Chapter 2: Inktober Day 13:Rise

Chapter Text

Skyshatter awoke harshly, not knowing he was temporarily offline. His wide optics skittered as he tried to stall the rising panic at the harsh emptiness of his surroundings. He stood, observing his foreign location of lush dark not quite ferns and odd oblique towers of some organic origin. Wings sagged as it dawned on him that he was truly fragged. But still, he sought out his trine and received only the static noise and feeling of a bond cut off by distance or time. While he does enjoy free reign over his scientific experiments, Skyshatter doesn’t enjoy the vulnerability of having no in-built weapons to defend himself from any being who thinks he’s fair game.
His spark whirled anxiously as he sought out a perfect spot to not cower like a lost newly-forged calm down and think up a plan to get back to earth(or his correct time, dimension, universe etc) He sought refuge in the shadows of the strange towers of organic mesh as the orange sun of this system sunk down. Skyshatter thought of taking a light recharge but the sudden appearance of a large organic quadrapod beast whose beady eye stared unthinkingly at the seeker. Startled by said creature, Skyshatter sprung to his pedes with his wings so firmly and suddenly snapped up that the gears in the joints screeched. His reaction seemed to faze the creature as it released a low warning and moved to assess the sudden threat.
Backing up, Skyshatter lit up his thrusters and flew upwards. He flew in his root mode for a while before deciding he’d rather be lost in space than this strange planet and switched forms. His sleek alt mode cutting past the strange green clouds of this planet.
