Chapter 1: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐠𝐞

Chapter Text

If you ever wondered what happens when Anti-fairies come to a child, you're at the right place. This story follows a young girl named Chloe Carmichael.

Chloe is a cheerful, brave, intelligent and optimistic girl who intends to make her life goal to aid anyone in need.To her, kindness is always the answer to any problem.Even willing to forgive 'some people' who would try to rule the world.

Her and her parents just moved to a town called Dimmsdale.Their car behind the moving truck with all of their stuff inside. As they arrived at their new home, her mother, Connie opened the truck with the worker while her father, Clark unlocked the door to their new home.

Chloe got out of the car curious of the town, but sad that she had to move. And most of you know what it's like to move away and never see your friends again we may have all been there, even myself.

"Chloe, can you help me bring the boxes to our home?",Her mother called.

"Yes Mom!", said Chloe.

As Chloe helped her mom bring the boxes into their new house, she couldn't shake a nagging feeling of uncertainty about the move. Her mind was filled with thoughts of what the new town would be like and if she would make new friends.

Connie couldn't help but notice the pensive look on her daughter's face. "I know it's tough leaving all your friends behind, Chloe," she said gently. "But I promise this will be an adventure."

Chloe forced a smile, trying to hide her worry. "I know, Mom," she said. "It's just a lot to take in."

Clark, who had been walking by, overheard their conversation. He put a hand on Chloe's shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "You're a strong kid, Chloe. You'll make new friends in no time."

"Thanks Dad."

As the family brought all the boxes in, Chloe took her box and unpacked them. She put her stuffed bear on the shelf, her 'fair bears' tapes on the bottom shelf, her clothes in the closet, and her small things in the draws.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Chloe decided to peep through her door to see who was there. Her Mom opened the door to see a woman with brown hair and a man with black hair.

"Hello,we're the Turners.", said the woman. "We saw you moving and decided to meet you!"

"Well isn't nice to meet you two", said Connie.

Chloe sighed and stopped peeping. Her Mom already made friends with a couple when they just moved in.Now she is a loner at Dimmsdale.Well, not later.

-

"Oh, Anti-wanda,I did it!", said Anti-cosmo. "I found a way!"

Anti-wanda stood there eating a sandwich with her foot.

"I found a plan to take over the world!", said Anti-cosmo. "And it follows of being a god parent."

Anti-wanda swallowed. "But I thought we couldn't go to earth."

Anti-Cosmo grinned. "That's where you're wrong, dear," he said. "I've discovered a way to get around those pesky rules. And guess who our first target is?"

Anti-Wanda raised an eyebrow. "Who?"

Anti-Cosmo chuckled. "The perfect candidate. A young girl named Chloe Carmichael. Innocent, kind-hearted, and just the right age for our plan."

"Ooh!", Anti-wanda's eyes widened. "What's the plan?!"

"Well dear,", Anti-cosmo started."first off,we will come to Chloe so she'll know we're her god parents.Second, we'll lie about our origin to make it much sad so she'll feel sorry for us.Third, we'll make her wish for every Anti-fairy to roam the earth, making everyday bad luck!"

Anti-Cosmo's plan sounds quite intriguing to Anti-Wanda, and her simple mind can fully grasp the concept of it. She begins to giggle in excitement, her pink eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Anti-Cosmo grins, encouraged by his wife's response. "And the best part? She has no idea what she's getting into. She's so trusting and naive. It'll be like taking candy from a baby. Now, get ready, my love. We're off to meet up with our new god child."

Chapter 2: 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭

Chapter Text

It was already the evening when the Carmichael family moved in.Chloe sat down on her new bed reading a book while she could smell pasta.

"Chloe! Dinner's ready!", Connie called.

As Chloe walked downstairs, she could see her parents wearing elegant clothes. Her father was wearing a suit and her mother was wearing a dazzling silver dress.

"Mom,Dad,why are you wearing some fancy clothes?", Chloe asked. "We're not going somewhere, are we?"

"Oh,no.We're going somewhere.", said Connie. "Your father has just met one of our neighbours the Dinklebergs and they decided to throw a welcome party for us."

"What about me?", Chloe asked.

"This is only an adult party so you can stay here.", said Clark. "Besides, you can always call us on the telephone in the hall."

Chloe's face fell. "You're leaving me home alone?"

Connie put a hand on her daughter's shoulder. "Don't worry, honey. You'll be fine. We'll be back in a few hours."

Chloe sighed, trying to feign nonchalance. "Alright, whatever. Have fun."

As Chloe stayed home alone, she watched TV until it was her curfew. So Chloe went to bed with her pink stripped pajamas on.

Chloe lay in her bed, feeling a little lonely and bored. She couldn't help but to wonder what her parents were up to at the party. She let out a sigh and rolled over, trying to get comfortable.

As she closed her eyes, she started to hear some strange noises coming from her windows.

At first, Chloe dismissed the sounds as just the wind or something. But as the noises continued, she started to get a bit nervous. She sat up in bed and looked towards her window, which was open just a crack.

The sounds seemed to be getting louder, like footsteps outside her window, and it didn't make her feel very comfortable. Without much thought, Chloe got out of bed and slowly walked over to her window.

She opened her window and looked around.

"Hello? Is anyone there?", Chloe called. "Is that you,Mom and Dad?"

The sounds stopped.Chloe peered over to see the front door, but her parents weren't there. She felt she had to call her parents but they probably wouldn't believe her.

"Hello?", Chloe called out again.

"Yes?", Someone else called.

"Be quiet, Anti-wanda!", said someone else and they probably held the person's mouth.

Were they about to rob her house? Chloe's skin got pale. She went to her door to call the police, but before she opened it, they were talking outside again.Chloe, feeling curious decided to eavesdrop.

-

"Are ya' sure this is the place?", Anti-wanda whispered to Anti-cosmo as they hovered outside Chloe's bedroom window.

Anti-cosmo looked at the house number and nodded. "Yes, this is it. This must be our future god child's home.",he chuckled. "This is going to be fun. Now let's wait for her to fall asleep."

-

Chloe heard this and had an idea. She went to her parents room and looked around to get her dad's golf club to attack them with. She then went back to her room and pretended to sleep hiding herself in the covers.

She could hear a puff of smoke come through the air.She covers her mouth to avoid the sound of coughing, still holding the golf club.

She could hear someone giggling but was then shushed. She decided to peek, only to catch a glimpse of two people with bat wings. One with fangs, and one with crooked teeth.

As they got closer, Chloe stopped peeking. She could see that the one with fangs was reaching for her under the covers. As they pulled down her covers, revealing her,it was time for Chloe to strike.

"Got'cha!", before she could swing, she realised her dad's golf club disappeared.

Chloe looked down in horror to realize that the golf club was no longer in her hand.

The two anti fairies stared at her with surprise, not expecting her to be awake.

"Well, well, well". Anti-Cosmo sneered. "Isn't this an unexpected surprise."

Chapter 3: 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

Chapter Text

"Howdy!", said Anti-wanda. "How are ya'?"

Chloe kept her breath normal. Her hands were clutching onto her mattress. "W-who are you?'

"Why we're your Anti-fairy god parents,dear.", said Anti-cosmo. "I'm Anti-cosmo,and this is my dear wife, Anti-wanda."

Chloe's eyes widened in confusion and disbelief. "Anti-fairy god parents? What on earth is that supposed to mean?"

Anti-Cosmo chuckled. "It means exactly what it sounds like, my dear. We are here to be your god parents and grant you your every wish."

"Any wish?", said Chloe. "With no limit?"

"No limit of wishes."

Chloe looked at them skeptically. "What's the catch?"

"Oh, there's no catch at all dear.", said Anti-cosmo. "We'll be your godparents until the very end."

"May I ask,", said Chloe. "Where did you come from?"

"Well, how do I tell ya' this?", said Anti-wanda. "When a Mommy Anti-fairy and a Daddy Anti-fairy love each other very much,they-"

"I didn't mean by that.",Chloe interrupted.

Anti-wanda stopped and looked a little sheepish.

Anti-Cosmo chuckled again. "What she meant to say is that we come from a place known as Anti-Fairy World.A place where all Anti-fairies reside."

"I mean by how did you two get here?", Chloe asked. "Why are you here? How did you find me?"

Before Anti-wanda was about to start, Anti-cosmo shushed her as if saying "Now's our chance."

"Well dear...",He put a hand on Chloe's shoulder. Then he put his other hand on his head dramatically. "No! I can't tell you! It's sad! You wouldn't like it!"

"Tell me what?"

"How we got here!",he 'cried'. "I wouldn't dream of making my god daughter upset!"

"Why would I be upset?", Chloe asked. "You can tell me."

Anti-Cosmo sighed and sat on the edge of Chloe's bed, with Anti-wanda standing beside him.

"Very well. I suppose I can tell you our story, but please, try to have some sympathy for us."

He wiped out an imaginary tear.

"You see,we Anti-fairies were all happy.Roaming around the earth's atmosphere.Until the leader of the fairy world, Jorgen Von strangle created a barrier so we could never see earth again, only to leave us trapped in our world.Me and my wife wanted to make a difference. So we broke the rules only to be the ones who managed to get here."

"Oh, I'm so sorry.", said Chloe. "And you wanted to be my godparents because you didn't have anywhere to go,did you?"

Anti-cosmo nodded. "Indeed dear.We never had a godchild in the first place,so please don't kick us out!"

"I would never do such a thing!", said Chloe. "I didn't know how misunderstood you guys could be."

"See that,dear?", Anti-cosmo whispered to Anti-wanda. "It's working."

"You know, back in my home town,I tried to help out as much as I could.", said Chloe. "But I only get scolded at or it turns out that they didn't need help. And now that I think about it,I don't think my friends ever liked me."

Anti-Cosmo's face twisted into a mock look of pity. "Oh,that's absolutely dreadful, my dear. And it's no way for a kind, young girl like you to be treated."

Anti-wanda continued the act as she sat down on the other side of Chloe, pretending to be sympathetic. "It's such a shame that those people couldn't see your kind heart. You deserve better than that."

"And how we wish that us Anti-fairies could see earth again!", Anti-cosmo continued.

"Wait, you grant wishes, right?", said Chloe.

"Why yes dear. It's in our nature to grant wishes to human children.", said Anti-cosmo.

"I could wish for the barrier to be destroyed so your kind can roam around again."

"Really?! You would do that just for us?", Anti-cosmo exclaimed his tone dripping with sympathy. "You don't have to."

"No,I would wish for it.", said Chloe. "You guys deserve better than that. You didn't do anything wrong."

Anti-cosmo smiled evilly. He then whispered to his wife, "This is it! The world is ours!"

"Wait...", said Chloe. "How do I make your wish come true?"

"Well dearie, ya' just say 'I wish' and then whatever.", said Anti-wanda.

"Okay then.", said Chloe. "I wish that-"

Just then, the door outside the house opened.

"Oh no!", Anti-wanda cried. "It's Jorgen!"

"Curses! Foiled again!", yelled Anti-cosmo who then looked at Chloe who was confused of what he said. "I mean- Oh no! What are we going to do?!"

"Wait, that must be my parents.", said Chloe.

"That's even worse!", said Anti-wanda. "If anyone else finds out about us, we'll go away!"

"Oh! Then quick!",said Chloe. "Hide under my bed!"

"Chloe! We're home!", Connie called.

Chloe shushed them and she opened the door as the two Anti-fairies disguised themselves as stuffed animals.

Chloe stepped out of her room to greet her parents. "Hey Mom,Dad.How was the party?"

Connie and Clark both entered, Connie still wearing her silver dress.

"Oh,it was a lot of fun!", Connie replied, removing her high heels. "How about you? Did you stay out of trouble?"

"Of course I did,Mom.", said Chloe.

"I think we should get some rest, shouldn't we?", said Clark.

"Oh,definitely." Connie agreed, making her way to the kitchen. "I'll grab a snack for us before we head to bed."

Clark smiled and ruffled Chloe's hair. "Goodnight, honey."

He began to head upstairs to his and his wife's room.

"Hey, where's my golf club?",he called.

"I wish that my Dad's golf club was back where it was.", Chloe whispered.

"Oh, never mind.", said Clark.

Meanwhile, Anti-wanda and Anti-cosmo were still hiding under her bed.

Anti-wanda lowered her voice. "Did ya' see that? She already made her first wish!"

Anti-cosmo grinned. "I knew she'd make her wish soon. This is going better than I thought!"

Chapter 4: 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥)

Chapter Text

The sun was shining.Chloe yawned and remembered what happened with those Anti-fairies.She couldn't believe if it was just a dream or wasn't.

"Morning, dear Chloe.", Chloe looked up and saw Anti-cosmo. "Such a beautiful day, isn't it?"

Basically, the answer was it wasn't a dream at all.Chloe only saw Anti-cosmo but not Anti-wanda.

"Where's the other one?", she asked.

"Anti-wanda,you mean? She's still asleep, refusing to wake up.Oh, how I love her."

Chloe could hear Anti-wanda's snoring faintly.

Anti-cosmo then turned to Chloe. "So, did you get a good night's sleep, dear?"

"Yes.I did.", said Chloe.

Anti-cosmo poofed up a pan,a sizzler and a piece of bacon.

"Are you making breakfast?", Chloe asked.

"Bacon is my wife's favourite, Chloe.", said Anti-cosmo. "Just a quick smell of it, and she'll go rabid."

"I thought you were going to let her sleep.", said Chloe.

"Nonsense. She snores like a hog and oh, how it irritates me.", said Anti-cosmo. "Now you may want to brace yourself."

Anti-Cosmo placed the bacon in the pan and started to cook it on the stove. As the bacon began to sizzle, it's aroma wafted throughout her room.

Anti-cosmo sniffed the air. "Oh, I can already feel her getting up. Any moment now..."

At that very moment, a loud "Bacon!" sounded throughout the house. Anti-wanda appeared and nearly tackled Anti-cosmo in excitement.

The bacon flew out of the pan landing on Chloe's pajamas.

