Chapter Text

"It really seems like there's no way around it, no other option but to enroll you in this school. I hope you won't disappoint me; the least I can expect from you is to have become a divine visionary. I hope you understand."

Those were the last words from your father when you found out you were going to the prestigious Easton School of Magic, bringing us to the current moment. You stand in the midst of a field, surrounded by a bunch of boys and girls, swaying back and forth in sheer boredom. I mean, you didn't even want to be here, but if it means being away from home, why not? Maybe you should give it a shot.

"Did they release a new volume of my favorite light novel?" You think to yourself as you gaze at the sky, rocking back and forth, before feeling a pair of eyes behind you, as if staring right at you. Turning your head, you see someone you were already expecting to find.

"Oh, hey Lance!" You turn around, now facing the boy with blue hair. "I thought you wouldn't come to this school. Knowing you, you'd probably show your claws to your parents and lock yourself in your room just to avoid setting foot here," Lance says, stepping away from the tree and now walking towards you, locking eyes with your childhood friend. You cross your arms.

"I could have done that, but I think I'll give it a shot. If it means staying away from home."

"I never really understood your family thing," Lance asserts, sighing, while you just shrug. Looking over your shoulder, you see something in the midst of the crowd. Moving away from Lance, you walk towards that group.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?!" Lance shouts when he notices you distancing yourself."Be right back, real quick!" You say, walking away without listening to what the boy says. Meanwhile, you focus on what seems to be a guy lifting weights."Weird, but strangely interesting," you think as you watch the boy, who is now reading a book while sitting in mid-air.

Suddenly, your attention is drawn upwards to someone, a professor, who begins to speak. "Greetings, welcome to Easton Academy of Magic. I'll be overseeing this examination. My name is Claude Lucci."

The students then begin to talk among themselves, even praising the man. You can't help but think, "Is that banana hair of his real?" as you hear students say, "He was elected the 7th revelation mage of the year." You see the professor swell with pride, and you make a slight grimace at the man's arrogance.

"He must be feeling really hot after coming out of all that fire," you hear the weightlifting guy say. You look at him as he speaks, then shift your gaze to the professor, your expression dropping for a few seconds.

"Now let's begin the first exam, please take a seat," the professor says, but you look around and see nothing. Soon, the ground starts shaking, and some desks rise from the earth. Papers above in the sky fall along with feathers."Could have taken us to a ready-made room," the black-haired guy speaks again, making you smile before redirecting your attention to sit at one of the tables with a chair.Holding the paper, you see the various words moving. Letting out a tired sigh, you pull out your wand from your sleeve and point it at the paper. "Alignmatus," you say, and some words start aligning, except a few that refuse to obey. This makes you smile mischievously as you whisper, "You better listen to my spell; I'd hate to burn you all," and all the words comply with the spell, aligning themselves. After the alignment, you let the wand fall, tucking it back into your sleeve. Taking the quill, you start answering the test without any issues.Unaware that someone is staring at you, you finish and put the quill down. Getting up, you go towards the professor and hand over the paper.

After a few more exams, you become more impressed by the mushroom-haired boy. That is until the professor says, "This is the next test!" Walls of grass then grow, creating a labyrinth.

Chapter Text

You were alone within those walls, but you could hear conversations from others."Well, let's go, always take the right!" You say, already walking and turning to the right, navigating and observing the monsters. They weren't too strong or too weak; it was just a matter of pulling some grass and wall vines to divert their attention."Scram, buddy!" You say as you create an opening for the monster to fall through.
Starting to run along the path, you accidentally bump into someone, causing the person to fall backward. "I'm sorry, I wasn't looking," you say upon seeing the red-haired boy. You help him up, and he seems to be staring at you."It's okay, goodbye!" You say, already running to the other side, realizing that you're now out of the labyrinth.

"Ah... I got out... didn't even have time to kill those worms," you think, imagining the monsters begging for mercy as you make thorns pierce through their chests. You smile at the thought.

Before a noise jolts you awake, looking back, you see the mushroom-haired boy breaking the labyrinth walls. You watch as the students are now furious about the situation. The uproar irritates you, and you rub your forehead, sighing. You contemplate intensely, resisting the urge to grab your wand and bury all those who are shouting in the ground."(Name)!" You feel a hand on your shoulder and quickly look to the side, confused. It's Lance."Hey," you say calmly, now observing the commotion.
The mushroom-haired boy breaking the professor's wand brought a slight smile to your face, enjoying the professor's suffering. Soon after, someone arrives."Quiet down," looking at the person in the sky, you see the director."From now on, we will begin the final interviews. At this moment, I will be in charge of the examination."
It seems that the students are shocked, much like the proud professor."But sir, why are you here?" Claude asks, to which the director responds by simply turning around and saying, "Mr. Claude, go to my office when everything is finished." You smile when the professor goes down on his knees. You're now in a good mood, something Lance can only sigh about beside you.

Chapter Text

"Let's move on to the next one," almost half of the students had already gone, and now only the other half remained. You were chosen at this moment, which leads you to face the old bearded man whose name you've forgotten, while he's up there."Very well, now let's begin the final interview with the student (name) (last name and middle name)," he announces.

You swing your arms back and forth in boredom as you wait for the old man to speak."Now, my dear, can you tell me why you chose this school?" he asks.

You just sigh, stopping the arm swings. "Actually, it was my family; I just said okay," you say, shrugging, while the wizards seem to glance at each other and then back at you.

"Very well, now the next question. What do you hope to achieve from this school?" You pause to think. You still had no exact idea of what to do, aside from staying away from your relatives, maybe traveling. But now, realizing, this is a prestigious school, and not just that, many students aim to become divine visionaries.

Not only that, from what you perceive, this interview is not just to confirm who will enter the school; they are probably hiding something. Perhaps they are thinking about how to discover if there is anyone who could be a threat in the future.

I mean, you kind of want to learn more about magic and the world. Not only that, but you simply don't care about humans, not even your family. I mean, everyone is as screwed up as you, but still, you prefer pride. Most humans are ignoring the poverty of people, but...

Pointing out your hatred for society, the government, and not only that, expressing a desire to gain knowledge in the future is a clear indication that you could potentially be a danger to humanity. So, maybe it's better to mask it with a half-truth.

"I want to become a divine visionary; I want to help the weak," you say.

Not that you actually want to become one, but it would be better to emphasize that since your family kind of expects you to do so."You know, becoming a divine visionary is not one of the easiest tasks. Besides, you would have to be prepared. You never know if you'll end up fighting someone stronger than you. Are you truly willing to accept that?"

"Good move, director," you think while nodding, smiling, as the director also smiles. "Very well, welcome (name)."

Chapter Text

A lot has happened, including the choice of dormitories. As some students were called, your name was mentioned, and you were placed in the Adler house. The classes were different, and that's why it was a bit strange to be in a class with the mushroom-haired boy.The teacher then begins to introduce herself and start the lesson. "Today we will learn one of the most basic spells: the unlocking spell. First, I'll show you how it's done."

It was kind of boring; I mean, it's a basic spell, and you already know it by heart. So, while the teacher was taking the lock and opening it with the spell, you were already opening and closing yours out of boredom. It was tiresome to say the least."Optisart! You must imagine that you are opening the lock while infusing magical energy into it," she explains. In reality, it was much simpler. At first, visualization might help, but later, just the thought of wanting to open it is enough. But you don't want to come off as a know-it-all, not when you're trying not to become a divine visionary. So, for now, you just need to get good grades, enough to stay but not so good that it might give you a chance to become a divine visionary.

"Optis, ah, arts," you yawn midway through the spell's explanation, but it's already enough for that lock to open. This makes you poke it with the wand while it's already unlocked.

Things got interesting when the teacher got annoyed. This makes you smile as you watch her get angry and the student respond. So far, you don't know his name, but whoever he is, he's bringing one of the things you like—fights and drama. Not that you like to admit it out loud.

Chapter 6: EP.05

Chapter Text

Following that were the dormitories. As the school was a boarding school, it was common to have a shared room with a roommate. Now, as you walk through the corridors looking, you finally find it."107!" you say as you knock on the door and then open it. There's that blonde girl from earlier."Oh, hello! I'm Lemon, and you are?"
"(Name)," you reply, shaking her hand. It seems that your roommate is a bit fun to be around—how interesting. After settling into the dorm room, you put away all your belongings, grab a light novel, and open it to read. Lemon is probably off doing something at the moment. After some reading of your light novel, you treasure it and start pulling out your notebook, opening it to study. Well, you can't afford to get expelled here, so it's better to study a bit.

Lemon had already arrived; she observed as you were quietly finishing your notes and, instead, starting to pack your things.

On the following day, it was a lesson on how to fly on a broomstick. Luckily, you brought yours, and you stood next to a boy with hair split in two halves."Today, you will learn how to fly on a broomstick," the teacher begins to explain the lesson. "Channel magical energy into the broom and command it with the word 'Fly.' Mount it and adjust the magic to keep it afloat. BEGIN!" The teacher concludes, and soon everyone is attempting to make their broomsticks ascend. Once again, it's a breeze, as if you haven't done it at home, and with a simple whisper, "Fly," your broom on the ground went straight into your hands.

You held your broomstick, ready to await the next command from the teacher. "Let's just get this over with," you think as you notice that half of the students are still struggling to make their broomsticks rise into their hands. However, the class is interrupted when you hear someone starting to argue.

"Well, well, I have entertainment today!" You smile as you see a boy starting to argue with another.

"That was cheating, you jerk! Don't pretend to be innocent! It lifted before you gave the command!" They began to argue, well, only the boy did; it seems the other one wasn't getting it."Now, let's see how fast you can go," the teacher says as you now look at her while holding the broomstick in one hand."I like that. How about we make a bet?" you turn to face the altercation, smiling satisfactorily as you gaze at the two."Whoever loses will obey the other while we're still in the academy, do you agree?" the boy says."Okay."

You smile, your fingers resting on your face along with your well-manicured and delicate nails. "I want to see the loser suffer, my live entertainment," you think, smiling mischievously. The teacher gets ready, and the two boys also prepare themselves."On your marks, get set—" before she can finish, the mushroom boy is already on the other side. You're a bit shocked, gripping the handle of the broomstick.

"OH MY GOODNESS!! HE BROKE THE WORLD RECORD! HE BROKE THE WORLD RECORD! HE BROKE THE WORLD RECORD!!!" the teacher screams while looking in shock at the boy, which you were also stunned. I mean, you expected some loser and then more fighting, and entertainment, but now you're genuinely impressed by the boy.

"Did you see that?" "What just happened?!" The students were talking, and you were still processing what happened, what you saw. You witnessed the boy throw the broomstick and then mount it in mid-air. That was truly impressive.

Chapter 7: EP.06

Chapter Text

"Damn it! You cheated again!" That light-brown-haired boy shouted again, heading towards the boy with mushroom-like hair. "Can't face the facts, huh? I kinda feel sorry for you."

"Shut up!""It's okay, I'll forget about the bet.""Are you kidding me, you son of a—" the boy's mouth is sewn shut, and you notice someone approaching."He sewed that guy's mouth shut! Looks like this drama isn't ending anytime soon. Well, I'm glad I came," you feel pleased to see the conflict continuing, as you enjoy watching people fight among themselves.
"Calm down, calm down, no need for all this drama!" The blond boy spoke as he approached the two."This guy here is my friend."
"Hah, whatever then," the mushroom-haired boy says. You look at the boy with the sewn mouth; he seems nervous, and soon the whispers follow."Wow, Cavill is talking to him!" They seemed to be afraid."Look at that..., we have a wolf in sheep's clothing."You think as you continue to listen to the murmurs. Your smile has already faded, and now you're looking at the three of them.
"Hey, you caught my attention. How about we become friends? I'm Lloyd Cavill.""Reboloid cavuar?"A silence hangs in the air, and everyone can feel the tension. You're busy using your hands with well-manicured nails to cover the smile that's about to break out. Not just that, but a laugh that's on the verge of escaping.
"Excuse me, you two! The class isn't over!" The teacher calls, causing Lloyd to step away along with the boy with the sewn mouth. You could see that the sewn-mouth boy was keeping up a facade. Under your hands, you smirked maliciously."Oh, it will be so satisfying to see him lose his act," with the smirk faded, you lower your hand, putting on a neutral but slightly alarmed face, just to play along.
(Explaining your personality quickly: You're almost a sadist, but you enjoy it when people you consider bad get what they deserve. You basically laugh when bad people face consequences. You also love drama and fights; you're a top-notch gossip, but you hide it with your facade. Basically, only the closest ones can see it. Furthermore, you'd like to make (nome) a somewhat unidentifiable person, so many times the personality will be a bit strange.)

Chapter 8: EP.07

Chapter Text

"So, this guy Lloyd," you bring up the subject, next to Finn and Mash, having met them when the class ended."Lloyd? He did his middle school here, just like me," Finn responds, as you nod along.
"But why is everyone afraid of him?" Mash asks, making you recall the frightened glances and fearful conversations the students were having."Well, Lloyd is the son of a high-ranking official in the Magic Bureau. Are you guys aware that the Magic Bureau is an absolute authority in this world?" I just nod, but I turn to look at Mash, who stammers a hesitant, "Y-yes," making Finn sigh.
"If you go against him, you'll be expelled. It seems the vice-director is connected to his family. If he doesn't like you, they'll force you to leave this school. I've seen it happen since middle school.""So, we've got a guy who thinks he's above everyone, huh?" you think, imagining how many teenagers have been expelled and lost their chance, all because of a fake blond. This makes you a bit irritated."And in some cases, the torment doesn't stop even when they leave the school. That's why everyone obeys him... everyone is afraid of him."

You put a hand on the boy's shoulder and smile at him, trying to comfort him, which seems to help a bit. After going your separate ways to your dormitories, you find yourself bidding farewell to Finn, who was heading to rest.

"I think I'll make some cream puffs," you look at Mash, who seems puzzled."A cream what?" Mash stares at you, perhaps also confused."I can show you if you want. I'm thinking of doing a bit of cooking," you simply agree as you follow the boy, heading towards the kitchen. You observe him making some."I feel like I'm forgetting something," Mash says before shrugging and returning to cooking. "It can't be that important."

Chapter 9: EP.08

Chapter Text

You leave the dormitory, bidding farewell to Lemon as she heads to her class and you to yours. You approach Finn, "Oh, good morning, Finn." He seems nervous but turns and gives a smile."Good morning, (name)."

"Good, it's potions class now," you hear Mash say in front of you, and you look at him as he rummages through his backpack.

"Oh no, my book is in tatters," you see Mash holding his torn book. You open your backpack and take out your book, approaching Mash."Good morning, Mash."

"Good morning, (name)," he looks confused as you offer your book, with a closed-eye smile.

"You can use mine; I don't mind," you say with a closed-eye smile.

"But then you won't be able to study."

"It's okay; I can use Finn's book along with him," you turn to look at Finn, who just bites his lips."Oh, hello again. I was waiting for you yesterday, but you didn't show up. Why?" You hear someone and look to the side, observing the blond, Lloyd, approaching. He talks to Mash but then turns to look at you. You just raise an eyebrow before smiling mischievously."Oh, my bad. I was making cream puffs," Mash seems to break the silence, and you turn to look at him. You step aside and sit next to Finn, who was quite nervous. You look at him with concern and put your hand on his shoulder."Are you okay? If you're not feeling well, I can accompany you to the infirmary."
He just looks a bit surprised but then averts his gaze. "It's okay, no need to worry."Putting your hands on the table, you rest your head in your hands, hiding your lips and only showing your eyes. Eyes that were staring intently at Finn and then at Lloyd."Uh oh, looks like I might have to cut some roots," you think while smiling with your hidden lips, feeling Lloyd's gaze on you. You just smile with your kind facade, which makes the boy smile too."Filthy worm," you think while still smiling gently at everyone."So, to start, I want you to square this for us," Lloyd says, turning to Mash.

