Summary
After the devastating loss of his closest friend, Odasaku, Dazai finds himself wandering aimlessly through the pouring rain, weighed down by guilt and sorrow. His wondering leads him to a curry shop marked with caution tape, where he discovers abandoned orphan, Sakura, hiding in fear. Overcome with conflicting emotions, Dazai takes her into his arms, vowing to protect her despite his uncertainty about his own future. Haunted by memories of Odasaku and struggling to reconcile his failures. Dazai faces the impossible choices safeguarding Sakura while grappling with the heavy burden of his past and the looming threat of his own demise. Together Dazai and Sakura Build a new life that stars out in hiding after Dazai leaves the Port Mafia. Sakura aids Dazai in coming to terms with the lost of those he cared about and vise versa. Struggling with his emotions-especially guilt-Dazai learns to let go and accept the past while never giving up on him self.
