Chapter Text

Undisclosed location

In the cold cement room,there was a small child barely 4 years old chained up by the wrist hanging from the ceiling. The blue eyed boy was limp as he continued to bleed from his sides.

The toddler was falling asleep when he heard footsteps. He raised in his head as he listened to the footsteps approaching. His smile appeared when he heard soft footsteps coming. Another small child enter the room. The green eyed boy stood at the entrance. He glared at boy who shared his face.

"Danyal, your childish behavior must cease." said Damian. Danyal chuckled as he remembered why he ended up chained up in the first place.

Danyal and Damian were supposed to be studying French in the library. Danyal wanted a break from reading so he built a tower out of  books. Damian scolded him and demanded he focus on his studies. But Damian immediately changed his opinion when Danyal pouted at him. The twins built a very tall tower that was almost the height of  bookshelves. Then Danyal heard the door of library opening. He pushed damian behind a bookshelf when his mother approached him. Damian was ignored the pain in lower back from his brother pushing him down the aisle of the  books. He walked to Danyal being scolded by mother and being pulled by the hair out of the library.

"We should do that again. Maybe we can built one to the moon!"Danyal suggest. Damian didn't look interested. Damian responds back with logic.

"It is not possible to build one to the moon." He said. Danyal rolled his eyes. Damian looked at his brother wounds that was on display because he didn't have a shirt.

"You need to eat more. It will help with wound healing." Said Damian. Danyal knew this already. They were being trained on how to recover from injury and patch up an injury. But Danyal was able to read in between the lines. Damian is reminding him to eat.

Danyal grab a hold of his thumb and quickly popped it out of place. He slipped his hand out of the chain. He did the same to the other one before landing on his feet. He popped his thumbs back into place as he spoke.

"What's for dinner?"asked danyal.

"I am not sure. I waited until mother went to bed before retrieving you." Said Damian. Danyal nodded. They snuck out of the basement and went to the kitchen. They quietly snuck around the staff was cleaning the kitchen as they made their way to the pantry. Damian made them a sandwich. Danyal starts eating while Damian starts applying bandages to Danyal wound.

"I will have another punishment for having these." Danyal points out. No medical care is a part of the punishment.

"I don't want you bleeding on my blankets."Damian points out.

"Bold of assumption there. Maybe I want to sleep in my own bed."said Danyal. Damian scoffs.

"You have to be back to the dungeon in the morning anyways. I will remove the bandages before then."said Damian as he ignored his brother opinion. They finished up thier dinner before sneaking to Damian's room. They climbed into bed together. Damian nuzzle into danyal embrace. Damian placed his thumb in his mouth.

"Isn't thumb sucking a childish behavior?"Danyal tease.

"I will kick you off this bed."Damian threats but he had a slight lisp because of his thumb. So his threat lost its intensity.

The twins were sparring with their instructor. Damian was using two katanas while Danyal was using two swords against their instructor. The instructor was dodging and counterattacking each move with difficulty. The two boys came along since he started working with them two years ago. Their mother was proud as she watched her sons from the sideline with her father. Her father wasn't impressed.

Danyal glanced at Damian who was blocking the instructor attack. Danyal clicked his tongue. Damian immediately backflip away from the adult as Danyal did the same. Danyal ran straight towards the adult who was ready to counter. Damian threw one of his katana at the adult. The instructor bend backwards to dodge it the incoming headshot when he straight back up. Danyal was gone and Damian appears in front of him. Damian stabbed the older one in abdomen then Danyal came from behind and slice the instructor head clean off his shoulders. The head rolled on the ground before the body did.

"That is the second one this month." Talia complains. Ra was impressed. He thinks he knows which twin he wants as a heir.

Danyal high fives Damian. They practice a lot of combo moves with each other but wasn't able to execute one of them until today.

"Told you it would work."said Danyal. Damian points out that that move won't work every time and that we need to continue practicing. The two 6 years old went to practice more.

After practice, they snuck out of the house to a nearby pond. Damian sat near the pond and watch the duck swim.

"Do you think father will have animals?"asked Damian. Mother told them who their father was but they must finish their training to meet him. Mother thinks it a good motivation for her sons. She told them last year and they made rapid progress since.

"Animals are everywhere. What's not everywhere is a clear sky to see the stars." Said Danyal as he lay down and placed his head on Damian lap. He gesture to the night sky above them.

"The stars are present if even you unable to visibly see them."Damian said flatly. Danyal sighs.

"One day, you will understand the beauty of stars."said Danyal. Damian scoffs as Danyal fantasy. Damian didn't see the appeal to space that Danyal likes. Danyal can spend hours talking about the stars. Damian listens to make his brother happy.

"Sure, Aki."said Damian before running his hand through Danyal hair. Danyal relaxed under his gentle touch. Damian smiles before chuckling.

"You are like a cat." Asked Damian. Danyal glared at his Damian.

"I am not."said Danyal.

" yes you are."said Damian. Danyal sits up and folded his arms.

"Nuh."said Danyal
"Yuh." Said Damian in mocking tone.

"Take it back."Danyal threatens. Damian smirks.
"Make me." He said. Danyal pushes him into the pond. Damian resurfaces and his brother was laughing at him. Damian pull him up by the leg. Damian laughs as Danyal resurfaces. Danyal splashes the other. Damian does the same. They go back and forth as they giggle. The giggles cease when they heard footsteps approaching. They quickly got out of the pond and hid behind a tree. It was a guard doing patrol. After they pass by, the twins decided to go back inside the building.

The twins stood in front of their mother and grandfather as they gave their debrief of the mission.

"Operation Silent Dagger concluded successfully at 0300 hours; primary objective acquired and exfiltration completed with no friendly losses."Danyal concluded.

"No friendly loss? Then why are you are bloody?"asked Ra as he gestured to Danyal bloody uniform.

"My anger got the best of me, sir."said Danyal. The 8 year old omits the reason for anger was that one of the enemies nit Damian arm during the battle and immediately killed them on site. Damian scolded him for delaying their departure because of it.

"Damian, why is are you dirty?"asked Ra.

"the departure location was hidden in the forest, sir."said Damian.

"Damian, if you are to be heir of the league, you need to take it more seriously like Danyal is." Said Ra before dismissing the children. The children went to shower to get clean. Danyal was removed his clothes as Damian spoke.

"More seriously? He dismissed my involvement in this mission!" Said Damian as he removed his clothes.

"You did amazing. Your idea to cut the telephone lines off so they could call for backup was genius."said  Danyal. Damian turned the water on.

"Well grandfather doesn't think so!"said Damian. Danyal helps his brother scrub the dirty off him.

"Grandfather opinion doesn't matter! You are amazing."said Danyal.

"Easy for you to say. You are favorite."Damian points out. Danyal frown.

"I didn't try to. It just happened!"said Danyal. Grandfather treats Danyal slightly differently from Damian. He constantly criticizes Damian while comparing him to Danyal who just trying to keep up with his brother. Danyal feels like he doesn't do anything different than his brother. So he doesn't understand why Damian is treated differently.

"I can acknowledge that." said Damian. Danyal started cleaning Damian hair.

"Close your eyes,Aki."said Danyal. Damian close his eyes. "I wish he would stop comparing and start realizing your raw talents" he adds as massage Damian scalp.

"I can't wait to become heir and remove him out of our lives."said Damian. Danyal hummed in agreement. Danyal doesn't care about being heir. He just training to be able to Damian's one number ally.

"Once you are in charge, can we have chocolate milk whenever we want?"asked Danyal as he dreams of drinking chocolate milk again. They tasted one because they had to exfiltrate a party before and were able to sneak a few sips in.

"All the chocolate milk we want."said Damian. Danyal let Damian rinse his hair as he started scrubbing himself. " once I am in charge, I will rebuild the pond."he adds.

The pond was set on fire by their mother once we found out they were sneaking out of the home. She burnt the pond as punishment along with a beating.

"And a Planetarium!"Danyal suggests. Damian hummed in agreement.

Damian was sharping his katanas while Danyal clean his sword. The two preteens sat in silence as they worked. The silence was interrupted by their mother walking in.

" I received missions for you two." She said. The twins listened carefully as she explained the two missions. Mission one was to assassin a political figure in a foreign country. Mission two was to exfiltrate enemy base from information.

These were simple missions that the 10 years old did all time. They are prepared for it but they wasn't prepared for what their mother said next.

"Damian, you will be doing mission two and Danyal the other."said mother.

"Mother, we are able to complete two objectives in an efficient manner. "Damian states.

"I can acknowledge that. However, not all mission will be a team effort. You two need to learn how to work separately." She said. The twins thought about for a moment. They understand the logic but they didn't want to leave each other. Mother could see their hesitation.

"I am not asking. I am informing you. Damian be at the helicopter pad in 15 mins. Danyal be at the garage in 10 mins."she said before leaving the room. Damian frowns while danyal look at his brother with determination in his eyes.

"Twin switch."said Danyal. Damian glared at him.

"Are you insane?"damian hissed. The last time they swapped, they were 7 years old. They worn color contacts that they stole from the disguises storage. They pretend to be each other because Danyal wanted to prove that grandfather favor him. So he stepped into his brother shoes to prove his point. They were caught when their trainer sliced  "damian" arm and "danyal" didn't immediately attempt to kill the adult. Mother noticed the slight change in behavior and punished them by water boarding them for hours.

"Do you trust me?" Asked Danyal.

"What are you planning?"asked Damian as he ignored the question. Damian trusted his brother with his life but why is his brother demanding trust.

"I will explain afterwards. Just trust me."said Danyal. He held out his pinkie. Damian looked at him flatly.

"This childish act does nothing for trust."said Damian.

"The history of the pinkie swear is that if you don't keep your deal. You will have remove the pinkie."said Danyal. Damian linked his pinkie with his twin. They stole some contacts before getting in uniform and going their separate ways.

Daynal went to the helicopter pad. He board the small plane. He strapped in the seat. He watched as they flew above the Ra ghal estate and far away. Danyal watched as the miles of acres turn into flat plains of grass.

After few hours, the helicopter landed near a mountain. Danyal knew they weren't out of the country yet.  He expected another plane to be there to take him to the next location but only his grandfather was there.

"Damian, follow me." Said Ra. Danyal followed behind him. They went into a cave.  They stopped at a deep hole filled with a green fluids.

"There is only one crown. Unfortunately for you, you were unable to reach to accomplish same as your brother." Said Ra. He pulled out a gun. Danyal pulled out his katana when suddenly he was felt electricity rushing through his body. He fell to the ground as the electricity continued to flow.

"You are really a failure if you thought you could defeat me." He said as he  held the stun gun. Then he kicked the boy into the pool of green fluid. Danyal was drowning  in the mystery fluid as sunk deeper.

Meanwhile Damian was waiting at the garage for the password to open the garage doors. Mother was supposed to give him the code.

The change the code constantly so people can't sneak in or out. Damian wait for almost an hour in the garage before looking for his mother. He found her crying in grandfather arms.

"Danyal, we must delay for mission. Damian plane crashed while on route. We must investigate until then you must stay here."said Ra. Talia look at her only son.

"Damian is dead. They found his body in the ruins of the plane."said Talia. Damian eyes widen at the moment.

"What?"asked Damian. Talia noticed the lack of murder in her son eyes. Her son was in shock but not anger. Talia got out of her father arms.

"You not Danyal."she states. Ra express of indifference drop to show slight regret that was immediately cover up with anger.

"Danyal is dead because of you!"said Ra. Damian eyes filled with tears. " get out of my sight!"he yelled. Damian left the room before falling to his knees as he cried in agony. His mother came to his comfort.

Chapter Text

3 months later

Damian stood tall as his grandfather criticized him for the way he was reckless during the mission.

"You could had died! You should use the skills you have been taught. You are the future heir of the league act like it." He demands.

"Yes sir." Said the preteen flatly.

"Danyal won't be this reckless with his life." Ra adds. Damian felt anger start bubbling inside of him. Ra doesn't talk about his brother unless it to compare how unworthy Damian is from his place as heir. His twin is dead and he still getting compared to him.

"Of course, sir." Said Damian as he hid his annoyance. Grandfather dismissed him. Damian went to his room. He went to the window. He saw the stars in the sky.

"Astronauts are so lucky! They can live in space!" Said Danyal

Damian took a deep breath to stop himself from crying at the memory of his voice. The league remove the few items that Danyal own and remove all photos of twins from display. The stars was the only there he had left of his brother.

Damian wasn't even able to have a memorial for him because grandfather told him that killers should never go to their victims funerals. Grandfather believes that Damian killed his own brother. After a while, Damian started believing it after the memories of that day kept repeating in his head over and over. Damian still regrets not stopping his brother from that stupid idea.

He heard the door open. He turned away from the window to greeted his mother.

"Mother." He states as she walks in the room.

"Damian, I was informed that you committed overkill today." She said. Damian nodded in agreement. " you been going that a lot lately." She adds.

"The task was completed efficiently and within the designated timeframe."said Damian. His mother looked hesitant before speaking.

"Your father has a no killing policy." She said. Damian is aware of that fact. He studied everything he could about the man a few years ago so he would be prepared to meet him one day. But based on his progress according to his grandfather, the one day isn't soon. Damian knows that his grandfather knew goal was to get stronger to meet his biological that grandfather would hinder his progress.

"Maybe you should study under him for a while." She suggest. Damian narrowed his eyes. Training under his father was never an option before. Their deal was to meet the man not train.

"Training under an individual who adheres to a "no-kill" policy does not align with the trajectory of my professional development."said Damian.

"Just trust me."Talia states as she was unable to explain her thoughts to her son.

"No, I would like to understand the information that you are unable to disclose."Damian demands.

"After Danyal died, it made me realize I been letting my father control my thoughts. I won't let him dictate it anymore."said Talia. Damian was proud of his mother for that realization but she is missing one key thing with her plan. His opinion!

"I am unable to transition to training under someone else at this time. I must remain until my training is complete in order to assume responsibility for overseeing the league."said Damian.

"I am your mother. You will leave this estate immediately."Talia commands. Damian did what he did best and follow her commands even though it felt wrong to left without his brother.

Once they boarded the plane, Talia looked at Damian straight in the eyes.

"Damian, I know this will hard for you but must not tell Bruce about your brother. He will try to investigate his death. I don't want my father retaliating because he thinks someone is trying to uncover the league."said Talia.

"I am unable to withhold that information. Danyal is an integral part of my life, and I will not conceal the most important aspect of it."said Damian. Talia glared at him.

