shirt and black tie, black high heels and to top the look off a black fedora with a yellow band going around it, she held her brief case lightly as she stood in front of the Sawada Household, looking to Mitsuki

" So, this is the place where you dumped your family? It's a quiet quant town so it works I suppose"

" When you say it like that Reborn you make me sound like a terrible mother and wife"

" So, all that yelling your husband was doing was for nothing...I thought so...hurry up and open the door'

" Alright...getting back your adult body has made you even more of bitch..."

Mitsuki knocked on the door, and a male's voice called out saying he was coming, the door opened and Reborn, looked at the 5'7 man with short brown hair wearing a green shirt, and white pajama pants giving her a skeptical look, and his wife a look that was a mix of anger, disappointment and more mildly hate, beckon them inside, he set down three cups of tea, on the kitchen table, he sat in front of them before greeting them

" Good morning and welcome to Japan I am Sawada Nanato, are you the home tutor Mitsuki told me about?"

" Yes, my name is Reborn, and I am here to tutor your daughter Tsunahime and your son Leyasu your wife said your daughter needs all the help she can get, according to her she said that Tsuna is a Bonafide disaster is that true or is it Mitsuki exaggerating, she has a habit doing it at work a lot'

Reborn then saw the house husband practically turn red in anger, as his lighting flames flared up and caused the power to flare before turning to his wife seething, 

" She wasn't a disaster before you and that man came into this house on that day! You've ruined her future and put her health in jeopardy because you thought you knew better!"

"...So, your daughter's failing because of you...I am honestly not surprised somehow...so Sawada-san what did this idiot do?" Reborn had only gotten snippets of what was happening over the phone and wanted to see what she was working with 

" ...She and her boss...sealed Tsuna's flames'

Well, she wasn't expecting that, and she quickly realized what Nono meant by saying, he made another big mistake, how could they both be so stupid, well she was already here so best to get more info, Mitsuki at least looked distressed at her husband saying that she must feel some sort of guilt

"...How bad is she Nanato, and no Mitsuki you don't get to say anything about this until I get the full story from him, how could the both of you be so idiotic enough to do that I have no idea" Reborn said quickly shutting Mitsuki down, Nanato dropped his glare to reveal a stressed and broken-down man only a second away from tears

"...I had just come back from flame testing the twins when they were six...they were both skies, Tsuna's a rain-leaning sky, and Leyasu is a storm-leaning sky, I was so happy to find that out, even happier that my wife came home to see the results, she brought her boss along too and I was happy to meet the head of the construction company in Italy, which I am now suspecting is a front for something else, but I'll deal with that later...Mitsuki saw Leyasu chasing Sasagawa's son Kiyo around the yard, flames out and wildly going everywhere and was cheering him on while Hana was trying to get him to stop, according to them, when the flames started to get too close to Kiyo Tsuna rushed in and shoved Leyasu away from him, and started to scold him, for playing around so recklessly and nearly setting the yard on fire and almost hurting Kiyo, Mitsuki defended him saying he was just playing and Kiyo should have fought back, I was in the kitchen with that man and caught most of the encounter, I sent Leyasu to his room and Tsu-chan's friends went home, and Tsu-chan played in the yard with a ball, I told her that she should not encourage that kind of behavior with Leyasu, but she said it was just him being proud that he was a sky"

" But the flame tester told you to make sure the twins didn't get big heads, just because they are skies does not mean they are suddenly immune to consequences and common decency, but this one thought otherwise and thought that already made him a powerful sky, and just a hunch but Tsuna didn't show her flames or did some other thing that made this dumb broad think she didn't have or couldn't handle her flames, causing her to seal them right?" Reborn said while sipping her tea

" Her flames did come out when she was defending Kiyo but it was more of a warm comforting haze than the flames Leyasu let out the neighbor's dog got out shortly after that incident, it wasn't malicious by any means but had pinned her down and she was frightened and crying for me I went and got her, you looked upset Mitsuki that Tsuna was scared of a mere dog and that her flames didn't look like her brothers"

" ....She didn't pull her flames properly...it should have been flames, not a haze, and she was scared of a little dog, skies are supposed to be brave and willing to defend their elements, imagine if her friends saw that Nanato, they might have pulled away from her, no one wants to bond with a weak sky..." was Mitsuki's pitiful excuse, and that got Nanato angry again

"...First of all, it was flames for your information, according to Kiyo her flames surrounded and shielded him in a ball while she scolded Leyasu, secondly she was six and I told you in the emails I've been sending you for years now she is afraid of dogs of any kind, and third of all there is no such thing as a weak sky, but there is such thing as a damaged one, which is defined as a sky who's harmony factor that has been unbalanced due to outside factors, the side effects of that are an uncontrollable body temperature as in she burns so hot somedays we could fry a steak on her, constant fatigue and stress since her body is working overtime to heal her from herself,"

"Nana-

"And don't forget the mental strain too since the sealing itself killed the light in her eyes and she couldn't focus on class, tripping over nothing, no one except for her childhood friends wanted anything to do with her...they called her No-Good Tsuna and they believed it, the teachers, her brother, even me ashamedly, but the worse part was she believed it...the teasing got worse, her brother egged it on and no matter what I told him, he kept telling his peers, that Tsuna was a weak sky, not good enough to handle her flames, how I was ashamed of her...until she couldn't take it anymore.." Nanato then broke down into tears, but kept his glare on his wife, Reborn felt bad for the poor man, but felt someone watching her, she turned around and, on the staircase, saw a short sweaty brown-haired girl wearing a short-sleeved blue nightgown, Reborn could feel the heat from where she was sitting and saw the slight glow on her, and how orange her eyes looked, she was breathing heavily, but made her way down the stairs

Nanato looked and Tsuna opened the fridge pulled out a large ice tray, grabbed a large cup filled it with cool water and ice, and drank it greedily, when she finished, she gave Reborn a smile and a look of awe, she was so...elegant and regal and had a cool hat, she then looked at the other occupant in the room and her smile quickly morphed into a frown, Mitsuki smiled nervously and greeted her daughter

"...Tuna-fishy!!! Mama came back from the construction job she was doing to visit you and your big brother and papa!"

"...."

" So...how are feeling?"

" What do you think? I feel like I'm on fire, I'm tired all the time and everything hurts, I had to sign out of Nami Middle and take online courses because I kept passing out, and I'm a social pariah in my age group, so I'm just fine and dandy Mother"

" Right stupid question...so Mama got you a home tutor to help you with your classes and schoolwork...because of your...condition"

"That you and that old man caused...are you Ms.Reborn? Mama told me a little about the phone a month ago..."

"...Er...Tuna-Fishy...we never had a phone call like that"

" Yes we did after you and Papa, finished your new routine of arguing on the phone, you kept on calling him back but he refused to answer, it went on for a few hours until Papa went out to get food, and I was in the house, I tripped and knocked the phone off its base and when I picked it up you were crying and slurring Papa's name, and told him that you were sorry and missed him, you also mentioned Vongola, heir and evil Reborn, but that was the only thing I could make out in Japanese since you were so drunk"

"...Oh right...that"

Nanato looked at his wife unimpressed, and gave her a look, but went to Reborn instead

"...Can you tell me what's going on...you seem way too expensive, for a construction worker's salary to hire, if she is one for that matter "

Mitsuki gave Reborn a look that said please don't tell them anything, but Reborn gave her signature smirk and pulled out Leon who quickly turned into a gun and pointed it in the air

" I am qualified as a home tutor, but I'm the greatest Hitwoman in the world, your idiot wife is the boss of CEDEF or the external advisor of the Vongola Family, the most powerful Familia in the world, Nono, or that man assigned me to train Leyasu Sawada to be the Decimo or tenth boss of Vongola, I was just going to leave an ad in your mailbox and hope you would accept it, but you are far more perceptive than what Mitsuki told me, so that's the truth, sorry you had to find out this way Nanato,"  Reborn said while mildly relishing the chaos she started

Nanato went pale, turned red, and then finally grabbed his wife and hissed that they needed to talk

" Tsuna me and Mama are going to have a private talk in my room, can you keep Reborn company for a bit?"

