Proluge 

Natasha smiled as they arrived at the check in at JFK International Airport in New York. Mark had insisted on seeing them safely onto the plane, little Tilly however was pouting.
- No pouting ladybug
- Why can't we stay here mama
- I'm sorry ladybug, but Auntie Mer needs us, grandma isn't well
- You'll see me at Christmas ladybug and I promise to call once a week
- Do you pinky promise daddy?
- of course, I wouldn't dream of not making a pinkie promise
Tash smiled as Mark made a pinkie promise with their four year old daughter
- Now what will be the most important thing you have to make sure mummy does
- Make friends with someone who can cook so we and Auntie Mer don't starve
- and be a good girl. Mummy's job is going to be demanding, so she might not always see you everyday

Standing, Mark turned to the mother of his daughter, something he never thought he'd say. What Tash saw in him, he didn't know, not when she was beautiful, clever and witty to the point sarcasm was her first language
- Take care of yourself as well princess and call me when you guys get settled in
- We will Mark, try not to antagonise Derek to much
- being a pest is my job though
Snorting in amusement, the dirty blonde hugged the plastics surgeon and kissed his cheek
- Thank you for the first class tickets as well, you didn't have to
- Only the best for my girls
Pressing a kiss to her cheek, he kissed Tilly's head as the mother/daughter duo checked in and headed further into the airport after one final wave to Mark
Despite missing her father, Tilly, much to the amusement of the flight attendants was excited about her first ever flight and Tash expressed her gratitude over their treatment and kindness towards her little girl. Once they arrived in Seattle, Tash grabbed their bags before they headed for the front of the airport where they located Tash's older twin sister Meredith. The older Grey grinned as her niece let out a delighted sequel before running over and hugging her aunt who hugged her back just as tight before also hugging her sister.
- Thank you for moving back Tasha, I know it wasn't an easy choice
- Your family Mer and while we didn't have to best relationship with mum, we had each other and Mark encouraged me to come and be with you. He pointed out that it'd be easier for him to come here and visit rather than you trying to get time of during intern year to visit me
- I'm still jealous he bought you a whole ass apartment
- I tried to talk Mark out of it, but the sneaky bugger did it while I was sleeping. Nothing but the best for his girls
Meredith chuckled. She'd met Mark several times and while he was a flirt, he clearly worshipped the ground her sister walked on and loved their daughter.
- I will be visiting
- Well duh
Was the snarky response as Meredith helped her get the bags and a sleepy Tilly into the car, it'd been a big adventure already for the little girl.

The apartment Mark had purchased for Tash and Tilly was close to the Hospital and already had furniture and was fully stocked, all it needed now was all of the knickknacks Tash had collected over the years and Tilly's rather impressive stuffed animal collection that she totally blames Liz Shepherd for as well as their clothes.... Tash may have also pilfered several of  Marks shirts to sleep in. It wasn't her fault they were oversized on her and comfortable.
- Ok, I definitely need a sugar daddy to
Tash's mouth dropped open in offence before they both burst into giggles while Tilly went to inspect her new room.
- Wanna stay the night? We could order pizza and watch movies with Tilly?
- That'd be nice
Meredith answered with a warm smile. She was glad to have her best friend back, the sisters, while glad they'd had the time apart to grow as people had missed each other dearly, they were twins after all and Tilly loved her Auntie Mer.
- Right, you order the pizza, I have to go let Mark know we're safe
- Tell him I said hi
Nodding, Tash headed into the master bedroom and rang Mark's number. The speed with which he answered must've meant he'd had the phone in front of him waiting for it to ring, god he was such a girl sometimes
- Hey Princess, how was the flight
- It was good. Tilly is currently arranging her stuffed animals and Mer is ordering food and is gonna stay the night
- How do you like the place
- You spoil us Mark
- Princess, you deserve the world. You not only gave me a beautiful daughter, but the opportunity to be a part of her and your life, spoiling you is the least I can do in thanks
- Oh Mark, you're to hard on yourself honey. You're a good person and a good father
- Thank you princess. I'm glad you girls got there safe
- We did and Mer is jealous and wants her own sugar daddy
The cackling on the other end had Tash smiling, she knew he'd find that amusing and it'd lighten the mood
- Oh I do love your sister, say hi to her for me
- I will
- I've gotta go unfortunately, but I'll call back tomorrow and ladybug can tell me all about her adventure
- she'd like that. Goodnight sweetheart
- Night Princess
Hanging up, Tash put her phone on to charge before heading back into the kitchen where Meredith and Tilly were with the pizza
- Mark says hi
- why didn't daddy ask to talk to me
- he only had a few minutes sweetie, but he'll call back tomorrow and is looking forward to hearing about your adventure on the plane
- he's forgiven then
Meredith snorted
- oh she's definitely yours. Poor Mark
Tash just grinned as they settled on the couch to watch a movie with Tilly before she went to bed.