"Uh oh...", Anti-cosmo muttered.

Anti-wanda's eyes grew wide as she stared at the bacon on Chloe's pajamas. She then lunged towards Chloe, mouth open wide.

Chloe screamed and ducked causing Anti-wanda to crash onto the floor. She picked herself, sniffing out the bacon.

Anti-cosmo chuckled. "No use running, dear! Nothing can deter my wife from her beloved bacon!"

"I-I wish that the bacon on my pajamas were on a plate!", Chloe cried.

The bacon on Chloe's pajamas disappeared, replaced by a plate of bacon to share for the family.

Anti-wanda's eyes locked onto the bacon and she immediately grabbed it, gobbling it up with her feet, making quite the mess in the process.

Anti-cosmo laughed at his wife's antics. "I swear, the things she'd do for bacon. It's like catnip to her."

Chloe, still recovering from the commotion, looked at the two Anti-fairies. "You two are certainly lively in the morning."

Anti-cosmo chuckled. "Oh, you have no idea, darling. Just imagine dealing with this every morning."

Anti-wanda, who was still eyeing the empty plate, pouted. "More bacon, please," she demanded.

Anti-cosmo poofed up a plate of bacon to which Anti-wanda quickly grabbed the plate and started devouring the bacon with her feet.

Anti-cosmo looked at Chloe. "See what I mean? She's like a little pig when it comes to bacon."

Chloe looked around. "Yes.But what if my parents wake up?"

Anti-cosmo considered this for a moment. "Well, that is a good point. We wouldn't want your parents finding out about our presence, now would we? Unless... You wish for it."

"Well I really don't need to,after all my parents are deep sleepers.", said Chloe. "But on occasions, they have alarm which is very loud."

Anti-cosmo furrowed his brow in thought. "Alarm, you say? We can't have that waking those two up."

Anti-wanda, who had finished her bacon, chimed in. "Couldn't we just destroy the alarm?"

"It'll also make noise.", said Chloe.

Anti-cosmo nodded in agreement. "Indeed, it would. And we can't have that.",He turned to Anti-wanda. "Well, we can't destroy the alarm. Any other ideas, darling?"

"I could just wish for it like you said.", said Chloe.

"Our wands are at the ready, dear.", said Anti-cosmo pulling up his wand.

Instead of Anti-wanda pulling up a wand, she pulled up a piece of bacon and munched on it.

Anti-cosmo facepalmed. "Anti-wanda, your wand."

Anti-wanda pulled up a wand.

"Okay then.", said Chloe. "I wish-"

The alarm started going off.Chloe covered her ears.

"Is it supposed to be this loud?!", Anti-cosmo yelled.

"What?!"

"IS IT SUPPOSED TO BE THIS LOUD?!"

"YES!",Chloe yelled.

"Oh, bloody hell!", Anti-cosmo exclaimed, covering his own ears. "That thing is louder than Anti-wanda's snore!"

Just then the alarm sound turns off.All three of them sigh in relief.

"As far as I know,my Mom or Dad might come in my room.", said Chloe. "So I guess now's the time to stay hidden."

As soon as they heard footsteps, Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda transformed into stuffed animals again.

The bedroom door opened, and Clark walked into the room. He saw Chloe looking at him.

"Good morning, kiddo. Did the alarm wake you up?"

"Yeah," Chloe replied. "It was especially loud today."

Clark chuckled. "It's supposed to be like that, honey. So that you don't sleep in."

"Oh,yeah.Today's my first day of a new school.", said Chloe.

"The bus will come in at any minute,Chloe.Get ready."

As soon Clark left, Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda turned back to their normal selves.

"Oh, school. The shame of it.", Anti-cosmo said dramatically.

"School isn't that bad.", said Chloe.

"Oh, on the contrary, dear," Anti-cosmo retorted. "Going to school is the most dreadful experience anyone should ever have!"

"Don't be dramatic. At least it's something to do."

"And I heard that you humans don't even eat meat!", Anti-wanda cried.

"Some do and some don't.", said Chloe. "There is a word for it called 'Vegan'."

"Are you vegan?!",she asked.

"Well yes."

Anti-wanda's eyes widened in horror. "You mean ya' don't eat delicious meat like bacon or beef?!"

"Nope. I only eat vegetables and fruits and stuff like that,", Chloe replied.

Anti-wanda looked like she was about to explode. "Vegetables?! But that's- that's-"

Anti-cosmo cut in. "Healthy for you, my dear. Humans need variety in their diet."

Anti-wanda pouted. "But...but...meat is so delicious! Ya' can't possibly be satisfied with just vegetables and fruits."

"Basically, someday we have to.", said Chloe. "We can't regrow animals. So if the entire animal race is gone,we have no other choice but to only eat plants or things that grow on trees-"

"BUT I NEED MA' MEAT!", Anti-wanda cried shaking Chloe.

Anti-cosmo pulled her away from Chloe.Shushing her.For Anti-wanda's response to be nuzzling his chest like a cat would.

"Apologies, Chloe.Anti-wanda is a carnivore herself.", said Anti-cosmo. "It's a mystery how she doesn't gain weight."

Anti-wanda, who had finished nuzzling her husband, gave him a glare.

"Oh, don't give me that look, darling. You know it's true."

"Anyways,I have to get ready for school.", said Chloe. "Do you mind if I can be on my own while I change?'

"Of course, dear," Anti-cosmo replied. "We'll just...go somewhere else."

Anti-cosmo began to lead Anti-wanda out of Chloe's room.

"I still don't like the idea of eating veggies and fruits only..." Anti-wanda protested as she followed her husband out of the room.

"The reason why we're in the hallway is because the parents are in the bathroom doing whatever.", said Anti-cosmo. "Anti-fairies would already roam the earth if it weren't for her parents."

Anti-wanda rolled her eyes. "Oh, don't start this again."

"You know it's true, darling.",he hissed. "They're probably those... What do you call them? Oh yes! Helicopter parents that always make sure they can see their children."

They both glanced at a picture. It was Chloe with their parents. They're all smiling.

"Aww... She sure is happy in that picture.", said Anti-wanda.

"That's it! You're a genius, Anti-wanda!", Anti-cosmo exclaimed. "We'll get her parents out of the picture."

"Out of the picture?", she repeated. "Are you sure? Look, she's soo gosh darn happy in that picture."

"Do you want our plan to fail?!",he yelled at his wife. "You want Jorgen to trap us Anti-fairies in that blasted barrier every day including Friday the thirteenth?!"

"No! Not that again!", she cried.

"Exactly! This plan must go smoothly!" Anti-cosmo exclaimed. "Now come on, we need to figure out a way to get her parents out of the picture."

Anti-wanda, who was still looking at the picture, suddenly had an idea."I got it," Anti-wanda said, a sly smile spreading across her face.

"What is it, darling?", Anti-cosmo asked, intrigued.

"We don't need to get her parents out of the picture." Anti-wanda replied.

"What do you mean? We need to get them away from her in order for our plan to work." Anti-cosmo said, puzzled.

Anti-wanda then pointed at a creation of the town which was made out of homemade crafts.

"Good design,I must say.", said Anti-cosmo. "But how did they get everything correct? They just moved in yesterday."

Footsteps approached in which the two Anti-fairies transformed into two candles.

Connie was walking in her and her husband's room and just then she almost tripped on the creation. She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed.

"Clark!", Connie yelled.

"Yes honey?", asked Clark.

"Take your creation somewhere else!", she yelled. "Thanks to you I almost tripped!"

"It was a welcome present from the Dinklebergs.", said Clark. "Where do you expect me to put gifts? Just put it on the bed."

Connie picked up the gift by putting her hands on the sides.

"I must do everything myself?", she muttered.

As Connie closed the door behind her, they transformed back to normal.

"Now I get it.", said Anti-cosmo.

He whispered into Anti-wanda's ear who giggled after.

"I know you're giddy by this plan, dear.", said Anti-cosmo. "But you'll make a lot of noise if you keep that up."

"Oh, sorry," Anti-wanda said, trying to contain her giggles. "But you have to admit, this plan is genius."

Anti-cosmo chuckled. "It certainly is, my evil little crumpet. All thanks to you."

"You guys can come in now!", Chloe called.

Chapter 5: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧

Chapter Text

Anti-cosmo chuckled and led Anti-wanda back into Chloe's room.

"You heard the girl, dear," he said, motioning for Anti-wanda to enter.

Anti-wanda followed her husband into the room, her eyes still sparkling with excitement about their plan. As she saw Chloe wearing a yellow dress with a ribbon on her head, she couldn't help but spin her around the room.

"Anti-wanda!", Chloe cried. "I think I'm going to be sick!"

Anti-wanda giggled and stopped spinning her.

"Sorry, dear! Ya' just look so gosh darn cute in that dress!", she exclaimed. "Now that I say it, I think I'm going to be sick!"

Just then, butterflies came out of her mouth. Most escaped through Chloe's window while some were stuck between Anti-wanda's horrible crooked teeth. Chloe clapped at that performance, but Anti-cosmo stopped her.

"Dear what you've just seen was Anti-barf.", he said to Chloe.

"Anti-barf?", Chloe repeated.

"Yes," Anti-cosmo confirmed. "Whenever anti-fairies get nauseous and feel a pain in their ribs, they spew out butterflies from their lips. It even happens when females have Anti-babies."

Anti-wanda, who looked like she was going to spew out more butterflies, covered her mouth with her hand.

"Yes, it's not a pretty sight," Anti-cosmo continued. "Trust me, I've seen Anti-wanda do this many times before. It's even worse up close."

Anti-wanda then threw up in Anti-cosmo's face. Butterflies were on him. He swatted them away and fixed his monocle.

"See Chloe?", he said. "Be lucky she isn't belching at the moment. It's disgusting."

Anti-wanda put her hands on her husband's shoulders, her crooked teeth slightly touching him. "Sometimes disgusting can be good, right Cozzie?"

"Not in this case, dear.", said Anti-cosmo. "To be honest with you, you're like a pig when you burp."

Anti-wanda pouted. "Hey! Pigs are cute, ya' know!"

Anti-cosmo chuckled. "Yes, darling, they are. But they're also messy eaters, just like you."

Anti-wanda continued to pout, crossing her arms over her chest.

Anti-cosmo couldn't help but chuckle at her childish behavior. "Don't be like that, darling. You know I'm just teasing you."

"Chloe! I made breakfast!", Connie called.

"Coming Mom!"

As soon as Chloe went downstairs, Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda turned to each other.

"My dim beloved, let's go."

The two Anti-fairies went into Clark and Connie's room. They were searching for something that could cause a huge argument between them and Chloe.

"Look, darlin'!"

"Found something useful, Anti-wanda?"

As he turned around, he saw his wife holding a wedding dress acting like she was wearing it. "Don't ya' think it's perfect for me?"

"Yes,dear.", said Anti-cosmo. "But maybe help on this. We need something that could start havoc on her relationship with her parents."

Anti-wanda nodded and began helping her husband look through the room. They opened drawers, rummaged through cupboards, and even checked under the bed, but they came up empty handed. Finally, in a closet, Anti-cosmo found something that peaked his interest.

"Oh, dearest," he said. "Come look at this."

Anti-wanda floated over to her husband and looked at what he was holding. "What's that?"

"Seems like a journal," Anti-cosmo replied, flipping through the pages. "Maybe we'll find something useful here."

As Anti-cosmo flicked through the pages, he stumbled over the recent one.

"Let's see what they wrote.", said Anti-cosmo. "Dear diary, today we have finally moved to Dimmsdale. Chloe seems upset we have to move. But it was all for the best. After all, we had serious problems when Chloe was being too nice."

Anti-wanda frowned. "What does that mean? Chloe's nice. Did everyone hate it when she was being nice?"

"Let's look at a different page.", Anti-cosmo flicked through several pages and saw the one which was written a month ago. "Dear diary, I finally had it with Chloe. She took a thorn out of a radioactive monster's foot causing them to destroy more of the city. Now we are facing serious problems with the mayor of the city. Why would she even do it? I don't know. We have never done anything that would cause her to do this."

Anti-wanda then took a closer look at the last sentence.

"Now that I'm writing this, I wish I never had a daughter like her.", she read out loud before looking at her husband. "How could they write something like that? It was probably a mistake? Right?"

Anti-cosmo searched for more things in the closet, then he found a piece of paper in a Polly pocket with a sticky note.

"Note to self: If Chloe doesn't do anything horrible, show this to her when she's ready to go to college.", Anti-cosmo said reading the sticky note. "Well then, let's see what this reads."

Anti-cosmo unfolded the paper, and his eyes quickly scanned the contents. With every line he read, he became intrigued.

"Anti-wanda," he said slowly. "You'll want to read this."

Anti-wanda floated over to her husband, her expression curious. Anti-cosmo handed her the paper.

"Read that out loud, my love," he said.

"I, Connie and Clark Carmichael agree that if Chloe's nice and it turns into a horrible situation before she turns eighteen, then she has to get taken care in a mental asylum...", as Anti-wanda read the last word on the paper, her eyes widened. "FOREVER?!"

"Horrible, isn't it?", said Anti-cosmo not feeling any shock.

"Why would they do such a thing?!", Anti-wanda cried. "Why?!"

"It's perfect.", said Anti-cosmo.

"What do you mean it's perfect they'll send Chloe to a mental asylum?!", Anti-wanda cried.

"No, you ignorant boob!", said Anti-cosmo. "If we show this to Chloe, then she'll show this to her parents!"

Anti-wanda then realised she was talking about the plan. "Oh..."

"What's the matter,my sweet?", Anti-cosmo asked. "I thought you loved the plan."

"I do love the plan," she said. "It's just..."

Anti-cosmo raised an eyebrow. "Just what, my love?"

Anti-wanda took a deep breath, her words stumbling out. "I don't know... I just don't want to hurt her feelings by showing her that her own parents plan to take her to an asylum and never come back for her."

Anti-cosmo's eyes softened, and he put a hand on his wife's shoulder.