"...Okay"

" Thank you Tsu-chan, now then Reborn, Tsu-chan is not good with strangers so if she doesn't verbally respond, try not to pressure her to speak okay this shouldn't take long~"

While Nanato practically dragged his wife to his room, Tsuna and Reborn sat in silence, with Reborn slowly counting down her fingers from five to zero, then they heard a giant scream and Nanato tearing Mitsuki a new one for lying to him, about everything, messing up their daughter, and then saying that their son had to become a mob boss and potentially kill, with Mitsuki trying to defend her actions to no avail, while Tsuna sat awkwardly with Reborn, pouring another cup of tea the tea went cold by then so she just put her hands on the kettle and let them heat it while saving her cup of cold tea

"...My condition has a few perks and this is one of them, I'm not good at many things and I'm a failure of a sky, but if you need a drink heated I'll be nearby" Tsuna whispered as she made a joke about her condition, Reborn smirked in response until they heard footsteps and saw Nanato come down the stairs eyes red and blotchy, holding his head in his hands and Mitsuki in a similar state

"...I can't believe this..."

" ...So I take it you're both done talking right? Vongola is paying for me and all I ask of you is Housing and Food, I was told mainly to focus on Leyasu, but I figured I could help out your daughter too, by the way, where is your twin?"

"...Oh my son, he woke up during all the yelling, and Mitsuki told him about what was happening"

Then a blonde, blue eyed teen similar to Tsuna ran down the stairs out of breath and looked and Reborn then walked up to Tsuna

" Oi No-Good Tsuna is everything Mama said is true?"

"...Yes Leyasu"

" I don't believe it....this is just-"

" Terrifying"

" Shocking"

" Disturbing"

"AMAZING!!!"

The three occupants in the kitchen looked at Leyasu in shock he was happy this happened to him...

" Leyasu this is not a joke, you are the heir to a mafia organization, the most powerful one in the world, that is not "amazing"

" Yes, it is Papa, don't you get it, my teacher said I was talented enough to do great things and this is one of them, and the best part is that out of the two of us, I was the one Mama said was chosen, Tsuna wasn't even considered because she's such a loser, that she can't even control her flames, so that just proves I'm the best sky in Namimori" He shamelessly gloated to his sister, who merely sighed and corrected him

" We're the only skies in Namimori, and I don't want anything to do with Vongola, nor do I think I am physically, mentally, or emotionally to handle any training to be the heir...I just want to fix myself and end this cycle of pain, so good luck with that...it was nice meeting you Reborn" Tsuna then walked up to stairs past her mother and tried to get some rest before her online classes started and Leyasu went back upstairs to his room to get ready for school

" Nanato...I..."

" You have to go back to work don't you...fine just go...and don't call us for at least a month, I need some time to process all this" 

" Okay...how did Leyasu react?"

" He was happy when he found out he was the heir...he said it proved that he was the best sky in Namimori..."

"...Well at least he's confident that's a good thing right Reborn"

"...Your son has a severely inflated sense of self and a superiority complex Baka-Mitsuki, that is not a good look for Decimo nor the Vongola Nono wants to see be rebirthed back to its roots, and as for your daughter I'll call in a specialist to see what we can do to help her, 

"...Well then...I suppose this is goodbye...I'll try to visit soon"

" ...Safe travels Mitsuki"

Mitsuki went on her way out the door, and Nanato just sighed as he prepared breakfast for his kids, so many revelations, truths, and lies all at the same time, hopefully, his kids can still be kids in the small time they have, Reborn brought her stuff to the guest room upstairs, and caught a glimpse Tsuna moaning and rolling about in pain on her bed before curling up muttering quietly, she shook her head and packed her stuff away if she had listened closer she would have heard the words

"...I'm glad I helped break your curse Reborn...

Chapter Text

Tsuna moaned and woke after her nap, she slept for about 2 hours, before getting up and wandering to the bathroom, she started to fill the tub with cold water and went downstairs to grab some ice to put in it when she heard voices, she peeked from the staircase and went paler than usual, Hisato Kurokawa and Kaori Sasagawa were talking with Nanato and Reborn about the current events, Hisato was lawyer and wore a suit with a purple tie, a serious and unfettering man, hair neat and combed as always he struck fear most while Kaori Sasagawa was a househusband like Nanato, he wore lavender long-sleeved shirt, and blue pants and had slightly messy orange hair as they both stared at Reborn, who merely sipped her espresso, until she caught sight of Tsuna peeping from the staircase

" Oh there you are Tsuna we were just talking about you, why are you hiding like that? You may be small as a rat you aren't one, come your friends' fathers want to talk to you" Reborn said, at that moment the three men turned to Tsuna, who tried to go back upstairs, but Nanato gave her look and Tsuna walked down as slowly as possible, she was trying to avoid this conversation for three months now

" I know for a fact you are not that slow, come down here and tell me why Hana told me you've been avoiding them for three months, you've been ignoring their calls, and whenever they come over here you pretend to be asleep, yes they knew you were faking, and when they asked your brat of a brother, he said that you were setting them free and that they should leave you alone, what does that even mean!?" Hisato asked Tsuna who merely sighed and shook her head, that was not a clear answer, and she knew it but still refused to talk

" Kiyo's been in tears for at least a week now, and he said that he wants to know why you're avoiding them, and Hibari is being even more aggressive than usual," Kaori said sadly, Tsuna still refused to talk but had tears in her eyes, that quickly evaporated in the heat

Nanato sighed and went to go get a box of something, he opened it, and inside were six different color flames in tubes, he handed one to Tsuna, which was light blue she opened it the flame shot out towards her, and it made her glow go down a bit, she took the others as well before sighing and giving an answer

"...I was draining too much from them whenever I got near them, they started to get tired, then they started to sleep in class...the other kids said I was killing them, they told me I should stay away from Kiyo, I didn't want to and they wanted to stay near me, they said it was fine, it went on until Kiyo passed out in class and shortly Hana...Kiyo hit his head hard on the floor, and there was blood...his fan girls went rabid on me, and I just went home in tears

Flashback Three Months Ago

Tsuna stumbles her way into class her younger twin brother Leyasu gives her a look of disdain and stomps his way to his seat surrounded by a bunch of their classmates, they give her a look of concern but go back to focus on him

" Tsuna-chan, are you okay? Looks like you're having a worse day than usual, do want to go to the nurses' office?" Kiyo asked while grabbing her sweat-soaked sleeve, it was gross but her skin was often too hot to touch so this was the next thing

" Hey, Kiyo, you better stay away from her she's glowing again, and burning enough that I can feel her from over here," one of his fangirls said while the rest glared at Tsuna, he fought the urge to roll his eyes at them, they were just friends and he did not need their protection from him, Tsuna wouldn't hurt a fly, Hana, on the other hand, had no such restraint and quickly shot them a glare that shut them all down

Tsuna moans and stumbles into her seat, and her brother says out loud

" A failure of a sky that can't control her flames, whoever sealed you did your useless self a favor but then you messed it up by unsealing it" his lackies agreed nodding at his words, 

"....I didn't mess up I am merely healing...once I find my elements, I should feel better..." she said back weakly losing hope every time she said those words.

" I hope I find my elements...more of them for that matter"

Tsuna sat right near an open window, the breeze helping her cool down, Kiyo sat on her right, and Hana sat right behind her, writing notes for Tsuna to study later since she was often in a fever-induced haze most of the time and wasn't paying attention until she heard someone calling her name a few times

"...Oi Dame-Tsuna Nezu-Sensei wants you to answer question 5, get up"

" Now hold on you idiotic blonde monkey, the principal said that Tsuna does not need to get up, if not needed, that includes answering board questions, look at her she's in such a haze I am pretty sure she doesn't know what class she's in"

" Exactly and the principal gave everyone including you, Nezu-Sensei a note about what Tsuna can and can't do until she stabilizes a bit more, getting up and walking is already a major chore for her end"

" ARE YOU TWO TALKING BACK AT ME, AN ELITE FROM THE TOP UNIVERSITY!!! GO STAND IN THE  HALLWAY, AND DON'T COME BACK IN UNTIL I SAY SO!!!"

" But Tsu-"

Kiyo felt a tug on his shirt and saw Tsuna smile at him and got up and stumbled to the board, she looked at the equation...she didn't know this crap and was probably going to get it wrong, best to get the humiliation over with

".... HONESTLY YOU COULDN'T EVEN GET THAT SIMPLE EQUATION RIGHT!? A CHILD COULD HAVE SOLVED THAT!!! NO WONDER YOUR DAME-TSUNA, LEYASU SHOW HER HOW IT DONE"

" Gladly..."

