   Summary

   It has been exactly five years since Galadriel fought against Sauron and he stabbed her with Morgoth's crown. The elves are at war with him, but they suffer further defeats and desperately seek a way to destroy him. Meanwhile, Galadriel fights her own internal battle, unknown to anyone else. Sauron is constantly present in her dreams and continues to tempt her. The situation becomes even more complicated when Arondir is seriously wounded and informs Galadriel that they cannot rely on Númenor's help.
