Storms had been a normal occurrence for Eclipse. Usually he didn't get very spooked by the lightning. However this past week it had been storming hard. A week prior Lunar had electrocuted him to death. It caused Eclipse to hate lightning period. He had been having frequent panick attacks when it had stormed because it was spring. Meaning more storms more frequently. But most of these storms had been late at night which spooked him out of his sleep.

Tonight was no different. A loud rumble shook Eclipse out of his sleep with a gasp. His body suddenly felt like it was on fire and overheating. A lightning strike then hit the ground on the other side of the wall making Eclipse yelp in fear as he started trembling.

"No- No- No- nonono- I don't wanna die-" Eclipse spoke out loud. He had died 3 times already. The thunder put him into a panic as his thoughts spiraled. He was going to die wasn't he? Eclipses hands reached up to yank his rays as another loud crash rang out. Eclipse felt almost nauseous, his nerves were on fire screaming at him. He felt his body start to overheat and his breathing kicked in. "No- don't be stupid you're not dying its just lightning for christ sake-" Eclipse told himself as he burried his face into the pillow he was using to sleep on, jolting everytime lightning struck outside. Eclipse reached behind him and tried to turn off his audio receptors before he was met with a harsh zap to the hand.

Eclipse cried out softly as he was shocked, jolting upwards while his vision blurred and hot, oily tears welled up in his eyes. The more the storm went on the worse his panicking got. He even started hallucinating and dry heaving in his moment of panic. He wasn't even realizing he was hurting himself either. Eclipse had let go of his rays once he punctured them and started clawing at his upper chest were his voice box was until he ripped it out with a large ear piercing shriek from the box. This caused Eclipse to reach back up and start clawing at his body and ripping at his rays. The wires that were sending electricity to power his voice box make loud sparking noises as they sent surges of power to the empty space. The frayed wires shrieked and popped with electricity making Eclipse sob harder as his mental state progressively got worse. That was until Eclipse hear shuffling.

"Eclipse, Moon wanted me to- Oh.." Solar had walked into the room where Eclipse was supposed to be sleeping to see him having a panic attack on the floor and hurting himself as a response. "Damn it." Solar sighed and crouched down beside his counterpart. He knew Eclipse was antsy so he was prepared for any attacks. Solar gently reached out and grabbed Eclipses wrists. He pulled them back so Eclipse would stop pulling his rays. He ripped one of them clean off. The others were dented and ripped. Eclipse jolted and squirmed when he turned around to face Solar. God he was a mess. Absolute crocodile tears flowing like a river from Eclipses optics.

"Hey- hey keep your eyes on me alright. I know im the last person you'd wanna see right now but please." Solar looked Eclipse in the eyes.

Eclipse nodded while he sniffled and shook. Solars appearance had thankfully knocked him out of his hallucination making him more aware about what was actually going on. His casings rattled against his metal frame as he exhaled the breath he didn't even know he still had. Eclipse swallowed his pride and nodded. He was too upset to let his ego control him at the moment so he just followed Solar's orders as he spoke softly to him. Eclipse seemed to calm down in the first few seconds until a burst of lightning struck outside again making him jolt back and start sobbing uncontrollably.

"Damn it..." Solar cursed. Solar let one of Eclipses wrists go. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He fumbled with the device dor a few moments before unlocking it. He quickly dialed Moon.

The phone rang for around 10 seconds before Moon groggily answered the phone.

"Huh... You need something?" Moon asked.

"The code." Solar answered bluntly.

"What code-" Moon was interrupted by Solar.

"The damn code to get the shocker off of Eclipse." Solar's voice rang out.

"Solar he's dangerous I can't just let you take it off of him. Is there something wrong with it or him?" Moon seemed more awake now.

"Trust me Moon. He is way to vulnerable to cause any damage to me. Im more worried about him hurting himself." Solar explained then continued. "Now. Give me the code."

"No. Im coming down to where you are." Moon spoke before ending the call.

"Fuck. Eclipse hold still I may be able to pull this off of you without the code." Solar scrambled through his utility belt before pulling out a small flat head screw driver. Solar grabbed the shocker and used the screw driver to pry the shocker off. It popped off as Solar let out a relived sigh. He reached around and flicked Eclipses audio receptors off.

Solar pulled Eclipses hand forwards and traced on his palm to communicate. He wasn't sure if Eclipse could understand all of it since he wasn't in a very good state. Solar then gently dropped Eclipses hand and placed his hands on Eclipses Shoulders. He stared into Eclipses eyes softly and tried to get him to focus on his "breathing". Any time Eclipse looked away for too long Solar would snap his fingers in his face to get his attention. He did this for a few minutes until Eclipse got annoyed and calmed down. Eclipse pushed Solar's hand away and huffed.

"You okay?" Solar asked.