Her brother also got the question wrong apparently, but either Nezu didn't notice or care but kept on praising him for his skill, and going back onto Tsuna on how the girl has no future, it hurt of course but she was used to it, then Leyasu started on her being a failure of a sky and that hurt way more, especially in front of the class

" I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TWO ARE RELATED ON A GENIUS PRODIGY SKY AND A FAILURE OF ONE, I DON'T BELIEVE YOUR FLAME WAS SEALED, BUT YOU SUCKING at being a sky sounds way more plausible right guys?"

The whole class except for Kiyo, Hana, and Takashi, started laughing at Tsuna who turned red in shame

" Hey Leyasu jokes are funny if everyone is laughing, and what you said is kind of cruel you know," Takashi said with a strained smile

" It's not a joke if it's true Yamamoto, and besides her finding her elements is as likely as her getting a 100% on a test"

The whole class except for those select three laughed even harder with Tsuna close to tears at this point, Nezu wasn't going to do anything to stop the bullying and was even laughing along with them

" Shut up and sit-down you idiot monkey, Tsuna's going to find her elements, one way or another and she has us and the Skylark somehow, and we're going to stay with her" Hana yelled as Kiyo was trying to coax Tsuna to sit back down, but Leyasu's gaze held her in place

" And besides when are you going to stop pitying her you two, I know you were just playmates when we were little but no one, is that compassionate to someone as big of a wreak as Tsuna"

That made Tsuna freeze, and Leyasu saw that and decided to go in for the kill, he gave an evil grin 

" Come on Tsuna, you this from the heart didn't you? No one wants damaged goods, and they aren't going to pity you forever, they'll move on and away from you they might go to me if they know what's good for them, and you'll be all alone, and as for Hibari, she'll probably start biting you to death soon, she keeps on giving you even more aggressive looks every time you walk in and go home early, and those two's parents might be getting tired of the phone calls of them sleeping in class because of you "

"Leyasu stop, you upsetting Tsuna is not funny, and...Tsuna?

Everyone looked at Tsuna who was silently crying and looked at her two friends, desperately looking at them

" ... You both are not staying with me because you pity me, right?...

" Tsuna we don't pity you, we're your friends and we are staying with you because we care for you, your brother's a dick and just likes causing you pain, just sit down and-" Kiyo said trying to shut Leyasu up

" Hana had a chance to go to that prestigious boys' school Tsuna, the one he always wanted to transfer to, he got in on that same day he was tutoring you in math, and Kiyo insisted on not telling you they didn't want you to feel bad and imagine so many more opportunities they missed because of you, the only reason they would is because THEY. PITY. YOUR. NO. GOOD. SELF.

" SHUT UP RIGHT NOW YOU-"

"...Is what he's said true...that you gave up a chance to go to Midori Middle...for my broken self..."

"...I... you...yes I did...but there were a bunch of other factors involved that did not include you and-"

Tsuna couldn't breathe her heart was racing, she was sweating even more than usual, and everything was spinning, she felt like she was in a different dimension, she saw Hibari approach her telling her to breathe and gently grabbing her hand to walk her out, that just made her more hysterical and she started to cry heavily and her flames started to rise from her body and started to dart towards her friends, the flames didn't burn shockingly, but started to pull on their flames out of their bodies, three streaks of purple started came out them, the rest of the class back away and started to scream at Tsuna to stop

" DON'T...DON'T...DON'T LEAVE ME!!! I NEED YOU GUYS!!!" screamed Tsuna, she vaguely heard three thuds, and soon she came back with Takashi rubbing her back in a soothing fashion and telling her to breathe

" There you go Tsuna...do you feel better?"

" I...what happened...wait how can touch me?"

"...Yeah about that you-'

SLAP!!!

One of Kiyo's fangirls had gone up and slapped Tsuna with tears in her eyes, and pointed to the three bodies lying on the floor, it was Hana, Kiyo, and Hibari, Kiyo's head was bleeding since hit the ground particularly hard

" Look at what you've done you no good sky!!! You nearly killed all of them!!! I thought a sky was supposed to protect their elements, not nearly kill them!!!"

" Hey back off if you want to blame someone blame someone Leyasu'

Tsuna looked at the scene in shock, the nurse had checked them for concussions and was trying to stem the bleeding from Kiyo's head, Tsuna felt the tears coming back and then she saw a legion of angry classmates, glaring at her like she was a monster, her brother hiding in the back out crowd looking at Tsuna in fear, Tsuna with tears in her eyes realized in her emotionally driven fit she had drained their flames dry, most likely given all of them a concussion, and now Kiyo was bleeding out on the floor, that must have been why Takashi was able to touch her, she temporary stabilized herself, she ran out of the classroom and all the way home, ignoring her father's calls and locked herself in her room and cried, a new burning pain came and it was from her heart

She visited them in the hospital, and it turned out it wasn't as bad as it looked, the concussions were mild, and the injury Kiyo got just needed a few stitches, and they were just exhausted for a few days. But for Tsuna school had become even more of her hell, people called her a murderer, said she was unfit to be a sky, and Kiyo's fangirls were the worst telling her to stay away from him, and she complied since she realized they would just get hurt again if they were near her, she wrote them all notes, and left them on her desks, a few days after that incident her fever came back and it was twice as worse, and she transferred out of Namimori, to be home-schooled and better cared for

Flashback End

Tsuna sat there in tears after she finished the story, Nanato looked at his daughter and sighed, he should have known that Leyasu had a hand to play in that mess, but because Tsuna's fever spiked so badly he never got the whole story or an honest account till his friends came over, Kaori gave a sympathetic towards Nanato, but Hisato just had a resigned look, and gave Tsuna a look

"...Do you think you staying away helped "protect them" like Do you honestly believe that?"

" ...Yes...then next time when I get upset I won't nearly kill your son, and he and Kiyo can forget about me'

"...I always wondered if this one ever inherited your wife's stupid like the other one, but I think I see it now..."

" Hisato!"

" No, I'm not apologizing, do you think both our sons and that violent brat would feel safer if they were away from you, it's the opposite little girl, they know the only to heal your imbalance is to be near your elements and you pushing them away is making your condition worse, not to mention they blame themselves, for letting Leyasu get to that point..."

"...But...the girls at school told me-"

" Didn't Hana and I tell you that those girls don't even care to know Kiyo as a person, just because they say you're not good enough to be around them doesn't mean you listen to them when you listen to them you just prove their point...now then Dame-Tsuna what are you going to do?"

"...I'm going to clean myself up and apologize to my friends...and my name is not Dame-Tsuna it's Tsunahime or Tsuna for short a grown adult calling me that is kind of sad don't you think Uncle Hisato" Tsuna whispered as she grabbed some ice and rushed to the shower

Reborn looked at that display and looked at Hisato, Kaori, and Nanato sighed, gave them her smirk, and started to laugh hysterically

" Stop that laughing woman, you said you wanted to figure out what Tsuna's main problems were, and you just saw them, she has no sense of self-respect herself, easily gives up when someone calls no good, and thinks she can't rely on others or ask for help, so are going to help her or are going to sit there laugh?" Hisato demanded he held no respect for Mitsuki and she was going to be dammed if one of her work friends, screwed his friend and his kids over again

" Ha...Ha...I like you, you are fun, and yes, I'll help Tsuna but first, she's got to patch things up with her two clouds and soft mist, tell me are they mad or just miss their sky?"

" Kiyo misses Tsuna a lot, Hana is going to be mad but will forgive...eventually... it's Kyoya I'm worried about, she is known to be...violent...can you go with her to protect her if she gets too rough" Nanato asked

Tsuna soon stumbled down the stairs, wearing a light purple hoodie dress with no sleeves and black shorts underneath, she slipped on her orange sneakers, grabbed her wallet and keys, and grabbed Reborn's hand, Nanato smiled at them, he sighed and started to talk with his friends, despite this morning's shocking revelations things were looking up

Reborn watched as Tsuna picked up several slices of cake and had them boxed, she held a plushy hedgehog under her arm as she paid the counterwoman, she then walked to a nearby park and gave the cakes to Reborn, Tsuna held the hedgehog plushy, and started to walk around the park as Reborn watched her intrigued to see what happens next, Tsuna finally found who she was looking for, a pale girl with black waist length hair, she wore a black sailor uniform, with a dark purple tie, a black skirt and white socks and black shoes, a black jacket was pinned to her shoulders, the Disciplinary Committee armband on her left arm, she was napping in a tree when she heard someone approach her

She looked down and saw a familiar face look up at her, holding the hedgehog plushy, her little animal finally crawled out of the hole she put herself in, and Kyoya jumped out of the tree and accepted the plushy, she put it in the tree and brought her tonfa's

" For causing unneeded drama and worry I will bite you to death..."

