“Măreților, ascultați glasul nostru, împreună cu reverență.”
She could not raise her voice above a whisper.

She was on her hands and knees now, legs unable to bear her own weight. The snow was unforgiving, each flake a tiny dagger against her skin.

Her tears seemed to freeze upon her face, arms shaking as she attempted to crawl through the snow. The forest was a labyrinth of shadows, each movement a herculean effort.
