As Danny is sleeping in his dorm honestly he’s ignoring every noise around him because of how loud people in college are at night he feels himself get shoved into something but he’s too tired to gaf.
When he woke up he was inside a bag a big one at that in some sort of van or something he could hear crying from some other person as he can hear voices perhaps the kidnappers or the driver. Ugh what does he care right now he has to get people out of here but also he does still have his planet plush with him maybe he can just play with that then save people…
He completely forgot he was inside the bag for the rest of the drive. So when he finally realised oh god I have to save people too late he was taken out the bag by some people as he looks around he saw 6 other people inside the trunk clearly most were younger because of their height and how young they sounded. Danny sighed wondering what these people deal was…hmm this city looks like the city the infamous batman is but it seems like the outskirts.
As Danny and these other people were shoved inside this house thing he saw a man. The people dragging them inside talked to him
“Sir we got the people you told us to grab.” The people bowed to the man
“Good work we’ll sacrifice them at dawn.”
This reminded Danny it was night the next day so that means he forgot for a whole day.
As Danny and others were shoved inside some cell looking room he noticed he couldn’t do anything. Cameras were everywhere if he disappeared with the other sacrifices they’d notice. They seemed to have planned this out and planned it out well
Danny looked over and saw most of the sacrifices seemed under the age of 16 there was only one other adult and they looked like they already gave up trying. One of the kids turned to Danny smiling clearly unaware of the situation it shattered his core to think about the fact this kid will not know until it’s too late that their going to be sacrificed
“Mr why do you look so sad cheer up the people said we were going to a better place tomorrow I wonder if that means the park!” he seemed so confident Danny decided not to shatter the kids spirit because if he did it would hurt him all the more.
“Yeah…I wonder…” Danny smiled sheepishly he didn’t know who they were going to be sacrificed to maybe its satan or something like all the basic shit they usually sacrifice people to.
**the next day**
They were forced into a line from oldest to youngest that’s the order they were going in Danny was the second in line the other adult was first in the line so as the people drew a sigil that He recognised as his own as the ghost king they were trying to summon him the high king of the infinity realms and the ghost king.
Danny could only watch as they stabbed the first guy in an artery and let the blood flow down. When they came to Danny he immediately used anything he could to defend himself even if he can’t go ghost right now he still can kick even with his hands restrained. So Danny kicked the cultist approaching he fended them off as they tried to approach the kids.
He saw the same man from before
“For such a light weight you do put up a fight…but that first man had enough blood to power the entire sigil for a little while so…I guess I have to strike a deal with the ghost king in 30 minutes not the time I really wanted pity…” the man said that as he started to say the words to summon Danny so Danny had no choice but to say something…but as he was about to the door broke down and he saw batman, Robin, John Constantine and red Robin but they were too late as the man finished the summon.
Danny felt himself transforming into his ghost king form so as it happened the man looked pale in the face as John Constantine grabbed another bottle of beer.
“Well…why the hell do you look so pale aren’t you the one who wanted this?” Danny said in a distorted voice the ghost king form is…not good with English it’s literally made for ghost speech so English is distorted and broken.
“Y-Your majesty I did not know you possessed that man…” the man spoke but Danny interrupted him speaking in ghost speech before stopping realising he was
“I basically said there is no deal I do not take human sacrifices I’m not pariah dark!” Danny yelled but then he realised yelling in that form is not good for human ears so he saw as the heroes covered their ears and the children’s as the man’s started bleeding.
“I hope you learned a lesson you’ve added another ghost to my realm who knows what unfinished business he has.” Danny glared at the man as the man got on his knees and begged for forgiveness and mercy as the heroes reprehended the man Danny looked at them.
“And heroes I’m just making this clear I’m not exactly on your side…but I am not going to hurt you just…do one thing for me.” Danny then gave them piece of paper that read: start a war to destroy GIW. “If you want to prevent this then destroy the Ghost acts it goes against meta laws because apparently ghosts aren’t counted as conscious beings when we are fix that and there’s no war.” Danny decided to just fly back to his college and left the heroes with more questions then answers Atleast he knows something will be done about those laws now