"...Oh shit..."

Tsuna in a shocking display of agility for her condition, Tsuna threw herself back away from the initial swing and swerved to the right just as fast as she turned tail and started to run away from Hibari around the park, dodging her friend's swings, she ran and hid behind trees while Hibari chased after her, grinning madly while Tsuna ran around, despite everything she was feeling somehow a bit better, she then hid Reborn who proceeded to throw her right into Kyoya, who pinned her and started wailing on her while Tsuna screamed

" Reborn!!! HELP ME!!! ACK!!! KYOYA I'M SORRY I SHOULDN'T HAVE GHOSTED YOU, JUST STOP HITTING ME!!!" Tsuna yelped in pain while trying to squirm out of her friend's grip

" You should not have ghosted your elements Dame-Tsuna, don't hide behind me, face the consequences of your actions," Reborn said with a smirk, Reborn noticed how people looked at them and felt relieved that Tsuna came back, it seemed like Fawn's little niece is an especially protective cloud, when it came to her territory and sky, Tsuna shutting herself must have caused her to become even more violent for a while

Tsuna knew she had a point, but she would also like most if all of her ribs intact for the time being, 

" I refuse to stop hitting you until you learn that you can't become a weak herbivore again just because people told you to be one, you've come so far and I refuse to let you go back to the path of the weak herbivore, and I will hit you for each day you never came on the roof," Kyoya said, smirking when Tsuna turned blue when she remembered how long she holed herself up in the house, and Reborn took it as her cue to intervene, she quickly shot two bullets at the duo, and Kyoya grabbed Tsuna and both of them rolled away from the shots, Kyoya got up and gave a grin, a strong carnivore the tall woman was, she has a very familiar feeling like a former baby carnivore, and started to approach Reborn, when Tsuna rushed in front of her blocking her way

"...Kyo...no...she is a carnivore, but I think Reborn might be a little too dangerous for you to handle"

"...Are you calling me weak"

" HIEEEE!!! I never said that, but Reborn is like your aunty remember? If you can't beat your aunty, who is a hand-to-hand combat artist, I'm not sure you can handle Reborn who has a gun, remember what we talked about, white water rapids then waterfalls?" Tsuna said while sweating even more than usual, Reborn just grinned and taunted Kyoya by waving her gun

" Hm" Kyoya put away her tonfas, picked up Tsuna, and carried her to Nami Middle

" Eep!? Kyo I can walk you know..."

" We've overdone it with your physical exercise, for the day if you pass out in the street, you'll disturb the peace"

" WE!? YOU WERE THE ONE CHASING ME AND TRYING TO KILL ME!?"

" For good reason small animal"

" Don't forget your stuffed small animal Kyoya"

Nami Middle

The trio entered Nami Middle, and immediately they got attention, everyone looked at Hibari carrying Tsuna across the courtyard, and everyone looked at the sexy foreigner walking behind them and into the building, they went into Hibari's office, Hibari set Tsuna on the couch and Tsuna waited for Hibari to announce Kurokawa Hana and Kiyo Sasagawa to come to the prefect's office, and Tsuna set the cakes on the desk and sat there in silence, Reborn sat next to her and decided to ask her some questions 

" So, Tsuna tell me during your inflicted exile, did you ever feel a tug in your heart, whenever you thought about your three friends?"

" Yes, I did why?"

" That's the bond you share with your elements, and also when you felt their bond did it feel angry and sad?"

" Yes I did Reborn"

" Good, that means your bond with them was strong enough you could feel it from the house, and they could feel yours from their homes...you have a deep bond with them so don't let any more people get between them...clouds and mists are hard to enough to snag by nature, so you shouldn't lose them got it" and for emphasis she hit Tsuna upside the head,

" Ow...Mean Reborn..."

" You got that right baby sky..'

Then at that moment, two boys wearing Nami Middle's school uniform walked in, one had black hair and black eyes the other was shorter and had light brown eyes and hair, they looked to the side and saw Tsuna sitting there she gave them a quiet wave and Hana quickly marched up to Tsuna, pissed as hell

"....You've got a lot of nerve, just ghosting us for the past three months, and then sending us those stupid notes via your brother, and setting us free from what!? That made no frickin sense Tsuna, we keep telling you, we're your friends not because we pity you, but because we care about, you and we're worried, to fix your imbalance we have to be together, and you being apart, made it worse, what do you have to say for yourself Tsuna?"

" I'm sorry  I shouldn't have ghosted you all, but everyone was calling me things and names, I started to genuinely think we would all be better separately..."

"....And how many times have I told you that those people don't know a damn thing about us, so they have no business saying that we should be friends"

" 58 times...I counted...do you forgive me?"

"...Sure...but I got to think of a consequence for this so just you wait..."

"...Kiyo...I'm sorry...I hurt you, an_"

Kiyo grabbed a slice of cake and smashed it in Tsuna's face, everyone looked him and he pouted in response,

" Those fangirls don't know a thing about me, and if they tell you to go away I want you to stand by me and say no alright...now let's go eat cake"

Tsuna had tears in her eyes, grabbed a nearby napkin to wipe her face off, and started to serve her friends until a gunshot spooked everyone and they all looked at Reborn

" Sorry Reborn, oh yeah this is Reborn me and Leyasu's new home tutor,"

 The two boys stared at the beautiful woman who then approached and greeted them'

" Chaos boys, I'm Reborn, and I'm going to help you guys find the rest of Tsuna's elements while training the blonde-haired idiot, speaking of which what class is he in right now?"

" Oh, he didn't come into class today, he told the vice principal that he was doing important sky training with you so he needed the day off," Kiyo said obliviously

Immediately they all felt a nasty, violent aura that made them all look at Reborn who had a nasty grin on her face, and she looked at the four teens, 

" Congratulations kids you get to help me hunt down, Leyasu doesn't that sound fun~"

"...They have class..."

" We have mean Nezu-sensei, and I am pretty sure he didn't go to a top-ranked University, we're not missing a thing" Kyoki cheered as Tsuna looked at him in shock, did he not understand Reborn's intentions

" Hana..."

"...Tsuna don't you want to help the mature Reborn find your immature brother...I'm sure whatever she's going to do to him will be within reason" Hana said dismissing her while blushing, looking at Reborn with a stupid grin on his face, Tsuna then remembered that he had a thing for mature women, so he's going to be going along with whatever nonsense Reborn has, and Kyoya is Kyoya so looks like their doing this

Hopefully it will be within reason

She smiled at her friends as they followed her out of the building to her brother's hideout, Takashi stared at them wistfully before being grabbed by another member of the baseball team to practice, Reborn saw it and had a smirk on her face, she's just found Tsuna a rain, and she's going to have to bond with in order to help her relax her flames

This job was going to be so much fun

A Week Later

Tsuna sat in the kitchen finishing up her homework, she was about to send it to her teacher via email, but she felt someone behind her and turned around to see Reborn slowly reviewing her answers for her math assignment

" Numbers 1,4, 6, 11-13, and 20 are wrong."

" Really...well I'm still getting B- on it if I turn it in like this so does it matter if I fix them?" Tsuna said blasely she wanted to sit in the bathtub to cool off for an hour and she was still getting a C in math overall so fuck it, she then felt killing intent as Reborn shot her a look and quickly started to redo the incorrect problems.

Nanato walked through the door, hands full of groceries he smiled at the two occupants in the kitchen and started to put away everything as Letsuna walked inside the house with his gaggle of fangirls, they glared at Tsuna and she in response rolled her eyes, the homemaker saw that and decided to make it clear that they will leave Tsuna alone

" I believe we have been over this all of you, you will leave Tsu-chan alone, and if I hear one word of the term of broken or no good or any variation of that I will kick you out is that clear?"

