It was in-fact NOT a normal day at Gardenview. Dandy wanted all the toons to meet up and that includes the children. No runs at all. Dandy just wanted all the toons to get to know each other. That meant socializing for some that's Hell and for most it was Heaven. A lot of chatting went around and chaos too.

Tisha was busy cleaning to table that her and Brightney set for later today. Tisha needed help getting the plates because her hands were occupied. She could only do one thing.

"Hey, Milly. Can you please go bring some plates from the cabinets, bring a friend if you want." Tisha asked as she set down the cloth on the table

Milly turned around to look at her mom, "Yeah, sure! I'll go ask Cheryl!" Milly ran off to go ask her best friend, he wasn't the most confident toon, he was rather clumsy (like his dad, Looey) but she liked him a lot (as a best friend)

"Cheryl! Are you here?" She said strolling a bit. She found him sitting down and making balloon objects, he looked like he was struggling a bit.

"Oh hey, Milly, how's it?" Cheryl asked as he put down the balloon thingy, he honestly didn't know what he was making at this point.

"My mom asks if you would like to help me get the plates for the gathering." Milly says as her (tissue) tail starts to wag.

Cheryl looked at her dumbfounded, "You're asking me? I- I'm too clumsy for that, I don't want to break anything..." Just like his father he thinks low of himself, he really is just his father but younger.

"How many times do I have to say this. I. Don't. Care. You're my best friend and maybe this can get rid of your clumsiness."

He thought about it for a second, "Fine but I should take the least amount so just incase I drop it we will have the most amount."

Milly's eyes lit up, "Oh Cheryl, you're so smart!" And she pulled him into a hug.

They decided to take their shared amount back to Tisha and Brightney safely for once.

"Thank you, Milly and Cheryl, you guys are so helpful." Brightney praised them as she took the plates, "I'm surprised they didn't break on the way here, hehe."

"No problem, Aunt Brightney, we are happy to help anytime!" Milly said with enthusiasm and she took Cheryl's hand, "let's go play while we wait for it to be set up!" Cheryl nodded as he was dragged by Milly.

"Y'know, Maki. You're not a bad baker. I'm guessing you learned that from Uncle Cosmo, eh?" Mandarin said as she put the icing on the cupcake.

"Yeah yeah whatever, it's none of your business." Maki placed the piping bag down. Maki really liked baking, no not liked it, loved it but he didn't show it that much.

"Ehehe, ok then..." Mandarin said placing her piping bag down and she picked up the batch they just finished, "That was the last ones yay!"

She placed down the trays on the counter island behind them, "Let's go tell Uncle Cosmo and my dad that we are finished!" Maki nodded and followed her

"Dad! We're done!" Mandarin shouted across the hallway, making Sprout stop what he was doing to look at her.

"Ah, yes. Thank you Mandarin and Maki for helping with the cupcakes." Sprout complimented

"I bet they taste good!" Cosmo said, "Thanks for the help!"

"No problem." The 2 children said, "Does that mean we can do whatever we want till the time comes?" Mandarin asked.

"Yes of course-" Sprout answered but whilst saying that they were already off, "sigh, children..."

Chapter 3: Babysitting blues (Shrimpo)

Summary:

Shrimpo has to babysit all the Children toons and they like him?!

P.S: In the canon AU some of the children don't like Shrimpo but this was a request so yeah

Chapter Text

Shrimpo, the most easily angered toon in Gardenview, that has only friended less than 1% of the toons in Gardenview (mostly Cosmo though). He was given a special task by Dandy one of his "stupid" social experiments (as Shrimpo calls it) to take care of all the children toons in Gardenview. Of course Shrimpo has to have rules or Gardenview won't be such a pretty view. How did Dandy get all the parent toons to agree... that's a secret.

So to save the dialog here is a list:

Toodles: Not too much screentime, if she doesn't listen take her Ipad away

Maki: (despite being his child Cosmo had to make the rules because Shrimpo doesn't really care what he does) Don't give him sharp objects unless supervised but not when it's Shrimpo.

Mandarin: Don't let her get too bossy

Cheryl: Don't let sharp objects near him, he is clumsy

Tabby: Don't let her get too mean, i mean by make anyone sad or angry and do not let her near water

Spilly: She's 4, be gentle and make sure to feed her

Gigi JR: Don't let her gamble too much, she's just a child (request from Connie, Gigi would never) and she goes invisible sometimes a torch will help you find her

Milly: Don't let her near water, she is made out of tissue paper and soft cardboard

Phobos: He's normal he has no problems just don't feed him any vegetables or fruits, he's a Carnivore (apparently that's what Astro said)

Saya and Maya: Don't shout at Saya, she will cry, Maya will get mad that it [extra info Saya talks with ( )]

Seems easy enough right? Not for Shrimpo. Babysitting 11 children is hard because he hates children.

In Shrimpo's room, 11 children and an angry annoyed Shrimp. They were kids it can't be that hard, he's the adult.

"SO, LISTEN HERE RATS! ONE RULE, ONLY ONE! DON'T BE ANNOYING!" Shrimpo shouted, it was easy enough, right? Just because they were children doesn't mean they are absolute idiots, i think. All the children nodded. That was simple.