Sorry thay this isn’t a new chapter, but I wanted to get peoples opinion on the cheating thing

Technically Mark and Tash aren’t a couple officially, so my question is

A) mark sleeps with Addison because he’s an idiot

Or

B) Addison gets him drunk and talks him into her bed?

Let me know what you guys think

I also want to ask what speciality do you guys think she should have….. anything but peds or neonatal please, I’ve read way to many fics where that’s what they do and I do have another story where the character will speacialise in ortho

Thank you all for the help so far, since option b for mark is the most popular, I’ll be going with that 

I’m also leaning towards her maybe doing plastics. It’s not something I see in a lot of stories and could be fun. What do you guys think?

Or maybe double boarding in plastics and trauma?

Chapter Text

Natasha had spent the last week settling herself and Tilly into a new routine before she started as an intern that day, she’d also organised what she needed for Tilly to be in the hospital daycare before she started school the following year which Tash thought worked out well. Currently she was making some breakfast before going to get Tilly up and dressed so they could leave and her daughter could finish sleeping at the hospital. She’d just poured coffee when there was an almost frantic knock at her front door, curious, the dirty blonde opened to and was shocked to see Mark standing there, she was even more surprised by the absolutely heartbroken look on his face. Tash simply pulled him into the apartment and closed the door before she gently sat him on the couch, headed into the kitchen and returned a moment later with two coffees, one of course a bone dry cappuccino, Mark gripped the cup like his life depended on it. 

- Mark, what happened baby? You look like someone killed a puppy in front of you

- Derek left Addison

- I’m sorry what? What happened? 
Taking a deep breath to brace himself, Mark launched into the explanation of what had happened with Tash steadily growing more furious with each passing moment.

- So let me see if I have it right. She gets you almost black out drunk, so she can talk you into her bed for sex and then has the nerve to play the victim with Derek? 
The plastics surgeon just nodded, Tash knew Mark well enough to know he had convinced himself that both Derek and Tash would hate him when he’d clearly not had a choice in what happened. Addison hadn’t only cheated on Derek, she’d violated Mark’s trust and body and broken whatever trust Tash had in her as well. 
- Where’s Derek?

- I wish I knew, he just left. After several calls not being answered, I decided to come here and tell you what happened and that I’d understand if you wanted nothing to do with me

- Oh baby, none of this is your fault

- But

- No, what Addison did was cruel and horrible and basically rape because you were in no condition to say yes or no and she knew that and if Derek is pissed at you then he’s going to find my foot so far up his ass he’ll be kissing my toes for the rest of his life 

Mark couldn’t help but smile a little, his feisty little intern 

- Honey, I could never hate you, even if you slept with her willingly. Would I be furious and a myriad of other emotions, yes, but I could never hate you because we created the most beautiful little girl and she deserves both of her parents 

Tash stood up and walked over to Mark who buried his face in her stomach as he finally broke down, safe in the arms of the one person who never judged him as Tash just ran her fingers through his hair and whispered sweet assurances as he slowly calmed down. Stepping back, Tash sat on the coffee table in front of Mark, holding his hands when he reached for them.

- I’d like to stay for a few days if that’s ok?
- You never have to ask Mark

- What if you want to bring someone home?

- Honey, the only man I want is in front of me, and I’m willing to wait as long as I have to for him to realise his worth and be confident enough to ask me to actually be his girlfriend 

smirking at Mark’s face as he looked for something to say, Tash kissed his forehead before going to change for work. When she returned, Mark was exactly where she left him, amused, she kissed his cheek this time, told him Tilly’s new schedule was on the fridge and she could stay home from daycare with Mark, and she ring to check on them when she had a break. Shaking his had as the front door closed, Mark looked at the kitchen, deciding to make Tilly pancakes since his little ladybug didn’t have to be up early to go with her mother now, maybe they could surprise Tash at the hospital on her lunch break like Tash used to do for him. The man ran a hand his face as he sighed, only now realising how much he’s truly missed his girls and how quite his place was without the pair making as much noise as possible, Tash sometime did it because she wanted to be as obnoxious as possible.

I know I’ve been absent and for that I’m sorry. I’ve got a lot going on right now and it’s taking a lot of my energy so I haven’t been writing 

I’ve been thinking of Tash and mark having another child before Tilly gets to much older

what do you guys think? When do you think she should be pregnant again?

my goodness, didn’t think Tash or even pregnant her would be so popular 😅

I will probably leave it for when she has her interns as yes it will be funny as heck and have no fear, plenty of Izzy bashing to be had. Alex is one of Tash’s persons so she’s very protective of him and pregnant her will have even less of a filter which is always funny to mark. 
im not sure yet if she’ll be involved with the lvad thing or injured, what do you guys think? 
I also won’t be glossing over what George did to Meredith, Tash will make many threats involving sharp objects toward him for it and if he continues to play victim and gaslight her sister, she will get HR involved

Hey guys, I know I’ve been absent and I’m sorry for that. We were selling the house and moving and as you know, it’s an exhausting process, but we’ve got the new house mostly done and I’m feeling ready to start writing again

i had an idea. I know Addison comes to Seattle for the tts case, but I was also thinking that she came because Derek served her divorce papers after hearing from mark about how drunk she got him to get him into bed

what do you guys think?

