[Podfic] Won't You Stay Awhile? (I'm Staring at a Ghost) by Sagacity

Summary:

Steve likes Luke’s.

 

He likes that it’s dark, and it’s loud, and he either blends in or people are polite or disinterested enough to pretend he does. Steve likes that Luke doesn’t need his help to keep order on the rare occasion someone gets rowdy. He likes drinking beer for the taste of it. Sometimes he meets the others here, but since Natasha’s taken up with Jessica Jones he hasn’t seen much of her. Clint and Bucky are in Iowa playing farmer boy, and Sam and Joaquin are still out in DC until the end of the month. It’s nice for now to be alone in a crowd, anonymous. The loud and the neon shadows are peaceful for a Brooklyn boy; alcohol and peanuts, game on the tv overhead. Steve can just drink his beer and think about nothing in particular.

Tonight he is thinking about something, in particular.