"Danyal is not returning. He is buried, and your memories of him should remain with him. It is time for you to move forward with your life" said Talia.

~~~meanwhile in near outskirts of amity park

A green portal toss out a 10 years old with Snow White hair and glowing green eyes. Danyal stood up and rubbed his head. He leaned against a near wall of a building in the ally. He noticed his reflection in the water puddle near his feet. Danyal was shocked that he was alive.

Unbeknownst to Danyal, The Lazarus pit is known for healing person at the blink of death but if a healthy person enters in. They are killed immediately from the potent power of it.

Suddenly a group of green globs flew out of the portal. He reached for his weapon but realized he didn't have anything. He heard a loud booming voice from down the street.

"I see the ghosts!!!"said a guy. Danyal hid behind a dumpster as he watched a couple run down the ally with unknown guns. Danyal thought of ways to hide and escape. He formulated multiple plans in his head within seconds when suddenly two rings appeared around his waist. He was wearing a space theme tshirt and blue jeans. He looked at the water puddle again. His eyes were blue and hair was black. Danyal was trying to think about what just happened when a girl approached him.

"It's okay. My parents are little loud but you are safe."said the girl. Danyal narrowed his eyes. " let's get you home. It's not safe for you be outside while ghost are out." She adds.

"I um." Said Danyal. Danyal had training for a lot things but socializing wasn't one.

"Oh! How about you follow me and I will help find your home. I am jazz."she said as she placed her hand out to help him up from behind the dumpster.

"Danyal."he said as he grabs her helping hand. He doesn't know where is he at. So it's best to gain information first.

"Daniel, nice to meet you!" She said with a smile.

1 year later

In amity park

Danny was awaken by weird sound. He sat up with annoyance on his face. He toss the blanket off his bed. He snuck past his foster family bedrooms and creeped downstairs. The annoying but familiar sound was getting louder. Danny walked downstairs to the basement where his foster parent's lab was located.

He walked past row of table that was covered in ectoplasm. Danny learnt a lot from living with the Fentons. They are scientists who study ghosts by hunting them down. They not the best at hunting but sometimes they do catch a ghost. Danny looked at the ghost blob in a chamber. The fentons usually can't catch any sentinels ghost. The ghost bob continues to weird ghost calling towards Danny.

"Shut up." He growled as he walks to the iPad that controls the containment chamber. Danny just wants to sleep one night without ghost bothering him. Last night, a ghost hunter tracked him down after school and threatened to kill him. Danny still doesn't completely understand all his ghost abilities but his friends, Sam and Tucker helped him a lot.

Danny let the ghost free. It immediately flew into the closed ghost portal. Danny explored the ghost portal little after he discovered his ghost abilities. He learnt that the Fenton research on ghost is very incorrect but their weapon aren't. Danny still remember the day the fentons invented the Fenton boomerang. It continues located Danny and smack him in the head. The Fenton labeled it a failure since it didn't locate any ghost. Danny learnt very early on that his foster parents are idiots but it makes hiding his secret identity of ghost and ex assassin easy.

Danny snuck back be into bed. He woke up to his foster parents panicking around the house because they can't find the ghost. Danny ignored them and went to the kitchen where his foster sister, jazz was. Jazz made him scrambled eggs.

"Danny,we could check out that new movie today after school?"jazz suggests as she serves him breakfast. She been trying to bond with new brother for a year now. She feels like she barely made any progress. Danny avoids interacting with her unless necessary. He tolerates family time. The only good thing is that he allow her to call him by a nickname. It was compromised after teaching Danny to call her jazz instead of jasmine.

"No thank you. I have plans with Tucker."said danny as lies so effortlessly. Danny needs to find a way out of amity park. He only stay here to get his powers until control. But now it seems that since the ghosts had started appearing. The city has been under lockdown until the government figures out how to deal with the ghost problem.

Danny thought fighting the ghost and returning them to the ghost world will stop the ghost from coming through the portal. But the ghosts saw that as an invitation to visit Danny more for their own entertainment. They purposely create chaos to get Danny attention. Danny accidentally became the city's vigilante named phantom.

Meanwhile in Gotham city

Damian was sharping his katanas as his father, Bruce listen to the crime report from Tim. Damian glared at the current person holding the title Robin. He should be him as his father's hero partner.

Damian was angry when he discovered that his father adopted a brunch of children who was all Robin at one point. He was more angry when his father informed that Damian needs to be train in non lethal fighting.

Damian thought when his mother suggest training under his father that he would working by his side not learning the basic fighting techniques he knows already. It infuriates him each time his father continued to denied his request to join patrol. His father wants him to focus on building a civilian identity and training. Damian doesn't understand his father thinking.

"-it's high possibility that penguin is gathering more crew."said Tim. Bruce hummed agreement. He looked at his youngest son.

"How you purpose we deal with this?"asked Bruce. Damian thought about his answer. Bruce is trying to get him out the league mindset. So Damian knew the answer wasn't eliminating the penguin.

"Interrogate the crew thoroughly using any tool necessary until sufficient information is obtained to dismantle the enemy's operations."Damian suggests. Tim looks disappointed but remains silent. He learnt quickly that Damian annoyance turns him into a stabby mode. If Tim didn't have good reflexes, he will be on bed rest by now.

"No."said Bruce before explaining that they be gathering information through detective work. Damian glared at his father as he explained more about to arrest his enemy. He doesn't understand why Bruce doesn't just killed his enemies instead of placing them in jail where they can escape again. He wishes to complain to his mother about her idiotic outcome of her idea but she disappeared after introducing him to his father. Damian was unable to contact her.

Damian focus on training because he strives to the best in everything he does. He even made a decent civilian identity. He made a friend in school. He even allowing his siblings to be near him. He still doesn't like how his siblings want to treat him like a small kid. He may be short but he is very mature. Dick has a bad habit of treating Damian like baby of the family. Damian stabbed him few times for it but the eldest continues to bulldoze his way into Damian life. The only sibling that Damian hasn't even attempted to tolerate is Tim. Tim avoided Damian like the plague and Damian didn't care. Until one day, when Tim catch a stomach bug and Alfred told him that he needs rest few days.

Damian took his shot and requested to be Robin. His father allowed with few restrictions. Damian didn't care as he tried not to show his excitement. He went to changed into custom robin costume was on display until the one day he will earn the title of Robin. He went to get dressed in the dressing room. He put the costume on and looked in the mirror. He smiled before placed the domino mask on his face.

"Robin, report."said Batman.

"prepared and ready to proceed"Damian replied before leaving.

4 years later

Damian was milking his pet cow as he enjoyed the peaceful silence when it was disturbed by his eldest brother, dick. He strolled in with a chirp smile as he disregarded Damian annoyance.

"Baby bat, that superhero movie was release today. We can watch it before the gala tonight." Dick suggests. Damian declines as he finishes up his task.

"It's the squeal to one we saw last year." Dick adds.

"No."said Damian. He didn't want to see the first movie originally. He only went because dick lied about taking him home after spending the night at his apartment. Damian and dick grew closer over the years. It mostly due to dick constantly visiting the Wayne manor.

"But I already brought the tickets!"he whines.

"Take drake." Damian suggests. Tim and Damian relationship isn't the best. But it's better now that Damian is the official Robin. Tim became Red Robin after giving the title to Damian.

"Alfred made him finally go to bed. So he is knock over for a rest of the day." Said dick. Tim does have a coffee addiction due to terrible insomnia. So Alfred tricks him into sleeping most of the time.

"Don't you have other siblings to bother." Said Damian as he carried the bucket of milk to the other side of the barn.

"Cass and Steph are on a cruise right now."said dick. Damian would suggest Jason but Jason likes to avoid interacting with the family. He only comes to visit when Alfred requests it which it's rare. Damian see Jason more on patrol as red hood. Jason is great at protecting crime alley even though he uses more lethal techniques. Damian and Jason relationship is more work base than family based and they are okay with that.

Damian pours the milk into a jar as his brother continues to beg. He ignores the older one as he finishes the task. He leaves the barn with dick on his heels.

"Grayson, the answer is no."said Damian. Dick pouts. Damian rolls his eyes as he continues to walks back to the manor.

"Master Damian, are you ready to be fitted for your suit tonight?"asked Alfred. Damian agrees.

"I will take him Alfred!"dick volunteers. Damian glared at him.

"I rather drive myself."said Damian. He knows how to drive any vehicle. He was taught during his time at the league. He left the league but the league didn't leave him. Literally! His grandfather sends clone of Damian to kill Damian because he left the league without noticed.

"That's not legal."said dick as he walks towards the garage. Damian follows behind him. He looks annoyed as dick drives to movie instead of the store but Damian doesn't fight as they walk in. Damian found the movie pleasant as the first movie but didn't voice his thoughts to dick in hopes of not being invited to the movies again.

Damian got his suit for tonight gala. The gala was a fundraiser to raise money for the endangered turtles. It was great opportunity for their civilian selves to have great publicity especially since his father owns a very successful technology company, Wayne enterprise.

Damian has been to few gala over years. It the same routine of greeting people and small talk about the wealth of their businesses. Damian usually can just fade into the background as the event is going on. He sticks to his siblings to avoid small talk. Damian wasn't good small talk which is why he is annoyed that tim and dick skipping the gala. Damian wasn't allow to because someone had to represent for Bruce children.

Damian sip on his sparking cider as he watches his father speak to different people at the event. Damian was waiting for good moment to approach his father and request that he be sent home. Damian rather be on patrol. Bruce has just recently allow him to go patrol without him long as he stays connect with Red Robin at home base.

Damian was about to walk toward him when a drunk girl bumped into him. She spill her drink on Damian suit. He was about to scold her when he felt a burning sensation on his neck and abdomen. His vision turned blurry as the girl ran from him . Before Damian could attempt to chase her, he fell to the ground.

Damian woke up to multiple voices talking around. He was in hospital. His family was gather in the room arguing with the doctor. Damian sat up. He was felt very weak as he sat up in bed. He was about to speak when he started regurgitating. Everyone turn their attention to the teen emptying his stomach contents onto the floor.

"I will get a janitor." Said the doctor as he realized he finally had an excuse to leave the room. He left quickly. Damian was very fatigue.

"What happened?" Damian demands.

"Bio weapon. The woman that spill that drink on you was a new recruit of joker." Bruce explains.

"Tim is running tests on the substance at home but so far it's not a normal poison." Dick adds. Damian took a deep breath as he fights urge to vomit. His body should be stronger than this. Grandfather had forced him to have a high tolerance to poisons.

"The doctors are treating the symptoms but they don't know what's happening. We are dealing with bio weapon, we need to relocate." Said Bruce. He doesn't trust the hospital to keep it a secret.

"If we are dealing a bio weapon, but this could be a bad combination of poisons. Tim isn't sure yet, B." Said dick.

Damian spend the next couple days silencing withering in pain. Dick stay to keep Damian company while Bruce investigates more. But dick know Damian was suffering especially when he realized Damian hates vomiting. Damian will force him not do it when through the doctor high suggest that teen allow body to remove to toxic if it able to.

Damian in bed curl up with very pale face. He was getting worse by the day.then finally, Tim find some information about the substance. It was a rare poison that come from a plant a small island in Europe. The treatment was simple. Damian needs blood transfusions to boost his immunity so he can receive the vaccine. It's should be simple. Unfortunately it wasn't.

"Sir, yes are match biological but your son need a donor who was also unvaccinated from the narwhal virus otherwise your antibiotics will cause a new infection in him."the doctor explains before leaving the room.

"What's the narwhal virus?"asked Damian as his body shivers.

"It's a disease that was eliminated a few decade ago that was killing millions of kids. That's why everyone get the vaccine within the first month of being born." Said dick. Damian was angry at grandfather and mother for not taking proper of him. Damian didn't get vaccinations because it wasn't need because his grandfather believed he could train the kid body to be stronger than any disease. They didn't even record his birth. Damian didn't have a birth certificate when he arrived at Wayne manor. So Talia could prove by timeline that Damian was Bruce son. They had to do a parental test. Then he frowned when he realized having his twin could be helpful right now.

He tries not to think about him often but moments like this reminds him what he lost and would never get back.

In amity park

Danny was eating his burger as Sam rants about how the mayor is trying to knock down an old building to build more apartments. Tucker and Danny were nodding along as they ate.  Tucker was scrolling on his phone as he half listened to Sam.

"-that money should be use to fix it!"said Sam. She stop to take a bite of her veggie burger.

"Sam, this vlad, we are talking about. That fruitloop isn't going to do that." Said Danny. Vlad only became mayor for the money. He isn't going to spend it on helping the community.

"Actually, he is. Article was post few minutes ago that the demolition of the building is happening in few days from now."said Tucker.

"Let me see that."said Sam before snatching the phone from him.

" it's right under the article talking about son of CEO of Wayne enterprise was hospitalized after chemical attack at a gala."Said Tucker. Danny raised an eyebrow at that.

Danny found that his brother went to live with his father few years ago through a news article. Unfortunately the lockdown was still placed at the time. So Danny couldn't escape the city to meet his brother. Danny followed the Gotham news article in hopes to stay updated about his brother. Damian tries to stay out of the camera light when in public but when he is robin, he doesn't care about the cameras. Danny gets more updated about Damian's vigilante life than civilian life with the news articles.

The lockdown was lifted last year after the ghost appearances deceased dramatically. The public assumes it because phantom defeated them all but his friends know it because he accidentally became the ghost king. So the ghost respect him more and claim on amity park as his haunt.

"Let me see that."said Danny. He took the phone Sam. He went to article about Damian. He was rushed the ER and public speculate that chemicals damaged his face.

Danny was about read another article when he felt a cold sigh escaped his lips. He clicked his teeth in annoyance. He passed the phone to Tucker before Danny ran to restroom to transform. He flew the roof and surveyed the area from the ghost. It was Johnny 13 standing next to his bike. Danny landed in front of him.

"Why are you here?"asked Danny. Johnny isn't a violent ghost usually but he is in a toxic relationship with another ghost, kitty. They always breaking up and made it Danny problem to solve.

"I am just the messenger." Said Johnny. Danny nodded. " some ghost from Gotham is requesting to the king. She ain't leaving until you come, kid."he adds. Danny sighs. Danny hates being king. He hates the political of it and the constant need to be the peacemaker between ghosts.

"Let's go." Said Danny. They turn invisible and fly to the Fenton portal. Danny texts his friends that king duties to attend to and make excuse for him if his parents ask about him. His foster parents never do. His sister will ask about him but she knows that his phantom. But she will keep his secret.

Jazz and Danny bond over the neglectful and reckless the fentons are. They grow closer when jazz discovered that Danny is a half ghost. Jazz is little more overprotective now but Danny can tolerate it.

Once they enter the portal, they went to the king castle. It's officially Danny now but the only people who stay there are fright knight and his clone, Dani. Dani doesn't even stay long because she just dropping off stuff so she can continue traveling the world.

Johnny stopped at the entrance of the castle before turning around to speed off into the distance. Danny went to the thrown room where most of the meeting took place. Danny sat on the throne. There were a lady with long hair standing in the middle of the room.

"Speak."he states.

"Your highness, I am lady Gotham. My haunt is Gotham. But one of friad has been gravely injured, I need you heal him."she said.

"I don't have the power to heal the living."Danny points out. Danny has a laundry list of powers and healing the living isn't one of them.

"No but you are the perfect match to donate blood to him, your highness."she said.

"Why is that?"asked Danny as he narrowed his eyes.

"You two are identical twins after all." She said. Danny glow brighter as his royal cape  around his shoulder and crown above his head appear.

"Where did you get that information?" Asked Danny. Nobody knows how he originally dead nor about his previous life before death. He never shared that with anyone.

"I do have ears. Especially when one of my friad are crying to the stars about a death twin of his." Said lady Gotham.

"I can't stay long."said Danny. It's the main reason why Danny hasn't reach out to his brother yet. He needs a ghost portal to get ectoplasm in his body to function. He been trying to learn create portals for few months with little progress.

"Of my course. I will lend you my portal from travel there. I will allow you back once you are done healing him."she said. Danny agrees. She opens a portal they both enter. They appear on a rooftop near a hospital. Danny transforms back to his human self.

"I will meet you have once the job is finished." She said. Danny nods. He exit the rooftop by using the fire escape. Once he enters the hospital, it was easy to sneak around and find out where Damian was.  He was in a VIP suite on fourth floor. Danny took the stairs. Once he near the door, Danny got nervous. He hasn't seen his brother in years. A multitude of what if enter his mind. But reminds himself that he is here to help and leave. He enters the room. Dick Grayson was sitting on the couch but stood up when Danny entered the room.  Damain looked widen eyed.

"Who are you?"asked dick.

"That's a great question."said danny. He looked at Damian who still in shock. " aki, who I am?" He adds. Damain suddenly started regurgitating. Then Danny remembers why he is here and isn't for a reunion. Danny looks at dick.

"I am Danyal Al Ghul, son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul. Damian's twin brother."said Danny.

At Gotham hospital

Dick Grayson was still in shock at what the teen just said. Danny placed his hands in his pockets.

"I heard I am the perfect match to donate blood." Danny immediately. Dick narrow his eyes at him.

"How do you know that?"asked dick. This could be another clone that Ra sent to kill Damian. But Damian doesn't seem suspicious of this clone at least. However, Damian is severely sick so his mind may be foggy.

"Because I am his twin."said Danny in obvious tone.

"How did even know Damian was here?"asked dick.

"You do know that HIPPA mean nothing when celebrities are involved , right."said Danny as blames Damian's nurses for leaking information to cover that city ghost told him.

"But why-"Damian interrupted dick.

"You can get a DNA test done while he is here. But let him help."said Damian in weak voice but stern tone. Damian isn't sure if this was delirium right now or not. But he isn't going kick his twin who can actually help him right now.

"Fine. I will inform the doctor."said dick before leaving.

"You suppose to be dead." Said Damian as body shivered.

"Uh, I got better?"danny suggested.

"Danyal."he said sternly.

"It's a long story short. The grandfather killed me but the pit revived me."said Danny casually. Damian looked at him with fire in his eyes. Danny could sense the murderous aura out of him. Danny took a step behind as he mentally prepared for combat.

" I am going to kill him."said Damian.

~meanwhile at the batcave

Tim was sipping on his coffee as he continued to research where the lady that joke recruited went. He wished Steph was available. He needs extra set of eyes to view all the footage of the city to track the woman. Suddenly he got a FaceTime on his computer screen from dick. He answered as he focus on the street footage.

"I am busy."said Tim.

"I need you connect me to the live footage of Damian hospital room and run background on this kid."said dick. Tim focus his attention to the live feed of Damian hospital room. Tim set up a camera to ensure that everyone is always watching over his sick brother. Tim had in on mute playing on one the monitor. Tim looked confused at the blurry image of a person standing in the room near Damian bed. Tim connected dick to the live feed and turn up the volume.

"You suppose to be dead."said Damian with mask of indifference.

"Timber, can you fix the image. The other kid look blurry."said dick.

"What do you think I am doing?"said Tim as he working on fixing the image.

"Danyal."growled Damian.

"Who is Danyal?"asked Tim to dick who looks he is walking somewhere.

"Apparently Damian's dead twin."said dick. Tim looked at dick with confusion. "I know. But if this is true then he is the only person who can help Damian right now. I am getting the doctor right now."

"I am going to kill him!!!"growled Damian. Tim turned his focus from the coding screen to live feed. Damian was trying to leave the bed but the other kid was holding him down by placing his hand in Damian chest.

"We can kill him after you get better.i didn't come here to watch you die."said Danyal. Damian stopped struggling before pushing Danyal hand away.

"We? There is no we! If grandfather finds out you are alive. He will stop at nothing to get his golden child back."said Damian. Danyal chuckled. Damian eyes widen in shock at his Danyal face as the blurry image of the kid turned into static. Tim heard static through the feed as Damian continued to look shocked. Suddenly the static turn back the blurry image of the kid.

"I promise to explain when you get better."said Danyal.

"No. Tell me now."Damian demands. Danyal place his blurry hand near Damian. Damian smirks.

"You owe me a pinkie."said Damian. Danyal chuckles.

"Actually I said I will explain later. Later isn't a time limit."said Danyal.Damian link his pinkie with Danyal. Danyal sat on bed and ask Damian about what exactly happened at the gala.

Dick found the doctor and quickly ended up the phone. Tim created new documents to analyze the small information he got.

~meanwhile at the hospital

The doctor came and took Danny to another room. They drew his blood into a vial for donor testing. Then they took hair samples and mouth swabs for the DNA test. Danny waited for the results of the blood test in the room. He pulled out his phone. His friends were questioning what exactly is Danny doing as ghost duties. He wanted to text them back and explain that he needs help his brother. But how can he explain that he was ex assassins that was killed because his grandfather wanted his brother died.

But first he needs to think of what to tell his brother about his ghost side. He sighs as he tries to think of ways that wouldn't make Damian killed him for real. Danny has researched Gotham city in past when there was hope to reunite with his brother. Gotham isn't known to be meta human friendly place. He doubts it's ghost friendly.

The doctor came back with the results of the donor test. Danny was a match. The doctor immediately ordered a nurse to get Danny set up for a blood transfusion. Danny spent the next 30 mins with a IV in his arm as he slowly watch his blood fill up a bag. While the blood slowly leaving his body, he thoughts continue to run a bunch of what if. He realizes he can't stay here with Damian. His heart breaking at the thought of leaving him again but he needs to be leader of his citizens in ghost zone and protect amity park.

After the bag was full and nurse removed the IV from his arm. The nurse gave him instructions how to return to Damian room. Danny nods but he discards the directions and leaves the hospital. He goes to meet lady Gotham at the rooftop that they enter from. She appeared in front of him.

"I helped my brother. Now please return me back amity park."said Danny. Lady Gotham shook her head.

"You will be allow you back once you are done healing him." Said lady Gotham.

"Once he has the blood transfusion, he will fine."Danny points out.

"Healing isn't just physical, your highness. You are the reason for his broken heart. It's time for you to mend the pieces back together."said lady Gotham.

"I can't stay here long."said Danny.

"That young boy has been hurting for years. I am trying healing my friad. You would do the same?"asked lady Gotham.

"I would love to be able to bond my brother again but I have responsibilities that it's bigger than us."said Danny. The ghost zone needs a leader or it will get unbalanced then they will be war on their hands. If Danny could leave amity park at a moment notice without repercussions to visit to his brother, he would have did it already.

"You accepted the term of the use of my portal before entering." Lady Gotham states. Danny folded his arms.

"As your king, I order you to return me back to amity park."said Danny. Danny doesn't use commands often but lady Gotham is backing him into a corner right now.

"If I send you back, I will take your fraid and hid Gotham where you can't find them." She threatens. Danny sighs in frustration.

"Fine."he agrees. He texts Dani as he leaves the rooftop.

Danny: you are in charge in charge until I come back. Inform fright knight and clockwork.

At the hospital

Damian was getting the blood transfusion. He felt better within couple minutes. He turned to dick who was texting on his phone as he stared out of the window.

"Where is Danyal?"asked Damian. Dick looked at his younger brother.

"Don't know. The staff says he left after giving the blood."said dick. Damian looked disappointed for moment because masking behind a face of indifference.

"Did drake inform father of Danyal yet?"asked Damian. Damian knew Tim was watching live stream from the cameras. He surprised that his father isn't already here to question him about his new son.

"He is with justice league right now. So Tim and me decided to wait."said dick. Damian scoffed.

"You waiting for the DNA results."said Damian. He doesn't blame his family for being suspicious of Danyal. He should be too but his judgment is being overlapped by the fact that brother is alive.

"So you have a twin?"asked dick. Damian nods. Dick looks at him like he wants more information. Damian remain silent.

The blood transfusion was almost done when Danny walked in. Damian sit up as Danny entered.

"How you feeling?"asked Danny as he ignored dick staring at him.

"Better but I want to finish our conversation from earlier." Said Damian.

"Can we speak freely here?"asked Danny in Arabic. He glanced at dick. Dick glare at the change of language he doesn't know.

"Our conversation can wait."said Damian as he tries to hide his disappointment in his voice. Danny looked at dick. He smiled politely.

"I never caught your name."said Danny. It was a lie. Danny knew all about the Wayne family. He even discovered every one of their secret identities.

"Dick Grayson."he said. Danny laughed before sobering up when he realize dick was serious.

"Sorry but your parents probably hated you."said Danny. Dick looks slightly annoyed.

"My parents didn't understand the meaning of the name in English."dick explains. Danny nods.

"Well people call me Danny because they can't pronounce Danyal." Said Danny. His foster parents called him Daniel but Danny was good compromise.

"They are idiot if they can't pronounce that simple name."said Damian.

"You couldn't when you were younger."Danny points out. Damian glared at him.

"When I spoke with a lisp don't not fit in the same category as someone purposely mispronouncing your name."said Damian.

"You had a lisp?"said dick to Damian. Damian changed the topic.

"Danyal, how long are you staying here?"asked Damian. Danny shrugs.

"My school is out for a few weeks due to renovations."said Danny. That was a total lie and he doubts Damian believes it. But this lie was better than telling his brother that he can't return home until he fix his brother heart.

"Why are renovations need?" Asked Damian. He isn't going to send his brother back to unsafe conditions.

"Some idiot drove a car into the school during police chase."said Danny. Then suddenly the door open, Tim and Bruce walked in.

"B, I thought you were busy."said dick. He looked at Tim for an explanation.

"Cass hacked into my system and texted B."said Tim as he answered the unspoken question.

"Father, this is my twin Danyal." Said Damian. Danny looked confused.

"I thought you would be taller."said Danny. Dick and Tim chuckled.

"I thought the same."said Damian.

"Nice to meet you, Danyal."said Bruce flatly as he visibly scanned the blue eyed boy in front of him.

"Call me Danny."said Danny with a polite smile as ignored the indifference on his father face. Bruce looked at Damian.

"Status report."said Bruce.

"Pain level is 6/10 and nausea is gone."said Damian flatly. Bruce hummed in response before speaking again.

"Good now one of you explain how this happened?"asked Bruce as he gesture to the twins. Danny smiled playfully.

"Well when a woman and man like each other-" Damian clicked his teeth. Danny stopped talking and became serious.

"Grandfather killed me but the Lazarus pit saved me."said danny.

"Grandfather is going die by my hand soon as I am out of this hospital."said Damian. Danny scoffed.

"Your hand? Bold of you to assume I won't kill him first." Said Danny.

"There was be no killing of your grandfather. We don't need a war right now." Said Bruce. Danny rolled his eyes.

"I forgot you have a no kill policy."said Danny.

"Speaking of parental figures, where are yours, danny?"asked Tim with a raised eyebrow.

"Foster parents are at home. They won't noticed me gone."said Danny. Since especially he will text Tucker to sleep over this weekend.

"Are they neglectful?"asked Damian with concern.

"No."said Danny sternly. He didn't need the family of detectives looking into his foster family.

"Then how did you get here if they are not here?"asked Tim. Tim is suspicious of the teen. He just shows up here randomly to save the day. Tim thinks it's not a coincidence.

"I lied and told them I was staying at friend house."said Danny.

"Who is this friend?"asked Bruce.

"None of ya business. I came here to help my brother. Not to be interrogated."said Danny. He should had expected to be interrogated by the family of bats but he didn't had time to prepare himself.

Danny looked at Damian who was glaring at his brothers. Danny mumbled in Arabic. Damian gave him a look of understanding. Danny left the room.

"You all idiot!! You scared him away. You all will regret this when test result comes back."said Damian.

Damian was release from the hospital few hours later. The car ride home was quiet when they arrived at the manor. Alfred greeted them, Damian ignored him. He immediately went to his room as he heard dick scold Tim in the distant. He closed his door and locked it.

He pull his phone out and input the number that Danny spoke to him. He text the number.

Damian: is this line safe?
Danny: are you going to track this line?
Damian: not yet.
Danny: yes this line is secure.

Damian saved the number as 🚀.

🚀: I missed you, aki
Damian: me too.

~meanwhile somewhere in Gotham

Danny was sitting on a rooftop. He was contemplating if he could fly back to amity park. He glanced at his phone.

Danny: I missed you, aki
🐈: me too

He ran his hand through his hair. He needs to get back to the ghost zone to maintain order but his brother needs him. Then his phone rings, his friend Sam.

Sam: what happened?
Danny: is Tucker with you?
Sam: yeah.

Danny explains to them what all happened in last few hours.

Sam: you have a brother?!
Tucker: you related to the ceo of Wayne tech!!!
Danny: I left Elle in charge of ghost zone but need you guys to be in charge of protecting amity park from any ghost that escape.

Danny knows his clone, Dani can handle the ghost politics and maintain order within the ghost zone. The only reason why she not in charge all the time is because she loves traveling.

Tucker: why can't you come back?you can just fly here.
Danny: it's not that simple. Technically I made a verbal agreement with another ghost. I don't remember the consequences of breaking it because I started zoning out when clockwork explaining it but I rather not risk it.
