Chapter Text

-------

A giggle left her lips as she stared affectionately at her friend. A wyvern or something close (A type of dragon) with blue scales and gold feathers, he had scars on one side of his face and sides. Her bleeding heart had her check how healed they were once she had his trust. They healed fine and she was happy to say that he was physically fine too.

He was slightly smaller than most wyverns but still larger than her. She was a tall woman, though not as tall as she could have been.

Her hair was wild and though she takes care of it, she didn’t go extravagant lengths to pretty herself. She didn’t have a reason to, so she usually goes for practicality.

Her skin…. She doesn’t want to go into details about how it brought her problems. She… had spots. Patches of skin that not many have due to an illness.

A rumble snapped her out of her thoughts as she looked towards the source, her friend. Who looked at her with a worried nudge. She shook her head and gave a small smile.

”I’m fine, just thinking.”, she said.

It was true she had a lot to think about. To the point where she may get a familiar to help delegate the tasks. She was a witch that dabbled in healing. Her parents were medical professionals and before their passing she wanted to go that route too, but that wasn’t an option anymore.

Sadly, she had to be the one to carry her culture on her back and she didn’t know all of the traditions, only the ones her parents and teachers taught her. Major events stuck, but small things were forgotten; perhaps a lost book or two would have them documented?

Her friend nudged her once more and she finally decided to pay attention to them.
