   Summary

   “Did you hear that?”

   Crowley nodded. “I did...” he said quietly, and Aziraphale could tell the demon was listening intently. “Aziraphale?”

   “Yes?”

   “Stay absolutely still.”

   Aziraphale stopped breathing. Fear filled his veins with ice. He did as he was told, and didn’t move a muscle, praying that whatever it was would leave them alone.

   Just beyond the clearing in the woods, right at the tree line, he could hear soft footfalls approaching. Something was coming.