Sam:that ghost lady said that you have fix your brother's heart. You just being with him should mend his heart.
Danny: again. Not that simple. I could just reunite with him but the moment I leave to go back to amity park. His heart will probably break again. It's just not short term but long term problem.
Sam: well I guess you have to build a bond that can't be broken by distance.
Danny: easier say than done.
Tucker: you got this! I will cover for you.
Sam: I will tell jazz for you.
Danny: thank guys.

Danny ends the call. He looks up at the cloudy night sky. He frown.

"The stars are present if even you unable to visibly see them."Damian. Danny smiled at the memory. He wonders if Bruce allows pets.

At the Wayne manor

Danny stood outside the manor front door. Damian texted him this morning to meet him here so they can talk. Danny was nervous about the conversation they will have. If Damian doesn't accept him then Danny really can't go back to amity park because Damian never going stop mourning over him.

Danny knock on the door. A fancy dressed butler answered.

"You are master Damian guest,correct?"asked Alfred. Danny nods. "Follow me" he adds. They walked through the luxury home to the backyard and passed a huge garden. They arrived at a barn.

"Master Damian is inside."said Alfred before leaving. Danny cautiously enters the barn. Damian was sitting on a pail of hay as he pets a cat.

"How many?"asked Danny.

"3 on house ground, 2 at a animal sanctuary."said Damian with a smirk. Danny join his brother on the hay. The cat moves from Damian to Danny. The cat purrs loudly as it settles in Danny lap.

"So are you ready to tell me the truth about what happened after you disappeared?"asked Damian. Danny told him exactly happen the day that switched places. Damian wasn't happy.

"Grandfather told me that your helicopter crashed !"said Damian as he clenched his fists.

"Do you want your emotional support animal back?"asked Danny as he stop petting the cat. Damian glared at him.

"Alfred is not my emotional support animal."said Damian. The cat moved from Danny lap to Damian. The cat nuzzle Damian abdomen as his purrs. Damian pets the cat.

"After he killed you, what happened?"asked Damian. Danny shook his head.

"Tell me what happened after I died, Robin." Said Danny.

"You did some research."Damian stated. Danny nods. Damian tells him about his journey about becoming Robin. Danny looks at Damian with pride. Damian looks away from Danny as he talks about few missions and cases that he helped solved. Then Danny realizes something.

"If I am technically dead according to grandfather and you left the league. Who is the in charge of the league of assassins?"asked Danny.

"Our sources say it's still grandfather but father says we can't attack since they show no evidence of crimes at the moment."said Damian. Danny gave Damian a flat look. " I made father aware of the leagues past crimes but it's all hearsay according to father. He believes in evidence and detective work." He adds.

"Well you have proof of murder."said Danny as he gestures to himself. Damian narrowed his eyes.

"Technically attempted murder since you are alive which reminds me. Why are you alive?!"said Damian.

"The Lazarus pit I was pushed into after being electrocuted by a tazer. It healed me then killed me. It was cycle of drowning to death over and over. Until I was dump out a portal in amity park." Said Danny. Damian looks sympathetic. " aki, I am not alive, I am ghost." He adds nervously. Damian raised an eyebrow.

"Ghost can’t give blood."said Damian.

"Technically I am halfa. Half human, half ghost." Said Danny. Damian looked confused. Danny stood up. Two bright rings appeared around his wait as his transform into a ghost. Damian shielded his eyes from the brightness.

"Interesting."said Damian as he looks at his brother. He had many questions but the nervous look on Danny told him that his question must wait.

"Aki, you can't tell anyone about my secret identity." Said Danny. Damian agrees. Danny changes back.

"You not weird out?"asked Danny. Damian shook his head.

"After working few cases with the justice league, I can't be creeped out by people."said Damian. Danny hugs Damian. The cat jumped out of Damian lap and onto the floor to escape the affection. Damian hugged him back. Even though Danny body temperature is cold, Damian felt warmth of his brother embraced. Damian smiled softly as he embraced him tighter. Then suddenly the barn door opens.

"Brat, Alfred said-"Tim stopped talking when the twin separated from the hug. Damian was glaring at Tim. That was best hug he had in years and tim ruined it.

"What do you want drake?"growled Damian.

"When did you get here?"asked Tim to Danny who was petting the cat at his feet.

"That information isn't relevant for you."said Damian. Tim glared at him." Why are you here?" He asks.

"Alfred, want me to bring you to breakfast. I guess your friend can join us." Said Tim. Danny smiled before picking up the cat.

"Aki, you can bring your emotional support animal!!"said Danny. Damian glared at Danny.

"He isn't my emotional support animal!!"said Damian. "Don't be imbecile. You are joining us for breakfast." He said before snatching the cat out of Danny arms to release him on the ground. Damian grabs Danny wrist and guides him back to the house. Tim follows behind the duo. Tim is confused and intrigued by Damian behavior when he is around Danny.

They arrived at dining room. Bruce was seated at the head of the table. He stared at Danny as the duo sat at the table.

"Seems like we don't scared him with questions." Said Tim to Bruce. Tim couldn't wait for the result so he can get this bad clone out of the house. Tim believes Damian delirium is a side effect of his medication he took and he not realizing this a clone.

"I am not obligated to answer any questions I don't want to."Danny points outs. Damian agrees. Alfred served them breakfast.

"Why wasn't you with Damian at the manor when he arrived years ago?"asked Tim.

"I was busy dying."said Danny casually as he starts cutting into his pancakes.  Tim looked at Danny to explain more but Danny didn't. Danny began eating.

"Who are your foster parents? We should inform them that you are here and safe."said Bruce.

"No need. I call them this morning."said Danny with a polite smile. Tucker called this morning to inform him that his plan is working flawlessly.

"But we need discuss with your parents how to raising you moving forward."said Bruce. Tim looked at the older man in slight shock as he realized what he is implying.

"Are you sure?"asked Tim to Bruce. Damian smirks.

"I told you that Danyal is my brother."said Damian.

"The parental test shows that Danny is my son."said Bruce. Tim glared at his food. He can't believe Bruce is just allowing this stranger boy in the house without question because they're related.

"Congratulations, it's a boy."Tim mumbled bitterly.

"I will prepare a room near master Damian."said Alfred.

"No need. I will just stay with Damian."said Danny. Tim looked at Damian who was unbothered by the fact that someone else will be in his room. Damian didn't like nobody in his room. Alfred was the only was allowed in there.

"I will still prepare another room just in case."said Alfred before leaving the room.

"Danny where do you live?"asked Tim.

"With my foster parents."said Danny.

"And where do they live?"asked Tim as he hides his annoyance in his voice.

"In a house."said Danny.

"Damian, how you give Danny a tour of the manor?"suggest Bruce. Damian agrees. He grabs Danny wrist and leaves the room. Tim looks at Bruce.

"He definitely that brat twin alright."said Tim.

"Direct questions won't work on him. He has league training."Bruce explains. Then tim gets an idea. He texts his older brother.

At the manor

Damian finished up the tour at library. Danny was browsing the aisles. Damian followed behind him.

"Do you like it here?"asked Danny as he look at third row of books.

"It's Tolerable."said Damian flatly. Danny smiles. He glad that his brother found a better home than the league.

"Do you like there?"asked Damian as he pulls a random book from the shelf.

"It's tolerable."said Danny. Amity park is a love-hate relationship for Danny. His friends and foster sister jazz made living amity park enjoyable. However, vlad and his ghost hunting foster parents made him hate it.

Damian looked at Danny with slight frown. Danny ignored the concern in Damian eyes as he opens a random book.

"Danyal, you always welcome in the manor."said Damian. Danny glance at his brother before closing the book.

"Tell more about your siblings." Asked Danny. Damian corrects him.

"Our siblings."said Damian.

"You wouldn't accept my foster sister like family as I did."Danny points out. Damian ignored his comment.

"Dick Grayson. The acrobat. Annoyingly optimistic. He insists on being everyone's big brother, and somehow, it works. He's insufferably kind, but... tolerable."said Damian.

"Your favorite?"he said with a smirk.

"No. Then Jason Todd. The angry one. Shot, resurrected, now he thinks he's the Punisher. He's unpredictable but efficient. Occasionally useful, when he isn't brooding or blowing things up."said Damian. Danny needs meet this Jason person because if he is ghost like himself. He wanted to meet him since researching the Wayne family.

"Tim drake. The detective. Smarter than he looks. Overcompensates. Constantly needs to prove himself. He doesn't like me, and the feeling was mutual... once."said Damian.

"You tried to kill him."said Danny. Damian folded his arms. " wait he was Robin before you right? So you were jealous!" He starts laughing.

"Stop Danyal. Focus because I am not repeating myself." Said Damian.

"Okay. Okay."said Danny as he calms down.

"Stephanie Brown. She's... loud. And stubborn. And for some reason, she thinks sarcasm is a personality. But she holds her own. Surprisingly." Said Damian.

"Would she be better than me?"asked Danny. Damian shook his head.

"Highly doubt."said Damian. Danny smirks.

"Cassandra Cain. She doesn't talk much. Doesn't have to. She's deadly—more than all of us, even Father. If I had to pick someone to have my back in a fight, it would be her."said Damian. He paused before continuing. " you was gone. I needed to pick someone to be my ally" he adds quietly.

That hurt his heart more than he expected. He understands Damian logical but his heart is guilty about failing his primary goal to be Damian ally.

"I am sorry." Said Danny. Damian pats Danny shoulder.

"How rusty is your sword skills?"asked Damian.

"Actually I don't know."said Danny. They left the library and began in the direction of the training room when dick appeared. He immediately hugged Danny.

"Welcome to the family!"said dick. Danny chuckled at the new behavior of the older man. Dick from being suspicious to welcoming. Danny wonders if Tim will do the same.

"We should go to batburger to celebrate!said dick.

"Don't you have work to be at."said Damian.

"I can't pass up free food, lil bro."said Danny to Damian. Damian glared at him.

"Lil bro? So Damian is younger?"asked dick. Damian elbowed Danny in the side.

"No. Mother kept that classified. So we don't know."said Damian. Their mother did that on purpose to see which son will be the best to be the heir.

"But Damian give younger brother vibes, you know."said Danny. Dick laughs.

"Retract that's statement."said Damian sternly.

"No, I don't think I will."said Danny with a smirk.

"Retract it."Damian threatened. Dick sighs when he realizes he will have to break up a fight this morning.

"Make me."said Danny. Damian lunged at his twin. Danny starts running. Damian followed behind him. Dick watches with slight confusion. Danny was giggling as he teases Damian. Damian isn't throwing of his katanas.

Danny jump over furniture and slides around corners to escape his brother. Then suddenly Damian tackles him the ground. Dick rushes over to the teens and silent hopes thier new brother is okay. When he arrives, the teens was sitting on ground smiling .

"You got slow."said Damian.

"Nuh."
"Yuh."
"Nuh!"
"Yuh!"

Dick stood there in shock. He never seen Damian smile and actually act in own age. Damian noticed dick present. He masked his expression.

"Aki, decline his ridiculous invitation."said Damian.

"I am in! Aki, let's go!"said Danny. He stands up and pulls Damian up. They left the manor and went batburger. Danny noticed Damian ordered a vegan burger.

"It was the cow, right?"asked Danny. Damian told the story on how he received batcow and become vegan.

"One of friend is also vegan."said Danny.

"Good. More people should be."said Damian as he looks at his brothers who order a regular burger. Then Danny phone chimed. Danny pulled out his phone. It was Dani.

Dani: this royal stuff is boring! When are you coming back?!
Danny: soon

Then his phone rings. He sighs before excusing himself from the table and leaving the fast food joint. He stood by a light post before answering it.

Dani: soon?! isnt a answer Danny!!
Danny: look I am dealing with human business right now. I will explain it to you when I get back. Just bear the crown for little while.
Dani: a little while?! Danny, you better hurry up before I trying placing ghost in soup jail.

Dani hanged up. Danny sighs. Moments like this reminds him that Dani is still young and has short temper. He silences hopes that Dani doesn't ruin the little peace they have in ghost zone.

Danny goes back inside the building. Damian was glaring at dick. Dick looked smug.

"Danny. You mentioned baby bat here had a lisp growing up."said dick. Danny looked at Damian who silent threats him with a look. Danny took a sit.

"Technically it wasn't lisp because it only appeared when he had his thumb in his mouth."said Danny.

"You were a thumb sucker!"said dick to Damian. Damian looked murderous.

"Don't you dare tell anyone what Danyal told you." He threatens.

At the manor

Dick was filling in Tim small tidbits that he gather while having lunch with the twins. Tim looked at him flatly. Dick was giving random unhelpful facts.

"Did he say anything about his foster parents?"asked Tim. Dick shook his head.

"Any about where he lives?"asked Tim. Dick shook head.

"Did he say anything useful?"asked Tim.

"I got some great blackmail against Damian."said sick. Tim rubbed his temple in annoyance.

"That's not helpful."said Tim.

"Why you want to know anyway? You should be more focus getting your new brother to like you. You didn't bond well last brother we added to the family."said dick.

"I don't know dick but something is off about Danny. I can't put my finger on it. He must be hiding something."said Tim.

"Once he get comfortable, he will share."dick suggest. Tim rolled his eyes.

"Where are they at now?"asked Tim.

"They heading towards the kitchen last I seen."said dick. Tim pull up the security cameras of manor. He enlarged camera in the kitchen. Damian was hugging Danny.

"That brat must be still be sick."said Tim. Damian never hugs anyone.

"But didn't you tell me that they were hugging this morning in the barn. Why are you surprised?"asked dick.

"It's still odd to see."said Tim. Dick folded his arms.

"Or you jealous that Damian was welcoming when Danny appear in the manor while he stabbed you when welcome him to the manor."dick states. Tim glared at dick for trying psychoanalyze him.

"Don't you have a job to be at."said Tim.

"Timbers, it's good thing that Damian is finally lowering his walls. It's took me months to do that when he first arrived here."said dick.

"It's not good if Danny had ulterior motives! I don't care if Damian hates me. He is still family."said Tim. He just wants to protect Damian from attaching to person who can backstab him.

"So is Danny."dick points out.

"Until Danny isn't suspicious, he is no brother of mine."said Tim sternly.

~meanwhile in the kitchen

Danny was sitting on the counter as he sipped his milkshake. Damian lean against the counter next to him as he drink his milkshake.

"Homemade milkshake are always the best."said Danny. Damian nods.

"I learned from pennyworth. He made very delicious cookies too but he is more tip lipped about that recipe."said Damian. " did learn any new recipes?" He asked as he raised an eyebrow. Danny shook his head.

"My sister, jazz cooks everything."said Danny. Damian placed his milkshake on the counter next to him.

"And not your parents?"asked Damian. He wants his twin to stay with him but he insists on leaving. He will make sure that he return somewhere adequate.

"They are not parents." He states with hint of annoyance in his voice. He sighed to calm down before Damian feeds off his emotions. When the two of them get angry, it's never good. "They are better than being at the league. So they are okay in my book." He adds.

"That's low bar, Aki."said Damian flatly. Danny agrees.

"Speaking of the league."said Danny. He hop off the counter. He hugs Damian. " I am glad I can hug you whenever I want." He adds. Damian chuckled.

"You are the reason why mother made the no public affection rule."Damian mumbled as he hugs him back. Danny released Damian from his embrace so he can finish his milkshake.

"This is really good."said Danny. Damian looks at his own milkshake as he spoke.

"If you stay, I can make this all the time."Damian states. Danny frown.

"I can't."Danny admits.

"Ghost related?"he asked in Arabic. Danny nods. Damian frown slightly. Damian was about ask questions about it when his phone rang. Damian took his phone out of his pocket. It was his friend, Jon calling. Damian declined the call.

"You not doing answer that?"asked Danny.

"No. It's a nuisance."said Damian. Jon called again.

"It's must be friend if they have your number."Danny points out. "I always answer when my friends call." He adds.

"Jon is talkative. He can text whatever he wants to blabber about and I will ignore it."said Damian. Danny looked at his twin with disapproval.

"That's not how you should treat a friend."said Danny.

"I didn't require your advice."said Damian. Danny rolled his eyes.

"Of course you didn't. That's why I provided it."said Danny. Damian narrowed his eyes before masking his expression.

"You know we didn't get to assess your sword performance yet."said Damian.

"If you wanted to spar, you could just ask."said Danny with a smirk. Damian guided them to the training room. Damian gave Danny a sword. Danny looked at the familiar weapon in his hands. He noticed the blue paint at the bottom of the handle.

"You kept it."Danny says in amazing. Danny always marked his weapons with blue paint to help differentiate it from Damian when they were training with the same weapons.

"I sharpened it this morning."said Damian.

"Where is the second one?"asked Danny. When they switched, Danny had two swords that he gave to Damian.

"My katanas?"asked Damian.

"In a safe place."said Danny. He has the katana and league outfit hidden away in suitcase in his closet.

"Show me if you can still handle one sword and maybe I will give you the second one."said Damian. They went to sparring mat.

"First blood shed?"asked Danny. The winner of the sparring usually was until one of them was too injured to continue but Danny knows they sparring for fun so it should be lower stakes.

"Agreed."said Damian before rushing to Danny. Danny mostly just block and dodge Damian attack as he got readjusted to use of a sword. For the last year, he been fighting with his bare hands and ghost powers.

Damian noticing his twins isn't trying his best so he purposely pokes at Danny weakness.

"Did I ever tell you the time, the joker had me hanging upside down from a building."said Damian. He smirks when he saw fire in Danny eyes. Danny channels that into the fight. Damian struggled a little to dodge off his attacks.

Danny was faster than Damian estimated. Damian was breaking into sweat as he fought back against him. Their weapons continued to hit against each other. Damian was tad bit slow in dodging his attack. Danny sliced Damian arm. Danny immediately dropped his weapon to comfort Damian.

"You are fast."said Damian as he adds pressure to the cut to stop the bleeding on his bicep.

"Are you okay? You not lightheaded, right?"asked Danny.

"It's fine. I had worse. This will in heal in a week."said Damian. He walked to home infirmary. Danny followed behind him. Damian cleaned up the blood.

"Aki, I am fine."said Damian. Danny tries to help by looking for bandages.

"Looking for this?"asked Alfred as he held a bandage. Danny flinched at the butler suddenly appear.  Alfred walks to Damian who was unfazed that Alfred was able to enter the room undetected.

"Master Damian, you should be more careful."said Alfred as he bandage the cut.

"Thanks pennyworth."said Damian.

At the manor

Damian wakes up curl up in Danny embrace. He stares at his twin sleeping face as he realizes yesterday wasn't a dream. His brother really is alive.  There was a knock at the door. Danny wakes up as Alfred walks in with a medical kit.

"Master Damian, I will change the bandage before breakfast."said Alfred. Damian sits up in bed. Danny follows suits as he rubs the sleep out of his eyes. Alfred to the bandage off Damian bicep. The wound was gone. No scarring tissue. Nothing.

"Pennyworth explain."said Damian. Alfred usually can explain anything Damian doesn't know.

"I don't know master Damian."said Alfred. Danny was confused until he looked at Damian arm that is now fully healed.

"Damian remember know that secret I told you about ."said Danny nervous. Damian looks at Alfred.

"Give us a moment, we will be at breakfast soon."said Damian. Alfred leaves. Damian looks at his twin.

"Explain."said Damian.

"It's just a theory."he said nervously as Damian looked at him sternly. " but I think my blood flowing through your body healed more than your sickness."

"I am ghost now?"asked Damian with panic in his eyes. Danny scoffed at the assumption.

"No. You have to be die first. But I think since I shared my blood with you, it gave you my healing ability."said Danny.

"Healing ability?!?"asked Damian in shock.

"It's one of my ghost powers."Danny admits.

"You have powers as a ghost?"asked Damian in slightly confusion. Danny sighs.

"I have laundry list of powers. I will show you one day-" Damian interrupted him with question that Danny didn't want to answer.

"Why not today?"asked Damian.

"Because I don't want to." He said sternly as he omits the true reason. Danny is persevering small amount of ectoplasm in his body until he able to relinquish his levels once he enters amity park. Amity park is high ecto levels. Just being in the city will help him. But being so far away a source of ecto, Danny can't use his ghost powers without draining his levels.

"No desire to or unable to?"asked Damian as he narrows his eyes. He could sense Danny isn't telling him the full reason.

"I don't want to."he replies.

"The healing ability explain more."said Damian.

"My blood has tiny traces of ecto in it. The hospital probably couldn't detect it because it was infused with ectoplasm."said Danny.

"What is this ectoplasm you speak of?"asked Damian. Danny explains the science behind it. Danny did learn a lot from living with ghost hunters.

"Where did you learn this?"asked Damian. Danny stood up from the bed.

"I am starving. Let's go eat."said Danny as he ignored the question that will lead to more questions that Danny can't answer without exposing how dangerous living in amity park is.

"Danyal."said Damian sternly.

"The food is probably getting cold."said Danny as he walks to the door. Damian stopped him by grabbing his arm from opening the door.

"Danyal, what are you not saying? Why is that information important? How it more important than your secret identity?"damian pressed for answers as his annoyance was in his tone. Damian is trying to be patient and let his brother speaking when ready. But the more his twin, more questions he has.

"It's complicated."said Danny.

"No. You are just choosing to complicate it."Damian points.

"I don't want to tell you!"said Danny as lied directly to his twin face. He wishes he could his brother everything but Damian would never let him leave Gotham if he knew what happens in amity park. Danny snatched his arm out of Damian hold and left the room.

"We are not done, Danyal."said Damian as he follow his brother down the hallway.

"Well I am!"said Danny loudly in frustration.

"You just angry."Damian points out. Danny stopped as turns around to face Damian. Danny scoffed.

"Angry? I am not a child any more. I am got better control of my anger but you still got the burning need to know everything single thing!"said danny.

"you still acting like a child, yelling at me. that doesn't seem like growth and maturity to me." damian flatly. danny toss his arms up in defeat.

"i don't know why i am even talking to you."mumbled danny before walking to the staircase.

"danyal, come back here." said damian. danny ignored him as he walked down the stairs. he was at bottom of the stairs when damian raised his voice.

"Danyal!" Said Damian loudly from the top of the stairs.

"Look who is yelling now." Said Danyal with a smirk.

"You were purposely ignoring me."said Damian points out as he walked down the stairs.

"I am sorry was I am acting my age? Or was that too childish for you." Said Danny with annoyance.

"Danyal, can we just be civil?"asked Damian.

"I don't know. Can you accept that i won't answer every question you have?" Said Danny. Damian hesitates. " thought so." He adds. He walks in opposite direction of the dining hall.

"Danyal, where are you going?"asked Damian.

"For a walk. Don't follow me."said Danny. He walks to the front entrance and leaves the manor. Damian stood in the hallway as he looked in the direction that Danny left in.

"You not going follow after him?"asked Tim who was leaning against a doorframe nearby.

"No. He needs to calm down."said Damian. Damian goes to the dining hall. It was empty until he walks in. Tim follows behind him.

"B is working on a case right now."said Tim. Damian nods. Damian sits at the table. just Tim and Damian at this large table. It's just the two of them again, like always.

~Meanwhile outside

Danny barely down the block when someone placed a a bag over his head and jabbed a needle in his needle. Danny falls into the waiting arms and toss into a vehicle.

In unknown location

Danny woke up tried to a chair. There were two guys on the other side of the room. Danny assessed the situation. He was handcuffed behind the back of the chair and tied with a rope around his upper body.

"Look who's up."said the guy with a gun in his hand. His partner was holding a bat. They walked to him.

"You lucky that the phones is glitchy right now. So we need you conscious to plead for your life." Said the gun man. The guy with a bat called someone on the phone and put it on speaker. The phone went to voicemail.

"Call the Wayne building." Said the gunman. Danny sighs in disappointment when he realizes he was kidnapped for money. Sometimes he hates being a twin.

"I am on hold."said the other guy. The gun man point the gun to the unfazed teen head.

"When your father picks you, you will beg for him to send the money, got it?"asked the gun man. Danny wishes he could use his ghost powers right now but he reminds himself he needs to save energy for an emergency. Then other man bring the phone to the gun man once Bruce answers.

"We have your son. Give us millions in cash if you want see your son-"the gun man stopped talking and looked at the phone in disbelief.

"He hanged up. Are you sure this was Bruce Wayne?"asked guy with a bat. The other guy explained that they called the right person. They start arguing. Danny casually displace one of his thumbs so he slip out of the handcuffs. Danny tries not to hiss in slightly pain. It been years since he used that skill. He ignores the rope shedding his skin as he brings his arms forward. He unties the rope while the guys yell at each other. He quietly left the room. He ran out of the abandoned store. He ran down few blocks. He stopped and realized he doesn't know where he is. He reached for his phone but he remembered he didn't grab it off the charger this morning.

He looked down the nearby alley. He sighs as he realizes he needs to walk around to find a bus stop.  He started walking down the alley. He felt a cool sigh leaving his mouth. He paused and assessed his surroundings. There wasn't any ghost anywhere but Danny stayed vigilant as he walked.

"Brat, why are you here?"a voice asked from behind Danny. Danny turns around and saw an older guy staring at him. Then sudden he lunged as Danny. Danny dodge the attack and flip the guy over his shoulder. He stare straight into the green eyes looking at him.

"Calm down."danny commands as his eye glowed green. Suddenly the guy eyes turned blue. Danny let go of him. The guy stand up and goes into a fighting stance.

"What are you? Why do you look like my brother?"asked Jason.

"You must be Jason. I am danny,Damian twin."said Danny. Jason groaned in annoyance.

"Now two little psychos running around Gotham."said Jason.

"Can you help find the manor? I got lost after getting kidnapped."said Danny.

"After you tell me what just happened?"asked Jason. Danny hesitates. He doesn't complete understand what happened because Jason isn't a ghost but Danny ghost sense and king command works on him.

"It's power of mine." He said. Jason tries to ask more questions when danny saw the kidnappers searching the streets nearby.

"Well look at the time, I gotta go!" Said Danny. He was about to leave when Jason stopped him by blocking his path.

"I still have questions." Said Jason.

"And I don't have time for. " said Danny.

"There he is!"said one of the kidnappers. They started running towards the alley.

"Not these clowns again. I thought Damian taught them a lesson last time they kidnapped him." Said Jason before pushing Danny behind him. He got in fighting stance. Danny watched Jason easily knock out the two criminals. He uses his communicator to tell someone that there was two criminals knock out at the crime alley.

"Yes I am sure they committed a crime. They kidnapped Danny." Said Jason into his communicator. " he is fine. I am taking him back to the house." He adds.

Jason went to his motorcycle that was parked nearby. Danny hopped on the back. Jason starts zooming through the streets. Danny could feel the wind brushing back his hair. It reminds him of when he could fly thought the sky with high speed. They arrived at the manor in minutes.Jason entered from the secret pathway into the batcave. Jason park his bike next to Batmobile. They walks in the batcave. Tim was sitting at the bat computer.

"Replacement, where is everyone?"asked Jason.

"Damian is in room. Bruce is at working on a case."said Tim as continued to work on the computer. Danny left the batcave before Jason could ask more questions to him.

Danny went directly to Damian room. He knocked a familiar pattern on the door. Damian immediately opened the door.

"I forgot my phone."said Danny. Damian allowed him in the room. Danny grabbed his phone from off the nightstand.

"Are you safe in amity park?"asked Damian. Since Danny left, he been thinking about reasons why danny within information from him. Danny has no reason unless he is in danger.

"You know that I can't answer that."said Danny. Damian want confirmation and Danny isn't going do that. Danny isn't going give Damian a reason to stay here.

"Why don't you want to stay here? Father can easily convince your foster parents to share custody of you. You can travel often."said Damian.

"It's complicated. You just have trust me."said Danny. Damian looked hesitant. Danny sticks pinky out to his twin. "I promise you that I will explain everything once I am able to." Damian had even more questions based on that one statement.

"Damian, I been trying for years to reunite with you. Unfortunately our reunion came at bad time for me. So believe me when I say you will be first person to know every secret I have when the time is right." Said Danny. Damian linked his pinkie with Danny. Then they heard a knock at the door.

"Master Damian, master Danny your presence has be requested in the family room."said Alfred. Danny looked at Damian. Damian looked annoyed.

"Brown and Cain ended their vacation to meet you."said Damian.

In the family room

When the twins entered the room that was full with their siblings. Damian was annoyed at the sudden family gathering. The manor is a lot more quiet when they are not here.

"Oh wow! They really are twins!"said Stephanie as she look at the nearly identical twins. Cassandra walks around Danny to observe him for a moment.

"Hi. I am Danny."he said with a smile politely.

"I love you already!"said Stephenie with excitement. She pats to the seat next to her on the couch.

"Join us!"said Stephenie.  Danny next to her. Damian next to dick who was on the adjacent couch. Cassandra join the guys on the couch.

"What's your favorite color? Where do you live? Whats you have a favorite food? Do you have a pet? What's-"dick interrupts her.

"Steph, one question at a time."said dick. Danny had no problem understanding the fast speed she was speaking in.

"Black. A city. Pizza. Yes, a dog."said Danny.

"You have a dog?"asked Damian.

"You will meet him one day. His name is cujo."said Danny. He smiles as he remembers his ghost dog that he hasn't seen in while.

"Another animal lover, I see. Are you also a vegetarian?"asked Stephanie. Danny shook his head.

"No."said Danny.

"What's your hobbies?"asked Stephanie. Danny thought about it for a moment. Most of his time is spent ghost fighting and small free time he has is spent hanging out with his friends.

"Video games."he said. Tucker and him tries to play video games when they can. Danny is good at most of them.

"Oh! I always wanted to know is the twin telepathy real thing?"asked Stephanie.

"No."said the twins unison. Damian was offended that his sister thought was a real thing. Danny chuckled that they spoke in unison. He remembers Talia getting so annoyed when they naturally do that.

"Did you two ever do a twin switch?"asked Stephanie in curiosity. Danny smile immediately disappears for his face. He looks at Damian. Damian appears stoic but his eyes held sadness with a hint of rage. He calms walks out of the room.

< mad > signs Cassandra. Stephenie was confused. She looks at Danny who was still looking at the direction that Damian left in.

"Don't mind him. He just having his usual temper tantrum."said Stephanie.

"I thought he grew out of that. I will check on him."said dick. He was about to stand up before Danny was faster. He left the room. He look around the manor for Damian. He found him in the loft in the barn. Damian was sitting behind a stack of hay. He was petting his dog, Titus who was laying on his lap. Danny silently join him on the floor.

"It's not your fault."said Danny softly.