"I understand your concern, my dear," he said. "But you know as well as I do that this plan must go smoothly. We can't let our emotions get in the way."

Just then footsteps approached the room. Anti-wanda and Anti-cosmo transformed into two candles.

It was Clark who was there, looking for his hat. He then saw the paper and the journal his wife wrote. His face darkened and he left the room.

-

As Chloe ate breakfast, she saw her Dad coming in the kitchen without his hat on.

"Honey?", said Clark. "Can we talk? Away from Chloe?"

"Is something wrong?", said Connie.

She followed Clark into the room next to the kitchen. Chloe wasn't a fan of eavesdropping especially if it was between her parents. So she didn't listen in.

-

"Have you thought about the paper we signed?", he asked.

"No. We made the decision final.", said Connie. "Why?"

"I saw the paper on the bed and I thought about it.", said Clark. "Maybe we should... Think about it."

Chloe heard her mother sigh. "Clark, we have talked about this many times. We agreed about this."

"You agreed.", said Clark. "I didn't."

"You know that Chloe would mostly cause destruction by being nice.", said Connie. "I don't even know why being nice is a problem. We took care of her well."

"Maybe if we haven't gone on so many trips, she would know that she can't be nice all the time.", said Clark.

"So it's my fault?", Connie asked. "I should be the one to blame?"

Clark sighed, running a hand through his hair. "No, of course not. I just..."

Connie crossed her arms, her expression hardening. "Just what, Clark? Spit it out."

Clark hesitated, struggling to find the right words. "I just... I wonder if we're making the right decision, sending her away like that. What if there's another way?"

Connie's jaw tightened, and she leaned closer to Clark. "What other way? Do you have a better idea? She'll continue being nice, and it'll continue to cause problems. There's no other choice!"

"That's what you say."

"So you are implying it's my fault!"

-

Chloe could hear the two arguing but had no idea what they were arguing or talking about. Her godparents appeared. Anti-cosmo Having a sympathetic look on his face. While Anti-wanda had an uneasy look while looking at her husband.

"Chloe,", said Anti-cosmo. "I think there's something you should know."

Chloe turned around to face them. "Is something wrong?"

"Well dear,", he said putting a hand on her shoulder. "After we say this, just know that we'll try and be the best godparents you'll ever see. Even if we're a different species."

Chloe raised an eyebrow. Her parents arguing growing louder next door. "What is it? What's going on?"

"Well dear-"

"SHUT UP!"

Chloe's Mom outburst next door made the three look at the door.

Anti-wanda swallowed, nervous to continue after Connie's outburst. Anti-cosmo gave her a reassuring pat on the back, urging her to go on.

"Chloe, dear," Anti-wanda began carefully. "There's something we need to tell ya' about yer' parents."

Connie then opened the door making her godparents quickly disappear with their wands. She was muttering a couple of swears Chloe wasn't supposed to say in the household while walking upstairs. Clark walked in looking a bit nervous.

"Dad?", said Chloe. "What were you arguing about? Was it something I did?"

"Honey, you know that we can't tell you something we were talking about between me and your Mother.", said Clark.

Anti-wanda appeared behind him. Blowing raspberries and holding a hammer to hit him with, but Anti-cosmo stopped her and they disappeared again. Chloe didn't notice it though.

Chloe's expression fell, her mind racing with worry. "But...but I didn't do anything wrong, did I?"

Clark quickly reassured her, seeing the worry in her eyes. "No, no, sweetie. You didn't do anything at all wrong. It's just something between me and your Mom. You know how parents can be."

Chloe nodded slowly, still not quite convinced. "Okay..."

Anti-wanda appeared behind Clark again, sticking her tongue out at the man behind his back, but once again, Anti-cosmo stopped her.

Connie then walked in the kitchen. "The bus is here."

Chloe then took her bag and lunch her Mom made and hugged her Dad. And then after that, she hugged her Mom. "Bye guys!"

Clark and Connie hugged their daughter tightly, a bit of guilt in their eyes.

"Bye sweetie," said Clark.

"Have a good day at school.",Connie added.

As Chloe ran out the door, Connie and Clark waved to their daughter goodbye.

"Well, about we... Talked about...", said Connie turning to her husband.

"You changed your mi-"

Then Clark got knocked out by an anvil that came out of nowhere.

"Clark!"

"Anti-wanda!"

"Score!"

Chapter 6: 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐣𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬

Chapter Text

As Chloe went to the school bus, Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda turned into keychains on her bag. Anti-wanda was giggling.

"Goodness sake,  Anti-wanda, you know that it wasn't necessary.", said Anti-cosmo.

Anti-wanda shrugged, her giggle turning into a pout. "Oh, come on, Cozzie. I got a good shot."

As the bus drove, Chloe sat by herself in the back of the bus. As other kids got on the bus and sat down, that stopped at a house.

As the bus opened the door, there stood a girl with long black hair wearing a purple turtleneck jumper and a white skirt with blue eyes. While another girl stood next to her with blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a white jumper with the letter 'D' in the middle and a pink skirt.

As they walked past the other kids, they stopped to where Chloe was sitting.

"Why are you in that seat and the side where Trixie normally sits?", the blonde one asked. "Only Trixie Tang sits here."

"Oh, I'm sorry.", said Chloe. "I didn't-"

"GET OUT OF HER SEAT NOW!"

Chloe was shocked by the sudden outburst, but didn't say anything. Before she could get up from her seat, the black haired girl stopped her.

"Are you new here?", she asked.

"Um... Yes.", said Chloe. "I'm Chloe. Chloe Carmichael."

"I'm Trixie Tang.", she said shaking Chloe's hand. "You know, you're really pretty.

Chloe blushed. "You think so?"

"Yes. What makeup did you put on your face?", said Trixie examining her face.

"Oh, I didn't put any makeup on.", said Chloe.

"You didn't?", Trixie asked shocked. "How can anyone be pretty like you without any makeup?"

"It's a trap!", the blonde girl cried. "Only someone this pretty could've wished for it!"

Trixie glanced at her friend and rolled her eyes. "And that's my... Friend. Veronica Star."

"It's a pleasure to meet you-"

"Get away from me!", she yelled. "Don't you dare touch Trixie!"

"I'm sorry.", said Trixie. "One second please."

She then turned to Veronica. "Oh my god. Do you know how hard it is to be with you?"

She then turned back to Chloe. "We were wondering if you wanted to stay in that seat and I could sit next to you?"

Veronica's eyes widened. "But... But... Where will I sit?"

"With the other kids.", said Trixie. Rolling her eyes.

Chloe glanced at Veronica and the other kids, feeling a pang of guilt. She didn't want to cause any trouble or make anyone feel unwelcome.

"Um, sure," she said to Trixie, sliding over to make room for her. "You can sit here if you want."

"So Chloe, where's your class?", Trixie asked.

"I'm not sure where my class is...", said Chloe. "It says here that my teacher is Mr.Crocker..."

"Oh, that's my class.", said Trixie. "Here, come with me. I'll show you our class."

Chloe smiled, grateful for the help. "Thank you so much, Trixie."

As the two girls made their way to class, Chloe's mind was racing with all sorts of emotions. She couldn't help but feel out of place surrounded by all the other kids who seemed to already know each other.

"That girl sure is pretty.", Anti-wanda said to her husband disguised as a keychain. "Her hair would be good for a new set of curtains!"

Anti-cosmo chuckled. "Easy there, my love. Remember, we're here to observe and monitor the situation, not redecorate."

"I know, I know," Anti-wanda pouts. "But you have to admit, her hair would look fabulous as curtains. Just think about it. We could even add some glitter and make them sparkle!"

Anti-cosmo chuckled again. "As tempting as that sounds, my dear, our focus is on helping Chloe. And I doubt she'd appreciate it if we turned her new friend into a pair of curtains."

As the girls turned to the corner, they came across a door.

"Here's our class.", said Trixie as she opened the door.

As she opened the door, there were already kids at their seats. There was a man sitting at the desk. He had black hair and wore glasses. His ears were down to his neck and he wore a white shirt with a black tie and black trousers.

"You're late, Trixie.", he said.

"I know Mr.Crocker.", said Trixie. "I was just showing the new girl around the school."

He looked at Chloe and he jumped from his seat. "Oh, yes. The new girl."

He then shoved Trixie and touched Chloe's shoulder, revealing her to the class. "Today we have a new student, Chloe Carmichael. We should all be respectful of her."

Chloe couldn't help but get a weird feeling from her teacher. It wasn't his features, it was how he acts. "Can I go to my seat now?"

"Sit next to Turner.", he said as he showed a seat next to a bucktoothed boy with a pink cap.

"Turner?",  Anti-cosmo repeated as he heard the last word coming from Mr.Crocker. "As in Timothy Turner?"

As Chloe sat down in her seat, he fixed his monocle and glanced at the boy. Indeed it was Timmy (Timothy as Anti-cosmo would like to say.) Turner.

"Why is he here?", he said.

He did have mishaps with that boy and his fairy godparents which were his and his wife's counterparts. First, when it was Friday the thirteenth, Timmy broke the barrier. But then he took them and their kind back to fairy world as he realised that they were evil. Seco, it wasn't really bad at all. Anti-cosmo and his counterpart, Cosmo had to get their fagiggly glands replaced. All worked well.

Third, he was very close to ruling the world. But Timmy and his boy genius friend ruined it. Fourth, as Cosmo was pregnant with him and his wife's counterpart, Wanda, the baby, Poof was born. In so, he captured it and took it to his castle with the Head Pixie. Sadly, their plan was foiled. And fifth, in the Olympics, he placed a bet that if he won, he would be Turner's godfather. He lost.

"Why's Timmy here?", Anti-wanda asked.

"I don't know, my love," Anti-cosmo replied, his eyes narrowing in thought. "But we need to keep a close eye on him. His track record of foiling our plans is no small matter. And now that he's in the same class with our god daughter..."

At lunch, Chloe was invited to sit with Trixie and Veronica. The table where Trixie and Veronica sat was very clean unlike the rest. A bodyguard stood next to it stopping anyone who was very close to it.

"It's nice of you to invite me at lunch.", Chloe said to Trixie.

"Isn't that what friends are for?", she said. " Someone like you this pretty should sit here. I know that you'll fit in with all the other popular kids like me just by your looks."

"How'd you do it?!", Veronica cried gripping onto her shirt. "How?!"

Chloe looked at Veronica in confusion. "How did I do what?"

"How did you get so pretty?", Veronica asked, eyes wide with envy. "No makeup at all and your skin's so smooth!"

Chloe shrugged, feeling a bit self-conscious under the scrutiny which is a word that means 'Being carefully examined, especially in a critical way' . "I don't know, I guess I just got lucky with my genes."

Trixie laughed. "Oh come on, Veronica, don't interrogate her. She's new after all."

"But how can she be this pretty!?", Veronica exclaimed. " I have to wear makeup everyday for school just to look pretty as her while she does nothing!"

"Do you really put on makeup everyday for school?", Chloe asked.

Veronica and Trixie gasped.

"Of course you do, Chloe.", said Trixie, holding her hands. "It's the number one guide to be the popular girl at school."

"Why can't I just be myself?", Chloe asked. " My parents always say 'If you be yourself, you'll fit right in'."

"Listen,", said Trixie. "Where did you live before you came here?"

"The city.", Chloe answered.

"The city?", Trixie repeated.

"I heard that some girl helped a radioactive monster destroy a city.", said Veronica.

Chloe swallowed. That girl was her, alright. Moving in and someone mentioning what she did back in the city which got everyone to turn away from her was not her cup of tea which is a phrase which means 'not the type of thing the person likes or is interested in.'

"Anyways, back to what I was saying.", said Trixie. "I don't know where your parents are from and I don't want to know where they came from. But they're lying to you."

"What do you mean?", Chloe asked.

"They don't want you to fit in, they want you to stand out.", said Trixie. "They don't want you to be popular. You're lucky that you have perfect skin. You would never be here."

"So... what are you saying?" she asked, her voice quavering.

"What I'm saying is...", Trixie leaned closer, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "That you should listen to me from now on. I mean, you want to fit in, don't you?"

Chloe glanced at Trixie and Veronica. They were both so confident and sure of themselves, and they were offering her what she had always wanted: to fit in, to belong. Despite her reservations, she found herself nodding, wanting desperately to be a part of this group.

Chapter 7: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧

Chapter Text

As Chloe returned home, she let out a big sigh as she went inside her house.

"Hey Chloe.", said Connie. "Had a good time at school? "

"Yeah.", Chloe. She then saw her Dad have bandages on his head. "What happened to your head?"

"An anvil dropped out of nowhere.", said Clark.

"Shouldn't you go to a hospital for that?", Chloe asked.

"Hospital bills are expensive."

"Oh yeah."

"At least the anvil wasn't that heavy.", said Connie. "You would probably need a cast."

Chloe nodded, still feeling a bit uneasy after the conversation with Trixie and Veronica. She wanted to tell her parents about it, but something was stopping her. Maybe it was the desire to prove herself that she could fit in, or maybe it was the worry of their reaction. Either way, she decided to hold her tongue.

"I'm going to my room.", Chloe said, her voice somewhat distant. "I've got homework to do."

"Alright," said Clark. "Just make sure to come down for dinner."

As Chloe came to her room, her godparents poofed in. No longer disguising themselves as keychains. Anti-wanda looked rather anxious while eyeing her husband. Chloe noticed it.

"Anti-wanda, what's wrong?", Chloe asked. "You look nervous."

"Well Chloe, me and Anti-wanda needed to tell you about the discovery we made in your parents room.", said Anti-cosmo. "I advise you to sit down for this."

"Why were you two in my parents room?", Chloe asked. "Anti-cosmo, what's going on?"

"Let Anti-wanda tell you.", he said before turning to his wife saying, "Go on, dear."

"Well dearie...", she said. While looking at the young girl, she couldn't help but burst into tears making ugly sobs. "I can't tell ya'! I don't want to hurt yer' feelings!"

"Hey, it's okay! There's no need to be upset!", Chloe reassured.