Someone nudged Shrimpo's leg a few minutes later, Shrimpo look down with an angry stare to see Phobos sweet, innocent face, "Uhm, sir what should we call you?" He asked. Shrimpo just looked at him and thought for a second, Shrimpo was fine but he didn't care what they called him.

"I don't care what you call me!" he said before SayMay said "(anything?) We can call him anything?!"
"We should call him big bro Shrimpo because he really is my big brother!" Toodles said and all the children agreed and from then all of them listened. Sure they would break the one and only rule they had but of course they would, how could they not? It was Shrimpo they were dealing with.

"You're stupid!" Maki shouted at Tabby. "ugh, is that all you got, you idiot fishcake! You're not worth fighting with!" Tabby shot back at him and the rambling goes on. Shrimpo noticed it and he usually doesn't remember the rules but this was a rare moment.

"HEY, STOP FIGHTING, YOU TWO!!" Shrimpo shouted at them to scold them. they all kept quiet. "Sorry, so so Big Bro Shrimpo." The two said at the same time and decided to ignore each other

Shrimpo couldn't believe that worked. He never thought that children would ever listen to him. Did they like him, he isn't a likeable toon. Maybe they just did. It's strange and he hates strange things...

Chapter 4: Comfort needed (Maki)

Summary:

Maki tries to be mean and instantly regrets it || what happens next is shocking (Dhar Mann reference :3)

Chapter Text

Maki, a fish cake, he gets his personality from his father, Shrimpo. Though he doesn't always like being mean, he just likes fighting that's all, verbally, he doesn't intend to hurt people feelings all that much. At least, he thinks he doesn't want hurt others feelings. But today he thinks he took it too far.

"But Maki, I really can't eat vegetable, I'm a carnivore" Phobos said, almost about to cry. Maki and Phobos were arguing about Phobos acting like a dinosaur which he wasn't but vegetable made him sick and not because he doesn't like it, he can't eat it.

"That's stupid, you're stupid! You are NOT a dinosaur, idiot!" Maki shouted. there was a crowd of the children forming but that didn't really matter.

"Uhm, I-I I'm not an idiot!" Phobos starts to cry. He might be one of the oldest but he cries a lot.

"Look who made the kid cry, you're gonna get in trouble~♫" Tabby said with a snarky tone from the crowd. Maki scoffed and left the area into his room (yes the kids have their own toon rooms).

Maki sat down on his bed. There was a big problem. He felt bad?! He has never felt that bad in his life. Why did he feel that way. he knew he wasn't gonna get in trouble because Shrimpo wouldn't care what he did and Cosmo was way too nice to scold him. He had no idea why he felt bad. He knew that's what Shrimpo would of done in that situation maybe- his thought were interrupted by someone knocking on his door.

"Maki, you in there? Can I come in?" That voice was familiar, it was his dad, Cosmo. "Yeah, you can!" he replied and Cosmo opened the door. "You good? I heard what was happening out there..." Cosmo said as he started to hug Maki.

"I-I feel bad after insulting someone, am I supposed to feel bad?" Maki asks, he acts like Shrimpo and Shrimpo has taught him a lot. He can't help but act like him.

"Well, I never insult anyone because I find that rude and mean and if you feel so bad, you could y'know, apologize because if you don't want to feel bad it's always good to say sorry and I will tell your dad to stop teaching you how to be mean, well I mean try" Cosmo giggled and gave him a reassuring smile and gave him a kiss on the forehead and left the room.

Maybe Cosmo is right, no- he was right. He will apologize. He doesn't like apologizing but if it makes things right then yes, he will do it.

So Maki went out of his room and looked for Phobos, he wanted to make this quick. There was Phobos sitting with Mandarin which was trying to stop him from crying. Hah, he's really been crying for that long over something stupid? Either way his only goal is to apologize, sounds easy right?

"Uh, hey, I came to say sorry for calling you an idiot, could you forgive me, please??" Maki asked, he thinks it's through the kindness of his heart but he doesn't really know.

Despite the apology Phobos is still crying to contain himself. This flipping kid is pissing him off, he can't stand Phobos. Took Phobos 5 minutes to calm down, "Ehehehe, sorry, it's fine I guess. This is really stupid of me, I guess I am an idiot, hehe!" Now after his apology he is insulting himself, goodness. Mandarin decided to speak up, "No, you're not, you know a lot of history, more than every single toon and you know space stuff so you are totally cool!" Phobos smiled and gave her a hug.

Ew.

When Sprout woke up Rodger flew out the window for the ship at us and he hit the griddy. Fein was so alpha that he danced all over to alphas on the skibidi toilets for you to dance. When I Looey on the floor will alphas dance for them and then Gigi revealed she liked femboys and Connie agreed and they kissed. When Scraps helped her brother feed the Toodles aquarium it felt so funny that Goob hugged the ducks at the park. Dandy for sure ate all the pumpkins that Astro grew for Christmas so Bobette was sad that I like bottle of pops. Pebble was so angry that even Shrimpo liked all the food that Rudie prepared at the rainbow rooms so ichor hit the griddy too. THE END