"Why did you want to swap places?"asked Damian. The question that been on his mind for years but was unanswered.

"I don't know. I just have a feeling something was off. Especially since we were assigned missions that didn't fit our best skill set."said Danny. Damian was about speaking when they heard the barn door open. They went to the railing to look at the door. It was Alfred.

"Master Damian,  you are needed in the batcave."said Alfred.  Damian smirks when he realizes Bruce is allowing him do his vigilante duties. Bruce placed him on the bench until he recovers from his illness. Damian smirks fades when he remembers the conversation had to wait for later.

"I must go. You can stay in the batcave if you want."said Damian. He quickly left. Danny stayed in the barn for few moments to pet Titus.  Then He stood up and dusted his off his pants. He was walking towards the exit when his phone rang. It was Sam. He accepted the call.

Danny: hello?
Sam: do you know what's vlad ghost obsession is?
Danny: yeah. It's my foster mother.

Danny figure out vlad ghost obsession early on. It was very obvious. Ghost obsessions are supposed to be secret because it's a part of their core. If a ghost is unable to do their obsession then they will go crazy. Thats one of the reason why Danny can't just command the ghosts stop leaving out of the ghost portal.

Sam: are you sure? It's not you.
Danny: he was only using me to get to Maddie .

Vlad tried for years to convince Danny's foster mother to divorce her husband. The quickest way to a mother's heart is through her children.

Sam: Danny, didn't frostbite say that it's possible to have multiple obsessions because you are a halfa.
Danny: yeah. But vlad obsession is Maddie and power.
Sam: Danny, vlad just asked your parents where you at-
Danny: Sam, that's not surprising. He probably was just using me as excuse to visit Maddie. He is my godfather.
Sam: let me finish. Then he went to check Tucker house and was angry that you left the city. Like he was destroying Tucker room before flying away.
Danny: did you guys tell me where I was at?
Sam: of course not but he does have access to a ghost portal where your favorite ghost hunter is.
Danny: I will call you back. I need to talk to Elle.

He hang up and immediately called his pseudo cousin. The phone went to voicemail. Danny looked at his phone in confusion. Dani should be allowed to answer the phone within seconds. She would gladly answer the phone as excuse to get out of  her royal duty. Danny tried again.

~meanwhile on the other side of Gotham

Damian was tied up in chains with his brothers, dick and Tim. They watched their father tries to get out of the chains that was hanging him from the ceiling. Damian is angry that dick fell from this stupid trap.

Dick thought someone needed recusing from a nearby building. He went to go help then went radio silence. So Damian and Tim went to go check on their older brother. They enter the building and were immediately shot with a tranquilizer. They woke up in big room chains up on the floor with Batman chained up from the ceiling.

The stupid criminal was drawing a symbol on the ground with powder. He was chanting something as he did. Damian was trying pick the lock when suddenly the symbol turn green before cloud of smoke appears from the ground. When the smoke cleared, there was girl with white hair. She was wearing a crown and torn cape. Damian stares at the girl as she look familiar.

"Ghost queen!"said the criminal. The queen looked annoyed.

"What do you want? I am busy." She said.

"Your highness! I command you eliminate the bats! In return you can have my soul."said the criminal. The queen was about speak when a phone rang. Suddenly she reached into her chest and pull out a phone to answer it.

"What's up?....uh,can I call you later?......I am doing your stupid job!....."said the queen while on the phone.

"I am your master now! I am command you-" the criminal didn't finish his sentence because blasted a ball of green light at him. He flew all the way to the back of the room and slammed into the wall.

"Sorry, this idiot is rude.....some idiot got his hand on your symbol.....I know! I will destroy everything."said the queen in annoyance before ending the call. She kneel down to touch the powder. She placed her hand on the symbol. Her eyes glowed bright green and the symbol disappeared. Then she flew up to release Batman. Batman landed on his floor before walking to his sons. The queen easing broke the chain with one hand.

"Thank you, your highness." Said dick. The queen looked annoyed.

"You look too young to be a queen."said Tim. Dick glared at Tim from behind his mask. The ghost queen look mad already.

"I didn't ask for your opinion."she said before suddenly a green portal appeared nearby. The queen immediately flew into it.

"What just happened?"asked dick

"I don't know. But I am going find out."said Bruce.

At the manor

Danny watches Alfred open the car door for Damian. Damian was dressed in his school uniform.

"You could skip school few days."Danny suggests. He needs to spend more time with Damian in order to strengthen their bond.

"The education at the academy is no use to me but I have stay relevant in social circles."said Damian. Danny nods.

"I go a public school. The learning curriculum is trash. Be happy you go to a private school with decent education."said Danny.

"Which high school is that?"asked a voice. Danny turned around. It was tim with a coffee mug in hand.

"Don't you have a job to be at?"asked Danny with fake confusion. Tim gives Danny a bad vibe.

"Bruce didn't want leave you all alone in house without company. So I volunteered since I have the most flexible schedule." Said tim with a polite smile. Stephanie and Cassandra left last night after patrol was over. Dick left after breakfast.

"Alfred is coming back after dropping Damian off at school. So I will fine, you don't have inconvenience yourself for me."said Danny. Danny needs to go talk to lady gotham and warn her.

"It's fine. I need to get know you more anyways."said tim. Danny forced a polite smile on his face. Damian wanted to ask questions but he knew he wasn't getting answers soon.

"I will be back this afternoon."said Damian before enters the car. Danny and tim leaves the garage. Danny fakes yawns.

"Well, I am going back to bed. "Said Danny. He was about to walk away from Tim stood in front of him.

"Where's the rush?I heard you like video games."said Tim. Danny raised an eyebrow.

"Who told you that?"asked Danny.

"Dickie bird. He is real chatty."said Tim. Danny agrees. He only knew dick for few days but dick likes to talk a lot.

They went to the game room. Tim picked a fighting game to play. They settled in the gaming chairs in front of the tv. They picked their fighters and began their battle. The first round was dominated by Danny. His fingers pressed the buttons on the controller with a sense of familiarity.

"Do you miss your foster family?"asked Tim casually as he continued to block Danny's attacks on screen. Danny hesitates to answers. He knows Tim is going to analyze his answer regardless. He had to think carefully.

"Do you miss your biological parents?"asked Danny. Tim paused for a moment. Danny used that second to land a final blow to win the round.

"Of course."Tim replies as the video game begins the second round. "But you have a chance to hang out with your father."he adds.

"I don't need a father figure. I only need my brother."said Danny truthfully. His main goal for past years was to reunite with his twin. He never even thought about his father not even once.

"So your foster father isn't a good figure in your life?"asked Tim.

"Is Bruce a good father figure? I been here few days now. He has all these children but barely interact with them."said Danny as blocks Tim attacks on screen.

"B is decent. He sucks at being emotional available but we have Alfred to compensates for that. We have family dinner once a month and trust me that all the family interaction we need."said Tim. Danny raised an eyebrow at that. The Wayne sounds more dysfunctional than the Fentons.

"What about your foster family?"tim questions as he does attack combos while Danny dodges.

"It's a family."said Danny.

"Better or worse than us?"asked Tim. Danny wants to say worse because his life is hiding his secret from his foster parents and being neglected by them due to their obsession for ghosts hunting. The main reason why he was easy to hide his identity so well was because they are idiots. Danny don't know how jazz even survived past her toddler years in that home.

But the fentons are better than living with the Al Ghuls'. Al Ghul are a training ground build on blood sweat and tears of their soldiers. The Fentons are idiots but caring. They wasn't the best at parenting but they were actively trying. Danny won't mind staying with them if he wasn't a ghost.

"Don't know yet."said Danny. He doesn't know if the Wayne family is better than the Fentons. But he going to at least try to understand this dysfunctional family so he doesn't have to lose his brother again.

The game announced Tim as the winner of the second round. The third round begins, Tim and Danny focus on the screen. They used combo attacks in each others with ease.

"You played these game before."Tim states.

"Yeah. Me and friends play this all the time."said Danny as he blocks Tim attack.

"What else you and friends do for fun?"asked Tim.

"Mostly video games and hanging out at nasty burger."said Danny as he dodges Tim attack.

"That's a weird name."said Tim. Danny agrees. He explained the funny story of how it has its name. It was originally called tasty burger until someone spray painted a N over the T. It was joke for few years until the restaurant official change its name.

Danny smiled at the memory as the game announced Tim as the winner. He stood up and gave the controller to Tim.

"Good game. I am going for a walk."said Danny. Tim nods as he placed the controllers back on the display shelf.

"Don't go down the main road. People always trying kidnap us for ransom. Go back by the garden there a path that leads to a different road."said Tim.

"I wish I knew that before I got kidnapped the other day."said Danny. Tim turned around to face Danny.

"Sorry about that."said Tim.

"the idiot thought I was Damian. Bruce didn't even try to get me back."said Danny as he hides his bitterness.

"It's standard protocol. B isn't supposed to help us with low life criminals as a civilian because he has an image to uphold. Usually Damian and me as able to fight them off before they able to take us to a second location."said Tim.

"They kidnapped you guys often?"asked Danny. Tim nods. Danny shook his head in disappointed.

"Also, let me give my number. So you call me if you need me."said Tim. He placed his hand out.

"New try. I am not giving you my number to trace it back to my hometown."said Danny.

"Well, you are my responsibility until Alfred comes back. So I guess we are taking a walk."said Tim. Danny wanted to go into the city to talk to lady Gotham but he can't do that with Tim on his tail.

"The walk can wait. It's hot outside anyways. I guess I can catch up on my sleep."said Danny.

"I noticed you never even look at your new room."said Tim.

"I like Damian room better."said Danny. He isn't staying long. He doesn't need a room here.

"You never been in your new room."Tim points out.

"Because it's just a plain room. Damian room seems more familiar."said Danny as an excuse. Tim didn't look convinced but Danny starts walking away.

Danny stayed in Damian room until Alfred came back. But soon as Danny attempted to leave, Tim appeared asking questions about where he is going. Danny dodge it was a simple answer of a stroll. But Tim kept trying to invite himself on the walk. Danny gives up on trying to leave for the day. He just hopes whatever plan vlad has won't be happening right now.

At the manor

Danny was reading a comic book while Damian was doing his homework in the library. Danny's phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket. It was jazz calling. Danny quickly answered it as he began walking to the exit.

D:hello?
Jazz: hey Danny! Sorry to bother you while you are at planetarium. But mom and dad wanted to say hi.

Danny could easily pick up the tone in her voice that signal that he needs to play along. He took a mental note to text her later about what happened before phone call. He heard shuffling in the background.

Jack: dannio! I didn't know you like stars!
Maddie: sweetie, when are you coming home?

Danny exit the library before speaking.

D: after planetarium, Sam wanted to go plant some veggies in her yard.
Maddie: okay, I will see you at dinner
D: okay.
Maddie: love you!
D: you too.

Danny rolled his eyes. Did he love his foster parents? Not really. Could he pretend to satisfy their parental needs? Most definitely. It's not like they could tell the difference. They are idiots.

Jazz: sorry Danny. They been home more often since ghosts stop appearing lately
Danny: the red huntress is still patrolling right?
Jazz: yeah.
D: good. Also have you seen fruitloop?
J: actually no. I haven't seen him since he ask our parents where you were at the other day.
D:keep an eye on him. Thanks jazz
J: no problem. But I wanna see your twin!
D: soon. Now I am gotta go.
J: see ya.

He hangs up. He went back into the library. He sat back at the table when Damian spoke.

"What was the call about?"asked Damian as he continued to work on his assignment.

"Jazz was checking on me."said Danny which wasn't a lie. Damian stopped writing to look up at his twin.

"Aki, you and me both know I need more information."said Damian.

"She was giving me updates about the ghost activity."said Danny.

"How relevant that for you in Gotham?"asked Damian. Danny subtly gestured to the camera in the ceiling nearby. Damian gripped his pen in his hand in frustration. He trying to be patient but it's hard.

"Damian, I-"Danny was interrupted by dick happily walking over to them with a greeting. Damian immediately toss his pen at dick. Dick ducked. The pen embedded itself into a book on the shelf.

"You don't live here! Why are you here, Grayson?"asked Damian. He is getting tired of his siblings interrupting his conversation with Danny. When Damian finally thinks he going to get answers out of his twin, somebody interrupts them.

"Chill brat. I am here for Danny."said dick.

"You are?"asked the twins. Dick flinched at the suddenly synchronization.

"Yeah. Tim told me you don't like your room because it's not personalized yet. So I am here to take you shopping."said dick.

"Father hasn't placed a statement yet about Danyal to the public yet."Damian states as he implies that Danny shouldn't be in public view yet.

"B is just getting with paperwork in order. That can take weeks. Besides, it's just a quick trip."said dick.

"Actually, I rather stay here with Damian."said Danny. He needs to stay out of the media. He doesn't need his foster parents or even vlad finding out that he is in Gotham.

"Damian can come with us."suggests dick. Damian shook his head. "I will take you to the pet store afterwards." He adds. Damian closed his book and gather his assignments.

"Titus needs a new toy anyways."said Damian. Danny shook his head in laughter at how easy his twin is. They left the library and went to dick car. Damian immediately claim the passenger seat.

"You too short to be in the front."Danny points out. Danny was only taller than his twin by an inch or two.

"My height is within the requirements of the passenger seat."said Damian.

"Nuh."said Danny with a smirk. Damian turned around to glare at him.

"Yuh."said Damian.
"Nuh!"said Danny.

They went back and forth. For once, dick wishes that Damian didn't act his actual age. He didn't realize how annoying teens can be.

"Quiet!"said dick. The twins stop arguing. Dick rode them to a furniture and decoration store. They strolled down the aisles. Danny was silently grateful that they went to a store where barely any customers were there.

"This look cool."said dick. He points out a neon sign with the words chill on it. Danny shook his head.

"This is more suitable."said Damian. He has a box of glow in the dark stars.

"Damian, that's for toddlers, he doesn't want that."said dick. Danny turn to look at his twin to saw what he was holding. Danny smiled brightly.

" I love it."said Danny. He placed it in the cart. Damian smirks at his older brother.

"You like stars?"asked dick. Danny nods.

"He loves astronomy."Damian adds. Danny smiles. Normally when he tells people that he likes astronomy, they would be confused. So he always simplifies it to just liking stars. But Damian knows his twin loves more than just stars. Danny loves space and everything in it.

"Wait, if you not the heir of the league no more. Does that mean I am not getting my planetarium." Said Danny with slight frown.

"B would build you one if you even mentioned it."said dick. " he build the animal sanctuary for Damian. He built me a practice gymnasium." He adds.

"You used to be in circus, right?"asked Danny. Dick nodded.

"It was the best." Dick states. He started talking about how amazing his family was at. Damian looked annoyed as he heard the same story again. Suddenly Danny felt a cool sigh left his mouth. Then someone bust through the roof. It was skulker.

"Where are you ghost child?!"said skulker. Danny cussed under his breath.

At the store

Danny hid behind a sofa on display. Damian and dick follow suit.

"What is that thing?"asked dick as he peek around the top of the sofa.

"It's not a thing. It's a ghost."said Danny.

"How do we defeat a ghost?"asked Damian to Danny. Danny shook his head.

"We don't. We need to leave."said Danny.

"I am not running from a fight."said Damian. He pulled out a knife from his pocket.

"Only objects with ectoplasm can harm a ghost. Your knife wouldn't do anything."said Danny.

"Welp! I can sense that you are here. Come out! So I can turn you into a pelt for my wall!"yelled skulker as he destroy the furniture into the store.

"We need to leave now!"said Danny.

"No way!"growled Damian. He isn't going to dismiss that the evil ghost wants to harm his twin. He ran from behind the sofa and charged the hunter ghost.  Skulker turned intangible and Damian went through him and land behind the ghost.

"You are not the ghost child but you look like him.” said skulker. He grabbed Damian by the neck. "How dare you insult my intelligence with this clone, ghost child!"yelled skulker. Damian tries to stab the ghost but the knife had no effect.

"Let him go!"said dick. He toss a nightstand at skulker. Skulker dodge it easily then ectoblasted dick. Dick flew back through multiple displays and land on the floor unconscious. Danny transformed and flew to throw a punch directly at skulker face. Skulker dropped Damian as he flew back a few feet.

"Don't injury civilians."said Danny sternly before checking in his twin. Skulker stood up from the pile of damage furniture. Danny stood in front of Damian with hands glowing green.

"The agreement was for your haunt. This isn't your haunt."skulker states. He charges at Danny with punch that Danny blocks with ease. They go blow for blow. They knock each other into more furniture until Danny rip the hunter head off. Skukler body went still without the ghost to control it. Damian watched in confusion.

"You supposed to stay in amity park. You are directly disobeying my instructions."said Danny.

"The red huntress doesn't put up a good fight and besides I am on a mission."said skulker. Danny shook the big head of skulker.

"Who sent you?"asked Danny.

"Plasmius."said skulker.

"Go back to the ghost zone. If I see you here again , I will place in soup jail."said Danny. Skulker begrudgingly agreed. Danny attach him back to his body. Skulker flew away.

"You let him go!?!"said Damian.

"He just looking for a fight."said Danny with a shrug. Damian look confused. Danny explains ghosts obsessions are important to ghosts because they relate to their core.

"Skulker obsession is collecting rare items. I am halfa which is rare in the ghost world."said Danny.

"What's is your obsession?"asked Damian.

"Obsessions are secrets because if the ghost can't do it then their soul will disappear forever."said Danny. Damian scowl.

"Great. Another secret I can't know."said Damian.

"I would tell you but there's a ghost in the city. I rather not risk another ghost knowing and taking advantage of my weakness."Danny explains.

"Let's go find our brother."said Damian as he ignores the itch to ask more questions. Danny nods. They found dick in a pile of rubble. They pulled him out. Dick has a bruise on his head.

"We should call Alfred to come pick us up."said Damian.

"Or we can drive."said Danny as he grabbed the car keys from the older man pocket.

"I drive."said Damian. Danny pouts.

"It was my idea."said Danny.

"You don't know where you are going. But look on the bright side, you can ride shot gun."said Damian. Danny agrees. They carried dick to the car. Damian drove them to the manor. Alfred greeted them at the door when they entered the bat cave.

"What happened?"asked Alfred.

"A ghost attack."said Damian.

"Ghost? Like the one we seen other day."said Tim who was at the computer but now approaching them. Danny looked at Damian with slight glare. Damian didn't tell Danny about encountering a ghost recently.

"No. This was different."said Damian as they carried dick to the infirmary. Alfred did a medical assessment on dick while Damian explains what happened. He omits the parts where Danny fought the ghost.

"Then the ghost flee the scene someone began calling the cops."said Damian.

"I found some ghost research online by these scientists. Apparently when one ghost appears, there will be more attacks."said Tim.

"Which scientists?"asked Danny. He silently wishes that it's not who he thinks it is.

"The Fentons. They been conducting research in this ghost filled city called amity park."said Tim. Danny nods. "Are you familiar with thier research?" Tim adds.

"No."said Danny.

"Really? I would assume everyone who lives in amity park would be very familiar with it since the researchers protect the city."said Tim. Damian looks his twin for confirmation.

"Just because I live there, doesn't mean I support everything that happens in that city."said Danny. Danny could see the wheel turning in his twin head as the small bits of information are connecting into place. Danny changes the subject. " how did you figure out where I live?" He asked.

"The nasty burger story. Nasty burger is locally owned business surprisingly."Said Tim.

"Nasty burger?"asked Damian with slightly disgust.

"You guys have a place called bat burger. You can't judge."said Danny. Then suddenly dick woke up in pain. Alfred gave him an ice pack.

"What happened?"asked dick.

"What do you remember last?"asked Tim. Dick explains that a ghost was looking for a ghost child, Damian tried to fight it, and dick got knocked out in the progress.

"Danny, you sounds like you know a lot of about ghost."said Tim based on the details dick gave.

"You learn would a lot from trying survive in a ghost filled city."said Danny as an excuse.

"That's great! You can help us deal with ghosts then."dick suggest.

"Actually I think we should get our information from actual researchers. It will make a great trip. We can visit Danny family then go meet with the researchers."suggests Tim.

"Family trip?! I will tell B!"said dick excitedly. He left the room to find his phone. Alfred followed behind him to scold him for leaving without a proper check up.

"When we are leaving?"asked Danny.

"Probably tomorrow based on dick's excitement. So get packing."said Tim before leaving.

"Now can I know?or should I wait until drake discovers everything before me."said Damian with bitterness in is tone.

"I will tell you while you pack."said Danny as he hides the nervousness in his tone. He is little nervous about his twin will think of him after this. Will still see him as an ally or foe?

At the manor

The twins went to Damian room. Damian found his suitcase. Danny sat on the bed next to the suitcase.

"Where should I start?"asked Danny.

"From the beginning."said Damian as he starts folding a T shirt.

"I was born-" Danny was interrupted by a tshirt getting tossed at his head. Danny chuckled before getting serious. "I guess it all started when I died." He began. He explains what happened after being tossed into a city new by a portal.

" I was found my current foster sister, jazz. They took me to their home. They raised like their own."said Danny. Then Damian asked the question Danny has been avoiding since entering Damian life again.

"Do they know you are ghost?"asked Damian. Danny shook his head.

"Because they are ghost hunters. That research Tim found was theirs. Their research isn't ethical either because the government doesn't recognize ghost as sentient. So if they realize that I am ghost. They are going dissect me like a pig." Said Danny.

"Why did you stay there?"said Damian as he glared at his twin. Damian couldn't believe his twin was idiotic for staying somewhere dangerous.

"Because jazz was the first person taught me how live life. She is the reason why I understand I don't have to live in fight/flight mode my whole life. Jazz is my reason and because of her I gain more reasons to stay in amity park."said Danny. Damian understood the tough transition from living with league to living with another family.

"Grayson was my 'jazz'. He was annoyingly persistent but he helped me adjust to not only to my new life but society." Said Damian.

"I heard a saying that broken crayon still color."said Danny. Damian agrees. They had an odd start in life but they made it though. "Jazz taught me that. She wants to a psychologist in few years." He adds.

"Does she know about it?"asked Damian. Danny nods.

"Yeah. She found out on her own as I became the city vigilante, phantom. She noticed that I would missing a lot during the day."said Danny.

"Vigilante? Nice to know it still runs in the family." Said Damian. They laugh.

"Jazz and my two friends Sam and Tucker help me fight ghosts."said Danny. Damian folds his pants.

"Fight ghosts to what exactly. Fight them then let them go?"asked Damian. He is still bitter that Danny just let that villian go free.

"Yes. Because of ghost obsessions. If I capture them and never let them go, they will suffer."said Danny.

"You learn all this from the Fenton research?"asked Damian. Danny shook his head.

"All they research are based on surface level. Once I became a ghost, I gain most of my knowledge from ghost zone."said Danny. He explained how the ghost zone is a center of the infinite worlds. Damian wanted to know more but Danny didn't know much due to time and resources.

"There are lot more ghosts living in the ghost zone who are able to get their obsession within the zone."said Danny. Danny was telling his twin about some of ghosts that are low danger like box ghost and Johnny. Then there was a knock on the door.

"Go away."said Damian with annoyance. Damian finally gets some answers and now someone is interrupting.

"Damian, I want to talk to you and Danny."said Bruce. Damian went to open the door. Bruce enters the room and closes the door.

"There a few things I need to discuss. Do your foster parents know that we coming to visit and potentially discussing custody of you." Said Bruce to Danny.

"I was going to inform them later today."said Danny.

"Tim informed me that you know how to navigate the ghost filled city well. Do you have any tips that could help relevant?"asked Bruce. Danny hesitates. Any information he could give would show how dangerous ghost can be. He doesn't want to his father getting a bad impression of ghosts.

"Avoidance is all I got."said Danny. Damian gave Danny a sharp look. " never say word wish while in the city. There a ghost will grant the wish regardless of you mean or not." He adds.

"So some ghost are word activated."Bruce states. Danny nods. Bruce was about ask another question when Alfred walks in.

"Master Bruce, there are phone call for you." Said Alfred. Bruce followed behind the butler. Damian closed his door.

"Why didn't you tell him you have a way to fight against ghosts?"damian demands.

"Because I do have secret identity to protect. You guys are visiting for a day or two but I will be on a dissection table when the Fentons even thinks there a possible that I am possess by a ghost."said Danny.

"You don't have stay in amity park."said Damian. Danny folds his arms.

"Why I am the one who life has to be flipped upside? Why I am one who has to adjust? Why can't you leave Gotham and live with me?"said Danny. Damian wants his twin is stay but Danny doesn't think he realizes that he asking Danny to do.

Damian open his mouth to respond and immediately close it. He understands what's Danny trying to say. Damian wouldn't want to leave behind his brothers and colleagues he made.

"Blending family is the best plan."Damian admits. Danny smiles when his twin finally understands.

"We are still brothers no matter the distance."said Danny. Damian nods. Danny hugs his twin. Unbeknownst to the twins, lady Gotham was smiling from her view through the window.

On a private jet

Danny sat next his twin. Damian was reading the Fenton research. Danny told him that their research is only surface only but Damian still wants to read it. Danny thinks it because he wants to know everything.

Actually, Danny is only one on the plane not reading the research articles by the Fentons. Danny was playing a video game on his phone to distract himself from the train wreck that going to happen. The Waynes are a family of detectives so they will easily connect the scientists to Danny. He just hopes that will satisfy their thirst for knowledge and won't dig deeper.

"Danny, have you seen phantom before? All these articles have blurry images of the hero."said dick. Damian look up from his iPad to look at his twin.

"I haven't seen him but according to my classmates he only comes after ghost hunter fail to catch the ghost."said Danny. He was lying but they didn't know that. Danny tried to arrive before any ghost hunters appear to solve the problem.

"I did few articles mentioning the hero. Some say he is good while others thinks he hinders the ghost hunters."said Tim. He passed dick the iPad to show the articles he was looking at.

"Sounds like a vigilante."said Damian.

"If we are entering another hero territory, we should meet them and inform them that we mean no harm."said Bruce.

"People only see phantom when there is a ghost sighting. So we probably won't meet them."said Danny in hopes to kill the idea. He isn't ready to even tell them about his death status. So he definitely not ready to tell them about his hero identity.

"Ghost attacks happen pretty frequently according to these articles. Maybe we will see phantom during our visit."said Tim as he look at a current news article.

As they got closer to amity park, the stronger that Danny felt as he absorbed the ectoplasm in the atmosphere. He didn't realize how weak he was due to low ecto levels. Once the plane landed, they went to check into a hotel. They barely settled in when Tim spoke.

"Let's go meet the scientists."said Tim. This is massive lead for Tim for his ghost case. He wants solve this ghost problem in Gotham quickly before another existential threat attack the city. Bruce was thinking the same but he has other priorities right now.

"I think we should meet Danny's foster parents first."said Bruce. Danny gulped nervously. He told his foster parents that he will bringing guests home.  He doesn't know how his foster parents will reaction to the news that he discovered his biological father.

"Yeah. I agree." Said dick.

"Fine. Let's go."said Tim. Danny stood in Tim way.

"Actually, i would feel more comfortable with just Damian and father there."said Danny. He wasn't uncomfortable. He was trying to be strategic. It's easier to deflect questions from one person instead of three. Danny doesn't put it past Tim to sneak away and snoop away the house and lab.

"We are also family."said Tim. Dick placed a hand on Tim shoulder. He gave a squeeze as a warning.

"We understand. We will explore the city until you are done."said dick. Danny smile. He understands how dick is Damian favorite. Dick is easy to emotionally manipulate.

Dick and Tim stay at the hotel while others took a cab to Danny's home. The house struck out like a sore thumb among the regular modern homes. They barely made it out of the car when jazz ran to greet them. She hugged Danny like he was going to disappear again.

"You must be Danyal’s foster sister, jasmine."said Damian.

"It's just jazz."she said. Damian disregarded her correction. Bruce shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you. Are your parents home?"asked Bruce. Jazz nods. She takes them inside. Damian wasn't impressed by the barely kept home.

"Mom, dad! Danny home with guests."said jazz as she guides them to the living room. Bruce and Damian sat on the couch. Danny sits on the arm of couch next to Damian. Danny foster parents, Maddie and Jack enter in the room while jazz leaves.

Bruce immediately realizes their faces from his research. He gave a sharp look to Danny. Danny smile apologetically. Damian felt bad for his twin because he knew Danny will be scold afterwards.

"Danny, why are there two of you?"asked Maddie.

"This is Damian, my long lost twin. That's my father, Bruce Wayne."said Danny. Maddie turned pale while Jack looked disappointed.

"I am assuming this your first time hearing this information."said Bruce. He looked at Danny.

"Yes. This is all very new. Any sure Danny is yours?"asked Maddie. She wanted to adopt Danny as her son officially one day.

"Very."Damian growls.he didn't understand why this woman was questioning what her eyes saw. Danny and Damian are identical twins.

"What my son means to say is that we was able do a paternal test in Gotham. Danny is my son."said Bruce.

"I went to Gotham last weekend to reunite with my twin."said Danny.

"That amazing Danny! But I Can't believe you lie to us. We could had help you."said Maddie as she lightly scolded him. Danny looked unfazed.

"They are now reunited. But now comes the discussion of separating them again."said Bruce. Damian didn't like that statement but he understood he can't suddenly uproot his twin current life.

"Oh. Um can we have time to think about it?"asked Maddie. She look at Jack who agrees with her.

"Yes. Decisions doesn't have be made today. How about you tell us about you met Danny?"asked Bruce.

"Oh! Jazz brought him home on June 15."said Maddie.

"No. It was July 15."said Jack. Danny looked at them flatly. " jazzy! When is Danny birthday again?" Asked Jack. Jazz comes from the kitchen where she was eavesdropping.

"February 12th."said jazz. Damian raised an eyebrow at his twin.