Anti-cosmo rolled his eyes. "Stop your blubbering, woman. You're only making it harder for the girl. Tell her."

Anti-wanda sniffled and wiped her tears away with her arms. "Yer' parents... They're not who you think they are."

"What do you mean?"

"Me and Anti-wanda thought that it would be better to read it yourself instead of reading it out to you.", said Anti-cosmo as he poofed up a piece of paper. "Read it."

As Chloe read it, her eyes widened.

𝙸, 𝒞𝑜𝓃𝓃𝒾𝑒 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝐶𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝐶𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑖𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝚊𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝  𝚒𝚏  𝙲𝚑𝚕𝚘𝚎'𝚜 𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚒𝚝 𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚜 𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚘 𝚊 𝚑𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚒𝚋𝚕𝚎 𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚞𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚋𝚎𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎  𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚗𝚜  𝚎𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝𝚎𝚎𝚗, 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚜𝚑𝚎 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚊𝚔𝚎𝚗 𝚌𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚊 𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚊𝚕  𝚊𝚜𝚢𝚕𝚞𝚖 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛

"I-is this true?", Chloe asked.

"I'm afraid it is.", said Anti-cosmo.

Chloe's stomach churned. Her mind reeled with confusion and hurt. Her parents, the people she trusted most in the world, had planned to lock her away? It seemed so unreal, so cruel.

With a shaky hand, she lowered the paper onto her bed. Her eyes brimmed with tears, but she refused to cry in front of her godparents. She was a Carmichael. And Carmichael's don't cry. And she also remembered what the character in her favorite show, The fair bears said.

"I'm Happy Ray! Be happy! And that's an order. "

"Dear, I know you want to cry.", said Anti-cosmo.

"I can't.", she said. "My parents said that Carmichael's are not to cry."

"That's because your parents have no idea of how easily children cry. You are a child, Chloe.", he said. "Cry if you feel like it."

"I think my tears are gone now.", said Chloe.

Chloe's voice was steady, but the anguish was clear in her eyes. Anti-cosmo nodded, a hint of sadness crossing his usually carefree expression.

"Sometimes holding back our tears does more harm than good," he said. "But that's besides the point. What are you feeling now, Chloe?"

"I feel... Angry.", said Chloe. " why would they do this? Why? "

"Dear, it's probably because they-"

Before Anti-wanda could finish, Chloe walked out of her bedroom downstairs holding the paper in her hand. As she walked downstairs, she saw her parents.

"Honey, have you finished your homework already?", Connie asked.

"Explain this!", Chloe slammed the paper on the table for them to see.

Clark and Connie's eyes widened in horror as they read the text. Connie looked at her husband with panicked eyes, while Clark's face paled.

Clark cleared his throat. "Uh, where did you find this, sweetie?"

"Don't call me sweetie!", Chloe snapped. "You were going to take me away to an asylum!"

Clark and Connie exchanged glances, knowing their secret was out. Clark sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"Chloe... It's not what you think...," he started.

"Then what is it, then?", Chloe demanded. "You were going to lock me away! You were going to turn your own daughter into a mental patient just because you couldn't handle me!"

Connie spoke up, her voice trembled with emotion. "It's for your own good, Chloe. We just wanted to make sure you're safe. Can't you understand that?"

"Safe? SAFE!?", Chloe scoffed. "You call locking me up for the rest of my life in an insane asylum 'safe'? That's not safe, it's a prison! You didn't care about my well-being, you just wanted me gone."

"We had no other choice.", said Connie. "Sometimes your niceness... Goes wrong."

"Because I was nice?!", Chloe yelled. "Everything's my fault when I'm nice! You told me to be nice to everyone! Even give them a second chance!"

"We didn't mean it like that.", said Connie sounding irritated. "Just hear us out."

"On what? That you never loved me? ", Chloe asked. "I already know. Admit it. You never love me. You didn't even-"

"Chloe Mahatma Gandhi Carol Burnett Mother Teresa Neil Armstrong Carmichael!"

(It was covered that she had different middle names in different episodes so I just went with both. -A/N)

"Isn't that a lot of middle names.", said Anti-cosmo.

"Do you know how teiring it is to cope up with you? ", said Connie. "Do you have any source of idea we got in trouble for you being nice?! I just thought they were all harmless at first, but that day ruined everything! Everyone acted like we were some sort of monsters thanks to you!"

"Connie...", said Clark. "Maybe we should take a breather...."

"Take a breather?", Connie snapped. "I won't take a breather until she understands how stressful it is to deal with her!"

Clark grabbed her arm, trying to calm her down, but Connie yanked it away. She turned her anger back to Chloe.

"Do you have any clue what people do when they take advantage of you being nice?", she said. "They walk all over you!"

"Maybe things would've been better if you just stopped traveling all around the world! ", Chloe retorted.

"Then maybe things would've been better if I never gave birth to a daughter like you!"

Chloe then stopped at looked at her mother. Her eyes stared at her. Signalling sadness. While Clark's eyes looked at Connie saying 'You did it now.'

"Chloe...", said Connie. "I didn't mean-"

It was too late. Chloe ran back to her room. She shut her door and leaned her back into it. She was a Carmichael. And yet she had the audacity to cry. Even forgetting what Happy Ray said.

Chapter 8: 𝐁𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫.

Chapter Text

As Chloe cried, Anti-cosmo went to her side. Taking out tissues to dry her tears with. Anti-wanda hugged her from behind. Snuggling her the best she can.

"I don't get it...", Chloe sniffed. "Why..."

"Hush, my dear goddaughter. You did enough.", said Anti-cosmo. "Sometimes parents are dull and ignorant. Ignoring their child's plea to actually love them. Making their child silent. The child will grow to be smarter than them, but will be silent since their parents don't listen. Like a little doll for example. Begging to get out of their cabinet but no one listens."

"It's alright to feel sad, sweet pea.", said Anti-wanda. "We can act like parents to ya'. We always wanted a child ourselves, ya' know."

"It won't change anything though.", Chloe said through tears.

Anti-wanda held her tighter. "Oh, dearie, it might not change yer' past, but it'll certainly change yer' present."

Anti-cosmo nodded, wiping away Chloe's tears. "We'll be better parents than those nitwits ever were."

"Chloe...", said Connie, knocking her door. "Can we talk?"

"Go away!", Chloe yelled.

"Listen, kid. Your Mom didn't mean what she said.", said Clark.

"It's my fault?", Connie asked him.

"Well sorry... Maybe you shouldn't have said that...", said Clark. Next thing he knew he was slapped by his wife on the head. "Ow! I said I was sorry!"

"Look, Chloe I didn't mean what I said earlier.", said Connie. "I guess anger took over me and I'll pay for my actions."

"You think you can just waltz back in here like everything's normal?", Chloe yelled through the door. "You never even wanted me, you made that pretty clear!"

Clark tried to speak up, but Connie silenced him with a glare. She let out a sigh and spoke.

"Chloe please, just open the door. Let's talk this out like adults." Connie pleaded.

"I'm ten years old!", Chloe yelled. "Can't you acknowledge that?! Or maybe that would be your excuse to leave me alone when going on your adventures!"

"Oh, I must say, I do love a bit of family drama.", Anti-cosmo whispered to his wife. "And I love how our plan's working."

"We do acknowledge that you're ten years old.", said Clark. "It's just that-"

"Just what?! You don't even know me well!", Chloe shouted. "You don't even know what my favorite colour is! My favorite animal is! You don't even know my favorite hobby!"

Connie couldn't find a response to that, realizing how true her daughter's words were. Clark, too, couldn't deny the validity of the statement. They stood there, speechless, knowing they messed up as parental figures.

Anti-cosmo smirked mischievously from the sidelines, loving the chaos he stirred up. He patted his wife on the back in approval.

"This is getting good." Anti-cosmo whispered to Anti-wanda, his eyes glimmering with mischief.

Connie finally found her voice. "Chloe, honey, please just hear us out-"

Chloe cut her off, still fuming. "Why should I? After everything, why should I listen to you now?"

Connie and Clark looked at each other, unsure of how to respond. The weight of their mistakes was becoming increasingly clear.

Anti-cosmo turned to Anti-wanda, chuckling softly. "This is even better than any of the soaps we watch, my dearest."

"I know, darling," Anti-wanda replied, grinning. "Watching them squirm is quite delightful."

Back at the door, Clark tried once more to plead with his daughter. "Honey, just give us a chance to make this right-"

"Leave me alone!", Chloe yelled. "I never thought I'd say this but I hate you!"

They both went silent outside Chloe's door. The next thing Chloe knew was that she heard footsteps go downstairs and then the sound was gone.

"Are you alright, dear? ", Anti-cosmo asked Chloe his voice secretly dripping sweet falseness.

"I-I wish...", said Chloe. "I wish that my parents would care and love me."

-★-

As Connie and Clark got to bed, Connie placed a meal in front of Chloe's door. Knowing she hasn't had dinner yet. The whole evening, Chloe stayed in her room only for Connie to do absolutely nothing but hope she would just come out the door and hug them.

"Honey, it's alright.", said Clark as Connie got on their bed. "Tomorrow will feel like it never happened."

Clark's tone was soothing. But it only made Connie cry as she put her hands in her face.

"What have I done?", she said. "I never wanted this.."

"We have done.", said Clark. "Not you."

Connie cried harder. He then put his arms around her and shushed her.

"We can start over.", said Clark. "Tomorrow morning, we can just say to them the deal's off. How about that?"

"What if they refuse?",Connie sniffed. "What if we never see our baby girl again?"

Clark squeezed her tighter. "We'll cross that bridge if we ever get there. We just need to try and fix this, that's all that matters."

He then thought back to today's events and couldn't help but feel guilty. "She's right. We never knew her, did we?"

Connie looked at him through teary eyes. "What do you mean?"

"Have you ever even asked her what her favorite color is? Or her favorite animal and hobby?"

Connie couldn't find a response to that, knowing it was true. A sad realization dawned on her.

"Oh, god...", she whispered, her voice cracking. "We're terrible parents..."

Clark held her tighter, his own heart heavy with regret. "We didn't mean to be..."

As the time passed with Clark comforting his wife in his arms, she seemed to calm down. And as it turned midnight, they heard the grandfather clock saying it's midnight.

The sound died down. Their bed was uncomfortable as it turned midnight. As if they were sleeping on cardboard. Their blanket made them itch and scratch themselves as if they slept on a jumper a grandmother made for her grandchildren. And their pillows were too fluffy which made Clark sneeze and a bit got some in the couples hair as if they were sleeping on cotton.

Connie was the first to get up to see what's going on. As she took off the blankets, she saw she was in her clothes she wore everyday instead of her pajamas. She turned around to see Clark also in his clothes he wore everyday. Was this a dream?

Connie pinched herself to see if she was dreaming. The pinch only came with her hurting herself but not waking up to see her in her gown.

"Ouch...", Connie hissed as she nursed her aching pinch mark.

Her eyes grew wide with confusion as she realized this wasn't a dream.

"Clark... Wake up," she said, shaking her husband's shoulder.

"Huh...?", Clark said groggily. "Something the matter?"

He looked at himself to see himself not wearing his pajamas. He looked at his wife in confusion.

"Why am I..."

"I don't know either.", she said. "I pinched myself but I'm still here so don't bother trying."

"What about Chloe? Is he okay?", Clark asked.

Connie quickly then got out of the room while Clark followed behind. The door was gone in their room. But they didn't bother for the same of their daughter. As Connie went to Chloe's door, she found it hard to pull open.

"Why is her door made of cardboard?", Connie asked. "I don't remember her door being made of cardboard..."

"Sweetie, are you okay?", Clark asked.

There wasn't a response at the door. Which made Connie panic.

"Chloe! Answer us!", she said as she pulled the door harder.

"Connie, she might be asleep.", said Clark.

"You think her door was made of cardboard?!", Connie yelled, panicked. "What if she's in danger?!"

Fear gripped Clark as he saw the panic in his wife's eyes. He didn't believe for a second that Chloe was asleep. He helped pull the door with her, his heart racing.

"Chloe!" he called out. "Answer us, sweetheart!"

Connie rammed her shoulder into the cardboard door, breaking it. As they both rushed into her daughter's room, she wasn't in her bed. She hasn't run away since the windows were closed and in their experience in sneaking out to go to a party, it was hard to close the window outside. Especially when there isn't anything to help your feet.

"Chloe...?"

Chapter 9: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧

Chapter Text

As Connie and Clark searched Chloe's room to find her, they came back with nothing. And then they went downstairs.

"Chloe! Where are you?", Connie called.

"Are you in the kitchen?", Clark called.

As they looked downstairs, she was nowhere to be seen. Even the cabinets were made of cardboard boxes.

"You don't think she ran away, do you?", Connie asked.

"She must be outside.", said Clark. "We searched everywhere."

Clark rammed his shoulder into the cardboard door to go outside. The hard ground was also made out of cardboard. The grass didn't feel like grass at all. All of the houses were completely made out of clay and the sky looked... Different. It looked like the ceiling a room would have.

"Chloe!", Clark called.

As he ran to look for his daughter, Connie then saw their neighbor, Sheldon Dinkleberg standing there.

"Sheldon, I need your help!", said Connie as he walked over to him, panicked. "My daughter is missing! She's blonde, has blue eyes and normally wears a purple ribbon!"

Sheldon said nothing. He just stood there.

"Sheldon, have you seen her?", Connie asked.

He didn't respond.

"Sheldon, please-"

As she grabbed his arms, she felt a weird touch. It was not how you would touch an actual person. It felt like dry clay. Connie then flicked his face and he did nothing. He was a clay figure alright. Connie looked around to see what was going on. She then saw a sign.

,ǝןɐdsɯɯıp oʇ ǝɯoɔןǝʍ,

As she looked upside down, it read 'Welcome to Dimmsdale'. She then remembered what happened at the welcome party the Dinklebergs threw.

-★-

"A gift for our new neighbours!", said Sheldon as he gave them a diorama of the town.

It was accurately good. He created every house, every building and every nook and cranny in there. Including himself for some reason.

"Thank you Sheldon.", said Connie. "You're very kind."

