No Matter where you are, I'll be there

Summary:

Characters from arcane wake up in a weird room with their past selves and react to a story of love, fire, Hate, and forgiveness.

--------

Basically, all of these characters are reacting to a different AU of how things went down in the show.
Heavy Time bomb focus

Notes:

Howdy, I was busy watching so many animated videos of the love and hate between Powder and Ekko that if I didn't write this i would go arguably insane with depression.

This is specifically for fun and Therapy for me, I will almost certainly not go entirely accurate to the show, but bear with me.
This isn't my first fic, but it is my first Reaction fic, so sorry if it kind of sucks.

If you read my other stuff, This does not take place in the world of the "Flames of Zaun" But I will be continuing that story.

This work is Inspired by Ashes of Zaun (where the fire grows) by werlyxsd, It's not blue yet by pink_muffin , and A revelation in the light of day: You can't choose what stays and what fades away by Lexie_strawberry

*Note: The Underage S*x tag isn't anything to serious (It's not SA or Very graphic), but if that still does bother you then don't read.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: "Holly Hell"

Chapter Text

Vi was punching the walls of her cell. Her knuckles bled and ached, but it was nothing compared to the hammering in her head. The Screams of a little girl, the cries of despair. The look of her father as the Shimmer tore him apart from within.

"I'm sorry Vander. I FAILED THE ONE THING YOU TOLD ME TO DO."

The tears streamed down her face, but all she could do was focus on the wall that she was mercilessly beating, she had to focus on surviving. Just get to breakfast, then to Lunch, then to Dinner, then to bed. Then Repeat.

EVENTUALLY, they would have to let her out.

She WOULD make it back to Powder. She had to.

As VI was about to turn back to her bed, a flash of light came and all of sudden she was gone.

Ekko was hanging out in Benzos shop with Powder and her siblings. He couldn't wait to tell them about the new lead that he had just gotten! That Piltie Jerk wouldn't know what hit him until Vi and the crew ran off with half of his stuff.

And If he came back, he would resell it all to him for DOUBLE the already doubled price!

He was just about to tell Powder what he knew when the White light flashed and everybody vanished.

Vander and Benzo were spending some time together. They were in the middle of a game of Pool, Vander was losing (Like Usual) and Benzo was kicking his ass while they talked about the collection numbers.

Business was much easier when you did it with friends, and Benzo was more like a brother than a friend anyways. So the 2 of them just clicked.

Benzo was about to mock Vanders aim when A white flash blasted throughout the bar and the 2 of them vanished.

Caitlyn was in the middle of her Cadet class. She just had to name each component of a standard Issue Enforcer Rifle and she should be able to move onto the next class level.

Becoming an Enforcer was no easy task, but she would do it if only to prove to her mother that she could do more for Piltover on the ground level then up above.

Caitlyn stood up from her desk and was about to walk up to the proctor to turn in her test when a white flash blasted through the classroom and she vanished.

Ekko was sitting on the root of his tree, he was busy rewiring his Hoverboard, that event that happened 4 days, 2 hours 13 minutes, and 43 seconds ago still nagged at his mind.

Woah, he didn't realize just how insane his bearings had become after that. Scar stood next to him and struck up some conversation.

"I noticed you 2 have been avoiding each other recently."

Ekko grimaced at that, were they really that obvious?

"What happened? You 2 have a spat or something?"

"No... I don't know. We... We did something- We- I think I may have screwed up with her."

Scar looked at his friend with concern in his eyes. What did Ekko do? His friend was both a genius and an Idiot, but he had his money on idiot for whatever was going on between his friends.

Ekko was about to tell Scar what happened when a white flash blasted through the compound and he vanished.

"AHHHH!!!!" Were the only noises heard as a group of people fell from the sky and landed on their faces onto the floor of a mysterious and dark room.

Ekko stood up and rubbed the side of his head, what happened? He dusted himself off and began to look around. That was until his eyes landed on one particular person.

"...Benzo?"

The Older man got up and spotted Ekko, his eyes were filled with Confusion.

"Who are you?" He asked, his voice thick with that familiar Accent. Ekko felt his eyes water with happiness as he threw himself into his fathers arms. He didn't care if the man Recognized him or not, he just wanted to feel his presence again.

"Little man?" Another voice spoke up. Ekko turned and was met with the eyes of a muscular woman with Reddish Pinkish hair. She was covered with Tattoos and bandages.

"Vi?" He asked. The Older woman began to sob tears of Joy as she threw herself into the 2 men, hugging Ekko so tightly he forgot how to breath. Benzo spoke up from where he was in the hug.

"Ekko? Vi? How... How?"

At that moment Ekko broke away from the hug and looked around the dark room they were in. It appeared to be a cavern with a white spotlight shining down on them from what appeared to be a hole in the roof. A small stream of water flew through the cave, descending from a great waterfall that was so bright they could see their own reflections.

But none of that mattered to him. What mattered was the fact that he was seeing ghosts from the past all around him.

A younger looking Vi was staring at him with a guarded look, clutching a little Powder and Ekko (Himself?) behind her. Vander Mylo and Claggor stared at him and the Tattooed Vi with looks of shock and awe. But what stood out to them was the well dressed girl who was holding a pen and paper who looked incredibly out of place. But the Piltie didn't matter, what did matter was the fact that the family he thought he had lost was standing all around him.

"Are you really me?" The little Ekko asked. Ekko had no idea how to respond to the kid, but Benzo thankfully answered for him.

"I think he is son! Look at how you have grown my boy!" The man laughed as he held Adult Ekko by the shoulders and inspected him. All of a sudden, Adult Vi and Ekko were being inspected by the whole group.

"Wow look Powder! I have muscles!" Little Ekko said as he grabbed his adult versions arm and jumped around. Powder just let out a small blush and laughed, her friend was so handsome all grown up!

"I have tattoos!" Teenage Vi said as she checked out her adult version, Claggor and Mylo had eyes wide with shock and Admiration. Adult VI just looked at her younger self with so much grief and longing, how she missed those days. How, without knowing it, Her world was perfect.

"Vander..." Adult Vi choked out as she saw her father. Vander without thinking stepped forward and hugged his daughter, now all grown up. Vi began to sob hysterically as she held onto her father for dear life and cried all over his shoulder. Ekko was no better as he held onto Benzo.

"Ahem." A posh voice sounded from behind the group. All of the Zaunites turned as they laid eyes upon the Piltie with dark blue hair and a pristine uniform that screamed "Enforcer"

"Oh great." Adult Vi snarled, she stepped away from Vander and marched right up to the Piltie, getting right in her face. "How did we all get stuck here with a Pig of all things?"

Caitlyn took a step back, her shock at being addressed in such a manner clearly visible. Being called any sort of barn animal didn't sit well with her, but the woman was an intimidating figure.

Before she could think of how to respond, a lightning bolt blasted through the hole in the roof of the cave and hit the wall right next to the waterfall. Everybody ducked, but the Lightning didn't disperse. Instead it began to move in an erratic way as it left behind scorch marks that looked a lot like words.

"You are all probably wondering why you are here. Don't fret, none of you are in any danger. You have all been brought here to see the future that awaits you. Why?

"Yes why?" Vander mumbled.

"Because the connection between 2 of the individuals here was so powerful, I couldn't bear to keep it to myself. I knew I had to show all of you, but this path is one layered with blood Fire Hate and Revenge. All of you must see this, if only to bring about change for your own respective timelines.

And of course, because one individual in particular is in grave danger in her own world. So I ask of you, Save Powder.

"Powder?" Teenage Vi thought to herself. What was going to happen to her sister? Would somebody try to hurt her? Over her dead body.

"Powder?" Adult Vi thought to herself. Was she to late? Had she failed yet again?

"Powder?" Little Ekko thought to himself. Would someone try to hurt his friend? No way would he allow that.

Everybody had their own thoughts on this. But Adult Ekko felt a cold feeling of dread and Worry crawl over him.

Powder? What was going to happen to Powder?

Chapter 2: We look so cool!

Summary:

The group watches parts of the future

Notes:

From what I have seen, most of the reaction Fics that focus on TImebomb start of with the Shipment scene. SO I figured, why not?

Chapter Text

"Save me?" Powder wondered aloud, worry evident in her voice. "Is something going to happen?"

"Not on out watch." Teenage Vi assured her, squeezing her shoulder with a small one armed hug. Little Ekko took her hand and squeezed it tightly. Powder felt much more at ease now, with her family she would always be safe.

Suddenly the lightning struck again and left behind more scorch marks.

Please turn your attention to the waterfall. Seats will be provided shortly.

The group turned to the waterfall that was now shining brightly with the colors of a rainbow. As they approached, the ground began to rumble and 10 seats made of stone rose from the ground. They were layered with a cushion of bright green moss that looked as soft as wool.

The people from the Undercity quickly took their seats, Powder and Ekko were shocked by just how soft the Moss was. As they watched the Waterfall with curiosity, Vander couldn't help but notice that the Topsider hadn't sat down yet.

"Is something the matter?" He asked gently. Topsider or not, this was a young woman. He Felt the need to at least be polite.

"Yes actually, there wouldn't happen to be a proper seat around here would there?" She asked. Both Vi's just rolled their eyes.

"Oh spare us. You won't get your precious little Uniform all dirty from this stuff, Cupcake." The adult Vi spat. Caitlyn looked at her with anger, she had no idea why this woman looked down on her (She was shorter than her for crying out loud!) but she would rather avoid a confrontation. She sat down next to the nice looking man who had asked her if she had been alright.

"I don't think I caught your name."

"Caitlyn." She replied. The Man nodded and gestured towards himself and the others.

"I'm Vander. That's Benzo, Violet, Powder, Ekko, Claggor and Mylo." He explained. Caitlyn gave him a nod and turned back to the waterfall.

Adult Vi eyed the Piltie with Anger and Interest. Anger because thanks to those Enforcer bastards she had been taken away from her sister. Interest because the woman was definitely pretty. If she wasn't a topsider, she might have found herself flirting with her.

The waterfall began to shimmer with color and everybody turned to face it.

The Scene began with a view of a Piltover Loading dock. A worker with a clipboard walked up to the group of mean looking people that were loading barrels of stuff into the ship.

"Umm... Shipping Manifest?" He asked timidly. Suddenly a bag of Coins fell onto his clipboard. The man looked up to a woman with bright blue scars on her face.

"From your friend downtown." Sevika Ordered.

"Filthy Traitor." Adult Vi snarled. The others looked at her with interest.

"What do you mean Violet?" Vander asked. Ekko spoke up for her.

"Things have changed for our time. It honestly might be better if we just watch this, I don't think we can explain it properly."

"Why not?" Vander asked.

"Because I don't remember this specific moment. I think it's in the future.

The others looked at them with confused stares, but everybody decided to keep watching the waterfall.

The worker weighed the bag lightly, then he took out a stamp and marked the papers regarding the Shipment.

Caitlyn felt angry at the man for his lack of care. No true Piltovian should lower themselves to crime. Accepting a bribe showed a lack of responsibility.

Suddenly the scene shifted a man wearing an owl mask. He was slowly gliding through a pipe near the loading site.

"Woah, cool." Both Little Ekko and Powder said at the same time. Ekko couldn't help but chuckle, the kids were in for a surprise.

On the mans right, a second, slightly smaller figure, wearing a mask was gliding right next to him on a hoverboard. This figure had a mask that was styled like that of a monkey.

"Hey..." Powder said. That Monkey figure looked familiar. Adult Ekko chuckled, Powder was in for a real surprise.

The 2 figures immediately leaned to the sides of their boards and glided down onto the Ship. Immediately the men withing began to panic. "Firelights! Shoot those bastards!" One of them shouted.

"Firelights?" Vander asked. Ekko nodded, although he refused to elaborate. If this thing was going to show everything, then all he had to do was wait.

The Firelights threw crystal bombs that quickly grew on the men, freezing them in place. The Owl mask figure proceeded to kick one of the Ship workers in the neck knocking him out cold. As the other Firelights finished restraining the rest of the crew, the Owl mask took out a watch and swung it around on its chain. "We have 5 minutes until thy get out."

"Hey that's my watch!" Little Ekko shouted. Adult Ekko looked at him with a grin. "Yup, That's us."

"Woah! Pow I'm so cool in the future!" Powder laughed at that and looked at Big Ekko. "So where am I?"

"Just wait."

"What are you doing there?" Benzo asked him.

"Trying to stop them." He may not know what exactly was happening, but he knew that they wouldn't give up on fighting Silco.

He Knew that She would not give up.

"Who are they?" Vander asked. Ekko just pointed at the waterfall.

Ekko opened one of the barrels to see it full of the purple liquid. “You ever seen this much shimmer before?” The Firelight with the Monkey mask asked.

"Shimmer?" Vander and Benzo asked.

"A very potent Drug." Ekko explained.

They’re expanding” Ekko replied. “Check for more below. Burn it all”

Ekko clenched his teeth, Clearly those bastards would just keep coming. If that was the case, then the Firelights would just keep stopping them.

The Monkey masked figure nodded and sent 2 people under. The rest of them began to overturn the barrels and spilled the Liquid.

The Scene cut to Sevika, who was smirking as her left shoulder began to glow with a purple light.

"Uh oh" Ekko thought to himself. That didn't look good.

The monkey masked figure immediately noticed the light, he dove towards Ekko and pushed him out of the way. At the same time, Sevika exploded with motion and her left arm came down on where Ekko use to be, crushing thee floor underneath.

"HOLY SHIT!" Adult Vi shouted. Just what had happened to Sevika? A metal Arm? That made the plan of beating the shit out of her much harder.

Sevika stood up tall after her attack and focused on the Monkey mask figure. She threw herself at him and he barely dodged out of the way as her Metal arm sent a barrel of Shimmer flying off of the ship.

Monkey mask Jumped on his board and Brought out 2 Pistols as he flew around Sevika, firing at her the whole time. Sevika managed to grab his board, but he rolled off and shot her right in the joint of her Metal arm.

"Son of a bitch!" Sevika shouted.

"Woah, that guy can fight." Mylo exclaimed. Ekko chuckled at that, he was in for a surprise as to who that was. Given on how much he made fun of her.

Monkey mask threw 2 colorful bombs that blasted Sevika across the ship and caused the whole thing to shake. The other Firelights had already spilled Over the barrels of Shimmer and the Explosion caused them to light on fire.

"WE GOT THEM! GET OUT OF HERE!" Ekko shouted. The Monkey Mask figure was still in battle with Sevika. As He slid between her legs, the woman turned around and with a lightning fast strike, her arm drew a sword that Sliced his mask right off.

"Shit!" The blue haired girl said as she fell over from surprise.

"Powder!?!" Everybody exclaimed. Ekko couldn't bring himself to be amused at their reactions, he was to worried as to what might happen to her. Sevika looked angry.

"Ekko. What are you 2 doing?" Adult Vi asked. "I already told you, trying to stop the Shimmer trade."

Before VI could continue, she was cut of by Powder.

"I LOOK SO COOL!!" She shouted with glee, hopping up and down. Little Ekko joined her as they both jumped with excitement.

Adult Ekko chuckled, his best friend really was the only person he could trust his life with.

"Well hard to believe that the Jinx really learned how to fight." Mylo muttered. Practically everybody shot him a dirty look which got him to shut up. Claggor put a sympathetic hand on his brothers shoulder, although he did look annoyed at the "Jinx" Comment.

Powder was now on the defensive as Sevika threw attack after attack. As Sevika swung her sword a second time, Powder leaped over her and shot right at her head, but Sevika managed to bring up her arm fast enough to take the shot. As Powder landed on the floor, Sevika kicked her right in the gut and sent her flying into one of the Ships Guard rails.

"POWDER!!" Adult Vi screamed. Was this what the wall meant when it said save powder? Save her from Sevika?

If that traitor was the one who put Powder in danger then VI would kill her.

Little Ekko and Powder looked at the Waterfall with worry. Was Sevika really going to hurt her?

Teenage Vi tensed at the sight and made sure to get Powder in her eyesight. That bitch Sevika wouldn't touch her is she knew what was good for her.

Powder threw one last bomb into the ship as she rolled over the edge of the ship.

"POWDER!!" Everybody shouted.

"It's fine, it's fine." Adult Ekko said, trying to calm everybody down. They had thankfully practiced for this.

As Powder free fell, Ekko swooped in on his board and caught her. The Firelights immediately began to head back to the Pipes.

"Nice Save Boy Savior." Powder said as she got carried away. "Any Time Pow-Pow." Ekko shot back.

"Aww, Cute." Caitlyn said. It was clear just how much they both cared for each other.

At her comment, everybody immediately started laughing. Both Ekko's and Powder turned a bright red as they hid their faces.

"You hear that Ekko? You are not NEARLLY as subtle as you think." Teenage Vi taunted Adult Ekko. He just blushed even harder and prayed everybody would just turn back to the waterfall.

Powder leaned onto Ekko as she clutched her side that was aching. Sevika could really kick. The 2 of them continued through the tunnels as the scene shifted it's focus away from the firelights.

Chapter 3: "Why don't you hate me?"

Summary:

The cast sees the night Powder fell apart, and who kept her together.

Chapter Text

As The scene ended, Everybody was left with feelings of confusion and glee. Glee was Powder and Ekko who looked so amazed at just how strong they became in the future, confusion as to why all of this was even happening. Teenage Vi had to admit that her little sister had become a fierce fighter, capable of going head to head with Sevika.

"I'm confused. Who were all of those people? Why is this, 'Shimmer' so dangerous? And where the hell is everybody?" Vander demanded. Ekko didn't really know how to answer him, that was until Violet started speaking.

"Vander... You, Benzo, Claggor and Mylo are dead in our time." She explained. Vander and Benzos eyes were wide with shock. Mylo and Claggor looked alarm as well

"Did I die fighting Enforcers?" Mylo eventually asked. Caitlyn narrowed her eyes at him, why would anybody want to fight the Enforcers?

"No. There... There was an accident." Adult Vi explained, her voice slightly cracking.

Ekko bit his tongue to prevent himself from speaking. He somewhat knew what had happened, but he had sworn to Powder that he would never breath a word of it to anyone.

It was an accident, he knew she just... just wanted to help. It wasn't her fault, although Powder didn't think the same.

Before anybody could ask anymore questions, the Waterfall began to shimmer

The Scene started with what appeared to be a warehouse that was on fire. Smoke bellowed from the ruin, and in an alley just in front of it, A young girl was crying over a monstrous looking man who was oozing a purple Liquid. The Teenager had several cuts on her face as she wept over her fathers body. Violet cried out ugly sobs as she slowly got up from his body.

Exclamations of horror filled the room in no time, Powder cried out and ran to Vander who held her tightly. Benzo had shock in his face as he pulled little Ekko closer to him. The Teenagers looked at the scene with terror, their father was dead and deformed.

Adult Ekko was trying to hold back tears, he hadn't gotten a good look at Vander's body, but looking at it now? The sight haunted him.

Vander simply stared at the scene with a grim expression. This must be the accident that Violet was talking about. His son's had died here, that thought alone filled him with more grief then his own death.

"Vi it worked!" A voice suddenly shouted out. Vi slowly turned around, "What." She whispered as she saw her sister. Powder stepped into the light as she went on about how her monkey bomb had finally worked.

"You did this?" Vi asked. A cold feeling was washing over her. Her muscles tightened, her voice grew taut.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid. She didn't do it on purpose. She didn't do it on purpose. She didn't do it on purpose." Adult Vi began to mutter to herself. The others turned to look at her, shock and sorrow in their eyes. Powder could already feel the horror and sorrow rise up to her as she began to sob. Vander pulled her into a tighter hug as little Ekko squeezed her shoulder affectionately.

"Did I do that?" Powder thought with horror.

Powders face fell into cold shock as she saw Vander's body. Vi let out a sigh, willing herself to stay calm as the fire within her burned so hot it felt cold. "Why? Why did you do this?"

"She didn't mean to, "She didn't mean to, "She didn't mean to, "She didn't mean to." Adult Vi began to mumble like some fanatic. Adult Ekko stared at her with pity and anger. He knew what was coming next from what Powder had told him.

“I just wanted to help,” Powder whispered in a broken voice, shaking her head in denial as the realization swept over her.

"I just killed my whole family."

“I just wanted to help… I just wanted to help! I just wanted to help!” She sobbed, begging for her sister to understand.

"I know." Vi whispered helplessly. She would always hate herself for what she did next.

I told you to stay away,” Vi muttered through her teeth, her gaze filled with fury that was beginning to boil rapidly. She couldn't see her sister anymore. All she saw was a murderer. A mistake.

A JINX.

“Please, please, please…” Powder pleaded, her face now streaming with tears.

Teenage Vi felt a feeling of dread wash over her. Oh no...

"I told you to STAY. AWAY!!" Vi shouted as she punched Powder in the face. The little girl let out a cry of shock and hurt as she fell to the ground.

Caitlyn couldn't suppress a gasp of surprise. What had happened?

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO!?!" Teenage Vi screamed as she ran up to her adult version and squared up to her. Adult Vi couldn't even bring herself to look her teenage self in the eye.

Powder clutched her cheek as she kept crying in despair “Why did you leave me?!” She pleaded.

Vi reached out and abruptly grabbed her sister's face, bringing their faces closer. She clenched Powders Jaw with much more force than necessary.

"BEACUASE YOU'R A JINX!! DO YOU HEAR ME!?! Mylo was right!" Vi screeched.

Teenager Vi let out a sigh of horror, she immediately ran to Powder and pulled her into a hug.

"You are NOT a Jinx. You are NOT a Jinx. You are NOT a Jinx." She repeated immediately as she gripped her baby sister with a tight hug. Powder cried into her older sisters shoulder as the Adult Vi felt a wave of Disgust roll over her for what she had done. Powder didn't deserve what came next. Vi would always hate herself for what she had done.

Mylo looked at the projection with horror. He was such an Idiot, Calling Powder a Jinx had just been his way of Venting anger at her clumsiness. He had figured that if he called her that enough times, she would eventually get the memo and shape up or back off. He never meant it like this, what had he done?

Mylo swore to himself that he would make things right with Powder. That was his damn sister for crying out loud!

"No, no, no." Powder cried, looking at her older sister in fear, as her nose began to bleed. "Violet, please."

Seeing the blood Vi's gaze changed as she realized what she had done. She looked at her injured, bandaged hand which was stained with Powder's blood in disbelief.

"I'm sorry." Adult Vi pleaded in her head. What had she done?

Vi staggered away from Powder, her breathing labored, her shoulders hunched in pain, tears filling her eyes again.

As Vi walked past Powder, the girl covered her face in fear of receiving another blow.

Both Vi's felt horror at the sight of their sister. Their little Pow - Pow... Terrified of them. Teenage Vi swore she would never do this. Adult VI swore that she would find her sister and apologize a thousand times over for what she had done.

As Powder lowed her guard arm, she only Saw Vi walking away from her down the alley. "Vi! Vi, come back!" She begged, all the desperation she could muster in her voice.

"No way." Claggor breathed, horror and disbelief evident in his voice. No way could Vi abandon her reason for fighting. Her reason for Living.

Her Pow - Pow.

Mylo could feel the tears streaming down his face as he saw the horror unfold. No... No.

"Vi please!" Powder begged, her tears flowing in such large amounts that she couldn't even see.

"She BEGGED YOU." A voice in Adult Vi's head snarled. She had to sit down or she would fall over in her grief.

"She begged you and you still left."

"I need you!" She sobbed, unable to keep herself sitting up she fell to the floor and sobbed uncontrollably.

"She NEEDED you. And You ABANDONED HER."

Powder was left on the cold floor crying her eyes out. Her sister had left, Violet had abandoned her. Vi hated her, despised her, called her a Jinx.

Vander felt his heart shatter into pieces as he saw the projection. He didn't blame Vi, he figured she was doing enough of that to herself, but he couldn't help but feel as if he had failed his children. Who caused all of this to happen?

"Powder?" A voice called out.

"What?" Adult Vi whispered through her tears. Who was that?

Powder slowly lifted up her head from her prone position. Through her tears and sobs, she could barely make out his figure. But she could recognize that voice from anywhere.

"Ekko?"

Everybody immediately turned to Adult Ekko.

"You were there?" Adult Vi whispered. Ekko simply nodded, his gaze not leaving the waterfall projection. He had a lot of sharp words on his tongue, but he figured that nobody needed to hear them.

Powder felt a small sense of relief and appreciation. Her best friend had been there for her in what may be her darkest moment.

"Powder!" He cried, Ekko quickly ran up to her and wrapped her in a tight hug. Powder began to cry again into his shoulder. Before she was even able to explain anything little man began to frantically speak.

"Pow, we need to go." Ekko pleaded. Suddenly voices sounded from further up the alley.

"Oh no." he thought. They had to go now!

Vander and Benzo felt that familiar confusion, who were they running from?

"But Vi... She-" Powder whimpered. Ekko immediately hauled Powder onto her feet. "Can you run?" He asked.

"Yeah..." Powder mumbled. "Then were going to have to run!" Ekko ordered, keeping his voice firm but gentle. He took Powder by the hand and they ran away from the alley taking a hard left.

The scene shifted to a man who was watching the 2 children run away. The mans scarred face twisted into an angry glare as 2 more men appeared behind him.

"Kill them. Vander's heirs can't be allowed to live." Silco ordered.

"Silco?" Vander gasped. Suddenly it all made sense. The mass production of this new Shimmer drug. The great enemy of the Firelights, the one oppressing his children was Silco...

Vander cracked his knuckles as rage coursed through him. The bastard was to blame for what happened to his family, the one who forced Powder into the circumstances regarding the accident. he would take care of that monster himself. If Silco knew what was good for him, he would pack his bags and run away from Zaun before Vander got his hands on him.

Benzo stared at the scene in shock, it had been a while since he had seen Silco. If that animal was willing to try his son then he had another thing coming.

Both Violets snarled at the Projection. That bastard wanted to hurt their sister and little brother. "No way in hell." They both thought at the same time.

The scene cut to Violet who was leaning against a wall further up the alley in the dark. As Silco spoke up, she turned and spotted him. Immediately she realized what was happening.

"Powder." She gasped.

"Finally." Teenage Vi muttered. Maybe she would get to fix the stupid shit that her counterpart had done.

