You groan, eyes opening slowly at the sound of a knock at your window.

”…n…… op.. up!” A voice slowly registers to you, sending you sitting up quickly.

A yelp is heard, along with the bang of your headboard.

”Shit!” You shout, eyes widening as you meet the confused gaze of the one and only Steve Harrington himself.

”…Is that..” He pauses, rubbing his head for a second before letting go of your waist,”Dustin?” 

You freeze, eyes darting around for a second before you stand up, throwing Steve’s shirt at him quickly.

”Crap.. Get that on and just, uhm, I don’t know..” You murmur, adjusting your hair before clasping the window open, flinching slightly as the cold hits your skin.

”Finally!” Dustin complains, getting off the ladder and slipping onto your windowsill.

You glare, pausing when you meet the eyes of Lucas below, who stands there sheepishly.

”What the hell were you doing?!” You ask, half-worried and half-pissed at his reckless behaviour.

”Just, you know.. I kinda need h—“ Dustin pauses, lips parting as he watches Steve emerge from your bathroom in sleeping-wear.

“Steve?!” He gasps, huffing when you whisper-shout about not waking mom up,”No way, dude! No freakin’ way!!”

”Hi, buddy.” Steve tries, laughing awkwardly, voice a little deep thanks to having just woken up.

”YOU’RE BANGING MY SISTER??” Dustin yells, quickly going silent when Steve pulls the door shut with a groan.

”I’m not banging y/n, okay?” He tries once more, emphasising on ‘banging’.

”Yeah and you just casually sleep over in my sister’s room?!” Comes the quick retort, his voice sounding almost offended at the idea.

”Yes!” You intercept, face red. 

“No way, I’m telling mom!” Dustin threatens, his reason for coming in so awkwardly long-forgotten.

”You little shit—“

”Hey, hey!” Steve calls out, arms crossed as he walks to your side,”What’d you come here so late for, anyway? And through the window?”

”I’m the one asking the questions here, you’re making moves on my older sister!” Dustin grumbles, shifting closer to you as he watches the man walk to your side.

”Okay, maybe, perhaps, I’m making moves on your sister bu—“

”I knew it!” Dustin points.

”Dustin.” You groan, taking one of his hands into yours,”We just.. hadn’t gotten round to telling you, alright?”

”You guys are..” He pauses, coughing as if the worst wouldn’t have been heard by his mother if she was in the room.

”Yeah.” You sigh, eyes going almost gentle,”Nobody knows yet, okay?”

”Except for Robin.” Steve chuckles,”We kinda suck at hiding..”

”What were you doing whilst hiding?” Dustin scrunches his nose up, quickly talking once more at the grin Steve wore,”Okay, no, don’t tell me.”

Steve chuckles once more, his hand moving to ruffle at your brother’s hair.

”Sorry you had to find out this way.” You mumble, letting go of Dustin’s hand carefully.

”…It’s whatever.” He grumbles, pausing before a grin of his own emerges,”Nothing a good $5 won’t fix.”

”Dustin! Don’t bribe and my boyfriend!” You yell, though it’s not too loud in an effort to not awaken your mother or any nosy neighbours. 

”Hey now, that’s illegal, ya know?” Steve points out, his arm moving to wrap around your waist once more.

”Ew, no touching while I’m near.” Dustin scrunches up his nose once more, shifting for a second before his eyes light up in remembrance.

“So what was all this for?” You ask, leaning into your boyfriend’s hold regardless of your brother’s previous complaints. 

“You remember Dart..?” He questions, looking a bit guilty.

”The demon dog that ate our cat?” You ask, gaze hardening a little.

”It’s Demo-Dog, sis!” He corrects, shrinking in on himself with a shy grin when Steve raises an eyebrow at the mention of those particular past events. 

“What about it?” He prompts.

”Uhm.. We kinda found another one nearby Lucas’s house with Erica.”

”And what did you do with it?” You pale.

”So you know that new shed their neighbours got?” 

“Dustin!” You and Steve yell at the same time.