"Oh, and I accidentally made the sign upside down.", he admitted. "Hope that's okay."

"It's certainly okay!", said Clark. "How did you even make it soo well?"

-★-

Connie realised they weren't at home. They were in Sheldon's diorama. And they were not sure if they were able to get out.

"I looked everywhere.", said Clark, coming back to Connie. "I even checked the school. You don't think she left the town, do you?"

"Clark...", she said holding his hands. "I don't think we're in Dimmsdale at all."

"What do you mean?", Clark asked. "This is Dimmsdale."

"I don't mean by that.", said Connie. "Look at the sign."

Clark looked at the sign. His eyes widened as he saw it upside down.

"Honey... You don't mean..."

"You two are still in Dimmsdale. And in another Version of Dimmsdale as I say it."

Connie and Clark turned around to see two people floating. One was a man with green eyes with a monocle. One was a woman with pink eyes with crooked teeth. It was Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda.

"W-who are you two?", Connie asked.

"I'm Anti-cosmo and over here is my dearly beloved wife, Anti-wanda.", said Anti-cosmo. "We're your daughters fairy godparents. Or in other words, Anti-fairy godparents."

"What do you mean by godparents?", Clark asked. "What did you to Chloe?"

"Now ya' care?", Anti-wanda asked. "Too much by just sending her to a nuthouse for doing kind deeds, ain't it?"

"For your information, we have made a decision that we're now not taking her to an asylum anymore.", said Connie.

"Eehhhhhh!", said Anti-wanda as she imitated an incorrect buzzer. "Wrong!"

She then poofed up a water spray and sprayed it at Connie.

Connie wiped the water out of her face as Clark started to speak.

"We did decide it wasn't the best decision.", said Clark. "We decided to talk with the person we agreed with tomorrow."

"Oh, but you're not going anywhere tomorrow.", said Anti-cosmo.

"What do you mean?", he asked.

"It means, y'all stuck in here until we say so.", said Anti-wanda.

Connie and Clark exchanged a look, their panic growing even more.

"What about Chloe?", Connie asked. "What's going to happen to her?"

"Oh, she'll be doing just fine with her other parents.", said Anti-cosmo.

"What do you mean by 'other parents'?"

"She wished that you two would love and care for her.", said Anti-cosmo.

"But we do!", Clark cried.

"Eehhhhhh!", Anti-wanda imitated an incorrect buzzer again. "Wrong again!"

She then sprayed Clark.

"We would have given her what she wanted, but it will ruin our plan.", Anti-cosmo. "So we took in a replacement so you don't have to care for her. It'll be like you are not here."

"What plan?", said Clark.

"Spoiling a surprise isn't our cup of tea. Isn't it darling? ", said Anti-cosmo as his wife nodded in agreement.

Connie's eyes widened. The thought of someone replacing her and her husband as Chloe's parents was horrible. She didn't want to be replaced. She wanted to see her daughter everyday.

She was the one who made Chloe. She witnessed her first breath coming in at the world. Yes, she may have been on many adventures not seeing her, but she did love her deeply.

"Don't even think about laying a finger on our daughter!", Connie yelled.

"Oh, but we already layed our fingers on Chloe.", said Anti-cosmo.

Connie felt a chill run down her spine at Anti-cosmo's words. "What do you mean you laid your fingers on her'?"

Anti-wanda giggled, her crooked teeth gleaming in a malicious grin. "We gave her new parents, duh."

"You can't just replace us!", Clark exclaimed. "We're her parents. She's our daughter!"

"Correction, were her parents.", said Anti-wanda. "Now ya' are just two idiots in a diorama."

Connie clenched her fists, her anger bubbling inside her. "You can't do this! You can't just take our place!"

Anti-cosmo chuckled. "Oh, but we did. And there's nothing you can do to stop it."

Connie took one foot forward, pointing at them. "How could you do this? You two are despicable monsters!"

"Such a good compliment. I'm flattered.", said Anti-cosmo as he put a hand on his chest.

Anti-wanda saw this and did the same. "Ooh! I feel soo lovely dovely!"

"Well, we're going to leave you alone. Ta ta!", said Anti-cosmo as he took out his wand.

"See ya'! Wouldn't wanna be ya'!", said Anti-wanda as she did the same.

Clark guarded Connie with his arms. As they thought both of them were going to be annihilated, nothing happened. The two anti-fairies were gone. And they both were the only ones there with a clay modeled Sheldon.

And that was the end of the plan of getting Chloe's parents out of the picture. And now they were focusing on the plan they started on at the very beginning. Ruling the world.

Chapter 10: 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞

Chapter Text

"Wakey! Wakey! Chloe!"

As Chloe woke up, she saw Anti-cosmo sipping tea.

"Morning Anti-cosmo.", said Chloe. "Anti-wanda's still asleep, isn't she?"

"Yes. She tossed herself in bed all night.", he said.

"She must have been having nightmares, didn't she?"

"No. She regularly does that."

Anti-cosmo poofed up a pan, a sizzler and pieces of bacon.

"Dear..."

"I know. I might want to brace myself.", said Chloe.

"Be ready this time.", said Anti-cosmo. "She almost ate you last time."

As the bacon's began to sizzle, Chloe heard a loud thump under her bed. As her bed started making loud noises, Anti-wanda appeared under her bed, drooling like a rabid animal.

"Buh... Bacon...", Anti-wanda mumbled, her voice raspy.

Anti-cosmo chuckled. "Someone's hungry."

Anti-wanda's drool became more and more, the saliva dripping onto Chloe's carpet. She sniffed the air, her nose twitching. Her eyes fixated on the bacon's in the pan.

Chloe backed up, her back hitting the wall. "Uh, I think Anti-wanda's a little more hungry than usual..."

"Anti-wanda, have you been getting sleep?", he asked. "Apologies. She gets very hungry in the mornings when she loses her beauty sleep."

"MEAT!"

Anti-wanda then lunged at the pieces of bacon and ate it with her feet. Also eating the pan by accident with only the handle remaining.

"Good day, my dear crumpet.", he said to his wife.

Anti-wanda, in response, belched at Anti-cosmo's face. Coating him in a spray of bacon-scented saliva.

Anti-cosmo, unflinchingly, reached out with a handkerchief and began to wipe his face. "Charming as ever, my dear."

Chloe couldn't help but chuckle at Anti-cosmo's calm reaction to his wife's belch. Despite her...less than ladylike behaviour, Anti-wanda was undeniably the love of his life.

Anti-wanda, after her feast, she finally turned her attention to Chloe. She wiped her mouth and chuckled, her crooked teeth gleaming in a slightly terrifying grin.

"Chloe, dear..."

Chloe's smile faded slightly as Anti-wanda spoke, her voice dripping with saccharine (which is a word that means 'Excessively sweet or sentimental.') sweetness. What was she up to now?

"Yes, Anti-wanda...?" Chloe asked.

"Ya' wouldn't happen to have any more bacon, would you?"

Chloe couldn't help but chuckle. Leave it to Anti-wanda to be thinking about food moments after devouring a pan full of bacon.

"Anti-wanda, I'm vegan, remember?", said Chloe. "I don't have any meat."

Her grin faded. "Oh..."

Anti-cosmo chuckled at his wife's reaction. "Looks like someone needs to expand her palate a bit. How about a foot long sandwich?"

"Ooh! I want that!"

Anti-cosmo poofed up a sandwich which made Anti-wanda eat it with her feet.

"How about you, dear?"

"No thank you.", said Chloe. "I'll just make my breakfast by myself."

As Chloe went downstairs, she heard a soft humming as also hearing the dishes being washed up. Anti-cosmo teleported to her side and gave her a reassured squeeze on her shoulder.

"You wished for your parents to love you, remember?"

Chloe paused, her heart clenching a bit at Anti-cosmo's words. She had made the wish in a moment of hurt and frustration. She just wanted her parents to treat her like a daughter, not a chore.

"I... I remember...", Chloe replied softly.

As Chloe descended the stairs, she was engulfed by the scent of pancakes. This was definitely different from her usual breakfast.

She reached the kitchen to find her parents cooking up a storm. As soon as she entered, they both turned around to greet her.

"Good morning, honey!", Connie said cheerily, a bright smile on her face.

"Morning, sweetie.", Clark chimed in, holding a spatula in one hand, flipping pancakes with the other. "Pancakes for breakfast today. Sound good?"

"Yeah... That sounds good.", said Chloe.

Chloe took a seat at the table, as her parents finished baking pancakes, they placed a plate for her on the table with a glass of orange juice. Her father kissed her cheek and began reading the newspaper.

"What are you going to do at school today?", Connie asked.

"We're going to begin a history project in pairs, today.", said Chloe. "We could do a project on whatever history piece we want to do."

"Oh, that sounds good.", said Clark. "Maybe you could do your project on Martin Luther King, or Rosa Parks, or-"

"Honey, let her pick what she wants.", said Connie, giving a plate to her husband.

"Sorry, just giving her some advice.", said Clark.

Chloe always did projects on what her parents suggested. But with her wish, they actually care if she doesn't do what they suggest. Chloe grinned as her parents discussed her project. It felt good to be encouraged to pursue her own interests, rather than just following their suggestions. She was excited to dive into researching a topic that truly interested her.

As they finished breakfast, Connie and Clark made sure to check in with Chloe's plans for the day, showing a level of care and involvement they hadn't before.

"Did I give you your lunch?", Connie asked.

"Forgot it!"

Clark threw Chloe's lunch to Chloe which she caught with one hand.

She smiled, feeling a wave of happiness wash over her.

"Thanks, Dad.", she said.

Clark smiled back, a little flustered, but overjoyed at her reaction. "Glad you caught it, sweetie."

Connie chuckled, shaking her head. "Next time, darling, we'll pack two sandwiches just in case you miss the first one."

As Chloe went to the bus, the two anti-fairies became her keychains.

"Oh... Our plan is working!", said Anti-cosmo making sure Chloe didn't hear him. "Next thing we know is that she'll wish for that blasted barrier to be gone!"

Their plan was working. With Chloe's real parents gone, they were this close to make sure that she would wish it without any interruptions. And by the end of this, we should all learn that to never trust people who look evil and unusual such as anti-fairies but they're nice to you. They'll just use you for themselves.

Chapter 11: 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐱𝐢𝐞'𝐬 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫

Chapter Text

As Chloe stepped on the bus, she saw a hand waving at her.

"Over here, Chloe!", Trixie called.

Chloe walked over to her. She saw her and Veronica sitting together.

"Hey!", said Chloe, smiling as she took a seat next to them. "What's up?"

Trixie and Veronica exchanged a knowing look, grins spreading across both of their faces.

"We have a secret.", said Trixie, her voice tinged with excitement.

Chloe raised an eyebrow, intrigue sparking in her eyes. "What? What secret?"

"You know our teacher, Mr. Crocker?", said Trixie.

"What about him?", Chloe asked.

"We're throwing a party at his house!", Veronica said. "Popular kids only."

"That's a shame...", Chloe sighed. "I'm not one of them. Guess I have to not go?"

Trixie leaned in closer. "But we'll make you popular. You were going to listen to me to fit in, remember?"

"Yeah... I remember...", said Chloe. "Be popular... Yay...!"

"Do you not want to fit in?", Trixie asked.

"No! I do!", said Chloe.

Trixie and Veronica high-fived each other, thrilled that Chloe had agreed to their plan.

"You're gonna love it, Chloe!", said Trixie. "We'll teach you everything you need to know about fitting in. You're gonna be the most popular girl in school!"

-★-

As class began, Chloe sat at her desk next to Timmy. Mr.Crocker walked in holding a long piece of paper that was folded.

"If any of you don't remember what I said yesterday, you're doing a history project in pairs.", he said. "Everyone find a partner and don't fight over Turner."

Everyone moved their desk away from Timmy except for Chloe. While everyone else was finding a partner, Anti-cosmo saw Timmy who still didn't have a partner. He planted an evil grin on his face.

"Chloe, why don't you become partners with that buck toothed boy?", he said.

"You mean Timmy? Okay."

Timmy's eyes widened slightly as Chloe approached.

"Hi, Timmy. I guess we're partners for the project.", Chloe said cheerfully. "Any ideas for a topic? I was thinking about the French Revolution."

Anti-cosmo snickered, enjoying the tension between the two. It was just as he planned.

"Sure. We can be partners.", said Timmy. "Though I'm not sure that we will be doing the French Revolution."

"Do you have something else in mind?", Chloe asked.

"No. Mr.Crocker just picks out what we should do."

"Since everyone has a partner, I'll give you what you should do.", said Denzel as he unfolded the piece of paper that tolled on the ground. "Timmy Turner and Chloe Carmichael, you'll be doing a history about FAIRIES!"

"Mr.Crocker, if you don't mind me saying something.", said Chloe. "When you have the prompts down where it says 'History of fairies', you put next to it 'for Turner and his partner if he gets one' "

"No it doesn't.", said Crocker.

"Yes it does.", said Chloe.

I would tell you this right now that the back and forth responses between Chloe and her teacher would be so long that it probably took over two hundred words.

"Aha!", Mr.Crocker cried in triumph. "You said it doesn't!"

"No I didn't-"

"I'm not going back and forth with you. I have to give students their prompts.", Denzel interrupted.

Chloe watched as Mr. Crocker grinned in victory, feeling her cheeks heat up with embarrassment. She had gotten caught up in the repetition and hadn't realised the mistake she made.

She glanced over at Timmy, who seemed equally amused by the situation. Chloe sighed, feeling grateful that he didn't seem embarrassed by her blunder. Maybe this was the start of a friendship between them.

"Now that I finally gave you all something to work on your history projects, I gotta catch a plane to Spain.", said Crocker as he picked up two suitcases. "Gotta make sure they don't catch me soon."

Before she could ask who was going to catch him, people who were in suits broke down the door.

"There he is!", said a man.

"Stop right there!", said a woman.

"You won't take me alive!", he then broke out of a window and then started running with them chasing him.