" Yes/Yes Papa"

" Good...and Le-kun this is a study group, right?"

" Yes Papa it is a study group...just with more... hands-on stuff'

The girls giggled in response to that, and Tsuna looked at Reborn and made an audible gagging noise which Reborn smirked at, Nanato gave the group a look and told Reborn to go supervise them 

" Papa, my grades are fine, and so are theirs can't you just let me have a little fun?"

" It's Tuesday, you all have school tomorrow, and I'm suspicious about those grades, I know you've been ditching school for at least two-thirds of middle school, and I never see you do any homework"

" Don't worry Papa it's not like the teachers and office staff have been giving him a free pass in school since 6th grade and adjusting his attendance records because he's a sky and will do special things in the future and needs free time now, because that would be a shock!" Tsuna snarked while ignoring the glares Letsuna's fangirls gave her, Nanato gave them a look right back and they simmered down greatly

"...Hold on...Tsuna, Papa do you think the teachers have been letting him slide in school?" Reborn asked with a frown, she knew that sky children got special treatment, but never to this extent, how much sliding and kissing up was happening?

" Not think they do, he doesn't turn up to class, they let him skip or cheat on tests, homework doesn't exist, and they let those girls out too sometimes because they are his elements," Tsuna said dryly, Nanato groaned, and the girls hissed at Tsuna once more

" Well that makes a lot of sense...well time to rectify that...two choices Le-kun; either you all study downstairs in the living room, with Reborn supervising or you all leave this house and Le-kun just studies with Reborn by himself, which will it be?"

"...Come on ladies...hey Dame-Tsuna, here's a list of snacks we want, head to the store and buy them" Letsuna gave Tsuna a list of all the stuff they wanted, and while Tsuna was willing to run errands for them, but Nanato made it clear that they are paying for it out of their own pockets

Tsuna sighed and walked out the door to the usual store, it was rather cool today, but to her, it still felt like she was in a sauna she walked to the store and started to fill the bag up, and saw Kiyo there wearing a salmon pink shirt and blue overalls along with some light purple sneakers, Tsuna was wearing an orange and blue striped shirt and jean shorts, with orange sneakers, they chatted while picking up her brother and his fan clubs snacks

" Honestly...why do you still pick their orders Tsu-chan? All they do is insult you and bully you all the time...if I were you I would eat some of their snacks in spite and tell them the store ran out..." Kiyo asked he heard Tsuna giggle, and he realized that's why she still did it

"...Tsuna...can I help you with your passive-aggressive revenge" Kiyo said with a serious look in his eye, Tsuna nodded with a similar serious look

They both ran out the door, and down the street when they bumped into a man and fell onto the ground

"...Ow...sorry," both of them said as they picked up the scattered snacks on the sidewalk

" Honestly you brats should be looking where you run..."

They both looked up to see a tall tan man with blue hair and scars on his cheeks looking down at them upset, he wore a brown tank top, with black shorts and boots, with goggles on top of his head, he wore a pale cloak with a flame pattern to seal the whole look together, he looked so cool

" Wow mister...you look so cool"

" Yeah...I want a cloak like that I would look so cool in it"

The man rolled his eyes at the kids but got a better look at them...

" Hold on brats your names wouldn't happen to be Kiyo and Tsuna right?" the man asked, the young teen boy tensed up but the girl merely put her hand on his shoulder and gave him a smile he calmed down and answered

" Yes...why?"

"...Your friend broke into me and my group's hotel room, trying to bite us to death or some shit like that, and won't leave, your her sky, right? Go get her" the blue hair man demanded, and Tsuna shrunk back with Kiyo right behind her

"...Yeah I can't do anything about that, her parents kinda sorta run the town and she can do what she wants, and if she broke into your room she must think you're strong or something like that," Tsuna said with a shrug

" Don't care get rid of her"

"I'm supposed to be home in like 20 minutes" Kiyo pointed out

" Don't care get rid of her"

" ...Just call the police, they'll call her parents and they'll get rid of her" Kiyo replied getting worried about where this was going

" No dice fluffballs, they refuse to help on the account of their cousin never telling them she was cured, and told her to handle it"

" Then where is Kyoya's aunt?" Tsuna asked nervously

" Beats me but you kids are helping me find her," the man said with finality

Both teens looked at each other and decided that running was a bad idea, so they we're doing this

"...Smart choice not running I'm already in a bad mood and pissing me off is never a good idea in the slightest fluffballs"

" Sure fine...so what hotel has Kyoya broken into" Tsuna said tiredly 

" The Blossom Inn"

"That's like on the other side of town, and trains are shut down for maintenance too" Kiyo realized

" Well we are not taking the train fluffballs, follow me the name's Lal Mirch brats" 

After shooting a quick text to their parents saying they would be late to get Kyoya out of trouble, they followed the man down the street toward a purple motorcycle, there was a lady with short messy purple hair, wearing a purple tube-top and dark black shorts, and motorcycle boots with skulls on the side, she had chains on her everywhere, piercings and heavy purple makeup on face, she held her motorcycle helmet in her left arm, and seemed to be smoking a cigar talking to some men

" Are you Skull?"

" I went to your shows so many times I'm a huge fan"

" Can you sign my back?"

" Of course, after all, you've been graced by the great Skull, the bitch the reaper hates" the young woman arrogantly said, signing the third man's back

Once the men left, Skull looked to see Lal walking up to her with two young teenagers in tow, before she could ask who they were Lal slapped the cigar out of her hand, looking at her unimpressed

" Just because you have your adult body back does not mean, you should relapse back into your smoking habit, Skull'

" Lal-sempai I'm a big girl and I can smoke cigs whenever I want" Skull whined as she pulled out another one from the pack but this time Lal took the pack and crushed it before dropping it to the ground, which just made Skull whine even more

" Those were supposed to be for me and Verde-sempai, what am I going tell her after you crushed them...they were the last pack in the store too..."

" Quit your whining, and rev your bike, Skull, I found the little maniac's friends, they are going to help us track down Fawn"

" UGH!!! You guys are that little beast's friends, you both look like nice kids, what are you doing hanging out with someone like that anyway" Skull asked as she fitted them with helmets and sat them into the sidecars

" Kyoya may be a little rough and tumble, but she just wants to prove she's strong" Kiyo replied

" Why?"

"...It's personal"

" I understand kids...wait...Lal-sempai don't they have parents that might be worried about them?"

"...Eh...they sent texts to their daddies, and this doesn't look like it's the first time that little psycho has done this" Lal said putting his helmet on and sitting behind Skull

"...If we get charged for kidnapping I'm blaming you sempai, I just want you to know that...anyway Fawn-sempai said she wanted to eat Mapo-Tofu at a favorite spot of her's here...any chance you kids know where that is?"

" Yeah hold on...ok just take a right here then go straight for about 20 minutes," Tsuna said

" 10 minutes got it"

" No, I said 20 min-"

Skull let out a yell, revved the engine of her bike, and proceeded to go at top speed through the streets of Namimori, nearly hitting just about every other vehicle or person on the road, she skidded to a stop in front of the restaurant where Fon looked in surprise at Skull, Lal and Kyoya's little friends who wobbled off the bike looking green and holding the bag of snacks

" Hi Fawn-sempai, Lal-sempai found your evil niece's little friends, let's head back and make them get rid of her"

" I just got here, let's go inside and eat first then we can go deal with my niece," the Chinese woman said with a smile, her hair was in two pigtails, and she wore a red kung-fu style shirt, white pants, and black kung-fu shoes

" I am not hungry and, we should hurry up, you know what the doctor said about Luc's stress levels and your niece is making them spike up for all we know"

" Well then, how about for the sake of Tsuna, she does not look well," Fawn said with a frown pointing to Kiyo helping Tsuna inside the restaurant, Tsuna looked close to passing out, and Kiyo quickly rushed her to a table and ordered her a big glass of water, the three former babies watched the scene and realized that there was something wrong with her

" Kyoya did say that Tsuna was a damaged sky...but it looks like it's worse than I imagined...Lal, she's Mitsuki's daughter isn't she, what happened to her?"