Vi got up and tried to run, but an Enforcer grabbed her from behind and placed a drugged rag over her face.

Caitlyn gasped as she recognized Marcus. What had he been doing there?

"No!" Teenage Vi shouted. How could she leave the kids all alone against that man?

"He'll kill you if he see's you." Marcus whispered as Vi slowly lost consciousness. "Come on." He whispered as he dragged her into the dark.

"What happened?" Teenage Vi asked her older version.

"He took us to Stillwater, where I have been for the past 4 years." She explained.

"What?" Caitlyn whispered. Why would Marcus have sent a girl to Prison and not even bother to Investigate Silco? He clearly knew that he was A killer. What was going on?

Ekko led Powder through several alleys and pipes as Silco's men continued to follow them. They had to go up some old buildings before they were able to lose the men in an Abandoned warehouse. But Ekko didn't stop there as he pulled powder along until they arrived in some old Sewer Pipes.

The 2 of them sat down in the pipe, shoulder to shoulder they caught their breath.

"Ekko... Thank you." Adult Vi murmured. Ekko just gave her a nod, no way in hell would he abandon his friend to face that animal all alone.

Powder stared at little Ekko with admiration and gratitude. Having her friend be willing to put himself in harms way for her made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. Ekko caught her gaze and they both turned away, a light blush on their faces.

Teenage Vi watched the 2 kids with amusement, it was no secret that they were in love with each other. Everybody was just waiting for them to get older so that they could make their relationship official.

Powder had been sobbing the whole time that they were running. Now she was choking on her tears as she fought to catch her breath. Ekko noticed this and held her by the hand and shoulder.

"Powder- look at me. Breathe." Ekko pleaded. He slowly guided her through the movements and after a while, Powder was breathing normally.

"Thank you Ekko. Thank you for picking up the pieces of what I broke." Adult Vi whispered, her voice tight with tears. Ekko just gave her another nod, he knew it was unfair to blame Vi for what had happened, but he was angry. Taking care of Powder had been no sort of Favor to VI. He had done it because he cared about her.

Because he Loved her.

As Powder calmed down, Ekko kept his arm wrapped around her. She was still a little hysterical, but Ekko needed answers. Why was she just left crying like that? What happened to Vander? And where was VI and the others?

"Pow... I need you to tell me what happened." He whispered to her. At that, Silent tears began to fall down her face. Before Ekko could tell her that it was ok and she didn't need to talk about it, Powder spoke.

"I killed them. I just wanted to help, But Mylo was right. Vi said so."

Ekko looked down with anger, not at Powder (Never at her) But at the circumstances that led to his friend being left so broken, so hurt, so lost. That sorrow that she had spoken with had hurt him, he just wanted to make her laugh, make her smile, and be there for her whenever she needed him.

Both Violets looked at the projection with sorrow, how could they leave their little sister in such a state. Teenage VI just wanted to wrap her arms around her baby sister and tell her how everything would be ok. Adult Vi just wanted to find her Powder and beg for forgiveness. She just wanted her sister back.

Mylo looked away in shame, he knew that he had to make things right with Powder, he just didn't know how. He had said a lot of stupid things to her.

"What- what do you mean?" Ekko asked. Powder began to shout in despair "It was my fault! I triggered the explosion! I Jinxed it like I always do!"

Ekko couldn't believe what he had just heard. Powder... Powder caused that fire? He felt a mix of emotions, some Anger which scared him, some sorrow for losing most of his extended family. But what he felt most of all, was worry and grief over just how devastated Powder was.

But now wasn't the time for Feelings, They had to survive. Powder, had to survive.

And no way in hell was he about to leave her there all alone.

Powder blushed again at her friends words, he could be such a sap. But she was grateful that he truly cared about her. So much so that he was willing to stick with her through anything.

Little Ekko felt glad that in his future he did exactly what he had hoped he would do. Protect and be with Powder.

Ekko got up and held his hand out to Powder. She looked at him as if he had just grown a second head.

"Come on, we need to keep moving."

"What?" Powder whispered. Why? Why was Ekko helping her? She was a Monster, she was a Murderer.

She was A Jinx.

"You are NOT a Jinx." Little Ekko told Powder as he gripped her hand tightly. She smiled and nodded, when Ekko said things like that it was so easy to believe that everything would be ok.

"Please." Ekko pleaded. He couldn't bear to go on without his friend, she was so Important. She was the reason why he was always so determined and dedicated. He just wanted to be good enough for her.

Everybody in the room was laughing as Both Ekko's hid their faces in their knees, just begging for the damn Projection to stop spilling all of their thoughts.

"Well I guess we just have to wait for the wedding then! Ain't that right Benzo?" Vander laughed. At that, Powder curled in on herself as her whole face went bright Pink. Everybody laughed for a good while, even Caitlyn couldn't help but giggl at how both of the Ekko's and Powder were reacting to the Projection.

"Pow can I be your maid of honor?" Teenage VI teased. Powder let out a small squeal as she hid behind her chair away from little Ekko. A wedding? She was only 12!

Eventually everybody calmed down and Powder came back out shooting Glares at everybody.

"Why?" Powder whispered. "Why don't you hate me?"

Ekko got on a knee as he looked her right in the eyes.

"I could never hate you. Please come with me, your my best friend. I couldn't bear to just leave you alone."

Powder looked at him with confusion. Why did he still want to be with her?

"Silco is just going to try to find us, he wont stop until he gets you. I'm not going to let him hurt you, so please, come with me." Ekko pleaded.

"I need you."

"Oh." Powder whispered, her blush returning. Little Ekko just buried his face in his hands. He coulda already feel the amused stare from his family and friends.

Eventually Powder looked up at him and made her decision.

"I don't want to be alone." She whispered. Ekko grinned brightly and helped her up. Together the 2 of them walked deeper into the sewers. They had to find a way to Survive. Alone EKko probably wouldn't have known what to do.

But for Powder? He could find a tree grown straight from Zaun for her.

As The Projection cleared from the waterfall, everybody was left with feelings of sorrow and hope. Sorrow for what had happened between Powder and Violet. Hope because Ekko had saved her before Silco could get her.

Little Ekko and Powder were holding hands again. He knew, no matter what, he would always come back for Powder.

Chapter 4: "I love you Powder."

Summary:

Ekko's Perfect gift to Powder

Chapter Text

"I'm so sorry Powder." Adult Vi whispered as the scene ended. She cursed herself for abandoning her sister, for leaving her and little man alone to survive in the cruel streets of Zaun. Vander walked over to the Adult VI and huggd her tightly.

"We all make mistakes Violet. And it's also partly my fault why this happened."

Everybody looked at Vander with confused stares. Everybody except Benzo who already knew what had happened. Vander let out a sigh as he began to explain.

"That man is called Silco. I don't think you 2 remember, but you once called him "Uncle"."

Powder and both of the Violets looked dumbfounded at th revelation. Vander kept going.

"He was once like my brother. Together, me him and your mother bought the Last drop and dreamed together of an independent Zaun. One free of Piltovers tyranny. But when we led our people across the bridge in a show of strength, the protest got out of control. Things were reaching a boiling point when Silco instigated the violence. He threw a Molotov at a group of Enforcers. I don't condemn him for that though, they were trying to  arrest Benzo."

Benzo nodded as the memory of that day returned. Maybe he could have avoided antagonizing those Enforcers, maybe things could have been different.

"After the Molotov fell... Well you already know what happened." Vander grumbled. Powder and Teenage Vi held each other as they tearfully remembered that day.

"After the fighting stopped... I lost my head. I told Silco to meet me by the river, told him we needed to talk. But when he arrived... I tried to kill him."

Everybody looked at Vander in shock. The kids couldn't believe it. This was Vander. He only hurt people when it meant protecting them, not out of anger. Never out of Anger!

"I wasn't able to kill him. He got away, but not before his wounded eye mixed with the River toxins. I hated myself for what I had done to him. But he clearly hated me more as we have just seen." Vander finished. He couldn't believe that his former brother was still alive, but he was and he was going after his family.

Vander wouldn't let him.

Before anybody could comment on that, the Projection from the waterfall started up again.

The scene opened with Powder and Ekko curled up together asleep, still in the sewer. Ekko had made a small bed of rags and they were both wrapped up under a large coat.

Vander and Benzos hearts hurt with grief at seeing their children in such a terrible state. They both swore that they would stop Silco before he could destroy their family.

'Why don't they go report this to the Enforcers?" Caitlyn asked aloud. At that everybody shot her dirty looks.

Adult Vi walked up to her with a look that made Caitlyn feel like an idiot.

"Maybe you didn't realize 'Cupcake' but Enforcers don't care about people like us."

"Of course they do." Cailyn retorted, their job was to protect the citizens of Piltover. That included the Undercity.

At the comment, Adult Ekko got up from hi sseat and walked up to Caitlyn with an angry glare.

"Enforcers hunt us like animals. All of Topside does, and Silco pays them to do so." He snarled. At that comment, Caitlyn found herself standing up in defiance. "that's not true." She growled.

Ekko as dumbfounded by that. He had seen his friends die at the hands of the Enforcers. And this little bitch that had most likely never set foot in the Undercity was telling him that he was Wrong?

He may have been amused if he didn't feel such unbridled rage.

"Say that again..." Ekko growled, his voice tight and dark. Caitlyn tried hard not to flinch at his tone.

"Say that again and watch how quickly I TAKE YOUR HEAD OFF YOUR SHOUDLERS!!" He screeched, he was about to deck the Piltie across the face when Benzo pulled him back.

"She's not worth it Ekko." He reasoned. "She was born with a golden spoon in her mouth, of course she doesn't know about what they do to us."

Ekko decided the Piltie wasn't worth it and walked back to his seat, Vi right behind him. Caitlyn felt angry at their slander of her dream profession, but she had to admit, from their experience, of course they have a negative view of the Enforcers.

Everybody returned their attention to the Waterfall.

Ekko quietly woke up and looked over to his side at a sleeping Powder. His friend had curled in on herself in her sleep, her hands were clenched tightly as she let out little mumbles and whimpers. Clearly a bad dream.

He didn't know what to do, on one hand he didn't want Powder to suffer. But on the other, she really needed the sleep.

"Do you often have bad dreams?" Vander asked his daughter. Powder just stared at the ground, she didn't want to look like a baby to her family, but she nodded. Vander felt sad at the fact that he didn't really know how to help with that.

He hoped that Ekko had been able to help her in those times.

Powder let out a small squeal of distress before Ekko got up the nerve to hold her. He Gently stroked her head and placed his hand near hers so that she could squeeze it. After a while of careful cuddles, Powder finally relaxed in her sleep.

Adult Vi felt a mixture of gratitude and sorrow while she watched the scene. Gratitude to Ekko for being there for Powder, but sorrow because she had left the kids. The children she had practically raised.

Powder couldn't help but glance out of the corner of her eye at her best friend, who was also looking at her. They immediately look away and both of their cheeks burned as their hearts raced.

Maybe... maybe Ekko really was the piece of her heart that she needed to be whole. The thought made her cheeks burn with a furious blush.

"We need food." Ekko mumbled. He didn't want to wake up Powder, Janna knows she needed the sleep. But Leaving her alone didn't sit right with him. He would have to make a tough call.

The Scene cuts to Ekko hiding the entrance to their hideout in an old sewage manhole. he silently let out a prayer to Janna to watch over his friend.

With that, Ekko hoisted up his backpack and ran through the sewers to get to the main city. He would hopefully be back before Powder woke up.

"I get why you did that Ekko." Vander said to the boy who looked incredibly distressed. Ekko gave him a Thankful nod, but leaving Powder alone had been one of the most terrifying moments of his life.

If something had happened... He would have never forgiven himself.

The Scene shifted to Ekko who was running back with a backpack filled with cans. His face was streaming with tears as he ran.

"What happened?" Adult Vi asked him. Ekko let out a sigh as he informed them

"I went to Benzos shop to look for food. But Silcos men were torching the place, his orders apparently. I barely managed to get the canned food in the back."

Benzo placed a hand on his sons shoulder in an attempt at Comfort. His poor Little man, he had endured so much pain and loss.

He was grateful that Ekko had Powder beside him through all of this.

As Ekko ran back through the tunnels, the only thought in his mind was getting back to Powder. He had to make sure that she was ok.

"The Heroic savior runs to save his princess." Mylo teased trying to lighten the mood. Everybody started laughing at that while the 2 Ekkos blushed furiously. This was starting to become a pattern and they DID NOT WANT THAT.

While running through the Pipes, Ekko realized he was horribly lost. No, no, no, no, NO!! HE WAS AN IDIOT, HE HAD FORGOTTEN TO KEEP A WAY BACK IN MIND!!

"Don't be so hard on yourself Ekko." Benzo reasoned. "You have just been thrusted into this new life, of course you don't have way's back, consistent escape routes and all sorts of other strategies down yet."

Ekko couldn't find comfort in his fathers words, he should have had SOMEHTING in play for getting back to Powder.

But if he did... he might not have found it.

"Where did I come from?" Ekko whispered, he tried to find a familiar pipe or something, but everything looked the same damn way. He settled on just running through the pipes as fast as possible. This was just a Sewer, one long path with many turns and only one destination. Meaning if he stuck to one side of the wall, he would eventually go through the whole way, and that would bring him back to Powder.

"Smart move Ekko. I probably would have just ran around like an Idiot." Teenage Vi said approvingly. Ekko laughed and gave her a warm smile. He had missed hanging out with his Older sister.

Caitlyn approved of the boy's strategy, it was a smart one. He would make a great Enforcer if he chose to. He had a brave heart.

But given his last reaction to the Enforcers, she figured she wouldn't offer that path to him.

Ekko kept running though the pipes, soon things began to look a little more familiar, he figured he would run into the place he had left Powder in soon.

That was until he came into a large clearing that was brimming with Sunlight.

"What?" Little Ekko and Powder whispered. The Adults looked shocked as they saw the image. Adult Ekko laughed at their reactions. He had been the same way.

Ekko gasped in shock. Because standing before him was a huge tree that was brimming with life. He couldn't believe it. An ACTUAL tree! In the Undercity!

"Do you not have trees in Zaun?" Caitlyn asked. She didn't know the Undercity that well, but she didn't think basic Plant life would be that Incredible. The tree was beautiful of course, but they were treating it like it was a gift from the gods.

All of the Undercity kids glared at her, Vi was about to say a stinging retort when Vander spoke up.

"We don't. The air in the fissures is so toxic that not many plants can grow. Those that do are laced with the poisons of the Grey and other Factory fumes." He calmly explained.

Caitlyn gasped in shock. That... that couldn't be possible. But as she looked over the people of the Undercity, she came to realize just how tired most of them looked. The young folk looked more full of Energy, but she could see the beginnings of chemical induced injuries on many of them. Teenage Violets knuckles looked somewhat black, as if her blood had ben contaminated. And Vander and Benzo looked as if they breathed in coal dust for a living.

Were things really this bad in Zaun? How could the council have let the Undercity get like this?

Ekko slowly walked around the small oasis as he looked around in awe. His mind went blank. This place was so beautiful. The air felt cleaner than anywhere else in Zaun, The tree had part of its roots digging into a small pond, drinking right from what appeared to be some of the freshest water he had ever seen. The first thing eh could think of popped into his head. He knew what he had to do.

"I have to show this to Powder."

Powder grinned at the fact that the first thing Ekko thought to do after finding such a beautiful place was to show it to her. She really did love him for that, he always wanted to do the best for her. Little Ekko felt happy that he acted exactly how he wanted to, by doing his best for his best friend.

Ekko ran out of the Oasis and through to another pipe on the other side. Before he left he made SURE to leave obscure markers leading back to the Tree. An empty can Infront of a turn. A little piece of scrap metal that's sharp end just so happened to be pointing in the direction of the tree.

"Smart moves Ekko." Vander said approvingly. Ekko grinned like an idiot at all of this praise. He felt complete, being with his family again.

But of course he knew what was coming. He really regretted not considering how Powder might have felt at waking up to his disappearances.

As Ekko got closer to the familiar manhole, he heard quiet sobs coming from within. Immediately he rushed in, thinking that Powder was in some kind of Danger.

Instead he found her curled up against the wall, sobbing softly.

"What happened?" Powder asked adult Ekko. He just gestured towards the waterfall.

"Pow - Pow?" He asked timidly, unsure of what was wrong. At the sound of his voice, Powder looked up in Disbelief. She didn't move, she just sat there awkwardly.

"I woke up and- and- you weren't there. I... thought you left me." She whispered.

"Pow..." Little Ekko said looking at his friend. "I would never leave you." Powder smiled at that and scooted closer to him until their shoulders were touching. It felt natural, to be so close.

Ekko realized just how stupid he had been. He had wanted to surprise her with some early morning food, but he hadn't thought about how Pow might feel about waking up all alone, especially after what had happened.

"I'm sorry Pow... I just went to get some food." he explained as he sat down next to her.

The 2 of them just sat there together. Eventually Ekko mustered the courage to speak.

"Powder. I want you to know how much you mean to me."

"Uh - oh."  thought little Ekko. He knew what he was going to say, he had fantasized saying it to her so many times, but those were words only for her. NOT TO BE SHARED WITH HIS WHOLE FAMILY.

Adult Ekko could already feel the teasing stares beginning to form

"I know Ekko. your Important to me to-"

"No. You know, but at the same time you don't." Ekko tried to explain. Powder looked at him with a confused glance.

"C'mon." Ekko grunted as he got up and held his hand out for her to take. She took it and Ekko led her through the tunnels.

Eventually they arrived at the Oasis. Ekko was covering Powders eyes as they arrived at the Entrance. Eventually he uncovered them.

The Joy in Powders face as she stared around in Awe made him feel as if head done at least one thing right in his life.

"What a sap." Mylo teased. Claggor just chuckled at how Little man and Pow - Pow were expressing theeir feelings. Both Vi's felt so happy that Powder got to see such an incredible place, and the fact that Ekko took her there mad it all so much mor beautiful.

"Ekko... How?" Powder gasped. Ekko just chuckled. "I found it while I went out looking for food."

Powder walked up to the tree in awe as she ran her hand across one of the roots running along the wall of a small building.

"About what I was saying.." Ekko began.

"Oh boy." Ekko thought to himself. Why couldn't the damn projection stop?

"When I say you man a lot to mee, I don't just mean it because your my best friend, or because your my family."

"Oh yeah?" Powder asked, a little bit of playful confusion in her voice.

"You mean a lot to me as in your the reason I always get back up after a failure. My hopes and dreams for Zaun and for Myself?"

He looked his friend in the eyes, hoping and praying that he could convey what he felt for her in his words.

"All of those dreams stem from you. Because I love you Powder, and I was to afraid to say it before."

Powder blushed furiously as her face went bright red. Little Ekko was no better, his heart was bating so hard that it hurt.

"Every single Idea and Invention I have and make, are all in the hopes that they make life better for you. I remember when we first built that wheel of ours, the one that let us flip off Enforcers and get away with it?" He said to her.

"I remember." She whispered, her voice tight with emotion.

"I barely even remember how much fun we had driving it, because I only remember just how happy you looked while we made it. When you smile? It feels like my whole world gets brighter."

Powder was blushing at her friends words. Ekko kept going.

"I'm not saying this because I feel bad for you or because I think you need to hear this. I'm saying it because I need to say it. Everyday we spent together and I was to scared to tell you how I felt? It felt like I couldn't breathe."

he looked her right in the eyes and with his last bit of courage got out his final words.

"I love you Powder. And Nothing would ever change that."

To the Ekko's surprise, nobody teased them for that. Instead adult Vi put a hand on adult Ekkos shoulder. "That was beautiful little man."

"Atta boy son." Benzo laughed as he lightly punched his shoulder.

Powder felt complete at her friends words. She loved him to.

Chapter Text

"Little man, It's honestly incredible just how hard you fought for the 2 of you." Claggor complimented. Ekko looked at him with gratitude, he had fought like hell to keep himself and Powder alive. But he obviously couldn't have done it without her, she was not only his reason for fighting, but also the one who fought right beside him.

She was more than his light. She was his guardian Angel.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you guys." Adult Vi said, her shame and anger towards herself evident in her voice. Adult Ekko decided that he really needed to clear the air with her, once and for all.

"Vi, I'm not going to say that I'm happy with what you did, but I get it. There was a lot of Trauma, anger and sorrow hanging around when it happened. But it's not me you should be apologizing to." He reasoned. Violet gave him a nod, she understood what he was saying.

She had to apologize to her Powder. She had to find her and beg for forgiveness.

The waterfall began to Project again, everybody turned their attention back to it.

The scene begins with Ekko and Powder sitting by a table while putting together some type of fan blade into what appeared to be a long board of metal. Powder was scribbling down some Mathematics while Ekko Welded some of the metal together.

"Ok, so now we have to wire the power to the Engines and the fans should start spinning fast enough to lift itself off of the ground while maintaining it's balance." Powder stated as she set aside her notes and secured a few more wires in the board.

"Cool!" Little Ekko and Powder exclaimed as they saw older versions of themselves working on the boards that they saw in the first Projection.

"We should make those." Little Ekko said to Powder, she nodded and began to scribble down imaginary Blueprints on her arm.

Ekko and Powder eventually closed up the insides of the Hoverboard as they brought it outside.

As soon as the door to the Room opened, the whole Tree was shown. It had been transformed into a huge Treehouse that had several kids and teenagers running around. Stairs and rooms were built along the sides of the Tree as glowing green bugs flew around the top of the tree.

"Holy shit." The Teenagers whispered, had Ekko built all of this? It was Incredible!

"It's beautiful..." Vander whispered as he saw the transformed tree.

"Did you build all of that?" Benzo asked his son in shock. Ekko nodded, but not before explaining what happened.

"It wasn't just me. Powder was half of the brains behind the work, it was her Idea to build the tree house along the sides of the tree instead of just on it. I wouldn't have been able to do it without her."

Powder blushed at what the older version of Ekko said. It felt nice for him to compliment her, he was so handsome.

Little Ekko noticed how Powder reacted to those words from his older counterpart. He didn't know whether wo be Jealous, or be flattered.

He settled on Jealousy as he glared at the Older version of himself.

"Ok Test time!" Powder shouted around the community, immediately several of the kids ran over to see what the twin Geniuses Powder and Ekko had come up with.

Ekko put the board on the ground and turned it on. He got on it and felt the fans begin to whir with life. Powder held her breath as the Board slowly lifted off of the ground. It's green lights flashed as Ekko was lifted off the ground by 5 feet.

"Try Moving." Powder requested. Ekko leaned forward and the board followed his command. Before he knew it, he was zipping around the Oasis. Powder squealed in excitement as their Invention had finally worked after several Test runs.

"I can't believe you 2 built all of this..." Vander whispered. Benzo just let out a laugh. "I always knew you would do great things Ekko, I just didn't think I would be so right." Ekko just chuckled, he had Powder beside him that day.

As long as he had the love of his life by his side, he could do anything.

As Ekko landed Powder ran right up to him and threw herself into his arms.

"It worked! We did it!" She laughed. Everybody in the compound cheered as Powder and Ekko returned to the Workshop to make another one. The rest of the week passed as they recreated their boards, before long they had several copies of the design

"You 2 are adorable together". Caitlyn complimented. Little Ekko and Powder blushed as the rest of the family laughed at their expense.

"Hey little man, who will be your best man at the wedding? Me or Claggor?" Mylo teased. Everybody laughed harder at that while Mylo and Claggor playfully argued over who would bee a better best man.

Older Ekko just sighed, he had a feeling that this would keep going, no point in getting worked up about it anymore.

The scene ended with Ekko gently wiping off a bit of Axle grease from Powders chin.

"Is that it?" Teenage Vi asked, her voice rich with disappointment.

The projection began with the inside of a bedroom, soft sunlight was shining through a window as A teenage Powder slowly woke up. She was still beat after their last raid on the Shimmer stashes.

"Oh never mind." Teenage Vi corrected herself.

"Is this... Her  16th birthday?"  Ekko wondered to himself. If that was the case... Oh boy.

"Cool." Little Ekko said as they saw Teenage Powder. He wouldn't say it aloud, but he though she looked really pretty.

Powders bedroom door burst Open as Ekko and several other people ran in holding up A plate of Pancakes.

"Up and at them Pow!" A girl with Pink hair exclaimed with a giggle. Powder practically flew out of bed in surprise and landed on her butt in shock.

Powder felt annoyed at the fact that her friend and some other people had startled her in her room. She could have to make sure that Ekko understood that she hated that kind of stuff. Although from the looks of it they had brought her Pancakes, a rarity in Zaun.

"Who are they?" Adult Vi asked Ekko.

"That's Eve, Scar, Mallick, and me." He explained. "Me and Powder are the Leaders of the Firelights, they are out most trusted friends." He turned to Powder.

"Eve is actually one of your closest friends, you once told me about how she reminded you of Vi."

Adult Vi felt hurt at those words. Did... did her Powder replace her? No, that was her sister. Pow was still her sister.

Right?

"What the fuck is wrong with you People!?!" Powder shouted as she got up from the floor. Eve held out her hand and pulled the blue haired girl up from the ground.

"It's your birthday!" Eve exclaimed as she hugged the blue haired girl. "We wanted to surprise you!"

"Pows birthday..." Vi thought with grief. She had missed so many. She had to make it up to Powder.

She had to find a way.

"About how long after the last memory is this?" Benzo asked Ekko.

"About a month."

"16 is a big birthday!" Scar exclaimed as he gave her a playful noogie. Powder threw his arm off and fought her way out of the group hug. But she couldn't keep the smile off of her face as she collected her Pancakes from Ekko.

"Thank you for remembering." She whispered to Ekko. He just laughed and watched as she finished her Pancakes.

Finding the mix for that stuff had not been easy. He had to sneak to Topside and find a store that sold food. Then he had to sneak in and take it off of a shelf without being spotted by the patrolling Enforcers or regular citizens. That had been so difficult, but it was worth it to see Powders beautiful smile.

Little Ekko nodded approvingly at that, he would sneak into Piltover for her. Even if meant danger, he would always face it for her.

The scene shifted between several moments of the day. Powder being thrown into the air by the collection of Eve, Scar, Ekko and several of their other friends. The group blowing up balloons and throwing them around, and a friendly game of ball as the group threw it at each other.