"It's was the day we decided to celebrate my birthday because I never told them my birthday."Danny explained.

"Oh yeah. Danny was very quiet when he first came home. He barely talked and didn't eat. But the doctor says it was because he misses his parents."said Maddie. Damian and Danny shared a knowing look. They had been trained to gather intel quietly and efficiently.Danny was just sticking to his training.

"Danny didn't eat because you placed your ecto testing tubes in the refrigerator. I had to order pizza for a month."said jazz in slight annoyance. She remembers trying to make a good first impression for Danny but her parents ruined it.

"Oh yeah. That's when we made the ammo for the Fenton bazooka."said Maddie.

"Jazz, you remember the time you took me to aquarium."said Danny. He wants focus the subject from away his foster parents bad parenting.

"Yeah. You didn't want to go but after seeing dolphins. You changed your tune."said jazz. Damian looked at his twin in slight shock. He was shocked that Danny was longing for him that he found peace just looking at Damian's favorite animal. Damian didn't think about how separating from his own twin would affected Danny. He felt worse the more he thought about how he struggled with mourning Danny but Danny was mourning him.

"You are ghost hunters. How do you protect Danny from ghosts?"asked Bruce. They proudly start explaining the some of gadgets they made to catch ghosts.

"The house even has a state of the arts ghost shield that can be activated at any moment. No ghost will be able enter or exit."said Jack. Damian remain stoic on the outside but on the inside he was mortified by how many gadgets they had in the house that could hurt his twin.

"You keep the weapons around the house?"asked Bruce as he noticed multiple poorly hidden ghost weapons around the room.

"Yes! We must be ready when ghost attack!"said  Maddie. Danny tries not sigh as he realizes his foster parents are not selling their home as a safe environment right now. Technically, his father can demand emergency custody of him if the home is unsafe. Foster care is focus on reuniting families. The courts would gladly rule in Bruce favor.

"Speaking of ghost attacks. I would like learn about how to protect others from them."said Bruce.

"Oh! Follow us to the lab. We have many inventions that can help."said Maddie. Danny stood up.

"Actually, my father is on tight schedule. Maybe they can visit another time?"asked Danny.

"Sure."said Maddie with slight disappointment.

"Danny, how about you walk us to the door?"bruce suggest. Damian could easily see the slight anger in Bruce face. Danny agrees. He walked them out of the house. Bruce immediately look at Danny angrily.

"Why didn't you inform me about being related to the Fentons?"asked Bruce.

"Why does it matter? What my foster parents do for a career doesn't relate to me." Said Danny.

"Father, Danyal is correct."said Damian as support his twin lie. In a normal case of being foster kid, parents careers doesn't matter. But in Danny cases, the Fenton being ghost hunter is big deal. However, Damian understands Danny is emotionally attached to this ghost filled place.

"Damian, you must remain out of this conversation."said Bruce sternly.

"Danyal problem is my problem. His scolding is my scolding."said Damian as he stood his ground. Danny appreciate his brother effort but he can handle a scolding by himself.

"Danny, we have a lot to discuss."said Bruce.

"And we discussing it. After I show Damian my favorite hang out spots!"said Danny. He grabbed Damian hand and ran down the street. Bruce allowed them to leave as he needs to do a deeper dive into Danyal Al Ghul.

At amity park

The twins ran down the streets until they far away from Danny's home. Damian immediately punch his brother arm.

"Idiot. He is going ground us when he finds us."said Damian. Danny shrugs.

"He can't ground me because I am technically not in his care."said Danny. Damian gave him a flat look.

"Well, it seems like father is giving us a head start. So we have little time. What did you want to show me?"asked Damian.

"Nothing. That was an excuse to leave."said Danny with a chuckle. Damian tried to punch his arm again but this time Danny went intangible. Damian fist went through Danny arm.

"What is that power?"asked Damian as he snatch his fist back.

"Intangibility.its one of the many base ghost power I have."he said. Damian remembers Danny explaining that all ghost have base powers sets but Danny never actually show him it.

"You barely used your powers when you were Gotham but when you are city where you are literally getting hunted. You used your powers nonchalantly."said Damian with slightly anger. He thinks his brother isn't taking his safety seriously. Danny smiled apologetically.

"Because the ecto levels in Gotham is too low for me. That's one of main reason couldn't stay in Gotham. I need to relinquish my ecto levels every few weeks or it will be a slow death."said Danny. Damian felt guilty for begging for Danny to stay in Gotham when it was physically hurting him. His guilty turn into anger at a new realization.

"If we didn't come to amity park, when would you had told me about your health?"asked Damian. Danny slightly flinched at the scolding tone. Damian narrowed his eyes at his brother who remain silent. " when?" He demands.

"Aki,it doesn't matter now."said Danny.

"Danyal."growled Damian.

"Aki, I can show the infamous nasty burger."said Danny in hopes to change the subject. He was about to walk away from the conversation. When Damian clicked his tongue angrily.

"Never. I never plan on telling you. I never planning on staying Gotham after the blood transfusion."he said truthfully. Danny heart broke at he saw damian stoic face. Damian eyes always told a different story. Danny could see the sadness deep within them.

"Why?"asked Damian as he tries to hide his emotions out of his tone. Danny didn't like the emotionless expression on his brother face. It reminds him too much of the same expression he wore during their time in the league.

"I have responsibilities that I couldn't ignore without consequence."said Danny.

"Danyal, stop being so vague."Damian demands. Danny grabbed Damian hand and took him behind nearby building. Danny look around for any pedestrians before speaking.

"You can't tell anybody what I am about to tell you."said Danny. Damian agrees. "I am the ghost king." He admits. Damian shook his head.

"There already a ghost queen."said Damian. He tells about the time that a crazy villain summoned the ghost queen.

"That's my cousin but according to the ghost world, she is royalty. So, I want able to give her my title temporarily."he explains.

"I thought you said that you had to be die to live in the ghost zone."Damian states.

"Long story for a different time. I have many responsibilities as king. The main thing I do is keep the peace between our world and theirs."said Danny. Damian raised an eyebrow.

"You said that you didn't plan on staying. What made you change your mind?"asked Damian.

"A ghost made a deal with me. If I healed you, she allowed me use her portal as entrance and exit out of Gotham."said Danny. Damian looked confused. Danny explained farther what a portal is and its function. " it's the quickest way to travel." He concludes.

"Making portals isn't a power you have?"asked Damian. He knew his twin was powerful especially now that he knows Danny is the ghost king.

"I have the power but not the skills."said Danny bitterly. He still hasn't learn how to made his own portals.

"Now what's the nasty burger you speaking about?"asked Damian. Danny smile.

"You going to love-" Danny stopped talking when a cool breath left his mouth.  He looked around the corner. Vlad was walking down the street. Danny grabbed Damian hand and ran away. Danny ran all the way to Tucker house.

"Why did we run?"asked Damian.

"Let's just say not all my enemies are ghosts."said Danny. He knocked on the door. Tucker answered. He hugged him as a greeting.

"You back!"said Tucker.

"This is my brother,Damian."said Danny. He gestures to his twin. Damian nods as a greeting. Tucker invites them in. They go to Tucker's room. Damian wasn't impressed by the decor. Danny sat at desk chair while Tucker text on his phone.

"Sam is on her way."said Tucker to Damian. Damian raised an eyebrow in slightly confusion.

"Tuck, I am over here."said Danny. Tucker looked at Danny.

"Right. Sorry, I am not using to this twin thing."Tucker admits.

"How the ghosts been?"asked Danny. Tucker gave Danny a knowing look before subtly pointing to his twin.

"He knows."said Danny.

"Even the you know."said Tucker. He did a crown gesture in his head. Danny nods.

"No fair. It took me months to figure it out. You just told him that information within days of meeting him."said Tucker. Danny shrugs while Damian smirks proudly.

"So how is the ghost activity?"asked Danny. Tucker cringe slightly before speaking.

"Elle is annoyed and is making it everyone problem. She constantly complaining to jazz instead of being in the ghost zone. Clockwork isn't happy about that by the way."said Tucker. Danny rubbed his temple. " ghosts are now coming out of portal more often to get away from Elle's attitude."he adds.

"Where is she now?"asked Danny.

"Last I heard, she was in the ghost zone."said Tucker.

"If your cousin is unfit to rule, why even give her the position?"asked Damian. Tucker was shocked at how similar the twins voices were.

"It's complicated."Danny reasons. He didn't feel like explaining how his preteen clone, Dani is properly fit for the job than the annoying eye balls called observers.

"Uncomplicated."Damian demands.

"No."said Danny. Damian glare at him. Danny was unfazed by the look but Tucker was scared. He stepped closer to Danny.

"Tuck, chill. He is harmless."said Danny. He sent a warning glare to Damian. His friends don't know about his past and he wants to keep it that way.  Danny clicked his tongue. Damian immediately stop glaring and forced a smile on his face.

Then they heard a knock at the door. Tucker left to answer the front door. Danny went to his twin.

"They don't know about my past before amity park. Keep it that way." Said Danny quietly. Damian nods as he keep his opinions to himself. He thinks his brother is being too secretive and that lies will come to light especially now that they are trying to blend their lives together.

At a hotel

Bruce told Tim and dick what exactly happened at the Fenton house. Dick looked shocked while Tim glared at dick.

"I told you! Something was shady was going on with Danny!"said Tim. Dick rolled his eyes.

"He doesn't trust us yet. Of course he would lie."said dick.

"Tim, did you bring the mobile computer?"asked Bruce.

"You mean the laptop."said dick. Tim nods before receiving the mobile bat computer. The laptop didn't have the same power as the one in the bat cave but it should suffice for basic research on Danny.

"I searched Danny name already and got a dead end because he didn't give us little to no info."Tim admits as he brings Bruce up to date on his own investigation. " I even used the name Danyal Al Ghul but the league deleted all traces of that name off the dark web."

"Use Danny Fenton."dick suggest.

"Danny is nickname."Tim hissed at his brother stupidity. Tim used the name 'Danyal Fenton' but there was no information.

"The Fenton probably changed his name. Arabic name isn't easy to speak. Try Daniel Fenton."said Bruce. He learned Arabic shortly after Damian entered his care.

When Tim entered that name, Danny's school records and foster records appear on screen. Bruce and dick look over Tim shoulders as they read through the documents.

"Why didn't Danny grades drop after a year being in school?"asked Tim as he noticed the drop from all A's to B's.

"Probably due to his bad attendance. His attendance record is spotty. He keeps skipping classes during the day."said dick. Tim looked at Bruce with annoyed face. Bruce place a hand Tim shoulder to keep Tim anger at bay.

"Damian and Danny have the same schooling. Danny should be able to pass his courses with ease."said Bruce.

"Kids who experience some time of trauma will should signs like falling behind in school. But in Danny case, something must had made him lose motivation to keep his grades up."said Tim to Bruce. Tim ignored his older brother.

"The Fentons will be no help in aiding us in that. They seem like they are neglectful. I am surprised child services didn't move Danny out of that home."said Bruce. He will make a report if Danny doesn't return to Gotham with him after this visit.

"Speaking of the scientists, were you able to discuss how the deal with influx of ghosts coming to Gotham?"asked dick. Bruce shook his head.

"No. Danny conveniently changed the topic of discussion."said Bruce.

"We could sneak into the house and gather intel ourselves."said Tim. He isn't above breaking few rules to solve a case. He did it before and he is will do it again if necessary.

"We are in unknown territory especially with a city hero that we know nothing about could be patrolling as we speak."said Bruce. He didn't like that he didn't know the superhero whereabouts. The superhero made Bruce on edge while in the city.

"I did look into phantom while you were gone. There wasn't much but speculations among multiple sources. Some say he has powers to possess others while others say he has powers to control the weather."said Tim. The articles didn't tell him any he didn't know about the hero already.

"What about that one article that phantom and red huntress are collaborating in battle?"asked dick.

"What article? I didn't read that one."said Tim. Dick search for the article again to see to his brother.

"Maybe if we find this red huntress, we can talk her about phantom."said dick.

"Finally you have a good idea."said Tim before he starts searching the web for the red huntress.

~Meanwhile at Tucker house

Sam was glaring at Damian. Damian looked unfazed. Danny and Tucker looked scared.

"Say that again."she hissed.

"You look like your mother."said Damian. Damian meet Sam parents are few gala before in Gotham. Sam look exactly like her except the hair style and color.

"Sam, my brother owns an animal sanctuary. He even began. He can help your cause for saving the animals."said Danny as he tries to distract Sam. Sam hesitant for a moment. She didn't have too many supporters of her cause especially ones with the actual money to fund it. She is willing to forgive Damian comment for her cause.

"Are you willing to help me?"asked Sam. Damian raised an eyebrow.

"With Your look?"said Damian flatly. Sam was about to lunge at him. Danny had to stop her.

"He will gladly help you. Now focus, we need a plan for me when I am in Gotham."said Danny. He needs to form a plan on how to deal with his ecto levels when away from a primary source.

"You could just learn how to create a portal."said Tucker.

"I can't."said Danny. His friends were there when he tried to create a portal from his self.

"Why not call your cousin and request the knowledge on how she made a portal to leave after a summoning."Damian suggest.  Tucker and Sam look at Danny with slight confusion.

"You didn't tell him?"asked Sam. Danny smiled apologetically while Damian looked annoyed realized he once again out of the loop.

"Elle is my pseudo cousin. She actually my clone."said Danny. Damian raised an eyebrow.

"Explain."said Damian demands.

"Long story short, she is a clone that failed. That why she younger than me and female. She has all the ghost powers I have at the time of the cloning. So if I don't have the skills then she doesn't."said Danny. Danny also explains that summoning circle opens and close a portal on its own.

"We need to talk to frostbite."said Tucker. Danny pouts.

"But soon as I step in the ghost zone. The eye balls will immediately scold me for giving Elle temporary leadership without their permission."said Danny. Damian phone chimed. He checked his phone.

"Danyal, father is requesting us."said Damian. Danny nods.

"Why you keep saying his name like that. It's Daniel."said Sam. Damian narrowed his eyes.

"I know how to pronounce my brother name unlike your uncultured tongue."said Damian. Sam glare at him.

"Damian, let's go."said Danny before his brother could anger Sam more. They left Tucker house and went to the hotel.

At the hotel

The twins entered the room. The tension was palpable. Bruce, Tim and dick was gather around the mobile bat computer. Bruce was first one to speak.

"You shouldn't interrupt me when I am gathering intel that is relevant."said Bruce to Danny. Then he looked at Damian. " you should remain logically when around your brother." He adds. Danny didn't like the tone Bruce spoke to his brother. Damian noticed his twin jaw clenched. He immediately clicked his tongue as a warning. Danny tried to keep his anger at bay as Bruce continued to scold Danny for being rude when adult are talking and scolding Damian for interrupting him while trying to scold Danny originally.

"B, I think they get your point. But we should get going."said dick.

"Where are you going?"asked Damian.

"We are going to meet this red huntress. We need answers about the city hero. She should be able to answer them."said Tim as he closed his computer.

"What's the plan?"asked Damian as he starts brainstorming ideas for interrogation. His ideas died the moment his father spoke.

"You two will stay here, where I know you'll be at. Tim and dick are coming with me."said Bruce. Dick open the suitcase that held their vigilante uniform.

"If you going as Batman. I am joining you."Damian states.

"No. You will stay here and protect Danny. We are in an unknown city with unpredictable villains."Bruce explains.

"Danyal doesn't need my help."said Damian. Danny agrees.

"I lived here for years without getting harmed. I can take care of myself."said Danny. Bruce ignored Danny comment.

"Stay here. We will back soon."said Bruce. They geared up while the twins could only watch. The three of them left without another word. Damian glared at his twin.

"That would been a good time to tell father that you know how to defeat ghosts."said Damian.

"The Fenton equipment can easily located ecto signature to find the nearest ghost. My ecto signature doesn't magically disappear when I am human."said Danny.

"How the Fentons didn't figure out that you are a ghost yet?"asked Damian. The Fentons are terrible hunters or Danny great at secrets. It's only logical reason Damian can think of.

"They don't know halfa exist. So in their minds, the equipment is broken. They trash a lot of projects with ecto signatures on it because of me."said Danny.

"So They are idiots."Damian concludes.Danny agrees. " so who is red huntress?"he asked.

"Long story short, she was my enemy but now my friend."said Danny.

"How many enemies you have?"asked Damian.

"Let me emphasize again, I am halfa. The ghost world see me an abomination while the human world think I am rare creature that they need to study and control."Danny explains. Damian pats Danny back. Damian understands having enemies but having multiple enemies from different worlds isn't something he could relate to. So he changed the subject instead.

"Can you contract red huntress before father finds her?"asked Damian. Danny nods. He pulls his phone out of his pocket and calls Valerie.

Val: Fenton, I am busy!
Danny: doing what?
Val: homework unlike you
Danny: your homework wait, sugar cube.
Val: don't call me that!
Danny: we have new player in town, sugar plum.
Val: Danny!!! Stop with the ridiculous nicknames before I track you down and blast ya!
Danny: make me, sugar.

Val hangs up. Danny smirks. He looks at his twin.

"She is coming."said Danny.

"Are you two in a romantic relationship?"asked Damian.

"What? No! I just did that make her angry enough to rush over here."said Danny. Damian didn't believe him but didn't mention it. Valerie arrived through within minutes. She knocked on the door. Danny answered it. Valerie greeted him with a ecto blast. Danny flew across the room. She pointed the blaster at the twin.

"You got better at duplicating yourself." Said Valerie. Damian pulled out a staff from his pocket. He clicked a button and extend the staff to it full length as he got in a fighting stance.

"Aki, I am fine. Val, this is my long lost twin,Damian."said Danny as he dusted himself off.

"He is reason why I am overworked trying to save the city!!!"said Valerie. She was trying balance a job and studying for pre college entrance exam when Danny just disappeared and made her the sole ghost hunter. "This is payback."she adds.

"Blast him. I will torture until there was an inch of your life."Danny threatens as his eyes glow green as the temperature in the room grew colder by the second. Valerie actually felt scared of Danny while Damian felt goosebumps. Valerie put the blaster away.

"Thank you. Now I call you here because some heroes are in my territory. They call themselves the bats."said Danny.

"Sounds like a you problem."said Valerie. She only work with phantom when necessary. She was enjoying her ghost fighting free days before Danny suddenly left.

"They were tracking you based on last location which can lead them back to your home."said Damian. Danny agrees.

"I can handle some superheroes. What's the real reason you called?"asked Valerie.

"The bats recognize that we are a team sometimes. So they want to question you about me."said Danny.

"Danny, I already promise to keep your secret if you keep mines. Why are you worried?"asked Valerie. They deal with supernatural villains everyday. A group of superheroes shouldn't be a problem for them.

Danny looked at his twin. Damian thought for a moment before speaking.

"The bats are a group of vigilantes who are skilled detectives that will stop at nothing to squelch their thirst for knowledge until they know everything single detail."said Damian. Valerie didn't look concerned.

"They actually know my human identity. If they connect it to my ghost identity. We are screwed."said Danny.

"And how do you know them?"asked Valerie.

"It's complicated. I just need you to avoid them at all costs."said Danny.

"But what if there a ghost attack?"asked Valerie.

"I will handle it."said Danny.

"Are you staying here or you're going back with your twin? Because I can't do this ghost fighting forever."said Valerie. Damian would like to know this too. He looks at his twin for an answer.

"I am still working on that."said Danny.

"You owe me big time."she said to Danny. Danny smirks.

"Of course, sugar cube."said Danny. Valerie glared at him. She left before she blasted him again. Damian looked at his twin.

"I need a list of your powers. Now."he demands.

"Tucker can text you the list."said Danny.

At the hotel

Danny was explaining his long list of powers to his twin when Damian changed the subject.

"You said you can skateboard?"asked Damian. Danny was slightly confused at the sudden change of subject.

"I learnt how to skateboard to impress this popular girl at school, Paulina. She is 10/10 in looks!"said Danny. He was explaining how popular Paulina at school when dick open the door.

"What did you learn?"asked Damian. Tim didn't look happy. Dick looks tired. Bruce shook his head.

"We couldn't locate her."said Bruce. He was disappointed but didn't show it.

"What's the next move?"asked Danny.

"We need to meet with the Fentons to discuss ghost related weapons and hopeful they have an answer about their decision about you."said Bruce. Danny stood up and stretched his arms above his head.

"Speaking of the Fentons, I need to head back."said Danny. He needs to plan on how to stop his foster parents from presenting the more powerful ghost weapons when the Wayne's visit.

"I will walk you home."said Damian. He stands up.

"Actually I will feel better if Tim or dick goes with you. It's better in numbers."said Bruce.

"Father, we will be fine. We are two trained assassins."said Damian.

"Actually Danny is out of practice for few years."tim points outs. The twins share knowing look. They didn't correct him.

"not it! My feet are tired."whined dick as he laid on the bed.

"Let's go, double trouble."said Tim. They left the hotel. Danny guided them to his house. It was quiet walk to Danny house. Once they arrived, Danny hugged Damian as a goodbye.

"I see you tomorrow."said Danny. Damian nods. Danny looks at Tim with slight annoyance before entering his house. Tim and Damian barely walk a block when Tim spoke.

"So what did you learn?"asked Tim. Damian spend all day with his twin. Tim knew Danny must had casually mentioned information to Damian about the city. Any information is good information right now because Tim is at a dead end on trying to figure out how Danny ended up in amity park instead of with Damian at the manor years ago.

"Danyal hobbies and favorite locations."said Damian.

"Details."Tim hissed.

"Drake,you have to ask more specific questions if you are looking for something."Damian states.

"How did he end up in amity park?"asked Tim.

"His foster parents found him in an alleyway while ghost hunting. But Danyal told me that mother revived him in the pits after his fail mission. Once he was full recovered, he went to search for me. He wasn't planning on staying in amity park but he is very fond of his foster Jazmine and stayed."said Damian. The lies he spoke was weaved with truths and possible theories that Tim easily believed as truth.

"Why would Talia do that? She had you as the future heir."said Tim.

"Danyal was back up plan. She saw that I was mourning my brother for too long. She was probably waiting for me to die of sad heart." Said Damian. He doesn't like speaking of the period of him grieving because it brings sad memories. However, he needs to answer Tim's questions carefully to protect his twin. He is willing to be seen as weak to ensure his twin protection.

"Damian."said Tim with sympathy.

"Drake, we should keep walking. Father is expecting us." Said Damian as he pushed away as any sad thoughts that rushed back to his mind. They walk was quiet.

~Meanwhile at the Fenton household

Danny went to jazz room. Jazz was reading a book. He closed the door.

"Where is the parents?"asked Danny.

"In the lab. They got a surge of inspiration after your biological father spoke about protecting you."said jazz before closing her book.

"I need your help. I need you to distract the parents."said Danny.

"Why?”asked jazz asked with suspicion.

"My father wants to have ghost weapons to bring back to Gotham. My father is smarter than the Fentons. He isn't going to assume the weapon is faulty if it works on me." Said Danny. Jazz looked concerned. " I need tamper some of their weapons temporarily before my father comes tomorrow." He adds.

"Danny, why don't you tell him about your identity? You will be safer in Gotham than here."said jazz.

"I need the ghost portal."said Danny. Jazz gave him a flat look.

"You know how to build one from scratch."said jazz. That was one of first things Danny did once he discovered that the Fenton research was scientifically sounded. Danny study all the blueprints in the lab to put to memory.

"I don't know if it will work. Then I will struck in Gotham without a primary source."said Danny.

"Fine. I will get mom and dad out of the lab."said jazz. Danny hugs jazz.

"Thank you."said Danny. Jazz left the room. Danny felt a cold breath leave his lips. Then he heard a familiar voice.

"Welcome back, cuz."said an anger voice. Danny barely had time to get in a fighting stance when he was punched in the jaw. Dani appear in front of him.

"Elli-" Dani punched him again. He landed on the floor. Dani kept swinging at him while Danny moved his head to dodge each fist. Danny grabbed her wrist to stop her.

"Ellie, cool it. I have bigger problem than your attitude."said Danny before pushing her off of him. Dani glared at him with glowing green eyes as she breathed hard in anger. Danny noticed the ring of rage on Dani hand.

"Ellie,where did you get that ring?"asked Danny calmly. Danny locked that away with the crown of fire after defeating the pariah dark. Pariah dark was king until Danny accidentally beat him in battle.

"I am queen. So this is mine! You wanted me as the leader of darkness. Here I am!" Said Dani. She created a sword of ectoplasm and pointed it at Danny. "You wanted to leave so badly for your precious brother. Then leave!"she said bitterly.

Danny tilted his head slightly." Are you jealous?" He asked. Dani swing the ecto sword at Danny. Danny dodged it with a chuckle.

"Ellie, you still my cousin." Said Danny as he duck the sword. " you still a part of my friad." He adds. Friad is a group of people that the ghost core attaches to in order to protect and love.

"You left me!" Said Dani. Danny block the attack with a ghost shield. " you purposely gave me this stupid job to distract me from the fact you are replacing me!" She adds as she repeatedly strike the ghost shield that Danny had as a barrier.

"I am not replacing you!" He said. He drop his shield and grabbed the ecto sword from his pseudo cousin. Dani got in a fighting stance.

"Ellie, I gave you the job because you care for not only the ghost but the humans also." Said Danny. Dani lunged at him. Danny blasted her. She flew to the back into the wall. He helped her off the ground. He subtly took the ring of rage from her. She immediately fainted into his arms from exhaustion as she transformed back to her human self.

Jazz came back to her room to tell Danny that the parents are out of the lab. Danny was placing Dani in the bed. Jazz noticed the broken posters on her wall.

"Danny." She said hissed. Danny smiled apologetically.

At the Fenton labs

The Waynes was gather in the lab as they listened to the scientists explain their research .

"How did you create the ghost portal?"asked Tim.

"We used a mixture of chemicals. It took us years to find the right solution for the primary source."said Maddie proudly. She started the explaining that the research about the ghost portal.

"Wait, so you never actually enter the portal to explore, you just use cameras?"asked Bruce.

"Yes. There no way us to safely explore the portal due to the extreme ectoplasm levels. Our cameras sometimes don't make it back."said Maddie. Jack tells a story about a time he sent a camera into the portal and it came back in pieces.

The scientists didn't know it but their hazmat suit they built will survive in the ghost zone. Danny tested all their equipment after Sam and Tucker join him in battling ghosts. They actually are the ones that realized the submarine feature on the ghost hunting vehicle works in the ghost zone.

"What weapons would you suggest for protection?"asked Bruce.

"The Fenton deflector! It will stop the ecto scum from possessing you."said Maddie. She grabs an ugly belt from the inventory. The Waynes were shocked at the possession power. Damian subtly glanced at his twin. Danny gave Damian a list of his powers but he didn't explain every skill.

"How often does that happen?"asked dick.

"One or twice."said Maddie with a shrug. Then she grabbed a weapon that look like a large gun. " this is a Fenton blaster. It can hurt or temporarily stun a ghost." She adds.

"Actually, I don't feel comfortable with have guns in my home with my children."said Bruce. Danny looked slightly confused.

"No kill rule."Damian mumbled to his twin. Jack showed a noninvasive weapon.

"This is the Fenton thermos. It can suck any ghost inside of it." Said Jack. He showed a tube like canister.

"You have a lot of weapons to capture ghosts. But how do you dispose of them?"bruce asked.

"First we study them then with the remains, we use to infuse our weapons. Ghosts can only be hurt by weapons that have ecto infused into it. Same with our cameras. Ghosts don't show up on photos well without it. "Said Maddie. Danny could see the gears turning in Tim head.

"Speaking of photos, they are only here a limited time. And they hasn't seen most of amity park yet. We can waste daylight in the lab." Said Danny. Tim about to disagree when Damian spoke first.

"Yes. I love to see what the city offers."said Damian.

"Hold on. There still matters to discuss. Such as your decision about Danny residency."said Bruce. The other kids under Bruce care didn't have to deal with any custody issues because their biological parents were no longer present. The Fentons looked at each other with hesitation. Then they looked at Danny.

"Danny, we will accept whatever you make. You can visit whenever you want."said Maddie as Jack side hug his wife in comfort. Everyone looked at Danny.

Bruce hopes Danny picks him because he can't in good conscience leave him here. Dick wants Danny come home with them but he understands that some parental bonds can't be broken to form more. It took him a little while to accept Bruce as a father figure in his life.
Tim also wants Danny to come back with them. A part of him like that Danny is a mystery waiting to be solved while another part longs to build a bond with the brother that he was unable to meet.
Damian knew what his twin answer would be. It didn't help the sadness leaking into his heart. But he still had a tiny piece of hope that Danny will choose him. Choose to be with partners again. Choose their brotherhood over this new life that he made without him. Damian didn't want to loose his brother again. He knew logically he and visit Danny whenever but his heart is telling him that Danny is leaving and never coming back. So, it felt like a knife to heart when Danny spoke.

"I am staying in amity park."said Danny without hesitation. He tried not look at his twin but he wavered. He instantly regretted. Damian eyes were filled with sadness. Danny was about to retract his words that cause Damian more pain. Danny was about speak when Damian spoke before me.

"We accept your decision. We will be in touch."said Damian as he kept the emotion out of his tone. He looked at his father. " father, I have school in the morning. It would be wise to travel home now." He said before turning his back to Danny. He left without an another word.

Damian quickly the house. He even ignored jazz who tried to speak with him on the way out. He walked down the front steps. He barely made it down the street when a guy with gray hair and suit.

"We have a lot to discuss, Daniel."said the guy before using a ghost taser on Damian. Damian immediately passes out from the high voltage.

Meanwhile in the Fenton house

Damian left. Danny look in the direction that he left in. He wanted to follow after him but Maddie pulls him into a hug.

"Aww sweetie. I knew you love us."said Maddie as Danny remain stiff in her arms.

"Danny, you always welcome to visit us too. Message me and we will send a jet."said Bruce. Danny sighed in relief that his father was taking it well. But dick and Tim look at each other knowingly. They both knew Danny will be back in Gotham real soon.