"Ok"

Chapter 10: EP.09

Chapter Text

We're in another class, and you once again sit with Finn, now looking neutral to everyone. As you sit down, you watch Mash pull out another torn book. You open your backpack, taking out the same torn book that Mash has."Finn, can you share your book with me?" Mash asks, approaching. You just raise your book for Mash."It's okay, Mash. You can use mine again; I don't mind."
"Thank you so much, both of you," you look at Mash, a bit confused, as he raises a bag with some profiteroles."Thanks for the broomstick yesterday, Finn. These profiteroles are for you, and this one is for (name). Thanks for lending me your book again."You just smile as you accept the package with pleasure."Man, I'm relieved to have you two as friends," Mash says. You look at Finn, who just lowers his head."I think I'll follow Finn. I want to see what that jerk is doing with Finn."
You're a bit shocked as you look ahead, seeing Finn kneeling on the ground, while threads are holding him, his head repeatedly hitting the floor. The culprit is clearly the obnoxious blond, Lloyd, who just smiles. Finn notices Mash and you, appearing beaten down, evoking a bit of sympathy from you."Oh, HEY, Mash," Lloyd says, turning to look at the boy.
"What are you doing?" Mash asks, glaring at Lloyd. "Finn was apologizing to me; he was getting too full of himself."You clench your fists, approaching Finn with Mash. You look at the worried boy.
"Are you okay, Finn?" you ask, and the boy just nods."But what about the blood?" Mash asks. You look at Finn's face as he lifts it to face Mash."I-it doesn't matter now, Mash. It was me!" Tears fall from the injured boy's face. "I destroyed your books. I was too scared not to obey him, but then you called me a friend, and I deceived you. I have to apologize to you. I'm sorry, Mash, truly sorry."

You look at Finn's figure, surprising him as you embrace him, putting his head on your chest, while gently stroking his head. "Don't worry, Finn, we forgive you." Finn seems on the verge of crying again and clings to you.

"I wish you were as sincere when apologizing," Lloyd says, observing the scene. "By the way, I'm heading to lunch with the vice-director. You can bring (name) along; I wouldn't mind if you brought her with you."
You lower your head, stopping the comforting gesture for Finn, while listening to the jerk continue to speak. "You'll never get another chance like this again, especially if you keep hanging out with a loser like him." Lloyd's words come to an end when you see Mash approaching Lloyd and slamming his head into the ground, creating a loud noise and a crack."You're the one who needs to apologize here."

Chapter 11: EP.10

Chapter Text

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" Lloyd's two friends scream in terror, trembling in their places."This way, you'll end up getting expelled!" Finn says, looking at Mash. You step away from Finn, smiling at him while patting his head before standing up."In that case, Mash, let me handle this. I'll enjoy disciplining this guy." You smirk sadistically as the wand hidden in your sleeve falls into your hands.
Using your wand, dark tendrils pull Lloyd up. Lloyd looks at you in fear. You grab the boy's face in your fingers, squeezing his cheeks."Because... rotten boys like him deserve to see hell, don't they, Lloyd Cavill?" You ask, smiling as you bring your face close to his, squeezing his face tighter. The boy just stares at you, a hint of blush visible. However, you soon release him, putting your foot on the boy's head as he's now on the ground."My god, is she crazy or something?" Finn wonders mentally as he watches the situation.
"Maybe I did something bad," Mash says as he looks at Lloyd on the ground. As you remove your foot from the boy's head, you observe Mash."Yeah, you did," someone appears on the scene, making you roll your eyes mentally."Here comes the annoying adults," you think as you look at the vice-director approaching.
"VICE DIRECTOR FARMAM!" Lloyd's two friends shout together as they watch the elder."What are you doing here?"
"The boy's father asked me to take care of him personally, and it so happens that I saw the whole scene," you once again roll your eyes mentally, thinking about how annoying this old man was. He was just another jerk from society like the blond."Since you witnessed the whole thing—" the vice-director interrupts Mash, speaking in front of the boy."This was a violent attack on a student."
"Mash, Finn, and (name), we will be conducting a school conference regarding your roles in this." You find yourself next to Finn, patting the boy's head, perhaps on instinct, you're not sure. You're very focused on looking at the vice-director, maybe a red flag being seen. Not only that, but the professor's eyes are on the three of you as if you were some kind of vermin."What a disgust this jerk is. I want to bury him," you think.

"If you stop to notice, you and Lloyd are of different statuses in this school. Different status means different positions and different treatment. If you two are ignorant about this, then I'll have to teach you idiots how this world—" the vice-director's speech is interrupted when Mash delivers a knee to the man's face. You can hear the sound of the nose breaking, and it makes you happy and satisfied that this jerk deserves it.

"Oh no, the vice-director too!" Finn thinks, scared and shocked, as he looks at Mash, frightened, and feels your hand on the boy's hair.

Chapter 12: EP.11

Chapter Text

"He didn't seem to be open to dialogue, it ended up like this," Mash says as he turns to look at the others, turning his back to the vice-director."But really, what's one more body?"Mash finishes with his typical lack of expression.
"Only killers think like that," Finn thinks, looking shocked at the boy, as if he had killed someone."Dare to attack me too? I don't understand?" the vice-director says, putting his hand on his face before grabbing his wand, pointing it aggressively and angrily at Mash."I CAN MAKE YOU DISAPPEAR WITH A SIMPLE WAND MOVEMENT! LEVIOS-"
Mash then grabs a handful of mud and dirt with his hand, smearing it on the vice-director's face, causing him to interrupt his own speech and drop his wand."ARGH! WHAT IS THIS? DIRT?" Mash then starts digging a hole in the ground, and before the director can even continue or think of speaking, the vice-director is lifted and thrown into the hole Mash made.
You look surprised by Mash's actions, although you can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction seeing the vice-director's startled expression."I hope a bunch of jerk vice-directors doesn't sprout from there, or whoever the hell he is."Mash then starts throwing dirt on the vice-director, burying him while the man screams in fright."What an entertaining scene," you think.
"ARGH! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!! AAAH!!" the vice-director screams as dirt is thrown around him, his body being gradually buried by Mash, who is quickly covering the man with soil."Burying you," Mash says with his usual neutral expression, staring at the vice-director."DO YOU THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS?!?!!"
"He's right, Mash," you say, lowering your head. Mash stops and looks at you, as does the vice-director, who is praying to get out of this if you can make Mash stop."You won't get away by throwing dirt bit by bit," the vice-director says, looking shocked now, while you raise your head with a sinister and malicious smile."So let me help you bury this pest."
"Ah, okay!" Mash says, stepping aside."WAIT, WHAT?!" the vice-director screams before you start walking, distancing yourself from Finn and grabbing your wand, pointing it at the vice-director."Hehehe." The dirt that Mash would throw on the vice-director is now levitating, floating above the man."AAAHH!! YOU CRAZY-" the man's voice is cut off when you pour the dirt, covering his mouth. The man can see your gaze, and it seemed like you were delighted to see his despair— at least that's what he thought.

Chapter 13: EP.12

Chapter Text

"I imagine you both know why you're here," you and Mash exchange glances after being called to the director's office, revisiting the same place where the exam interview took place."Was it because we made profiteroles in the dormitory kitchen without permission?" Mash says, looking at you and then at the director."I didn't know we couldn't use the kitchen," you reply, looking at Mash, who just nods in agreement.
"Wrong," the director speaks now, making both of you look at him, sitting up there."It's because you both attacked Cavill and even buried the vice-director. This matter was seen as a problem by the Magic Ministry," the director then takes a sheet from his desk, lifting it up for you to see."I received this notification from the department requesting your immediate expulsion."
"I guess this is a record, I suppose," you think as you continue listening to what the director is saying."The Magic Ministry is the highest legal authority in this country; it's no exaggeration to say they control the nation at its core..."
"At the core of their organization are the divine visionaries, and this school provides the department with individuals qualified to become divine visionaries," you complete the director's speech in your head, already rolling your eyes mentally at the term 'divine visionary.' That's one thing you don't want to be, not like your siblings or your family used to be. After rolling your eyes mentally, you continue listening to the director."In a way, it is our role to create the next generation of government officials, and as you may already be aware, Cavill is the son of a high-ranking member of the Magic Ministry. In other words, you've committed an unforgivable act."
"However..." you and Mash look shocked as the director takes the paper and burns it in front of you. You can see the paper vanish without a trace in the director's hand."What's even more unforgivable is a world where 'wanting good' is seen as a disadvantage. I've been concerned about the current state of affairs in this world, so I took this position many years ago."

"Wow, this old man," you think as you look at the director, reflecting on yourself about how old this man is. "In a world where power and authority are concentrated in one place, we have shockingly few people like you who dare to act."

"The divine visionaries who lead the department have a duty, and that duty is to carefully consider what people desire. That's why...I sincerely hope that someday someone like you two will become a divine visionary.""No need to say that, it's what I intend to do," you look at Mash, who had just said that.

Chapter 14: EP.13

Chapter Text

"Get high grades in your classes and school activities and earn as many coins as you can, I'll deal with the vice director and the department of magic, do you two understand? I'm counting on you two!" the director explained what Mash needed to become a divine visionary, in a more simplified way.

"Don't worry, director," you said as you closed your eyes. "In the end, only one will become a divine visionary." You winked at Mash, of course, you said this only to make the director think that you also wanted to become a divine visionary, which you didn't want at all.

"We're going," Mash said, walking alongside you as you left the room. Tomorrow would be the day of the dormitory departure. You nudged Mash."Let's see how Finn is doing," you asked, pointing down the hallway, to which Mash nodded."Yeah," and so both of you walked down the corridor.

The silence was rather normal until Mash turned to ask you, "Do you also want to become a visionary divine?"

"Hmm?" you turn your head, looking at the boy who was intensely staring but seemed confused about the situation, perhaps because the director had mentioned he was counting on both of you to become visionary divines, not just one. "Ah no, I don't want to become one, it's not my thing. You can go ahead, I won't be in your way to become a visionary divine," you say, patting the boy's shoulder.

"I thought you wanted to, the director seemed to emphasize both of us," you just look ahead as you continue walking alongside him. "Hmm, but I don't want to become one, so don't worry about it. In fact, I can even help you," you say.

After a few walks, you both finally stand in front of the infirmary. You knock on the door before opening it. "Hi, Finn!" You say cheerfully as you wave and approach the boy with a bandage on his forehead. The nurse seemed to be removing it. "Oh, hi (name), and hi, Mash."

"How are you feeling?" Mash asks as he watches the nurse remove the bandage."I'm okay, it wasn't too serious, I mean, it could've been worse," Finn replies. You sit on the bed next to him while Mash stands nearby. The nurse removes the bandage and places it on a tray."Well, Finn, you may experience some mild headaches, so I recommend taking these medications to help you," the nurse says as she hands the boy some pills before leaving the room, leaving the three of you alone.
"So, how was it with the director?" Finn seemed worried, alternating between looking at you and at Mash."Ah, it was pretty smooth," you say, shrugging, to which the boy could only break into a cold sweat as he looked at Mash nodding in agreement.

Chapter 15: EP.14

Chapter Text

You were sitting next to Finn in the bleachers, sighing as you watched the game. "THIS IS THE FIRST MATCH OF THE SEASON! WE HAVE ADLER DORM VS LANG DORM!" That's exactly what's happening and what the announcer said. You were now watching a match of some game, the cheering was so loud that you had to bring your earplugs. "THE GAME IS ALREADY HEATING UP, FOLKS!" You wondered why there was a need to watch something you have absolutely no interest in.

You look down, sighing again when you see your friend Mash on the ground, holding the broom. Of course, he can't fly; he warned everyone yesterday. Still, that bamboo boy kept pestering him. You're only here because of Mash playing and Finn asking you to come.

"When making cream puffs, using warm dough is the key to a bite of happiness. It was kind of strange to see that the topic they were discussing previously had to do with the board of directors on how to make cream puffs; you weren't denying how enjoyable the conversation was becoming."

"Uh, wow..." Finn says, impressed by the mushroom-haired boy. You were smiling as you followed the boys. You had just seen Finn after the meeting in the nurse's office, and now you were walking down the hallway, until your peace was violated.

"YOU MUSHROOM HEAD!" You sigh as you see the conversation taking a boring turn. "WOULD YOU LIKE TO REPRESENT ADLER HOUSE IN A DUELING MATCH?" Dueling match? You become confused as the boy starts talking, now recognizing the irritating being who is shouting. "YOU CAN'T SPELL 'LIFE' WITHOUT 'FIRE,' SO LET'S BURN EVERYTHING WE DESERVE!" It was Knowles's tone as the girls behind the three of you scream, almost bursting your eardrums.

"Kyaaa! OMG! IT'S TOM! He was the most important player in last year's duel!!" You can scowl in anger at these girls screaming. "Offensive athletes are usually the worst, but somehow he makes it work!"

"No, he doesn't," you think as you roll your eyes at the boy ahead and the girls. This Tom kid, whom you look up and down, wasn't even someone cool, just an annoyance. "I'm judging too much by appearances... although I've never been wrong," you shrug off your thoughts.

"Then what is this 'duel'?" You mentally thank Mash for asking the question you were going to ask. "WE COMPETE USING OUR BROOMS! IT'S THE MOST POPULAR SPORT IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM!"

"I've never even heard of this sport," you think as you look bored at the boy before being startled by Finn's happiness beside you. "A first-year student in the duel? That's amazing!" You hold your hand to your chest; as if the boy's shouting wasn't enough, he doesn't even need to shout to speak, and then there's Finn, who startles you with his sudden joy. "But I can't fly on brooms..."

"This conversation isn't going to end anytime soon," you sigh, already thinking about leaving.

Chapter 16: EP.15

Chapter Text

"IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE HERE, GO HOME!"
"STOP MESSING AROUND AND LEAVE ALREADY!" the audience screams, throwing garbage at the boy on the field.

You turn to look at Mash, who was with Tom in front, waving his arms, which makes you laugh a bit at his foolishness. Finn seems to notice that you're laughing and looks at you, calling your name several times, but it seems like you're not hearing him. Then you feel someone touch your shoulder, looking to the side you see Finn. You reach for your hair, taking out the earplugs, holding them in your hands and looking at the boy.

"Yes?"

"Forget it..." Finn says, looking at your hands holding the earplugs before turning his head to Mash, just as you do. "I hope everything's okay with Mash," Finn says, looking visibly nervous as he watches the boy.

"You got this, babe," you turn your head to Lemon in an instant. "How's that?" Then Tom starts flying on his broom, but he's knocked down with a strong shove from an opponent player. Everyone seems surprised by the fall, especially because Lang House was winning the match.
"ANOTHER 10 POINTS FOR LANG HOUSE AND THE GAP KEEPS GROWING!!" the game announcer shouted as you watched the match."WITH TWO PLAYERS DOWN, THIS GAME IS OURS!!" yelled the opposing team's player, but before anything could happen...

"Mash jumps off the ground, flying into the sky!"

"HE FLEW!!" the crowd shouted.

"Did he really do that?" You ask, leaning towards Finn as you both watched Mash in shock."Y-yes," Finn responds, also surprised and a bit nervous as he watched the match and Mash in the air.
"H-hey!" the shocked crowd looked at Mash. "LOOK, HE'S STANDING IN THE AIR! SO, DOES HE FLY OR NOT?!" Some people asked as they observed the boy.The game then continues as Mash asks for the ball from someone on his team.
"HE CAUGHT THE BALL! WHAT'S HE GOING TO DO WITH IT?" the announcer shouted as everyone watched Mash."From that distance? No chance!" yelled someone from the crowd as they watched Mash raise the ball.
But everyone was surprised when the ball hit the hoop, the force behind it was remarkable."THEY'RE STILL 40 POINTS BEHIND AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT!""WAIT, LOOK AT THAT!!"After Mash throws the ball and the ball makes a perfect curve, returning to Mash's hand, which he throws again, repeating the process.

"He really..." You look at Finn, who was also agreeing and a bit surprised. Lemon was obviously swooning over Mash next to you, but you didn't pay attention to that. You were more impressed with the points Mash scored.

"THE WINNER IS ADLER HOUSE!!! FOR SETTING A RECORD SCORE, THE WINNING TEAM WILL RECEIVE A SILVER COIN!!"

Chapter 17: EP.16

Chapter Text

"It doesn't look like a coin," Mash says, looking at the piece of metal in his hand."Wow, that game was amazing! And you even got your first silver coin," Finn says, and you comment, even though you've lost interest in the game, simply nodding in agreement."Thank you, Finn. I'll never do that again."
"HEY, MASH!" You look back, already scowling when you realize he's coming towards the trio, Tom again."That annoying bamboo kid again, ugh." You move closer to Finn, keeping a bit of distance from Mash and Tom, who's approaching Mash."Kyaaaaa~ it's Tom!!" some girls comment as they observe the boy."Tom!!"
Things get a bit awkward as you and Finn watch Tom suddenly hug Mash and scream as usual."THANK YOU SO MUCH!! YOU'VE BECOME A GREAT BAMBOO!!"