The moment felt Bittersweet to Adult Vi. Her sister looked so happy. But VI wanted to be able to make her sister that happy herself. What if... No

She couldn't think about that. It would crush her if it was true.

The scene cut to Powder and Ekko sitting side by side near a campfire. It was nighttime, and they were gazing up at the stars.

"Hey." Ekko whispered to Powder. 'I have one more surprise for you."

"Oh really?" Powder giggled.

"yup, but it's not here. It's in Zaun."

Powder eyes her friend suspiciously. Going into the Undercity was mostly dangerous with Silco controlling it. But if Ekko was inviting her in to go, then there must be something Incredible.

Adult Ekko could feel his Anxiety rising. This was the event that happened 4 days, 2 hours 13 minutes, and 43 seconds ago since he arrived here.

Oh no.

Powder Grinned and stood up to grab her board. As she walked over to the Exit Ekko was already there.

"Let's go." He whispered to her. She giggled and together they took off.

"The happiest moment of my life." Ekko whispered fondly. The others in the room looked at him expectantly. He figured he would just let them see it for themselves.

Although he prayed that the waterfall wouldn't show to much.

"So what is this surprise?" Powder playfully asked as they jumped off of a tall building.

Vander, Benzo, and Violet tensed at the sight. Thankfully nothing happened to the kids.

Their boards activated and they began to zoom through Zaun. "What you want to spoil your surprise before we get there?"

"I don't know?" Powder giggled.

The 2 of them noticed a lot of tightly compacted buildings, that Gave Powder an Idea.

"How about you show me some of your skills?" She challenged. Ekko grinned at that. "Your on Pow!"

The 2 of them zoomed right through a Narrow Alley. In a second spread across infinity, Powder rolled in the air with her board as she gave Ekko such a sweet Upside down smile that he thought his heart might burst.

Both of them proceeded to hop off of their boards and raced across the rooftops, as they reached the end of the building block, they jumped off again and Glided up and around a metal Water Tower.

"Did you see my moves back there?" Powder asked playfully. Ekko just looked at her with so much love and affection that he felt he couldn't contain it, his blue bird deserved the world. He loved her so much.

"Yeah." He whispered, his voice tight with emotion.

"Yeah I saw you."

"Good Janna their disgustingly cute." Teenage Vi whispered. Adult Ekko just looked at the Waterfall with so much happiness. That was truly the best day of his life.

Caitlyn felt so happy at seeing that although these 2 kids had undergone horrible tragedies, they still found safety and love in each other.

The 2 of them rode until they came across the old Water mill. The one place that stood right on the border of Zaun and Piltover. The last neutral place on earth.

"What are we doing here Tuff Tuff?" Powder asked. In response, Ekko took her hand and led her to a part of the Mill that he had decorated. Powder gasped as she saw the wall.

Ekko had Spray painted the tree in Great detail. In front of the tree stood Powder, not a shy or abrasive Powder, but one that seemed so confident and full of life. And at her side stood Ekko, who looked like he had the whole world right beside him.

"That's an amazing Picture Little man." Vander said approvingly. Ekko just nodded, his body stiff. If the waterfall kept going...

Everybody in here would probably kill him.

"I wanted to say thank you Ekko." Powder began. Ekko looked at her expectantly.

"You always make me believe that everything can be ok. You always believe in me, even when it feels like I'm being swallowed by darkness, you always drag me back to the light."

Little Ekko and Powder slowly put their hands together. They loved each other, they were to young to really do anything about it, but they both knew that they would always be there for each other.

No matter what.

Ekko smiled softly at that and softly brushed his hand with hers. She took it and gave him a squeeze as they both stared intently into each others eyes.

"Oh shit." VI gasped. She knew that look, she knew what was about to happen. It felt so amazing to see them so in love, so close to kissing. It only felt like yesterday that she had been hosing the 2 trouble makers down after they got themselves covered in grease.

Vander couldn't help the small smile that creeped across his lips. Even though a part of him resented the fact that his little girl would grow up and start A life with somebody who she was in love with, because he'd always feel like no one could ever be good enough for her, he couldn't deny the fact that seeing Felicia's baby girl look so happy and at peace with a boy he himself had also watched grow up and who looked at her like she hung every star in the sky filled his chest a warm fondness.

Ekko slowly placed his hand under her chin. He looked into her eyes with a desperate longing, praying that he could break that distance. Powder gave him such a warm smile that he couldn't take it anymore. He brought his face closer to hers until their lips pressed against each other. He felt incredible, it was like he was floating up to heaven, every worry left him. Every single dark memory or nightmare was gone. The only thing that mattered was this moment.

Powder's face flushed with a  deep blush as she stared at the Waterfall like a Deer in headlights. She covered her face in her hands as she looked away. Her face burned so much, but it was nothing compared to her heart that felt like it was going to burst out of her chest.

Little Ekko was no better. His Jaw was practically on the floor as he stared at the projection in shock. His cheeks burned with a bright red blush, but he felt so amazed at seeing the moment he had wanted for so long. His heart was unable to slow its crazy fast beating.

Powders pink lips moved softly over Ekko's, her hand moving down to the back of his neck playing with the small white hairs there. Ekko wrapped his arms around her as he gently caressed her body.

Eventually they separated their lips from each other. But their eyes still shone with the burning desire to be near each other. Powder broke the distance again as she intensified their kiss. Powder softly bit the bottom of his lip which caused him to start feeling things that he had never felt before.

The atmosphere which had been loving and soft quickly turned tense in the room where everybody was watching the projection. Adult Vi went from happy and dreamy to Tense and angry in a second. The air surrounding both of the kids was not pleasant.

Teenage Vi felt herself tense at the sight, this better not be going where she thought it was.

A cold chill ran through Vander and Benzos backs. For the love of Janna those two kids better not be about to do what they thought they were going to do.

Adult Ekko couldn't help but gently smile at the memory. That event that happened 4 days, 2 hours 13 minutes, and 43 seconds ago from the time he had been brought to this strange place would always be in his mind. He would never forget it.

Ekko Gently leaned back so that he could lift Powder up as he carried her to a room in the back. A small cot was there from the few times that the Firelights would come by here in an attempt to stake out Silcos Shimmer business. Ekko gently placed Powder on the cot as he climbed on. He brought his hand to the skirt that she was wearing but stopped himself before he could do anything.

"Thank Janna." Vander thought to himself

He looked to Powder for Permission. She giggled and gave him a nod.

"Of course." Vander growled in his head. He pinched the bridge of his nose in attempt to maintain his composure.

"Ekko..." Adult Vi growled. "If you have any sense of Self preservation then this will not go any further."

Caitlyn couldn't help but feel tense at the sight. For the love of- They were just Teenagers! They shouldn't be doing this!

Ekko just resigned himself to his fate. He knew that he was probably a dead man.

Ekko kissed her again as he began to remove her clothes. Powder let out a soft moan as she began to straddle at Ekko's Pants.

The scene ended as Powder let out another soft gasp as Ekko placed Soft but Lustful kisses on her neck.

"Ekko you stupid son of a bitch, I swear if you actually did that." Adult Vi growled as she stormed up to him and grabbed him by the collar. Vander wanted to Intervene, but he felt that if he got close to Ekko he might kill the boy.

Ekko briefly considered lying, but he had never been able to bluff to Vi, she would always call him out on bullshit. But the way she held him made him think he was to young to die.

"I'm sorry..." Was the only thing he could say. All that did was confirm what everybody was already thinking.

"You fucking idiot!" Teenage Vi screamed as she Joined her adult counterpart in manhandling Ekko.

"16 YEARS OLD EKKO!!" Adult Vi screamed as she shook him by the collar. "DID YOU SERIOUSLY SLEEP WITH MY 16 YEAR OLD SISTER YOU DUMB FUCKING TEENAGER!!"

"You fucking bastard! I didn't need that in my head!!" Mylo shouted, he and Powder may not really get along but that was still his damn sister.

Claggor tried to keep his brother and Sister calm but he was doing a real poor job at that. Obviously it was uncomfortable to Think that Little man And Pow Pow had relations with each other, but gutting the boy like a fish wouldn't undo anything.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING YOU DUMB SON OF A BITCH!!!" Adult VI screamed. She kept shaking and cursing him until A voice spoke up.

"Ok maybe we should rationalize this a little." Caitlyn said as she approached the Screaming Violets. Adult Vi turned to her with murder in her eyes, but Caitlyn kept going.

"Yes he's an Idiot for doing that, but don't forget that they were 2 hormonal teenagers with no Adult supervision and they are in Love. It was reckless, but can you really blame them?"

Adult and Teenage Vi were seething with fury, but eventually Teenage Vi stormed back to her chair and sat while muttering about Dirty boys with grubby hands.

Adult Vi on the other hand Pulled Ekko close to her face and growled "You fucking Idiot, you do any more stupid shit and I swear I'll kill you." With that she stormed back to her seat and glared daggers Into Ekko for sleeping with her sister, and Caitlyn for not letting her rip the teenager apart.

"Never thought I'd see the day where I owed a Topsider my life." Ekko mumbled. Caitlyn just gave him an apologetic look and walked back to her seat. She caught a hushed "Thank you." from Benzo and she gave him a small smile.

"Don't kill the boy for his mistake Vander." Benzo pleaded to Vander who was still glaring Daggers into Ekko.

"Well what do you expect from me? That Idiot slept with my baby. They are still Teenagers for Janna's sake" Vander ranted in a tired tone, bringing his hand to his face and rubbing it hard. Calm. He needed to stay Calm.

"If he does something stupid again then we fucking kill him, Benzo be damned." Teen Vi whispered to her siblings. Mylo nodded angrily while Claggor Just sighed. "Vi, it happened. It sucks, but it happened. We should just make sure that our Ekko and Powder don't do anything like that." He reasoned.

Speaking of Little Ekko and Powder, the boy was hiding from his family in the corner of the cavern while his face felt like it was on fire. He had never been so embarrassed in his life. He had finally kissed Powder, but it had been on full display for the full family. And now his older Version of himself was probably getting violently murdered or something, he couldn't tell. He was hiding.

Powder was hiding on the opposite end of the Cavern while blushing like crazy. She had finally kissed Ekko, yet for some reason her whole family was about to kill his older self. She really didn't get why but she sure as hell didn't want to have to see her own Ekko or her heart might stop.

Eventually Teenage Violet collected the 2 of them and brought them back to the waterfall. To their relief nobody teased them over what had happened. Although they were feeling way to flustered to sit near each other, Powder sat near Teenage Vi while Little Ekko sat at Benzo's feet.

Adult Ekko felt bad that he had soured their relationship, but before he could say anything about it, the Waterfall began to Project again.

The scene started with the Entrance to the Firelights Tree. Ekko opened the door and stood aside as a Disheveled Powder walked in, avoiding the eye contact that he so desperately tied to make with her. Ekko grimaced with worry, had he ruined his relationship with her? Had he pushed her Into something that she wasn't ready for?

Adult Ekko felt ashamed at the thought. If Powder had only gone through with it to make him feel better? He would never forgive himself.

Adult Vi didn't know what to feel. On one hand she was Glad that Ekko was taking Powders feelings into Consideration, but on the other she really wanted to hold him Underwater until the bubbles stopped coming up.

Eve ran up to Powder and hugged her. "Pow! I couldn't find you or Ekko last night! What happened?" She asked worriedly. Powder just looked at her and said "He took me into Zaun and showed me a Picture he Painted of the tree and us. We were really tired when we got there so we just spent the night at the Watermill. Sorry I worried you."

The Pink haired girl just sighed with relief and asked to be given a heads up next time. Powder walked over to her room and shut the door. Ekko watched her go Miserably, he just wanted to comfort and talk to her. Maybe apologize if that's what she needed.

The scene then cut to Powder who was sitting against her front door. She kept thinking about last night. She enjoyed it, she really did. But only after it was over had she realized just what it meant. Their relationship was clearly changing. She loved Ekko, She really did! But their night together had deeper meaning then the love they had for each other from when they were kids. And she wasn't sure whether that was good or bad.

"Ohhh, that's it." Ekko thought to himself feeling relieved. He thankfully hadn't hurt her. Although her worry wasn't something that he shared himself. If their relationship was growing then surely that was a good thing?

"I see where she's coming from." Vander said. "When your young, something as delicate and beautiful as love can seem like a difficult thing to manage. I think you should just talk to her and air out your feelings to each other. It's obvious that you love her, and she loves you to. You 2 just need to explain to each other that your willing to grow together."

Ekko gave the man a thankful nod. Growing up was terrifying, but it was something that they had been doing quickly. But the growth of a Relationship? That wasn't something that grew up as quickly as the Kids of Zaun.

Powder just sighed as she remembered how devastated Ekko looked when she refused to look at him on the ride back. She would have to apologize and explain how she was just sorting through her feelings, it had nothing to do with him.

"Thank Janna I didn't do anything that hurt her." Ekko breathed relieved.

"You 2 kids still shouldn't have slept together." Benzo angrily replied. Ekko just blushed and looked away.

Little Ekko and Powder had been listening to the conversation on the waterfall with Interest. They looked at each other and felt a lot more comfortable. They loved each other, and just because their relationship was changing didn't mean that their feelings had to change.

Powder slowly scooted next to little Ekko until they were sitting together again, shoulders lightly brushing.

The Scene darkened and eventually was left blank. Eventually it showed Ekko sitting on a root of the tree as he rewired his Hoverboard. Scar was standing next to him with a look of worry.

"Oh shit! That's where I was before we all got sent here!" Adult Ekko exclaimed. The others nodded as they realized what this meant: They were about to see the direct future, not just the further future like that fight against Sevika.

"I noticed you 2 have been avoiding each other recently." Scar said.

Ekko grimaced at that, they really were that obvious.

"What happened? You 2 have a spat or something?"

"No... I don't know. We... We did something- We- I think I may have screwed up with her." Ekko sighed.

Scar looked at his friend with concern in his eyes. What did Ekko do? His friend was both a genius and an Idiot, but he had his money on idiot for whatever was going on between his friends.

"Rude." Ekko chuckled as everybody else laughed. Both Vi's liked Scar, he seemed nice.

Ekko sighed as he put down his board. He wanted to talk about what happened, but that would be betraying a deep trust in Powder. That moment between them belonged to them, and them alone.

"A gentleman never tells." Beno agreed.

"Will this affect that new tip we got off of Crow?" Scar asked. Ekko shook his head, the Tip was to valuable to just pass up. He could set aside his own Personal crap for the sake of the mission.

"Oh shit! I totally forgot!!" Ekko shouted.

"What tip did you get?" Teenage Vi asked Ekko. "Our friend Crow found one of the Factories that produces Shimmer. The plan was to get in and light one of the container tanks and watch the place blow."

Caitlyn grimaced at that. It was a good thing that Ekko and Powder were fighting against Silco, but she still didn't get why they couldn't report this to the Enforcers. Maybe when she became an Enforcer she could work on bettering the relationship between the Undercity and the Enforcers. Trust was necessary in order for Piltover to Protect it's undercity Citizens

The Scene then cut to a Large group of Firelights that were preparing for the raid, 12 in total. Ekko and Powder were at the front of the group. Ekko and Eve would lead and take charge of Destroying the Shimmer during the Raid while Powder and Scar ran Security for their group.

"Your raid groups are rather organized?" Vander questioned Ekko approvingly. Ekko nodded, he and Powder had spent time learning how to fight and move quickly with the boards. Powder was dangerous with those Pistols that she had made. and thanks to those Crystal bombs of hers, they were able to restrain bigger threats withe ease.

"Ekko... After the raid can I talk to you?" Powder asked. Ekko gave her an enthusiastic nod, maybe he would get to make things right with her.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Benzo murmured and Vander nodded his head in agreement. Ekko just looked at the men with concern. What was setting them off?

The next scene showed the group standing in the Darkness above a Cavern where a huge factory was set up. Even from where they were, they could see the Shimmer being packed and transported. The Factory ran deep into the ground in a dark and gloomy light.

Suddenly a man in a fancy Uniform walked out of the Factory followed by a Muscular woman.

Ekko and Powder identified Markus and Sevika.

"What's Markus doing in that horrible place?" Caitlyn asked aloud. He seemed way to at ease to be conducting an Investigation.

'I told you." Ekko exclaimed, much more calmly because he owed the girl his life for saving him earlier. "Silco Pays the Enforcers to Hunt us. And who do you think gets that kickback?"

Caitlyn gasped as she realized what he was saying. It couldn't be true. Yet here the truth was, staring her in the face as Markus took a bag of Gold from Sevika and walked away.

She felt nauseous, what had become of the Enforcers?

"In and out." Ekko ordered as he slipped on his Owl mask. Powder dawned her Monkey mask as the others followed suit, Ekko took out his watch and let it start.

"5 minutes."

And with that the 12 of them immediately Stormed down into the Cavern on their boards. Ekko and Eve Immediately flew right into the deepest parts of the Factory in search of the Shimmer Tanks. Alarms were already sounding as many Angry men began to shoot at them.

Doing her Job, Powder slid across the Handrails of the Factory with her board as she hurled dozens of her Makeshift and Amber bombs, Either freezing people in place or blowing them away.

"Nice moves Pow." Teenage Vi exclaimed, squeezing her little sisters shoulder. Powder looked at her older self in awe, she looked so Powerful. Powder wanted that!

Scar took a more hands on approach as he Jumped off of his board and with his spear fought off half a Dozen men by himself.

"Woah that guy can fight." Mylo exclaimed. Ekko chuckled, when he and Powder had found Scar, the guy had been looking out for a small colony of kids. When they brought him to their tree, he had offered to make himself useful by teaching them close combat skills.

Powder had actually mixed Scar's teachings with her own marksman ship skills. Ekko loved her for that, she always found a way to adapt.

As Ekko and Eve arrived at the bottom, the Pink haired girl Flew to the top of a large bronze tank and cracked open the small hatch leading into it. "Shitload of Shimmer in here!" She shouted.

"Light it up!" Ekko ordered. As Eve readied her flare, Ekko just realized how many Pipes the Shimmer tank was connected to that led up to the top of the Factory.

He realized what might happen if they lit it.

"Oh shit!" Ekko shouted.

"What?" Adult Vi asked, things seemed to be going pretty well, she didn't get what the problem was. Powder began to explain as she realized the same thing.

"If they light up the Tank, then the Explosion will reach the top thanks to those Pipes that are transporting the shimmer to the top. The other Firelights might get caught in the explosion.

"Oh shit." both Vi's exclaimed.

"WAIT EVE!!! DON'T!!" Ekko shouted, but it was to late. Eve had already thrown in the flare and the Tank was rapidly heating up as Eve resecured the hatch.

"LIGHT THE OTHER FLARE EVE!!" Ekko shouted. "WE NEED TO GO!!"

Eve did as she was told, they lit the blue flare as the 2 of them glided out of the Storage at the bottom of the Cavern. But it was to late, As the other Firelights began to zoom back to the top, the Entire Factory exploded.

BOOM!!!!

"POWDER!! EKKO!!" Both Vi's screamed. Vander and Benzo Tensed at the sight of the Explosion. Were their kids ok?

Adult Ekko felt horrified at the sight. They would have to redesign the plan for getting at the Factory.

The scene cut to Powder who had fallen off of her board onto a bridge that cut across the center of the Cavern. She got up onto her knees as she spat out blood. A sick feeling of Nausea rolled over he as she looked around.

"Oh no..." She whispered. Mallick was lying a few feet in front of her, Most of his upper body was buried underneath a huge pile of Pipes and Rebar. He wasn't moving.

"Mallick..." Ekko whispered as tears began to fall from his eyes. That guy was a great friend, always willing to throw himself first into danger. They had found him while he was running from some of Silcos men in the sewers. They managed to lure Silcos guys out of the Pipes and they got Mallick to their tree.

Mallick had always looked out for them seeing as he was the eldest of the Firelights.

"No... no, no, no, no." Powder began to cry in Panic. "It was an accident, It was an accident, It was an accident, It was an accident." She cried.

"What?" Adult Vi whispered. Her sister looked so broken. Why couldn't she be there? Why did she have to get thrown into Stillwater instead of looking after her sister?

The screen began to flash as Powder's outburst turned into a full Panic attack. The image began to distort as several Scribbles covered the screen.

"What's happening? What's wrong with Pow?" Teenage Vi asked, demanding an explanation. Powder shuddered as she saw what was happening.

"I can't lose you." Vi's voice sounded out from nowhere. Powder looked around in fear as another image jumped at her.

"BECAUSE YOUR A JINX!!"

"She Jinxes every job!" Mylos voice sounded out, taunting her. Powder gripped her hair and pulled at it in hopeless Panic.

"Pow..." Adult Vi pleaded in terror and shame. She had done this, Powder was suffering because of her. Violet would never stop being ashamed and disgusted with what she had done.

Mylo felt anger at himself, he had been stupid. He needed to make things right with Powder.

Powder's face was streaming with tears when a foot connected with her face and sent her flying across the bridge.

"POWDER!!" Everybody shouted. Both Vi's were on their feet in an instant. Ekko reached for his non existent Pipe weapon, and Claggor and Mylo immediately positioned themselves around their own Powder.

Caitlyn let out a cry of shock. Who had done that?

Powder jumped to her feet, her tears subsiding as she realized who stood Infront of her.

Sevika.

"Filthy traitor!" Teenage Vi shouted, wanting to leap through the waterfall and tear the traitor apart limb by limb.

"Never thought I'd see you again brat." Sevika snarled as she marched forward, part of her face was matted with blood, she had been caught in the explosion.

Powder looked around in Panic, but she was pinned between Sevika and the pile of Rubble that was burying Mallick.

"You cost me my arm you cunt." Sevika growled as she threw of her Poncho revealing her Metal arm. "That's gonna cost you your windpipe."

"If she touches Powder I'll kill her." Adult Vi swore. Vander couldn't help but agree, if Sevika hurt his daughter...

He would kill her.

Powder drew a Long knife as she glared daggers into Sevika. She had lost her guns in the explosion and she was fresh out of bombs. Sevika smirked as her Arm glowed with the Purple of Shimmer.

"Bring it on brat."

Powder screamed as she charged right at Sevika. The older woman swung her arm, but Powder quickly ducked under and slashed her knife across a small cable in the woman's metal arm.

"Good moves." Benzo stated, the girl was going after Sevika's main weapon, her arm. Damaging it until it malfunctioned would be best for winning the fight. No way could she win a fight to the death against Sevika.

Sevika turned and swung again, But Powder stayed close as she slashed her knife across another Cable in Sevika's arm. This time however, the older woman kneed her in the chest and threw her by the back of her Jacket into the pile of rubble. Powder cried out in pain as she landed, but she could see that Sevikas arm was starting to fall apart.

"C'mon Powder." Mylo grumbled. His sister had to win this, she had to survive.

Powder got up again, clutching her side which was bleeding. That couldn't be good.

Powder ducked as Sevika swung again, she slashed her knife again and managed to get the Metal arm to start dripping Shimmer.

Sevika charged at her again, but this time Powder wasn't quick enough to avoid her as the woman grabbed her by the throat with her regular arm and slammed her into the ground. Powders knife slipped though her fingers and fell deep into the Cavern.

"POWDER!!" Everybody shouted again. Ekko was Cursing the shit out of himself. WHERE THE HELL WAS HE!?!

Vander snarled viciously. Why did he have to die? He left his daughters all alone against the cruel world.

Both of the Violets looked ready to Jump into the Waterfall and help their sister.

Sevika positioned herself until she was leaning her arm entirely onto Powder. Powder fought viciously to get Sevika's arm off of her, but the woman's grip was like Iron as she began to crush her throat. Powder tried to scream, but no air escaped her lungs as she felt herself begin to lose consciousness.

"Silco's gonna lose his shit when I bring him your head." Sevika grinned. "I'll get to spend a whole weekend straight at Babaettes with that kind of money."

Adult Vi gripped the armrest of her stone seat so hard it cracked. She would kill Sevika. SHE WOULD KILL HER!!

"Before you go, I want you to know that your dead because you fought to disarm me. It worked, but I on the other hand, was fighting to kill you."

Ekko looked away in shame at Sevika's words. He and Powder had already killed people before, it was unavoidable in the Lanes. But they had an unspoken rule. Avoid killing so that we don't become like Silco.

"Give your sister my regards." Sevika taunted as she tightened her grip. Powder could feel tears streaming down her face as her life flashed before her eyes. Running across rooftops with her family, Playing in the arcade, Talking with Vi, and of course, him.

Every memory had a flash of Ekko in it, all until that night they had spent together.

"I'm sorry my love." She tried to whisper. "I will never get to make things right with you."

"Powder..." Ekko sobbed aloud. WHERE WAS HE!?!?!

As Sevika felt Powders life drain before her eyes, A huge burst of Pain spread across her head. The scene widened as Ekko, without his Owl mask, Drove his Hoverboard right into Sevika's face, his eyes glistening with fury and rage.

"YES!!" Everybody screamed. Powder felt happy that Ekko had saved her, although she did wish she had been able to beat Sevika herself.

"Pow!!" Ekko screamed as he picked her up. He could feel a light Pulse in her, but it was small. He glared furiously at Sevika who was knocked out on the bridge. He wanted to kill her, he wanted to so badly. But he had to get Powder to Safety.

The scene ended as Ekko got on his board and Flew out of the Factory, 6 other firelights following behind him.

"Is Pow ok?" Little Ekko asked timidly. Nobody had a real answer to that. Before Caitlyn could say what she was thinking, the Waterfall started again.

Powder was lying on her bed, a few Ointments were rubbed along her cuts and bruises and a wet towel was placed on her forehead. Ekko was sitting beside her worriedly, he clutched her hand as the girl laid there, clearly unconscious.

"Please don't go..." Ekko whispered his eyes filled with tears. HE gently laid in the bed beside her, carefully making sure he didn't distort her rest.

He gently placed a kiss on her forehead as he continued to lie right next to her.

"I can't lose you."

Chapter Text

"Is she going to be ok?" Little Ekko asked again. Vander was terrified for his youngest daughter, Adult Vi was softly crying as she saw what her Pow Pow was going to go through. She had to be there, she had to get to Powder

No matter what.