Bruce give his phone number to Danny and his foster parents. Danny walked the waynes to the front door. Dick hugged Danny as a goodbye.

"We have family dinner every Sunday."said Tim nonchalantly. He may not trust him fully but Danny is still family.

"Where's Damian?"asked Danny. He hoped Damian would had at least said goodbye before leaving.

"Probably at the hotel."said dick. Bruce hummed in agreement.

"If you change your mind, the plane will be at the same location." Said Bruce.

"I am not changing my mind." Said Danny even though he really wanted to. The waynes left and went to their hotel. Damian wasn't there. Tim used the mobile bat computer to track Damian phone.

"There's no signal."said Tim in slightly confusion. He checked the body tracker that Bruce placed in Damian shoes. There still was no signal.

They all immediately suit up and went to search for Damian. They spend hours talking to civilians and checking buildings. They found nothing.

"Maybe he went to talk to Danny?"dick suggest. It was a low possibility but it was the only idea they left. They changed into their civilian clothes before going to meet the teen at his house. Danny answered the door with slight confusion.

"I thought you guys were leaving?"said Danny.

"Change of plans. Damian is missing."said Tim. He could sworn that he saw Danny eyes flashed green before returning blue.

" come in. I will ask my friends to help." Said Danny. The waynes come in. Bruce noticed the lack of Danny family members in the home.

"Where are your parents?"asked Bruce.

"Working in the lab. Probably working on the weapons you want shipped to you."said Danny. There was slightly bitter in his voice that Danny forgot to hid in his tone. He was too worry about Damian to focus on deceiving the family of detectives. Danny dials on his phone. " excuse me for a moment." He said before. He leaves the room. He calls Ellie.

Danny: I need a favor
Ellie: no!
Danny: please!
Ellie: what do you want?
Danny: my twin is missing. I need a search team.
Ellie: if only you were king, you could just order one at any moment.

Danny took a deep breath to calm his anger. He doesn't need the one person who can actually help mad at him right now. So he tried a different angle since Ellie is still isn't accepting of Damian yet.

Danny: if I went missing, would you look for me?
Ellie:...... fine. I would send the blobs to look. But no more royal favors until you take your stupid crown back!

Then she hanged up. Danny immediately shivered as his ghost senses an influx of ghost nearby. He went back to the living room.

"My friend will text me when they found a clue."said Danny.

"We can't sit here and wait on our hands!"said Tim. Then the Fentons ran out of the lab with ghost blasters in hand.

"The ecto scum are everywhere!!"yelled Maddie as she looked at ghost founder on her watch.

"We will be back!"said Jack as they rush out of the house. They didn't even noticed the guest as they ran out of the front door. Danny grabbed the weapons laying around the living room.

"You going hunting too?"asked dick. Danny shook his head.

"No. I am preparing. Because whoever took my brother is either a ghost or a creep. Either way, I am gonna blast their ass."said Danny as he check the ghost blaster for functionality. He didn't noticed the confused and slightly concern looks he was getting.

"I thought you avoid ghosts at all costs?"asked Tim with folded arms.

"Unless necessary."said Danny. The ghost blaster powered up properly as it has a faint glow of green. His phone chimed. It was a text from Ellie.

Ellie: fruit loop basement. Why didn't you check there first!? I risk those ghosts lives!
Danny: I will release any ghost that is caught.

"Good news and bad news."said Danny.

"What's the good news?"asked dick.

"I know where Damian is."said Danny. Bruce raised an eyebrow.

"And the bad news?"asked Bruce.

"He probably kidnapped because they thought Damian was me."said Danny.

"You get kidnapped that often?"asked dick.

"Apparently Damian does too because I kidnapped in Gotham."Danny points out.

"You did?"asked Bruce with slightly shock. He thought Danny was under close watch when he wasn't home to prevent that from happening. Bruce glanced at Tim who conveniently looking interested in the paint of the wall.

"Let's suit up and go."said dick. They stopped by the hotel to get dressed. Then Danny lead them to vlad's house.

"This guy is rich."said dick as he look at the mansion.

"I would hope so. The city is paying him well."said Danny. He explains that the guy is the mayor of the city as they walk down the long driveway.

"Should we be sneaking in?"asked dick. He trying follow Danny lead but his plan doesn't seem logical.

"No. Because he isn't expecting us. Nobody comes to rescue me."said Danny. Dick frowns while Tim look impressed. Bruce just that statement the growing list of reason why Danny shouldn't stay here.

"Why does he kidnap you?"asked Tim. The Wayne kids are usually kidnap for ransom. Tim couldn't understand why Danny who is middle class and has no status in the community would get kidnapped.

"It's long story."Danny said as an excuse. He didn't want to explain how his godfather who also his nemesis is constantly trying to rip the family apart to keep maddie to himself. The guy who thinks that Danny should be his son because they both of halfa.

They follow Danny around the mansion. They ended up in the basement who there was more hallways. But Danny navigated them so well by on memory alone. Bruce thought it was impressed and concerning.

At the vlad residence

The teen was strapped to a wall. His hands and feet were in handcuffs that had green glow. The kidnapper noticed Damian was awake.

"Daniel, you can fight it but those cuffs are ghost proof. It's best to get put away those green eyes of yours before you exhaust yourself."said the guy. Damian tug on the cuffs. It was tighten to the point of barely anything circulation for his body.

"Now Daniel, where were you? You were gone for almost a week."said the guy. Damian remained quiet. If there one thing he learned from visiting amity park, it's that Danny has a lot of enemies. This guy must be a ghost hunter if he knows that Danny status of a halfa. But Damian doesn't understand why the guy would care if Danny wasn't in the city if he just want hunt a rare species. Damian just hopes the silence method would made the guy ramble more. So he can understand this situation better without accidentally exposing Danny.

"Your absent made my Madeline worry. We can't have that." Said the guy with a frown. Damian looks uninterested as confusion enters mind. " Daniel my dear boy, you know as mayor, I can easily call up Child protection services and have you remove from my maddie care." He adds with mischievous smirk.

Damian wonders what Danny did to anger the mayor of city. Danny doesn't pick fights easily unless his brother involved. Damian has even more questions when the guy continues talking.

"I wonder where you will charge your ecto levels without a portal. You can only survive from the ectoplasm in the air for short period of time." Said the guy. Damian filed that information for later and hopefully can fact check it later with his brother.

The guy smirk grew as he spoke. " if only you took my offer to train under me." He said. Damian seems unfazed and quiet. But the guy eyebrow raised in suspicion. Danny is never short of rebuttals and colorful insults. The guy stared at Damian for a moment. Then he grabbed the teen face with one hand. Damian glared at him as the guy stared directly in Damian's green eyes. His eyes wasn't a glowing green color like he should be for a ghost.

"You not Daniel."said the older man. Damian headbutts the man. The man stumbled back few steps as he rubs his head.

"Who are you?"asked the guy. Damian remained silent. He isn't going give this him information so freely. He isn't an idiot like the one in front of him. If this guy wants any answers out of Damian, he better be ready for a bloody mess.

"Not the talking type." Said the guy. Suddenly the guy hand glow green. The same way that his twin did while fighting the ghost at the shopping mall. But Danny said half ghosts are rarely. Damian knew statistically that there no way that there two half ghosts living in the same city.

The guy hit Damian with a blast of ecto to the abdomen. Damian hissed in pain as he ignored the organ shifting nerve burning pain that makes he want to actually scream. He had to dig his nails into his hands as he curls it into a fist to his pain. He knew he should never show weakness to the enemy.

The guy looked at the teen with slight surprised but quickly masked his expression. He raised his palm at the teen again.

"How are you afflicted with Daniel?"asked the guy. Damian remain silent as he endure the pain. The guy blasted him again. Damian could feel himself drawing blood from his nails from digging in his hands to hide his pain. He had to force himself to get his eyes open and not close in pain. He wanted to glare at the guy that was causing his pain.

The teen's T shirt was melt off by the blast. The abdominal muscles that Damian gain from working out for years was the only thing protecting his organs from injury. Unfortunately it didn't stop the pain of being burnt. The abdominal muscles was dark shade of brown.

The man in front of the teen was impressed by the boy's resilience. But the teen glare reminds of his godson, Danny.

"Who are you?"he demands. Damian remains quiet. The guy hand glow green as he threateningly glares at the teen. When suddenly green beam shot at the guy from the doorway. He flew backwards into the nearest wall. Damian looks over it was his family in their gear. Well except his twin who was currently wearing space theme hoodie while holding a ghost blaster in his arms. Dick and Tim went to Damian to get him out of the cuffs. Bruce and Danny walked to the kidnapper who now staring at the end of Danny's gun.

"This is a big misunderstanding. I was saving this young man."said the guy. He gestured to Damian who was now leaning on Tim as dick tries to unlock the cuffs on his legs.

"From what?"asked Bruce.

"From this bad ghost named Plasmius. As mayor it's my duty to protect the citizens."he said. Danny wanted to call him out on his lies but he can't without exposing himself.

"The man is speaking lies." Said Damian as his oldest brother supported his body weight as he stood up. Bruce was taking moment to decide what to do with the criminal. Danny made a decision for him. Danny blasted the guy in head with ghost blaster. The guy was knocked out.

"Danny, we don't know if that's safe for human use." Bruce scolds him.

"He will be fine." Said Danny with dismissal. He walks to Damian as he ignore Bruce who was trying to scold him.

"There a hospital a few blocks away." Danny suggests.

"I will call a taxi." Said Tim.

" No. just bandage me on the plane. I will fine until we go home." Said Damian. He didn't want to spend another minute in this town that Danny chose to stay in. The quicker Damian get home, the quicker he can cry in peace. Damian ignores his pain as he walks towards the exit with his shoulder high and head held up.

"You guys can go home. I will call the cops to get this square away." Said Danny. Dick and Tim agrees immediately so they can leave to catch up with Damian. Bruce looks at Danny.

"Danny, isn't too late to join us." Said Bruce.

" I will try to invite the family dinner on Sunday." Said Danny to placate his father. Bruce agrees before leaving. Once they were off the property, Danny walks to vlad. He slaps him to gain consciousness. Danny immediately forms a knife of ice from his hand. He points it at vlad throat.

"We had a deal, nobody in my friad gets hurt and you get to continue to run your little minions around in my haunt." Said Danny.

" Daniel, I didn't know that kid was in your friad." Said vlad nervously as Danny look at him with murderous intent.

" blood for blood." Said Danny in Arabic. He starts stabbing vlad multiple times as a speed which vlad never seen before. Danny was angry and he made sure vlad knew it. Danny was injuring the other halfa so fast that the healing abilities couldn't keep up. Vlad was missing from his mayor duties for few days after that eventful day.

At the Wayne manor

Damian sat in bed as Alfred as clean and redress his wounds on his hands and abdomen. Alfred was little surprise to see the teen wound healing very quickly. Yesterday, Damian abdomen had fourth degree burnt but today it look like first degree burn.  Even Damian hands was already scarring over from where he digger his nails at.

"Master Damian, did you ingest any unusual while visiting your brother?"asked Alfred. Damian knew he was only concern for his health. But he is okay especially now he knows Danny theory about his blood is true.

"Pennyworth, you can't tell father or anyone else. But Danyal blood has healing properties that I won't discuss." Said Damian. Alfred agrees.

"Breakfast will start in few minutes." Said Alfred before leaving. Damian get ready for school when his phone rang. He grab his phone off the bed. It was Danny. It answered it and placed on speaker mode. He spoke as he buttoned his tshirt.

Damian: morning danyal
Danny: how you feeling?

Damian could easily hear the guilt in his brother's voice.

Damian: I am healing just fine thanks to you.
Danny: I didn't ask that.
Damian: I am okay, Danyal.
Danny: sorry not checking on you last night. I got busy with stuff.

Damian placed his uniform jacket on.

Damian: are you traveling to school right now?
Danny: yeah. I am walking to Tucker house so we can walk together.
Damian: where is Samantha?
Danny: her parents are dro-

Danny sighs in the background before he starts talking fast.

Danny: I am gotta go! I will text you later.

Danny hanged up before Damian could say goodbye. Damian places his phone in his pocket before heading downstairs to the dining room. Tim was eating at the table. Bruce wasn't there.

"Where is father?"asked Damian as he took a seat.

"He went to the office early. He wanted to get started on the process of getting Danny in his care." Said Tim. Damian isn't surprised that his father is trying to bring Danny home.  He just little disappointed that his father didn't respect Danny decision.

Damian hummed in acknowledgment as Alfred served him a plate. Tim sip on his coffee before speaking again.

" Alfred allowed you go to school?"asked Tim. Damian's  injuries should had made him be on bed rest for at least a week.

"I am going against medical advice."said Damian as excuse. This isn't the first time that one of son of Bruce disregard Alfred advice. But Damian doesn't get injury often. So Tim assumed that Alfred would strong encourage Damian to on bed rest for awhile.

"B is going to bench you though." Said Tim in hopes that Damian was recognized the severity of his injury. Bruce will bench his sons from vigilante activity when their injuries are severe and won't be able to resume until Alfred clears them. Tim thought the threat of being Bench would make Damian second guess going against Alfred advice and delaying his recovery.

"Drake, just because you get bench for every minor injury doesn't mean I will." Said Damian. He isn't too worry about his father benching him because he knows alfred will side with him.

Tim remain silent as he thought of ways of making Damian stay home. Damian quickly ate before tim could formulate a solid plan. Once damian was done eating, he left the dining hall. He requested Alfred to meet him at the car. He quickly left for school before Tim could stop him.

Meanwhile at amity park

Danny was flying to school. He just finished fighting and capturing a local ghost. He flew with invisible on as zoomed to make on time. He used his intangible to enter the janitor closet. He changed back before running out of the restroom and down the hallway. He slid around the corner as he continued to run. He made to class when the bell officially rang.  The teacher wasn't impressed. Danny took his seat.

The classes pass by with no ghost events happening. Danny was glad. Especially since he didn't get any sleep last night. Danny slept for most of his classes. His friends demanded questions at lunch.

"What happened?"asked Sam.

"I took the crown back. The eyeballs immediately put me to work."Danny whined. His cousin was happy to give the title back to him. Ellie took the nearest portal to a random country so she can continue traveling. Unfortunately, Danny had to clean up the political mess that she left. He took him hours calming down ghosts and settling disputes. Danny explained this to his friends who understood perfectly.

"At ellie is happy." Said tucker on a positive note.

"Speaking of happiness, Danny you should also be happy. You should had pick going back with your brother."said Sam.  Danny told them about his decision to stay in amity park earlier today. They understood Danny reasons at the time.

"Sam, Danny is happy here."said Tucker. Danny frowns.

" guys, if I could be at two places at once. I would."said Danny.

" you can duplicate yourself."suggest Tucker. Danny shook his head.

"It's too much of risk of it being unstable with the distance."said Danny.

"Did you ask frostbite?"asked Sam. Danny shook his head.

" I have been busy."he said. Then his phone chimed. He took his phone out of his pocket. It was a text from Damian.

Danny immediately FaceTime him. Damian appeared on screen along with another boy with black hair and blue eyes.

"What's up?"asked Danny.

"I am showing this imbecile. That I have a twin."said Damian.he gesture to his friend who was in shocked.

"Hi!! I am Jon!"he said. Danny smiles as the opposites on the screen. Damian had flat expression while Jon was excited. Jon look in more shocked at Danny.

"You have a smile?!?"Said Jon. He looks at Damian. "See that called being happy to see someone."he adds. Damian rolled his eyes. Danny laughs. Danny's friends was looking at him with curiosity. He turned the phone towards them to show his brother and Jon.

"Foley. Mason." Said Damian as a greeting. Danny introduced them properly and even introduced Jon.

"You guys lunch look so bland."said Jon with a pity look. Danny turns the phone back to himself. He shrugs.

"It's public school."said Danny. He prop the phone on a milk carton so he can continue eating. " what does your school serve?" He asked before taking a bite of his food. Damian was explaining how the food was decent and have proper nutrition value.

"Actually the nutrition value of dairy of very low to balanced meal." Sam argues. Damian start explaining his side when someone sudden grabs the front of Danny's shirt. He is lift up off his seat. He was face to face with school's jock, dash.

"Fenton-turd, I wanted pizza today. Unfortunately for you, they not serving pizza today." Said dash. Dash punched Danny in the face. Danny landed on the ground. Dash starts kicking him. He stopped once he was satisfied. Dash walked away. Tucker and Sam helped Danny to his feet.  Danny dusted himself off before taking a seat at the table. He looked at his phone screen. Damian looked murderous while Jon looked worried.

"I am fine." Said Danny. He didn't have a bruise on him. His sides hurt a little but he is overall okay. Then the bell rang to signal the end of lunch.

" I gotta go. Later Aki."said Danny before ending the call before damian could speak. danny went to class meanwhile damian regrets not staying with his twin in amity park.

At the Wayne manor

Damian sat at the dining table with his siblings. The table was set as everyone listened to dick fill in the awkward silence. Everyone was here to see Danny who wasn't here.

Bruce sent a jet to get Danny hours ago. The pilot hasn't even taken off yet. Stephanie sighs loudly.

"He isn't coming. Can Alfred serve the food now?"asked Stephanie. Jason agrees.

"Brat, where is your twin?"asked Tim. Damian glared at the empty plate in front of him. He texted Danny an hour ago but he received no response. Danny was probably busy fighting ghosts. Damian hates being out of the loop.

They been separated for a week now. It's frustrating to Damian. Danny is constantly busy with ghost business. He barely had time to talk to Damian. To make matters worse, Danny is being secretive again. He keeps avoiding topics like what he exactly he is doing in the ghost zone. Whenever Damian ask for details, Danny just dismiss it by saying 'ghost king stuff'.

"I don't have that information." Damian admits bitterly.

"I told you we should have put a tracker on him!"said Tim. Damian doesn't doubt that Tim will attempt to place a tracker on Danny tonight. But Tim underestimates Danny if he thinks Danny won't notice.

"Can you just track his phone?"asked Stephenie with slight confusion.

"No. Danny was very adamant about not giving his number out. Only Damian has it."said Tim. Damian was protecting the phone number closely. He changed the password every few hours to keep Tim out from hacking it from the bat computer.

"So we can't add him to the group chats?"asked Stephenie with a frown. Jason rolled his eyes.

"Trust me. He isn't missing out on anything."said Jason. The group chat is just them texting random things at the most annoying times. Jason silent the chat months ago. Damian agrees with Jason on this.

"The group chat doesn't have relevant information."said Damian.

"You don't even check it often to know."dick points out.

"Grayson, I don't want to know about how the printer was broken at your job."said Damian.

"That happened last month! They fix now."said dick.

"Wait! You didn't get our vacation photos, Damian?"asked Stephanie. She sent the photos of Cassandra and her into the group chat.

"I saw the post on social media."said Damian. All of the Wayne family has a social media account to help establish their civilian lives. The public loves it because it shows that Bruce Wayne's children are good people. Damian rarely uses his social media.

"You remember your account password."Tim jokes. Damian glares at him.

"I remember all my passwords unlike you."said Damian. Tim was about to disagree when everyone heard footsteps. They turned towards the doorway of the dining room. Alfred appeared and everyone was disappointed. Danny enter the room moments later. Everyone was happy to see him.

Dick was first to get up and rush to greet Danny with a hug. Danny avoided dick's arms and continued to walk towards Damian. Damian smirks as his twin approaches him. Danny hugs him. Damian hugs him back.

Stephanie and Cassandra was shocked. Dick bitterly whispered to them that Damian has no problem hugging Danny. Danny takes a seat next to Damian.

"How did you arrive? My pilot was waiting for you."said Bruce.

"My parents dropped me off."said Danny. Nobody was believing that lie. Danny forgot that they knew the Fentons wasn't the best parents. So Danny changed his lie. "One of friend's parent drove me. Apparently they come to Gotham often for gala." He said.

"Who?"asked Tim.

"Samantha mason."said Damian to logical support the lie.

"She likes to be called Sam."Danny said to Damian. Damian disregarded this correction.

"What time your parents are expecting you back?"asked Bruce.

"Tomorrow."said Danny.

"Did you tell them that you staying the night here or did you lie again?"asked Tim. The twins glared at him. They didn't like Tim tone. But danny calm his annoyance down. He masked it with an innocent pout.

"I am sorry. I just want to see you guys again." Said Danny. He sighs. "But you are right, I should go home and apologize to my parents." He stands up to leaves. All of siblings except Damian immediately disagrees with Danny.

"Stay."said dick with a pleasing tone.

"Yeah. Tim lies all the time to get his way."said Stephanie. Cassandra spoke in sign language. Stephanie translated it. " she said that you are welcome here regardless on how you come." Cassandra smiles.

Damian was impressed. Danny managed to trick Cassandra to believe his lies. Cassandra is usually good at reading people. Damian immediately recognized the emotional manipulation technique. They have the same training but Damian was never good at it like his twin was.

Danny took a seat again. Alfred served dinner to keep seated. Dick immediately starts to question Danny about his week.

"What you been up to?"asked dick.

"School and hanging out with my friends." Said Danny with a shrug. That was too vague even for the family of detectives.

"He been playing video games and watch a movie at mason's house. He was impressed by the in home theater."Damian supplies. He omits Danny's ghost related activities that Danny told him about during the week. But he gave some information to satisfy the family. Danny was appreciative but mischievous.

"Did Damian tell you that, he found a box of kittens few days. He thought one of them even look like a cow."said Danny. Damian pinched Danny arm. Danny laughs.

"Damian, we agreed that you will not bring any more animals home."said Bruce.

"Father, I brought them to a local shelter."said Damian.

"This update could had been in the group chat. I would like to see cute animals." Said Stephanie.

"Steph, let that go."whined Jason.

"What group chat?"asked Danny.

"Your precious 'Aki' didn't tell you?"teased Tim. This time Tim is sure that Danny's eyes flashed green for half of a second. Damian speaks interrupted the tension.

"It's just a group chat for us. It primarily uses for minor updates that they believe are interesting about their lives."said Damian. Danny looked at Stephanie.

"I would like to join that."said Danny. Stephanie quickly gave her phone to Danny before he changes his mind.

"I thought you didn't want to give your number."said Tim.

"Because you were trying to track down my home address but that's no longer a secret."said Danny. He types in his number.

"You going to he regrets this."mumbled Damian to Danny. Danny shrugs and passes the phone back to Stephanie. Stephanie adds him to the chat. The rest of dinner spend with everyone trying talk at once. Damian was happy when it was over.

Bruce, Dick and Jason had to immediately to go patrol in their proper areas among the cities. Stephanie and Cassandra went to the batcave to help them on patrol.

"You not going?"asked Danny as he helped clean up.

"He is bench due to his injury."said Tim as he gathered the dirty plates from the table. Danny look at Damian with slight concern. Damian rolled his eyes.

" I am fine but father is being cautious because Alfred recommended light work."said Damian. Once they clear the table, they headed to Damian room. Tim followed them in the same direction.

"Danny, Alfred clean the bedding weekly. So your room is ready whenever you come over."said Tim. Danny ignore his comment. Tim change directions to head to the batcave. The twins went to Damien room. Once the door was locked, Danny spoke.

"Let me see."said Danny as he gestured to Damian injury. Damian rolled his eyes. He lifted his shirt. Danny gently removed the bandage. Damian was fully healed. There was no scar.

"You shouldn't be benched."said Danny.

"And how would you explain this miraculous healing? Because I had fourth degree burns Danyal."said Damian. He placed the bandages back in place.

"That guy was severe punish for that by the way."said Danny.

"And how does the ghost king punish his own?"asked Damian with an raised an eyebrow. Last time Damian tried to ask the question, Danny avoid it. Danny can't lie easily to Damian in person and Damian knows it.

"Usually I send this to a jailer in the ghost zone."said Danny. Then he raised his hand. He form ice over his hand into a sharp point. " this was personal." He said.

"Does your godfather also have ice abilities?"asked Damian. Danny sighs in annoyance before deactivating his power.

"He isn't my godfather. My foster father Jack, told that fruit loop that became they thought they could adopt me one day. But they couldn't officially adopt me because I was adamant that I had parents." Said Danny.

"You still didn't explain how that fruit loop became a halfa."said Damian. Danny explains that vlad got his powers from a freak accident in a lab years ago.

"But speaking of labs, I have good news."said Danny. Damian smiles.

"What's the good news?"asked Damian.

"I told the frostbite. He told me I can technically move a portal instead creating a portal for scratch."said Danny. He explains that he needs to adsorb an existing portal and moved it to a new location.

"Then you can stay in Gotham."Damian concludes. Danny nods. Damian hugs Danny.

"But we need a big wall that deep enough to hold it. And it had to be a in a secret location too."said Danny. That's actually the reason why he staying the night to explore the city for a location to build to foundation for the portal.

"I know the perfect spot."said Damian. They left Damian room. They went to the batcave. They snuck past the main room and went down a staircase. Damian has to light a torch to guide them farther down the stairs. Damian opens a door. They enter to a big dark space. Danny noticed a headstone on the wall. He walked closer. It was a headstone for Jason.

"Father thought he was gone for good. Apparently mother had many plans she didn't tell us about."said Damian as he joins Danny. " nobody comes down here anymore. Especially since Jason is alive again."he adds.

"Does he know?"asked Danny as he looks at the headstone. Damian shook his head.

"I only know about it because I made it my mission to know about every room and space in this manor."said Damian. He walks to another wall.

"This should be big enough?"said Damian. Danny nods excitedly. "How long will it take to build the foundation?"he asks.

"Few days for foundation then maybe a week for the structural work."said Danny. He sighs in disappointment. " but I can't be here every day. So probably longer than that." He adds.

"I can assist you while you away."said Damian. he will do anything to speed up the process to get his brother back home.

"Let's get to work." Said Danny.

At the manor

Damian watched as Danny duplicates himself into 5 people. The clones immediately got started destroying the wall and creating a tunnel. Danny was looking over his blueprints in his hands.

"How many can you create?"asked Damian. He looks at one of clones destroying the wall with a sledgehammer.

"Depends on my ecto levels but a lot." Said Danny. Damian had curiosity in his eyes. But before Danny could warn his twin, Damian touched the clone. The clone disappeared into the air.

"Then more I make, the less stable they are. So please don't touch or bump into them."said Danny. Damian nods.

"If you can create your own workers, why I am here?"asked Damian. He raised an eyebrow.

"For company. Now tell me what this new animal shelter that opened up few days ago." Said Danny. Damian shared his very strong opinion about the low budget shelter.

They spend most of the night watching the clones dig the tunnel as they chatted. They had to returned back to Damian room to sleep.

Danny had to leave in the early morning because he had school. Damian promised to work on the portal once he returned home after school. Alfred look at him suspiciously after he skipped his afternoon snack so he could quickly finish up his homework.  He worked on the portal until dinner. For once, Damian was happy that his father and Tim usually are too busy with work to eat dinner with him. He didn't have to engaged in long winded conversations as he ate. He went back to the cave to work on the portal.

Damian wasn't even sad that he was missing on patrol as he check the dimensions on the blueprints. He worked all night on it.

Damian repeated this cycle for days. Alfred was concerned for him. Damian was low energy during meal times and constantly spending time in the graveyard.

When the twins reunited on the weekend, they spent all their time in Damian room. Damian noticed Alfred suspicion. So Danny got an amazing idea.

"I can just turn us intangible and travel to the cave."said Danny.

"The cave is located miles above kitchen."said Damian. Danny thought about it for a moment.

"I could just turn us invisible and intangible to the kitchen. Then travel through the floor to reach it."said Danny. Damian agrees. Danny grabbed his hand.

"You have to stay connected to me at all times." Said Danny. Damian gave him a flat look. He isn't an idiot. Danny turned invisible. Damian felt a slight chill rush through his body. They went to the door. Damian felt another chill before they walked through the door. They walked to the kitchen. Tim was complaining about his coffee to Alfred.

"Alfred, I can taste the different! I know you switch it to decaf."said Tim. Alfred ignores Tim complaints and lectures him about getting proper sleep. Damian guided them around the kitchen until they were over the room. Damian felt a chill before they travel through the floor. They started falling from the ceiling. Damian let go to land safely in a crouched position. Danny floated down to the ground.

Danny was impressed by Damian progress. They need to work out the electrical circuit then they be ready to official make a ghost portal. Danny was explaining the blueprint to Damian.

"Why is the on switch on the inside?"asked Damian. He thinks that's a safety hazard waiting to happen.

"The Fentons isn't the always the brightest."said Danny. He explains how he going to fix the circuit to move it. They suddenly heard approaching footsteps. Danny made two duplicates of himself. The two clones make the portal and the supplies invisible. Damian and Danny sat in front of the headstone.

"Don't cry Danyal."said Damian as he project his voice slightly so it would echo in the room. The footsteps stop approaching.

"I am sympathetic cryer."said Danny. Damian glared at him for the implication that Damian could be crying. Damian didn't want to see weak to whoever on the side of the door.

"Whatever makes you feel better, Danyal."said Damian. The footsteps outside the door became lighter as they approached the door. Danny laid his head on Damian lap. Damian instinctively ran his fingers through Danny hair. The door opens, Tim enters. Tim screens the barely lit room. He spots the twins on the floor in front of headstone.

"You guys shouldn't be down here."said Tim.

"We are allow to go in any room in the cave."Damian points out. Tim narrowed his eyes.

"Do you need something? I am trying to get rid of this migraine." Said Danny. Tim looked at Danny with slightly concern and suspicion.

"Alfred should had some medicine. Also, he sent me to tell you that dinner is ready."said Tim.

"We will be there in few minutes." Said Damian. Danny looks up at Damian with slight confusion. Tim nods before leaving. Damian looks down at Danny fondly.

"This is reminds when we snuck out the house to the pond and star gaze."said Damian. Danny smiled at the memory. "You still like cat." He adds. Danny smiles turns into a slight pout.

"Nuh!"said Danny.