"I'm going to take that bamboo and shove it up his ass if he doesn't stop screaming. My ears have had enough!" You think angrily as you glare furiously at Tom, holding your hair to cover your ears from the boy's screams.

"Are you okay, [name]?" Finn asks as he watches you bite back the urge to curse right then and there."I'm just fine, Finn," you say through gritted teeth.

"I'm not good with his type at all," Mash says as Tom continues to talk about his joy at seeing Mash become a "bamboo."

"Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!! Shut up!! I'm going to shove that bamboo up his ass and twist it until he loses his vocal cords over his stupid idiotic bamboo!!"

"She really isn't okay," Finn thinks as he watches you glaring daggers at Tom and notices how you're holding your ears.

After the incident, Finn takes you to your dorm room, listening to you mutter curses at Tom after you've lost your patience."Now I really notice how obsessive and problematic my roommate is," you sigh as you observe Lemon's side of the room filled with plushies and photos of Mash."Delulu Stalker, ugh."
Elsewhere in the school, a boy with blue hair looked at his newspaper, observing the latest news."IN HIS INTERVIEW, KEY PLAYER, FIRST-YEAR STUDENT, MASH, GIVES CREDIT FOR THEIR VICTORY TO THE EXUBERANT ENCOURAGEMENT OF THEIR CAPTAIN."
"Those from the entrance exams," the boy muttered to himself as he looked at the newspaper. Suddenly, Mash's face in the paper was torn off by the user's magic."They're risking failure for a complete stranger," the boy let the newspaper float as the torn pieces fell onto it. He then held his medallion, observing the photo inside."How naive... they'll be next..."

Chapter 18: EP.17

Chapter Text

The next day, you found yourself standing next to Finn, looking sideways, not recognizing the two idiots yelling and drawing attention to Mash.
"MASH! IT'S TIME TO PRACTICE!! DREAM BIG!! LAND AMONG THE STARS!! HUFF HUFF!! LET'S GO! WE HAVE TO BECOME BAMBOOS!!" yelled Tom, whom you were mentally cursing."Mash, I heard you don't like studying, so I thought it would be nice if we reviewed everything together~" Lemon commented while holding a stack of books and swaying timidly, blushing as she looked at Mash.
"You're not leaving," Finn thought as he held onto your cloak tightly, preventing you from leaving the room."God, give me patience," you prayed through gritted teeth.
"DIDN'T WE PROMISE WE'D BE NUMBER 1?!" Tom shouted while Mash retorted, "I didn't."

"Here are potions, tales of magic, enchantments, divinations..." Lemon continued to list off items while Mash expressed, "So much stuff," to Lemon, as Tom kept talking.

"REMEMBER, THIS ISN'T A GAME!! WE ARE BAMBOOS! BAMBUUS! BAMBUS!!" Tom continued his passionate speech, while Lemon added, "There are also magical creatures and dark arts, you should at least try to study."It seems that Mash is overwhelmed by their friends. Mash turns his head to look at Finn and you, murmuring,
"Can you help me here, Finn? (Name)?"

Mash watches as Finn pretends to sleep, but it's noticeable that he's lowering one of his hands that was holding his wand aggressively, not to mention his face is turned away."Traitors " Mash mutters under his breath.

"Not today!" Finn thinks as he once again lowers his hand holding his wand aggressively, almost breaking it with anger, and pretends to sleep at the same time.

When you were about to attack the boy, Finn restrained himself and prepared, pulling you in while still pretending to sleep, resting your head on his shoulder as he tried to calm things down."She's going to try to kill someone!!" Finn thinks as he opens one eye, watching you gritting your teeth and giving a murderous look."Please help me, God!!" Finn thinks as he closes his eyes again.

"You guys seem to be having fun," the group now turns their attention to the boy who just arrived. Finn still holds your arms as he looks at the new boy, while you, Lemon, Tom, and Mash also gaze at the blue-haired boy.

"Do you mind if I join you?" he asks.

Chapter 19: EP.18

Chapter Text

"Oh, it's Lance," you think as you look at the boy, along with the others."Wait, he has two marks? But... I've never seen him before? Is he maybe a first-year?" Tom sweats nervously as he looks at Lance.

"This is Lance Crown, he ranked first in the entrance exam... looking closely, he's quite a cutie- NO! Lemon, you've already given away your heart! Your heart belongs to someone else," Lemon thought, daydreaming about Mash, almost dropping the stack of books.

"You're out of luck, there's no fun here," Mash says as he turns to look at Lance, who maintains the same expression."I see, then let's do something fun," Lance says as he watches Mash stand up from his chair."Something fun? Like hide and seek?"

"Definitely not hide and seek!" Finn thought as he looked at Lance and Mash. You leaned against the chair, observing the situation and watching Mash as he stared at Lance.

"I barely step away from her, and already there are people trying to get close," Lance thought as he observed Mash's friends, looking at your figure with Mash, and Finn's arm draped over your shoulders. It seemed like Lance had completely misunderstood the situation.

Pulling a bottle out of his school coat, Lance displays it in his hands. "This bottle here is a magical item and also very old."He then opens the bottle's cork, and soon, Finn, Lemon, and Tom are sucked inside the bottle, causing you to rise from your seat.
"As you can see, it's capable of capturing people."
"Hey! What's your problem, Lance?!" You shout as you glare at the boy, who simply turns his head to look at you. "Don't get involved in this, (Name)."
"Don't come at me with that talk, Lance! Let Finn and Lemon go!! The rest can stay with you!"
"Hey?!" Tom shouts from inside the bottle, banging on it. "Let them go, Lance!" You shout again, pulling your wand from your sleeve and pointing it at Lance. The boy just sighs and tucks the bottle into his coat, then draws his wand and aims it at you. Suddenly, your wand is forcefully thrown to the ground by Lance's magic. You look shocked at your wand, held in place by Lance's magic, but as you divert your attention, you're suddenly pulled towards him, feeling your body being restrained as you're drawn to Lance."Why are you acting like this? This isn't like you," Lance says as the hand holding his wand grips your chin.
Mash, already looking shocked, takes a step forward, ready to go after the boy, but he's surprised when you also end up being sucked into another bottle."Oh, come on!" You shout, banging on the bottle. Lance stores the bottle away, then looks at Mash.
"If you want them back, come to the forest at the owl's cabin," he says, using his wand to vanish with a spell.

Chapter 20: EP.19

Chapter Text

Already in the forest, Mash stood in front of the boy who had his friends, Lance Crown, the one who bottled his friends and now forces Mash to fight against him.
"What is this about?" Mash asks as he looks at Lance."I call it a wager," Lance then reaches into his school coat pocket, pulling out two silver coins and placing them in front of Mash."You're after them too, aren't you? These silver coins?"
"WHAT? SILVER COINS? AND HE HAS TWO! BUT HE'S A FIRST-YEAR! I THOUGHT ONLY A SELECT FEW STUDENTS FROM THE FINAL YEAR HAD ONE!" Tom yells as he observes the situation from inside the bottle."The lines of his mark reveal the amount of magical power he currently possesses... what does this mean... this guy is dangerous," Tom thinks as he watches the fight.
"Let's wager our silver coins on a fight," Lance says as he shows the bottle containing his friends inside, giving it a slight shake."We'll keep going until one of us surrenders or can't continue anymore. Any other duels involving magic are a 'taboo' in this school."
The bottle was shaking, taunting Mash, as he watched his friends inside the bottle fall to the bottom."Not that you have a choice but to accept, as long as I hold this," Lance says, then stops shaking the bottle.
"Judging by your personality, the fact that I possess this gives me an advantage," Mash remains silent as he stares at Lance, who now seems more confident about the situation."But I don't need any advantage, it's pretty easy to tell who's going to win. During the entrance exams, you were too soft. You prioritized someone you had just met over your own goals."

"I would never lose to someone who's already lost," despite the confidence in his voice and his serious expression, Lance was mocking Mash, already securing his victory, as he thought.

Chapter 21: EP.20

Chapter Text

"DON'T DO IT, MASH!! HE'S DANGEROUS!" Tom yelled as he watched the fight."That's right! I have a bad feeling about this," Lemon added, also watching the fight, while Finn stood behind, feeling nervous and scared about the situation."OH MY GOD! MY LIFE IS OVER! IT'S ALL OVER!"
"Hmm? What's wrong? Scared to answer?" Lance asked as he looked at Mash's silence. Mash then begins to speak in a serious tone."No. I'm just waiting for you to start..."
"Great, at least you have sportsmanship," Lance says as he rummages for something inside his uniform, retrieving his wand."But before we begin, let's make things easier. GRAVIOLE!" Suddenly, around Mash and Lance, a regular stage of earth begins to appear and rise from the ground.

"This flashy display makes no difference!" Mash says as he quickly approaches Lance, ready to punch him in the face. "Do you really want to defeat me without magic?"

"GRAVIOLE!" Before Mash's fist could reach Lance, a wave of magic pushed him to the ground, causing the earth around Mash to crack and fissures to appear."MASH, NO!" Mash's friends inside the bottle shout as they watch him on the ground.
"Are you taking this seriously? Do you really think you can get through this easily?" Lance says, still using his gravity magic to force Mash to stay on the ground."Do you even have any ambition? Of course, you don't. It's a waste for you to possess a silver coin." Lance's magic sinks Mash further into the earth."I don't need anyone invading my territory. I WILL BE THE LAST ONE STANDING! While trash like you waste your lives rolling around on the ground."
Mash then tries to gather strength to stand up from the gravity magic."There's no use trying to get up, no human can withstand this gravity," Lance is surprised when Mash thrusts his fist into the earth."I can manage without needing to stand up," and before he could realize it, Mash pulls something from the earth, a massive root."A root? He managed to pull that from the ground... this is ridiculous!" The root then extends towards where Lance is, surprising him, causing Lance to jump away, deactivating his magic.

"Looks like you'd also like to stay... crawling!" Mash says seriously as he looks at Lance kneeling on the ground.

Chapter 22: EP.21

Chapter Text

"Single-line magic users," is a term used to name those who have only one mark on their face. Most people in this world are single-line magic users.

However, there are rare exceptions where someone has more than one mark. The number of marks increases according to the magical capacity of the user. Double-line magic users, make up only 1 in every 100,000 magic users with this characteristic. They are considered chosen by magic itself.

Mash then prepares himself and starts running after Lance. Lance, already focused, prepares his wand, aiming it at Mash. "GRAVIOLE!" The spell is cast, but Mash uses his foot to push his body forward. A punch is thrown, but Lance manages to dodge his face just in time. "He's faster than before!" Lance thinks as he dodges another punch. However, in doing so, his locket falls to the ground. Lance then jumps backward, leaving Mash and the locket behind.

When Mash sees the locket, he bends down to pick it up. "Hmm? What's this?" Mash then opens the locket and is shocked to see a photo of two young girls on each side of the locket. One of them even seems to be a memory from an old photo, as the pose suggests she's hugging someone."A-a-a L-lo lolicon! he's a lolicon! I-I have to call the police, he's a criminal!" Mash stammers in shock.
"Of course not," Lance replies as he watches Mash."Then are you trying to be one?"
"It's not what you're thinking. This girl, she's my sister, I'm a siscon." Lance says seriously as Mash tilts his head to the side in confusion."But there's another little girl."
"She's my future fiancée," Lance doesn't seem shaken to say this, even proud. "That just makes it worse.""Give it back!" With that, Mash tosses the locket to Lance, who opens it and sees the photo of himself as a child and his sister, before closing it and putting it back in his school uniform's coat."So tell me something, what do you think is the most precious thing in the world?"
"Hm? you're putting me on the spot here" Mash starts to think, looking down before raising his head and looking up."cream-" "No!" Mash is interrupted by Lance.

"Human life-"
"No!"

"Love!"
"Wrong!"

"Freedom."
"That's wrong!"

"cream-"
"WRONG!"

"NO! NO! NO! NO! IT'S NONE OF THAT! WHY CAN'T YOU GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME?! 1+1=2 OR BLUE AND YELLOW MAKE GREEN, THE ANSWER IS SO OBVIOUS!" Lance says, putting his hand on his face in frustration, while Mash looks at the situation."So, what is the most precious thing in the world?"

"MY FIANCEE AND LITTLE SISTER," Lance says as he rubs his eye in a frustrated and even somewhat intimidating manner."...." Mash remains silent for a while."Everyone has their priorities, right?"

Lance then lowers his hand, sighing as he looks at Mash."You disgust me, this world really is full of idiots."

"creepy," Lance then turns around, walking to the edge of that earth, a cliff. He then holds the bottle, as if he wanted to drop it."I'm going to drop the weakling off the cliff, then I'll accelerate its fall with my magic. You'll try to catch the weakling before it hits the ground to save them, and that's when I'll attack you. Don't take it personally."

"I'm capable of the worst things if it's for them.."

Chapter 23: EP.22

Chapter Text

"Big brother! Did you get into a fight again?!" Little Anna says as she observes her brother's injuries."I didn't," he replies.

"LIE! I'M GOING TO TELL EVERYTHING TO AISHI!" Anna pushes Lance to sit on the bed, not noticing the girl outside the door, holding her blood-stained gloved hands while dripping and staining her plush bunny, a chic rabbit."Sit down, I'm going to fix you!" Anna says as she holds the wand."So why did you get into a fight?"

"I just tripped," Lance lies, while Anna just sighs irritably."What a lie! You're a terrible liar! I bet you're not even trying," she retorts."I am!" Lance responds as he watches Anna sigh sadly and then relax.

"I heard that you saved a child who was being mistreated, and the bullies tried to get back at you, didn't they?" Her fingers tightened around the plush toy, blood staining the white fabric even more."Wow... but you know, you may be clumsy, but you're also very kind. That's why I love you, and I'm sure Aishi-" the door then opens, and you poke your head inside.

"(Name)?" Lance asks, shocked. He watches as you enter, hands behind your back."So, you've been fighting?" You tilt your head, Lance can only look down in embarrassment, while Anna turns to look at you. "I already scolded him!" You simply rub Anna's head, and Lance can see that now you're not wearing gloves as you usually do."Now, how about we heal this idiot?" You turn to Anna, one hand holding your wand and the other running through his hair.
"Can I help?" You smile at the little girl.

"Of course! Two will make it easier," you say, turning to look at Lance while smiling, wiping the dirt off the boy's cheek, which is now slightly pink.

"Anna!, Anna!" Lance shouts as he rushes up the stairs, opening the door with force and looking at the girl lying on the bed. Next to the girl is a stuffed rabbit wearing an eye patch, the same one that belonged to you. Perhaps Lance didn't arrive in time to see you, but the plush toy already tells that you've been here to see Anna."Anna..." Lance murmurs as he approaches the girl on the bed, while her parents look on.

"The illness will take away her magic and her mark, it's incurable. The doctors said she has at most 5 years," Lance's father said as he looked at the girl in the bed.

"If she loses her magic, we'll have to hand her over to the government," Lance's father says, sighing now."But she'll-" Lance says, looking shocked at the situation."Yes, we have no choice. Why did I give birth to a child like this?" Lance's mother says as his father puts a hand on the boy's shoulder."This is for your future too, Lance."

"How could I accept something so cruel? Anna did nothing wrong!" Lance thinks before pushing his father's hand away from his shoulder. "GET AWAY! YOU'RE NOT OUR PARENTS ANYMORE! I'M GOING TO...! Make sure of it."

"It's the Magic Department, they created this rotten system, (Name) was right! This society is too cruel... I will become a divine visionary and save you, Anna, and I will change this society as (Name) wanted!"

Chapter 24: EP.23

Chapter Text

"GRAVIOLE!" Lance says, releasing the bottle and casting his spell, causing it to fall faster."Hey, mushroom head," Lance turns to look at Mash, surprised to see him now without his uniform, wearing a black outfit with white shorts, in a running stance.

"Hamstring Magic," Mash says, already in position. "Hamstring Magic? What kind of spell is that? I've never heard of it before! And why is he... in that starting position?""Big Bang Dash."

