   Summary

   Months after the destruction of Eregion, Galadriel finds a tiny elfling, alone and traumatized. Though he won't speak, the little one claims Elrond and Galadriel as his own.

   Guardians in the midst of war, Elrond and Galadriel face battles on multiple fronts as they fight each other and their own feelings. Facing prejudices among the Eldar to secure the future for one elven child while forging alliances to protect all of Middle Earth.
