Summary
Having been brought up unbeknownst to his biological father after the crushed rebellion, so far away from home, by the grim but just Randyll Tarly, Maron has developed a much wider moral compass, which included compassion, regret, and devotion to the family. Hence, learning that his little brother is locked away somewhere, tortured and humiliated, becomes determined not only to bring him home but to do something no Greyjoy has ever done before.