"The position of losing, and the starting position, don't exist for me," Mash says before quickly running, disappearing from view and swiftly appearing behind Lance, holding the bottle."What?! He can't have decided the entire cliff and grabbed the bottle so quickly! I can't believe this! Is he using physical enhancement magic?!" Lance then prepares with his wand, turning to look at Mash."No, I can't falter now... I have to keep my promises!"

"Let's stop, you don't seem like a bad guy, we shouldn't be fighting like this, this bottle is empty, it's fake," Mash says, throwing the bottle away and approaching Lance. He quickly searches inside the boy's coat and finally finds the bottle, then steps back."There, it's over," everyone inside the bottle cheers in joy and celebrates Mash's victory.

"MAS... WHY? WHY WOULD YOU PASS UP THE CHANCE TO WIN MY SILVER COINS?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Lance shouts furiously. "No, I'm not," Lance then shouts again, sweat dripping down his face. "THEN WHY?"

"Hmm... Look, I'm not someone who makes rational decisions. I'm pretty clumsy," Lance says, remembering his sister's words along with Mash's statement."But you know, you may be clumsy, but you're also very kind. That's why I love you, and I'm sure Aishi does too!"

"Heh." Lance lowers his head before walking towards Mash. "Killjoy, I'm out of here, like I said, let's call it quits." Lance then passes by Mash but stops and turns around."But, I made a bet with you." Lance then tosses a silver coin to Mash. "There you go." Mash catches it and looks at the coin before watching the boy walk away."I wonder what would've happened if we had fought for real," Mash says before having his legs grabbed by Finn, who is crying.

"Thank you so much, Mash! I was so scared!!" "I KNEW YOU'D COME THROUGH FOR US!" Tom shouts as he approaches Mash. "Mash, I'll be straight to the point, I want to marry you! What kind of house do you want? I was thinking of that classic one with those doors..." Lemon says, smitten with Mash. "YOU'VE REALLY GRASPED THE ESSENCE OF THE BAMBOO!" Tom says, while Finn just cries at Mash's feet.

Mash watches Lance walk away without even looking back."I feel like I'm forgetting something..." Mash mutters to himself, but thinks about how Lance isn't all bad, just as he also should have opened the jar once the academy was over.

Chapter 25: EP.24

Chapter Text

Lance looked at the photo he had taken, the fact that you were lying asleep on his bed, partly due to Lance's fault, was like a dream come true. Lance walked over to the study desk in his dorm room, he picked up a utility knife and removed the locket, opening it and taking out the childhood photo, leaving only his sister's photo in it. Taking the photo he had taken, he cut it, cropping out your face and placing it in the locket where the other photo had been.

He smiled as he saw that he had "updated" his locket, setting the utility knife aside. Lance picked up the locket in his hand, sighing happily. "Finally, I have a current photo of you after years," Lance thought to himself as he put on the locket and looked at your sleeping form. He approached your body, running his hand through your hair. "After years... I finally find you at the entrance exam, but I can't talk to you, and I let you go again..."

"I still don't understand what you saw in that boy, unfortunately... and I couldn't win,"

"I'll make our dream come true, (name), just wait a little longer," Lance whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead and gently tracing the line of your face. "Even back then, you chose to give up one of your lines just to buy more time for Anna."

"I'm sorry, I failed you all, but I won't make that mistake again," Lance whispered as he looked at you before rising to his feet. "This spell really makes them sleep deeply for quite some time." Lance thought to himself as he looked at the wand in his hand, knowing that after trapping you in a bottle, he had cast a spell to make you sleep so he could use the empty bottle.

"THAT DAMNED BASTARD AND WHORE!" You shout, quickly waking up and sitting up in bed. Lance turns to look at you, his body swaying slowly with drowsiness as his eyes struggle to stay open. "Son of a bitch..." you mutter as you try to see who's in front of you, while Lance hastily closes a drawer.

"Who's there?" You ask sleepily as you try to focus your blurry vision on the figure in front of you. "It's just me," Lance says, approaching the bed and sitting down. "Ah, damn it!" you curse, already feeling irritated. You try to move your foot under the covers to kick Lance, but the blankets prevent the kick from being strong enough to do anything more than nudge him. "Can you cut it out? I just want to talk."

"You talk to my pussy, you asshole," you say, getting up quickly and leaving the bed. But it goes wrong when your blood pressure drops, and you almost fall backward, but Lance gets up and catches you, holding you against his chest. "You should be careful, you just woke up," he says.

"Fuck it! I have to see the others," you say, already trying to get up properly but the blood pressure isn't allowing it. "At least let's talk for a bit," Lance suggests.

"Why didn't you come to visit me after Anna got sick?" Lance's question makes your heart ache."I was busy... with my family," you reply in an irritated tone, as if you wanted to convey your annoyance with your family.

The silence settles in the room, and you feel Lance's arm tighten around your waist from behind."I'm sorry... I should have warned you," "If only I could've..." you think to yourself, looking down, "you probably should hate me for this," you feel Lance embrace you from behind."I don't hate you. Just, don't do it again," Lance says seriously, and you simply nod. You close your eyes, placing your hand over the arm that's wrapped around you."I'm sorry..."

"It's okay," "I finally have you in my arms..." Lance thinks, laying his head on your shoulder and smiling as he hugs you. You look down, listening to Lance's heartbeat behind you, before remembering something important.

"MY WAND!!"
"Your wand?"

Chapter 26: EP.25

Chapter Text

There are 3 dormitories at the Easton School of Magic, and students are assigned to them based on their characteristics...

The rivalry between the 3 dormitories is strong, as students often embrace the principles of their dormitory, leading to a friendly rivalry that is always present. In the Adler dormitory, Mash and Finn reside in room 302. Mash gazes at his silver coin. "So five silver coins make one gold coin," Mash begins counting on his fingers.

"Let's see... five minus two, that leaves only 28," Mash calculates aloud.
"But it's because five minus two equals three," Finn corrects Mash, who simply turns his gaze from the coin to Finn."Is this a trick question?"

"NO, THERE'S NO TRICK TO THE QUESTION!" Finn says, slamming his hands on the table and looking at Mash."So you're saying I'm dense?"

"I guess... that's about right," Finn says, already sighing, while Mash places his silver coin on the table, sighing and looking out the window."There's nothing to do, and it's so quiet here," Finn agrees, also looking out the window."Yeah, true," Mash responds.

"WAIT, THERE IS! WE HAVE HOMEWORK!!" Finn shouts desperately, while Mash maintains his usual expression."Oh, really?" Mash asks, observing his friend's freakout.

"NOW WE'RE SCREWED!! I FORGOT ABOUT IT!! IF WE DON'T TURN IN THE POTION ASSIGNMENT!! WE'LL LOSE SO MANY POINTS WE'LL GET EXPELLED!!!" Finn shouts desperately but is stopped when he feels a hand on his shoulder, Mash's hand holding a profiterole."Want one?" Mash asks before Finn shouts again."THIS ISN'T THE TIME TO EAT!!""My bad," Mash says, now also entering panic mode and mimicking Finn in his act of despair, as if he were pulling at his hair but not actually touching it."AAAAAHHHH! HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THIS IN TIME??"

"Then I told him that he was being selfish over a carrot -" you say as you enter the room and see Finn and Mash in distress."You haven't finished yet?" Lance says, appearing beside you as he enters the room."LANCE?! (Name)?!" Finn says, shocked."Oh, the lolicon," Mash says, realizing who it was, Lance entering with you behind."She's my sister," Lance says, referring to the pendant.

"But you said the other one was—" Mash is interrupted as Lance approaches and speaks."You two aren't doing anything worthwhile, you both are the epitome of sloppiness," Lance says.

"Don't talk to them like that, Lance," you say, elbowing the boy's arm."But wait, have you finished yours?" Finn asks, looking at both of you."Of course I have, I'm more responsible than you guys.""I should have expected that from the top student in our class, Lance is impeccable,"

"We're not going to help them!" Mash strides forward, heading towards Lance."Guys like you two are going to ruin Adler House's reputation, you should be ashamed," Lance says as Mash takes Lance's pendant."Um, Mash?" Finn asks, watching the scene, while you walk over to stand beside Finn. Mash opens the pendant in front of Lance, causing a glow to emanate from inside.

Lance's eyes widen as he sees the photos inside the pendant. He remains silent for a while before throwing himself against the wall."HOW COULD THIS BE?! DID HE FLY INTO THE WALL ON HIS OWN?!" Finn asks, looking surprised at the turn of events. Lance coughs up blood while still staring at the contents of the pendant."Oh, my precious ones, imposing your clear light upon my weak eyes without warning! It is my destiny to succumb to this endless warmth, with the embrace of my beloved in my final breaths," Lance departs without regrets.

Finn thinks to himself, watching Lance on the ground, "Is he trying to act out some play?!"

Chapter 27: EP.26

Chapter Text

After the incident, the group found themselves in the kitchen. Lance was rummaging through the countertop cabinets."You'll need this for the task," he said.

"What was all that drama about just now?" Finn wondered to himself as he stared at the boy with light blue hair."A Mandrake," Lance said, pulling out a plant that was screaming and crying."If you make it stop crying, it'll become the key ingredient for the potions."

"Oh, that magic stuff," you and Finn stared at Mash as Finn shouted."YOU DO KNOW THIS IS A SCHOOL OF MAGIC, RIGHT?"

Lance then placed the Mandrake on the kitchen counter and took out his wand. "I'll show you how it's done. QUIENTUS!" The Mandrake, which was previously screaming and crying, began to quiet down until it finally fell asleep. "Now it's your turn to try," Lance instructed.

You stood beside Lance as Finn stepped forward, heading toward the Mandrake. He pointed his wand at the Mandrake and repeated the spell Lance had shown. "QUIENTUS!" The Mandrake continued to cry as Finn tried the spell again. "QUIENTUS!" Finn attempted once more, but it didn't work, and the Mandrake continued to cry.

"I can't seem to make it stop screaming," Finn says, feeling a bit disheartened by his inability to cast the spell."Finn, your center of gravity is off. You need basic training," Mash approaches the Mandrake and points his wand at it."QUIENTUS!" But the Mandrake screams and cries even louder, its face appearing demonic.

"My ears are begging for mercy." you think, breaking into a cold sweat as you look at the plant that Mash tried the spell on."I think he just made it worse, it even dilated the pupils!" Finn thinks, shocked, as he looks at Mash.

"Finn, you need to focus on your magic," you say, looking at the boy who now snaps back to reality. "Oh, right!""Let me help you," you approach the boy, standing behind Finn. You hold Finn's hand, resting your head on his shoulder, and guiding his hand that was pointing the wand at the Mandrake.Lance watches the situation, noticing a slight blush forming on Finn's cheeks. "Just imagine a calm-" You're swiftly pulled back by the collar of your shirt and jacket, yanked away from behind Finn. Lance drags you away, almost shoving you.

"Blegh!" You bite your tongue as you look at Lance, who almost let you fall. "You jerk--" Lance doesn't care and instead interrupts you, looking at Finn and taking his own wand."Visualize a calming spell and release the magic through your wand.""O-okay," Finn says, now looking at the Mandrake.

"Nice and easy, there you go," Lance says as he watches Finn cast his magic, and the Mandrake finally falls asleep."I did it! Did you see that, (Name)? Lance? I really did it!" Finn says joyfully, his cheeks slightly pink with excitement."Congratulations, Finn!" you say, approaching the boy and looking at him with joy. "He looks so cute, like a little bunny."

"Of course, even a slacker like you can manage that," Lance says seriously."How rude, Lance!" you say, looking at Lance while placing your hands on your hips."T-thank you," Finn says, turning to look at Lance."Lance is really good at taking care of others.""I won't let you take what's mine," Lance seems to have other thoughts.
"Wait... what about Mash?" Finn turns his head to look at Mash, who has his huge Mandrake swinging its arms angrily, hitting the ceiling."Cool!" you exclaim, looking at Mash's Mandrake.

"THAT'S NOT COOL! HIS PLANT WENT BERSERK!" Finn thinks as he looks at you and then at Mash, startled. But it seems the problem is resolved when Mash jumps up and slaps his huge Mandrake, causing it to spit blood and collapse unconscious on the ground."I did it."

"Do you really think that?!" Finn thinks.

Chapter 28: EP.27

Chapter Text

"Once they're asleep, they become normal plants," Lance said, holding the sleeping Mandrake in his hand. "Now let's create a compound; this part is extremely simple. Watch." Lance then begins to move toward the countertop.

"First: chop," Lance then begins to quickly chop the plant into tiny pieces."Then this!" Lance grabs the bowl and dumps it into the frying pan."And this," his focused look was evident."And with this..." Lance then adds something, and his potion is ready."And that's how it's done."
"It's quite simple," you said, taking a bite of an apple while resting your face on your hand on the counter."SIMPLE MY FOOT!" Finn thinks, looking shocked at the situation after hearing you talk about the potion preparation."I understand everything," Mash says with his neutral look.""STOP LYING!"Finn yells, looking shocked at Mash."No, seriously, it's just not mixing magic into it," Mash says, holding the knife and the Mandrake.
"Cut, then this, and that, finish with that," but then you start repeating what Lance showed."It's ready," but incredibly, it's a cream puff made with the recipe.
"IT'S NOT ANY OF THAT! HOW DID IT END UP AS CREAM PUFF?!" Finn thinks, shocked at what he witnessed."You've got to be kidding me, right?"

"I'm not kidding," Lance then begins to help Mash make the potion. "It starts like this, understand?" "Okay." You watch Lance help the boys. "Then you add this." "Okay."

"Stir well." "Okay."
"Then finally, add this." "Okay."
Another cream puff emerged, and you look surprised at the boys, seeing Lance's shocked face."How is this possible?! I watched him do it from start to finish, and it turned into a cream puff?!" Lance seemed to look at the sweet in shock.
"You're no good for anything, just good for throwing punches!" Lance says, looking at Mash."Yeah," you reach out, pulling the plate."Is she seriously going to eat that?!" Finn thinks as he watches you pull the plate with the Mandrake-made dessert.
"Why is he so proud of that?" Lance thinks, taking off his cap."Well, whatever. I'm going to tell you something: know that I'll never lose to you again."

"Lance lost against Mash, huh? Well, Lance deserved it, especially after losing my wand. I wish I could have seen it,"

"How can she eat that so calmly?!" Finn thinks as he watches you eat the dessert without a care, even enjoying it."Yay!! Drama, I love it!"
"I have a reason for being part of the Magic Cabinet," Lance continues."And what would that be?" Mash asks, looking at the boy.

"I'm not going to tell you, it's none of your business," Lance says, lowering his head. "And I'll tell you right now, you're the only guy who fought as well as I did, maybe even better, but I won't let anyone take your coins from you, no matter what happens," Lance continues with a threatening tone.

"No need to say it, that's not going to happen," Mash says, watching Lance tie his cap again."Let's try again," "Okay, but why did you take off your cap?""...,"

Chapter 29: EP.28

Chapter Text

"This forest is quite dense," Mash says, looking around."You can say that," you nod in agreement as you glance at the students around."They sent word that we're having class here."
"But what are we going to do in this place?" Finn asks, looking confused at Lance."What do you do in a forest? Camp?" Mash imagines his friends camping."I think that would be leisure," you reply, looking at Mash who is lost in thought, gazing upwards."This is a magic academy," Lance adds before you all hear a voice.

"I AM NUMBER 1! I AM NUMBER 1! I AM DOT BARRETT! I AM THE MAIN CHARACTER OF THIS STORY!! THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND ME!"A boy with red hair and a bandana approaches with exaggerated, large steps while shouting about himself."Great! Another delulu. It's either going to be a showdown or he's going to be shut down," you think to yourself, looking at the boy with boredom

"I AM THE PROTAGONIST—WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT?!" Dot asks as he turns his head to glance at the quartet. "Geez," you say, looking at the red-haired boy. "Lame," Mash adds, also looking at the boy. "He's another freshman from our house," Lance replies while glancing at Dot.

