Summary
Phoenix Wright had never hated a person more in his life. Never felt the same seething, uncontrollable rage that boils in his bloodstream quite like he had for the past six months. Never wanted to sock another man in the jaw quite like he did in that moment.
He had made plenty of mistakes, but when his life effectively downward-spiraled in the span of half a year, something in him snapped.

Phoenix Wright never wanted for anything more in his life. Since that day at the classroom trial, all he wanted was to be by Miles' side. Platonically, of course. So when Miles Edgeworth was swept away to, god knows where, after the unfortunate death of his father, the two had made a promise to meet again.
Now, Phoenix was a college theater-major, with a pretty red-haired girlfriend to boot. But when he heard that "Up Incoming Demon Attorney" Miles Edgeworth now went to his university, his only logical reaction was to drop all of his hopes and dreams to attempt to reconcile with his childhood best friend.
But things can never be that easy, can they?