"...My idiot boss and Nono sealed her flames when she was young, and it caused an internal imbalance, she couldn't pull her flames, and she was harassed for being a broken sky and other misinformation made it worse, until it all came to a head, I'm assuming she managed to unseal herself, but now is like this since she is such a potent sky but only has a few elements, she's like this overheating and such..."

"...Sempai...is she going to be okay..."

"...She'll get better as long as she finds more elements, and she already has two clouds and a mist, but she needs more than that"

Soon Tsuna walked back out of the restaurant, looking a bit better but not really, Kiyo gave them all a stern look

"...We need to make this quick, take us to the hotel now if this takes any longer, we may have to take her to the hospital, it's the dehydration that's the problem, let's get Kyoya, so I can take her home"

Sakura Inn

Kyoya was mad, not only did the carnivores refuse to fight her, but they tied her up on the couch while calling her aunt and telling her to come get her, and even worst part was the man in the wheelchair wearing all white, with a big hat smiling at her and talking to her, she hated small talk

" Oi Luc you're not going to get an answer out of her kora, you should just leave her there until her aunt comes kora," the blond military woman wearing some camo-print pants and a plain blue tanktop said as she went back to her crunches

" I know it's just funny to see a little more violent and immature-looking Fawn don't you think?" Luc said with a grin, he then heard Kyoya growl at him at that remark

" For calling immature...I shall bite you to death..."

" You think she's been watching too much Animal Planet because I think she has...you shouldn't bite people to death young one..."

"...I will especially bite you to death weak carnivore..."

" I'm not a carnivore, I'm an omnivore like most humans young lady but if you eat meat all the time of course you would be cranky all the time,"

" I want to fight you people..."

" But we don't want to fight you, and if we did you would be severely injured"

" I don't care"

" Well you should because if you bite off more than you can chew, it won't be a good experience"

"Hn"

" Alright then did you see how easily Colonella dispatched you, imagine if we didn't just tie you up and left you like this, it could have become a True Crime podcast don't you think?"

"Hn"

Luc sighed and then the door opened and Lal, Skull, and Fon walked in with two teens trailing behind them, Luc immediately felt discourse from the girl and realized something was wrong with her

"...You brought the omnivore with you..."

" We were dragged here against our will, and we just hoped your Aunt would have sorted you out, but no you just had to punch above your weight class...times three" Kiyo snarked staring down Kyoya who at least had the dignity to look slightly,  ashamed while Fawn untied her, Kyoya immediately tried to attack her aunt but stopped when she heard a gun click, it was Lal, who had it pointed at Kyoya who got the message and sat down, who then faced Tsuna

"...So... you my boss's daughter...be happy you look nothing like that woman, stupid and not a looker isn't a good mix"

" Isn't that your boss?"

" Who is severely underqualified for her job, to be honest, I got three immature blondes at my workplace, and only one of them isn't unbearable most of the time, and it isn't you Nella" 

" Lal you wound me kora, I'm the cute perky girl that makes your day at work better"  Colonella pouted as she approached Lal hugging him, making sure her breasts were on his back, Lal turned red and pushed Colonella away, she laughed in response

" No, your the 90-something-year-old woman who permanently looks in her late 20s, still crushing on her superior, and not taking a damn thing seriously in life, and Basilica is the cute perky girl in CEDEF "

"...Meanie Lal kora..." Colonella pouted while hugging Lal again, this time he didn't move away

Tsuna smiled at the little exchange, and then felt a warm washcloth on her forehead, she looked and saw the man in white giving her a sad smile in understanding

"... You are so warm...I was like you once...and I just want you to know it will get better as long as you don't give up...you already have two clouds and a mist, and considering how potent of a flame you have, you may need more than one of each element, but you've already attracted two of the most difficult ones, so just keep trying" Luc said and Tsuna started tearing up she could count on only one hand how many people told her to keep trying and Kiyo felt the increasing warm embrace coming for both skies, this must be what sky harmonization feels like, a rare scene and he got to witness it, the other people in the house must have felt it too since more people came out to see

" Luc-sempai...I've never felt something like this...and only a few skies can match you in harmonization level...if we weren't uncursed then wouldn't she be"

" Skull don't speak it into existence, we got lucky that cruel woman said someone gave her the solution, do not jinx it," Luc said firmly and Skull set her mouth, Tsuna and her friends tensed up after hearing that, and Luc reassured her that it was nothing that concerned them

" Never mind that kids...looks like it's gotten late...do your parents know you're here?"

" Yeah...kind of...maybe...I should call them"

Tsuna grabbed her phone and immediately saw all the missed calls, this was going to be hard to explain, so she quickly dialed her father's phone number and heard her father's panicked voice

" Tsu-chan Papa heard from one of his friends her saw you and Kiyo got kidnapped by a foreign man, are you okay?"

" Yes, we're fine, and this was Kyoya's fault for the way she tried to fight her auntie's friends, and one of them is one of Mama's employees, I think Mama was showing pictures of us at work because he recognized Kiyo and me almost right away" 

".... WHAT!?.... SHE DID WHAT NOW!?... Oh no... are we going to have hitmen around the house trying to kill us and take us hostage...I can't deal with that..." Nanato moaned he couldn't believe his wife would be so reckless

"...Wow he does know...she always called you her airheaded lovely husband at work, so I assumed it was a relationship with two idiots and their idiot kids...no offense," Lal said into the phone, he could have sworn he heard several voices hiss Mitsuki's name

"...Ugh...who are you sir...are you the man who kidnapped my daughter and her friend...and is my wife's employee"

"...Yeah...sorry about your brats...do you want us to drop them off because we can be there as quickly as possible"

They then heard a familiar voice ask Nanato to give them the phone and heard other voices too talking over each other

" Chaos Lal, Fawn, Luc, Nella, and Lackey...I heard you guys kidnapped one of the candidates for Decimo or Decima in Tsuna's case...any reason why"

" I think Reborn is losing her touch, you should have taught her how to wrangle her Cloud better kora"

" Zip it, Nella, I'm training twins, I was told to prioritize whoever is in better condition to be the next boss, as you can guess the girl is in no place to handle any form of training until  she stabilizes a bit more, so I'm training the boy..."

" Is the boy any good?" Lal asked hopeful for a better boss in the future

"...He's a storm-leaning sky, who is severely spoiled and has an extremely inflated sense of self, just about every adult and kid in his school is kissing up to him, and that is just too major stuff...and he acts like Mitsuki...he's on a baseball team though...but I don't think he's any good"

"...I am not working under another Mitsuki, you better fix him'

"...Well I'm trying...how's Tsuna?'

" She harmonized with Luc-sempai...it was amazing Reborn sempai," Skull said in a small voice

"...Lackey...you haven't started smoking again have you"

"....No?"

"...Sure...you better not smell like smoke when I see you"

" Ok, sempai..."

" Nanato and Kaori I'm sorry my niece got your kids caught up in her nonsense, they're fine by the way, and Kyoka...do you have something to say to them?"  Fawn said firmly, and Kyoya muttered an apology to the men until she heard a firm voice call her out

"....Cousin of mine...you got your curse broken and you never told us...how cruel of you..." a deep female voice said over the phone

" Forgive me Kanami...when we got our bodies back we were so overjoyed but, took the celebrating a little too far...I forget what being hungover felt like"

"I understand...now where is Kyoya...I want to have a word with her..." Kanami purred if you could hear it there was a tone of anger, and Kyoya heard it and set her jaw while her mother started to scold her

" Remember the video of the young lion who tried to hunt that buffalo but realized that it was too much for him and wound up getting killed...your situation with the Arcobaleno is similar except they didn't try to kill you...what were you thinking just breaking in there? Imagine if the especially immoral ones were there do you how bad that could have gone...and dragging your sky and her mate into the disaster you caused for yourself... it's fine to test one's strength but stick to your weight class until you have more experience...do you understand Kyoya?"

"Yes, Mother...do I still get the fight with the former small carnivore?"