"HEY, I KNOW YOU! THE MUSHROOM HAIR THAT'S THE TALK OF THE TOWN, YOU LOOK LIKE AN EXTRA TO ME!" Dot proudly shouts, pointing at Mash. "I'LL TELL YOU! NOW YOU'RE NOTHING BUT AN EXTRA BECAUSE I'M THE PROTAGONIST NOW! A—" "Weird delulu," you say, putting your hand on your hip, but you spot Lemon in the distance, feeling happy and stepping out from behind Finn. "LEMON OVER HERE!!" Dot stops talking when you emerge from behind the others. In Dot's view, you flip your hair in a cute way while waving your hand in the most adorable manner possible. "Y.y.y.you..." Dot points at you, to which you ignore. "It's her! My female protagonist!"

You walked past Dot, heading towards Lemon. "Thank goodness, I thought I wouldn't find you guys!" Lemon says as you walk with her back to the other three. Lemon then starts her usual crushy behavior towards Mash. "Outdoor classes always end up like this, don't they, (name)?" Lemon turns to look at you, and you give a thumbs-up beside Finn.

"Lemon says, 'I'm not going to strain to keep up with you... so be careful, okay?'" You observe the situation. "I mean, Lemon's right, who knows what's on the teacher's mind, so everyone has to be careful!" You continue Lemon's statement, to which she nods in agreement.

"Mash, can I come along?" Lemon asks, blushing."She looks like a little bunny with her different hair ribbons... and also, seems to be less delulu," you add.

But then, Dot spits in Mash's face, making everyone look at him."Seriously, dude?" Mash's face is covered in the spit Dot gave him, and he starts shouting."I'LL KILL YOU!""Yay, drama, I'm betting on Mash," you think, smiling darkly as you imagine the red-haired boy, Dot lying on the ground beaten."YOU JERK! I HATE GUYS WHO GET WOMEN'S ATTENTION!! YOU JERK! I'M GONNA KILL YOU I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!"

"Look at her, she's got that smile again," Finn and Lance think as they watch you enjoying the scene."TO BEGIN WITH, THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! THE RATIO OF MEN TO WOMEN SHOULD BE EQUAL! HOW COME NO GIRL FALLS IN LOVE WITH ME?!!"
"THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE!! IT'S BECAUSE OF JERKS LIKE YOU WHO MESS EVERYTHING UP!!!" Dot then dramatically starts crying and pointing at Mash, with wide eyes."IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU THAT THE BIRTH RATES ARE FALLING!!! AM I NEVER GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE DARLING TO CALL MY OWN?!"

Your smile fades, and you're now looking at the boy with disgust and hatred."I guess he annoyed her," Lance and Finn think together, seeing your scowl.Lemon looks shocked by the incident. She then walks up beside you, nudging you."Who's that jerk who spat on my Mash?""Just some jerk who thinks he's the protagonist, haha," you sarcastically reply as Lemon nods in agreement."Weirdo!""You can say that again," Lemon agrees, looking away."Let's get out of here."

Dot seems to hear your words and spits blood, angrily while also crying blood. "NOW I HAVE A GOAL! WHEN I'M IN THE MAGIC OFFICE, HANDSOME AND GOOD-LOOKING MEN WILL GET SCREWED!!" You and your group had already distanced yourselves from Dot, who was just screaming in anger. When he realizes that no one is listening to him, they've actually moved away from him, Dot notices how you're in between Lance and Finn, while Lemon talks to Mash.

"I prefer cream puff without filling," Mash says while looking at the group."Aw, Mash... I accept!" Lemon says, blushing and deluded."I mean, they were good," you comment to Finn about Mash's mandrake cream puff "Yeah, the mandrake ones are really tasty!" Finn responds, while Lance just sighs."Afterwards, share the recipe of how you made them," you say, looking at Lance and then at Mash.

"AWW!! WHAT'S THE MATTER! LISTEN TO MY SPEECH!! IGNORING ME HURTS MY EGO!"

Chapter 30: EP.29

Chapter Text

"Silence, all of you!" The professor says loudly as he appears in a spell, everyone then looks at the professor."Both the Adler and Lang houses will participate in this exercise. You will all have the chance to win a bronze and silver coin, but you must prepare yourselves... as your task is to expel the scorpions from the forest and collect the stone from their heads."

"Finally!!! I'll be able to kill some monster!" you think happily, unaware that the others are looking at you."Most of them will only give you a bronze coin, but the strongest ones will be worth a silver coin. You can identify them by the square stone lodged in their heads. Common magic users certainly don't stand a chance, but you are students of Easton," the professor then begins to show an image of the scorpion in a magic circle."Do whatever it takes to survive! Enter now, in order."

You follow behind your classmates, entering while hearing shouting."YOU LITTLE BRAT! NO WAY I'M LOSING TO YOU!" you turn your head to look back and see Dot yelling at Mash. He soon starts walking, and when he notices you looking, a silly smile spreads across Dot's face along with a hint of pink on his cheeks. He waves his hand at you, looking like a different person from when he was yelling at Mash."What a weirdo," you think, raising an eyebrow before following behind your friends, completely ignoring the boy.

"I'd like to win a silver coin if possible," Lance says, stopping beside Mash. "I'll do my best too," Lance nods in response to Mash's reply. But then the duo hears a whistle, and someone appears behind Mash, grabbing his shoulder, a boy with short gray hair."You think you're all that, huh? What's up, I see through you. You're thinking you're some special guy, right? You're deluding yourself, telling yourself you're better than everyone else, and I know you think everyone's beneath you."The boy then performs magic to summon an iron stake hitting Mash in the stomach, lifting him up.

The professor then turns to look at the students. "What are you doing? I'll deduct points!" The boy then raises his hands in surrender as he walks a bit forward."Oops, sorry there, professor, we were just messing around here, right, freshman?" The boy turns to look at Mash on the ground, but soon notices a dark look coming from Mash."Oh, kid! That's the face I want to see, I want you to keep that face when I'm done with you." The boy then turns, waving goodbye with his arm as he walks away."Can't wait for that, freshman!"
"Hey, Mash!" Lance puts his hand on Mash's shoulder, drawing the boy's attention."Ignore him, he's a year older than us, and he's infamous for misbehaving, you know? He's hurt numerous teachers and students he doesn't like to the point of having to repeat the year." Lance and Mash watch the boy walk away, with his smirk."But they consider his talent as a magic user, so they haven't expelled him from here. You'll always hear things from Lang, so don't mess with him."

Lance is surprised when Mash pulls out a profiterole from his coat. "Phew, I thought he had squashed the profiterole.""Is that why you made that face? And don't put it in there, it's unhygienic," Lance scolds Mash as the boy simply eats his profiterole."Okay," the two then start entering the forest, walking side by side along a path.

"This seems dangerous," Lance says as he enters the forest ahead of Mash. "We should work in pairs. Being older, I'm used to taking care of others," Lance says, turning to speak to Mash, but instead finds himself alone in the forest, with nobody there."He's vanished?!" Lance just sighs before continuing to walk. "Maybe I'll find (name) or someone nearby," Lance thinks as he walks.

"Damn, I missed the meeting!" You scold yourself as you wander around, searching for the girl or any sign of your friends. "Oh man, I found nothing!" You say, looking up in frustration. But you're interrupted when a noise comes from behind you. Looking back, you see a large scorpion."Finally, I can kill something!" you think as you thank the heavens before preparing yourself.

Opening the palm of your hand as you wait for your wand to fall from your sleeves, you realize it didn't happen, so you look at your hand."Oh, right, Lance lost my wand," you get angry, already starting to mess up your hair. "That darn water-haired jerk!" You shout in frustration before hearing a growl.Looking ahead, you notice the scorpion is still in front of you, ready to attack.

Its tail moves, and soon you're on the ground as the scorpion's stinger whips between your legs, nearly tearing your skirt and grazing your leg. You crawl backward, but then you scream as the scorpion's stinger, dislodged from the ground, heads towards your face.Closing your eyes and putting your hands up to defend yourself, you wait for the scorpion's attack, but when you realize it never comes, you open your eyes to see."A shield?!" You're confused as you look at the black shield around you, while the scorpion is trying to break through. You look at your hands."Oh, did I do this? Huh?" Suddenly, multiple heads of yourself roll around you as you think."But wasn't there something like this?"

"Blah, blah, blah, wizards!" one of the heads speaks as you think."Wand! Blah blah blah!" You just wave your hand, dismissing the thought."Nah, must be nothing," you then stand up, pointing your finger at the scorpion outside the shield. "I'm going to pop you like a balloon!" When you realize a bolt of lightning shoots from your finger and literally makes the scorpion explode. You look at your finger in shock as the shield around you disappears."Well, darn..." You blink, confused, before walking over to the creature's carcass, pulling a star from its head or what's left of it, and tucking it into your coat. Then you hear something behind you and look back."THERE WAS ANOTHER JERK?!"

Chapter 31: EP.30

Chapter Text

"Mash? And... you," you say, looking at the boy with black hair and the boy with red hair beside him."AAAAAH!!!" screams the boy with red hair, blushing as he looks at you.

"Ugh..." you cover one of your ears as you listen to the boy. "AS A PROTAGONIST -" Mash slaps the boy, interrupting his shout. He starts rubbing the sore spot, trying to compose himself in front of you. "I just wasted calories on you, I'll never get them back," you pat Mash's shoulder sympathetically, feeling sorry for the boy, which makes Dot grit his teeth.

"I'm going to kill him.""Alright, forget about our lesson then. The fight's going to be here and now," but then everyone hears a noise, a scream coming from somewhere."What's that? A gazelle? Oh, poor thing!" you think as you imagine a gazelle crying in pain.

Everyone approaches a location, and you frown when you realize it's not an animal, but just two boys."Oh, it's just two jerk humans, but at least I'll have some drama to watch," you think, smiling maliciously as you imagine the two pulling each other's hair and punching each other in the face until they bleed.

"STOP, PLEASE!" the girl shouted in fear, while you were already getting bored with the scene."SHUT UP! BECAUSE OF YOU I—YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET THIS!!" the boy in front of the girl shouted, threatening her with a wand.

"Someone please... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, PLEASE!" You yawned out of boredom, looking at the scene, imagining a bucket of popcorn."I wish I had popcorn to eat, watching this dry is a drag," you soon have a light bulb moment, "can I create a bucket of popcorn?" you think as you snap your fingers, but nothing appears. You sigh frustrated, unaware that Mash is now looking at you.

"EXPLOMB," and then an explosion occurs where the boy who was threatening the girl should be."Now it's getting interesting!" you say, already smiling, and watching the scene unfold as the boy falls to his knees injured. You were almost applauding with joy."You were about to lay a hand on a girl, you're truly a garbage of a man," you turn your head to look at Dot, before turning to look at the boy lying on the ground.

"Ah, hi," Dot turns his head to look at the girl. "Thank you very much for helping me!" The girl then flashes a fake smile, her cheeks slightly flushed with her beauty."Wow, what a babe!! Hold on—I have to keep my cool," Dot then turns away, trying to control his breathing, while the girl looks at him confused. You, who were inside the bush, were already getting bored."Damn, what about my fight?!" you think as you wait for them to start fighting.

"Oh, that? It was nothing..." Dot tries to maintain a serious face but it quickly breaks when the girl takes the boy's hand. "Ouch! What soft hands!! I wonder if my protagonist's hands are like this too," Dot thinks as he looks at his hand being held by the girl."Wow, you're so strong!" The girl says, throwing her charm at Dot."ARGH! I CAN'T DO IT!" Dot punches himself, while you hear an explosion coming from another place. You look towards the forest."What was that, man? I hope it wasn't me," you think as you look at your hands, before turning to face the soap opera.

Mash was eating his profiterole, while the girl sat closer to Dot, who seemed to be having a meltdown."Our knees are touching, so is this the natural distance of a modern couple? Stay calm, stay quiet, my heart. Don't be weird and she'll never find out that you're unpopular!" Dot thinks with his eyes closed, trying to maintain a calm demeanor."Stay cool, come on, stay cool—"

"STAY COOL! STAY COOL!" Dot shouts to himself, trying to maintain his concentration, resulting in a strange grimace."Wow... maniac," says the girl next to Dot as she looks at him, as if he were crazy."Did you say something?" Dot asks, looking at the girl while trying to keep calm."I was just marveling at how manly and amazing you are. 'Wow, you're fantastic' is what I said," the girl says, pretending to blush and be shy.

"It sounded shorter than that," Dot says as he thinks about what the girl said. "But it's the truth," the girl says before throwing her charm at Dot, fluttering her eyelashes as she speaks."I think you're a wonderful guy~!" The girl says as she bats her eyelashes in a cute way, causing Dot to be paralyzed for a few minutes before punching himself in the head. He then falls to the ground, hitting his head on the ground."Stop it, Dot! You're already pledged to your protagonist!!!" Dot thinks as he hits his head on the ground, blaming himself.

"Tee-hee, with my magic I can make anyone slightly fall in love with me, he's head over heels for me now, although he could have fallen in love without magic, now it's Mushroom Head's turn," the girl thought as she looked at Mash before sliding closer to him."Thank you too, you saved me too," the girl says, blinking her eyes.

"I smell falsehood; I better handle this. None of my friends will fall for a slut's tricks," you think as you observe the girl trying to charm Mash, who only responds with his usual neutral expression. "Besides, I feel like Lemon would hassle me just because I left some pest on her 'fiancé'. Ugh, I need a vacation," you think as you get up from the ground where you were sitting, and step out from behind a bush, dusting off your clothes and stretching your back."Ugh, what a pain!" You say, already getting annoyed as you walk over to where the trio is.

"Who's that?! He just showed up out of nowhere! And wow, he's handsome! Have I seen him at school before?" The girl thinks as she watches you approach, apparently you messed up the popcorn spell and created an illusion where you appear as a boy, which of course, you haven't noticed yet."Oh, can I help you?" The girl looks at you, batting her eyelashes."Maybe I'll get lucky today, who knows, maybe we could get together, I mean, a beautiful girl like me and a hot guy like him! We'd be totally popular!" The girl thinks as she prepares her magic.

Chapter 32: EP.31

Chapter Text

(BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I GOT SICK FOR LIKE A WHOLE WEEK, SO THE CAP PRODUCTION SLOWED DOWN, I'M TRYING TO GET BACK TO HOW IT WAS, UNTIL THEN I'M NOT SURE IF THE CAP PER WEEK RULE WILL REMAIN)

"Stop with the fakeness," you say, already serious while maintaining an irritated expression. The girl looks shocked before composing herself. "Did he figure it out? I'll have to use more magic!" she thinks as she increases her spell behind her back before clasping her hands and looking at you with cute eyes and blushing cheeks. "I don't know what you're talking about! Could you explain it to me?" The girl pretends to have a cute and innocent tone of voice. "There's no way this guy can resist me! My beauty is a true feast for the eyes, ears, and hands!!" the girl thinks as she imagines you looking at her with serious and loving eyes, but as soon as she looked into yours,

"That's disgusting!" you think as you look at her in disgust. "But what?! Why is he looking at me like that?! What's wrong with him?!" You pull your hand away from the girl and wipe it on your jacket. "This crap isn't going to work on me, sweetheart!" You say, looking at her with disdain before turning to look at Mash. "What a delicate princess face," Dot thinks as he looks at the girl, unaware of you next to Mash looking at the girl in disgust. "Is there something wrong? You can tell me anything!" Dot says, looking at the girl pretending to be sad.

"In fact, there's this boy who won't stop threatening me," the girl said, pretending to be sad."A boy is?" Dot asks while you just roll your eyes."Can't imagine, it's a mare!" you think as you grit your teeth."It's Silva, a second-year student. He's a guy I've heard not-so-nice things about. He's trying to take advantage of a magic that only I can use. He's been stalking me all the time," Mash looks at you and then at your hands, noticing you clenching them into fists while gritting your teeth.

"I don't want to get involved in anything bad, but some people try to force me, as you saw," the girl then begins to cry falsely. Mash quickly has to sit you down next to him before he goes after the girl, you pull Mash's hand. "I don't know what I can do," the girl says, crying, while Dot watches her with pity and sadness."Let's go!" you whisper to Mash, to which he only looks at you, about to say something, but the girl finishes speaking. "Sorry to say this out of the blue," the girl says, smiling and wiping away the fake tears."Crocodile tears, I'll see when I make you cry for real, bitch!" you think while biting your cheek to refrain from swearing, already looking at Mash holding your wrists to prevent you from going after the girl.