Chloe's mouth was wide open. Confused and shocked at what she just saw unraveled. "What the actual fu-"

"Language, dear.", Anti-cosmo said to Chloe.

"I was going to say fudge."

"Oh, then apologies."

"Wow!", said Timmy. "Wishing Mr.Crocker would get chased by the FBI was the best wish ever- I-I mean... Hi Chloe!"

Chloe raised an eyebrow confused of what he meant by wishing.

"He probably has anti-fairy godparents.", Chloe thought. "But Anti-cosmo told me that he and Anti-wanda only escaped. So maybe he has fairy godparents."

Chloe just shook her head and forgot what Timmy had completely said.

-★-

"Here's a thing.", said Trixie as the three of them sat at lunch. "When you're popular, you can't talk to people like him."

She pointed to Timmy who sat down with his friends.

"Oh, I didn't know.", said Chloe.

"It's alright.", said Trixie. "We'll give you a second chance."

Chloe's eyes lit up with gratitude. "Thank you, Trixie. I appreciate it."

She glanced over at Timmy again, this time feeling a flicker of admiration. Despite his oddities, he had a spirit she couldn't help but admire. Suddenly, she remembered the project they were paired up for and felt a surge of determination. This project could be her chance to not only improve her popularity but also to build a genuine friendship with Timmy.

"The first step to being popular is to put on some makeup.", said Trixie. "There's no limit of being too pretty. Put on this."

Trixie then took out some blush. She put some Chloe who coughed after.

"Trust me Chloe, you definitely need to put some on.", she said. "And you definitely need to do something with those clothes."

"What's wrong with the way I dress?", Chloe asked.

"That dress looks like they're rags on top of each other.", said Trixie. "I won't criticise the ribbon on your hair. It looks good on you."

"And those keychains,", said Veronica as she took them off her bag. "I don't think any popular kid has those."

Chloe realised that it was Anti-wanda and Anti-cosmo who she was holding. "Wait! They're fragile!"

"How? They're just keychains. Nothing bad's going to happen."

As Chloe tried to take them from her hands, Veronica let out a scream and then she dropped them. Chloe quickly catches her godparents with her hand. She then looked at Veronica who had blood dripping from her finger. She then turned to Anti-wanda who chewed a bit of Veronica's skin.

"Anti-wanda!", Chloe whispered.

"What? It was self defense!"

Chloe shuddered, feeling a mix of relief and apprehension. On the one hand, she was grateful that her godparents were safe. But on the other hand, it was quite unnerving to see Anti-wanda bite Veronica, even if it was in self-defence.

"Well, that was unpleasant...", Chloe mumbled, her tone a mix of concern and confusion. "Sorry about that, Veronica. Are you okay?"

The entire cafeteria had their eyes focused on the girls. A woman who had ginger hair who was the principal, Geraldine Waxelplax walked over to them.

"Is something wrong?", Principal Waxelplax asked.

"Nothing's wrong.", Chloe lied.

"Yes there is!", Veronica cried. "One of Chloe's keychains bit me!"

"Bit you?", Geraldine repeated. "How on earth would it do that?"

"Maybe it was those sharp edges.", Chloe lied. "Those sharp edges can be scary. Sorry about that, Principal Waxelplax."

Principal Waxelplax raised an eyebrow, clearly not fully buying the explanation. "Well, I suppose that makes sense. Anyway, let's get you to the nurse's office to get that seen to, Veronica. Chloe, I'd appreciate it if you would come by my office after school."

Chloe nodded, her mind racing with thoughts. She had a feeling that this day was about to get even more complicated.

Chapter 12: 𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦

Chapter Text

As the bell rang signaling school was over, Chloe went to Ms.Waxelplax's office. She sat down in a chair while she was typing on her computer.

"Chloe, I expect you know why you're here.", said Geraldine.

"Because one of my keychains made Veronica bleed?", said Chloe.

"Exactly.", she said. "She got a bad nick on her finger. Though you won't be getting in trouble since it's your first time."

"Can I go now?", Chloe asked.

"For safety reasons, I have to check your bag. Then you can leave.", she said.

"I thought teachers weren't allowed to."

"Unless of a safety reason."

Chloe sighed and gave her bag to Ms. Waxelplax. Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda quickly turned into bracelets on Chloe's wrist. As Geraldine opened her bag, she took out a medkit.

"Chloe, why do you have this?", she asked.

"For safety reasons if someone or me gets seriously hurt.", said Chloe.

She then took out a Flint and steel. "And this?"

"That was when me and my parents were camping at Peru. I completely forgot to take it out.", said Chloe.

Geraldine took out a big sharp knife. "My god! What's this doing here?!"

"That's my dad's. He told me to put it in my bag when we were in Peru.", said Chloe.

She then took out a plant. "I guess this is fine..."

She then tried to touch it but Chloe stopped her. "Ms.Waxelplax! That's poisonous!"

"Poisonous?!"

"Yeah. That was from Peru."

Ms.Waxelplax took a deep breath and put down the plant. Her body in still position. "Chloe, I don't believe your story."

"That the plant was poisonous or-"

"That all of items except the medkit was from Peru.", she said. "I have to give your parents a call then."

"They're outside the school waiting for me.", Chloe lied.

"Oh alright.", said Geraldine. "I suppose you can bring them to me."

Chloe then walked out of the office. Her godparents transformed into their normal forms and looked at Chloe.

"Well, that was a close call.", Anti-wanda remarked, a mischievous grin on her face. "You're really putting my biting skills to the test today!"

"Anti-cosmo, Anti-wanda, I need you two to pretend you're my parents to Principal Waxelplax.", said Chloe. "I wish you two looked like normal adults."

With a flick of both of their wands, the two Anti-fairies looked like adults. Anti-cosmo wore what a gentleman from the old days looked like while Anti-wanda was casual. She had a black top that exposed her belly, a denim jacket and short denim pants.

"How do we look?", Anti-cosmo asked.

"Perfect!", said Chloe.

Anti-wanda, with her usual flair, twirled and laughed. "I feel like a super model! I could get used to this!"

Anti-cosmo chuckled, "But remember, we're here to deceive the principal, not to start a fashion parade, my dear."

As the anti-fairies began to walk with confidence, Chloe couldn't help but feel a flicker of nervousness mixed with optimism. With her unusual 'parents' by her side, she was determined to get through this ordeal. Chloe then knocked on the principle's door.

"Come in."

She opened the. As Geraldine looked up, she had a shocked expression when her eyes met Anti-wanda and Anti-cosmo.

"I have my parents.", said Chloe.

"Hello, Clarice.", said Anti-cosmo.

In case any of you don't know, Clarice is a Latin name meaning Bright or Clear.

"Well, I didn't think your appearances would be this when talking to you on the phone.", said Geraldine, walking over to them and taking out her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you-"

Anti-wanda then bit her open hand causing her to scream.

"Bad wife! Bad!", Anti-cosmo scolded. "No biting people!"

Anti-wanda then let go of Ms.Waxelplax's hand, pouting.

"I'm terribly sorry, miss.", he said. "My wife is not very normal, but all and all I love her."

"I understand...", she said, rubbing her hand. "I suppose your daughter takes it from you then. Right, Mr.Carmichael?"

"Oh, yes. She does.", Anti-cosmo answered. "But I wouldn't mind if Chloe would take it from her mother."

"So..."

"And please don't be frightened of my wife.", he interrupted. "She may be weird, but she is very friendly once you get to know her. Weird is a nice thing, you know."

"Alright then.", said Geraldine. She then kneeled down to Chloe and whispered, "Are you being kidnapped? Do you want me to call the police?"

Chloe felt a glimmer of guilt at the principal's concern for her well-being. Though Anti-wanda and Anti-cosmo were strange, they weren't evil (or were they?).

"It's alright, Principal Waxelplax. I promise, I'm not being kidnapped.", Chloe said, trying to sound as convincing as possible. "They're just my parents, and they have... odd personalities. But I promise, everything is fine."

Principal Waxelplax hesitated a moment, studying Chloe's face. Finally, she smiled, seemingly reassured by Chloe's words.

"I heard that you wanted something to discuss with us?", he asked.

"Oh, yes.", said Ms.Waxelplax. "Can you bring your daughter out of my office for a second?"

"Sure thing.", said Anti-cosmo.

He took Chloe out of the office and closed the door. He turned to face Anti-wanda who was close to Geraldine.

"Dear, don't get too excited with the principal.", he said.

"Why not?", Anti-wanda replied, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "She seems nice. Can we keep her?"

Anti-cosmo chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "No, dear. We can't keep her. That's called kidnapping."

"I see that you two are the... Amusing couple.", said Geraldine as she stepped back into her seat. "Let's begin, please."

The couples sat down.

"Your daughter has brought some... Interesting things to school.", she explained. "Such as her keychains. They gave a nick on a student's finger."

"It was sure delicious!"

Anti-cosmo nudged her. "What my dear wife means by is that she's terribly sorry."

"And that's not all.", she said looking at Anti-wanda. "Your daughter has brought things from Peru as she said."

She then took out the Flint and steel, the big sharp knife and the poisonous plant.

"Yes. They were all from Peru.", he said. "I'll make sure she doesn't do it ever again. Goodbye!"

As they got off their seat and headed to the door, Geraldine stopped them. "Wait!"

They both turned around. "Yes? What is it?"

"There's something else I need to discuss with you two.", said Geraldine.

"And what would that be?", asked Anti-cosmo, a hint of unease in his voice. He could tell that something more serious was on the principal's mind.

"Are you really Chloe's parents?"

"Of course we are.", he lied. "Why wouldn't we?"

"We met in person last time when you enrolled your daughter in.", she said. "And you two look nothing alike from last time."

"Ya' said we were on the phone.", said Anti-wanda.

"That was just to make sure that you were her parents.", she said. "And as a principal of Dimmsdale elementary, I care for the children's safety. And if you two kidnappers like it or not, I will bring you to justice."

Anti-wanda laughed loudly while Anti-cosmo chuckled softly. Giving Geraldine chills behind her back.

"We're not Kidnappers.", he said walking closer to her. "We're much worse if you try and get her to not trust us. And we can't have that, can we Anti-wanda?"

His wife nodded in response. "That's right!"

Principal Waxelplax felt a flicker of fear as Anti-cosmo approached, sensing the threat behind his words. She had dealt with many difficult situations in her career, but this was a different level of unease. She knew deep down that there was something off about this couple; their strange mannerisms, their unusual appearance, and their refusal to acknowledge their similarities to Chloe all hinted at a hidden truth.

"What... What are you?", she stuttered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Anti-cosmo chuckled softly, his eyes gleaming with a chilling glint. "We are magical creatures, Principal Waxelplax. We aren't from this world. Though we are dangerous, we try to remain harmless and friendly. Especially if you play nice, that is..."

Geraldine quickly picked up the sharp knife that Chloe had and used it to defend herself. "Don't come any closer!"

The principal pointed the knife at the pair, her hands trembling. She was scared for her life.

Anti-cosmo raised his hands in a mock surrender gesture, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "There's no need for violence, Principal Waxelplax. Let's just have a civil discussion."

"No!", she yelled. "If you take one more step closer, I'll-"

Anti-cosmo then took out his wand and pointed it at Geraldine. She then was focused on it. She dropped the knife and the spark in her eyes was gone.

"You'll what?", he asked.

She didn't say anything. It was clear that she was in a trance.

"That's what I love to hear.", he snickered. "Now, repeat after me."

-★-

As Chloe sat outside, she thought of what was happening in her office. She hoped that Anti-wanda wasn't weird or unsettling. As the seconds walked by, she heard someone.

"Give it back, Francis!"

Chloe was filled with curiosity. She walked over to where the voice coming from and saw a girl who had black hair which was in pigtails. She wore a black jumper with a grey and white striped shirt. For her facials, she had purple glasses and braces.

"Give me back my sewing kit, Francis!", she cried.

The person who was probably named Francis was taller than her. He had black hair and blue eyes. He wore a black sleeveless jacket with a grey shirt which had a lightning strike on it and blue jeans.

"Or what?", he mocked. "What are you going to do?"

Chloe felt bad for the girl. She didn't want to get in trouble, but she couldn't just bare it. After all, it would mean that her kun-fu training skills were nothing.

"You give it back to her!", Chloe said walking over to them.

Francis looked over at Chloe with a smug expression. "And who are you to give orders?" He held the girl's sewing kit high above her head, tauntingly.

Chloe stood her ground, refusing to back down. "It doesn't matter who I am. What matters is that you give her back what you stole."

"Or what?" he sneered, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "You gonna kick me or something?"

"Is that something you want?"

"Sure, go ahead. Try me."

Chloe wasted no time. She kicked Francis in the crotch making him fall to the ground, letting go of the sewing kit. It was clear that he froze after that harmful kick.

"Here you go.", Chloe said as she gave the girl her sewing kit back.

"Thank you.", she said as she looked at the Chloe. "Wait a minute! You're that girl who's now in the popular club! Are you going to make fun of me?"

"No!", said Chloe. "I'm not like them. Or not that I'm popular... Yet."

The girl eyed Chloe with a mix of disbelief and curiosity. "You're not? Why would you stand up for me then?"

"Because it's not right.", Chloe answered. "I'm Chloe. Chloe Carmichael."

The girl then smiled. "I'm Tootie."

They both stared at each other for a couple of seconds. Both of them thought that they would be friends. But Chloe knew if she wanted to be popular, she couldn't hang out with her.

"Oh, I have to go to my sewing club!", said Tootie. "Goodbye!"

Chloe waved back as she left and disappeared in the hallway. Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda went out of Geraldine's office to face Chloe. Chloe raised an eyebrow as she noticed the mischievous grins on Anti-cosmo and Anti-wanda's faces.

"What happened in there? What did you do?" She asked, feeling a tinge of apprehension.

"Nothing much, my dear.", Anti-cosmo said. "We were just having a grand time. Weren't we, miss Waxelplax?"

Geraldine stood at the door. Chloe noticed that her eyes didn't have any spark.