Eclipse just nodded and turned away to bury his face into his pillow. He hid his face into the pillow for a while expecting Solar to just leave. But then Solar didn't leave Eclipse glared at him. However it wasn't the type of glare he usually gave. It wasn't as angry. Eclipse wanted to be angry but he just couldn't find it in him.

"Hmm..." Solar observed Eclipses state. His eyes scanned his body for all the repairs hed need to do. He didn't see any major damage so he could probably just fix it later. "Would you like a hug..?" Solar asked quietly. Eclipses glare shifted into confusion and slight surprise. "Sorry. I know this is more of a Earth thing. Im not really good with words or any other form of affection. So this is all i really got to be honest. You don't have to accept it if you don't want to. Or I can just leave if you want but... You can hug me if you want." Solar spoke out anxiously.

He knew Eclipse was a bad person and he had repeatedly hurt his family. But seeing him so panicked made him feel alot of sympathy for the other version of himself because he used to have panic attacks if Moon merely raised his voice. Which was why they never really worked on tech together for a while because Moon would get easily pissed if his tech malfunctioned.. He also wondered if he had overstepped a boundary as well. The two didn't exactly talk and Solar had been the leading cause of one of his deaths. Eclipse glared at him more angrily this time and huffed sharply. Eclipse looked around making sure nobody else was around and sighed. Even though the two weren't close Solar was his only form of comfort for now. Eclipse looked at Solar then suddenly dive bombed into his arms. Eclipse buried his face into Solar's chest and wrapped his arms around his waist. Solar tensed and jumped before looking at Eclipse. His sharp, now dented rays wiggled a bit as he grumpily squeezed Solar. Solar hesitated and reached out ot pet Eclipses rays, running his fingers gently over the ripped edges of metal making sure not to press down too hard because the ripped part was most likely sore to the touch.

Eclipse and Solar layed there for a while. Eclipse angrily cuddling up to Solar until his grip loosened. Eclipse hadn't realized how tired he was. He drifted off to sleep in Solar's arms as he went limp. Solar used a hand to support Eclipse and gently pulled him closer so he wouldn't slip down out of his arms. Eclipse had been working day and night to try and find out who created him. He was so tired that he didn't even care about the fact he fell asleep in Solar's arms. Too tired to let his ego get the best of him. Solar sat there petting Eclipses rays as he sat there. He had been there for around 10 minutes after Eclipse had fallen asleep. Solar stayed as still as he possibly could aside from the repetitive motion of his hand. Solar didn't want to move in fear that he would wake Eclipse up. This was one of the only times he had gotten rest and was fairly calm. Solar didn't want to ruin the moment.

Solar turned to look around the room as he heard Moon's footsteps. Moon walked closer looking around until he spotted the two Eclipses.

"What the hell-" Moon looked shocked as he stared at Eclipse calmly sleeping and Solar looking pretty much unbothered by it.

"Don't wake him up." Solar responded simply. "Also he has Astraphobia. I doubt hes slept all week either since its been storming practically all week." Solar looked oddly calm about the situation. Almost as though he had experienced it before.

"Wow. And here I thought this guy was scared of nothing. I mean sheesh hes died like 4 times. But a bit of lightning sets him off. Though I don't get why he'd hug you of all people. He seemed to hate you more than me." Moon moved and sat down by Solar and Eclipse.

"Well i mean he was electrocuted to death so theres that. And I have seen him get scared by loud sounds. And most of his deaths involved something loud or someone screaming. Also I did help him calm down cause I walked in on him hysterical and in the middle of a panic attack. So I mean that may have made him trust me. Also here you can have this back." Solar dropped the shocker he pried off of Eclipse into Moon's lap.

"Why did you take it off of him Solar? I had it on there for a reason." Moon looked annoyed at Solar.

"Everytime he heard the thunder it would just make him worse. So I took it off of him to turn his audio receptor off." Solar replied simply.

"You could've just told me why you were wanting to take it off of him-" Moon was cut off by Solar.

"You should trust me enough to know whats safe and not safe Moon. I may be an Eclipse but im not your Eclipse. Just like your not my Moon. I never held what my Moon did to me against you so you shouldn't let what Eclipse did to you effect your trust with me. We aren't the same person." Solar said as he looked away from Moon and sighed softly.

"I- you're right. M' sorry Solar.." Moon glanced away aswell. Moon looked back at Solar and continued. "Ill try harder to trust you. Your right I shouldn't let what Eclipse did to me effect us. And if im being honest I probably shouldn't blame this Eclipse either. Hes merely a clone not the actual Eclipse." Moon spoke as he looked at the sleeping Eclipse next to him.

"It's fine Moon. Just don't do it again please." Solar looked at Eclipse and leaned over resting his head against Moon's shoulder. Moon jumped a bit before giving Solar a small smile.

"Night Sol..." Moons voice broke the small moment of silence.

"Goodnight Moon.." Solar scooted a bit closet to Moon careful not to wake Eclipse up.