"It's alright, I'm gonna beat the crap out of this Silva guy!" you raise an eyebrow, looking at Dot."No! D-don't start trouble with him," the girl says with a falsely concerned tone."Relax, I'm gonna mess him up," you reassure, determined.

"I can't believe it," again with a falsely concerned tone, you bite your lip to refrain from swearing in front of the girl."Who's gonna mess up who?" things are interrupted when the boy, the so-called Silva, appears after conjuring stakes, making everyone step back."Huh?!" The boy asks mockingly.

"So it's you! Get ready to die!" Dot says, already grabbing his wand. You look at the girl stepping back and see her wand lying on the ground nearby. You crouch down and pick it up."Haha, time to expose the fake girl," you think, imagining her in the midst of the fight desperate for her wand. The boy whistles before speaking, "You have the most pathetic delinquent face I've ever seen." You suppress a laugh, watching the fight unfold."Amen! Today's gonna be a showdown!"

"And so, whenever I come across an arrogant fool like you, I feel the need to bring them back to reality, and when I do that, what ridiculous face will you make? Huh? I'm curious!" The boy taunts."EXPLOM!" Dot shouts, and soon an explosion erupts where the boy was standing, causing him to recoil. Before he could react, Dot aims his wand at the boy and yells, "MACHINE GUN EXPLOM!" And thus, several explosion balls home in on the boy, targeting him.

"And I'm not done yet! EXPLOM!" Dot shouts, wielding his wand to conjure a massive explosion ball before hurling it at the boy. "Die twice," Dot says, flipping the middle finger at the boy, while you were smiling devilishly witnessing the fight. The girl was shocked, and Mash was calmly munching on his profiterole.

Meanwhile...

Lance was standing, with Finn clinging to his right foot and Lemon clinging to his left foot, both of them were crying while Lance looked at the situation. "Please Lance! Stay here with us!! We love you!!!" Finn says desperately crying. "Ouch!! I'm scared!! Please!!" Lemon also cries in desperation.

"Let go of me," Lance says, looking at the two who were crying at his feet. "Don't leave us!!!" they both say, crying, making Lance sigh. "Anyway, I wonder if he's doing okay? It seems like the second-year guy has his eye on him, have they not met?" Lance looks again at the two crying and desperate. He reaches for his shirt, taking out his locket and opening it to look at the two photos. "I hope she's okay too. I wish I could have met her instead of these two. Maybe we could have caught up," Lance thinks, smiling, as a slight blush colors his cheeks.

Chapter 33: EP.32

Chapter Text

"You're not that great," Dot says as he looks at the smoke dissipating, revealing several iron stakes covering the second-year boy, now slowly disappearing as they fall to the ground, revealing the boy unharmed. "Nice attempt with your magic, it'll never pierce through mine! Got it?!" The boy then points his wand at Dot, causing an iron stake to hit his body, making him cough up blood, and a stone flies, making Mash's profiterole fall to the ground. You tilt your head to the side, still smiling diabolically, to avoid getting hit by the stone.

"HEY, HEY, WHAT'S THE MATTER?! WHERE DID ALL THAT ENERGY GO?! HEY, I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA KILL ME! COME ON, TRY HARDER, GET ON WITH IT!!" the boy shouted as he watched Dot fall from the stake to the ground, in pain and coughing up blood. The iron stake then begins to descend towards the ground, disappearing."BUT ISN'T IT ASTONISHING?! ANYONE CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE! JUST COMPARE OUR ABILITIES, AND YOU'LL SEE THAT YOU'RE A WIMP! HAHAHA!!!" the boy laughs as Dot slowly gets up, or rather, tries to.

"He dropped your cream puff..." You say, looking at the sweet on the ground before turning to Mash, who looks confused with a bit of cream on his cheek.

"Damn, what's going on here? The difference in magical power is way too big!" Dot then turns to look at Mash. "Wait... who's that boy? It's no use, he won't help, and Mushroom Head won't be of any use!" Dot shifts his gaze to the boy in front, Silva."Think, think of something! How am I going to save this girl?!" Dot clenches his fists, gritting his teeth.

"Hey, you're not done yet, are you? What a disappointment," Silva, the boy in front, says as he taunts Dot."WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Dot shouted, while Silva gave a bored and cynical look."I called you a disappointment, you piece of crap!" leaving Dot speechless as he looked at Silva, perhaps thinking of a plan.

"Here's the deal," Silva begins, catching Dot's attention, who raises his head to look at him. "I'm willing to give you three a chance to fight."

"Give us a chance?" Dot asks, confused, as he looks at Silva. "Yeah, a chance. If you can handle my magic five times, I'll stop bothering this little girl here," you suppress a laugh, making Mash look at you with confusion, and perhaps the girl feel embarrassed for being called 'little girl', although she tries to pretend with her innocent act.

"Of course, I'll follow the rules of the academy and bet a silver coin too, how about it? Are you going to miss this opportunity?" Silva watches the silence settle, looking at Dot, who is only sweating cold. "So? Are you going to chicken out?"

"THAT CONDITION IS WAY TOO ABSURD!!" The girl says in a loud tone of concern, making Dot accept the challenge right away. "Great, it's a bet then, damn it!" Dot points a finger at the boy, causing the girl to scream again in false concern. "DON'T DO THIS! HE COULD SERIOUSLY END UP HURTING YOU!!" You just yawn, making Mash look at you again. "What's up?"

"AWW, I'll be fine, it's just 5 attacks," Dot says, looking at the girl. "YOU'll be fine? Okay, but it's not just you, the mushroom head and the little prince have to be in it too!" Silva says, looking behind Dot and observing as you and Mash lock eyes before facing Silva.

"WHAT?! BUT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" Dot shouts, looking surprised at Silva."Does that mean I can break him?" You think after hearing the conversation, feeling a wicked grin trying to appear. You use your painted male hand to cover your mouth, hiding your sinister smile. "Oh really? It's too bad that it's not you who will decide that," you say confidently.

"Alright, then I'll take their share too, just so nobody complains later!" Dot says, pointing to herself in a serious and confident manner, making Silva whistle. "What an idiot, thinking he's going to handle all 15, huh? Hahahaha!"

"Who does he think he is? Thinks he's going to ruin my chance to get rid of a scumbag from the world?!" You think, already getting annoyed with the boy, now crossing your arms as you grit your teeth. "Prick," Mash called, forgetting the boy's name and referring to him by his hairstyle."I got myself into this mess, I'll have to find a way to fix it!" Dot says, looking down before opening her arms.

"IRON FIST!" Silva shouts, causing an iron stake to hit Dot's stomach, making him spit blood. "This won't end well!" Dot thinks as he spits blood, being pushed and forced to crouch in pain. "HOW ABOUT THAT?! THINK YOU CAN HANDLE 15 OF THESE?!""HERE COMES NUMBER 2!!!" Silva says, already starting to cast the spell multiple times."3! 4! AND 5! 6! 7! I'M NOT DONE YET!! 8! 9! 10! 11! 12! 13! 14!"

But after the last attack, Silva looks to see the smoke clearing, revealing Dot standing up, still bleeding from all sides."I bet I look like an idiot now..." Dot mutters, looking down as blood dripped.

"You IDIOT!! YOU STUPID, DAMNED BASTARD!!!" you think, full of hate as you start biting your nails."It was supposed to be my turn!! Don't try to play the protagonist! You won't even get close to that!!" you keep thinking as you look at Dot with pure rage, almost as if you could kill him with your eyes just because he tried to be nice and stole your turn.

"I knew it, your offer seemed too simple, but because I'm an idiot, I didn't doubt anything," Dot says, remembering the girl crying, "just like the tears of that girl."

"I'm surprised I endured. As a prize, get ready... because my final spell will be the biggest of all! IRON FIST!!" A huge iron stake hits Dot head-on, sending him flying and crashing to the ground."AWW, what a shame, but did you really think you could endure--" The boy stops speaking when he sees Dot getting up, all bruised."Fifteen blows, right? So, that was the last one," Dot says, trying to walk forward. "So, keep your promise--" Dot says before collapsing on the ground.

After Dot fell to the ground, and his blood stained the earth, Silva looked at the boy, before mocking him, "Hmph, you idiot... HAHAHA! STUPID, JERK, YOU IDIOT! HOW CAN YOU BE SO DIMWITTED, HUH?... IT'S OBVIOUS YOU CAN'T EVEN STAND UP!!" You and Mash looked at Silva, Mash could see you clenching your fists while the boy, Silva, continued his mockery, "YOU'VE BECOME AN EASY TARGET FOR MY MAGIC!!"

"Mushroom head... grab the girl and get out of here. I'll handle... sorting this out," Dot said with difficulty, squeezing one of his hands, feeling his body was completely sore."IRON FIST!" Then Silva summoned another iron stake and lifted it from where Dot was lying, hitting the boy squarely. "What nonsense are you babbling about?" Silva asked, as his spell disappeared into the ground, making Dot momentarily stand up.

"Mushroom head... please," Dot said before the girl interrupted him."He's such a loser!" Dot lifted his gaze to look at the girl. "I know you were under my spell, but no one can be so desperate like this," the girl said, looking at Dot almost disgusted. "Seriously, it's almost pathetic to see! This guy is such an idiot, he thinks he's all that. What does he think he is? The protagonist of a story?!" Silva mocked as Dot looked at the girl with a betrayed look.

"What a clumsy boy. If there's one thing I hate... it's a guy like you acting all high and mighty, but at least seeing you like this makes me want to laugh," the girl concluded, looking at Dot, before Silva started laughing."HAHAHAHA!! INSULTED BY THE GIRL YOU SACRIFICED YOURSELF TO PROTECT! YOU'RE THE MOST PATHETIC MAN I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!" Silva mocked as he continued to laugh, but he was interrupted by Mash throwing a cream puff into the boy's mouth.

Chapter 34: EP.33

Chapter Text

"You two have gone too far... Let's—" You interrupted Mash's speech by placing your hand on the boy's shoulder. Mash turned his head to see your killer gaze, possibly filled with anger. "Mash, it's my turn," you said through clenched teeth. "Then it's your turn." Mash simply stepped back as you began to walk forward, your head tilting to the side, emitting a look of fury. "Now... you piece of crap, it's my turn to take part in this damn challenge." You tilted your head upward, giving off an air of superiority, while one of your hands, with an index finger, beckoned the boy. "So let's go... 15 magical strikes... come on." The girl next to Silva couldn't help but tremble in fear when she saw your deadly gaze.

"Do you think they're okay?" Lance asks, looking at Finn and Lemon while sitting on a tree branch.

"Well... they can handle themselves just fine, it's Mash and (name)..." Finn then has a brief flashback of when you and Mash were almost killing the vice principal. Finn breaks into a cold sweat as he looks away. "Yeah! Mash even outscored the teacher in the entrance exams!" Lemon says, blushing at the mention of Mash's name, remembering in an exaggerated and glorified way Mash's performance at the beginning of the exam.

"But there are different types of magic users," Lance says before looking up. "White mages are good support academics, and the 'scarlets' excel in combat." He continues, "Mash has faced white mages so far, but the scarlets above the first year are strong. Dual-line ones aren't uncommon, and among them, there must be several who are stronger or better than Mash." Lance reflects on when Mash defeated him and when Mash broke the professor's wand at the beginning of the exam.

"But... (Name) is just a white mage... obviously, I'm not sure if she could beat that boy, especially if she's near Mash," Lance says, recalling when you were healing him, using your magic to treat Lance's wounds before he went home. In Lance's mind, he believes you still only use healing magic and have no combat magic at all.

"HAHAHAHAH!!! Let's go!! What happened?! You couldn't even hit me!!" You laugh at Silva, using the stolen wand from the girl, pointing it at Silva, who had a shadow wolf wrapped around his body. "Your expression... it's so satisfying to see!!" You say, already putting your hands on your own cheeks, while swaying your body a bit. "You've delivered a total of 13 attacks and still haven't hurt me at all!! Isn't that something?!" You laugh and taunt the boy, as your spell vanishes into the shadow of the boy, letting him drop to the ground.

"I'm the strongest in the second year! And I have two lines!! I won't let some random guy mock me! Especially a single-line guy!!!" Silva thinks as he looks on. "You... YOU BASTARD!! DON'T GET COCKY!!" Silva shouts as he sends an iron stake towards you. You tilt your head, causing the iron to pass by your side, making a drop of blood come out. You smile as you watch the boy. "I have more power than him!! I'll show him!!" Silva thinks as he watches you use your thumb to wipe away the blood, which ended up staining the makeup you were wearing. "Wait... what's that stain? He—"

"Congratulations!!" You clap as you watch the boy, interrupting his thoughts. "You gave me a little scratch!" You then use your sleeve to wipe away the blood, revealing more hidden lines after removing not only the blood but also the makeup that concealed them. "That's... THAT'S 4 LINES? HOW DID HE GET THAT? IT MUST BE AN ILLUSION! He's probably doing this just to scare me, because think about it, you bastard! That illusion won't work on me—" The boy's thoughts are interrupted when a shockwave envelops his body, causing him to scream in pain as a kind of shadow thorn picks him up and throws him forcefully to the ground. "That makes it 14... you have one more attack to make before I burn you to death!" You say, looking at the boy, who was now panting as he tried to get up.

"I can't... I can't lose like this! I earned two gold coins!" Silva thinks as he sends another stake towards you, but once again, it's destroyed and deflected. Silva looks at you as you approach him, starting to clap, a diabolical smile on your face. "That makes it 15 attacks! Oh, poor thing~ out of all the 15," you then grab the boy's head, making him look directly into your eyes, demonic eyes. "Only 1 made a miserable scratch~ goodbye~" You raise the wand to the boy's neck, a small energy ball appearing, but before you could use it to finish him off, a hand is placed on your shoulder. "(Name), that's enough!"

You blink, looking back to glance at Mash. "That's 15 already, it's over," you sigh, letting go of Silva and stepping back, kicking the dirt. "But I didn't even get to play enough!" You pout, holding your blouse and looking down. "Now it's my turn, maybe you could heal that wound on your face, it's bleeding," Mash says, pointing to the small cut on your cheek before walking over to Silva, who was already standing.

You open your handheld mirror, looking at your exposed 4 lines with makeup and your hair, and the cut that the boy had made, then you notice your appearance looking more masculine.

"What..?"

Looking into the mirror several times to see that masculine appearance, you start to panic. "WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!! Well, actually..." You pause for a moment, observing the magic lines blending well with your masculine face. "Well, actually, I look handsome like this, focus!" You were about to go grab the wand when you stopped to think. "I guess I have to hide my magic lines first with makeup before casting the spell."

Taking the powder from the mirror, you used your finger to conceal your magical lines, sighing as you looked to see only one line as it has always been. Pulling out the stolen wand, you try to cast a spell, only to watch the wood of the wand start to swell and before you realize it, it explodes and breaks. "Ah..."

You turn to look at Mash while still holding the exploded and broken wand. Mash, who was looking at Silva kneeling on the ground, didn't notice you approaching him.

"H-heroine..?" You look down, noticing Dot looking at you, his expression showing surprise and even shock.

Turning your own face, you look down only to see that your comfortable male pants had turned into a skirt, which makes you open your mirror again and look, sighing in relief before looking at Dot.

"You're a complete idiot..." You say, looking seriously at Dot, who looks down. You then raise the hand holding the mirror and point at the boy. "I WON'T FORGIVE YOU FOR STEALING MY TURN!" You say through gritted teeth. Dot seems to be hurt and looks down as if he's made a huge mistake. "But you gave me entertainment! So congratulations," Dot seems to look at you hopefully, but you just turn around and go to Mash.

"She... she... SHE'S A TOTAL TSUNDERE!!!" Dot thinks, smiling, unaware of you, holding the exploded wand and placing it in the hand of the girl who was unconscious on the ground.

Chapter 35: EP.34

Chapter Text

"Mash, are you okay? You look all beaten up!" Lemon says worriedly, glancing at Mash's bruised face. "It's nothing," Mash replies, his eyes scanning the group, landing momentarily on you. You, however, were frowning deeply, clearly upset about not being able to toy with and beat up Silva more. Lance, noticing your sour mood, pulls you into a hug, gently patting your head. "That damned protagonist kid!" you murmur into Lance's shirt, and he just stands there, smiling softly while continuing to stroke your hair."As I thought, she never changes," Lance thinks, his smile faltering a little as he shifts his gaze to Mash.