Chloe felt a chill run down her spine. Something was off about Principal Waxelplax, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

"Right...," Chloe said slowly, her heart racing. "Did you... Did you do something to her, Anti-cosmo?"

Anti-cosmo chuckled, seemingly amused by Chloe's unease. "Oh, you're so observant, my dear. We just had a little chat, that's all. No need to worry your pretty little head about it."

"Let's just go home then.", said Chloe. "Mom will probably be worried about me."

Chapter 13: 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐞? 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐞

Chapter Text

Chloe was in her room. She was doing her project with Timmy about the history of fairies. Anti-Cosmo was watching her while Anti-Wanda was peering in the small hole that was in the corner of her room.

"Chloe, I must say, I think you should take a break.", said Anti-Cosmo. "It has been at least two hours. Which is how much Anti-Wanda has been looking through that hole in your room."

"I'm looking for a mousy in there.", said Anti-Wanda.

"Anti-Wanda, there's no mice in there.", said Chloe. "If there was, my dad would have noticed and called the exterminator."

"And besides, what would you do with it?", Anti-Cosmo asked.

"I'd call it Caesar!", she responded. "Wait! I think I see one!"

She then bashed her head into the wall causing her to get stuck.

Anti-Cosmo then facepalmed. "Oh, Anti-Wanda I do love you so much. But you are such a twit."

He then tried to get his wife out by grabbing onto her feet and pulling it. As Chloe wrote down the notes, she saw the next chapter of the book. Anti-fairies.

"Oh, Anti-Cosmo, Anti-Wanda, I just found a chapter of your kind.", said Chloe.

Anti-Cosmo froze. If she found out about them and their true intentions, the plan would go wrong.

"Dear, I think I heard your mother call you.", Anti-Cosmo lied.

"Did she?", said Chloe.

"I didn't hear.", Anti-Wanda chimed in from the wall. "Get me outta' here, hubby!"

"In a moment, dear.", he said. "You should check if she did, Chloe."

As Chloe left her room, he quickly erased the chapter from the book. Anti-Wanda finally got herself out from the wall, her hair disheveled but unharmed.

"Why did you make her leave?", she asked.

"You know exactly why, dear.", Anti-Cosmo sighed. "We can't let her know about us. Not until the plan is complete."

Chloe then came back. "Turns out that she didn't."

"Then I must have hearing hallucinations."

Chloe then walked back to the book she was reading.

"Hey- what the-",said Chloe. "I swore that there's a chapter about you two..."

"Maybe you're just tired from all the research you did on the project.", he lied. "You should take a break. After all, you have a party to go to."

"Oh, yeah. Glad Trixie shared me the location.", said Chloe. "I need to look for something nice."

As Chloe looked through her closet, a mouse popped up in Anti-Wanda's hair.

"Mousy!"

She started chasing after it as the small rodent ran. As soon as she caught it, she opened her mouth...

"No, Anti-Wanda! Drop the mouse!" Chloe yelled.

Anti-Wanda, startled by Chloe's command, stopped in her tracks. She looked at the mouse in her hand and then at Chloe.

"But it's a snack!", she protested.

"But it's a harmless thing!", Chloe cried. "Look! It's even scared!"

"I think Chloe's right, my dear.", said Anti-Cosmo. "The poor thing is frightened. Let it go."

Anti-Wanda frowned but let go of it anyway.

"Goodbye, Caesar....", she said.

"I can't find anything good to wear!", said Chloe. "My dresses won't get myself fit in with the popular group."

"Let me help you dear.", he said.

Anti-Cosmo then raised his wand and got Chloe in a gothic dress

Chloe looked at herself in the mirror, utterly amazed at the transformation. The gothic dress was like nothing she had ever worn before.

"Anti-Cosmo, how... how did you do this?", she asked, her eyes wide with wonder.

"Oh, it's just a little magic, my dear.", he said with a smirk. "And, judging by that look on your face, I'll take it as you like the dress."

-★-

Timmy was in his room. His fairy godparentsCosmo, Wanda and his fairy godbrother, Poof were disguised as pet goldfish.

"What if Vicky's dad got a job in New Jersey and her family had to move?", said Timmy.

"Good thinking, Timmy!", said Cosmo.

"What does this have to do with New Jersey?", Wanda asked.

"Poof! Poof!", said Poof.

"Nothing's wrong with it.", said Timmy. "I wish that Vicky's dad got a job at New Jersey so she had to move!"

As Cosmo, Wanda and Poof raised their wands, it backfired. No poof, no spark, no nothing.

"Cosmo, Wanda, Poof, what's wrong?", Timmy asked.

"That's odd.", said Wanda. "Wishing for anybody to move is allowed. Unless..."

"Unless what, Wanda?", Timmy asked.

"Yeah.", said Cosmo. "I didn't listen."

"When an Anti-fairy uses magic nearby a fairy, the fairies magic backfires.", Wanda explained.

"But that's impossible. Anti-fairies are now trapped under that barrier.", said Timmy. "Unless one of them got away. Can you guys track down an Anti-fairy with your wands?"

Timmy's godparents waved their wands and it glowed.

"According to our magic, an Anti-fairy is nearby but not in your house."

Timmy's heart suddenly skipped a beat. If there was an Anti-fairy nearby, that meant that there was trouble afoot. He couldn't help but wonder what the Anti-fairy was doing, right now.

"If there's no Anti-fairy in my house, then where exactly is it?", he asked his godparents.

"Goodbye Mom!"

Timmy turned to where the sound was coming from. It was coming from Chloe.

"Hey! That's Chloe. My partner for the history project.", said Timmy.

"The wand says that the Anti-fairy is near her!", Wanda cried.

"But I don't see it.", said Timmy.

"Put the Anti-fairy Goggles on.", said Cosmo.

As Timmy put the goggles on, he didn't see it. "I still can't see them! I wish for a telescope!"

As they poofed up a telescope, Timmy peered in. As looked around to see the Anti-fairy, he saw his fairy godparents counterparts, Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda as Chloe's earrings!

"It's your counterparts!", Timmy cried.

"Let me see.", said Cosmo as he peered into the telescope. "Oh no! Wanda! It's our evil counterparts!"

"But why would they be here?", said Wanda. "Unless..."

"Wanda, spit it out!", said Timmy.

"Poof! Poof!", Poof cried.

"They could be her godparents!", said Wanda. "And they're using her to wish for evil!"

"But I thought they couldn't be godparents.", said Timmy.

"Remember in the Olympics where you placed a bet and if the Anti-fairies won, Anti-cosmo would be your fairy godfather?"

"Oh yeah.", said Cosmo. "Forgot about that. "

"This is bad, really bad!" Timmy exclaimed, his voice filled with urgency. "We need to stop them! But how?"

"We have to warn Chloe.", said Wanda. "But we need to warn her when they are not nearby."

Chapter 14: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲

Chapter Text

Chloe walked to Mr.Crocker's house. It wasn't a long walk. Just a thirty minute walk. As Chloe walked to the front door, Trixie was there with two boys. One was blonde and had blue eyes while one was dark skinned and had turquoise eyes.

"Chloe, I want you to meet two boys.", said Trixie. She then pointed at the blonde boy. "This is Tad." She then pointed at the dark skinned boy. "And this is Chad."

"It's a pleasure to meet you two.", Chloe said to them. "I'm Chloe. Chloe Carmichael."

Timmy was nearby them. He was watching Chloe thinking of how to stop Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda.

"I have to get in to that party.", said Timmy. "If I wish to be popular, they would find out what I'm trying to do."

"You have to think of something, sport.", said Wanda. "Once they fully taken advantage of Chloe, who knows what they'll do."

"You could probably wish for someone who was cool at your school, then went away because he was a total douche.", said Cosmo.

"That's it!", said Timmy. "I wish that my imaginary friend, Gary was here!"

As his godparents clicked their wands, their stood a boy with a red Jacket. He had black hair and shades. It was Gary.

"What the- where am I?", Gary said.

"Gary, I need your help.", said Timmy.

As soon as Gary saw him, he couldn't help but sneer. "Look what the cat dragged in. I thought you didn't want me anymore. After all, you did make me that club in that island."

"My classmate, Chloe has Cosmo and Wanda's evil opposites as her godparents and I need you to warn her before something bad happens.", Timmy explained. "Only could help because you were popular in my school."

"You know, saying you want my help after what you did is not cool-"

Timmy then gripped on Gary's shirt. "Listen here, Gary, I'll tell you what's not cool. Taking revenge on me for just locking you away in my mind is not cool. Leaving my mind because Cosmo left the door open and kidnapping my friends and family is not cool. And a girl who believes that Cosmo and Wanda's opposites are good making them taking advantage of her IS NOT COOL! SO ARE YOU GOING TO HELP ME OR WHAT?!"

"Okay! Okay! I'll help you!", Gary exclaimed. "Just let go of me!"

Timmy then dropped Gary and pointed at the window. "That's the girl."

"Which one? There's three of them.", said Gary.

"The one who's blonde and is wearing a black dress.", Timmy pointed to Chloe. "Don't mess it up."

"Alright then.", said Gary.

Gary walked to Mr.Crocker's house, but before he could ring the doorbell, Timmy stopped him.

"And one thing.", said Timmy. "Don't even think about taking Trixie."

"Fine.", Gary sighed.

Timmy walked away and his behind a fence. He gave Gary a thumbs up who gave him a thumbs up back. He then rang the doorbell. And there stood Trixie opening it.

"Gary?", she said. "I thought you were gone."

"I decided to come back.", he said. "Can I come in?"

"Well, you weren't invited. So... Oh nevermind!"

She dragged Gary into the house. Inside the house, the party was in full swing. Music blared, lights flashed, and there was an air of excitement in the room. Chloe, dressed in her gothic attire, was talking to a group of kids who were eyeing her appreciatively. He walked over to her which made the kids stare at him in admiration.

"Hey there.", said Gary. "Nice dress you got there."

Chloe turned around to Gary. She blushed at his comment. "Thank you. No one has ever said that in my life."

"How could they?", he asked. "A girl like you deserves compliments like that. I'm Gary."

"I'm Chloe.", she said. "Chloe Carmichael."

"You come here to Dimmsdale often?", he asked.

"My family just moved here recently.", Chloe answered.

Anti-Cosmo disguised as Chloe's eating with his wife, watched the two talk intently. "That boy looks a lot like Timothy."

"But cooler.", Anti-Wanda chimed in.

Anti-Cosmo couldn't help but grumble as he observed Gary talking to Chloe. -The boy looked exactly like Timmy, only cooler.- He hated to admit it, but it was true.

"I don't like him talking to her.", Anti-Cosmo muttered to his wife. "We should intervene."

"Let's go upstairs.", said Gary as he took Chloe's hand.

Chloe couldn't help but look at him in admire. It was like she was beginning to like him.

"𝘚𝘯𝘢𝘱 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵, 𝘊𝘩𝘭𝘰𝘦!", she thought to herself. "𝘔𝘰𝘮 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘺𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴!"

It wasn't long before they got to a room. Gary let Chloe sit on a bed which was entirely uncomfortable.

"Tell me about yourself.", said Gary.

"Well, I used to live in the city.", she said. "My parents go on explorations without me so I mostly take care of myself."

"That means you invite your friends to your house most of the time?", Gary asks.

"Oh, no. I'm not allowed to."

"But they won't notice, will they?"

Gary was right. She could've let her friends have a party at her house. Her parents would never notice. But she was never a rule breaker through.  It was tempting, but at the same time, Chloe couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt.

"I mean... I'm not supposed to...", she said, her voice hesitant. "It's not allowed, and I don't want to get in trouble."

"Chad is going to chug on a two litre drink!", Veronica yelled.

"I guess we have to watch, don't we?", said Chloe.

"Let's go then.", said Gary.

Anti-Cosmo then had an evil thought in his head. One that will get rid Gary 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺. He waved his wand he made a salt shaker appear at the door. If he opened it, the salt will tip over and fall. Leading him to his fate.

Gary walked to the door, his hand moving closer to the handle....

"Gary, your laces are untied.", said Chloe. "You should tie them away from the door so you won't get hurt."

"Thank you, Chloe.", he said. "It won't be cool if were untied."

As Gary tied his shoes away from the door, footsteps approached the two. Tad opened the door. Making the salt fall over.

"Hey guys-"

A piano then fell. Crushing the floor he was standing on him and him. Gary (who finished tying his shoe) and Chloe stood there shocked.

"Tad?", she called. "Are you okay down there?"

"Did a piano just fall on him?", Trixie asked downstairs. Her voice sounding concerned.

"Tad? Tad?", Chad said downstairs. "Tad are you- OH MY GOD! TAD!"

Chloe and Gary then ran downstairs to see what happened clearly. There was blood. Tad didn't seem to be moving. Chad shoke his head. And Veronica and Trixie froze there.

"Tad! Wake up! Don't leave me man!", Chad cried. "It won't be the same!"

"Check his pulse!", Veronica cried.

"I can't seem to find his hand though!", said Chad. "Don't stand there! Do something!"

Gary then walked to the phone and dialed Timmy's number.

"Come on. Pick up, Timmy.", said Gary.

"Hello?", said Timmy through the phone.

"Timmy, a piano fell on someone out of nowhere and I don't know what to do!", Gary exclaimed.

"Did you see anything before it happened?", Timmy asked.

"Well, I did see a salt shaker at the door..."

"That was Chloe's godparents!", Timmy explained. "They are known for making bad luck on Friday the thirteenth."

"You mean that could be me?!", Gary cried.

"Gary, whatever you do, watch out!"

Gary then looked at Chloe who was with the other popular kids. He could now see the Anti-fairies clearly. They were her earrings. The realization hit him like a ton of bricks, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for Chloe.

"Poor girl...", he murmured. "She has no idea they're using her."

Chloe was overwhelmed. Her breathing became quicker. She was scared if he was dead. She wanted Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda to comfort her, but it would blow their cover. Gary then walked over to Chloe and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Let's go somewhere that's not overwhelming."