"Actually I do believe that she will make it." Caitlyn suddenly said. Everybody turned to her with expressions of hope.

"Remember that first fight against Sevika that we saw? Ekko said that he didn't remember it, which means that it was in the further future." She explained. As everyone remembered the fight both Vi's let out sighs of Relief while Adult Ekko felt as if a mountain had been lifted off of him.

"Thanks cupcake." Adult Vi sighed happily. Caitlyn felt that same annoyance at the nickname, but for whatever reason, when Violet said it with no Venom in her voice... It felt nice.

The thought made her face blush as she looked away.

The Projection on the waterfall started up again.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" Eve was crying as she sat by Powders side. Ekko couldn't find it in his heart to blame the girl for what had happened, but he still felt Angry that her action had led to Powders injuries and the deaths of Mallick and the others. Still, he knew it was unfair to blame her for something he had ordered.

"Good on you for not blaming Eve." Powder said, she may not know the girl at all, but se felt a little protective of her future friend. Adult Ekko just nodded, he tried to be as fair and just as possible. Even when his feelings were telling him to act differently.

"Don't blame yourself Eve. If I had noticed the transport pipes sooner, then we may have avoided this. It was just bad luck, and everybody knew what they were signing up for when they came with us." Ekko calmly reasoned.

Eve just nodded miserably as she walked out of the room leaving Ekko and an Unconscious Powder alone. He walked over and sat by her bedside as Eve had been doing, his face tight with worry.

"I know she's gonna be ok, but damn does it hurt to see her like this." Teenage Vi exclaimed. Vander, Adult Vi and Ekko nodded, it really sucked to See Powder so Inured.

Little Ekko simply gripped Powders hand in an attempt to remind himself that she was safe and alive.

As Ekko was about to get up and leave, Powder made a soft grunt as her eyes slowly drifted open. Ekko was at her side in a heartbeat.

"Pow..." He whispered. In response, the blue haired girl turned to him with a small smile.

"Hey 'boy savior'." She gently teased. Ekko laughed with joy as he gently pulled her into a hug.

"I thought- I thought..." He whispered through his tears. Powder just leaned back and gently kissed him.

"I'm still alive Ekko. You can't get rid of me that easily." She teased.

Ekko just laughed in relief as he saw Pow gently joke with him. Good Janna it felt like he had just survived a hurricane or something. Vander and the Vi's just shook with relief, thank Janna Powder was ok.

"Ekko..." She whispered. Immediately Ekko leaned back so h could face her. "Yes?"

"About... that day." She started.

"Ugh, don't remind me." Teen Vi muttered, glaring at Ekko. Vander just sighed with disappointment at the young man while Benzo put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Look, I'm sorry if I forced you into that situation- I didn't mean to hurt you. i would never-" Ekko rambled, but Powder placed a hand on his face and shut him up.

"What? No, I wanted to explain that I enjoyed it. I did, but it scared me because it meant that our relationship was changing." She explained. Ekko just looked at her with shock and relief. H thanked Janna that he hadn't hurt his beloved.

"I can't enjoy you 2 being sappy with each other while remembering what you 2 idiots did." Adult Vi muttered, now sitting next to Caitlyn. Ekko just sighed and resigned himself to this new fate of trying to keep Vi from killing him.

"I love you Ekko, we both know that. But I was scared because the relationship we had was just so comfortable. So when we slept together... It felt like things were going to change. And you know how much that scares me."

Ekko just nodded along, taking every single word to heart. He would clearly need to discuss this with his Powder, they had to define what their relationship was.

"Well then... what can I do to make it better?" He asked. Powder just laughed and scooted in bed to make room.

"You can keep me company. Just... nothing else ok?" She whispered. Ekko nodded and climbed in beside her, the 2 of them curled up together and gently fell asleep in each others arms.

"Ekko..." Adult Vi grumbled. "I am willing to forgive you for sleeping with my sister seeing as you make her that happy."

Ekko gave her a thankful nod, he knew he had pushed it with Vi, but she thankfully wouldn't gut him like a fish.

The scene started up again with Powder throwing up into a toilet. Ekko was by her side holding back her hair as she barfed up her lunch. Eve and Scar looked on with worry from outside the bathroom.

"Any more?" Ekko asked worriedly. Powder just shook her head, then proceeded to barf even more.

"Uh oh." Benzo mumbled. The little lady seemed to still be in rough shape. Maybe a wound she had received from Sevika had gotten Infected?

Adult's Ekko and Vi looked at the Projection with worry. Was Powder ok?

"It's been 3 weeks." Scar whispered to Ekko. "Maybe we should find the medicine woman from the Fringes."

"3 weeks?" Vander worried aloud. He hoped his daughter was ok. Also, a medicine woman in the fringes?

Ekko nodded grimly. He didn't want to risk bringing Powder out into Zaun while she was sick, but they needed to bring her seeing as they had no clue what was wrong with her.

"I'll take her, you and Eve stay here and keep an eye on things." Ekko ordered Scar. He nodded and walked of. Ekko leaned over to powder who had finished vomiting.

"Were going to go see the medicine woman, alright?" He whispered gently. The blue haired girl just nodded, hoping she could get pills or something to help her.

"I hope it's just nausea." Vander exclaimed. If it was simply an Infection then perhaps some Herbs could help her.

"Why don't you just take her to a doctor?" Caitlyn asked Ekko. The boy gave her an annoyed look as he explained "We don't have doctors in the lanes. Only a few people that can make do with the few herbs and other crap that they can get their hands on. And were not allowed in Piltovers hospitals."

Caitlyn grimaced at that. She didn't want to believe it, but seeing this whole new side of Piltover, from its neglect to it's corruption as seriously making her wonder whether the council was doing a good job at running Zaun.

The next scene showed Ekko and Powder walking through Babettes, both of them had a hood on as they passed through the rooms were various people were... "Enjoying" themselves.

"Good Janna Ekko!" Benzo shouted. "You took her to a brothel!?" Ekko just looked at the scene with confusion, what was going on.

Ekko had no Idea why the medicine woman had sent them here. she had asked Powder about her symptoms and had felt along her back and belly. According to her, they had to hand off a note to Babette so the Yordle could confirm something.

"That's odd." Vander said aloud. "Why would a medicine woman send some kids to a Brothel?"

Ekko didn't get it, but Powder seemed kind of eager to see one of Vander's old friends again after 4 Years of no contact.

Vander smiled softly, he trusted Babette, he knew that she would help the kids with whatever they needed. Benzo hoped that nobody would recognize the pair, the last thing they needed was a scandal that the heirs of the 2 leaders of the Underground prancing around a brothel.

Powder and Ekko moved through the brothel until they arrived at the end of the hall, walking through the curtains to the office they saw a Yordle going over some papers. The Yordle looked up at them and quickly recognized them.

"Well would you believe it." She chuckled. Powder moved forward and wrapped Babette in a tight hug which the Yordle returned.

"Glad to see that Babette stayed loyal to Vander." Adult Vi said approvingly.

The scene cut to Powder sitting on the Yordles Desk while Ekko fiddled around nervously as Babette went over the note that the Medicine woman had given them. As she read the note, the pair couldn't help but hear her gasp as she saw something.

"What happened?" Powder asked nervously.

"I hope it's nothing bad." Little Ekko said worriedly.

Vander and Benzo could feel that familiar confusion return to them. Why would a medicine woman send the kids to Babette for confirmation on an Injury? The brothel wasn't a place of Medicine, the only thing somebody would go there for other than a good time would be for a-

Vander's breath hitched in his throat.

Benzo felt like somebody had just kicked the air of his lungs.

A cold sense of Deja Vu swarmed over Vander and it was Unpleasant.

"To A night of Revelations." Vander toasted to Silco and Felicia. They clinked their glasses and Vander downed his drink.

"I'm knocked up." Felicia suddenly said.

Vander and Silco looked at each other in Shock. Holy crap, their sister was Pregnant.

"Holly shit my daughter might be pregnant." Vander thought in his head. It couldn't be. He and Benzo looked at each other in shock. They both refused to believe that Powder was Pregnant. Not. Without. Confirmation.

"What's wrong?" Ekko asked, nervous that something might have happened. Babette slowly folded up the paper as she glared Venom into Ekko. The boy backed away nervously as the Yordle began to speak.

"Little blue?"

"Yeah?" Powder asked timidly. The Yordle took a deep breath as she attempted to keep her composure.

"Did you and Ekko have sex?"

Adult Vi realized what Babette was asking. Her train of thought stopped and she felt a sudden vertigo, the ground seemed to disappear beneath her feet as the blood drained from her face. She turned to Ekko in shock.

"Your fucking kidding me." She gasped. Caitlyn had reached the same conclusion as her eyes grew wide.

"Umm..." Powder stammered. The Yordle just held her hand up, the answer was written on the teenager's faces. She closed her eyes as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"Oh Powder..." The Yordle moaned with worry. She looked at the blue haired girl with worry and sorrow.

"I think your Pregnant."

Gasps of shock flew across the room.

It took a second for Ekko to process the words, but when he did they hit him like a truck. The blood rushed out of his face, he felt winded. What? What?

"What?" Powder gasped. Ekko almost fell over. What the fuck.

Babette reached into a drawer and handed Powder a Plastic stick with a Pink tip. "Pee on that, then we will know for sure."

The blue haired girl looked at the stick with horror as she went to a small bathroom in the office and followed the instructions.

The next scene showed all 3 of them staring at the test that was on Powders lap. It had a small plus sign in the little window.

Ekko couldn't believe what he had heard. He was barely processing this as cold sweat spilled all over him. Powder was Pregnant.

His love was Pregnant with his child.

"Holly shit I brought a Pregnant woman with me on a raid." He realized aloud.

And just like that, all hell broke lose.

Notes:

So I'm debating having a whole Intermission like chapter where practically everybody beats the shit out of Ekko, or continuing with the story as I already am with the reactions AND with a decent amount of Ekko beatings. Let me know what you think.

Oh, I'm also debating on doing something with this recent revelation. It's just an Idea, but I think it would be hilarious. 😁

Don't forget to comment! I like seeing that in my Gmail instead of Collegeboard and Scam mail! 😁

Chapter 8: "Our baby..."

Notes:

What I should probably mention is that I am making this up as I go. So let me know if you want to see anything in particular.

Chapter Text

As the Projection ended, Ekko felt joy and shock. He was a father, he was going to be a father! He was going to have a child with Powder! What would it look like? what would it sound like?

In his thoughts, Ekko didn't see what was about to happen until A hand with a grip as strong as iron wrapped around his throat and dragged him out of his seat.

"lEt GO OfF mE!" He tried to shout as he fought With adult Vi who was dragging him away from the viewing area.

As he went to swing at her, Teenage Vi grabbed his arm as Mylo grabbed his other one, together the 2 teenagers pulled him to the ground and held him there as Adult Vi began to mercilessly beat him.

"YOU LITTLE IDIOT!!!" She screamed as she kept Wailing on the teenager. She was angry, she was BEYOND Angry.

"YOU FUCKED MY LITTLE SISTER AND GOT HER PREGNANT YOU BASTARD!" Teen Vi screamed as she brutally slammed Ekkos arm into the hard ground. Mylo was just Holding down his other arm while Adult Vi kept bashing his face in.

Ekko looked around desperately for help, only to see Benzo, Caitlyn, little Ekko and Claggor Barely managing to hold back a raging Vander who had murder in his eyes. Benzo Grabbed Vander by his arm and Held him Firmly in place while Claggor Little Ekko, and Caitlyn tried to stop him from advancing.

"LET GO OF ME!!" Vander roared. "HE GOT MY BABY PREGNANT!!"

Ekko normally would have just accepted his fate, but he had just become a father. His Powder would need him, and he wanted to be there for her.

Using his legs, he kicked his lower body forward while bringing his upper body further back, weakening the teenagers grip on his arms just enough for him to break free. Adult Vi saw this however and grabbed him by the shoulders as he tried to get away, grabbing him by the neck and throwing him on the ground again.

"YOU STUPID IDIOT!!" She screamed as she dragged him back onto the floor and kept slamming him against it.

Ekko was worried that Vi might actually kill him when a shout broke through all of the Turmoil.

"STOOOPPP!!!!" Powder screamed so loud that everybody actually stopped fighting. The Adults couldn't believe that Powder could be so loud.

"If you kill him then that future me will have to deal with the Pregnancy all alone!" She shouted, her voice angry at the thought that her own family might kill the adult version of the boy she loved and leave her future self alone with dealing with something so serious.

Vander knew that his daughter was right (As much as he hated it), so he just grumbled to be released and walked back to his seat, to Benzo's relief. Caitlyn Claggor and Little Ekko let out sighs of Relief. Vander was strong.

Teenage Vi and Mylo, who hadn't considered what Powder had just mentioned walked sheepishly back to their own seats leaving Adult Vi, who was still gripping Ekko by the collar of his shirt. Caitlyn walked up to the still tense woman and put a gentle hand on her forearm.

"Please Vi. Just let him go."

Adult Vi snarled with fury as she threw Ekko to the ground again and walked away. Not before growling "You got VERY Lucky there Idiot."

Ekko just got up from the floor and Shambled back to his seat. His face was swollen, he had a bruise on his Jaw and his arm was Hurting. But all of that pain was nothing compared to his still relevant shock over what the Projection had just shown.

He was going to be a dad.

"Are you alright Ekko?" Benzo asked him worriedly, Ekko just gave him a tired nod. He was pretty mad with most of his family, but he figured he deserved it for having sex as a teenager.

Adult Vi was glaring daggers into Ekko, but even she had to admit that Powder was right. Killing him would leave that child without a father.

Maybe she should apologize to him.

Little Ekko and Powder were still in disbelief. They had a child together?

Before anybody could do anything, the Waterfall projection started up again

The scene began with Ekko and Powder back at the tree, they were sitting on her bed together, Ekko was gently running his hand over her belly.

"Our baby..." He whispered softly in awe. Powder just softly smiled, there was still a lot to discuss over this child's future.

"What's there to discuss? Were going to be parents." Ekko said out loud. At that Vander just ran his hand over his face and sighed.

"Ekko, I would like to see my Grandchild, but you also need to Consider how Powder might feel about this. Maybe she doesn't want to bring this life into the world."

Ekko wanted to argue, but Vander raised a good point. Powder would be the one carrying their child. As much as Ekko wanted to keep it, Powder would have the final say in what happened to it.

"I think I would keep it." Powder replied to the group. Everybody looked at her in shock, would she really want to have a baby? Little Ekko just smiled at that and scooted closer to her.

"Oh great." Vander grumbled. "I'm going to have to keep them away from each other when they become Teenagers." Adult Vi just grinned and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"So..." Powder began. Ekko looked up at her to let her know that he was listening. "What should we do?"

Ekko wanted to Insist that they keep it, but he didn't want to pressure Powder into anything. He really wanted to be a dad to this baby, but he needed to know if Pow even wanted to be a mom.

"I would like to keep it, but I need to know what you want." He explained. Powder smiled at that and Laced her fingers through his.

"I want to keep it too. But what if something happens to it?" She whispered, the fear evident in her voice. Ekko gripped her hand firmly. "I would NEVER let anything happen. I would always be here for you, the both of you."

"Well I'm glad you will be there for Powder." Adult Vi begrudgingly admitted. Ekko couldn't find comfort in her words, she had just been beating him senseless a few minutes ago.

Adult Vi was starting to feel seriously guilty for what she had done.

"I hit someone I love again." She grumbled in her head. Caitlyn placed a hand on her shoulder in an attempt at comfort.

Powder felt happy at his words, but she was still worried. The world was dangerous and cruel, Silco was Poisoning their home. Could she really bring a life into such a cruel Environment? Would that make her a horrible Person?

"Of course it wouldn't..." Ekko mumbled worriedly. Would he never get to see his child?

Ekko seemed to figure out what she was thinking. He gently wrapped his hand around hers. "Pow, do you Remember why we built this place?"

"Yeah, to give the people of the Undercity a second chance." She replied. Ekko nodded and continued.

"Yeah, a second chance at life and family. I think this baby could be something like that, a way to bring up more of our family."

Powder smiled happily at that. She did want to bring up her own family, hopefully with her own Ekko. But from the way Vi and the others had reacted, she figured that they could wait until they were 20 or something.

Powder playfully scoffed at his words. But she had to admit, she had always wanted a family of her own. With her own kids and somebody that she loved. And here was that chance to have one with Ekko, the man she loved.

"Oh thank Janna..." Ekko whispered with relief. They would do it. They would be parents.

"Well I guess that makes us grandfather's." Vander said to Benzo. Oh Janna he was a grampa, Janna help him. Benzo just laughed, he liked the sound of "Grand-Pop Benzo."

"Well... what do we tell the others?" She nervously asked. Ekko felt nervous at that thought. Scar probably wouldn't take it well. The Chirean might beat him up for sleeping with Powder while they were still Teenagers. Eve would probably kill him, then be super excited for the baby with Powder.

"Well hopefully they beat you up a bit." Teenage Vi said. Ekko just sighed, he was lucky to get out of his family's wrath alive, he wouldn't start up with Teen Vi.

The scene cut to Eve and Scar sitting in the room with the 2. Scar had a look of shock on his face, Eve looked like somebody had just pulled the world out from under her. In a second, she decked Ekko across the face and grabbed him by the collar.

"You Idiot!" She screamed as she shook him. "Your both Fucking teenagers! You had Sex!?!"

"Well at least I know what to expect when we get back to our times." Ekko groaned as Teenage Vi and Mylo laughed at his misfortune.

"I like her." Teen Vi laughed, Mylo had to agreed with that as he chuckled.

"Eve." Scar said tiredly as he pulled her off of Ekko. "You can kill him later, right now we need to know what's going to happen with the baby." He looked at the 2 expectantly. Powder who was still laying down on her bed (By Ekkos insistence) Held her hand out to him which he took.

"Were going to keep it." She said confidently. Ekko couldn't keep the smile off of his face as she said that.

Scar and Eve looked at the both of them surprised. They didn't think that they would want to be parents, but then again people grew up quickly in Zaun.

"Yes people grow up quickly, but that's still no reason to have not used protection." Benzo tiredly complained. Ekko just blushed and looked away.

"And on that note, your not going to leave the Compound until you give Birth." Ekko immediately said. Powder gave him a look of defiance. "You can't do that!"

"Come on Pow, your Pregnant. Your vulnerable, and a Pregnant lady shouldn't exert herself." Ekko defended. Powder knew he only had her best interest in mind, but it still sucked that she wasn't going to be able to go out into Zaun. She would be bored out of her mind just staying in the compound.

"Well it could be a chance for her to relax a little bit." Little Ekko said. The others in the Viewing area nodded accordingly.

"It's just until you give birth." Ekko said. Powder sighed and let out a nod of agreement. At that Eve was at her side in a second staring at her belly.

"Wow... my friend is going to have a baby." She whispered. Powder smiled and took the girls hand to let her feel her belly.

Adult Vi couldn't help but feel bitter Jealousy at the sight of this "Eve" person feeling her sisters pregnant belly. It should be Vi, she should be there with her sister. She should be scolding them for not using protection, she should be there feeling her baby sisters pregnant belly.

"Well, this probably is the best place to bring up a child." Eve acknowledged. The others nodded, the Oasis provided them with Fresh air, clean drinking water, and best of all lots of sunlight.

"Wait how is the community going to react to this?" Scar suddenly said. "Well..." Eve started. "The kids will probably be really excited for the baby, AND they can keep Powder company." Powder seemed to like the sound of that.

"And us Young adults?" Scar asked. Eve just shrugged, she didn't know how they would react. She just hoped that nobody else would follow in these idiots footsteps.

"With any luck they should beat you up Ekko." Teen Vi said. Ekko just groaned as Little Ekko and Powder laughed at his misfortune.

"How many people live with us?" Powder asked. "About 80 or so." Ekko said. He was hoping that as they got older they would be able to Expand their home, but that would mean having to get more food available.

"That's a lot of food then." Little Ekko said.

"Actually, what is your food situation?" Vander asked. He needed to make sure that his Grandchild would grow up healthy, or at least as healthy as Zaun would allow.

Ekko also seemed to be considering this as Vander asked. "Well the tree produces Fruit, not a whole lot but enough to help sustain a community. And we grow our own Vegetables and fruit around the Pond so nobody goes hungry."

"Wait so you have FRESH food on your plates?" Adult Vi asked in shock. Ekko nodded, but he was to busy thinking to really pay attention to Vi. How much would a Pregnant lady need to eat? Enough for 2 People? Was that how it worked?

Caitlyn was going to ask why having fresh food was such an amazing thing, until she remember what Vander had said about the lack of Plant growth. Good Grief! Had Piltover really let it's own people sink to such a horrible state? And why? Because they lived on the other side of a River?

It was wrong. It was plain wrong. When she got home, she would need to talk to her mother about making some reforms.

Month 2 of the Pregnancy.

Ekko perked up at the sight of the Projection. Would he get to see what Powder would go through? At least he wouldn't screw up as much.

"So at this point she is 2 months along." Vander acknowledged. The early months of A pregnancy were definitely the most riskiest moments, but from what Ekko had said, the Firelights would be able to take care of her.

Powder was sitting down on a small rocking chair on a balcony of one of the houses in the Tree. She was enjoying the warm sunlight shining down on her.

Her belly had begun to show a bit, not by much but it was progress. She heard the sound of footsteps and smiled. Ekko must have brought her some food.

"Wait she can tell your footsteps apart from everybody else?" Mylo asked. Ekko just sheepishly nodded, he could do the same thing. To his surprise Mylo didn't tease him, he just seemed impressed.

Unfortunately Teenage VI didn't get the Memo. "Janna you two are sappy." She teased.

"Hey Pow." He said as he set down A plate of what seemed to be Fruit Jam on bread. One of Powders favorites.

She took a slice of bread and scooted over to make room for Ekko on the chair. He sat down Next to her as the 2 of them began to eat their bread.

"A girl." Powder suddenly said.

Vander felt a sudden sense of Deja Vu, and this time he DIDN'T want to kill somebody after feeling it. A girl... Oh Felicia.

Ekko looked at her with Confusion. "A girl?"

"The baby." She said as she touched her belly. Ekkos eyes lit up with shock and awe as he gently touched her belly. "How do you know?"

"I just do. It wasn't really a part of our plan, but I guess that's everything when your living week to week."

"Practically Word for word." Vander chuckled affectionately, he could feel a few stray tears rolling down his face.

"A girl..." Ekko whispered in Awe. He would have his own little Daughter. What would she look like? What would she sound Like?

As Everybody continued to watch the scene, Ekko knew that nothing would ever be the same again (For the 8th time this week). But he knew that no matter what, he would be there for his Family.

For his girls. For His Unborn daughter and the woman he loved.

Chapter 9: "I'm gonna live forever in you, Long as the sky and oceans are blue."

Chapter Text

"I'm going to be a father." Ekko said in awe. A father to a little girl no less. A little Girl who would be as perfect as her mother and As smart as both of her parents.

"Something tells me you'll be a good dad Ekko." Benzo said approvingly. Ekko nodded gratefully as he imagined this daughter of his running around the tree. Playing with the other kids, and sleeping next to him and Powder at night. Good Janna he wanted it so badly.

"Hey Ekko..." Adult Vi began. Ekko looked at her expectantly.

"Sorry about... I'm sorry that I hurt you." She mumbled.

"It's fine, you hit like a damn animal, but I get it."

Vi seemed to relax a little bit at that. Ekko also caught few half hearted apologies from Teen Vi and Mylo. Claggor laughed at his siblings forced apologies which got him a few glares from them. Vander just sighed, he would apologize for attempting to rip the boy apart later.

Little Ekko and Powder were waiting for the next projection to start. They wanted to see more of this child of theirs.

Caitlyn felt intrigued by all of this, although she was wondering why she was even here seeing as most of this was centered round Powder and Ekko.

And with that, the Projection started up again.

Month 3 of the Pregnancy

"Are we going month by month?" Claggor asked. "I think we are son." Vander replied, he was hoping to see just how his daughter and Grand daughter would grow in this situation.

The scene started with Powder sitting in her room at her work desk as she flipped through the pages of a book. She seemed very content as she kept one hand gently placed on her belly which had grown just a bit. She seemed to be looking at the pictures of several cribs while making occasional noises of Interest.

"I kind of like that one." Little Ekko said as he saw the picture of a Crib that looked like an Airship. Powder nodded accordingly, she really wanted to ride an Airship one day, and sharing that dream with her daughter would be cool.

Adult Ekko liked the crib too, although he hoped that Powder would relax while he built it, she shouldn't be stressing about anything.

Powder set down her book as she began to weld together some Pipes into what appeared to be a part of a frame. As she set aside a piece of Pipe, Ekko walked in with a stack of books.

"What's with all the reading?" Adult Vi asked.

"Ok so I got a bunch of stuff off of some of the Midwives and Doulas from the Lanes, what they suggest is that you eat plenty and Don't stress yourself." He said as he set down the pile of books.

"What's with all the reading?" Powder asked.

Adult Vi snorted as her sister repeated her words. She liked that they thought the same a little bit.

"Just some stuff I picked up from them about what to expect during your pregnancy." Ekko explained as he flipped through a book. He put it down and scooted closer to Powder.

"I would prefer if you leave the Welding to me." He suggested. Powder gave him an annoyed look as she set down her Welding torch.

"I'm Pregnant Ekko, but my hands still work."

"I know but-"

"Ekko. I won't be able to do stuff like this soon. Just let me handle this until I physically shouldn't.

"Never challenge A Pregnant woman when she is doing something for her baby." Vander told Ekko. The young man nodded as he added that to his mental checklist. Don't piss of Powder when she is making the crib.

"At least let me help you." Ekko pleaded. Powder was seriously starting to get fed up with him, she understood that he was worried for her, but he was treating her like she was made of glass!

"But I worry..." Ekko mumbled. Surely he should be allowed to fuss over her a little bit?

"Well I wouldn't wat somebody treating me like a new born." Powder said approvingly. Little Ekko looked at her with concern. Shouldn't he be allowed to help her so that she wouldn't hurt herself?

"Ekko just let me do my own thing, ok?" She asked with a sharp tone. Ekko looked at her with worry as he nodded and left the room.

