How Much Does Jewel Sparkles Know Papa's Paleteria?

Summary:

Spot Splatter Splash quizzes Jewel Sparkles on Papa's Paleteria, and Spot sploshes Liezel with the press of a button every time Jewel gets a question wrong. (#6LFW24)

Notes:

Inspired by another video from the WAM treatment playlist: this clip I found from season 10 of the Ellen show where Lea Michele in a red dress gets four questions wrong and every wrong answer gets the audience member, Sophie, sploshed with flour, paint, cake mix and a blue slushie. In that clip this fanwork is based off, Lea felt so bad when she got each question wrong as Ellen kept teasing her. Lea was so sweet and talented in that one from what I seen.

Enjoy this Lalaloopsified version I put together!

Key:
Spot Splatter Splash - Ellen, the host of that quiz show
Jewel Sparkles - Lea Michele
Liezel - Audience member getting all the mess

Work Text:

Spot Splatter Splash was with Jewel Sparkles at 43 Times 24 Plus One Studios, hosting what seems to be some sort of messy game show. "Jewel Sparkles here plays a lot of Papa Louie games, and I remember the time I played Freezeria Deluxe with her which did not go well," Spot explained to the viewers. "I remember that time. At least you didn't go and destroy the table like Annoying Orange did," Jewel told Spot. "We thought we would test her, and Liezel is volunteering here to be our mess splatterer," Spot explained to the viewers as Liezel waved to them, wearing goggles and a pink bathing suit this time. "If you get it right, you'll hear this," Spot told Jewel as a ding sound was heard. "And if you get it wrong, you're gonna get a tiny bit messy, all right?" Spot asked Liezel. Liezel smiled and gave the viewers a thumbs up.

"Crumbs, are you gonna come out and reveal what we have?" Spot asked as Crumbs Sugar Cookie came out to show off what messy things would be used on Liezel. "All right, the first thing is white chocolate syrup, that would be the first thing that would happen to Liezel," Spot told the viewers as Crumbs opened that up. "The next thing is paint," Spot said as Crumbs opened that up to show seven little cups of colorful syrup that acts as the "paint." "Normally, someone up here would say 'oh no,' but I know I'm gonna enjoy all this," Liezel told the viewers as soon as she saw the paint. "The next thing is Splashberry Derps and the next thing is Maui Meringue," Spot told the viewers as Crumbs opened those up. The audience cheered at all the messy things that would be used to splosh Liezel if Jewel got the question wrong. "This is gonna be so messy," Liezel said as she saw that pile of Maui Meringue in the tin.

"All right, here we go, Jewel," Spot told Jewel to start the game off. "What is the final paleta dip unlocked in Papa's Paleteria?" Spot asked Jewel. "I don't know, I didn't get to rank 40 or whenever that dip is unlocked yet on my playthrough," Jewel answered. "Neither did I. It was Key Lime Dip, and Mayor Mallow unlocks it. Ready? Watch what you've done to Liezel over here, don't close your eyes," Spot told Jewel as Jewel tried to not look at the humiliation that she was gonna give Liezel up there. Spot pressed the first button on the catapult thing and a glob of white chocolate syrup got all over Liezel, as Liezel smiled at that.

"Okay, that's okay, she seemed to enjoy it. Oh my god, please let me get something right," Jewel said as she watched what Liezel got splattered with. Spot was ready to ask Jewel the next question. "On that same game, Papa's Paleteria To Go, what holiday is celebrated in March?" Spot asked Jewel. "I know it's unlocked at rank 51, I'm currently in the middle of Christmas I think on my current playthrough, but I never paid attention to the holiday icons while I was in the shop. Uhh..." Jewel was about to answer. "What holiday is celebrated in March in Papa's Paleteria?" Spot asked Jewel again. "Umm... I'm pretty sure it isn't Lucky Lucky Matsuri as it's a sweet game. Um, okay, let's just guess and say, so it's in March?" Jewel asked. "Mm-hmm," Spot answered. "Let's just say it's... St. Paddy's Day?" Jewel answered. "No, no, no, no. It's Holi," Spot said. "Oh, it's the colorful holiday? I'm sorry, Liezel, paint!" Jewel said as she was about to watch Liezel be splatted with syrup paint. Spot pressed a button which splattered Liezel with seven colors of edible syrup paint, which Liezel did enjoy just like the first mess.

"Sorry about that, Liezel," Spot said. "I didn't even get that far in Papa's Paleteria, maybe I need to pay more attention to the details of that game," Jewel said as she was preparing herself for what's about to be asked next. "All right, which one of the following drizzles is not a standard drizzle in Papa's Paleteria? A. Lemon Mist Drizzle, B. Watermelon Drizzle, C. Huckleberry Drizzle, D. Chamoy Drizzle," Spot asked Jewel. "What was the first one? Uh, maybe it's A," Jewel answered as the audience laughed at that response. "Then it was B," Jewel said. "No, they're all standard drizzles. I am so sorry, Liezel, she got the answer wrong again," Spot said as she pressed the button to catapult Splashberry Derps at Liezel. Liezel just threw the ones she was holding in response.

"What does she get, she gets a prize, right?" Jewel asked. "No, she gets nothing. Because of this, this is all to see. You said you knew things," Spot answered. "These are hard, I didn't even get too far in the game yet," Jewel said. "Which of the following is not a character that was first introduced in Papa's Paleteria? Gabitha, Seymour, Orion, Rithy," Spot asked. "Rithy. I don't recall unlocking him yet," Jewel answered. "No, it's Gabitha because she first appeared in Cluckeria, though not as a customer," Spot told Jewel. "Why did you-" Jewel was about to tell Spot as Spot pressed the button to get Maui Meringue all over Liezel next. "I'm sorry, Liezel, are you okay?" Jewel asked as she walked up to Liezel.

"I didn't get any of these four right," Jewel said as she walked back over to Spot. "You were a cruel, cruel person, Jewel. But, for being such a good sport, Liezel, and I know how much you love messes, so maybe I'll let you join in on the Spaghetti Day festivities for the next one I host!" Spot told Liezel. "Yes, you are!" Jewel told Liezel, adding to what Spot told her. Liezel, being the mess lover she is, got all happy about it and is really looking forward to what'll be coming this July 23, which will be a decade since the first Princess Spaghetti Day. "Keep up the good work on that Papa's Paleteria gameplay and try to pay more attention to details," Spot told Jewel to end off this crazy and messy Lalaloopsy episode.
