Eldritchrune

Summary:

In another universe, one of medieval times with dark eldritch horrors lurking just under the surface, Kris is adopted off the street by the Dreemurr family. Their relatively peaceful existence is upended when they are sacrificed to the demon prince, Ralsei, and wind up in the Dark World. With Ralsei guiding them, they set out into a world of strange horrors, befriending great eldritch beasts as they journey. With such monstrosities at their side, they are set on returning to the Light World...and finding retribution.

Notes:

Eldritchrune is a dark Deltarune AU that grew out of various asks on my tumblr, and now has a host of art and writing, including comic scenes! Eldritchrune will include comic pages, and potentially also prose with illustrations. Please be aware that scenes are not drawn in chronological order...they're simply tackled as I want to do them. They will eventually be posted in chronological order, but are not produced in order.

Individual scenes may also have distinct content warnings depending on what happens! Be sure to check the notes at the start of each chapter for any and all content warnings.

This first chapter provides a summary of the whole AU, while future chapters will go into individual scenes.

Summary:

After Asriel leaves for his extended study at the university, Toriel and Asgore begrudgingly invite Kris to a secret gathering...but not as a guest.

Chapter 3: A Dark Welcome

Summary:

Kris wakes up in the Dark World, and is greeted by Ralsei, a demon prince. Realizations of what's happened hit them, and Ralsei gives them an offer they can't refuse.

Chapter 7: The World Revolving

Summary:

While exploring the ruins of Card Castle, Kris stumbles across a strange bound god of chaos deep beneath the castle. The god, Jevil, proves to be a formidable foe. It's only with the help of the Fun Gang that Kris can defeat the god.

Chapter 18: Three Dreemurrs

Summary:

Back in the Light World, the Dreemurrs are still going through their own motions trying to deal with the results of the sacrifice from months ago. Asgore is confronted by Mayor Holiday, Toriel tries to lighten the mood by visiting Sans, and Asriel remains on his search to find Kris...only to run into an interesting figure.