"...No...your fight with your aunty, will be pushed to the next six months, let this be a lesson to teach you to control yourself when you see strong carnivores...some of your aunty's friends may have qualms about severely harming a child, but not all..." Kyoya growled and stomped out of the hotel room, while Kiyo and Tsuna looked at her and sighed, she's going to be a pain to deal with for a while, they then heard, chewing and wrappers, they saw the snacks they bought for Leyasu's group being eaten by Lal, Fon, Skull, and Colonella

" HIEEE!!! Wait stop those aren't for you guys, they are for my brother and his harem," Tsuna cried as she tried to grab the bag of snacks from Lal who gave her a look and simply moved his arm back and forth out of her reach, forcing her to jump around, before giving her the empty bag back...they ate it all

" That wasn't for you guys, and you shouldn't eat other people's food, you will reimburse Tsuna understand?" Luc said firmly, Skull rolled her eyes put some crumpled bills into Kiyo's hands, and went to start up the bike, Kiyo shoved the bills in his pocket held Tsuna's hand, and guided her to the door before Luc called out to them, and gave them a wrapped present, it was wrapped in yellow paper and had Reborn's name on it

"...Give it to her for me, please...We haven't been able to talk since she had to train your brother...I miss her presence..."

" Sure no problem, goodbye Luc-san"

The pair walked outside the hotel door, and Luc let his smile fall into a more neutral look, wheeled himself into his room, and took out a piece of paper with fancy handwriting

I bet you did...anyway, let's play a game...I didn't think of the solution to your curse all by my lonesome you know...A special someone helped me, and I would tell you who they were, but I may have scared them with stories of how crazy you guys are. They were adamant I don't give their identity to the likes of you directly... but not indirectly...so I'll give you a hint...the person who gave me the solution had nothing to lose nor gain. Yet, she gained and lost something in return...and don't think too hard...wouldn't want you to pop a vein searching for someone who threw your future vision off...

He sighed and burned the paper...this woman just loved toying with them...first, she randomly turned up and gave them their adult bodies back, then said someone helped her with a real solution and refused to tell them...the only way they would get answers is if they caught and interrogated her which had slim odds happening or play this game

One dangerous ride home later, Tsuna and Kiyo waved goodbye to Skull while Kyoya glared at Skull who shivered in fear and quickly drove off, Tsuna went to the front door and was quickly embraced by her father, Kiyo as well, Nanami smiled at Kyoya and guided her to the front door

"...Till we meet again Nato...it was nice knowing that an herbivore like you can bite...Kyoya let's go...I'm making Hamburg steak...your favorite"

"Hmph"

" We should go to Kiyo...Nanato I hope no more drama comes to your doorstep soon "

As soon as the other guests left Letsuna and his "harem" came from the living room looking drained and tired, Reborn came from behind them grinning like a shark, the girls ran out in fear while Letsuna glared at Reborn who just patted his head, Nanato sighed and shut the door and let everyone to the kitchen for dinner

" Hey Tsuna, sorry my...colleagues picked you and Sasagawa's boy up, but you missed an excellent tutoring session...shame Mitsuki used her brain for once and wrote it on paper that I can't do any physical training with you...other types however are on the table.... how to hold your liquor, how to use your looks to lie to the police...seduction..." Reborn purred as Tsuna shivered at that last one focusing on her soup hard

"....Reborn stop it, I do not want to think about you teaching my daughter to seduce older men during dinner, or ever in that manner...how is she even going to be involved that much in this mafia nonsense considering her health" Nanato said as he served Reborn her espresso, 

" It's because of her heritage she's going to be involved, she has Vongola blood and is a sky which makes her valuable as a potential wife/bargaining tool, poor health or not she needs to train to at least be able to defend herself, her friends too...as much as I regret to say it" 

"...All of them have just entered their mid-teens, and now they have to train to square up with flame-using criminals, and who is going to? Letsuna is already prioritizing most of your time and even you can be stretched thin...if we are going to do this, you're going to need help" Nanato said firmly as he set down his plate

"We?"  Reborn chuckled in a slightly mocking manner as she bent down to his level

Nanato gulped but steeled himself and stood and looked Reborn in the eyes, lighting flames started to rise from him, raising his hair and everyone else's in the kitchen, his normally warm brown eyes, darkening with a green tint

"...Yes, we...get whatever presumptions you have about me out of your head, if you think I'm staying out of this you're wrong, they are my children, and if we're doing this, we're doing this right...I know one of your friends can teach them about combat at least, while you manage Letsuna, call them and see if they are available to train the others If they want money get Mitsuki to pay for it, but I can also give them food and shelter...so after dinner call them and see whoever is free for the next few years...understand...Reborn?"

Reborn smiled at Nanato and went back to eating, stealing food from either of the twins whenever she could, she loved the new developments for this job...who knew the airheaded homemaker could show such a large amount of dying will...Fawn is visiting her family over here for a while, perhaps she could help out

Reborn sat on her guest bed in the Sawada household holding the present giggling as she shook it trying to guess what it was...that new coffee she wanted, those new sundresses, perhaps a bigger tank for Leone, she shook it until Nanato came in with her laundry and set it down, smiling when he saw Reborn fiddling with the gift, Reborn saw him and she threw it across the room pretending she wasn't acting like a lovesick teenager Leone turned into a heart mocking her mistress who 

" Ara~ Reborn has a gift from her boyfriend?"

" No"

" Husband?"

"Not"

"Lover?"

" One of them"

"Oh, how did you meet?"

" A Familia bankrupted themselves paying for me to kidnap him...he's kind of like you just more prone to violence, and way harder to catch than I thought for a sickly man, I got him and held him at my apartment, and kept him there till the people came...he talked to me, but I didn't answer him, then he flirted with me and I slapped him, then he insulted me I insulted him, and then I got his name...Luc, and then one thing led to another, I banged him, and we kept talking, he's my sky, he's feeling healthier than ever these days, and I want to be with him like to old days...then I got contracted to train a spoilt brat and his sickly sister in a sleepy town, so this gift is a relief for me"

"...You know Reborn...even though I only expect one of your friends to come, as long as you tell me, you can bring your sky and any of your other friends over"

" But you and your sky don't do anything R18 in my house got it"

" Also your pet unwrapped your gift...it looks like a gift basket with treats, skincare products, dresses, coffee, and...is that a little doll of a shaman?"

Letsuna was very confused as Reborn came down the next morning, holding a doll, Tsuna looked at it and recognized it as a tiny doll of Reborn's sky

"Aren't you a little too old to be playing with dolls?"

" Shut up Letsuna what I do is none of your business, and its my sky's baby form as a doll"

"Really...he seems like a pretty weak sky like Tsuna, I bet he can't even throw a punch, why do you follow someone like that anyway... it looks like the Arcobaleno are lower class than I thought"

If training was harsher than usual it's because Reborn was testing him for level 2 and not because of that comment that morning.

Chapter Text

Letsuna grumbled to himself as Reborn walked him and his useless sister's friends to school, he was supposed to meet with his friends a little before school started and then maybe turn up to class a bit later, but no Papa just had to tell Reborn about him skipping and making sure he went to class, he was a sky he was made to be successful, school or not

"Just because you're a sky doesn't mean you don't need to work for success, best you get that thinking out of your head, otherwise when you meet people who refuse to let you slide, it will be ten times more difficult than it should"  Reborn said while riding on top of his head in baby form

" I didn't even say anything"

"It's written on your face Baka-Letsuna"

Letsuna pouted and turned away from Reborn, Hana was red in the face daydreaming about adult Reborn whenever he could and Kiyo just sighed and tried to pretend he was holding Tsuna's sleeve guiding her to class, he missed her company, he then heard panting and saw Tsuna stumbling her way to them, in house slippers, a white shirt with a cartoon on it, and blue shorts, with a bento in hand, Kiyo went up and caught her before she fell, not even cringing at the heat of her skin or sweaty shirt, Tsuna smiled gratefully and balanced herself before approaching and handing Letsuna his lunch

" You forgot your lunch Letsuna"

Letsuna took it unwrapped it and took a look inside, he analyzed it and proceeded to throw it at Tsuna, covering her in food, Tsuna didn't even look shocked and just shook the rice out of her hair, while Kiyo and Hana yelled at Letsuna, Reborn was astounded and decided to observe the situation

" ...What was wrong with it this time, asshole?" Tsuna asked unimpressed

" I told you I didn't want chicken, I want beef, I don't want vegetables and I think the rice is too strong, and you should know my taste by now" Letsuna said with a grin while Kiyo gave Tsuna a handkerchief to clean herself

" And I told you, I make what's in the house, I am not spending my money for things you want, and Papa made it"  Tsuna said blandly