"So, you ended up fighting Silva from the second year?" Mash nods in agreement, making Finn smile brightly. "That's awesome, Mash! You even defeated a scorpion that was worth two silver coins!"

"My fun~," you murmur sadly while Lance continues to pat your head."You did all this for me, didn't you?" Lemon says, looking at Mash while daydreaming, lost in her own world. "I'm sorry, no, thank you! Let's go to the infirmary!"Mash turns his face to look at Dot in the distance, remembering the girl mocking Dot. "What a loser, what a ridiculous boy."Mash kept looking at Dot.

"Hey, are you okay? Look, I'm sorry about (name)," Dot turned around in surprise to see Lemon, who averted her gaze to look at you. You were peeking at Dot with only one eye, the other half of your face still hidden in Lance's chest."She's always like this. I'm sure she's not mad at you," Lemon said, looking adorable. Dot shifted his gaze from Lemon back to you, hearing her words. In his view, you hid your face in embarrassment against Lance's chest when Dot caught you looking at him. An imaginary cupid's arrow pierced Dot's eye as he felt his heart skip a beat, metaphorically spitting blood.

"ARGH!!!! YARGH!!!!" Dot screamed, clutching his eye and shaking his head wildly, startling Lemon."EEEEH?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM?! SO SCARY! SOMEONE HELP ME HERE!!!" Lemon shouted, panicking.]

"Stop biting me!" Lance scolded you as you bit into his shirt, glaring angrily."She looks like an angry cat," Finn thought as he watched you, almost growling at Lance."Aaaah, (Name)!" Lemon shouted, quickly running towards you and grabbing your arm, which was holding Lance's waist, leaving only the other free."Mushroom head," Mash said, looking at Dot, who had his back turned to him. "Hey, sorry for getting you involved in that whole situation."

"How cute..." Mash said, still with his neutral expression, making Dot shocked."AAAAH! SHUT UP! OR I'LL KILL YOU! I WAS HERE, DYING OF EMBARRASSMENT, TRYING TO TALK TO YOU! SERIOUSLY, DON'T MESS WITH ME, YOU JERK!!" Dot yelled, his face red with frustration.

"I don't want to mess anyone up," Mash says as Dot glares at him furiously, causing Mash to look away."I'LL KILL YOU!"

"You were the target, Mash!" Lance says, causing Dot and Mash to stare at him."I overheard that somewhere by accident," Lance says, approaching Mash."The Lang House is hunting for coins and aiming at the Adler House. That second-year Silva must have picked a fight with you because of that."

"Lang..." Mash seems to be trying to remember the name, while Lance continued his explanation."The Lang House is made up of the high society and their friends, they're snobbish, they value birthrights, and they'll do anything to prevent commoners like us from entering the magic cabin," Lance explains.Everyone seems to ponder Lance's words, feeling a bit uneasy."And it seems like it's already starting, the war for coins waged by the elite of the Lang House, the Lupus Magic," Lance says, now making everyone a bit frightened.

"Lupus magic... I used to come up with names like that when I was around 12," Mash says, making everyone look at him, leaving the boy just blinking his eyes in confusion."Okay then..." you say before noticing a glow on Mash's pants, making everyone look at it.
Mash then looks to see the pocket of his pants, pulling out a gold coin from there, which was shining so brightly that you hid behind Finn just to avoid being blinded."One coin from the guy with a piercing, and two I got from the giant scorpion, along with five silver coins, I now have one gold," Mash says, looking impressed at the coin in his hand.

You also feel something in your pocket, and upon retrieving it, you find a silver coin. Forgetting that Mash was using the coin's glow to locate Dot, you instead look at your own coin in confusion."H-how did I get this?! Did I do something?" Lance, seeing your confused and frightened expression, decides to put his hand over yours, covering the coin. "You probably fought with two or three scorpions.""But weren't the scorpions worth bronze?" Finn, Lance, and Lemon look at you as you blink, seeming to have forgotten about the scorpions. I mean, you survived against two without a wand, while only thinking about killing Lance for losing your wand."Don't mind... I remembered," you say, averting your gaze and pocketing the silver coin, which was only a step away from becoming gold.

Chapter 36: EP.35

Chapter Text

"Then we have separate accommodations?" Mash asks, turning to look at Lance while you already stowed the coin inside your coat.

"Of course they are separate, Mash," Lance says as if it were obvious, making Finn break out in a cold sweat.

"You know we were selected at the beginning of the school year, right?"

Mash then seems to think, "Now that you mention it."

Mash then has a small flashback, remembering a unicorn skeleton and one of the teachers explaining the situation in more detail.

"Now let's separate the new students into their accommodations," the teacher explained while pulling out a paper to read from.

"You will touch the unicorn's horn, and through its powers, it will read your minds to see which house suits you." The teacher then revealed the skeleton, which was staring straight ahead.

"Now, to begin... Egalt Vandom."

"Here!" the student responds, approaching the skeleton and carefully holding its horn, making it speak, "Yes... yes... I sense ambition in you, combined with wisdom."

"You are best suited for the Orca dormitory." The student cheers happily, bowing in thanks. "Yay! Thank you, unicorn!"

The teacher then watches the student descend before pulling out the paper and reading the next name.

"Next, Alben Smith!" The student steps up again. "Here!" Holding the unicorn's horn, it begins to murmur.

"Yes... yes... fearless courage and an innovative spirit, the Adler dormitory is for you." And so it continues, with the teacher calling out names and each student stepping up to the unicorn, which gives its assessment.

"Hm, you have powerful magical abilities, radical ideas, and a challenging nature. To the Lang dormitory you go!" The unicorn speaks as it watches the girl walk away, leaving everyone else waiting for their turn.

"Hehe, for centuries I've done this job. I never make mistakes. Always reading the most hidden thoughts of people, I always get it right!" the unicorn thinks, mentally boasting about its ability. "Next is Mash Burnedead!"

"Okay," Mash says as he approaches, climbing the pillar and grabbing the unicorn's horn. To the unicorn's surprise, upon looking into the boy's mind, it only sees Mash surrounded by profiteroles, causing the unicorn to sweat, despite being a skeleton.

"Oops, I need to hold on," Mash says, gripping the unicorn's horn a bit more firmly, causing a small crack to appear.

"Ugh," the unicorn says, sweating coldly as it stares at the boy.

"Wow, this kid only thinks about profiteroles. What's his deal? Doesn't he have anything else in his head besides that?" The unicorn then looks at Mash, observing the boy's idiotic expression.

"There has to be something more in his head, right? Seriously, what is he thinking...? Wait a minute, is he drooling?"

Incredulous, the unicorn keeps looking at Mash, who is now cross-eyed and staring at himself while drool drips from his mouth.

"I can't throw in the towel. I've classified students for hundreds of years; I've never been without an answer! Let's try again!"

The unicorn then tries once more to read Mash's mind, but all it can see is Mash lying on thousands of profiteroles, saying, "Too good," with the sound of angels playing in the background. The unicorn remains silent for a moment before beginning to speak.

"While profiteroles have a gently toasted outer shell, inside they are filled with cream. Some, like the choux au craquelin, have a hard shell and a sticky center. In this way, profiteroles represent someone who is strong but remains gentle inside. Therefore..."

"IS HE JUST SAYING A BUNCH OF RANDOM STUFF?!" the students shout after hearing the unicorn's words, but that doesn't stop it from finishing.

"THE PASTRY LOVER GOES TO ADLER!!" the unicorn yells, with only Mash nodding in agreement.

"Alright then," Mash says, already climbing down from where he was, leaving some students shocked by the situation.

"WHERE'S THE LOGIC?!"

"That's exactly what happened," Mash says as everyone looks at him.

"So it was Mash that went through that," Dot and Finn think as they look at him, a bit surprised.

"Did that really happen?" you and Lance ask after witnessing Mash's flashback.

Chapter 37: EP.36

Chapter Text

"So it was Mash who bugged the skeleton unicorn!" you think as a small flashback comes to mind.

You were climbing the stairs after your name was called, followed by Mash's. You were just looking around before you noticed the skeleton unicorn, holding its horn."Damn, I've never seen a skeleton unicorn before. It's beautiful even though it's just bones. Actually..." you run your hand up and down the unicorn's horn. "Imagine if it stabbed someone in the chest with this horn! That would be cool."

"...?" The unicorn stares at your face while you smile maliciously."It would stab the chests of all humans while its equine scream made them tremble in fear."

"My goodness..." the unicorn thinks, while sifting through your mind. It opens its mouth, about to speak."And finally, with its army, it could kill everyone and become the most powerful beings in these lands!!! Man... I really need to stop reading so many books, but that would make a good story... I think I'll write a book!""House lan- ADLER!!!"

You continued to look down, immersed in your thoughts."I wonder where that unicorn is now..." your attention is called, pulling you out of your thoughts and memories.

"Cough... cough..." Lance begins, drawing your attention back to him. "The Lang elite, the Lupus magic, are a group of seven talented students. The guy with the piercing must be one of their lackeys. They collect coins to influence who will become the Divine Visionary. That's why you've become a target. Keep your distance from them and always stay with a dormitory companion whenever you can."Lance says this while looking seriously at Mash."Okay, I will," Mash responds, looking at everyone but mostly at Lance, making him sigh.

"He won't make it," you think, looking at Mash, feeling the sweat trickle down your face as you also sigh, before placing your hands on your hips."Why do I feel like something bad is going to happen?" you wonder, just before feeling a hand on your shoulder. Turning, you find Finn's hand, and he looks at you before turning to look at Mash. You notice Finn is also sweating nervously as he watches Mash."He's going to get lost, I'm sure of it," Finn thinks while looking at Mash. However, Lance's warning was in vain, and Mash ended up getting lost in the school...

"Mash shouldn't be here, right?" you ask Finn, who is just sweating nervously.

"Oops, I got lost," Mash says while walking down the school corridor. "Wait, where is the next class again?" Mash asks himself before looking ahead and seeing a double door down the corridor, stopping in front of it."I think it's here. Is this door a push or pull?" Mash puts his hand on his chin, pondering how to enter."In the end, I always get it wrong anyway, so should I pull or push?"

"M-Me sorry! I-I feel so terrible," Silver says, kneeling on the ground, feeling nervous and desperate."You said you wanted to join the group, and that's why Master Abel gave you a chance, and on top of that, let Adler House take your coin," said one of the Lang House members next to Silver, looking at him over his glasses."JUST ONE MORE! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE—" Silver screams desperately but is interrupted by Abel, who turns to look sideways at the boy on the ground."You're wrong, 'giving him a chance' makes it seem like I expected something from him." Silver falls silent as the boy standing next to him scratches his head. "Yeah, true, my bad."

"Only the chosen ones can influence this world—the best education, the greatest talents, the purest bloodlines," Abel says, caressing the doll in his hands. The boy next to Silver moves to stand beside the other Lang House members, listening carefully to Abel."We are collecting coins to create a world free from impurities," Abel continues. At this moment, Silver feels his face starting to harden. "But what about you? You're not even worthy as a sacrifice for our cause."
"GUH!" Silver looks in fear at his hands, which are hardening and transforming."Pathetic wretch, you have my sympathy. It must be hard to keep living knowing you're worth nothing," Abel says coldly as the creaking sounds are heard while Silver tries to speak but fails as his body continues to transform. "But don't worry, you don't need to think about such things anymore."Now fully transformed into a doll, Silver falls to the ground before standing up and walking over to join the other dolls, standing still and silent among them."I must be the Divine Visionary, not some lowly Adler trash, right, Mommy?" Abel says as he caresses the doll in his hands and looks at the wall. "A world free from impurities will be mine..."
"Oops!" A loud crash sounds as Mash breaks the door, making everyone look at him. "I wasn't sure if it was a pull or a push door, sorry for breaking it," Mash says as he starts to walk in, carrying the broken door in his hands. "You know you're talking to a doll, right?"
"Thank you for the heads-up..." Abel says, looking at Mash who is holding the door.

Chapter 38: EP.37

Chapter Text

After the joint outdoor class between Lang House and Adler House, Mash obtained a gold coin. Despite Lance's warnings, Mash got lost in the academy and somehow ended up in the center of Lang House, where the headquarters of Lupus Magic is located. Mash accidentally entered there, breaking the door.

"You're welcome," Mash says, looking at Abel, who now turns to look at Mash from the top of the stairs. "You’re the first-year student who possesses a gold coin," Abel says, looking at Mash while stroking the doll in his hands. "That’s me!" Mash says, still holding the door he broke.

"Why do you... wish to become a Divine Visionary?" Mash lowers his gaze, remaining silent for a few minutes before responding to the boy, "I want to live in peace with my family."

"What a magnificent answer..." Abel says, looking down before raising his gaze and looking at Mash, completing his speech, "but you are mistaken! The Divine Visionaries are the artisans of our world; they are the vessels of God's divinity, and you... you do not have the vigor in those muscles to be a creator deity."

"And do you?" Mash's response left Abel silent for a few minutes before he spoke again, this time with more seriousness in his voice than before. "I would return this world to its rightful form. Do you know why humanity prospered?" Abel's question echoed in the room, with his members remaining quiet and listening to their lord's words. But before Mash could even think of responding, Abel quickly continued and answered his own question. "It was because we tirelessly stole from those weaker than us. But look at society now, sheltering the weak, fighting for equality, encouraging compassion—it's absurd!" Abel's words made Mash feel a negative emotion, but at the same time, he had a sense that, for some reason, if someone were watching from the shadows, those eyes would be filled with anger. "They have turned a blind eye to reality. We are animals by nature. In all species, the strong take advantage of the weak until they are eliminated. That is how we, the superior ones, prosper—it is natural." Silence settled in the room.

Holding the potion vial in her hand, it soon breaks, making Finn tremble with fear. "What happened?""I have no idea, but my instincts are telling me that some bastard opened their damn mouth."

"I see, in summary: you also want to live in peace with your family?" Silence followed Mash's words, leaving the members of Lupus Magic staring at him in disbelief."What is this kid talking about?" said the girl with pink pigtails, looking at and listening to Mash, to which the boy with green hair beside her replied, "Did he not pay attention to anything?"

"I'll consider that a hostile act," Abel says, before Mash bows, still holding the door. "It wasn't my intention, I apologize.""Oh? Then I'll allow you to leave if you give me your gold coin."Mash just looks at Abel with a neutral expression. "That's not going to happen."Abel doesn't show it, but inside he seems to be getting irritated. "I see... however... you do not have the right to refuse." A puppet behind Abel, pinned to the wall, begins to move before heading toward Mash and attacking him forcefully.

Mash manages to dodge by crouching down before seeing what actually attacked him. "A puppet?" Mash says, before performing a small somersault, catching the puppet with his legs and throwing it forcefully. It hits the ground and bursts into smoke, revealing it to be a student, Silver—the same one who attacked Mash and was turned into a puppet a short while ago.

Standing up, Mash turns to look at Abel. "Was that supposed to be a challenge?"Incredulous at Mash's attitude, Abel sends out another puppet, this time catching Mash off guard as it grabs Mash’s ankle and quickly restrains his hands, leaving him exposed."This wooden puppet has been working out," Mash says, before seeing the puppet use one of its extra hands to reach into Mash's shirt and pull out a gold coin. The puppet flicks the coin towards Abel, who catches it in mid-air.

The puppet then throws Mash with force towards a pillar, breaking the pillar but not entirely."I will make good use of this coin," Abel says, holding the coin firmly in his hands. As the smoke dissipates, Mash, sitting on the ground, looks up at Abel before standing up."I take back what I said; this is challenging," Mash says as he walks and accidentally steps on something, looking down to see Silver, the same student from before. "Hmm? Almost killed the pierced guy with a stomp."Mash then bends down, picks up Silver, and puts him on his shoulders, carrying him. "I’ll take him to the infirmary."

Abel is a bit shocked before saying in his monotone voice, "Are you giving up your coin?"Abel watches as Mash carries Silver out of the room. "No... but this is a priority at the moment. Besides..." Mash stops, turning to look over his shoulder at Abel. "No matter how much strength you have, if it comes to a fight, you’ll lose."Mash’s words leave all the members in shock, looking at him as if he were some kind of fool."Hmm?" Abel questions what the boy is saying, watching as Mash disappears from the room. "Now, if you’ll excuse me..."