She pushed back her chair and sighed. Ekko was being an idiot, and now she didn't even get to discuss what kind of Crib they would make for the baby.

"Aw man..." Ekko groaned, by pissing off Powder he might have missed helping to design the crib.

Powder welded together some more Pipes until she had a stable and secure base for a crib. She was preparing the materials to actually add the bed to the crib when Ekko walked back in.

"Can I at least help with this part?" She was about to tell him off when he held up his hands "Not because I think you need it, but because I want to be a part of this."

Powder studied Ekko for a moment, he seemed sincere. "Sure, I was thinking we make it look like an Airship." Ekko looked eager at that and together the 2 of them fluffed out some plain white sheets and carved some Wood into the Bed Frame. Before long, the Crib looked like an actual Airship, with the tail and even a few Powerless fans that pinned when you moved them. The Balloon that held up the ship was just a few Blankets tied around a light wooden frame.

"Woah that looks sick." Mylo said approvingly. Claggor and Vi were also Impressed with the ingenuity of the kids.

"Awesome." Adult Ekko grinned. He loved that crib, it looked amazing. The Perfect place for his daughter to sleep in. After he checked it over and made sure that each one of the supports held firm. Because what if in the middle of the night one of them snapped and his daughter fell? Maybe he could reinforce them with some stronger Metal? Or weld them Into the floor of his room?

Damn it was terrifying to think of how everything could go wrong.

Vander and Benzo couldn't believe just how excited the 2 Teenagers were over the baby. They had designed an Incredible crib for their Grand daughter.

Most cases of Teenage Pregnancy in Zaun ended with either the fathers abandoning their children or with the mother aborting the fetus. It was rare to see a couple that was genuinely excited for the new arrival and prepared so greatly for it. Vander was happy that his Grand daughter would grow up in such a beautiful place, the oasis seemed like the Perfect place to raise a child. Benzo hoped that maybe part of this future could be possible in their own time, Minus the deaths, the teenage Pregnancy (He would have to give his own Ekko "The Talk" Much sooner) and all of the other mess that seemed to be everywhere in this future.

And Silco. He and Vander seemed to reach the same conclusion. They had to stop Silco before he could hurt their family.

"Ok we did pretty good." Ekko chuckled as he admired their workmanship. Powder had to admit that he was right.

"Look..." Ekko began. Powder raised an eyebrow at him as he began to explain himself. "It's not that I think your incapable, it's just... SO much has happened that I don't want to put your health at risk."

Powder affectionately rolled her eyes. She got that he wanted to keep her healthy for the baby, and she wanted to stay well to. But she enjoyed doing her own work, and she knew that before long she wouldn't be able to do it because of the growing baby in her belly.

"Well the little lady has a point. Benzo acknowledged. Vander and Ekko understood that she was right, but they would still prefer if she didn't exert herself.

Month 4

Powder was in her room sitting on her bed, she was gently caressing her belly which had grown considerably, Ekko was at her side staring at her belly as if it were made of pure gold. "Glad to see you little bunny." Powder whispered to her belly. "We were beginning to think that you wouldn't show up my love."

Ekko chuckled at that as he gently ran his hand over her belly.

"Woah her belly grew." Ekko exclaimed. Was that normal? Was something wrong? Vander just laughed at the boys concerned expression.  "Don't worry Ekko, that means the baby is growing healthily."

Both Vi's felt relived at that. Their little sister looked so beautiful with her showing baby bump and adoring smile.

Powder couldn't help but be in awe at the sight. It was real, her future self was carrying a little life inside of her. A little Piece of herself and Ekko, it was incredible. Little Ekko thought that Powder looked really pretty on the Projection, who knows? Maybe one day he and Powder would have their own family together.

Benzo looked at his own Ekko suspiciously. The boy better keep out of trouble with Powder until they were 25. They really did need to have that talk.

Powder smiled adoringly at her belly as her arms gently wrapped around it. Ekko got up and took some food that he had gone out to grab. The Compound provided large quantities of Fruit and Vegetables, but getting things like meat still required going out into the city to grab. He usually sold some of the produce to the Stall owners, and using that money he could get meat for Powder. Or, as he already had done, get some food from Jericho's for her

"Yum." Adult Vi laughed. It had been way to long since she had gotten a good Fish bowl from the man, she really missed the Sea food Special Bowl.

"You hungry Pow?" He asked.

"Always." Powder laughed as she took her Bowl of Takeout Curry, a taste she shared with her older sister.

Adult Vi felt happy that their taste in food stayed around the same. Maybe... maybe when she found her Powder she could take her out for some Jericho's.

She began to devour her bowl. Thankfully Ekko had brought plenty and befog long she had wiped out 3 of them.

"Ugh..." Caitlyn said making a face. She had no Idea what kind of "Slop" the girl was eating but it didn't look very appetizing.

At Caitlyn's visible Disgust, Vi put on a shocked look. "Cupcake, you have no Idea what your missing out on."

"I don't see how it could possibly be any good." Caitlyn grimaced. The other Zaun kids looked at her with visible shock. Jericho's food was practically the best food ever.

"I'll take you there and then you will see." Adult Vi groaned, how could anybody see that food and not think bliss?

Caitlyn was about to Insist that it wasn't necessary, until she realized that VI had practically just asked her out.

That mere thought made her face flush a soft Pink.

As Powder moved to her Rocking chair, she felt an overwhelming amount of Happiness. She had the love of her life Next to her, good food, a beautiful home, and now her own little Bun in the oven. She kept her hands wrapped around her belly, her baby would be the most Perfect little baby that ever graced Zaun.

Ekko knew that Powder was right. There was no way that the both of them produced anything other than A Perfect baby, especially because the mother was Powder.

"I Just realized." Ekko said as he packed up the Bowls. "This will be the first baby born here in the Compound. The kid's are already excited for it."

Powder's eyes widened as she realized Ekko was right. The first baby born here at the Tree. It was unreal.

"I love this." Powder whispered.

"I'm glad to see you both handling this so well." Caitlyn admitted, she didn't really know how a couple of teenagers could have handled a Pregnancy, but they were being Incredibly Mature.

Ekko gave her a thankful nod, he was also glad to see that Powder was doing alright. Although he did want to get back to his own Powder already.

Month 5

Powder was sitting on her rocking chair again on the balcony of her room. The warm sunlight was shining on her belly as she let out a content sigh. Ekko had been able to bring in a pair of Women that were actually familiar with Childbirth into the Sanctuary, and they were now a part of the community. They had been helping in taking care of her and had given her all of the Emotional support that she needed from them. The rest had come from Ekko who held her whenever things seemed like to much.

Ekko felt relieved that he had found some people that could help Powder with anything that she needed. He didn't really understand what kind of Emotional support that Powder would need from the women, but he figured if they helped her then it should be fine.

Sasha and Fiona were 2 Older woman, about late 30's who had assisted many Pregnant ladies in the Lanes before Silco flooded them with Shimmer.

Ekko felt anger rise through him at the mention of the Eye of Zaun. That bastard was enslaving their city with Shimmer, and all the Firelights could do was make sure that his Poisons didn't spread any farther than they already had.

Vander was worried, he knew that Silco had Poisoned their home, but he didn't know what the exact consequences of his actions were.

Ever since Silco took hold of the lanes, he had been flooding the streets with Shimmer. And once people got hooked, they all bowed down before him to get more.

People weren't just fighting over Money, food or turf anymore. Now all anybody wanted to fight over was Shimmer. And Silco knew this, because the bastard had implanted his own little Posse of Scum called "The Chembarrons"

"Chembarrons?" Benzo asked. Ekko just sighed as he explained.

"People in charge of many sections of Zaun." He began to rattle off the list of what he knew of each one of the Monsters.

"There's 5 of them in total. You got Finn, he runs a gang called the Slickjaw's. Those animals specialize in Assassinations." He grimly remembered how he had found Eve in the middle of one of those famous beatings from them. She had been pretty messed up by the time he got her back to Powder at the tree.

"Then there's Chross, he runs the Hush company which is basically the Records and Messenger of all of Silco's bullshit. Then you have Margot, she and her Vyx run the Sex industry of the Undercity, the Brothels in her territory all answer to her."

"Next is Renni, she runs the Sludgerunners, those assholes are the ones that produce the Shimmer."

Benzo was shocked to hear just how different Zaun could become. He and Vander knew that they would stop Silco before that monster could destroy their home.

"And last but certainly not least of the Chembarrons is Smeech." The others looked confused at that. "Smeech?" Mylo asked. "That's not a real name. What kind of person calls themselves Smeech?" Ekko just gave him a hard look.

"He's real. The guy is a Yordle that runs the Scrap Hacker gang. They make Cybernetic limbs for people in the undercity. It sounds cool until you realize that he Prioritizes weapons when it comes to those things. But all of them share one thing in common, they all abuse the shit out of shimmer and they all answer to Silco like trained dogs."

Caitlyn was shocked to hear about just how well organized the Crime in the Undercity was. She wouldn't have believed it to be possible is she hadn't been seeing so much of this Silco's actions all throughout Zaun. And that Evil man had Marcus watching over his ass, no wonder he could get away with all of this!

She would have to collect as much Evidence as she could and get Marcus Convicted. She had to make sure that Silco was stopped before his Poisons could reach Piltover

Powder could feel herself getting Angry at the thought of Silco. Janna she wanted to get rid of him for good, she really hated that monster.

As Powder was about to get up and grab a meal, she suddenly felt something in her belly. It felt... odd.

"Oh no." She thought in her head. "What is that? What's happening?"

"Is something wrong?" Ekko asked in fear. Vander and Benzo weren't sure about what was happening, although a strange sensation in a Pregnant woman's belly could mean anything.

Adult Vi looked at the Projection with worry, why couldn't she be there with her sister? Why did she have to abandon her?

Ekko walked into the room holding up a pile of Fabrics. "I got the stuff you wanted, did I miss anyt-" He was cut off by the Distressed gasps of Powder.

"Ekko. Get Sasha and Fiona! I think something is wrong!" Those were the only words Powder had to say and Ekko was sprinting out of the room shouting out their names.

"Please let it be all right." Ekko whispered with grief in his voice. He didn't want to lose his child, he hadn't even seen it yet and he loved it with all of his heart.

Vander wanted so badly to be there by his daughters side and tell her everything would be alright. Why did he have to get himself killed?

Benzo placed a hand on a Distressed adult Vi's shoulder. He figured that she was cursing herself for not being there with her sister.

Powder was hyperventilating as the 2 women came in and began to check her over. Sasha held her hand as Powder sobbed and begged all of the gods she knew to please not take her baby from her. Ekko was also at her side, but he didn't know how to calm her down.

Eventually Fiona let out a sigh of relief as she explained what had happened to Powder.

"It's not dying little blue. It's Moving."

Ekko let out a little teary laugh of relief. His daughter was Moving. This was real, he was going to be a dad! All he wanted right now, was to be right there with the love of his life. He wanted to be there feeling his daughter move in Pow's belly.

Powder looked at the Waterfall with Awe. How did it feel like? To have a baby move inside of you, to be entirely dependent on you? To have a little life connected right to your heart?

Vander and Benzo let out huge sighs of relief, they wanted to be there with Pow. Vander wanted to be there for his daughter and Grand daughter, Benzo wanted to make sure that the little lady was alright.

Powder looked at her belly with shock, relief and awe. Her baby was... Moving?

She suddenly felt another soft thump against the wall of her stomach. That was a kick. Her daughter was kicking!

"Ekko..." She gasped as she took her lovers hand and placed it against her baby bump. The young man looked at her belly with confusion, and sudden Joy as he felt another kick.

"She's moving." He whispered as little tears of happiness fell from his face.

Vander rubbed his hand on his face as he wiped off tears of Joy. His Daughter was having a baby. She was bringing a new life to the world, a healthy and Perfect baby.

Benzo let out a little Sniffle of his own as he looked at his son with Pride. Yeah the boy was an Idiot for knocking up a girl as a teenager, but he was still going to be a father. And a very loving one from the way he was staring at Powder's baby bump as if it was the whole word.

"You should expect to have some sleep Interrupted by the little one, but that's a good thing. It means she's growing and that she's healthy." Sasha explained as she and Fiona gut up and left. "Call us if you have any other questions."

Powder laid back in her Rocking chair again, feeling a huge weight being lifted off of her. Ekko stayed by her side as other people passed through the room. Scar came by to deliver a report on the Movements of the Chembarrons, Eve strolled through to talk with Powder and give her a book on Sewing, and a few kids came by to see just how big her belly had gotten.

"The tree seems to be very active." Vander said approvingly. Ekko barely heard what he was saying as he kept his eyes on the Projection. He wanted to see his baby. What would she be like? Like her mother, or him?

Adult Vi wanted to be there for her sister so badly, Powder looked so happy. Did... did she still think about her?

Had Powder... Forgotten about her? No, that wasn't possible. Surely her sister still needed her, right?

Powder was lying in bed hugging her belly when Ekko walked back in. He gently climbed into the bed and wrapped his rms round Powder who leaned into his touch.

"I was thinking..." He started. "What should we name her?" Powder affectionately rolled her eyes. She had an Idea.

"What will we name her?" Ekko wondered aloud. At the mention, Everybody started piping up Ideas.

"How about Mira?" Teenage Vi suggested, she had seen the name in a story book once, it sounded nice. "Probably Whisker?" Adult Vi suggested, Powder had named one of her bombs that before, maybe she would do that with her daughter?

Vander just chuckled at his older daughters suggestion. "It's a baby Vi, not a cat."

"I was thinking maybe Samantha." Benzo said. Mylo immediately popped up with his own Idea. "How about Avery? It's a girl right?"

Claggor suggested "Claggor Jr." And got made fun of by Teen Vi.

"It's a girl stupid." She teased, Claggor just chuckled "Hey I thought we were pitching Ideas."

"What do you think Pow?" Little Ekko asked Powder. The blue haired girl just stared of into the distance.

"Do you have an Idea Powder?" Teen Vi asked.

"I think so. But I'm not sure whether the older me still remembers."

"Well... Actually, I think I will keep that one to myself." Powder teased. Ekko immediately gave her a look of Indignation.

"Oh come on! At least give me a hint!" He pleaded. Powder just laughed and rolled over into a much needed sleep. Ekko just sighed, he would eventually figure it out.

But for now, he just settled into a comfortable  sleep with Powder.

Chapter Text

A Snack bar will be opening soon, but first we have to finish this.

"Oh thank Janna, I'm craving some actual food." Adult Vi groaned. She was enjoying seeing what she had missed, but she would still like to eat seeing as Prison food tasted like shit. Vander looked at the older Version of his daughter with concern. Was she not eating right?

"I do Wonder what the baby's name will be." Claggor mentioned out loud. Benzo and Vander kept shooting out name ideas, but none of them seemed to stick with Powder.

"No." Powder said as Vander suggested Amara "I don't think I would name my baby any of those names."

Everybody just sighed in exasperation, what would the child's name be?

And with that, the Projection started up again

Month 6

"3 more months." Teen Vi said approvingly.

Powder was Sketching some pictures into a Journal. She was drawing a small plush bunny and several designs for different clothes, costumes and even a few toys for the baby to play with.

"Wow, you can draw really well Pow." Mylo said approvingly. He had never been good at art, not that he ever really tried.

Powder looked at him in surprise. Had he just.... Complimented her?

"hmm..." Powder mumbled with a satisfied hum. Things seemed to be going well. Although Ekko was right now overseeing some Reconnaissance on one of Renni's Shipments to Silco, she felt at ease. Her baby had been lightly moving all day, and she felt happy.

She had been sleeping and eating much more than she used to and she felt full of life, although as the days passed she was starting to feel more and more drained.

"Is that normal?" Ekko asked Vander, who seemed to be pretty knowledgeable about this kind of stuff.

The older man just nodded "Yeah, her body is giving most of her nutrients to the baby, so naturally she will be more tired than usual.

As Powder set down her sketch book, she leaned back in her chair and let out a content sigh. Life was... actually pretty good.

"But why?" She wondered to herself. Why was her life good? She didn't...

She didn't deserve to be happy.

"What?" Adult Vi whispered in confusion. Of course her sister deserved to be happy!

Everybody else looked at the Projection with concern. Why was she thinking that?

"Of course you don't deserve happiness."  A voice snarled out from the dark of her mind. Powder grit her teeth as she recognized it.

"What the fuck was that." Teen vi growled. Whatever that was it seemed to be distressing a Vulnerable and Fragile Powder.

Adult Ekko felt himself Tense. He wanted to be there with Powder, he needed to be there for her.

She turned and was met with the horrible projection of Mylo

"What the fuck..." Mylo whispered. How- Why- The fuck!?

"Go away Mylo." She whispered. At that, his Projection got right in her face.

"What's the mater JINX. Afraid of  your sins?"

Powder grabbed her gun in fear as she aimed at Mylos Projection. But he just distorted and seemed to be surrounding her.

"What? Are you disappointed that you didn't get to kill me while looking me in the eyes?"

"It was an accident..." Powder pleaded as more of the voices began to taunt her.

"I know..." Adult Vi whispered, small tears beginning to form in her eyes.

"You heard Vi. I was right, your just a Jinx."  Powder tried desperately to Ignore him, but then he said something that made her blood run cold.

"I wonder how long it will be until you Jinx the baby."

"God damn it." Mylo muttered to himself. Had he really hurt Powder so much that his ghost seemed to Torment her?

Adult Vi was cursing herself for hurting her sister so badly. She really was a failure wasn't she?

Powder began to hyperventilate at the horrible thought. She didn't want to Jinx her baby, but would the little one even be safe with her?

As she began to Panic even further, a soft thump inside of her belly grounded her back to reality. Her baby was kicking, and those soft thumps gave her a new sense of Security as her Scribbles faded.

"Protecting me already? Not even out of the womb and your already wonderful." Powder playfully whispered as she wrapped her hands around her belly.

Ekko was grateful to see that Powder snapped out of that mess her mind put her in. Their baby could already do that, and she hadn't even been born yet.

Vander and the Vi's breathed out a sigh of relief as Powders panic attack subsided. Adult Vi knew that when she returned, she had to make things right with her sister. She had to Fix EVERYTHING.

Powder fell back into her chair as she wiped off some sweat from her forehead. She couldn't believe everything that had happened, everything that had led up to this point.

"A Curse and a blessing." She whispered to herself. She had murdered her family, but some how, she was Maybe Making things right. She was bringing her own baby into the world.

"But does that Justify being a murderer?" She thought miserably.

"Your not a murderer. It was an accident." Vi said aloud, her voice choking with tears. Janna she hated herself, all she wanted was her baby sister back. But she had hurt her so badly. She had called her Baby sister a JINX. What kind of sister was she?

Vander saw just how distressed his daughter was, he walked up to her and wrapped her in a tight hug, which she returned.

"I'm sorry." She whispered. To who? She had no clue. Maybe to everybody she had failed.

Powder softly sobbed as she remembered that horrible day. It had so much power over her.

"BECAUSE YOU'R A JINX!"  A loud whisper shouted at her. Powder choked back a sob as she miserably shook her head.

"I know." She whispered. "But I won't let my cursed past hurt my daughter."

Everybody looked at the screen confused. What did that mean?

Powder got up and walked out to the base of the Tree. The plant's roots extended up to the trunk which stood over a large building. But they had left a large clearing on one of the sides of the building.

She brought out a couple of Spray paint cans and other art supplies. Powder took a deep breath as she slowly began to Spray paint the wall.

She flowed through the motions like she was swimming through a river. Her body moved with the flow of her art, she had an image in mind as she slowly guided through the movements. By the time she was done, a picture of Mylo was there on the wall.

"Woah." Mylo said in shock. Powder had painted him well.

Ekko thought that her art looked Incredible, although he was still confused as to what she was doing.

Everybody else looked at the Projection with confusion, what was Powder doing?

The blue haired girl approached her painting and lightly slid her hand across his face. She then looked down at her belly and caressed it.

"You deserve better than a mom who is haunted by her past." She sobbed. It hurt, but for the sake of her daughter, she had to do this.

She had to lay these horrible memories to rest. No matter how much she felt that she deserved to be haunted by these ghost.

Obviously they would always be there with her. Taunting and Jabbing her, but for her daughters sake, she couldn't let them have Power over her.

"She doesn't deserve to go through so much pain." Vander said miserably. He didn't blame Powder for what had happened, it was an accident. Powder had just been a victim of circumstance.

Ekko finally figured it out. "She's letting go of the past, with her art." He explained

Mylo placed a comforting hand on his little sisters shoulder. He had never been good at expressing his feelings. But he really hoped that he had conveyed his desire to reconcile with her. For all of his bullshit.

From the smile Powder gave him, he felt as if he had done it.

"This is your Uncle Mylo." She whispered through her tears. Some of the other kids in the community had gotten near the New mural she had made and they all wrapped her in a warm hug.

Powder blinked back tears in gratitude at their expressions of love for her.

"Your Uncle was a good man, he always teased me and made fun of me. But he was just trying to get me to Improve myself in his own weird way."

"I wish I had the chance to make things right with him."

Mylo looked at his little sister with sadness. He really had hurt her.

"Mylo." Powder whispered. "It's ok, I know I'm a lot to deal with. But I still would like to have you as my brother." Mylo just nodded thankfully and left her and Little man to sit next to each other as he walked back to Vander.

"Thank you son." His dad whispered. Mylo just nodded and kept watching the Projection.

Powder began on the Next Painting, she grabbed her blue and brown Spray cans and kept going until she was eventually faced with Claggor.

"This was your other Uncle. His name was Claggor. He always looked out for me and was always willing to help whenever he could."

"I wish I hadn't hurt him."

"Pow." Claggor said, getting her attention. "It wasn't your fault. It was Silco's."

Eventually She got up the courage to take the Pink spray paint. With a heavy heart, she flew through the motions one last time. The kids looked in awe as she painted the largest and most Life like Picture that she could manage.

After an hour of Painting, she was faced with the Picture of Vi.

Vi looked at the painting Powder had done with A bitter sweet look. Sweet because it looked beautiful. Bitter because this was Powder letting go of her past.

Letting go of her.

Caitlyn looked at her friend with worry as she placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"This was your Aunt. Her name was Violet." Powder whispered as Silent tears fell from her face.

"She was the strongest, and bravest person I had ever known. She was my sister, my protector."

"My blood. But then, she left."

"I didn't want to leave you Pow." Adult Vi pleaded miserably. Why? WHY DID THAT MOTHERFUCKER HAVE TO TAKE HER AWAY!?!

"i don't blame her for leaving. I know that I hurt her in a way that I couldn't possibly repair. But I always hoped that she would come back for me and your dad."

"But she didn't. I don't know if it's stupid or not, but It's easier for me to believe that she's dead then for me to believe that she is alive but chose to leave."

"I know she would have loved you with all of her heart."

Adult Vi just sobbed miserably. Her Pow was leaving her.

No, no, no. She couldn't accept this. That was HER sister. Her Pow Pow. And her baby sister was carrying HER niece. She would be there for them.

She HAD to fix this. She had to find a way.

Month 7

Powder was sitting Outside on a Rocking chair that Ekko had brought out for her. Many of the Other Firelights had added their own family and friends that had been lost onto the Mural. Ekko was currently sitting on Scars Shoulders as he finished the last touches on Benzos picture.

Powder had wanted to help, but she was feeling way to drained to really complain about it. She was busy explaining the 2 new additions to the mural to her belly.

"Those are your Grampas, Vander and Benzo." She explained to her belly. She felt 2 soft thumps, little baby kicks that told her that her daughter had heard.

Vander and Benzo smiled at her words. They were Grampas. Vander couldn't wait to Spoil his Grand daughter and leave her as a huge trouble maker for Powder and Ekko. Benzo wanted to teach the baby everything he knew and watch her grow and surpass him.

"Wow her belly is huge." Little Ekko said. "Is it going to Explode?" He asked Naively. Teen Vi laughed as she ruffled his hair.

"No, once the baby is out it will go back to it's old form. It's just stretched out right now."

Little Ekko looked at the Projection with surprise. "Woah, girl super powers." Powder laughed at that and playfully nudged him.

As Powder stretched her arms, Eve flew to her on a Hover board with a bag of stuff.

"I managed to get the Ice cream from an unsuspecting Piltie and a Cheesy Fish bowl from Jericho. What did you want this for?" She asked confused as she handed the bag to Powder.

Powder poured the Ice cream into her Fish Bowl as Eve made a disgusted face. "What the fuck Pow!? Your not gonna eat that are you?"

"Eww!" Little Ekko said. "You have Perfectly good Ice cream and you decide to Put Cheesy Fish Into it!?" Little Powder made a grossed out face to. She had no clue why she was doing that in the future.

Vander and Benzo just laughed. "Pregnant women have the weirdest Craving kids."

"No way is she going to eat that." Caitlyn said, physically gagging at the sight.

"I'm starving Eve. And besides, it smells Wonderful." Powder giggled as she dug in. She shared some of the food with some kids that were more open to cheesy fishy Ice cream. Eve just gagged and ran over to the Mural with Ekko.

"Gross!" Caitlyn groaned as she looked away from the Projection. She was glad to see that Vi was shaping up a little bit, she seemed amused at her sisters taste in food.

"Maybe... I can bring her some Ice cream." She whispered. Caitlyn swore to herself that she would get the redhead that dessert for her sister.

Month 8

Powder was Strumming a few strings on a makeshift Guitar on her bed. She had just woken up and she already wanted to go back to sleep, but she had finally finished the song that she had been writing.

"Woah, she made an Instrument." Ekko said aloud. Everybody looked at the Projection in shock, how had she done that?

The guitar itself was made of Scrap metal and other spare parts, but it played its songs beautiflly as Powder stummed the chords and tuned them.

"My mother wrote a song for me and my sister once. She called it "Dear Friend Across the river."

Both Vi's smiled fondly as they remembered their mothers music. It was beautiful, but she had never sung with an instrument before.

"I always loved to hear her voice, and I want a song that I can call yours, little bunny." Powder teased her huge Belly. A soft kick told her to get started.

Even When I'm Not (The Wild Robot) - Maren Morris | Guitar & Vocal Cover by Rumi

"Woah..." Everybody whispered as Powder bean to strum the guitar.

