Work Text:
Poison has always been Lucrezia’s weapon of choice. Sometimes there is value in sending hard-eyed men with knives, but on the whole that is more her husband’s style. When someone has wronged her, she likes to see the fear and horror in his eyes as his strong arm fails, as his body betrays him. For those who deserve it, she makes their deaths slow and lingering; others are given the gift of a quick and silent end in their sleep.
She always keeps the antidote with her, of course, in case of mistakes; but Lucrezia Borgia very seldom makes mistakes.
