N&P AU Presents: My Life's Been Sabotaged by Chipmunks

Chapter 25: C-H-I-P-M-U-N-K!

Chapter Text

After signing with Jerry's record label, the Chipmunks found themselves in an odd situation. They weren't starting entirely from scratch, but it felt like they were building everything back up from the ground. It took a few impromptu concerts in the park to show the world that the boys still had what it took, but slowly, their audience began to return. Their talent was undeniable, and their charisma was infectious. Soon enough, people couldn't get enough of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore once again.

The boys weren't just making music, they were making a comeback.

Adding to their rising success, Dave had taken Ian to court for kidnapping and abuse after finding out he slapped Theodore, plus more allegations from other JETT Records employees. Dave won the settlement fairly easily, and reclaimed all of the Chipmunks' songs, as well as the revenue earned from their past albums and concerts. With the case settled, the Chipmunks were officially back on top of the music world.

As for Ian, he was sent to prison for a while but was released early for "good behavior." However, neither he nor Harry had been seen since. Rumors floated around that Ian was now living in a dumpster, while Harry had gone back to his old ways, selling knockoff merchandise on street corners. Dave had no intention of ever letting them near his boys again.

With the newfound money from the settlement, Dave bought a beautiful home in an equally beautiful neighborhood—a far cry from their old cabin. The moment Dave laid eyes on it, he knew this house was special. It wasn't just a house; it was a new start.

Four Years Later...

Thanks to their talent, relentless drive, and determination, the Chipmunks had solidified their place in the music industry. They had gone from being a band struggling to regain their footing to household names once again. They had won numerous awards, Dave had become an award-winning songwriter, and life had settled into a wonderful rhythm.

Their new house was spacious, filled with all the comforts they had ever dreamed of. It was a perfect haven for the family, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood.

Outside, on a sunny afternoon, Dave sat on the porch, surrounded by neighborhood kids eager to hear his stories.

"And that's how I met the boys," Dave said, finishing his tale with a nostalgic smile.

The kids stared up at him, wide-eyed and enthralled. One of the boys, unable to contain his curiosity, raised his hand. "What happened to Uncle Ian and Cousin Harry?"

Dave chuckled. "Well, I'm not entirely sure where they are now. But I made sure they won't ever bother my boys again, that's for sure."

Another kid tilted his head. "What's it like living with the Chipmunks? "

Before Dave could answer, he had a realization. "Actually, I have a question for you," Dave said with a smile. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"

"We're from the neighborhood," one of the kids explained. "And we wanted to know where the bathroom is."

Dave blinked. "Uh... down the hall and to the right—no wait, why are you in my house?"

The kids grinned sheepishly. "We never miss a Chipmunk concert!"

Dave blinked in confusion. "What Concert?"

Suddenly, a muffled sound of drums and guitars thudded through the walls, followed by the unmistakable cheers of a crowd. Dave's face paled as he scrambled to his feet, rushing toward the window. He pulled the curtain aside and looked outside.

His jaw dropped.

A massive crowd had gathered around the driveway and lawn. People were cheering, holding signs, and chanting.

At the front of the crowd, a large sign read:

"The Chipmunks Present: The Garage Concert"

Below the headline were the names:

"Simon, Theodore, and... AAAAAALLLLLLLLL-VIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNN!"

In the Garage, The boys were standing on a makeshift stage. They had traded their old turtleneck sweaters for slick, color-coordinated sweatsuits. Alvin's new outfit even sported a huge yellow "A" on the front.

Alvin was tuning his guitar. Simon leaned casually against his electric keyboard, surveying the crowd, and Theodore stood behind his drum set, twirling his drumsticks with a grin.

"Did you hear something?" Alvin asked, glancing at his brothers.

"With this crowd?! I can barely hear you!" Simon gestured toward the rowdy fans outside.

Alvin shrugged it off. "Theo! It's time!"

Theodore grinned, gave three taps with his drumsticks, and the concert began. The garage exploded with energy as the Chipmunks launched into their new hit song.

The Chipmunks:

Do, do, do-do-do-do!

Do, do, do-do-do-do! (Watch! Out! Cause here come!)

Do, do, do-do-do-do! (Watch! Out!)

The crowd went wild as the Chipmunks continued their high-energy performance. The boys had come full circle—from being unsure of their future to reclaiming their place as the best in the business. Despite their wild, impulsive antics, the boys were back where they belonged, doing what they loved most.

The Chipmunks were back, better than ever.