"Yuh!"said Damian. Danny sits upright.

"Take it back."said Danny. Damian smirks.
"Make me" he challenges before taking off running out of the room. Danny chase after him. They ran around the batcave. It seems like they were playing a game of cat and mouse. Danny was the cat and Damian was the mouse.

Damian ran upstairs. Danny was hot on his trail. Damian ran around the first floor. Danny attempted to grab him but Damian dodge and avoids.

"No running in the manor."said Alfred in calm but stern tone. The twins stopped running. They apologized to Alfred before Danny seize his moment to tackle Damian to the ground. He starts tickling him.

"Young masters, your dinner will get cold."said Alfred. He didn't want to disrupt the fun moment but the teens need to eat.

At the manor

Tim was sitting at the bat computer. He noticed Damian from his peripheral view. Tim closed the case file he was working on and pull up the security cameras. He followed Damian to the graveyard room. Tim raised an eyebrow.

Tim has been watching damian moves since last weekend. Damian keeps going to that room. The one room that doesn't have a camera. Bruce purposeful didn't install one because he wanted to create space where the family could grieve at without judgement of each other.

Tim quietly walk to the hallway that leads to the staircase to lower level. He slowly moved down the stairs before walking down the hall. He could hear tools in use making tiny echo. The sound got louder as he approached the door. He touch the doorknob and immediately was electrocuted.

Tim took his hand off the knob. He flat his hair as he walked from the door. He went back upstairs. He sat at the bat computer. He worked on case files as he waited for Damian to appear. Damian didn't come out until Alfred retrieved him for dinner. Tim actually join him for dinner.

Damian was slightly surprised when Tim took a seat for dinner. Damian assumed they were eating in silence like usual but Tim had to open his mouth and ruin the peace.

"Did Alfred clear you yet?"asked Tim.

"No."said Damian. He had to request Alfred not to clear him medical for patrol. Alfred gladly accepted the request because he didn't have to worry about any potential injuries for damian. Damian needs to finished the portal structure by this weekend so Danny could put the actual ghost portal in.

"Do you want to manage the comms tonight then?" Asked Tim. Usually Tim is in charge of it unless Stephenie is home. Tim thought it would help Damian satisfy the need to help.

"Bed rest is best for healing. I need to heal quickly because danyal promise me that we will spar once I fully healed."said Damian. Logically the lie was perfect. It gave motivation and excuse for Damian for being out of character of not jumping at the chance to help with patrols. Tim would had believed it if he wasn't suspicious about Damian and that room.

That lie made Tim even more suspicious because the Wayne's family is known for disregarding Alfred recommendations of bed rest. Damian adding Danny into his lie to make it more believable but the more Tim thought about it. The twins will do anything for each other. They have the skills and tools to do so. So adding Danny into lie makes it imperfect.

"You have been spending a lot of time with Danny lately." Tim states. Damian narrow his eyes in suspicion at Tim. " I understand you are making up for loss time." He adds.

Damian thinks about why his brother is stating this right now. Tim could be jealous that Damian is taking all of Danny time. Damian couldn't help that Danny only wants to be in presence right now. Damian does want Danny to realized how good his siblings are but he isn't going rush his twin. However, Tim is only sibling who didn't welcome Danny with open arms. Damian doesn't understand Tim problem with Danny but he doesn't like it.

"That accurate observation."Damian states.

"But if you are grieving about loss of time. You don't have to hide in that room by yourself."said Tim.

Damian thinks before he answers. If he agrees with that statement, then Tim will snitch to Bruce and his father will smothering him to compensate. But if he disagrees, then Tim will questions why he is in that room.

Damian once again, present himself as weak and vulnerable to protect Danny's secrets.

"You can't understand my pain, drake. So don't pretend that you do."said Damian. He leaves the room to avoid further questioning and attempts awkward comforting from Tim.

Tim watches as Damian leaves. This conversation confirms two things: that Damian is actually capable emotional manipulation and that he is hiding something in that room.

Damian's first mistake was admitting that Tim was right about him grieving in general. Damian won't admit his feelings out right without a fight. Damian's second mistake was rigging that door. Even if Damian was using the grieving excuse, he wouldn't taken the time to rig the door.

Tim just needs to figure out a plan to get in that room.

At the Fenton household

Danny and jazz was deep cleaning the lab. It was a chore that they had to do otherwise it won't get done. Danny floating to scrub the ectoplasm off the wall from the latest chemical explosion. Jazz was mopping the floor. They heard yelling upstairs.

"You can't do this!!!"said Maddie. The siblings looked at each other before rushing upstairs. They went to the living room. There was a case worker talking to Danny's foster parent.

"Ma'am, reunification is the primary goal. The biological parent was separated due to lack of knowledge of the child. His father has been through all security checks. Daniel must reunited with his father."the case worker explained calmly. Danny eyes widen in shock. He thought his father respect his decision to stay in amity park. Danny shock turned into anger when he realized his father disregarded his decision and use the legal system to get his way.

"Not without notice! You can't just come in here and rip this family apart!"said Maddie.

"Ma'am, there was letter sent here two weeks ago stating that a representative will be here to retrieve Daniel and transfer him back home." Said the case worker with slight disappointed look at Maddie. The siblings wasn't surprised that Maddie didn't check the mail. The Fentons never do because it normally it's bill from the city for damages they cause while ghost hunting.

"Daniel."said the case worker when she noticed the teen. " please go pack bag. Everything else can be mail to you at a later date." She explains.

" I don't want to leave." Danny states. The case worker had sympathy for the teen. Saying goodbye is never easy.

"Daniel, please go a pack a bag. We need to be gone in few minutes." She said. Danny storms to his room. He grabbed his phone. He immediately called his twin. Damian should be working on the portal. Danny put the phone on speaker as he started packing a bag.

"Hello?"asked Damian. Danny angrily opened his dresser door.

"Guess your father did?" Asked Danny. Damian could heard the bitterness as Danny sat the word father. Damian didn't even correct him about having the same father.

"What did he do?" Asked Damian as he matched Danny's anger. Danny explained what just happened downstairs. Damian isn't surprised that his father used the legal system to bring Danny home. But the portal isn't ready, Danny literally can't survive in Gotham city long term right now. Bruce is making a huge mistake.

"Can you last until we finish the portal?"asked Damian. Danny stuffed the clothes in his bag.

"Yeah. But I needed the access to this ghost portal to get the infinite realms map from frostbite to even locate the nearest ghost portal!"said Danny. He explains the case worker is waiting on him right now. So he doesn't have time to visit the ghost zone.

"Well, you could absorb the Fenton portal."Damian suggest. Danny stop stuffing the bag with clothes. He thought about the idea. It could work. The Fenton portal is stable. It would help decrease the amount of ghosts getting captured by the ghost hunters. But there one con.

"Once I absorb the portal, frostbite said it could how the same effect of being intoxicated. If I take it now, I will probably feel terrible until I put it on the structure and it's not done." Said Danny. When Danny made this plan, he thought he would absorb the portal while in Gotham and only will feel the effects for few minutes as he travels back to manor. Damian thought also about the risks. Danny need a portal but it will cost his health.

"Can we ask your cousin to bring us the map?"damian suggest. Danny frowns as starts packing some of his books.

"Yeah but she currently traveling. So, she may not respond to my message quickly." Said Danny.

"Text her if she takes too long. We will just steal father's jet plane." Said Damian.  Danny smirks.

"Speaking of your father, I am so going kill him." Said Danny. He zipped up the bag.

"Danyal, you may harm him but you can't kill him. He is still valuable to us."said Damian. Danny anger wavered when he realized Damian loves the family he joined into. He can kill his problem away for once.

"Fine. I guess I will see you in few hours." Said Danny. Damian hummed in acknowledgment before hanging up. Danny went to his closet. He pulled out a case. He opened it has his league uniform and Damian's katana. He grabbed the weapon and concealed in him. He heard a knock at the door.

"Daniel, please hurry up. We have things to do." Said the case worker. He grabbed his bag and opened the door.

" I am ready." He said. He followed the case worker downstairs. Jazz ran to him and hugged him tight.

"Don't forget about me! Text me, okay?" Said jazz as tears ran down her face.

" of course."said Danny as he hugged her tighter. Then jazz let go of her little brother. Maddie hugged Danny. For once Danny actually hug her back. Maddie was bad at parenting but she cared for Danny. Danny let go of her and follow the case worker out of the house. They went to the car. Danny sat in the backseat. He looked at the place he called home for last years. He felt a tear rolling down his face as the car started driving away from the home that made him feel human again.

At the manor

Danny arrived at the manor with scowl on his face. Alfred greet him with slight surprise.

"Welcome back, young Danny."he said. Danny nods in acknowledgment. He gave his bag to Alfred. He went down to the batcave. He went to the portal room. Damian was working on the foundation.

"Let's spar now."said Danny. Damian nods. They went to the training room in the other side of the bat cave. Damian gave Danny a sword.

"Until  first blood?" Damian suggests. Danny agrees. They lunge at each other. Danny wasn't holding back. He attack with no mercy. Damian block and dodge with excitement in his eyes.

"Finally a worthy opponent." Said Damian before attack Danny. Danny rolled out of the way and swung his sword at Damian ankles. Damian jump just in time.

They went back and forth with attacks. Danny has his anger fueling his energy. Damian excitement and joy of having his brother back was fueling his energy. They fought for so long that Damian dripping in sweat. It's been awhile since he had to duel for hours. His body wasn't adjust to anymore. But Damian saw a challenge needing to be conquered.

Danny was getting tired but he couldn't stop now that his twin suddenly got a wave of energy in him. They continued the fight. They were even matched that nobody was able to land the bloody blow. Then tim entered the room. He could hear the clashing of swords when he entered the batcave. He went to check the training room. He was very surprised to see Danny there with Damian.

Danny told them last week that he plans to come visit for Sunday dinner again. He is back early. Tim knew everyone would be happy about this. He watch the twins duel for few moments. They looked tired but determined. He knew that isn't a good combination. Heart the room and went to the weapon storage. He put a gas mask on and grabbed knock out gas. He went to the training room and rolled the canister inside before closing the door. He heard them coughing before fell to the ground unconscious. Suddenly Alfred appeared next to tim.

" I can bring them to their room." Said Alfred. Tim gave him the gas mask. He was about to go to the bat computer when he realized if Damian is in the training room then he isn't in the secret room. Tim went to downstairs and down the hallway where to the room where Damian spent so much time in. When he reached the door, he slowly touch the doorknob and nothing happened. He twisted the knob. It was locked. Tim frowned. He went upstairs to find the tools box when Bruce walked in manor.

"You home early."tim states.

"I was notified that Danny was supposed arrive few hours ago."said Bruce. Tim eye widen when he realized Danny didn't come here suddenly to bond with family. Danny was forced here by the system.

"B, I thought using legal system was plan B."tim states. He thought Bruce listened to dick advice about waiting until Danny got comfortable with family before approaching the topic of Danny living here permanently.

"Tim, that home isn't safe. I could get their daughter remove from that home I would. This is best for Danny."Bruce explains. He started heading towards the stairs. Tim standing in front of him.

"I strongly suggest you talk with Alfred first."said tim. Alfred need to prepare Bruce for the fact that Danny made not happy to removed from his home and how to properly deal with the teen.

If Danny anything likes Damian when it comes to being violent while angry,Bruce shouldn’t be near unless he is prepared. Tim guts is telling him that Danny anger isn't to be underestimated.

"Tim, are you trying to hide something?"asked  Bruce. If tim told him the truth that Danny was probably sparring with Damian as an outlet for his anger. Bruce wouldn't take his advice of leaving the teen alone. But if he continues to stop him from going upstairs, it will only fuel his need to investigate.

Tim didn't have time to make a decision when a knife flew past tim head and at Bruce. Bruce had lean back to avoid the object. Tim looks behind him. Danny was charging at them with sword in hand. Damian was right behind him with his katanas. Tim thought the gas will knock them out for at least a hour. How are they awake right now?!!

Tim moved out of the way. The twins attacked Bruce at the same time. Bruce was having trouble blocking trouble attacks. Bruce was able to pin Damian down. That angered Danny even move. He sliced Bruce bicep. Bruce hissed in pain and his grip on Damian loose for a second. Damian got out his hold and swift at Bruce feet.  Bruce jumped back to avoid it.  Alfred appear with a sleep dart. He shot one at Danny back.  Danny was fine as he continued to swing his sword at Bruce. Alfred shot another at Danny. Nothing happen.

" I will get the sleep gas." Said tim. Then Bruce suddenly grabbed the sword with his bare hand. He snatched it from Danny. Danny tried to punch him but Bruce grabbed his fist and sucker punch Danny on the face. Danny was knock to the ground unconscious. Damian stopped fighting to rush to his brother side.

" give him to the med bay." Said Alfred. They all went to the medical room. Alfred clean and dressed Bruce wounds while Damian was cleaning Danny bloody nose.

"Father, this fight will resume once Danyal wakes up." Said Damian.

"No, because you are grounded. Go to your room." Said Bruce. Damian glared at him.

"You disrespect danyal decision. You forced him out of his home before he was ready. You choose this fight when he went behind his back." Said Damian.

"Go to your room." Said Bruce sternly.

"No." Said Damian.

"Damian." Said Bruce sternly.

"Father." Said Damian in the same tone. Then suddenly damian fainted to the ground with a sleep dart in his shoulder.

"I will bring him to his room." Said tim. He picked up Damian and carry him to his room. He returned back to the medical room. Danny fighting against the restraints on his hands and feet.

"Danny, you weren't safe there." Said Bruce.

"Fuck you! You don't care about my safety! You guilty that you don't know I exist! Shove your fake care up ya ass!" Said Danny.

"Danny, we are your family not them." Said Bruce. He was trying to make Danny understand that he was never meant to with the Fentons in the first place.

" blending families you said? Liar! If you can't stand that I have family that loves me and don't have dependent on your ass backwards love!"said Danny.

"You are angry right now. Once you calm down, we will discuss this topic again."said Bruce.

"I hate you!"said Danny. Bruce left the room. Tim helped Alfred sedate Danny who fighting against the restraints. But none of the sedatives are working on Danny. Alfred had to pinch a nerve on Danny to knock him back out.

"Why didn't the sedatives work?"asked tim.

"I don't know master tim."said Alfred.

At the manor

Danny watched as Alfred took his vital signs as he sat on the bed.  Danny woke up in his own bed few minutes ago. His anger was still burning on the inside but he knew he had to at least pretend to be calm otherwise he won't out these restraints. He had an ankle chain that was anchored to the floor.

"I wanna see Damian." He requested to the butler.

"Master Damian is currently grounded and isn't allow visitors at this time."said Alfred. Danny glared at the bed.

"Why?"asked Danny. Alfred explains that Bruce grounded Damian because he was disobedient. Danny scoffed. Alfred looked at the vital signs then looked at the teen. Danny had abnormally low vitals signs like very low heartbeat. Danny should be on his death bed with these kind of vitals.

"Young master Danny, is a low heartbeat normal for you?"he asked. Damian did mention that Danny blood was special. Maybe Danny is meta human.

"Yes. If you don't believe I will send you my health records ."said Danny. He was about reach for his phone to text his friends to get in contact with frostbite. So frostbite can email his health records. Then he realized he doesn't have it.

"Where is my phone?"asked Danny.

"Master Bruce found it during the fight. I am sure he will return it when he visits you later today."said Alfred. Danny sighs in annoyance. He didn't want to see Bruce right now. He need his phone. He texted his cousin Dani, when he was on plane ride here. He need to respond before she gets busy again.

"When is he coming?"asked Danny.

"Before dinner."said Alfred. Danny nods. " but you must be starving by now. I will make you a light meal until then."he adds. Danny raised an eyebrows. He doesn't need food to survive due to his ghost side.

"How long was I sleeping?"asked Danny.

"About a day and half."said Alfred. Danny heart dropped to his feet. His cousin definitely texted back by now and he missed his window of time to respond back. Alfred left.

Danny sat up in bed. He looked at the chain around his ankle. He could just phase out of it but then it will raise questions. He would have to do it the old fashion way. He look around the bed from something to get to pick the lock. He noticed the decorative photo of the moon above his bed. He took the photo of the wall to expose the nails. He took one then place the photo back carefully to balance it on the other nails. He used the nail to pick the lock. He able to free his ankle in seconds. Then he heard footsteps approaching the door. He covered his feet with the blanket. Then Tim walked in with a sandwich.

"Alfred, said you was up. How are you feeling?"asked Tim before placing the plate on the bed.

"What are you the family therapist?"asked Danny coldly. Tim ignored the his tone.

"No. That's Alfred job. "He said. Then he sighs before continuing. "Damian has been giving B the silent treatment." He states. He explains that Damian has been ignoring Bruce during meals and when he visits his room.

"Good."said Danny.

"Since Damian has been in his room, he was unable to work on the project."said Tim. Danny eyes narrowed at him. He isn't dumb, he knows his twin would never tell Tim. Tim is reaching for answers.

"Thank you for the sandwich. But you can leave now."said Danny. Tim raised an eyebrow.

"Why? What's the rush?"said Tim. He looks at Danny's legs that was covered with the blanket. He took a seat on the bed.

"Get off my bed." Said Danny. Tim was about speak when Alfred walks in.

"Master Danny, I have just have informed that master Bruce had to leave to deal with a crime. He won't be returning until later tonight." Said Alfred.

"Oh no I am devastated." Said Danny flatly. Alfred nods before leaving. Danny got out of bed. Tim rolled his eyes as he noticed the unlock chain.

"Where you going?"asked Tim. Danny ignored his question. He left his room. Tim followed after him. Danny went to Damian room. Danny clicked his tongue loudly. Within seconds Damian opened the door.  Damian looked relieved to see Danny but he immediately looked annoyed at Tim.

"I need my phone. Where would your father hide it?"asked Danny. Damian thought about it for a moment.

"Probably his office." Said Damian. He lead the way. Tim followed them to the office. They search the room while Tim watch from the doorway.

"Danny, if you need to make a call. We have a house phone."said Tim.

"Don't you have somewhere to be?"asked Danny coldly. Damian glared at him.

"You are not need here." Said Damian. Tim was about argue that he has free range of the house when Danny felt a cold sigh left his lips. His eyes widened. Suddenly skulker appeared.

"You making this chase so easy!"said skulker. He aimed his gun at Danny. Danny rolled out the way when the hunter blasted at him.

"We gotta go!"said Danny. Damian didn't argue for once and grabbed Tim as they all ran out the room. Skulker followed at them. Danny lead them to a random room. Tim looked very confused while Damian looked concerned.

"Shut up and I will answer your questions afterwards."said Danny to Tim. Before Tim could ask what's happening, Danny grabbed them. He turned them intangible. They went through the floor to a storage room in the batcave.

"That's so weird." Said Tim. He looks at the ceiling that just went through without harm. Danny left the room. They followed after him. Danny went to weapon room. Damian went to box that had the ghost weapons. Damian gave him a ecto blaster gun.

"What happened to the no guns?"asked Danny.

"That's for humans. For other beings, B has a little bit of gray area."Tim explains. Danny sighs in annoyance.

"Great. I went from living with an executor to another."mumbled Danny. Damian gave Tim a ghost thermo.

"Wait why do you two have guns and I got the capture weapon?"asked Tim. Danny felt a cool sigh from his lips.

"We gotta move!"said Danny. They left the room and went to the training room.

"Why are we running?"asked Tim. They have weapons now. They should be attacking head on.

"As the only ghost hunter here, you shouldn't question me." Said Danny. Tim roll his eyes. They wait for skulker to show. Once he appeared Danny immediately used the blaster. Skulker slammed into the wall.

"Tim now!"said Danny. Tim open the thermo. He stumbled back from the suction. He aim it at the hunter ghost. The machine suck him. Tim looked amazed. Danny took the thermo from him.

"Now my questions."said Tim with a smirk. Danny mumbled a few swear words.

In the training room

"Now my questions."said Tim with a smirk. Danny mumbled a few swear words.

"First I need my phone." Danny admits. Tim agrees. They put the weapons back in storage before going to Bruce office. They searched the whole office.

"It's not here." Said Damian. He closes the cabinet.

"Why do you need your phone anyways? You can just use someone else."said Tim. He place the books back on the shelf.

"I can't. My friend program special hardware on it so we can communicate on a secure line."Danny explains. That was technically the truth, Danny had infuse ecto onto the phone to be able to use while in the ghost zone and when he is a ghost.

"We can use the Bat computer. It has power to decode any program."said Tim. Tim had good hacking skill to help. Danny looks at Damian.

"It's true."said Damian. But he knew the computer never had to deal with ghost technology before. He wasn't going admit that before Danny could even say his secret first. If Danny wanted to prolong the discussion, Damian will play along.

"I need my phone."said Danny.

"We can just wait until B get home."said Tim.

"No!"said the twins. They say no for two different reasons. Damian didn't want another lecture about visiting Danny while grounded. Bruce specifically told him that when Damian woke up from being sedated. Meanwhile danny was saying no because this time sensitive. He needs to contact Dani for help for portal to even stay healthy in Gotham.

"Fine."said Tim. Then they went to search Bruce bedroom. They still didn't find it. They was about to go search the bat cave when Alfred announced that it's time for dinner.

The three of them sat at the table. Tim didn't even touch his utensils before speaking.

"How did you get your powers?"asked Tim directly. Danny sighs when he realizes he can't prolong the discussion any longer unfortunately.

"You can't tell anybody what I am going to tell you."said Danny. Tim hesitated before agreeing. Danny holds up his pinkie. Tim look at him with raised eyebrow.

"Really?"asked Tim.

"If you break a Pinkie promise, your pinkie is cut off."said Danny with a threatening tone.

"I volunteer to cut it."said Damian with smirk. Tim link pinkies with Danny.

"I got my powers when I died."said Danny. Tim looked at him briefly with disbelief before rolling his eyes.

"That's not funny."said Tim. Danny transformed in front of Tim eyes. Danny glowing green eyes was staring back at Tim who jaw dropped.

"Explain."said Tim as his curiosity took over. Danny transformed back before speaking. He starts his explanation with he is halfa.

Tim remain quiet as Danny explains what is it and how his powers are very standard for ghosts. Tim listened attentively. He was absorbing all the information to file in mind. But once Danny starts explaining how ghost normally made. Tim grew concerned.

"Wait, if ghost are made because they die with unfinished business. How you are not fully ghost?"asked Tim. Danny took a deep breath to control the urge to hit him.

"I rather not talk about my death." Said Danny sternly. Tim nodded. " never ask a ghost how they died. It will not end well." He adds.

"But aren't ghosts just single train minded beings?"asked Tim. Danny hates that Tim read the Fenton research.

"That's wrong." Said Danny. He explains that Fentons research is incorrect because he interacts with ghosts more than them. He knows ghost behavior better than them especially since he able to do to the ghost zone.

Tim has questions about the ghost zone but his concern for Danny safety was more important.

"You were living with people who would kill you!"said Tim. Damian was happy that somebody else can understand what he was feeling about that. Danny didn't see a problem with it because he prioritize his citizens of ghost zone and amity park. Danny shrugs.

"The league is same."Danny states.

"Danyal live there because of the environment. He needs ecto."said Damian. He omits the part where Danny rules the infinite realm easily because there was a ghost zone in amity park. He instead explains that Danny needs ectoplasm to survive and he can only receive from air or portal.

"Portal! That's what you two are building!"said Tim. The twins nod. " why hide it if you need it? Why not tell B?" He asks. Damian looked at Danny.

"The ghost laws are nonexistent. So if things went south, I can be subject to experiments for rest of my life."said Danny. Damian frowns. Danny explains that the laws were made based on the Fenton bad research.

Tim was about to speak when Alfred walks in. He looks at the children with a stern look.

"Eat your dinner before it gets cold."said Alfred. They agreed and started eating. Alfred left. After they finished eating, they went to the batcave to search for Danny phone. Tim found it in one of the cabinets with case files. He gave it to Danny.

Danny has to wait for the phone to fully power on before checking his messages. Dani didn't text back which good and bad. It's good that he didn't miss her text but it bad because he needs a portal very soon.

"She didn't text back." Said Danny to Damian. Tim look confused.

"My cousin." Said Danny. Tim tries to remember if the twins have a cousin in their family tree.

"She is a part of my foster family tree." Danny lies. Genetically, Dani is identical to Damian and Danny. Danny doesn't want to even think about how weird science is.

Danny frown when he realizes. Legally they not his first family anymore, they just people he knows. " I guess now ex family tree." He jokes with smile that wasn't genuine.

"Let's work on the portal." Said Damian to change the subject. They went to the portal room.  They worked in silence as Danny mind race with theories as why skulker was sent to Gotham.

All his theories had the same person involved. Vlad masters.

In the Wayne manor

Danny sat in bed while Bruce stood next to the bed. Bruce tells to explain that removing Danny from the Fenton care was done due to safety. But Danny didn't care. He just let the words enter one ear and out the other.

Alfred gave Danny a subtle warning that Bruce may allow him out of the room if he listens to his father. Danny is being nice by remain silent. There were a lot of words he could be screaming at Bruce right now. Damian ,who is at school right now,would be proud at his patient to listen to his father bullshit.

"Danny, I have to go to work but when I come back, I will discuss the next steps."said Bruce. Danny looked at him blankly. Bruce left the room. Danny was about to leave when Tim walked in.

"Don't you have work to be at?"asked Danny.

"B thinks you are a flight risk so he told me to keep an eye on you."said Tim. Danny kinda misses having neglectful parents. Now he has to actually plot and scheme around Bruce's parenting.

"Well, you can't stop me from leaving."Danny states cockily. He purposely flashed his green glowing eyes at him. Tim looked intrigued.

"You can access your powers regardless of your form." Tim states. Danny understands that Tim is curious and wants to know everything about his ghost powers. But he doesn't like all the questions. He feels like he is about to get experimented on.

"Look, I have things to do. You can work on the portal if you want to be helpful."said Danny. Tim raised an eyebrow.

"What's more important than working on the portal?"asked Tim.

"None of your business." Said Danny.

"You are my brother. Your business is my business." Tim stated. Danny scoffs.

" I am your brother now because it's convenient. Where was this 'brotherhood' when I arrived at the manor."Danny said. He narrowed his eyes at other.  "Oh right, nonexistent because your stalker ass don't understand boundaries." He adds. Tim clenched his jaw.

"Aw you mad now? Cry me river and drown in it." Said Danny. Tim took a deep breath before speaking.

"I was just being cautious. I was protecting my family from a potential threat. You would had done the same." Said Tim. Tim did have a good point. Danny is protective over his friad. But he doesn't like implication that he is danger to his twin.

" I would never hurt Damian."said Danny. He remembers what lady Gotham told him. He broken Damian heart when he died. " intentionally." He adds.

"I didn't know that. And it didn't help that you were keeping a lot of secrets especially a whole aspect of your life from us." Said Tim. Danny didn't even tell him about being ghost king and superhero in amity park yet.

Danny disregards Tim comment. He walks past him to left the room. Tim follows behind him. Danny was about yelled at him for following when Alfred spoke.

"Master Danny, there are guest for you in the living room." Said Alfred. Danny was slightly suspicious. His friends are unable to visit him. His foster parents shouldn't be able to visit him due to custody restrictions.

"What they look like?"asked Danny.

"Young female with blue eyes and black hair."said Alfred. Tim thinks Alfred was description very vague in his opinion because it could easily be one of his sisters. But Danny immediately knew who it was. He ran to the living room.

Danielle was in sitting on the couch. She immediately sense him when he got near.she leaped into his arms. Danny hugged her.

"Hey Ellie." He said before ending the hug. " why are you here?" He asked. Danielle looked at Tim with suspicion.

"Hi, I am Tim. You must be his cousin he talks about it." He said with a polite smile. Danielle immediately punch him in the gut. Tim was shock at power behind the punch. He actually stumbled back a little from the punch.

"That's for bullying my big cuz."said Danielle. The two half ghosts text sparely but Danny doesn't talk high of Tim when referring to his new siblings.

"Ellie, he is tolerable now." Said Danny. Tim smile slightly. Danny forgives him for his behavior but Tim has a long way to be a friend in Danny mind.

"He is tolerable" mocks Danielle in a robotic voice. Danny rolls his eyes playfully.

"Nice to meet you Ellie."said Tim. Danielle looked at him with slight disdain.

"Who say we are cool? Don't talk to me." Said Danielle. She looks at her cousin. " can we talk privately?"she asked. Danny thought about for a moment. There nowhere in manor where Tim won't eavesdrop from. Tim can listen in from the camera or just listen from the closed door. They can't go outside since Tim was use the excuse that Danny is a flight risk and needs supervision.

"You are hungry?"asked Danny. Danielle loves to eat. She agrees without hesitation. "Tell Alfred what you want, he will make it." He adds. He points in the direction of the kitchen. Danielle knows her cousin is trying to make her leave the room. She isn't stupid but she allows it because she is little hungry. She leaves the room. Danny turns Tim with a serious look.

"Don't ask any questions about Ellie or I will purposely turn invisible and leave." Danny threatens. It's empty threat because Danny has to reserve all ecto he can right now and can't waste it on petty things. But Tim doesn't know that. Tim is still trying to learn about ghost and what's actually correct from the ghost research online.

"Sure." Said Tim. He knows how to gather information without direct questions. Danny was suspicious about how fast Tim agreed it to his terms but he can't focus on it right now. He needs to get the portal functional.

They went to the dining room. Danielle was sitting in Damian's usual seat. In front her was plates of sandwiches. Alfred grabbed the empty plates was stacked next Danielle.

"It's amazing!"she said as she hold the sandwich in her hands. Danny chuckles.