"I'm gonna live forever in you. Long as the sky and oceans are blue."

"Blue. The most beautiful color." Ekko thought to himself as he heard his love sing so lovingly.

Vander wiped off some stray tears from his face. He was so Proud of his daughter, she loved that little baby growing Inside of her so much. She resembled Felicia SO MUCH!

"I'll always love you and I'll never stop. I'll always be there even when I'm not"

"I know the world can turn into lonely place."

"Can break your heart and paint the tear drops on your face."

"She's singing through her soul." Adult Vi realized. Projecting her pain and love through her music.

"I might not be beside you, but I wont be far. I'll be lookin over you like Northern Stars."

"On nights your mind is spiralin' like desert winds"

"Like how her mind would Spiral." Ekko whispered. She was truly letting go of her pain, or at least trying to. For their baby. It still felt surreal

"The way you wanna go is not the way you've been"

"Acknowledging her grief and way of handling it." Vander realized

Darling, don't be scared of what's around the bend

"I'm telling my daughter to be different." Powder realized. The thought made her so excited that she threw herself excitedly at her Ekko who caught her in surprise.

"I can actually grow stronger." She whispered to him

"No, when you feel alone, I hope you never forget,"

"I'm gonna live forever in you"

"Long as the sky and oceans are blue"

"I'll always love you, and I'll never stop"

"I'll always be there, even when I'm not"

And with that, Powder strummed a little more until her belly calmed down. As her baby settled itself, she put down her guitar and let out a content sigh. She was a real mom now, like her mother had been.

"That was beautiful." A sudden Voice said. Powder looked over to her door and saw Ekko there, staring at her in awe.

"That was amazing." Little Ekko said to Powder. The 2 of them put their hands together and kept watching the projection

"It was something I have been working on for the past few months." Powder softly explained. She really felt tired, she just wanted to get some sleep.

Ekko seemed to sense this as he gently helped her lean on her left side on the bed. After a sip of water and some light humming, Powder was on her dozing off.

Ekko gently stroked some of her hair off of her face as he walked out of the room. Before he could walk out of the room, Powder spoke out.

"Hey Ekko."

"Yeah?" He asked, thinking maybe she needed some more water or food.

"Do you... Do you think that Vander would be proud of us?"

"I know he would." Ekko said as he placed a kiss on her forehead and left the room. Powder smiled and went back to sleep.

"I am." Vander said happily, wiping off a stray tear that fell from his face. Janna he needed to control himself.

"I'm proud too." Benzo said happily as he pulled Adult Ekko into a hug, which the boy gladly returned.

Month 9

"So the baby is coming out now?" Powder asked her dad. 9 Months seemed like enough time for a baby to put itself together.

"Possibly. But sometimes it may take extra days or even weeks." He explained.

Powder and both of the Ekko's looked at him in surprise. That sounded Intense.

Powder gently woke up from a long sleep. Stretching up her arms, she felt Incredibly overwhelmed. Her Belly was huge, bigger than it had ever been. Her back ached and she was already very sleepy, but she felt happy.

"Where are you Ekko?" She wondered aloud as she pulled herself out of Bed.

"I hope I'm nearby." Ekko said worriedly. He couldn't imagine not being there for Powder during such a critical time in her life.

Vander and Benzo hoped that everything would be ok.

Powder got up and made her way to the back of her room. They had expanded it so the room was really more of a house at this point. As she turned to the small kitchen that she shared with Ekko, She screamed as a figure nearly bumped into her.

"Woah! Is she ok!?" Little Ekko asked worriedly. Vander and Benzo hoped that nothing bad was going to happen.

"What the fuck Eve!? Powder said as the girl in question grabbed her before she could fall.

"Sorry Pow!" Eve squealed sheepishly. "I wanted to cook some Stew for you today. You know the one that you said was amazing?"

"Yeah, but your going to Scare the baby out of me!" Powder complained as Eve helped her get steady on her feet.

"Oh it's just Eve." Ekko said in relief. And from the sound of it, the Pink haired girl was going to prepare Pow some hearty Stew.

Vi felt annoyed at Eve, the girl seemed to close with Powder. She wasn't Pows sister, Pow was Vi's sister and hers alone.

As Powder leaned against one of the cupboards she let herself get lost in her thoughts. Eve was preparing the Ingredients for Stew while Pow thought about Vi.

"Would you Approve of the baby's name?" She wondered to herself.

"Of course I would." Adult Vi said determinedly. No matter what name Pow chose, it would be absolutely beautiful.

Teen Vi nodded in Accordance to her adult counterpart. Pow would pick a great name.

"Maybe you should sit down." Eve suggested as she helped Powder back to her bed.

"Just don't scare me again." Powder said as they got to her Bedroom., "Don't want you scaring the baby out of me."

Powder didn't hear Eve's snarky come back as she felt a liquid run down her leg.

"Oh shit." Benzo said aloud. Vander felt himself tense up, here we go.

"What happened?" Adult Ekko asked, unfortunately he was probably not as well versed in Pregnancy stuff like his version that was on the Projection.

"The baby's coming." Vander said. Both of the Vi's tensed up as well. Mylo Claggor and Caitlyn looked at the screen in anticipation.

Powder and Little Ekko looked interested, their child was coming.

"I was Joking!!" Powder gasped as she Clenched her teeth, feeling what she was pretty sure was a contraction.

"I know Pow, but still-" Eve started Before Powder grabbed her face and made her look at her.

"EVE. My water broke."

"Oh Janna..." Adult Vi whispered. It was happening.

Eves eyes went Wide, without missing a beat she scooped up Powder as best as she could and carried her to the bed.

"Wait here. I'll go get the others." She said. As Eve turned to go, Powder grabbed her hand desperately.

"Don't go." She pleaded through tears as another painful spasm passed through her.

"Powder..." Adult Vi whispered through her tears. She should be there with her Pow Pow.

Teen Vi just wanted to hold her sister and tell her how everything would be ok.

"I'm scarred." Powder whispered.

Before Eve could say anything, Ekko and Scar burst into the room. "We heard a scream, is everything ok?"

"Powders in Labor! Get Sasha and Fiona!" Eve ordered. Immediately Scar ran out to get the women while Ekko ran to Powders side.

"What- what's happening?" He asked desperately.

"I'm in Labor Idiot!" Powder growled while clenching her teeth. Ekko didn't pay much mind to her anger, he was to worried about her safety.

"How long will it be?" Powder asked Vander.

The older man sighed. "It will most likely be several hours of agony. It might even take a whole day."

The kids and Teenagers looked at him in shock. The powder on the Projection was squirming in pain. She would have to endure HOURS of suffering?

"I don't think I want kids if that's the case." Powder said. It looked to painful

Little Ekko looked at her in shock. "Don't say that when out daughter is being born."

"We don't have a daughter!" Powder said in indignation. At that, little Ekko gave her a crooked grin. "But we will someday."

Beno groaned, he would really have to make sure that his son didn't do anything stupid. Vander already felt exhausted at the thought of keeping his daughter from getting Pregnant with that foolish boy.

Powder screamed as another contraction wrecked through her body. At the same time, Sahsa and Fiona had arrived and immediately began to check her over. Fiona positioned herself behind Powder holding her steady. Sahsa spread her legs and checker her dilation.

She looked at Powder Grimly. "We will need to wait longer before you can start pushing."

The whole room winced as Powder let out another scream of Pain.

The next scene showed Powder up on her feet as Ekko helped her walk, his arms wrapped around her. He kept wiping off the sweat and tears form her face.

"You asshole, you asshole." She kept muttering at him. She loved him, but the idiot had gotten her Pregnant. And now her whole body was in hell. And it had already been several hours of pure agony.

All Ekko could do was say he was so sorry as he stayed right by her side.

"If I could blue, I would take this pain from you and bear it myself. But I can't, so please, Be STRONG for our baby." He pleaded.

"... I'm glad your helping her through this." Vander said. He was angry with Ekko for getting his baby girl Pregnant, but he seemed to genuinely care for her.

Powder was lying down in her bed again while the 2 Midwives kept watch over her. Ekko was sitting by her side in worry. Eve was assisting the women however she could. Scar was outside keeping everybody else away from the door.

Eventually, Sasha said that she could start Pushing. Fiona positioned herself behind the girl for Emotional and Physical support. Ekko held her hand as Eve whispered words of encouragement.

Powder let out a blood curling scream as she began to push. Eve immediately whispered to Ekko "She is in the most critical part of this, so if she digs her nails into you then you let her. If she try's to break your fingers YOU FUCKING LET HER."

Vander and the Vi's wished with all of their hearts that they could be there for their girl. Adult Ekko looked at the Projection desperately, he had to be there for her.

Powder kept pushing as her face matted with tears and sweat. She let out scream after scream as Sasha told her that one more Push would do it.

With the last bit of her strength, she pushed with all of her might. Suddenly the feeling of being torn apart was gone.

And a cry pierced through the room.

OST Arcane (League of Legends) - Isha's Song by Eason Chan (Piano Cover / Version)

Ekko let out a small sob of happiness as a feeling of Joy and relief swept through the room.

"Congratulations son." Benzo whispered through his tears. Vander was a sobbing mess as Powder and Little Ekko tried to calm him down.

Powder looked up through her Exhaustion. Her visionw as blurry and her hearing muffled, but she could see the little Bundle of flesh that was being wrapped up in a little blanket clearly.

"My baby." She whispered. Sasha who had taken the child moved over to Powder and placed the crying little ball of life into her arms.

"She's so cute." Adult Vi sobbed, she was an Aunt. She had to get her niece and sister a gift. Something, something nice and loving.

"it's a girl."

"Can mothers really tell what their babies will be?" Mylo asked Vander. The older man just shrugged, he didn't know. But judging from what Felicia had told him, it sure seemed like it.

Powder choked out a sob as she brought her baby closer to her and Inspected it.

She looked her over. She was Perfect. So fragile and small. But so Beautiful. The baby had stopped crying and it opened her eyes.

Powder gasped as she was met with startling Honey Gold eyes.

"That's..." Benzo whispered in shock. He had seen Golden eyes like those once.

On Inna. Ekko's mother.

"She's beautiful." Ekko whispered as he crouched beside her to see his daughter. Powder held out her baby to him. Timidly, Ekko picked up the baby that stared at him with her wide Golden eyes. He checked her over, she was beautiful. Her skin tone was a blend of his own and Powders. She seemed to have his Nose, and even his head shape.

A small tuft of Blue hair was sticking on her head. Ekko placed a small kiss on his daughter's forehead as he handed her back to Powder.

"She's Perfect." He sobbed softly.

"What's her name?" Eve asked gently, not bothering to hide the fact that she was crying.

Powder looked at her baby with so much love she thought her heart might burst.

"Isha." She whispered. "Her name is Isha."

Vander and Beno's Jaws dropped to the ground.

Isha. Felicias nickname. Almost a second name.

"One who Protects." Adult Vi added. She knew that nickname had been given to her mother by Vander after she had been born.

Ekko gently ran a finger over his baby's head. "Isha." he whispered, testing his daughters name.

"It's beautiful.

"Isha." Ekko repeated. That name was so beautiful. He wanted to be there with Powder already. To see and hold his baby, to shower her in his his love. That Perfect little piece of himself and Pow.

As the others in the room left, the young couple was left alone with their daughter.

A Few Hours Later

Powder was asleep in bed, holding her small bundle of joy against her chest. Isha had finished feeding and was sleeping against her mothers chest.

The young mother was having the best sleep she had ever had. No Voices or nightmares tormented her. It was just her and this beautiful family she could call her own.

"They look so peaceful." Caitlyn happily said. The Young parents had only known their daughter for a few hours and they already loved her with all of their hearts.

Ekko softly walked over to his Love and daughter and Gently placed a few kisses on their foreheads. His heart was threatening to burst with Emotion.

"I would die for you 2." He whispered as he sat down on a chair right next to the bed.

"I would, if it meant keeping them safe." Ekko thought to himself without hesitation. His love and his daughter. HIS Girls.

Ekko let out a content sigh as he Dozed off right next to his family.

"Everything I need is right here in this room."

And with that the Projection ended.

The room was left with a wave of Joy and excitement. Ekko felt like he was breathing clearly. His child, his daughter.

His Isha.

"I want to see her." Vander whispered. "Ekko, In your time Powder still hasn't shown the signs of Pregnancy right?"

He shook his head. "From what I've seen, she hasn't. I don't want to keep this from her, but what if she chooses to get rid of it?"

Everybody was left with conflicting feelings on that. On one hand, Isha looked so beautiful and the 2 Teenagers loved her with all of their hearts. But on the other, they were still Teenagers.

"I think Even if I knew I would choose to keep it." Powder said to the room. Adult Ekko hoped that his own Powder would feel the same way. He wanted to shower her and their baby in Love like he did on the Projection.

"I want to see my daughter too." Little Ekko decided. Powder shot him an annoyed look "I keep telling you, were not parents yet."

"But we will be someday." Little Ekko Pointed out. While the 2 kids playfully argued, Vander let out a groan of annoyance.

"I really will have to make sure their never alone withe each other." He moaned. Teen Vi just put a hand on his shoulder "Don't worry, I'll make sure those brats don't do anything stupid until their 25 to EVEN THINK about having kids."

As Everybody kept talking, the Lightning bolt returned and blasted another message just above the Waterfall.

"Snack Bar is opening up Now. Rest and Relax until the next scenes play."

As the Words died out, Buffet stalls popped out of the ground as well as a large Wooden table. A large Array of food appeared in the Buffet, Meat that was Sandwiched between some Kind of Salad and bread with something that smelled like cheese (Hamburgers). Slices of Pizza and several other foods that the Zaunites and even Caitlyn didn't recognize.

"Alright!" Mylo said as he grabbed a plate and loaded it with a large array of food that smelled nice but for the life of him couldn't name.

Little Ekko and Powder followed him and grabbed the biggest Slices of Pizza that they could find, they had eaten a stale Pizza once and it had tasted amazing. The Fresh stuff must have been a hundred times better.

Everybody else followed suit and before long, the table was filled up by the cast as they prepared to eat.

Ekko was still processing what he had just seen when A Second Thunderbolt blasted across the Waterfall, The light blinded them as the huge crash sounded out for what felt like an hour.

As the Dust and noise from the Thunderbolt settled, Ekko saw a distinct figure emerge from the turmoil.

A little Girl with a Miners helmet, soft and curly blue hair stuck out from underneath it. But what stuck out the most for him, were her mesmerizing Golden eyes.

"Isha?"

Chapter 11: "Isha?"

Chapter Text

Hopping from rooftop to rooftop, Isha followed the Enforcer and some other guy that she couldn't quite make out as they ran through the streets of the Undercity. She didn't really know why an Enforcer was running away from Silco, but according to Mama, Enforcers were one of the main reasons why Silco could do all of his bad guy stuff all over the Lanes.

So Isha figured if she could get Mom and dad an Enforcer of their own, then maybe they could fight Stinky One eye better.

But that was getting Tricky as the Enforcer and her friend ran very fast.

Isha Leaped over a small alley and slid down a few slanted rooftops to keep pace with the strangers. Her little legs could only carry her so fast, but she was somehow able to keep up.

After what felt like forever, the Enforcer and her friend slowed down in an alley, Isha quietly snuck above them and waited for her chance.

"I think we lost them." The Enforcer said, gasping for air. The other person, a woman apparently, rested her arm and head against one of the alley walls, facing away from Isha.

"Now's my chance." The little girl thought with a grin. She pulled her Miner's helmet over her head and got to work.

She got a rock that looked big enough to hurt from her rooftop, and she carefully dropped it onto the Enforcers head.

With a thud, the blue haired lady fell to the ground as the Rock bounced of her head. Bull's-eye.

The Pink haired lady turned around in an Instant, thankfully, Isha already had a Crystal bomb ready and she threw it right at the lady's chest, securing her in place.

"Son of a bitch!" The lady roared as the Crystals grew all over her. Isha figured that the lady was to dumb to figure out that instead of Pushing and pulling at the crystals, all you had to do to break them was wiggle.

Taking out some of her rope, the little girl tied up the Enforcer with the knots that Aunt Eve had shown her. She proceeded to tie a bow on the girls head as she stepped back to admire her work.

"Kid, let us go. I mean it." The Pink haired lady demanded. Isha turned to give her a laugh when she noticed how familiar the lady looked. And it wasn't just her, the lady was looking at her like she had seen a ghost.

Had she seen this lady before? The Enforcers friend looked very much like Aunt Eve. A little rougher and more defined, but almost.

In fact, she looked a lot like that Painting of Aunt Vi. That couldn't be right, Mama said that she had gone on a long trip. Had she come back early?

Isha was about to light up her Blue smoke flair when A bright light flashed and she vanished.

As the Dust cloud settled, everybody saw as a little girl walked out of the cloud.

Isha felt like she had been put in a Vacuum cleaner then thrown into a whirlwind. But more so then that, she felt scared. Suddenly, she no longer wanted to capture Enforcers and Immobilize their friends.

She just wanted to be with mom and dad.

Ekko couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the little girl walk out of the little cloud. When those Mesmerizing golden eyes fell on him, he could barely believe it.

"Isha?" He asked her.

Immediately the girl ran to him and gave him a tight hug. Isha wasn't sure where she was, but as long as daddy was here then everything should be fine.

Ekko let out a small joyful sob as he got down on a knee and held her close to his chest. Isha snuggled against him as Ekko wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. He breathed in her scent that was so Isha. He had only known his daughter for a few minutes and he already loved her with all of his being.

"She's so warm." He fondly thought to himself.

Eventually, the little girl pulled back from the hug to study her dad. He seemed to be crying, was he sad?

"Is something wrong?" Isha timidly signed.

Ekko's eyes widened at the sight of his daughters sign language. He understood her thanks to the fact that some of the kids in the tree were deaf and he and Powder had learned to communicate with them.

"Nothing." He whispered as he pulled her back into a hug. "Nothing is wrong."

Ekko could feel the others staring at the sight in shock, so he got up and picked up Isha, holding her close to him so he could present her and keep her in his arms.

"Guys... meet Isha." He laughed.

Immediately several of the people sitting at the table got up to say Hi to Isha. Vander and Adult Vi were the first to get to them. At the sight of Adult Vi, the little girl hid herself in her fathers arms in an attempt to disappear.

"What's wrong?" Ekko asked worriedly. Isha looked up at him with sad eyes.

"I threw a crystal bomb at her."  The girl signed worriedly. Ekko stared at her dumbfounded. Then he proceeded to laugh.

"What happened?" Adult Vi asked, feeling uneasy at the worry in Isha's eyes. Ekko explained what Isha had apparently done and Everybody in the room laughed.

"Only what, 4? And already throwing bombs?" Vander laughed. Benzo and Adult Vi couldn't believe just how amazing Isha was.

"It's ok Isha." Adult Vi playfully told her, leaning down so she could be at eye level with the little Girl. "I'm sure you didn't mean to. By the way, I'm your Aunt Vi."

Isha perked up at the revelation of the woman's name, she leaped out of her dads arms and into her aunt's, who caught her in a clumsy move.

"Woah! You got some Jumps." Adult Vi laughed as she brought the girl into a hug. For the first time, in a long time, She felt at peace. A piece of Powder, so Perfect and loving.

"Aunty Vi is really happy to meet you." Adult Vi whispered to her niece. Isha grinned and held onto her aunt. Mama had always spoken so highly of her, and Isha now knew that mama had been saying the truth.

Vander and Benzo approached the 2 girls next. Isha immediately recognized them and ran to them, crashing into Vander who scooped her up and held her while Benzo ruffled her hair.

"Do you know who we are?" Vander asked Isha. The little girl broke from the hug and excitedly signed, "You are my Grampa's." Which Ekko translated.

"That's right." Benzo said affectionately, taking Isha into his arms. "Were your grampas."

Back at the table, Isha was sitting on Ekko's lap as she shoveled large amounts of food into her mouth. Ekko was captivated in sight at his daughter, staring at her with wide eyes as the voracious child tore apart a slice of Pizza.

Isha had never tasted food quite like the one she was currently devouring, it tasted amazing. She grabbed a second Hamburger and devoured it in 3 bites.

Adult VI laughed as she poured the girl a cup of Juice to help wash down the food. Isha took it graciously, signing a quick "Thank you" before she tore into a third slice of Pizza.

Powder and little Ekko looked at their future daughter in awe, so far Isha hadn't actually noticed them, but they were hoping to get to know her soon.

As soon as she stopped wolfing down every last piece of food that dared cross her path.

Eventually Isha calmed down and let out a small burp. Vander leaned over with a napkin and cleaned her face. Benzo took her plate and placed it on a counter, there was no real place to put the dishes so he figured leaving them there would be ok.

"So Isha." Ekko began. The little girl looked up at her daddy with wide eyes, almost melting him on the spot. "What's the whole reason for throwing a bomb at Vi?"

Isha looked away embarrassed, eventually she lifted up her hands and signed "I wanted to bring you and mommy an Enforcer, so that you can fight Silco better. and she was hanging out with a blue haired one."

Ekko looked at her surprised. "What did she say?" Vander asked. Ekko translated it and Caitlyn looked at the girl in surprise. "Me?"

At the sight of Caitlyn, Isha hid in her dads arms, trying to make herself invisible. She figured that the lady would be angry for having a rock dropped on her.

"It's ok Isha." Ekko reassured his daughter. "She won't hurt you." Isha relaxed and looked around the room. Uncle Mylo and Uncle Claggor were somehow here, she waved at them and made a face which got a chuckle out of them.

"Why are we here?" Isha asked her dad. Ekko didn't have an answer for her, before she could ask again the Lightning bolt returned and blasted the Waterfall which started shimmering with color again.

"I guess were going to watch movies about mommy." Ekko replied, picking up Isha and making his way to the Viewing area. Isha felt excited, they were going to see movies about mommy!

Everybody followed the 2 back to the viewing area (Teen Vi was holding a plate of snacks for Isha) and they all got settled in again. The waterfall shimmered more brightly, startling Isha.

"What's that?" She asked her dad. Ekko just chuckled and Explained "That's where were going to see the movies." He settled Isha onto his lap, trying to avoid the attempts from Adult Vi at getting Isha to sit with her.

He was really going to have to compete for his daughter's affection with his family, wasn't he?

And with that, the Projection started.

Chapter 12: "The Daughter's of Vander"

Chapter Text

The scene opened with the burnt remains of an Airship. The Inspection officer was giving his report about the attack to a pair of Enforcers. Several of the officers were Inspecting the rest of the ship, checking for signs of gang affiliation or left over evidence.

Ekko grimly looked at the scene. Without a doubt this would help fuel Marcus's hunt for them, but it was worth it if it meant keeping Silco's business in the red. A little bit of wiggling from Isha brought the smile back to his face.

An Enforcer with dark blue hair walked into the ship and began taking photos of several of evidence, ranging from Shattered crystal formations, to a few empty bullet shells.

Caitlyn's eyes widened as she recognized herself.

"Look cupcake, it's you." Adult Vi chuckled. Caitlyn rolled her eyes as the nickname, but she was hopeful that she may be able to Uncover the truth behind these events.

Caitlyn walked around the ship until she came across a hatch leading deeper into it. The door was wide open, and just below she could see what appeared to be a mask. She climbed down and snapped a photo of the Monkey mask.

"Is that mommy's mask?" Isha asked her father. Ekko grimly nodded, it was not a good thing that Piltover had a more defining piece of evidence of the Firelights involvement. He didn't blame Powder for that though, if he had been more aware, then she wouldn't have had to save him from Sevika.

"Wait a minute." He thought to himself. If Isha had been born after he and Pow slept together, and this attack on the airship took place after that. Then wouldn't it mean-

"Holy crap, both me and Pow left Isha alone to deal with Silco's shipment."

Immediately Adult Vi scowled at the boy. "What were you thinking? The battlefield is no place for a mother!"

That comment was one that Ekko agreed with, but it seemed Powder didn't.

"Ekko is running the same risk as that future me! Why shouldn't I be able to do so as well?" She demanded. Vi was about to dismiss her when Vander spoke up.

"I wouldn't say that it's no place for you, as much as I hate it the both of you are always going to have to risk your safety. But it isn't wise for both a mother and a father to go into Danger and leave their children alone."

Powder and the Vi's realized that Vander wasn't just speaking hypothetically. He had experience with what happened when 2 parents went into a battle leaving behind their young daughters.

Caitlyn examined the room around the Monkey mask, other than a fried Pink goop, there wasn't much of anything going on here. Suddenly she heard footsteps, Caitlyn quickly hid the mask in her bag for her own Private Investigation as she stood to see the oncoming person.

"Caitlyn Kirramen. Why am I not surprised?" Sherriff Marcus said as he looked down into the hatch.

"Traitor." Caitlyn snarled. She hoped that her future self would have the wits to keep that mask to herself. If she could get in contact with the Firelights, maybe she could help expose that man for who he was.

Isha stuck out her tongue and blew a raspberry at the Enforcer, getting a chuckle out of Ekko. His daughter judged Pilties just like him.

"I was assisting with the Investigation sheriff-"

"You are supposed to guarding your Parents tent." Marcus stated, his voice laced with annoyance.

"If I could just Investigate-"

"I get your used to getting your way girl, but we have a chain of Command. And you are nothing more than a junior officer."

Caitlyn clenched her Jaw as she looked down in submission. That however didn't satisfy Marcus.

"Seeing as your looking for more work, you can take the graveyard shift tonight."

Caitlyn grimaced at that. She had heard how that shift was a terrible one, with the creepy tombs and the sudden noises.

"I want to bash that piece of shit's face in." Adult Vi growled.

Caitlyn grumbled out a 'Yes sir' as the Sheriff took his leave.

The scene ended with a small shot of the Monkey mask still tucked away safely in Caitlyn's bag.

Ekko felt a sense of relief, as long as Caitlyn kept that mask on her, Marcus would have a harder time dealing with the Firelights.

The scene returned to the Firelight tree. Several kids were flying around the tree on their own Hoverboards, a few adults were showing the younger ones how to properly maneuver with the board.

"Their back!" A girl with grey hair shouted as several Firelights returned through the sewer tunnel.