"How can he be so confident? Is he just a fool? ... Something doesn't seem right..." Abel quickly looks at his puppet, focusing on something specific—a missing button on his puppet."Wait, there's a missing button," Abel says, opening his hand to find the missing button, shocked by what he sees.

"I saw it happen, but I can't believe it. First, the marionette took the coin, then the mushroom-head guy took something from him..." The Lang House member thinks while still in surprise, reflecting on the events. "He spat with incredible speed and grabbed the coin back, sucking it in using the power of his lungs," the girl looks down, still in shock. "I mean... that's what I saw... right?"The girl doesn't notice her leader already looking angrily at the broken door through which the boy had passed and left. "Interesting..."

"That was close..." Mash says, looking at the coin in his hands before glancing at the unconscious boy on his shoulders. "But really, what was this guy doing lying on the ground? He passed out..."Mash drags the boy's body, putting the coin back in his pocket. "I have to take him to the infirmary."

Chapter Text

In the infirmary, Silva woke up in a start, now fully aware of his current situation and in complete shock. "I'm human again," he muttered, scratching his head in utter confusion. "I can't remember anything after becoming a doll... how did I—?" Silva's thoughts were abruptly interrupted when he glanced to the side, seeing Mash there, working out at an incredibly intense speed. The sight both shocked and scared him. "W-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" he shouted in disbelief.

"Working on my external obliques," Mash replied, breaking the silence in the room. Silva, somewhat bewildered, nodded slowly. "Oh... okay." But then, as Silva looked at Mash, he realized something and asked, "Wait, if you're here, then it was you who rescued me?"

Mash's workout speed was astonishing, and Silva could only agree, impressed. "That's right," Mash confirmed.

"But why? I was your enemy!" Silva exclaimed, recalling the moment he fought Mash. Mash stood up, remembering the same event. "Well, it's just that when one of us is in trouble, we all—" At that moment, Mash accidentally bit his own tongue, quickly covering his mouth with his hand to hide it. "My tongue... I almost bit it off!" Silva could only sweat nervously as he looked at Mash. "Oh, really? That's something."

After that small incident, Mash returned to normal, grabbing his neatly folded school uniform from the bed and putting it on. "Since you're okay now, I'll be heading out. Take care!" Mash said as he walked away, leaving Silva staring at the spot where Mash had been. "T-thanks," Silva muttered, looking at his hand before sighing and gazing down at his lap. "One of us, huh? Damn, that kid..."

Meanwhile, in room 302 of the Adler dormitory, Lance was sitting in a chair, looking seriously at Dot, who was also seated in front of him. "What do you think you're doing in this room? And what's with that hair of yours?" Lance asked, raising his head with an air of superiority.

"Could you stop stealing my lines?! And I bet (Name) likes guys with bangs, so I styled it to look good!" Dot retorted, embarrassed as he averted his gaze. "COULD YOU TWO STOP FIGHTING IN MY ROOM?!" Finn shouted, looking desperately at Dot and Lance, who were glaring at each other with pure hatred. "Let them be, Finn, I'm having a great time watching this," you said, sitting on Finn's bed and munching on popcorn that was in your lap. "YOU'RE NOT HELPING AT ALL, (NAME)!!" Finn exclaimed, turning to look at you.

"Yeah, that's right, I get it. You've got a face most guys would kill for, easily in the top 75%, and you're tall too. I know how easy your life must be! On easy mode!" Dot thought as he stared at Lance before standing up. "My disgust for being here with you is at 500%! Get out of this room now, you jerk!" Dot shouted, giving Lance the middle finger as he expressed his deep disdain. "This room is mine!!" Finn yelled, making you laugh. "Hahaha! Keep going, you two!""YOU'RE REALLY NOT HELPING AT ALL, (NAME)!!!" Finn thought, looking at you in shock.

"I'm already pissed just looking at your smug face! I get so mad just seeing pretty boys like you!" Dot shouted angrily, pointing at Lance, who also stood up from his chair. "I hate people who lack any class, maybe I'll make you disappear without anyone missing you.""Huh?" Finn looked surprised at the two guys in front of him.

"Yay!! I'm rooting for Lance!!" You cheered with excitement as you watched the two boys draw their wands. Dot gritted his teeth in anger. "Fine, I'll make you wake up with your mouth full of ants." Finn tried to say something but couldn't, only watching as the two drew their wands. "Then bring it on.""Maybe this will make you realize that the girl you dream about already has someone better than you," Lance thought as he glanced behind Dot, seeing you excited about the fight while finishing the popcorn you'd asked Lance to make a while ago.

"A fight?... Wait... what?... I have to... oh my God... IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KILL EACH OTHER!! DO IT OUTSIDE!!!" Finn shouted in desperation before a noise made everyone look over. They turned to see Mash ripping the door open as he entered the room. "He's right, you might break something in here; you can fight outside." Finn and Dot just sighed.

"Oh, the sweet scent of Mash's hypocrisy," Finn and Dot thought in unison as they looked at Mash, not noticing you laughing hysterically on Finn's bed at what had happened. Lance, meanwhile, was looking at you seriously.

Chapter 40: EP.39

Chapter Text

"GUYS, NOW WE'RE SCREWED! NOW WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM!" Lemon shouted as she burst through the door, looking like she had run to get there as fast as possible. Her tone was one of shock before she stopped and looked at the boys in front of her. "Four men... one of me..." Lemon muttered, hugging herself in embarrassment. "You perverts!!" Lemon yelled as you got up from Finn's bed. "And me?" "WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, YOU CAME IN HERE ON YOUR OWN!" Finn shouted at Lemon before she suddenly remembered something. "Oh right! Come with me, all of you!"

"Trouble?" you asked, already on your feet, following everyone down the hallway until you arrived at a balance scale inside a glass case. "What is this?" Dot asked, looking at the scale with nothing but confusion. "This magic scale shows how many gold coins each dormitory has. Look closely, the Lang dorm has most of the gold coins, and we only have one, which is Mash's. Lang believes in an exclusionary system where only the purest are on top. If this continues, they'll be the ones choosing the Divine Visionary this year." Lemon finished, and you finally began to grasp the situation, stepping forward to stand beside her, placing a hand on your chin.

"Orca cares more about scientific studies than the competition, so that means... it's up to us, Adler dormitory, to do something, right?" Lemon nodded in agreement with your response, while you now looked at the scale seriously.
"Lemon is doing her best to explain the situation, and (Name)'s attitude helping with this is just making her even hotter. Oh man, I'm falling in love..." Dot thought as he nodded and felt a bit of blood drip from his nose. Lemon then jumped in front of Mash, all cheerful, with a cute tone in her voice. "I'm counting on you, Mash!"
"WHAT?!" Dot screamed in Mash's face, while Mash just nodded in agreement with Lemon.

"I see... we have to take out Lang for my plan to succeed," Lance said, stepping forward to stand beside you as he looked at the scale, holding a cord in one hand while the other rested on your shoulder.
"Seems that way," Mash said, adjusting the bands on his wrists, looking straight ahead where Lance and you stood.
"YES, LET'S KILL THEM ALL!" Dot shouted, loosening his tie, before Finn looked at them and said, "Good luck with that."

"These muscles will flex in the name of peace..."

"Though I tacitly approve of your actions, my position requires that I offer you some form of mild punishment... therefore, you'll clean the owl hut for a week, hohoho!" Mash found himself in the hut, holding a broom and bucket, surrounded by owls pecking and biting his head. "So much effort, and this is where I end up! I was motivated," Mash said as he stared forward, his head twitching from the owls' pecks. Standing in the doorway was Lance, in all his glory.
"I came to help," said the blue-haired boy as he approached Mash.
"But why?"

"Hmph, it's simple! Lang is after coins, which makes you a target. I plan to be here when they come," Lance said seriously, stepping closer until he stood directly in front of Mash.
"You care about me that much?"

"Don't make me kill you," Lance replied, not noticing two people approaching the hut. They were members of Lang, one holding a ring with several spikes attached, the other with incredible muscles but a bizarre expression.
"Olor, did you know?" asked the one holding the ring to his companion, who only murmured in acknowledgment.
"Once time passes, it never returns."

"Yeah, everyone knows that. Please stop acting like you're making some deep statement; it's a waste of time," the taller one said as cracking sounds were heard. "Now, shall we go collect more gold coins?" he added, walking toward the hut, followed by his companion.
"No one can stop the flow of time."

Chapter 41: EP.40

Chapter Text

"(Name)!!!!!!" You hear a voice before feeling someone slap your back, knocking your favorite light novel—the latest release—onto the dusty floor. Your face twists in horror, and with an overly dramatic expression, you crouch down, carefully picking up the novel and brushing off invisible dust before clutching it to your chest, murmuring apologies. You then turn your head with a murderous glare, ready to kill the perpetrator... only to see Lemon rubbing her head sheepishly before meeting your irritated (but not homicidal) gaze.

"(NAME)!!!" Lemon shouts again. You ignore her, turning away to resume walking while opening your precious novel. "What do you want…?" you mutter, annoyed. Lemon dashes to your side. "It's—it's Tom!!" You pause, trying to remember who Tom is, then shrug and keep reading—until Lemon yanks your coat.

"(NAME)!!! PLEASE!!" She keeps tugging, then steps in front of you, spins you around, and shoves you forward. You stumble but never look up from your book... until you finally lift your eyes to see a exhausted-looking boy. "B...Bambu..?" You return to reading, ignoring him, and sit on a bench with your novel.

"I'LL GET THE OTHERS!!!" Lemon yells. You wave her off and flip a page, smiling as you read.

"She really doesn’t care…?" Tom wonders, watching you chuckle at the book, a faint blush on your cheeks.

Minutes later, Lemon returns with Lance and Mash, who stare at Tom—pale and drained. Lance glances at Tom, then at you, lounged in a chair beside the injured boy’s bed, utterly absorbed in your novel. Tom weakly addresses the trio: "How are you? Bamboo-zing along?" Mash blinks. "Even his catchphrase sounds tired."

Lemon frets sweetly, "What happened? You look awful."

"THAT’S THE THING... I DON’T REMEMBER. I woke up here..." Tom mutters, staring at his lap. "No dreams. Just blackout nights where I pass out and boom—morning."

Then, a flicker of memory: "I dreamed I was trapped... in a dark box." He recalls an invisible prison, conscious but voiceless. "It lasted hours... What a nightmare."

Mash nibbles a profiterole pulled from his coat. "The Captain’s in shock... He needs a profiterole."

Tom lifts his hands, trembling. "I can’t use magic right now. Barely feel any power left... Like it was drained." Lance nods grimly, eyeing the infirmary full of exhausted students. "Why so many patients?"

"They lost their magic too. Right when the headmaster was summoned by the Magic Department..." Tom sighs.

"DAMN... That’s rough," you remark, flipping a page—until Lance snatches the book. You leap up, chair nearly toppling. "LANCE! GIVE IT BACK, ASSHOLE!"*

He shakes the novel. "Read later. We’ve got people to beat up." That grabs your attention. As he returns it, you hug the book and grin darkly. "Now you’re talking! Who’re we killing?"

Lance smirks. "We go at night."

11 HOURS AFTER LIGHTS OUT: Mash, Lance, and you walked through the dark school corridors, your footsteps and voices the only noise in that silent place.

"I'm sure Magic Lupus is behind this... what I think is—" Lance said confidently as they walked, with Mash on his right side stopping to look at the blue-haired boy.

"Can we really be walking around school at this hour?"

Lance stopped, turning to look at Mash. You paused and turned your face to Mash, smiling gently even though your words were the complete opposite:

"Ah Mash, it's just that the night is so dark and shadowy that even when we break Magic Lupus' bones and faces until they bleed, it'll be hard to see! Isn't that great?!"

Lance looked at you, sighing before turning to Mash. "You're such a goody two-shoes."

Mash blinked as Dot and Finn appeared behind the dark-skinned boy.

"IF WE GET CAUGHT, WE'LL APOLOGIZE!" Dot yelled angrily, with Finn crying "I'M AFRAID OF BEING ALONE!"

Lance let out a sigh, turning completely to the boys. "Why are you two here?"

"BECAUSE I WANT COINS, DUMBASS!" Dot yelled, flipping Lance off with his middle finger. "I DON'T WANT TO STAY IN THE ROOM ALONE!" Finn said with fear in his voice, trembling as he cried. "GET IT?" Dot snapped, glaring at Lance while shaking his head like a delinquent trying to intimidate.

"I feel bad for them. Let's take them with us," Mash said, looking at Lance while Finn cried behind him. Lance looked at Mash, thinking "I'm not sure about this..."

You looked at the boys before walking over to Finn with a gentle smile. Dot watched you, imagining you'd come to him - until his face fell when you hugged and comforted Finn instead. "Don't worry Finn, you don't need to be afraid. We're just going to massacre some students, no big deal."

Finn trembled in fear while hugging you. "Now I don't know if I'm more afraid of being alone or of you," Finn thought, feeling Dot's murderous glare behind him. Dot was grinding his teeth, turning his head angrily that the coward had gotten attention from his supposed "romantic partner."

Before he could react further, Dot suddenly noticed something ahead and shouted while pointing: "HEY! DO YOU SEE THAT?!"

Everyone looked forward to see Lemon walking. "And Lemon. She's cute from every angle," Dot said, blushing as he looked at her. Finn moved further away from Dot, clinging tighter to you instead.

You looked at Lemon confused before shouting: "Hey! Lemon! What are you-" Your mouth was covered by Lance, who looked at the blonde girl suspiciously. "Something's wrong..."

The blonde then began contorting stiffly, her face turning doll-like. Luckily everyone hid behind a wall, with Lance holding you by the waist and covering your mouth, while Finn hugged you fearfully - his mouth also covered by you. When it finally passed, you removed your hand from Finn's mouth (he quickly moved away), and Lance then removed his hand from yours.

"It's okay, that's just magic!" Lance says just as Finn turns to look down the hallway. "Wait... she's going somewhere..." But then he starts running. "After her!"

Everyone follows Finn as he points to where the blonde was. "She went that way!" They all look until reaching a dead end, staring shocked at where Lemon should be. "What?!" you say in shock while looking around. "She disappeared," Mash says, blinking confused.

"HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN? IT'S A DEAD END!" Dot yells, just as a strange sound makes Finn look around before turning to the group. "Did- did any of you hear that?"

Dot looks at Finn confused. "No, I didn't hear anything." But then the sound comes again - cracking noises - and Finn screams in fear: "I DEFINITELY HEARD SOMETHING! LIKE WOOD CREAKING!"

An irritated Dot turns and yells back: "DON'T PUT THIS ON ME, DAMMIT!" When the sound repeats, even Dot hears it this time: "Okay I heard it! I just shit myself!"

With this, both Dot and Finn cling to you, trembling in fear. You can barely handle them squeezing you, especially Dot who's now getting a nosebleed.

"(NAAAAAAAME)!!!!" "KYAAAAAAH!" They both scream, and you swear you're getting a headache. You just raise your hand to pat Finn's head comfortingly while trying to push Dot away as he seems determined to bury his face in your chest.

"GET OFF ME, ASSHOLE! YOU'RE GETTING BLOOD ALL OVER MY SHIRT!"

Lance sighs grabbing his own wand "Stay calm. This is just a spell. DISCLOSE"

A streak of light appears on the floor before starting to form a shape revealing a door with symbols and writing on the wood that was on the ground. The boy then lowers his wand looking at the door "Revealing the door is the most my magic can do"

You sigh finally freeing yourself from the two's grip, who were staring shocked at the door "I could open it... if I had my wand!" you say looking at Lance angrily "I already apologized" you grumble crossing your arms before hearing a metallic sound, with everyone looking at Mash who was carrying armor, he laid it down on the floor, grabbing the sword, with his free hand he hits the ground, making the door jump slightly, and with the crack Mash quickly puts the sword inside supported by the armor, he then stands up and with his foot steps on the sword making the door go flying through the ceiling, making a hole until it flew out of the school, everyone looks shocked at the hole before looking at Mash "He used lever force..." Finn murmurs shocked "For this crazy guy, anything goes..." Dot says, while everyone stared in silence, before you speak excited "SO COOL! DO IT AGAIN!" you say clapping excitedly, before Lance lowers your hands, with everyone approaching the now open door "Lemon is in there" you say with Lance completing "And probably Magic Lupus too..." Mash then leads the way "Let's go..."
