Summary
A young girl’s act of kindness changes the outlook on life of a young boy. Both are Warrior Candidates, Eldians living in the Liberio internment zone of Marley. Although circumstances tear them apart time and time again, they always manage to find a way back to each other, even when they’ve reached the depths of sorrow and hopelessness. No matter how dire the circumstances of war, inner strife, or personal relationships may be, in the end, they knew of something that was greater than themselves.