Natasha was half listening to the Chief as her eyes scanned the crowd for her sister, only to see Meredith slip inside a moment later and gave her sister’s raised eyebrow a look that promised she’d explain later when they were getting changed. 

- So why were you late 

the younger Grey asked as they walked to the intern locker room 

- I had a boy on my floor 

her sister snorted in amusement, not the least bit surprised. 

- Speaking of boys, Mark showed up before I left this morning 

-Why? Is he ok?

- Physically yes, I think he’s going to need he’s therapist though. Derek’s wife Addison called Mark over under the pretence of wanting the three to spend time together only for the Bitch to get him so drunk he couldn’t form a coherent sentence

Meredith felt her mouth drop open in shock and her heart broke for the man 

- Mark didn’t even know what was going on until he heard the shouting downstairs and Derek had left. He hasn’t heard from him and wanted to come and tell me everything in person

- poor mark 

- he was convinced I’d hate him 

- over basically being raped?

- that’s what I said. He’s going to stay for a few days, after that I’m not sure 

- we’ll do a movie night, like we did when you guys were in New York

- I think he’d like that 

the sisters shared a smile as they picked a locker each and started changing into scrubs, introducing themselves to a rather intense looking Asian woman named Christina who as it turned out had the same resident they did. A rather nervous looking guy with his eyes locked on Meredith rambled about him also having that resident before dissolving into an awkward ramble about the outfit Meredith wore the night before, thankfully being cut of by their names being called and told their resident was down the hall. 

-That’s the Nazi?

- I thought the Nazi would be the Nazi 

- I thought the Nazi would be a guy 

- way to be sexist 

the only male in the group flushed in embarrassment as a tall perky blonde joined them: Tash wasn’t sure why but she already had the overwhelming urge to punch the other woman in the face 

- maybe she’s nice, maybe they call her the nazi because they’re jealous 

- let me guess, you’re the model 

Tash and Christina blinked at each other in shock for saying that in sync while the blonde glared at them and Meredith looked amused 

- hi, I’m Isobel Stevens but everyone calls me Izzy 

izzy chirped as she introduced herself to their resident, hand out to be shaken. The woman just gave her a disdainful look, not missing the eye roll of one of the other girls at Izzy’s antics. Izzy lowered her hand when the resident just continued to stare her down and then stepped back with others. Satisfied, Miranda Bailey started listing her rules and what she expected from her interns as they followed her through the hospital and then up to the helipad to collect an incoming patient that they were able to stabilise for the moment as another doctor, this one clearly an attending by his scrub colours explained that he wanted every test in the book done. Bailey then handed out assignments, the twins were on watch the teenager duty while Izzy was stuck doing rectal exams as punishment for her sucking up which had Tash doing an inner happy dance: Meredith gave her a look, well aware of what her twin was thinking as they wheeled Katie down to get a CT Scan

- You guys are lost 

- No we’re not 

- the last person they stuck me with wasn’t this clueless and that was like a nurse 

- don’t diss nurses. They’re the reason hospitals don’t collapse and doctors can focus on patients 

katie blinked in surprise at the other woman before nodding slowly 

- and to be fair, this is our first day, we’re interns so yes we are lost, but we’ll get there and a grown up doctor can then look at the scans and hopefully find out what’s going on with you 

both Katie and Meredith snorted at Tash saying grown up Doctor 

- you’re not so bad 

- you’re tolerable to kid 

Katie smirked as they finally got her to the CT room and then back up to her room where her parents would eventually show up and an attending would hopefully have answers.

while Meredith had gone to join the rest of the interns under Bailey, Tash had been paged to the lobby by Tyler

- Hi Tyler, you paged me? Is everything ok? 

Tyler smiled at the young intern’s politeness, she was definitely going to be one of the favourites 

- You have a couple of visitors 

Tash turned and smiled as she saw mark and Tilly

- Thanks Ty

- Happy to help 

the nurse called as the intern walked over and hugged Mark before bending down to hug her daughter 

- what are you guys doing here 

- thought we’d surprise you for lunch like you used to for me sweetheart 

- Thank you 

- What the hell are you two doing here? 

Tash offered a sheepish grin as she whipped around

- surprise I’m an intern here?

( I know I’m mean for cutting it of here. Also, I thought about mark moving to Seattle much earlier than he did in the show, what do you guys think?)
