I froze in my tracks when I felt a cold piece of metal being pressed against the back of my neck.
"Don't turn around unless I want you to.", he whispered in a stereotypically suave British accent.
"Sure.", I replied, assuming I was being mugged. "If you want my wallet, you can have it."
"No, just information."
Intrigued, I raised an eyebrow. "About what?"
"Someone jacked my ride, and I want it back.", he cut to the chase.
I smirked. "Well, I can assure you I had nothing to do with it. I'm but a simple tailor."
"Really now?", he smirked in return, violently spinning me around and slamming me against a wall in the dingy, deserted Tangier alleyway.
"Ah!", I gasped in pain as he pressed his black Beretta up against the bottom of my chin.
At that point we were now facing each other, allowing me to get a crystal clear view of his face in the Moroccan moonlight for the first time.
He was one of the most beautiful men I'd ever seen. Well, for his age anyway. Early fifties, white, clean-shaven, blonde crew cut hair combed to the right, and in his blue eyes that seemed to be piercing into my very soul I was more than a simple tailor.
"I know about your money laundering operation for the chop shops here.", he accused, "You hear anything about a DB5?"
My eyes widened at that, but I quickly regained my composure despite still being in his iron grip.
"Well, gotta admit,", I began to answer, "takes some serious stones to make off with a car like that."
He pressed the gun harder against my chin. "Stop dancing around it. Tell me what you know or I'll blow your head off."
I sighed. "Alright. I was on the phone this morning with a buddy of mine. He works at a shop in Tanja Balia, just on the outskirts. Mentioned having just gotten a classic Aston Martin. Didn't say which model exactly but it sounds like yours. That's all I know. I swear."
Satisfied with my response, he let me live, knocking me out with a spritz of sleep spray concealed in his sleeve and gently laying me down on the brick pavement before storming off to retrieve his prized vehicle.
