Summary
Most of her life she heard people who loved her, they did, really, yes they did, tell her that she was a disappointment, not living up to her potential, because she didn't care much about money - just want to write and create. Figured out how to make a living, more or less, and gave up her poetry for 35 years. Fan fiction gave back her voice.
My best friend, who knows my story, read this and told me "This is a revenge piece, right??" Yep, spot on.
