Chapter Text

Shockwave was working in his lab. It was a slow day and none of the autobots have been seen in a while. Megatron hadn’t ordered shockwave to do anything so he continued to work on his personal projects

He had his head buried in his research trying to find what went wrong. A dead young predacon laid on a table not to far from him

He was grateful that megatron sent out predaking to go and try to find any of the autobots

Shockwave hadn’t left his lab in days he hadn’t done anything but try to find out what went wrong

Shockwave knew it wasn’t logical for him to do this but he just couldn’t stop himself from doing this. Old habits die hard

He gets up to grab something from one of his many cabinets that’s when the world went sideways and he hit the ground hard and blacked out

Many hours later soundwave was doing one of his rounds to make sure everyone was doing their job and not trying to kill megatron (starscream)

He arrived in front of Shockwave's lab. He knocked because he didn’t want Shockwave throwing a hissy fit. He got no response, not even a sound of movement to show that Shockwave heard him.

He got tired of waiting and he used his security access to open the door. He was met with the sight of shockwave on the ground unmoving

As soon as soundwave saw the love of his life on the floor his body stiffened and his processor went into overdrive. He knows that Shockwave is much too large for him to carry and he didn't want to drag Shockwave.

He sends a ping to knockout he doesn't give a rats ass if knockout is still upset about breakdowns death,

shockwave was unmoving still showing no reactions to the outside world his atena were down in a distressed position

After doing all of that and having a mini panic Soundwave rushes over to shockwave checking if his mate was okay he overtly wasn't but still. Soundwave sent waves of stress and concern through their bound as he felt for his mate’s spark beat which was much too slow for comfort

Just then knockout walked into the room and saw the situation and him and soundwave worked together to carry shockwave to knockouts office which took much too long for comfort

By halfway there they couldn't carry him any longer so they called megatron and of course he helped because his bestie is sounwave

They finally got there and layed shockwave on the medical berth. Megatron left because he had work to do (beating starscream because YES) meanwhile knockout started running tests on shockwave and hooked him up to some machines. After what felt like forever knockout let out a shaky sigh and turned to face the very worried soundwave

His systems are overworked most likely because of him overworking” knockout sees the stress leaking off soundwave’s field “he will be fine he just needs a few days of rest, he’s fine soundwave. You should probably get to work before megatron starts to worry a bit to much”

As slow as he could soundwave left the room dragging his feet he knows that yes knockout is most likely right but still he can't help but worry his mate had overworked evidently he got to work the back of his mind was a mix of worry and more worried

Knockout meanwhile stepped out of his medical office he didn't feel like sobbing his optics out on the job so he left to go calm himself down by racing it always did even after breakdown died

After not to long shockwave woke with a start his spark and his stomach were killing him. he didn't know why but it reminded him of when he was giving birth to rumble and frenzy but he wasn't pregnant he would know if he was.

He looks down and sees that he's bleeding from down there. Mother frager you better be kidding him. His pelvic armor popped back as his systems told him to push and so he did. A massive wave of pain. Mother fucking he was in labor by himself how the frag didnt he relize! What a pain

(i'm not too comfortable writing someone giving birth at this moment because i have never done that, SO WE ARE SKIPING OVER IT (i’ll most likely come back and write it letter))

Shockwave gave a sigh as it was over he looked down at the sparkling and gently picked them up and put them over his spark chamber. He looks at the fruits of his labor with such a loving optic

He then noticed there's one more there and he was still in pain. He grabbed the second sparkling and put it with the first “oh come on…”

The first one looked like a mini soundwave with a much different, much brighter color scheme the second one looked like Soundwave in his gladiator days but much much smaller. The 2 sparklings were cuddling each other they were both very quite tho the 2ed one was making small cries

“Shh your fine little one nothing is wrong” shockwave cooded in the softest voice he could do when he was still in a large amount of pain

“Hey shocks i’m bac- WHAT THE PIT!!” knockout yelled as he finally returned from his drive and saw Shockwave having 2 sparklings on his chest and he was crowing ”W-WHAT HOW WHEN?!”

It started after yo- fraging pit…” shockwave started but was cut of by another wave of pain

“OH FRAG” knockout rushed over to help

AFTER THE 3RD ONE CAME OUT

“So why didn't you com anyone? Like Soundwave or myself?” knockout asked looking very annoyed “and since when were you carrying?” he added with a slightly confused tone

“1 the com service here sucks ass and 2 ….I didn't even know myself” shockwave said the 2ed part quieter than the first slightly embarrassed that he hasn’t realized such an obvious thing

“How in the pit didn’t you realize?” Knockout asked with a disappointed look and with that shockwave just shrugs

“So do you want me to com soundwave?” Knockout asked but shockwave was already asleep

Meanwhile
Soundwave walked down the hall his steps were rushed and he was more speed walking than anything

When he finally reached the medbay he let out a sigh as he opened the door “knock out’ is he awake?”

Soundwave stopped his his tracks as he saw shockwave with three sparklings and knockout was leaned over him checking over on the little ones