"You traveled a long distance to reach here. You should enjoy your reward." Said Tim. Danielle ate a lot of sandwiches of 5 mins of them talking in the living room. She must to be starving or meta human. Tim knew the hero flash needs to eat a lot more than the average due to extreme metabolism. Tim isn't sure about a ghost metabolism but Danny eats an average amount.

Danny didn't like he could see Tim analyzing Danielle. He needs to quickly get her out of here before Tim figures out anything about her.

"Ellie, you got my text right? Can you do it?"asked Danny. Tim tries not scowl. Tim doesn't have access to Danny phone. He tried multiple times but whatever program danny's friend did is good software against hacking.

"Yeah. But that's not the reason I am here." Danielle explains. She placed the sandwich down. "Your uncle is coming to town." She said. She tried not have disgust in her voice when she said uncle. Danielle doesn't even like acknowledgment that man as her creator. She is barely acknowledging that Danny is genetically her father.

"When?"asked Danny.

"Soon." Said Danielle.

"Traveling alone must had be scaring for you."Tim states. Danielle may have her own personality and mind but she is still a part of Danny. Danny learnt to control his anger and not to fall into rage bait traps. Danielle hasn't been on this earth to learn that.

"Scared? I ain't scared. I traveled all the time around the world. I know how to take care of myself. Thank you very much!" Said Danielle.

"Ellie, finish your sandwich."Danny said. He hoped that Danielle would translate that to shut up.

"You not the boss of me!"said Danielle with sass. Danny wanted to slapped Tim. Danielle had attitude now because he poke her. She doesn't listen well when she had an attitude. There only two solutions to his problem: wait it out which could take days or fight her and allow her to release the anger that bubbling in her. Danny can't fight her because he needs his ghost powers. But he doesn't have time to wait it out either.

"You like are 7 years old. You should listen to your elders." Said Tim. Danielle stood up in anger.

"I am not!! I am 12 yrs old! That's practically an adult!"said Danielle.

"Actually it's not." Tim states. Danielle was about to start arguing with him when Damian walks in.

"Arguing with guest, drake. That's impolite." Said Damian. He was informed that Alfred was busy attending to a guest at manor and couldn't pick him up from school. So Stephanie had to come drive him home from school.

"Aki, this is Ellie." Said Danny. Danielle looked at Damian up and down. Damian raised an eyebrow at her.

"That's sounds like a nickname."said Damian.

"No duh." Said Danielle. Damian rolled his eyes at her childish behavior.

"I will be in library doing my homework. So please keep the noise down." Said Damian. He looks at Danielle." I could hear you from the front foyer." He adds

"Keep the noise down."mocked Danielle. Damian shook his head slight disappointment before leaving the room.

"Let me walk you to the door."said Danny to his cousin. She pouts before following him. They went to the foyer when Stephanie walks out of the bathroom.

"Hi Danny. Who is this pretty girl?"asked Stephanie. Danielle smiles brightly at the compliment.

"This is my cousin who is on tight schedule and has to leave right now."said Danny. Stephanie pouts as Danny guides Danielle towards the door.

"Are you taking the bus? I can drive you to the nearby bus stop."said Stephanie. There was no car in driveway when she arrived.

"No thank you. I rather walk."said Danielle. She needs to get the favor done so she can go back to traveling. She left the manor. Stephanie chased after her but by the time she made it outside Danielle was gone.

"She probably ran. She doesn't like being late."said Danny uses as excuse. Stephanie didn't buy it but that's the only explanation she thought of right now.

Unbeknownst to them, Tim was currently sitting at the batcomputer watching the surveillance cameras as Danielle took a running sprint before vanishing. Tim updates his file for Danny. He adds cousin in the family relations section. He adds next to the title, ghost.

At the Wayne manor

After Danielle left, Stephanie looked at Danny who wasn't concerned about his cousin safety.

"You should text her to be sure that she made it to the bus stop. Gotham is dangerous especially for girls."said Stephanie.

"I will."said Danny before walking away. Stephanie went to looking for Tim for information about this cousin. Tim was in the batcave when Stephanie found him.

"Have you met Danny's cousin?"asked Stephanie. Tim nods.

"She came to visit Danny because she missed him."said Tim. Stephanie hesitate before speaking. It's good that Danny isn't losing any family connection and this proof that two family merger is working. But her gut is telling her that the cousin is suspicious. She doesn't want to share light on it because Tim may use this a reason to continue to distrust Danny.

Tim knew exactly what Stephanie was thinking. So he spoke words that will ease her mind without giving way his own suspicions about ellie.

"Ellie is related to Danny from his foster family. They technically can't be in contact due to the reunification period. So she is just acting suspicious because she afraid of getting in trouble."Tim explains. The reunification period rule is usually not enforce when the child is a teen due teens will do what they feel is right. Tim read all about the foster system when he found Danny was in it.

"Oh."she said with a slight frown. Tim nods. " that probably why she ran away so fast."she concludes.

"Ran away?"tim with fake confusion. Stephanie told him what happened at the foyer.

"Where is Danny now?"asked Tim.

"Babysitter duty?"she asks. Tim nods.

"He was heading towards the bedrooms last I saw him." She said. She looked at the time. She had to leave. She has an hair appointment to go.

"Later timbo!"she said before leaving. Tim goes to Damian room first. Danny answers the door.

"Don't let him in."said Damian. He was sitting on the bed.

"Family trees are easy to search."said Tim. Danny looked unfazed. "You are either lazy or dumb if you think I won't fact check." He adds. Danny jaws clenched before moving aside to allow Tim to enter. Damian grabbed the sword from wall behind his bed. He points at his older brother.

"Drake, if you keep slandering Danyal. I won't hesitate to make you bleed."said Damian. Tim was unfazed by the threat. Damian hasn't purposefully injured a family members in years. Well except few days with that fight with Bruce and Danny.

"What do you know?"asked Danny. He folds his arms.

"Ellie is a ghost. She flew here that how she was able to travel so quickly. She had a large appetite due to her abilities. She literally turn invisible when she left."said Tim. The twins share a look of hesitation.

"I can keep your secret safe. Like just now, Steph was asking about Ellie. I didn't give any information and use more logical explanations."said Tim.

"Drake, if the wrong person finds out that Danyal is a halfa. He will be at the hands of the government."said Damian in a serous tone.

"Yeah. I know. I read about anti ecto laws after our conversation about ghosts."said Tim. He was looking for loopholes in it but he couldn't find any. Danny joined Damian in the bed.

"Ellie is family just not my human family. Her name Danielle." Said Danny.

"How is she ghost family?"asked Damian. Tim was little shocked that Damian didn't know already. Damian gets to know first in the family.

"She is um she is my clone."said Danny. Tim eyes widened while Damian eyes narrowed.

"Was it grandfather?"asked Damian. Danny quickly shook his head.

"It was my nemesis. He was trying to created a perfect clone of me to defeat me but failed. Ellie was the only clone that survived but her creator still labeled her imperfect because she is younger than me and a girl."Danny explains. Danny doesn't like Ellie origin story but he is happy with the cousin he got.

"Vlad masters."growled Damian. He remembers that guy who kidnapped him because he wanted Danny to train under him.

"But that doesn't explain who you two are family? It sounds like you two should be enemies."said Tim. He took a mental note to search the name later.

"She realized Vald didn't love her and was just using her. Our bond grew because our hatred of him. We call ourselves cousins for simplicity." Said Danny.

"We have more than enough rooms here if she wants to stay."said Tim. Danny shook his head.

"She doesn't like being in one place for too long. She loves traveling."said Danny. Tim was about speak when there a knock on the door.

"Master Danny, master Bruce just arrived. I am going to greet him."said Alfred. Danny smiles. He definitely likes Alfred. He hugs Damian.

"Later."said Danny before leaving. Damian look at Tim who was still standing in his room.

"Your invitation is now invalid."said Damian.

"No good bye hug for me?"teased Tim. Damian glared at him.

"Out."growled Damian.

At the Wayne manor

The large family gather around the table for Sunday dinner. Stephanie was telling a funny story about what happened few days.

"- then he realized he forgot left shoe."said Stephanie. Dick and Stephanie. Everyone else wasn't entertained. She was about scolding them for understanding comedy when Bruce spoke.

"Damian, pass the salt please."said Bruce. Damian continued to eat like he didn't hear a word. He asked Danny instead. Danny grabbed the small glass salt shaker from the middle of the table. He was about to pass out to Bruce when suddenly shaker broke in Danny hand. Danny open his hand to allow the salt and pieces to fall onto the table next to Bruce hand. Jason tried not laugh.

"Alfred."said Bruce. He request salt from the butler.

"Steph as you were saying."said Bruce.

"Actually it's Damian turn. How were your week?"asked Stephanie. She turned to her side to face to Damian.

"I was a prisoner with no visitation."said Damian.

"I visited."Tim points out. Damian rolled his eyes.

"You were unwelcome guest."said Damian.

"Beggars can't be choosers."teased Tim.

"Yes they can."Jason states. Jason works with homeless populations all the time. He knows for a fact.

"B, when you releasing Damian from prison?"asked dick. He had plans to hang out with the twins this upcoming weekend.

"I am still deciding."said Bruce. Damian scoffed.

“he is procrastinating” signed Cassandra. Everyone agreed while Bruce ignored her comment.

"Danny, how were your week?"asked Stephanie. Danny looked at Tim.

"You should ask my designated babysitter because someone doesn't trust me not run away after ripping me apart from the family I known for years."said Danny. He glared at Bruce.

"Danny, we talk about this." Said Bruce. Danny gripped on his spoon tighten. He took a deep breath to calm down.

"Aki, do you heard that annoying sound?"asked Danny.

"Yeah. It's very annoying."Damian agrees. Jason laughs. Stephanie chuckles. Dick looked at Bruce with disappointment. Tim look at Bruce with a I-told-you look. Then a cold breath escape Danny's lips.

"I am going to the bathroom."said Danny abruptly. He left quickly. Tim looks at Damian with slight concern. Damian looked unfazed but he also concern for Danny. They heard a loud explosion from outside. Everyone geared up before running to the garden.

Phantom was fighting plasmius in the air. The family tried to analyze the situation. Jason shot at ghosts but they were unbothered it.

"Those are ghosts. We need the ghost weapons."said dick. Tim stopped him by placing his arm out.

"That phantom from amity park. He is hero. He can handle this." Said Tim.

"It's better to be prepared. I never met phantom. He is now in our territory without permission. We need to prepare for anything. Nightwing, Red Robin go get the weapons." Said Bruce. Dick and Tim ran inside the manor.

"Spoiler and black bat go find Danny. He keep him inside." Said Bruce. Damian broken his 4 days of ignoring his father to protect his brother.

"Actually father, I will go find Danyal."said Damian. He ran towards the house before Bruce could stop him.

"You didn't think I came alone did you?"said Plasmius. Some more ghosts appear next to him. Danny starts blasting the ghosts.

Dick and Tim came back with the blaster and thermo. Tim opened the container and skulker was released. Danny groaned when he forgot he had a ghost in there already. Danny couldn't release skulker back because he didn't have a portal. Now Danny gotta deal with an angry hunter ghost, a ghost who getting revenge for bringing his love cry and his army.

Dick tried blast the ghosts but the ghosts were good at dodging it. Bruce took the blaster from dick. He was able to hit few ghosts but ghosts kept standing back up. Cassandra, Stephanie and Tim was looking at thermo to see what wrong with it.

Damian ran back outside. He went to his father.

"Danyal is in the bat cave. He promised not to leave." Said Damian. Bruce didn't look convinced. " he doesn't break his promises." He said sternly.

Danny continued to fight but each blast was knocking the energy out of him. He was running on fumes. The thing that kept him going was that he needs to protect his family.

"If I can't have my family, neither can you!"said Plasmius. He blasted the ecto at Tim. Danny flew over and created a shield. Tim turned around from the device in his hands. The ghost teen look tired as he held the shield up as Plasmius sent rapid ecto attacks. Plasmius ordered the other ghosts the bats. The bats tried to fight them but there were no used. Danny tried to each single ghost. His limbs were shaking from exhaustion. He had sweat dripping down his face. He needed to protect them and any cost.

Danny flew into the air. He took a deep breath. He released the loud wail ever. The trees shook as the sound waves knock out each ghost. It knocked the vigilantes off their feet. The sound waves echo for miles. Car alarms went off, power lines were fell over and building shook.  The bats watched in shock at the teen ghost. They shocked turned into horror when the ghost transformed to their younger brother before falling out of the sky. Jason was the closest and caught him in his arm. Everyone gather around while Jason tried to woke up the teen. Danny was unconscious. Stephanie checked Danny pulse.

"No pulse." Said Stephanie. Jason placed Danny on the ground to start chest compression. Damian was the first one on Danny chest. Jason went to get Alfred. Bruce went to find a AED inside. Dick and Cassandra went to go get a  gurney.

Damian heart was pounding out of his out chest as he continued to do chest compression. Danny can't die again! He just got his brother back! Tears filled his eyes as his mind whirl with all the things they didn't get to do yet. They never got to celebrate the holidays together. They never got to celebrate their birthday together. Damian was so lost in thought that he didn't even noticed he broke his twin rib while during compressions. It wasn't until dick and Bruce was pulling Damian off his brother that Alfred was able to shock Danny heart back. They moved Danny to the medical bay. Alfred kicked everyone out so he could work. So all attention was on the crying teen.

"Damian, he will fine. But if you know something that can help us understand his physiological condition. Now is the time."said Bruce.

"Now is not the time."dick hissed as place a hand on Damian shoulder. Damian look up at his father.

"You right. I do know something. I know that Danny would have been in perfect health if he stayed in amity park but no! You purposely disregard that due to your own guilt! YOU KILLED DANYAL!"yelled Damian. He lunged at Bruce. Jason, Tim, and dick has to hold him back. "I HATE YOU!"he screamed. It echoes through the bat cave.

In the bat cave

There a deafening silence after words echo. That's phrase should had enter one of Bruce 's ears and out the other. But instead the words floated around his head. Bruce and Damian relationship began on a rough start but through time it got better.

It been years since all of the family heard Damian actually have some bite to his words. So that may explain why Bruce felt saddened by his son words. Fortunately, Alfred enter the tense room with ease.

"Master Danny is now stable."said Alfred. Damian snatched his arms out of his brothers hold. He ran to be at Danny side. Everyone followed behind him.

Danny was laying peacefully in the bed with a heart monitor on. Damian stood next to him. He gently pets his twin head. Danny's slow heartbeat filled the room.

"Poor Danny."mumbled Stephanie.

"Alfred, why is his heartbeat so slow?" Asked dick. Alfred subtly looked at the twins before answering.

"Patient doctor confidentiality."Alfred explains.

"He is apparently a meta human. You can at least give us a general explanation based on his meta type." Said dick. Alfred remain firm in his reasoning.

"Danyal isn't a meta." Damian admits quietly. Dick cringe slightly. He pats Damian shoulder. Damian is in denial but the family doesn't have time to fix that.

"Titles isn't important right now. Getting him better is important right now."said dick. Damian noticed the empathetic voice that dick was using. Damian shrugged his hand off his shoulder.

"Danyal isn't a meta. He is ghost. Him being a ghost is important to why he is like this now!"said Damian. The family immediately starts asking questions. Damian ignored all of them. " if you want all the details about him ask Drake. I am sure he has a file." He adds. He looks at Tim. Tim looks unfazed.

"But right now, Danyal need ectoplasm. He probably depleted the little he had." Said Damian with a frown.

"Where do we find that? "signed Cassandra.

"For the environment that has natural ecto in air or from a ghost portal. Thanks to dear old father, Danyal was cut off from amity park where there was a natural ecto. Unfortunately we don't know if there any ghost portal in Gotham." Said Damian. Bruce felt guilty.

"Then what? We just wait until he dies again?"hissed Jason. Damian didn't want his twin to die but didn't have a plan. But Tim did.

"I think it's time to call his cousin."said Tim. Damian realized what Tim plan was. It was unsteady plan but at least a plan

"Cousin?"asked Bruce.

"Long story."said Tim. Damian went to Danny room to look for his phone. He found it on the nightstand charging. He took it off the charger and enter the code he see Danny do a million times. He goes to the contacts to find his cousin. He calls the phone number and hopes she answers. The longer the phone rings, the more Damian began losing hope. Then Ellie answers.

Ellie: Danny, I am fine. You don't need call me eve-
Damian: Danielle, I need your wisdom and guidance
Ellie: where is Danny?
Damian: sick. He needs ecto.
Ellie: I am on my way!

She ended the call. He tried to call her back for an estimated time but he was send to voicemail. Damian pocket the phone before going to find his family. The family was gather in the batcave around the bat computer. Tim was finding the information about Danny.

"But how did he become a ghost?"asked Jason. Tim shrugged.

"You not should ask ghosts how they died."said Damian. His family noticed his presence.

"So you don't know either."state Stephanie. Damian changed the topic. Danny death story isn't his to tell.

"His cousin, Danielle, is coming to help."said Damian.

"What's her eta?"asked Tim. Damian shrugged.

"She didn't say."said Damian.

"In the meantime, care to explain why you going to set the ghost portal here."said Bruce. Tim is usually all knowing with information but for once isn't. Damian tries explaining that how ghost portal are made naturally vs man made. The family listen attentively as the youngest talks about progress of building one.

"We are missing one last thing, an actual ghost portal. Danyal was trying to locate one to absorb and bring here before we got grounded."said Damian. He glared at Bruce. Bruce doesn't regret grounding them for fighting him.

"Where is it?"asked dick. Tim only mentioned it during his questioning. Damian led downstairs and through the long hallway. He stopped at a door. He looked at Jason.

"Todd, it would be high preferred if you don't enter."said Damian. Bruce and dick remember why this door is familiar while Stephanie and Cassandra looked concern.

"Open the door, gremlin."hissed Jason. Damian opened the door. Everyone immediately noticed the big opening of a tunnel with metal framing. Everyone walk closer to look at the inside. The tunnel was made of metals and wires.

"What the fuck?"growled Jason. Everyone looked at Jason who is staring at his tombstone.

"Jason, it just for memory of you."Bruce explains. Jason scoffed.

"This is why you guys never noticed my body getting snatched from the grave. Because you never actually visiting my grave!!"said Jason. Bruce step forward. Jason stormed out. Dick follows after him.

"sad Jason."signed Cassandra. Tim nods. Cassandra went to go find Jason. Tim and Stephanie went back to the bat computer. Tim show her anti ecto laws. Damian went to his twin bed side. He took a sit. He stared at Danny chest slowly rising and falling. He wished he would built the portal quicker. He wished he would had just took him back to amity park regarding of what CPS law says. He wished he could help him in his time of need.

Danny helped Damian when he was sick and Damian can't repay him. He frowns.

"He isn't dying."said a voice. Damian looked away from Danny. Ellie was standing by the door with a backpack on. She was wearing a blue hoodie and shorts.

"Ghost can't die especially powerful ones like Danny."said Ellie. Damian raised an eyebrow.

"He is still half human."said Damian. He can still die.

"Long as his ghost core still remains in him. He will never die. He only likes this because his core reserving the last of the ecto from leaving."explains Ellie. She placed her bag on the bed by Danny feet.

"Carefully."said Damian. Ellie rolled her eyes. She took out a box that was glowing green.

"Frostbite told this should help restore him enough so he can move out of the bed. He also told me to tell Danny that he need to see him immediate once he enter the ghost zone."said Ellie. She unbox a IV kit and bag filled with ectoplasm.

"Where's that butler of yours?" Asked Ellie. She doesn't know how to set up a IV or IV pump. Damian thought for a moment before shrugging.

"Actually I don't know." Said Damian. Then suddenly, the door opens Alfred walks in.

"I heard you need my assistance."said Alfred. Ellie nods. Alfred starts places IV in Danny's arm. He was setting up the IV pump when Damian spoke.

"How long until he is better?"asked Damian to Ellie. Ellie shrugs.

"I was rushing so frostbite didn't give me the minor details."said Ellie. They watched at the ecto flow through the tube from the bag to Danny arm. " you better wake up soon because I am not being queen again." She threats but Damian could heard the sadness underneath.

At the bat cave, med bay

Damian and Ellie were standing around the bed when dick walked in. He was surprised to see Ellie.

"When did you arrive?"asked dick with slight confusion. Ellie looked at Damian with a question look. Damian shook his head.

"Doesn't matter."said Ellie. She explained what treatment she gave to Danny.

"Who is frostbite and how do you have access to the ghost zone?"asked dick. Ellie ignored his questions.

"Where is vlad?"asked Ellie.

"Tim captured him into the thermos."said duck. Ellie nods. She walked past dick and out of the room. Dick look at Damian for answers.

"Just be glad she helped."said Damian. He took a seat next to the bed. He sat at Danny bedside for hours waiting. His brothers check in periodically to see if Danny got better. According to Alfred, Danny is stable but not improving or worsening. Damian can't decide it that better or worse than being only stable.

Ellie never returned but Tim informed Damian that she was last seen leaving the manor. Damian was the only one who remain at Danny's side.

Damian looked at his brother resting peacefully. He looks at Danny's chest that slowly rises and falls. The soft beeping of the heart monitor echo in the quiet room.  He heard someone enter the room but he doesn't look away.

"Master Damian, you should eat."said Alfred. Damian barely ate anything. He barely moved from this spot in fear of his twin actually flatlining. He knew logical Danny couldn't die but his heart ache at the thought losing him again even for a moment.

Damian skipped school and night parole. Bruce didn't even attempt to speak to Damian about it. Damian is glad because he get angry each time he look at his father then at Danny. Damian wants to fight him again but he restraints himself because Danny and him silently agreed to fight him together. Damian isn't going to fight that battle alone.

Alfred placed the plate on the side table near Damian. He pick up the barely torched sandwich from yesterday. Alfred looks at the teen with sympathy. He left the room silently. Dick entered the room few minutes later.

Dick sat next to Damian who didn't even glance in his direction. The older one place a hand on the teen. Damian didn't even try to shrug it off.

"He will be fine."said dick. Damian jaw clenched in frustration. They were supposed to grow up together. They were become best assassins side by side. Danny wouldn't even be in this ghost mess if Damian would have died that night.

"I should had died."mumbled Damian. Dick looked concerned.

"What are you talking about?"asked dick. Damian look at him with sorrow in his eyes.

"Grandfather was trying to kill me. Danyal switch me that night because he wants to prove a point to me. Grandfather wanted to kill me but Danyal suffered instead."said Damian. He folded his arms as he felt his throat tightened up. He look away from dick as he took a deep breath to reel back the tears forming in his eyes.

"Danyal save me twice and I never return to favor."said Damian sadly. Dick pats Damian's shoulder.

"That's what brothers do. We take care of one of another. I am pretty sure you took good care of Danny when you were younger that he was just returning the favor."dick explains.

"With his life."said Damian.

"Some people are just worth dying for."said dick. Damian brush his older brother hand off his shoulder.

"He didn't need to die."Damian explains.

"We can't change the past."said dick. Damian glared at him.

"You didn't think I know that! For 5 years, I been thinking I killed my own twin! And when I finally got him back, I killed him again by not protecting him!"said Damian. His fist clenched at his side.

"You did the best you could."said dick. Damian scoffed.

"Apparently my best isn't good enough."said Damian. Dick was at loss for words. He knew the teen has perfectionist tendencies from his time at the league. There was nothing he could say to younger one to comfort him. He felt useless. He left the room.

Meanwhile upstairs in the manor

Alfred opened the door and three concerned teens entered the home.

"Where's Danny?"demanded jazz with the ghost boomerang in hand. The boomerang led them to the manor and jazz isn't leaving without seeing her brother.

"Master Danny is unable to see visitors."Alfred explains. Sam glares at the butler.

"Where is Bruce Wayne?" Sam demands. Danny hasn't answering any of there texts or calls. If Danny's father is behind this, Sam will kill him! It's bad enough that his father ripped him away from them suddenly. Then the social workers told them that they can't see Danny during the adjustment period.  They don't care that they could potentially face a restraining order. They want to see Danny.

"I am picking up his location."said Tucker with his ghost tracker in hand. The devices is says Danny is somewhere below them.

"Guests are not allowed beyond the sitting room without permission from one of the residents."Alfred explains. Sam rolled her eyes. This old guy isn't going to stop her. She tried to walk past Alfred. The older gentleman grabbed the back of her collar of her shirt. He pulled her back to the group.

" I will show to the sitting room." Said Alfred. They went to the sitting room which was a nice living room area. "Who do you wish to speak with in Danny absent?"he asked.

"Bruce Wayne."hissed Sam.

"Master Bruce isn't here." said Alfred. Jazz sighs in frustration.

"Just find someone who can tell us about Danny." Said jazz. Alfred nods before leaving. The teens looked at each other.

"Are we really going sit here?"asked Sam.

"Sam, he is under ground meaning he is in a basement. We been in couple basements in rich homes. It's never good."Said Tucker. He wants to help Danny but he isn't good at rushing into danger.

"Tucker is right. We don't want to get kick out because we are looking around. Then we won't know what happened to Danny."said jazz. Sam folds her arms and leans back in her seat. A few moments later, the youngest Wayne walks in the room.

At the Wayne manor

Damian walks in the sitting room. The others teens immediately stand as they all tried speak at once.

"One at a time."said damian in annoyance.

"What's up with Danny?"asked jazz. Damian explains what happened at the family dinner without exposing his family secret identities. He gave them update on how Ellie helped.

"Where is vlad now?"asked Sam.

"Still in the thermos. Danyal never explained how to return the ghost to the ghost zone."said Damian.

"Why can't we see him?"asked jazz.

"He is in medical bay in the manor. Only immediate family can enter."Damian lies. Jazz folds her arms.

" I am his family." Said jazz.

" not by blood nor law." Damian points. Jazz looked offended. But Damian is right and she knows it. Danny is no longer in the foster home so by law, they are not siblings. Jazz frowns at the realization that the title of sister can be stripped away at any moment if Danny see fit because that's all she has left of sibling connection.

"Not all family is formed by blood. You should know because all of your siblings are adopted." Said Sam. She place a hand on jazz shoulder. Damian looked unfazed at Sam attempting to emotionally manipulate him to change his mind.

"Once again, we are family by law." Said Damian. Technically that's isn't true. Some of his siblings like Stephane, cass, and Jason are not adopted. So they are family by love bond but Damian isn't admitting that.

"Don't you have a heart." Said Tucker. Damian glared at Tucker. His heart is literally the reason why he is doesn't want to leave Danny side. His heart is the reason why he wants to turn back time. His heart is the root of all his problems right now.

"Don't you have a brain? I gave you a status report on Danyal. That's should be sufficient." Said Damian.

"We don't trust you." Said Sam.

"That's fine. Once Danyal is better, he will explain it again." Said Damian.

"And when is that?"asked jazz with concern. Damian is hesitant.He knew logical that he doesn't have a time estimate. However he understood the need of hoping for happy end because he is always also hoping for the same thing.

"Soon." Said Damian.

"Soon? That's not helpful!" Said sam.

"I want to see Danny."demand jazz. She glare at Damian. "Your family is the reason Danny was harmed. If they didn't ripped Danny from us. None of this would have happened."she adds. Damien remain silent. That wasn't Damian fault and he isn't going to admit to something he didn't do. However, like his oldest brother tells him family protect family. Damian is going bear their hate that should've been towards his father.

"He should be with his real family. I known him longer than you! He is more of brother to me than you."said jazz. She isn't going to stand here and be denied access to her brother because of a this spoiled rich kid.

Damian bit his tongue from correcting her. He known Danny way longer than she had. But Danny was adamant that his amity park friends shouldn't know about his time before entering their lives. Damian wonders what lies Danny told them about his life before amity park.

"Like I stated before, only family can enter that area."said Damian. Jazz lunged at him. Damian effortlessly moved out of the way.

"You are ass."said Sam. Damian rolled his eyes.

"I been called worse, Samantha."said Damian. He smirked in satisfaction when she got anger. She tried to punch him. Damian grabbed her fist with one hand and tripped her.

"I don't know how you related to Danny."said Tucker. Sometimes, Damian doesn't know either.

"I wonder that too."said a familiar voice. They look across the room. Ellie was standing by the window.

"Ellie!"said jazz. She ran to hug the younger one. Ellie was in her civilian form. She hugged jazz before speaking again.

"Guys, Danny is fine. I checked on him."said Ellie. She flashed her eyes green at them. Jazz look relieved. Sam and Tucker felt better.

"Now, you can leave."said Damian. They was getting on his last nerve.

"No, I am staying until Danny comes to see me."said jazz. She took a seat on the couch to emphasize her point. Sam and Tucker followed suit. Then the ghost scanner starts beeping from Tucker pocket. Jazz got in a throwing stance with the boomerang in hand. Sam look around with thermo in hand. Tucker was looking at the device in his hand with slight confusion.

Damian was only in the room who wasn't concern. He was confident in his skill to take down any enemy, human or ghost. Even though he hasn't successfully defended a ghost yet.

Then Jason with Alfred walk past the sitting room. Damien raised an eyebrow. The amity park citizens look bewildered while Ellie was unfazed.

Damian took note of Ellie lack of reaction. He assumed it was ghost related but if Danny friends didn't know about it. It must be something only ghost know.

"Maybe the device needs an update."jazz suggest to Tucker.

"It is the Fenton tech. They don't always work properly."Tucker concludes. Sam didn't fault the technology but she definitely grew suspicious about the Wayne family.

"How is the Fentons taking Danyal's absence?" Asked Damian out of curiosity. Jazz scoffed.

"They been trying cope by pouring all their time into ghost hunting." Said jazz.

"The city damage has increased a lot because of them." Said Sam in annoyance.

"Why do you even care? It seems like you got what you want without consideration about others in Danny life." Said jazz. She can't believe Damian is selfish enough to erase her and Danny friend out of his life so he can have his brother all to himself.

Damian jaw clenched as he place his hands in his pockets to restraint himself.

" get out. I will call you when Danyal is better." He said calmly as he tries not murder Danny only support system.

"No. I am not leaving." Said jazz.

" there you are trespassing. Pennyworth deals with trespassers." Said Damian. He left the room. Jazz was about storm after him. She barely step foot out of the room when Alfred appeared. He gestured to main foyer.

"Right this way."said Alfred. Jazz tried to go around him but he blocked her before politely gesturing to the direction of the front door. Jazz, Sam and Tucker left.

As they were walking down the long driveway, Sam spoke.