She followed Gary into a basement. Gary watched his steps to make sure he wouldn't step on salt shakers, mirrors, black cats, you name it. As the both got down on the final step, Gary took a chair and made Chloe sit on it.

"Why...", she managed to say. "He didn't do anything bad, did he? It's like misfortune came for him."

Gary gulped as she said the last four words. It could've been him if Chloe didn't notice his laces were untied. He had to make sure Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda were away from her.

"Earrings make yourself overwhelm easily.", he lied. "Let me take them off for you."

"No! They're mine!", she said.

"Come on, Chloe.", he said. His hands coming closer to them. "It must be hurting your ears."

"Stop it!", she yelled.

"Chloe-"

"I told you Gary! Stop it!"

His hands flew in the air causing him to flick on a switch. The room exposed everything. It was as if you're in a lab in a movie. There were posters saying '𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘳!' to which Gary couldn't help but feel amused.

"𝘏𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘮𝘺.", he thought to himself.

"Gary! Please help!", Trixie called.

Gary then went upstairs to them while Chloe stayed. Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda transformed back to their normal forms.

"I must say, your teacher has many machines used for catching fairies.", said Anti-Cosmo.

"Look! Free sandwich!", said Anti-Wanda as she lunged at it. As she grabbed it, a butterfly net was thrown over her. "Aaahhh! I'm trapped!"

Anti-cosmo came to her rescue and took the butterfly net off. "Be more careful, dear."

Chloe looked around. She came across photos of children. It started off with a boy with ginger hair. Then to Timmy... Then her.

"No wonder why he was chased by the FBI.", said Chloe. "I'm in this too."

It was then that she heard footsteps coming down the basement stairs. She quickly hid behind a shelf, waiting to see who it was. She could see the head of Gary.

"Chloe?"

"I'm here.", she said coming out of her hiding spot.

"Oh, thank goodness.", he said as he walked over to her. "You.. Took your earrings off."

"Uh... Yes. I did.", she said as she looked around to see where her godparents were hiding.

"I need to tell you something.", said Gary. "Have you ever heard of Anti-fairies?"

Chloe's heart skipped a beat. Why would he ask this? If he found out, they would go away forever. "No. Why?"

"Well about Anti-fairies-"

"An ambulance is here!"

Chloe quickly went upstairs. Before Gary could tell her to stop, his mouth was gone. Upstairs, Chloe ran outside and saw an ambulance parked outside the house. A team of medical personnel was busy loading Tad onto a stretcher. She saw Trixie stare in horror.

"Trixie!", Chloe said as she ran over to her. "Is Tad alright?"

"His face...", Trixie began to say. "His face is ruined! Completely ruined!"

That was when Chloe began to realize. Tad was dead. Completely dead.

Chapter 15: 𝐀 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐲𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐝

Chapter Text

Chloe couldn't sleep at all after that. She didn't tell her parents about the party. She couldn't even look at her Dad with his blonde hair reminding her. Gary had nowhere to go. So he thought of the best thing to do: live with the kid who created you. His mouth came back with just a simple wish from Cosmo and Wanda.

"How can I tell her without any of them knowing?", Gary asked. "I almost died to them!"

"Gary, Anti-fairies are known for bad luck so of course they have their ways of knowing.", said Timmy. "We gotta think of something else."

-★-

"We all know that we miss him very much.", said Ms.Waxelplax. "And we hope that his family are doing very well."

The school had found out about Tad's death. It made Chloe's blood run cold in a bad way. There were flowers at the stage with his picture in the middle. Once Chad was at the stage, facing Tad's picture, he cried. As she was told, they were a great duo.

Chloe's tears didn't show. Not because she was a Carmichael, it was because that she hardly knew him. As the assembly was over, everyone walked out leaving Chloe just standing there.

"Death is such a sad thing, isn't it?", Anti-Cosmo said in his normal form. "You could never escape it. Unless you were immortal, that is."

"Not now, Anti-Cosmo.", said Chloe.

"What's wrong, dear?", he asked. "You only met him once."

"I know. But he died.", she said. "And I witnessed it. So did Trixie, Veronica, Gary and Chad."

Anti-Cosmo couldn't help but feel delighted at her reaction. Even if he wanted Gary to die at his trap, he loved seeing Chloe in despair. Anti-Wanda appeared by her husband's side, eyeing Chloe with a sly smirk.

"Don't worry, dear.", she said sweetly. "Death is a part of life. Ya'll get used to it soon enough."

Anti-Cosmo chuckled at his wife's words, then turned his attention back to Chloe."You know... death isn't the only thing that's part of life."

Chloe looked at her godparents with a puzzled expression, unsure of where this conversation was heading.

"There are many other things too", said Anti-Wanda.

"Like betrayal.", Anti-Cosmo added.

"What do you mean by that?", Chloe asked.

"Such as your parents.", he said. "They wanted you to be in an asylum. Next will be that Trixie girl."

Chloe stared at him. He didn't like how he mentioned how her parents wanted to put her in a asylum. Or that he thought Trixie would betray her. "But... She wouldn't..."

"She would.", he said. "Trixie is tall, pretty and popular. And look at you. Short, have a chipped tooth and training to be popular by her. It will be obvious she will make fun of you thinking that you two will be friends."

Chloe couldn't believe what he was saying. Trixie was a nice girl. She would never turn on her.

"But... she's so friendly.", Chloe protested.

Anti-Cosmo chuckled at her words. "Appearances can be deceiving, my dear. We're trying to look out for you. "Don't you trust us? We 𝘢𝘳𝘦 your Anti-fairy godparents, after all."

Chloe looked at her godparents, feeling torn. On the one hand, they were her Anti-fairy godparents, on the other, they were trying to convince her that her friend was going to betray her.

"I... I trust you...", she said quietly, feeling uncertain.

-★-

In the Carmichael house, there stood her 'parents' with a girl who looked sixteen with ginger hair and pink eyes stood in front of them.

"Thank you for wanting to babysit our daughter, Chloe.", said Connie. "She never had a babysitter in her life."

"No problem, miss Carmichael.", she said. "I just 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 kids! Me and her are going to be the best pals!"

"We understand that you babysit many kids according to our neighbors next door.", said Clark. "So-"

"Oh, where is she?", the teenager said. "I wanna pinch her cheeks!"

"She's at school.", said Connie. "She won't be long... I hope."

With the person who Chloe's parents hired, you probably think that she's actually nice to children. But you're wrong. Looks 𝘤𝘢𝘯 be deceiving.

Chapter Text

As Chloe returned to her home, she opened the door and saw a sixteen year old girl with ginger hair.

"Who are you?", Chloe asked.

The girl crouched down to her level. "Why I'm your babysitter, silly."

"Ah, Chloe, there you are.", said Clark. "This is Vicky, your babysitter. Vicky, this is our daughter, Chloe."

"Oh, isn't she cute?", Vicky said as she pinched Chloe's cheek.

"We'll be back by ten. So make sure you order pizza.", said Connie.

"Bye! Have a grand time at the restaurant!", said Vicky. "Don't get hurt."

Chloe was also going to say goodbye, but Vicky slammed the door and turned to face her. The sweet expression on her face was gone. It was as if she had split personalities.

"Alright, twerpette. Go to bed.", Vicky demanded.

"But it's not even past my curfew.", said Chloe.

"Oh, but it's not past my curfew!", she imitated Chloe. "Does it look like I care? BED!!"

See what I meant in the last chapter?

Chloe was taken aback by Vicky's sudden change in attitude. She had been so sweet and cheerful when talking to her parents, but now she was completely different.

"Alright, alright...", Chloe grumbled, knowing there was no point in arguing with her. She turned to go upstairs to her room, but Vicky grabbed her arm.

"Wait a second, twerpette.", Vicky said, a sly grin on her face. "We need to establish some rules around here."

Chloe rolled her eyes, irritated at being referred to as 'twerpette.'

"What kind of rules?", she asked, crossing her arms.

"First, you have to always obey me. No argues.", she said. "Don't bother me while I watch TV and if I get bored, we can have some 𝘧𝘶𝘯." She then showed a chainsaw and a flamethrower. "Got it?"

Chloe's eyes widened in horror as she saw the tools in Vicky's hands. Was she seriously about to use those if she didn't follow her orders?

"G-got it...", Chloe stuttered.Vicky's smirk grew wider at Chloe's response.

"Good.", she said. "Now get your ass upstairs and go to bed. I have a show to watch."

Chloe obeyed her babysitter's command and quickly went upstairs to her room, feeling uneasy and afraid.

"Sweet girl.", Anti-Cosmo said sarcastically as he transformed back into his normal form. "Adore her fangs."

Anti-Wanda chuckled at her husband's remark. "Oh, she reminds me of mah' sister."

"Quiet, she'll hear you two.", said Chloe.

"Oh, apologies, my dear.", he said. "You know, you forgot to wish for something. Something that you were going to wish for in the beginning-"

"Anti-Cosmo, I mean it!", she shushed.

He was taken aback by Chloe. He wanted her to wish for the barrier to be broken. It was what she intended at the start.

"Oh, feisty are we?" he said amusedly. "Very well then. I won't mention the wish. Not yet at least."

-★-

The 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 Clark and Connie were still in Sheldon's diorama. They were in the attic moved by the fake ones. They found a way to get food by using a scarf and going to get some crumbs. It was too risky for them to warn Chloe. Now that they're tiny.

"Clark, what should we do?", Connie asked. "I'm worried about Chloe."

"Me too.", said Clark. "We have to find a way to get Chloe-"

"How?", said Connie. "It's been two days. Chloe now thinks we hate her and she is with those evil fairies or something! I can't just stay here and wait for a prayer to be answered!"

"I know that you're worried about Chloe.", he said. "But-"

He then saw Connie pale. She was holding her stomach mostly to a cramp. But Clark thought of something else.

"Connie...", he began. "You're..."

"Yes Clark. I am.", she said. "I was meant to tell you when I found out. But ever since..."

"That's wonderful!", Clark exclaimed in excitement. "We're having another child! And-"

He then saw the sadness of Connie's face. "Oh..."

"I'm scared, Clark.", said Connie in a hushed whisper. "The baby could be due anyday. We can't let them live like this."

Connie suddenly clutched her stomach again, wincing in pain.

"It's okay. It's okay.", he said pulling her into a tight embrace. "We'll find a way out of here. For our sake and the baby's sake."

Connie calmed down after. Clark brought a chair for her to sit in.

"If our baby's a boy, what should we call him?", she asked

Clark thought for a moment, then a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. " How about Charlie?"

"I like that. Charlie...", she repeated, trying out the name on her tongue. "It's a nice name."

Clark sat next to her, placing a gentle hand on her stomach. "And if it's a girl?",

Connie's smile widened as she placed her hand on top of Clark's. "I've always liked the name Clara. It's a beautiful name."

They sat there for a moment in silence, both lost in their thoughts about their unborn child. But then, a sudden noise snapped them back to reality.

"What was that?", Clark asked, listening intently for any further sounds.

"I don't know...", she whispered. "But it sounded like it came from downstairs."

As Vicky watched TV, she sipped a glass of orange juice from the kitchen. She glanced at Chloe's room. She hasn't been out of her room since. Most kids whom she babysat would come out of their room and ask if they could eat or drink which all the time would be at her mercy after.Vicky smirked to herself as she looked at Chloe's door.

She couldn't help but feel a sense of power and control over the little girl. After all, she was the one in charge here.As she continued to drink her orange juice, she heard a soft creaking sound coming from the kitchen. She listened closely, waiting to see if it would happen again.

The creaking sound came again, followed by a soft thump. Vicky frowned, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. Was someone or something in the kitchen? She set down her orange juice on the coffee table and got up from the couch, slowly making her way towards the kitchen.

As she went to the kitchen, nothing was there. She thought that it was Chloe just trying to get something to eat. Which made her sneer.

"Ohh... Twerp~", Vicky said in a sing-song voice, walking around the kitchen. "I know you're in there~"

She opened the pantry, cabinets, cupboards, even the fridge, but she couldn't find her anywhere. Vicky grumbled as she looked under a table, frustrated because she couldn't find her.

"That's it, twerp.", Vicky growled. "If you don't show yourself, I'll-"

The power went out.

"What the...?" She managed to whisper, her heart beating furiously in her chest.

The kitchen was eerily silent, the only sound being the steady tick-tock of the clock on the wall. Vicky slowly walked, trying to find Chloe. She saw the pantry's lights turn on. She smirked.

"There you are-"

As she skipped to the pantry, she didn't see Chloe. There was a kid. But it didn't look like her at all. Instead, it was a boy with ginger hair and he wore a green shirt and jeans. To her horror, it looked like Vicky knew him.

"Bro- broth-"

"𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘺? 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘺?"

Vicky was now back in the living room. The lights were on. And Chloe and her parents were right beside her.

"What the- where am-"

"You were fast asleep.", Connie interjected. "Must've been the pizza."

Vicky looked around. As she saw the kitchen, she quickly went to the pantry. As she opened it, no one was in there.

"Vicky, what's the matter?", Clark asked.

"Where is he?", Vicky said which got the family shocked.

"Who's he?", Connie asked.

"Don't play with me!", she yelled. "I know he's here!"

"Maybe you just had a dream.", Chloe said.

Before Vicky could do or say anything to her, she saw two house candles that was blue. Her eyes widened in horror. She looked at Chloe, then at Chloe's parents.

"Vicky, sweetie, what are you talking about?", Connie asked, taking a step closer to her.

"Get away from me!", she yelled. "You're not her parents!"

Connie and Clark looked at each other in confusion. "What are you talking about? We are-"

Vicky dashed out of the house. Leaving Connie, Clark and Chloe there confused.

"What was that about?"

Anti-Wanda and Anti-Cosmo were still disguised as candles. They both looked at the outside door in some certain glee.

"So, she still knows what happened?", Anti-Cosmo said, his voice dripping with mischief.

"It appears so...", Anti-Wanda replied, her voice just as mischievous. "Though it seems she can't differentiate between reality and her nightmares or both anymore."

They both chuckled as they watched Vicky's figure disappear into the night.