"I'm just glad nothing bad happened this time." Ekko sighed with relief. However, Isha was bouncing on his lap.

"I remember that day!" She signed excitedly to her dad.

Ekko chuckled at his daughters enthusiasm. "That's right bunny. Were seeing some movies from the future."

Isha looked at her dad with confusion. "This happened the day before yesterday."  Ekko's eyes widened at that. He forgot that this Isha was most likely from the future, Afterall Powder still hadn't given birth in his time.

Powder was still leaning on Ekko as they got off of the board. Ekko handed her off to some of the Medicine women, they would take care of her while he sorted the rest of the crew out.

Suddenly a little squeal sounded out, getting a chuckle out of Ekko as his plans fell apart.

Isha ran to her mother and wrapped her little arms around Powders legs.

"That's me!" Isha signed excitedly. Ekko laughed as he lifted her up from the armpits, dangling her above his head.

"That's you sweetie!" He laughed. Isha jumped down from her dads arms and ran around excitedly. Eventually she ran over to Benzo and sat on his lap.

Ekko felt jealous that his daughter had decided to ditch him for her grampa, but he supposed he could understand. In her time, he was always around. But Benzo and the others weren't.

"Hey bunny!" Powder giggled as she picked up Isha and placed the little girl on her lap. Isha squealed with delight as she snuggled against her mother.

"You were late." Isha suddenly signed, pouting with an annoyed expression. Powder gave her daughter an apologetic smile. "Sorry bunny, but things were more intense then we thought."

Isha pouted at that. Puffing up her cheeks, she gave a childlike glare to her dad and signed "If you and mom would let me help, then we could do things better."

"Absolutely not!" Ekko declared. No way in hell would he ever put his daughter in any sort of danger.

"What happened?" Benzo asked his son. "Isha wants to go on shimmer raids!" Ekko said, his voice filled with shock.

Vander laughed aloud at that. "Geez, who ever heard of kids thinking that they could handle 'Real Jobs' even when their parents tell them their not ready?" He asked sarcastically, eyeing Teen VI and her siblings. The Teenagers and Powder looked away sheepishly.

Isha signaled for uppies from Grampa Vander, which the older man gladly obliged to taking Isha into his arms and placing her on his lap.

"She's so warm." Vander though affectionately.

"Hey bunny." Ekko chuckled as he walked over to his wife and daughter.

At that, the entire room went silent.

"Did... did he just say 'Wife?" Adult Vi asked in shock. At that, Isha got up from Vander lap and ran to the front of the Viewing area, signing excitedly "The wedding was so fun! Mommy looked so pretty with her small face net!"

"We... we had a wedding?" Ekko whispered in shock.

Immediately everybody started laughing.

"No way! I Fu- Ow!!" Mylo laughed, being cut off by a slap from Claggor before he could finish his line.

"You Flipping called it." Claggor corrected.

"Yeah yeah. Anyways, I KNEW IT!!"

Both Vi's were laughing their asses off "I KNEW IT!! YOU TWO ARE SO DAMN SAPPY!" Teen Vi laughed, doubling over as she couldn't handle the sheer Joy she felt.  Adult Vi laughed, but with much less force. She hoped that maybe she could get out of Stillwater before the wedding.

Caitlyn felt happy knowing that the 2 Teenagers sealed the deal when they became adults. That would be Vital for Isha's development.

Vander and Benzo were laughing hysterically. "I guess we don't have to wait! Ey Benzo?" Vander chuckled. Benzo just let out the rest of his built of laughs as he settled back down. He hoped that the projection would show them the wedding at some point.

Meanwhile, Powder was blushing tremendously as her whole family laughed and congratulated Adult Ekko. They got married!?!

Well, they already had a daughter, so they probably went about the process in the wrong order.

Little Ekko was no better, He felt incredibly embarrassed at the fact that all of his love for Powder was being broadcasted like some kind of show. He wanted to give whatever Jerk that had brought them to this place a piece of his mind.

Eventually, after questioning Isha for as many details on the wedding as possible, everybody paid attention to the Projection again.

Isha giggled with happiness as Ekko picked her up and swung her around while holding her over his head. She felt like she was flying!

"Sorry were late." He mumbled as he pulled her into a hug. Isha pouted again, but thankfully his little girl was no good at holding a grudge.

"Unlike her mother."  Ekko thought playfully. He still woke up in the middle of the night remembering when Powder and an assisting Eve dumped a bucket of Cold water on him in his sleep for Drawing a mustache with a marker on the blue haired girls face.

Everybody chuckled at that,

"Please never do that." Little Ekko asked his friend. Powder gave him a playful smile "Don't give me a reason to."

The scene cut back to Caitlyn, who was busy exanimating the Monkey mask that she had collected. The progress day festivities were still going on in the background, but she was more focused on deciphering any meaning from the mask.

"Maybe I can get into contact with you guys." Caitlyn suggested to Ekko. The boy simply nodded, he had no real reason to dislike Caitlyn. But the fact that she was a Piltie was already enough to make him uneasy about working with her. And now he had his daughter to worry about on top of the already astronomical danger that would arise in bringing an Enforcer into his home.

The day was already late, the sun had set and Jayce's speech had apparently been much shorter then planned. Caitlyn sighed with exasperation, even after the guard shift in front of the Progress day speech was over she still had to pull Graveyard duty. That didn't sound very appealing.

She was about to sign off with the Sargent when She spotted something in the distance. A large red glow.

"Fire... Fire!" She shouted, getting the attention of her Comrades. They all immediately sprinted to the flames

"That doesn't look good." Caitlyn mumbled worriedly. Vi avoided commenting on how she hopped the flames spread and burnt down a bunch of Piltie buildings.

Caitlyn and the other Enforcers arrived quickly. After one of her coworkers ran off to get the fire brigade, she and the others focused on extinguishing it as quickly as possible.

The fire brigade arrived quickly and the Enforcers focused on setting up a perimeter around the burning building.

After an hour, the flames were extinguished and the Enforcers and Firefighters let out huge sighs of relief.

"I'm glad nobody got hurt." Caitlyn said with evident relief in her voice.

The Next day.

Caitlyn was busy in the Enforcer Precinct  going over several of her notes. Things were bad, really fucking bad.

"What happened?" Teen Vi wondered aloud.

The fire from Yesterday had been a diversion while a group of Criminals broke into the Ceremony hall and stole a Hextech Device. Jayce hadn't opened up much about the events to anybody other than her and the Sheriff.

"Hextech huh?"  Adult Ekko said. he didn't know much about the technology, other than it was Magical or something. And it powered the Hexgates.

Isha ran back to her dad and climbed onto his lap. Ekko grinned and pulled her close, he wanted to spend some time with her.

"What's Hextech?" She asked.

"Magic with machine parts." He gently Explained. Isha looked at him wide eyed. Magic? That sounded so cool!

Something like that could probably help them defeat Silco. To bad Topside would sooner eat their own clothes than help the Undercity in anyway.

Suddenly, Caitlyn overheard some Interesting talk from some of her coworkers.

"So they just dragged him off? No Interrogation or anything?" An Enforcer that she was pretty sure was called Hugo asked his friend.

"Yup, the Sherriff apparently has orders that all Trenchers captured at the loading docks be sent directly to Stillwater. I don't really know why, but hey, it's not our business is it?"

"Who was dragged off?" Caitlyn asked as she approached the Enforcers. The friend of Hugo who she was pretty sure was called Mathew rolled his eyes at her as he explained

"Some Trencher covered in tattoos. I don't know any more than that Kirramen."

Caitlyn looked away, she was lost in thought as she began to piece together some plan.

"What are you going to do Cupcake?" Vi asked with genuine curiosity in her voice. Caitlyn just shrugged, although by following her counterparts train of thought, she could piece it together.

The Next scene showed a huge Island with a massive Prison built on top of it.

"Home sweet home." Adult VI grumbled out miserably.

"Do you think we might meet?" Caitlyn asked the red head. At that, Vi went silent.

Could Caitlyn get her out?

"I need to speak with one of the inmates." Caitlyn said to the Prison Warden, now inside of the complex.

"The guy they just brought in?" Vi wondered aloud. If her future self could figure out that he was one of Silco's dogs, then she would probably beat the shit out of him.

"Folks in here aren't very talkative." The warden explained to her. "I want to offer him a deal, the Information he must have will be very useful to an ongoing investigation. He must have been brought in Yesterday?

The warden looked at his papers. "oof. Inmate 2135. Yeah... I'm afraid that's not possible."

Caitlyn looked at the Warden confused. "Why not?" The warden breathed in awkwardly. "There's been... Lets call it, an "Incident."

"What kind of "Incident"?" Caitlyn asked. The warden looked at her sheepishly.

"The kind that leaves a persons Jaw hanging at an awkward angle."

As he said that, the scene cut to a large tattooed man getting thrown to the ground and getting hit repeatedly with a metal lunch tray.

"Good Janna." Vander whispered, Is that horrible Hellhole the place that Vi had been spending years in?

Vi just shrugged. "If he's one of Silco's dogs, then he had it coming."

Ekko covered Isha's eyes, to which the little girl protested against. She wanted to see the action!

"Nope, Nu uh, stop wiggling." Ekko said as Isha kept trying to see the Violence. Eventually Isha pouted and ran to her Aunty Vi. The redhead gladly picked up her niece and held her on her lap.

"Who assaulted him?" Caitlyn demanded.

As she said this, the next scene cut to Caitlyn approaching a cell down a dark hallway. Inside the cell, a woman dripping with sweat and covered in tattoos was busy mercilessly beating the wall.

The uniform she was wearing read "Inmate 516."

"Oh sh- Dang." Ekko said as he recognized the inmate.

Teen Vi stared wide eyed at the projection. That was pretty Intense.

"Who the hell are you?" Vi demanded form within the cell.

Notes:

Notes: The Firelights didn't steal the Hextech Gem. But they WILL get their hands on it later.

I wonder how Powder will react to VI's return. I have tried to portray how Powder has been trying to make peace with her past. I wonder how all of that development will be affected when a not so dead ghost of her past returns. You know, a reminder of the family she killed? *Wink. Wink.

Chapter 13: "Light it up, and no matter where you are, I will find you."

Shit, Shit, Shit, Shit. I forgot to add more Powder and Little Ekko reactions. This is the remastered Version

Chapter Text

"Some Introduction." Caitlyn snorted. Vi just laughed, she had been warming up to the piltie, maybe they could become... friends in the future.

"Why are you there?" Isha asked her Aunt. Ekko translated for the redhead.

"A very bad Enforcer drugged me and brought me there." She explained miserably. Vi wouldn't be surprised if Isha resented her for missing out on her life.

Isha just stared at he aunt with Wide eyes. Prison didn't look very fun.

"Oh sh-wait." Vi suddenly sputtered. "If Caitlyn get's me out of Stillwater, how the hell am I going to react to Isha?"

Ekko groaned as everybody else laughed. If Caitlyn did get Vi out of Prison, the redhead might kill him if they reunite.

"I took a look at your file." Caitlyn began, trying to sound more confident then she felt. "There's no record of you, or your crime. What are you here for?"

"My sunny Personality." Vi retorted, moving around her cell like a Leopard stalking it's prey. It was easy to stay in control of the conversation with this Piltie.

"Sassy." Mylo chuckled. Teen Vi shot him a playful glare, "And don't you forget it."

"You attacked an inmate, why?" Caitlyn demanded. Again Vi streaked across the cell, Prowling around to keep the Pilties nerves on edge. Not for any real reason, she was just bored.

"Why not?" She replied.

Caitlyn rolled her eyes. The redhead would most likely be very difficult. Vi just laughed and shot Caitlyn a playful look.

"Looks like you got your work cut out for you Cupcake."

"He was a witness in an ongoing Investigation." Caitlyn reasoned. Vi just looked at her with a bored expression.

"Bummer."

Caitlyn sighed. "This was a waste of time." She grumbled as she walked away. Vi called out to her before she could go.

"Hey give Silco a kiss on that winning eye of his for me."

"And now I have a name." Caitlyn grinned. Vi just shrugged her shoulders, she didn't really expect any help from Topside.

But maybe Caitlyn was different.

"Silco?" Caitlyn asked. "The Industrialist?"

Vi just gave her another bored look. "Ok, this is getting old. Just send in the guys that are going to beat the shit out of me so I can get on with my night."

Everybody paused at that.

"What?" Vander whispered horrified. Ekko and Isha stared at the redhead with concern. Has she really been enduring such hell?

Vi just shrugged. "It's not that bad after the first few times."

Caitlyn couldn't believe what she had just heard. That... it couldn't be possible.

Caitlyn debated on what she was about to do. She hadn't shown the Evidence she had collected to nobody, not even the sheriff.

Could she really trust something so Important with an Inmate?

"Yes Caitlyn." Vi said with a fake evil voice, causing Isha to giggle and bounce on her lap. "Trust me."

"Saying things like that doesn't help me do that." Caitlyn groaned, not being able to hide the amusement on her face. When Isha joined in with her own Evil face and making Wizard hands Caitlyn audibly laughed.

Ekko playfully rolled his eyes, he could see so much of Powder in Isha. Always willing to join in on the chaos and fun.

Caitlyn took a deep breath as she stepped past the boundary line. She reached into her bag and pulled out a small notebook with the pictures of the scene.

"Does this mean anything to you?"

Vi looked over to the notebook and shrugged. "It all looks like the usual shit to me."

Caitlyn groaned as she took out some more Evidence form her bag.

"What about this?" She asked, waving a Picture of a spilled Barrel of the Pink goop.

"Same old shit."

"And this?" Caitlyn asked, getting more frustrated. She pulled out the Monkey mask.

Immediately Vi threw herself against the cell door. Caitlyn stepped back in shock.

"That got your attention?" Caitlyn chuckled. Vi just shrugged "It's been a while since I've seen a piece of Powder."

Isha stared at the Projection with annoyance. Looking up at her aunt she signed "The Enforcer has mommy's mask!" Ekko translated for Vi, causing the woman to laugh.

"Don't worry Bunny, I'll get it back." Vi reassured the girl.

"Where did you get this?" Vi demanded. Caitlyn tried to readjust herself, she had a lead.

"Now, you said he worked for Silco?" She questioned.

"Yeah they all do, where did you get this?"

"It was evidence at an attack. Now look, I'll need proof if i am to believe what you are saying about Silco."

"Well I could probably get it for you, but not from in there." Vi reasoned.

Caitlyn nodded in agreement, given on how capable the girls family was, she could most likely get her everything she would need to convict Silco.

"I could get it for you. Just, not from in here."

Caitlyn chuckled "Repeating yourself are we?"

Vi just laughed "Yeah yeah, laugh it up." Teen Vi shot Mylo a glare before he could comment on that. Powder on the other hand, got away with a small snort.

Teen Vi let it go with nothing more than a challenging glance.

"Totally playing favorites." Mylo chuckled, not really bothered by it.

Caitlyn let out a snort of indifference. "In what mad world would I trust someone like you?"

Little Ekko and Powder snorted in defiance. Fuck the Enforcers, acting all high and mighty.

"When were done here, we should get on the Mono heel and flip some Enforcers off." Little Ekko whispered to Powder. The girl nodded.

"Don't go there cupcake." Vi warned. Caitlyn just sheepishly sighed, she really needed to broaden her view. Things were not as black and white as she had originally believed.

"Someone like me?" Vi growled in defiance. "You Enforcers are all the same, Just asshole criminals in fancy Uniforms. You know what, Find Silco yourself."

"Well, maybe not all Enforcers." Caitlyn tried to defend. To her surprise, Vi just eyed her with Interest.

"Maybe not all of them."

Vander had to agree with that, Grayson was pretty reasonable.

"I will." Caitlyn retorted walking away.

Caitlyn eyed the projection in Panic, would she really leave the redhead behind?

Isha giggled as she saw her aunt and the Enforcer team up. She knew that they had to, seeing as she had snuck up on both of them.

"What's so funny?" Vi playfully demanded from the girl on her lap. Isha did a small motion of zipping her mouth shut.

"Why you!" Vi playfully said as she tickled the girls armpits. Isha squealed with delight as she fought back with her own Tickles.

"Undercities gonna eat you Alive." Vi retorted as the Enforcer walked away.

Caitlyn paused, she could probably use the help in Navigating the Undercity.

"Well... It can't be that hard, can it?" Caitlyn insisted. She hadn't seen much of the Undercity, but she figured that she could probably get by.

Vi just shrugged. "It's all about who you know, cupcake."

Little Ekko chuckled. Another Piltie had come to his shop believing just that.

He ended up charging him double in Gold.

The Scene cut back to the Firelight tree.

"Back to the fun group." Ekko chuckled. Isha let out a small hooray, agreeing with her father (Ekko Mentally cheered at that).

"What's boring about us?" Vi demanded, pretending to be hurt. Isha gave her a toothy grin.

Vi resettled the girl in her lap. Her hands were feeling a little more raw then usual, Was it the room?

Isha and Eve were busy rewiring some of the Boards that got damaged in the attack.

"And then you just-" Eve began, getting cut off by Isha who had already reworked the Board.

"Damn kid!" Eve laughed, ruffling Isha's hair. "Your a better Mechanic then me!"

Ekko just stared at the Projection in shock. His daughter could already rework a board!?! It took him and Powder weeks just to make the thing! Much less maintain it properly.

Powder looked at her future daughter in shock. A four year old could already do that? Why couldn't she?

"I hope your not getting into trouble with those devices Isha." Vander said as he took the girl from Vi's lap (Much to the woman's protests). Isha giggled and looked away playfully in her grampas arms.

"Isha." Teen Vi said, waving a cookie Infront of the girl. "This cookie is yours if you promise to stay out of trouble."

Isha looked conflicted, before she took the cookie and devoured it like a chipmunk.

Isha giggled as she signed "I know that Aunt Eve."

Vi recoiled at that. Aunt Eve? That girl was Isha's aunt?

It felt like a punch to the gut. Of course Eve had become Important to Isha. She had been there with powder when the girl was born. She really was Isha's aunt.

Vi couldn't help but feel bitterly Jealous, Eve had been spending time with Isha, taking a spot that in a perfect world, would have been Vi's.

As Eve and Isha finished up in the Workshop, Ekko walked into the room. He scooped up his daughter and hugged her tightly.

"Hey bunny." He began, then he turned to Eve with a serious Expression.

"Scar says we have a situation. Somebody got in a fight with Sevika."

"And?" Eve asked. "Lot's of people get into fights with Sevika."

"yeah, but this one beat the hell out of her." Ekko explained. Eve was surprised, Sevika beat up practically everybody, and somebody had gotten her?

"it was probably you." Ekko said to Vi. The redhead looked happy at that thought, she had gotten to beat the shit out of the traitor. Now all she had to do was find the Firelights, reunite with her sister and her new Niece, Bring down Silco's shitty empire, and then be the best Aunt to her niece (Eve could go fuck herself for all she cared),

"That's worth checking out. I'll get my stuff. Who will watch Isha?" Eve asked. Ekko turned to his daughter with a serious look. "Isha, Mommy is still hurt, so just stay here, tinker a little bit. Keep yourself busy, and DON'T get into trouble."

Isha stamped her foot in defiance. "Let me come with you!" She signed. Ekko just shook his head. "Sorry bunny, but I need you to sit this one out."

As Ekko and Eve left, Isha grabbed her bag and took a bunch of her supplies. Rope, Amber bombs, all of the gear that she would need.

"Isha..." Ekko groaned as he took his daughter from Vander and brought her back to his seat. Adjusting the girl on his lap, he gave her a stern talking to.

At least he tried to, until Isha gave him those sad Golden eyes that melted him in place.

"Just... Just try to behave." Ekko groaned. His daughters baby face had to much Power over him.

Isha grinned as she refocused on the screen. She got away without having to make any promises.

As Isha prepared herself for the trip, she suddenly remembered what she couldn't leave home without.

Isha ran to her small corner, the place where she kept her hoard of stolen goods.

As Everybody absorbed that Information, Ekko noticed Isha tying something to her fist.

"Isha!?!" Ekko said in shock as he spotted the girl wrapping Hand wraps to herself. The girl giggled as she held them up.

"You little Shit!" Adult Vi laughed as she realized that her Hand wraps were gone. When did that happen!?!

Isha happily returned the wraps to her Aunt, Vi was laughing as she got them back.

"Look out everybody. Isha will probably steal your teeth if your not careful." She chuckled. Vander laughed, completely unaware of the fact that Isha had stollen his Pocket Lighter.

Powder laughed at that. "Look Ekko, she gets her thievery from you."

"And she gets her sticky fingers from you." Her friend shot back.

Adult Ekko groaned as he mentally made sure to keep all of his stuff was kept away from Isha's sticky fingers. This was his life now.

And he loved it.

the girl rummaged through her hoard until she finally found it.

The flare.

Vi's initial humorous mood completely shifted as she saw the flare.

Why... Why did Isha have it?

"Light it up, and no matter where you are, I will find you."  Mamas voice said in her head. Isha remembered when her mom had given this to her.

"Wont you need it for Aunt Vi?" She had asked. Mama had looked at her with eyes filled with her hurt.

"Aunt Vi went on a long trip. She's not coming back."

Vi physically recoiled at those words. Powder... she had really lost hope in her, hadn't she? She looked down in shame

The redhead couldn't help but feel like a complete fuck up of a sister. Of course her sister had given up on the idea that she would return. She had abandoned her baby sister. Left her crying and hurt on the cold alley floor.

And now Powder had everything and everyone she would ever need, and Vi wasn't one of those things or people.

It was a dark selfish thought. It was completely unfair and a horrible thing to want.

But Vi couldn't help but wish that maybe Powder had been left a little more vulnerable. Just enough that she might still want her Older sister in her life.

Chapter Text

Violet shook her head. What the hell kind of thought was that?!

Powder deserved to be secure, to have a loving husband, her own family! She...

She couldn't be her baby sister forever.

Benzo seemed to sense this as he put a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Hey. Powder will always want you with her." He comforted.

With a new sense of hope Vi refocused on the Projection

The scene returned to another Projection of Babbettes.

"oh, were back here." Teen Vi Mumbled, immediately pulling little Ekko and Powder to her in an attempt at covering their eyes.

Vi was sitting across from Babette. The Yordle was sadly spinning a Cigar with a hand. Vi was sitting with her head down.

"So Silco just took everything? Nobody from the old days is left?" She asked, knowing full well that they were all most likely gone. All of Vanders former allies were gone.

Vander grimaced. He didn't like the thought of all of his friends being slaughtered by Silco and his henchmen.

The teenagers growled angrily, they would find Silco and help Vander kill the son of a bitch.

Babette sighed unhappily. "Yes, those that tried to stop him were killed. And the few that are left gave up hope and submitted."

Violet picked at her knuckles with her nails. She had to ask about one last piece of Information that she needed. She’s afraid to ask, but the subject finally can’t be avoided any further.

"Have you heard anything about Powder?"

Adult Vi perked up. Would she finally get to reunite with her baby sister?

Ekko grimaced at the thought while Isha bounced excitedly on his lap.

The mere mention of Vi had often been enough to sour Powders mood from where Ekko was in time. He understood that it wasn't because Pow didn't love her sister. It was just because she felt so hurt, and honestly Ekko kind of shared those feelings.

He knew that they were unfair feelings, but he couldn't help but resent Vi for abandoning Powder. Even though it had been a horrible situation.

Babette hesitates a few moments too long before she lets out a sigh. “She’s…around. No one knows exactly where she’s staying. She moves a lot.”

“Anything would help. Anything.” Vi pleaded

“If I knew anything you could use, I’d tell you.”

Vi sighed. “Thanks anyway.”

As Violet stands and Babette hesitates again before stopping her with a raised hand. “Sit. There’s—there’s something else.”

Vi obeys, but she really doesn’t like how stressed the Yordle sounds. It doesn’t seem like good news, whatever it is. “What is it?”

"Here we go..." Ekko mumbled. This version of Vi would likely kill him the moment she found out.

Violet gave Ekko an annoyed look. If she killed the moron for sleeping with her sister, then it was just to bad.

Isha, bless her heart, didn't seem to really understand the implications behind all of this. All she knew, was that Mommy and Daddy might get to reunite with Aunt Vi again,

Isha thought that it would be so cool to have 2 aunts. That's so much better than only having one! Not that she didn't love Aunt Eve, but she wanted to get to know Aunt Vi as well.

Maybe she could get DOUBLE treats whenever they robbed Piltover!

"About... what 4 years ago? Powder came here." Babette began.

Vi raised an eyebrow. So Powder had been here for a talk with the owner. What was so weird about that?

"She... Fuck Vi." Babette said exhausted. She looked up with remorse at the girl's sister.

"Just tell me." Violet Insisted. Babette sighed.

"She came here to ask me for a pregnancy test."

"And the cast is out of the bag." Mylo winced. Seeing how they had all acted when they found out what had happened, he could only imagine how this much more Prison hardened Vi would take the news.

Powder moved closer to her Ekko, just in case somebody tried to attack him.

Little Ekko appreciated the comfort.

Violet bit her lip. She still hated how it had happened, that her baby sister had to go through something so painful at such a young age.

But if she hadn't... Isha wouldn't be here.

Janna this was all so confusing.

And it hits her like a dirty punch. Knocks the wind clear out of her lungs.

“She wasn’t pregnant. You’re screwing with me. There’s no way, this is Powder —“

"Vi. The test result was Positive."

Violet fell over in shock. On all fours, Vi felt like throwing up.

"Pow Pow..." Vi gasped. her baby sister had to go through the hardships of bringing a Life Into the world.

And into a city that was kind to no mother, much less one so young.

Caitlyn winced at the harsh reality of Zaun. She couldn't help but feel sorry for the people of the Underground.

She wanted to make things right with them, but a life time of Injustice towards the Undercity couldn't be fixed with just a few apologies.

"Who- Who Knocked her up!?" Vi demanded.

Babette sighed. She had sworn to Powder and Ekko that she wouldn't reveal this secret to anybody. But Vi, who had come back from the dead, had a right to know.

But was it really her place to give Violet all of these details?

"Well of course it is!" Vi said. She had every right to know that Ekko was the father. How else could she beat the shit out of him?

Ekko wiped his hand across his face. He really didn't want to get murdered by his Wife's Older sister. Hopefully Babette would let him and Powder reveal this to Vi.