Then some of Letsuna's top cronies Mochida and two others came up and Letsuna smiled at his sister full of malice and went to them displeased

" Good morning Letsuna...say why are you upset?" Mochida asked, behind him, Tsuna's eyes widened, and she backed away preparing to run, the other two boys grabbed her arms and dragged her in front of Mochida who looked at her displeased and then suddenly got aggressive, Kiyo and Hana tried to intervene, but Mochida held his Kendo sword in a threatening manner towards Tsuna and they both backed off slowly gritting their teeth in anger, Tsuna looked frightened but just smiled at them

"...Can you believe the audacity of this no good sky...I ask her to make me a simple breakfast and she can't even do that...what am I supposed to eat for lunch now?"  Letsuna said as if he was giving Tsuna a simple order that she bumbled and the three of them glared at her, and she shrunk in fear and Reborn jumped off Letsuna's head and saw Kiyo and Hana looking at her, begging her to stop this before it escalated any further

" Letsuna wait I'll make you a new-" Tsuna begged him before Mochida punched her in the stomach, she groaned in pain, before throwing up her breakfast, and Kiyo screamed at them to stop and Hana stared at Reborn for help, they couldn't fight these thugs

"....I've had it up to here with you Dame-Tsuna, a sky who can't control her flames, the Sawada family's disappointment, and you can't even your brother's lunch right, and leeching of Kiyo and Hana I don't understand why they hangout with you...It would be best if you were taught a lesson...this afternoon in the gym I make sure you learn to respect Letsuna and show these two what a waste of time you are, and remember I know your hiding spots so it would be in your interest to show up" Mochida said while Letsuna laughed at the display, the two holding Tsuna said their hands were starting to hurt, so Mochida picked up his kendo stick and made several mock hits towards Tsuna's, she was crying and begging them not hurt her, Kiyo was crying begging to stop before Hana yelled at Reborn to intervene

" FOR THE LOVE OF FLAMES HELP US REBORN!!! THEY'VE HIT HER WITH THAT THING BEFORE AND HAVE BROKEN HER BONES AND GIVEN HER CONCUSSIONS!!!" Hana yelled rushing over trying to make the two thugs let go of Tsuna with Kiyo doing the same, they were knocked to the ground, and Reborn then stepped in front of the group pointing Leone at them and giving them a warning

" I would let go of her if I were you before I give you something to be scared of "

"Or what little girl...you gonna shoot us?" The three boys laughed, and then in a burst of flames Reborn grew into her adult self towering over them and shooting three bullets at them close enough to their faces not to hurt them but to feel the heat

" Your damn right I will, and I don't shoot blanks as you can see...now beat it, hooligans," Reborn said killing intent on fully on as she waved the guns the boys screamed in fear and ran away, Letsuna tried to run but Reborn grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and knocked him to the ground, he tried to yell at her but one look from her shut him up, Tsuna was sobbing loudly while Kiyo and Hana in tears also were hugging and comforting her, close contact sunburns be damned

" When I first met you I realized you would be a piece of work, but I didn't think you would be this awful...using a flame you were lucky to be born with to get teenage thugs to beat and bully your sister who is in poor health, and you've caused serious damage to her because of that...get your ass to that school and don't think about ditching because I will be there in a flash, and I will be telling your father and idiot mother about this Letsuna...NOW"

Letsuna got up and backed away from Reborn, but before saying one last mocking comment

"...You always have strong people defending you guys, but when they're gone you guys can't fight worth a damn...weak elements for a weak sky I attract each other suppose..." he sneered

A warning gunshot from Reborn made him shriek and he hightailed it to Nami Middle, Reborn then looked at the crying teens who were still reeling from the incident

" Enough of that all of you, those idiots are gone, get off the ground and wipe your faces you two are going to be late for class"

"...But what he said is true Reborn...without my big sister or Kyoya we're useless in a fight and can't even defend our sick sky, what kind of elements are we" Kiyo sobbed

" What use is being brave if you're not strong enough to use it" Hana croaked while wiping his face"

" He's right...he's always been right..." Tsuna whispered

Then Reborn turned Leone into a mallet and hit all of them in the heads with it, they hissed in pain grabbing their heads, and saw Reborn looking down at them unimpressed, and moving her finger in an up motion they all stood up to look her in confusion

"...That idiot is right unfortunately and none of you can fight worth a damn...but you all have the will to fight and that is something I saw in all of you and can work with"

" Reborn he has a gang full of Nami's strongest athletes how are we supposed to fight against that, the scene you just saw proved it" Tsuna said dryly and she got whacked again for her trouble

" Because a gang of kids who just know how to throw mediocre punches and rely on numbers to make for fighting skill can't match up in the long term for a cloud and a sun that have been honing their fighting skills and talent for years if he has the number advantage, we have the quality and loyalty advantage Tsuna" Hana gasped realizing they had an advantage and Reborn grinned in delight, Hana was a sharp one 

" Loyalty?"

" Yes Tsuna-chan loyalty, my sister loves you as another little sibling and Kyoya could have stopped hanging out with us years ago but didn't...she must think all of us are strong or have inner strength somehow..."

"... You're right...and I know some of those gang members hold no real loyalty towards Letsuna...guys...I'm going to fight Mochida" Tsuna said firmly and Kiyo looked in shock while Hana was against it

" Are you insane!? He's captain of the Kendo Club, and you can barely walk a mile on a good day, how will you beat him?"  he asked incredulously at Tsuna's uncharacteristic bold choice

" Because fuck him and my brother called you two weak...anyone willing to put up with a sky who drains so much flame from them without a complaint is strong and he never tries anything especially violent towards us without two or more people with him so that means he can't fight his own battles without support...and besides I think I can beat Mochida we just need a plan..."

" Tsuna you are not obligated to fight him, we should just tell Uncle Nanato and those monkeys' parents and end it like that"

" That's the thing it won't stop even if we tell the adults, we need to scare him into leaving Tsuna alone but how..."  Kiyo pointed out and all of them wracked their heads until they heard Reborn laughing out loud and looked at her she was grinning at them like she was proud

" That's what I'm looking for kids, if they call you weak, find a way to get stronger and make sure you do it with your dying will...I'll help you guys out with this because I think that brat needs some humility beat into him, and to dethrone him from his ill-gotten throne...I have a feeling that what went down had an external factor to make it escalate and have a theory to test"

"Well she is a mature woman and she seems to know what she's doing...alright what do we need Reborn?" Hana asked curious to see what was going to happen

" Tsuna go back home and dress in tight but comfortable clothes and make sure to grab a dress you can easily slip on"

"Why?"

"Do you wanna win this fight or not?"

" Fine"

"And you two...try not to freak out when I do my part...it might look bad but it will be worth it in the end"

"... You're acting like we're about to witness a crime" Kiyo pointed out concerned

" Just do what I said brats"

Nami-Middle

Kyoya's eyes widened as she got the news from her omnivore's somewhat herbivorous mate that she was going to fight the captain of the Kendo club, she didn't get that involved with herbivore fights but if the omnivore was going to be the star of it that made her interested, she always wanted her bite 

" And so Reborn is going to do...something and you've gotta promise not to freak"

"Hn"

"Thanks for your cooperation Kyoya"

Afternoon came and soon just about the whole school came to see the fight or beat-down between Tsuna and Mochida, Mochida stood in front of the crowd slightly confused about why he was here

" Letsuna why am I here...and why is your sister here I thought she was homeschooled," Mochida asked and Letsuna glared at him as if he were stupid

"You're fighting to defend my honor remember...she refused to make my lunch to my specifications and so you gotta make her pay for me Mochida...unless you want to fail me? Remember I'm king here and I'll get you kicked out of the Kendo club if you fail me..."

"...Letsuna I'm fighting a small girl who can't control her flames, and there is a high chance she doesn't know where she is or what's happening, Dame-Tsuna or not, and all this over a bento? If you don't like the way she makes it just do it yourselves this is going to look bad in so many ways if this gets on the internet" Mochida pointed out, he wants to do the national competition coming up and getting into a fight with a small defenseless girl isn't going to look good for his prospects at all

" Are you telling me you are not going to fight her?"

"No...I don't know why I'm here and unlike you, I care about my future and I'm not beating up your sister over a bento"

Meanwhile in a nearby tree Reborn sat waiting
