Chapter Text
Ozo's own shock now hit him as he heard the words Brandon just spoke. He loves him.
A shocked breath, briefly shaken; a dorky smile takes up Ozo's face as breath turns to a relieved and grateful laugh.
He embraces Brandon, warm arms and astrewn blankets following along to hold Ozo back. Everything feels right like this, together.
---
Both now sit back, teen awkwardness building in the two of them with little shifts. The sound of cloth fabrics and blankets stirring as they fidget.
"You really do right?"
Brandon nods, "I do;" An affirmation, soft voiced.
Eyes shift around in a mix of anxiety and hopefulness.
"So does that mean we could have something between us"
A smile grows on Brandon's face, a positive sign. "We can, I think I'd like that, but I mean, what do we do?" There was hesitance to his voice, but it was just confusion.
"Well, kiss like we just did," Brandon giggled at that, cute. "Cuddle and hug, maybe we can convince your mom to take us somewhere? We can go get lunch together maybe as like, a date or something"
Brandon nodded again, he was like an excitable puppy. Still holding his innocent curiosity even after everything and his behaviours reflected that; his nod hyperactive, shared with a big smile.
"I'll talk to my mom! That sounds fun, I'd really like that, we can get like Sushi maybe or Ramen or something fun!"
"You've been watching anime or something latley, haven't you?" Ozo teased.
"Pshh, maybe, it's just I never was able to before so I really want to, and Japanese stuff just seems really cool!"
All of that had really been getting popular lately hadn't it? Ozo had seen it around but the hype wasn't for him. That 'Magic Ninja' and pretty boys stuff really seemed to get Brandon though because he was hooked. Ozo preferred web stuff though, like web comics. Still for Brandon he'd go wherever. So he agreed, "Sure yea, some Ramen sounds good especially if it's something you've been wanting to try. I'll pay for you?"
The offer lit up Brandon's face, "Really? Thank you! I think my should totally let us go then, I can go ask her now!"
And just like that, off like an excited puppy Brandon was gone to ask his mother. Ozo felt at peace as the boy left the room.