"I... I don't know that much." Babette sighed. Vi gave her a hard look, clearly demanding everything that she knew.

"What is her name?" Violet whispered.

"Look- all I know is this: The child's name is Isha."

Vi felt like throwing up. That name- It was Moms nickname.

There was no doubt about it anymore. Powder had a daughter.

Vi had a niece.

"Yeah, I'm still mad at you Ekko. But Isha is just to damn cute." Violet sighed.

Isha gave her aunt a toothy grin.

"Find Ekko, and you should be able to find Powder."

Violet immediately looked to her in shock. "Little man?"

Babette chuckled. "He's not so little anymore."

Vi held Babettes hand, her eyes misty. "Thank you. I'll find them, I'll find my people."

The scene returned to a dark alleyway. The sounds of fighting and shouting were coming from an old wooden building.

"That sounds like you Vi." Claggor sighed.

Teen and Adult Vi looked at him in shock. "You think so?"

Suddenly, a woman exploded through a wooden wall of the building.

Landing in a pile of Spilinters, Sevika fell flat on her face, her body bleeding and bruised and her Metal arm dripping with Shimmer.

Both Vi's grinned at the battered up traitor.

As Sevika rolled over in an attempt at getting up, A boot stomped on her Mechanical arm, pinning her in place.

"Where is my sister!?" Violet demanded.

"It is you." Caitlyn chuckled.

"How am I supposed to know?" Sevika demanded. Violet pressed down harder on the traitors arm.

"I know that you've seen her! Where!?!" Vi demanded as she grabbed the woman by the collar of her shirt.

As Sevika spat curses at Vi, the red head couldn't help but notice a shining glow in the woman's Pocket.

"Is that?" Caitlyn whispered.

"The Gemstone." Vi realized aloud.

Nobody said anything. A device that powerful was in Sevika's, and by extension Silco's, hands.

Before Vi could do anything about it, Sevika took advantage of the woman's distraction and stabbed her.

"Tell you what. When I find your sister, I'll give her your regards." Sevika spat.

"Motherfucker!" Adult Vi roared. She had gotten distracted! And that cunt had gotten the upper hand!

Teen Vi snarled at the projection. She would have to keep a level head when fighting Sevika.

Throwing Vi off, Sevika readied her arm to deliver the killing blow.

Just then, a Rifle bullet shot through her arm.

"Hey where was I?" Caitlyn suddenly said, realizing that the shot could have only come from her.

Vi shrugged, she probably ditched the Blue head to find leads on her sister.

Several more shots from a sniper forced Sevika to retreat.

The woman ran down an alley and got away with what remained of her totaled arm.

"You probably should have killed her." Vander shrugged.

Caitlyn looked at the man in shock. She had never taken a life before...

Yet he had said it like it was no big deal.

Caitlyn slid down from her rooftop and walked up to a now kneeling Vi.

"Why did you let her get away? Now Silco's gonna know that were here." Vi demanded.

Caitlyn snorted "it's your fault for sneaking off."

"Oh so you ditched me." Caitlyn said, sounding offended.

Vi held her hands up in mock surrender "Guilty as charged cupcake."

"that's not my name." Caitlyn demanded.

Vi lifted up her arm "You gonna help me up Cupcake?"

Caitlyn snorted and helped the redhead up. "That's not my name. My name is Caitlyn."

"Repeating yourself?" Teen Vi Mocked.

Caitlyn rolled her eyes.

"But your so sweet. Like a cupcake." Vi insisted.

"You are." Vi teased. Caitlyn looked away with a horrible blush.

Why... why did Vi's teasing make her feel so flustered!?!

However, unbeknownst to Caitlyn, Vi had used the nickname to distract her.

As Caitlyn helped the red head stumble away, Vi clutched the shining thing in Sevikas pocket in her Jacket.

She had no Idea what it was, but it just might help her find Powder.

Chapter Text

As the Scene darkened, Caitlyn was washed over with feelings of confusion and a little betrayal

"You... You took the Gemstone and didn't tell me?" She demanded from Vi.

The older woman gave her that familiar look as if she was talking down to an idiot. "Cupcake, I haven't actually done any of this yet."

Caitlyn continued to glare at the woman, but it was difficult to maintain anger when Violet was looking at her as if she was an amusing puppy that barked at her.

Eventually the Blue haired woman sat down in a huff.

The rest of the cast were kind of shocked by what they had seen.

Isha was seriously wondering whether Aunt Vi had the Gemstone when she had thrown the Crystal bomb at her. Maybe when she got back, she could bring it to mom and dad!

Vander and Benzo were worried. Not only was Violet wounded, but that kind of Stone would only bring trouble.

Ekko and 2 of his most trusted Firelights were zooming through the Undercity.

"Back to the fun group." Ekko chuckled, earning an excited bounce from Isha.

He couldn't believe it. He thought he was dreaming, but he could see her.

The familiar reddish Pinkish hair, the Arm wraps and the new tattoo that read "Vi".

"Finally." Vi grinned. She would finally get to reunite with her brother and baby sister.

The kids that she had practically raised. The ones that she had loved and protected.

It could have just been a six, but Ekko knew that only Vi would be dumb enough to tattoo her face with her name.

Vi gave Ekko an amused glare. Ekko just shrugged, not apologizing at all.

Isha looked up to her dad "Is Aunt Vi dumb?" She asked with a curious expression.

Ekko laughed out loud, throwing his head back in amusement.

"Very. But it all works out for her."

Violet glared at the boy. What filth was he confirming that could slander her perfect image to her niece?

He and his Firelights had been keeping their distance, following from behind and misguiding Silcos men who were following the women.

And that was another problem. Vi, who had returned to the lanes, was running around with a Damn Enforcer!

What the hell was going on?

"Yeah, not exactly a great look Old Vi." Claggor confirmed. If he had lost his Violet, seeing her return would be awesome.

But with an Enforcer in tow? That would raise questions.

The Last thing that Ekko wanted was for Vi to have started working with Silco, he couldn't think of it as possible.

"WHAT!?" Vi roared, completely outraged by the mere Idea.

She whipped around to Ekko "Why would you think that!?" She demanded.

Ekko held her gaze "I don't think that right now. But if I'm being honest, I can see where that Ekko's thoughts are."

Violet's glare doubled in intensity, but Ekko didn't falter.

"If you just showed up from out of nowhere, with an Enforcer of all people, I do think that would be a cause for concern."

"yeah but it's ME! Vi!" The red head demanded.

How could he even think such a crazy thing? Or Even justify the mere thought?

This wasn't just any stranger. This was Violet.

The girl that had hosed him and Powder down after their dives in the Scrapyard.

"Ok, thank you for seeing reason." Vi said in a huff.

The girl that once beat up a guy who had taken away their Monowheel because he wanted to turn it into a neon sign.

Powder and little Ekko tensed at the memory. They had just finished the Monowheel and had just taken it on a run through Zaun. Flipping Off Enforcers and actually being able to get away.

What fun!

Of course as soon as they ran out of gas, some asshole wanted to use the Monowheel to replace the sign on his Warehouse. And he wasn't afraid to take it by force.

After crying to Vi about it, the girl had left for an hour.

She had returned with her fists covered in blood and a chipped tooth, but with the Monowheel in tow.

Powders Older sister. The girl who by definition, was an Aunt to his daughter.

Vi smiled at the acknowledgment. Yeah, she was Isha's aunt. And she would show up that good for nothing Eve and take her place as #1 Aunt.

Vander chuckled at his daughters Antics. She would certainly give the Firelights hell to be there for Isha.

But she had an Enforcer with her?

What the hell was he supposed to think!?

"That Maybe Vi is doing something that you don't understand, and that it's VI!?" Violet insisted. Why would her own family doubt her so much?

"Vi... People change." Ekko reasoned.

Violet had a worried expression on her face after that. Yeah, Ekko and Pow had grown up faster than most kids should... but surely they would still regard her as their "Big sis."

Right?

"Maybe you lost your place in the family you abandoned." The familiar voice spat at her.

"And not only that, a damn Stranger took that place, and owns it even better than you ever could!" It sneered with Venom.

Violet stumbled back into her seat. What a fucking mess she had made...

Caitlyn forgot her initial annoyance with the woman and tried to comfort her.

Ekko only knew one thing. Until he was sure that he could trust Vi, she wasn't going anywhere near his Wife or daughter.

Violet immediately tensed up.

She had never truly been able to get angry with Ekko. Yeah, when she found out that he had knocked up her sister, she had exploded. But she had immediately regretted losing her cool.

But now?

Now she wanted to tear his head off.

"Try and keep me away..." She growled dangerously.

She was so close to getting her sister back, and a niece that she had just learned existed.

If Ekko even thought about standing in her way, she would break his fucking legs.

Powder wasn't sure where she stood on this. If this was Her own Violet, then she would be calling Older Ekko an idiot. But this version of Vi was in fact different.

And maybe paranoia was just something that most parents had. She wasn't to sure though.

Ekko set Isha aside gently as he got up to a standing Vi.

"You know I love you Vi." Ekko began.

"But I have a fucking family. And if you prove to be dangerous to them, then I will do what I have to."

"Their my family to!" Vi Insisted. "Their my sister and Niece!"

"Their my Wife and daughter!" Ekko shouted back. "I won't keep you away as long as you stay in line. Try something, or hurt them in anyway, and you won't be getting anywhere NEAR them."

"I'll make sure of it." He finished with a snarl.

Violet felt a dark surge of Anger go through her.

Before she could leap at the boy and tear his head off, Benzo intervened.

"Look, we all know that Violet is just trying to find you guys. Ok Ekko? Your fears are valid, but causing a fight out of nothing is just scaring poor Isha."

Ekko swallowed as he turned back to his daughter who was hiding in Teenage Vi's arms. The teenager glared at her Older counterpart and Ekko.

"Sit down you Idiots. Your scaring Poor Isha."

The 2 adults sat down.

"I don't care who get's in my way. I'm getting my family back." Vi thought stubbornly.

"Form a perimeter around the depths." Ekko ordered as the girls they were tailing approached the old depths, the place where all the Shimmer Junkies hid.

"Track their movements and make sure you remain unseen."

Vi was back from the dead. But Ekko had no Idea if he could trust her to be anywhere near his family.

Violet glared at Ekko again, but Ekko refused to even acknowledge any sort of wrong doing on his part.

"I'm not going to apologize for doing what's best for my family and people." Ekko said confidently.

The Scene began with Isha running through the depths of the Undercity.

Ekko immediately sighed with exasperation. He really was going to have to keep his daughter on a leash, wasn't he?

Teen Vi held Isha tightly "No running off anymore, ok you little monkey?"

Isha had an offended look on her face for being compared to a monkey. She huffed and looked away, causing her curls to bounce adorably.

Teen Vi chuckled and held her close

"Your lucky that your so cute." She thought affectionately about her niece.

After listening around Zaun for the bits of rumors that she could collect, and by following several of Silco's goons from above, Isha had finally discovered that the people that had attacked Sevika had been a pair of girls. One of which was some Enforcer lady.

That had confused her. Didn't Enforcers work for Silco? Why would they fight with his Left hand? (Mama had told her that Joke and she found it funny)

Vi stared at the projection with sorrow. She supposed that seeing the situation through Isha's eyes, things really did look wrong.

Caitlyn felt agitated that even a child was aware of the corruption in the Enforcers. Was the council really so blind?

Isha knew that Mom and dad often came home from their missions with Injuries because of Enforcers. It was always scary whenever it happened, especially because Mom would always do something reckless to save someone else and would get hurt herself.

Ekko groaned. Looks like things really didn't change in the future. Powder was still running head first into danger to protect everybody.

And worst of all, thanks to fights like the one in the airship, where she saved him, she would keep feeling justified in doing so!

"I have got to be a more effective tactician." Ekko thought to himself.

Otherwise, he might get his wife Killed.

The mere thought made him want to find his Powder hug her and never let go.

Isha hated whenever they left. She always wanted them to either stay with her, or at least take her with them. But neither one even considered letting her tag along.

Isha scrunched up her nose, Mom and dad could be mean. They were all right in leaving her all alone at the tree so they could go and do the fun stuff, yet whenever she wanted to join, they always said no!

Ekko nodded accordingly. His little girl would not grow up with the Violence that surrounded the shimmer raids. No way, no how.

So Isha had put together a plan. She would capture the Enforcer Lady and her friend, tie them up and have Dad come pick them up. Surely then He and mom would Have to let her come with them then!

"Isha..." Ekko muttered angrily. Again his daughter gave him her adorable baby eyes.

And again, to his annoyance, his anger died down.

"She's to powerful." Ekko groaned in his head.

She had the same face that Powder used whenever she wanted something.

She had to stay low as she moved. Her Aunt, Uncle and Dad were currently circling around the depths, probably staking out where the girls were hiding.

"Uncle?" Ekko asked aloud.

Isha looked at him confused "Yeah, Uncle Scar."

Ekko chuckled to himself. Of course Scar was her Uncle, he was a brother to himself and Powder.

So Isha just had to wait until the girls tried to sneak out, and she could Intercept them. She chose a small hiding spot on top of a few Pipes to hide out.

Little Ekko smiled. That was a good hiding spot, his future daughter really seemed to know her way around new places.

Powder was getting jealous of the little girl. She seemed even more capable than her.

After waiting for what felt like an hour, the sound of a building collapsing erupted from the depths.

"What the..." Isha thought to herself. Looking up from her pipes, she could see the whole "Eye of Zaun" Tower falling over. She also noticed the Firelights descending into the depths following the collapse.

Ekko tensed up. Now he was away from Isha, if something happened, he'd be nowhere near her.

"I'm going to put her on a leash." He thought to himself.

Isha was debating on her next move when she noticed the Girls running towards her Pipes. She hid to avoid being seen and let them slide through her hiding spot.

Vi eyed the projection in surprise. Could her niece lead her to her sister?

Back to Powder?

Immediately she began to tail them.

Climbing up a few gutters, she managed to stay above the 2 of them as they sprinted away.

"Do you think Silco's monsters are following us!?" The Enforcer lady shouted.

"Monsters?" Mylo asked. Ekko sighed.

"When somebody takes refined shimmer, their body temporarily mutates and turns them into hulking creatures that move with super human speed."

That was not something that anybody wanted to imagine.

And Ekko had already seen what those creatures could do.

"What they did to Benzo..."

That caught Isha's attention, why would an Enforcer be running away from Silco? Fighting with his people, and now causing him trouble?

It made no sense.

Caitlyn frowned. Were their really no good Enforcers? Did they all feel superior to the Undercity?

"I hope not!" The girl she was with shouted. Although Isha really wasn't sure whether she was a man or a woman.

She was to far up ahead to tell.

Vi's jaw fell down in shock as everybody began to laugh.

Teen Vi laughed "God damn big me! Your just a hulking ogre like Vander!"

Vi grumbled "I AM a girl. Not my fault I'm more muscle then most dudes."

Vander chuckled. His daughter was funny when she was all offended.

Isha Leaped over a small alley and slid down a few slanted rooftops to keep pace with the strangers. Her little legs could only carry her so fast, but she was somehow able to keep up.

"Hey..." Mylo complained, catching on with Powders Jealousy.

The kid seemed more competent than him to!

Isha grinned at the 2 of them. She was just to good.

After what felt like forever, the Enforcer and her friend slowed down in an alley, Isha quietly snuck above them and waited for her chance.

"Just what are you doing..." Benzo wondered playfully. Isha grinned.

What had happened was pretty funny thinking back.

"I think we lost them." The Enforcer said, gasping for air. The other person, a woman apparently, rested her arm and head against one of the alley walls, facing away from Isha.

"Now's my chance." The little girl thought with a grin. She pulled her Miner's helmet over her head and got to work.

Ekko decided that he probably wasn't going to like what he saw next.

She got a rock that looked big enough to hurt from her rooftop, and she carefully dropped it onto the Enforcers head.

With a thud, the blue haired lady fell to the ground as the Rock bounced of her head. Bull's-eye.

The whole audience was silent at that.

Before the Teenagers, Powder and little Ekko burst out laughing.

"She knocked out an Enforcer!" Teen Vi laughed with joy, shaking Isha affectionately.

"That kid is crazy." Little Ekko laughed. Powder had to agree with him.

Their future daughter was something else

Benzo and Vander laughed whole heartedly, their little granddaughter was a super kid!

Ekko couldn't suppress a chuckle. Isha was just like Powder.

Always using that little noodle in her head instead of her fists.

While the Teenagers laughed at Caitlyn's expense, the Enforcer cadet was holding her head in her hands in shame.

"I got defeated by a 4 year old..." She whimpered miserably.

How stupid was she, thinking that she could survive in the Lanes on her own!?!

Even the children were prepared to fight!

Vi chuckled, Isha was really something else.

The Pink haired lady turned around in an Instant, thankfully, Isha already had a Crystal bomb ready and she threw it right at the lady's chest, securing her in place.

Vi's mood went from giddy to shock as the Teenagers focused their laughter at her.

Ekko couldn't hold back a snort. His daughter took out 2 grown women on her own.

It didn't change the fact that he was going to put her on a Leash and install a kind of tracker on her, but it was funny none the less.

"Son of a bitch!" The lady roared as the Crystals grew all over her. Isha figured that the lady was to dumb to figure out that instead of Pushing and pulling at the crystals, all you had to do to break them was wiggle.

"Hey..." Vi said, playfully offended.

Taking out some of her rope, the little girl tied up the Enforcer with the knots that Aunt Eve had shown her. She proceeded to tie a bow on the girls head as she stepped back to admire her work.

"And now I'm the prisoner of a four year old..." Caitlyn whimpered in even more shame, sliding off of her seat.

If this ever got out... She would dump the Enforcer class and just join her mother in a political spot

She was already tempted to do so.

"You and me both Cupcake." Violet sighed.

Vi grumbled unhappily. Maybe it wasn't fair to Eve, but she kind of hoped that the woman would stay away from Isha now that Vi was back.

She wanted her sister back, and the woman would just make things more complicated than they already were.

In fact, she looked a lot like that Painting of Aunt Vi. That couldn't be right, Mama said that she had gone on a long trip. Had she come back early?

"Yup. Aunt Vi is back and here to stay." Vi told Isha. The girl grinned, already thinking of new games to play now that she had 2 aunts.

"Powder?"  The Woman whispered in shock. Immediately she began to thrash against the Crystals.

"I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry!" The woman begged, seemingly on the verge of tears.

Isha raised an eyebrow. On one hand, she liked being compared to mama, but on the other Mom was a fully grown woman.

She was a kid (Not a baby, but a kid).

Isha didn't like seeing the distress this woman was in, she was clearly crazy as she kept Insisting that Isha was Powder.

She liked the compliment, but this girl was hell bent on Isha being someone else.

Vi winced at the sight. She was so desperate to find Powder again, she was basically going crazy thinking about her.

Janna did she regret what she had done. She was going to go back for her after it happened.

But Marcus drugged her. Took her away from her baby sister.

Isha set off her flare, the blue light Illuminating through the Undercity.

Teen Vi and adult Vi sighed. Powder had truly given up hope on her sister ever returning. She had given the flare to Isha with a new purpose.

To bring a mother to her daughter. No longer to bring long lost Sisters together.

As soon as Vi saw the flare, she knew.

Focusing on the girl in front of her, she saw that although she was the spitting Image of her baby sister, her eyes were a sweet Honey gold. Not that beautiful Powder blue.

"Isha..." She thought to herself.

Before she could call out to her niece, the girl had grabbed the bag that Vi had stuffed some of her stuff in.

"Hey! Don't touch that!" She cried.

Ekko Vander and Benzo tensed up.

"Isha, please put it down." Ekko groaned as his daughter ran back to him.

Isha grinned, she liked shiny things. And the Gemstone was really pretty.

Isha turned to the woman in distress. This girl was still pushing against the crystals, only now they were starting to crack.

Isha backed up as the woman seemed to be about to break through. She was scared, this lady might attack!

And she was clearly crazy!

Vi muttered to herself unhappily. In her desperation to find her family, she was driving a wedge further between them

Just in the nick of time though, A familiar figure with an owl mask and 2 other friendly masks descended down to her alley.

It was Dad, Aunt Eve and Uncle Scar!

"What are you doing here!?" Papa demanded. His voice tight with fury. Even though it was disorientated form the voice filter, Isha could still feel his anger.

Isha grumbled unhappily before turning to her dad. "I'm just showing that I can do things! I'm not a baby anymore dad!"

Ekko shook his head. "I know you can do things Isha, but your still to small."

As Isha turned away with a put, Ekko added "And besides, you will always be my baby."

Isha was about to explain herself when the Girl let out a scream.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING TOUCH HER!" She roared, finally shattering through her restraints.

Ekko narrowed his eyes. Vi did the same.

This was probably going to get ugly.

Especially since they were fighting over Isha in the projection.

Isha backed up in fear. Dad immediately moved in front of her, his shoulders pressed forward ready to fight.

"Get her out of here!" He ordered aunt Eve. The woman nodded and went to scoop up Isha.

Before she could however, the other red head moved fast and body tackled Aunt Eve.

Despite the tension of the situation, Vi couldn't help but feel a small sense of satisfaction at getting to tackle Eve.

"Ok that's not fair." Vi immediately thought "She's done nothing but good for Pow and Ekko."

"So once I get back to my family, I'll give her a thanks and send her on her way."

Isha got knocked to the side as the woman got into a brawl with Dad and the other Firelights.

As she saw the woman throw Scar to the ground with a punch, Isha rushed forward to fight. Maybe she was small, but she couldn't leave her friends to fight alone!

"Isha!" Ekko groaned. Picking up his daughter so she could face him, he added "You don't run into fights! Let me or someone else handle it."

Isha pouted, demanding to be put down.

However, the woman ran at her and scooped her up by the her Jacket, holding Isha tightly. The girl thrashed, demanding to be let go.

Ekko clenched his Jaw in rage. Man were his feelings conflicted.

On one hand, he understood that for all Vi knew, they were just some gang trying to beat up a sprout that had popped up on their turf.

On the other, she had grabbed his daughter without express permission.

In Vi's head, she was defending her niece. The girl she had only just learned existed, yet already adored with every fiber of her being.

She hadn't been given a description of Isha from Babette. But this girl Looked so much like Powder that it killed her.

She HAD to be Isha.

And no way in hell would she let these Masked freaks anywhere near her.

"Your playing with fire there big me." Teen Vi commented, noticing Ekko's seething fury.

All Ekko could see was red.

The second Vi had touched Isha, he had lost all sense of himself.

Adult Vi raised an eyebrow. What would he do?

If she was defending her niece, she would fight like hell.

And Ekko hadn't ever really been able to stand up to her before.

With a screech, he charged the woman.

He threw his bat at her so hard that if she hadn't ducked he'd have split her head open.

And before Vi could react, he brought his other Fist down on her head, Knocking her down in a cold daze in a single hit.

Vi's eyes widened.

"The fuck!?" She demanded. How the hell had Ekko gotten the better of her!?

Despite the Violence, Vander recognised what had happened.

"Dad strength." He explained.

"Dad strength." Benzo confirmed.

The teenagers, Vi and adult Ekko looked at the men with confused looks.

"Elaborate?" Ekko asked.

Vander chuckled. "When a parents children are in danger, it is said that they gain immense strength."

"Normally it's the kind of thing that you read in stories. But when you feel like your kids lives are in danger? Your body defies it's limits."

Ekko nodded, understanding what he meant. He had only known Isha for a few hours, but he loved his daughter with every fiber of his being.

And if he had to, he'd kill for her.

He'd do anything to keep this family of his safe.

As Vi fell to the floor, Ekko made sure to stomp on her one last time to Ensure that she stayed unconscious. Vi had a hard head, she wouldn't stay down for long with only a punch.

Vi winced at the sight. Little man was so different, he was more brutal. More calculating. He even seemed much more paranoid.

Was this what having a child did to someone?

Was this how Vander had been with them?

Although given on how hard he fought to save her at the Factory, fighting with that Shimmer creature, she supposed it was just a parental thing.

Although maybe Aunt's had something like that in them to.

Immediately Isha ran to her father and wrapped her arms around him.

Ekko forgot his anger and kneeled down. Pressing his face into her hair, he allowed himself the comfort of knowing that his daughter was safe.

"Right here in my arms. Where I'll never let anything hurt her."

Ekko nodded. His little Isha.

His little girl.

After inhaling his daughters presence, Ekko scooped her up.

Turning to Eve and Scar who had picked up the already tied Caitlyn and the Newly cuffed Vi, he got his board and gestured towards the exit of the Alley.

"We need to Interrogate them." Ekko ordered.

"Back to base?" Scar asked. Ekko sighed, he didn't want them anywhere near his home. But he understood that they didn't have many options.

"Were taking them back. Make sure those Blindfolds don't slip."

Caitlyn, who had been silent in shame spoke up. "Oh yeah. I'm still unconscious because a 4 year old got the better of me."

And then turning to back to Isha, he added "You little Missy, are IN. SO. MUCH. TROUBLE."

Isha eyed her dad worriedly "Am I grounded?"

Ekko rubbed a hand down his face. "Bunny, I love you more than life itself. But if you keep doing dangerous stuff like this, I'm going to have to ground you."

Isha pouted. The last time she had gotten grounded, Mama had made her go back to the Treehouse and stay there while all her friends got to play.

It wasn't like she had been stealing the boards! She just wanted to ride one!

...And maybe go do some exploring. But that was besides the point!

Isha held on tightly to her dad. Maybe if she played coy she could avoid being grounded.

Ekko grumbled. His daughter knew about the power her little Face had over him.

She was dangerous. She'd melt him if she put her mind to it.

Suddenly, she remembered the bag that she had swiped. Opening the satchel before they took off, the father and daughter were met with a shining blue glow.

Ekko reached into the bag and removed the Stone. Rolling it around in his hands, he felt a sudden sense of curiosity.

Isha and Ekko caught each others eyes.

"Maybe you aren't in to much trouble." Ekko mumbled. Isha grinned, maybe she would get out of this one.

Notes:

I'm probably going to make the next chapter focus on Powders relationship with Eve while Isha was still a baby.

Notes:

I REGRET NOTHING!!!!!
