Summary
Yuuri and Victor hit it off so well at the banquet that they get married. The marriage is official thanks to Yuuri's legal gender and they proudly announce their loophole gay marriage on social media. Reality hits once they're sober: They need to figure out how to live their own lives while keeping up appearances and navigating the repercussions of being publicly out.

Yuuri looks up at the stranger in bed beside him and does a double-take. He stares, blinks slowly, and stares some more. “I might still be drunk.”
Victor Nikiforov smiles at him. He looks absolutely exhausted and his hair, which Yuuri has only ever seen neatly styled, sticks up in all different directions. “I assure you, we are both sober, hungover, and in lots of trouble.” He shifts from the edge of the bed until he’s sitting beside Yuuri, his back to the pillows, and hands over a piece of paper.
It looks like an official certificate, but Yuuri can’t read any of it except for Victor’s name, which is the only Cyrillic he cared to learn. “I don’t know Russian.”
Victor points at his own name. “That’s my name.” Then another spot. “That’s your name.” His finger falls lower. “And that’s the part that declares us to be married.”
