Fear Street: Prom Queen One-Shots

Chapter 16: Ocean

Notes:

Set in the modern-day

Chapter Text

As a graduation gift, Tiffany’s parents gave her two options: a new car or an all-expenses paid week vacation. Tiffany chose the vacation because she so desperately wanted to do something special with Lori, who rarely went on trips let alone resort getaways. So a private resort on the west coast was the perfect way to celebrate graduating Shadyside High.

The sun hung high in a cloudless sky, casting a golden glow over the coastline. Its rays shimmered on the turquoise water, making the surface sparkle like scattered diamonds. Gentle waves lapped at the shore with a rhythmic hush, leaving behind delicate traces of foam on the soft, warm sand.

Palm trees swayed lazily in a light breeze, their fronds rustling with a soothing whisper. In the distance, children laughed as they built sandcastles and chased one another near the water’s edge. The air smelled of salt and sunscreen, with a faint hint of coconut drifting from a nearby beachside stand.

Seagulls glided overhead, occasionally calling out as they circled above, and beachgoers lounged under colourful umbrellas, sipping cold drinks or flipping through sun-warmed paperbacks. The whole scene was calm, bright, and alive — the perfect blend of relaxation and energy on a radiant summer day.

However, that wasn’t what made the day perfect. It was the sight of Lori dropping the towel around her body, revealing a yellow bikini, which clung to her like sunshine itself - bright, playful, and impossible to miss. A breeze caught her hair, sending soft strands dancing around her shoulders, wild and effortless.

From her lounger, Tiffany watched in awe. She wasn’t even trying to hide it. Lori’s beauty had always struck her like something elemental but, in that moment, Lori looked almost surreal. Tiffany’s heart tightened, full of something warm and fierce. It wasn’t just how beautiful Lori looked, it was how unselfconscious she was in it.

When they first started dating, Lori was shy and reserved about her body and she certainly didn’t show it off. Tiffany always encouraged Lori, commented on how gorgeous she was, and helping her realise that she had a perfect figure. It look years for Lori to get to this stage - at a public beach in a bikini - but the wait paid off. Now, Lori was confident and she looked like she belonged exactly where she stood.

Tiffany smiled, knowing she’d never get used to moments like this but she didn’t want to. From admiring her naked to seeing her dishevelled in the morning, Tiffany knew she’d always feel so honoured and proud to have Lori by her side.

Irritatingly, Tiffany wasn’t the only one who appreciated Lori’s bikini. She caught many people giving Lori a once-over, some going back for seconds. It pissed her off but what else did she expect when she had a goddess for a girlfriend?

“Tiff, can you put this on my back, please?” Lori held a tube of sunscreen.

“Absolutely. Come here.”

Lori sat on the edge of Tiffany’s lounger and threw her hair up in a messy bun, giving Tiffany complete access to her back. God, Lori was so gorgeous… Rubbing sunscreen on her palms, Tiffany placed her hands on Lori’s skin, feeling how hot she was from the summer heat. What was meant to be a simple task became difficult as Tiffany grew aroused the more she touched her girlfriend.

Putting more sunscreen on her hands, Tiffany did Lori’s lower back and couldn’t help but slide under her bikini bottoms, grabbing at her ass before sliding around her hips to her front. Nothing indecent but nothing innocent either.

“Tiff!” Lori tried to scold her but it came out as a giggle.

“What? I need to make sure I got everything.” She held her arms around her girlfriend, kissing her ear. “Do you want me to do the front as well?”

“No,” Lori laughed.

“Are you sure? I’m more than happy to.”

“And risk getting arrested for public indecency?” Lori stood and turned to Tiffany who, once again, ogled Lori’s perfect figure. She really did suit yellow.

“Come swimming with me?” Lori asked, holding out her hand.

There was no way she could have said no. She wanted everyone to know this girl was hers and she was so fucking proud to have her.

“Your wish is my command.”

Linking their fingers together, they walked across the hot sand and into the ocean. The water was warm, but still cool enough to send a pleasant shiver through their bodies. Sunlight filtered through the waves in shifting, golden patterns as the salt clung to their skin.

Before they ventured too deep into the ocean, Tiffany scooped Lori up in her arms.

“M’lady,”

“Tiffany Falconer, you better not do what I think you’re going to do.”

“Look, it’s best to just get it over and done with.” Tiffany went further out, the water coming to her chest.

“Tiff!” She squealed, trying to get out of her grip. “Don’t you dare!”

But it was too late. Tiffany pulled Lori under for several seconds before they resurfaced. Tiffany burst into laughter as Lori wiped her eyes and splashed her.

“Tiff! You’re gonna pay for that!”

“Oh, I’m so scared,” she teased.

“You should be!” Lori turned and grabbed a handful of seaweed, making Tiffany’s stomach drop. If there was one thing she HATED it was seaweed, more specifically, seaweed touching her in the water.

“Lori, Lori, Lori, babe, come on now…”

Lori smiled wickedly before pouncing on her girlfriend, wrapping the seaweed around her. Tiffany screamed. The feeling was vile. So slimy, smelly, and gross. She quickly regretted going out so far where seaweed was near. However, Tiffany got her back by pulling her underwater and the couple went back and forth, playing and teasing.

“You’re so mean,” Lori said without malice.

“Says the Seaweed Witch!”

Lori laughed and Tiffany took a moment to relish Lori’s smile. She was utterly breathtaking. The water made her skin sparkle and the sun brought out the brightness in her eyes. To top it off, seeing Lori wet and watching the beads of water roll down her chest and into her bikini? It was like Tiffany had never seen her like this before.

“Come here,” Tiffany held out her hand, which Lori took.

“I swear to God, if you dunk me again…”

“No, nothing like that. I promise. Here,” Tiffany hooked Lori’s legs around her waist.

“Tiff, what are you doing?” She laughed.

“Do you trust me?”

“Yeah…”

Tiffany kissed her girlfriend, needing Lori to be distracted as she put her hand in her bikini bottoms. Lori gasped and jolted.

“Tiff,” she panted.

“Mm?”

Lori quickly looked around. “Here? Now?”

“Mm-hm. I’ve wanted to have my way with you as soon as you removed your towel. I wanted to fuck you right then and there to let everyone on this beach know you’re mine. However, because there are indecency laws, I couldn’t but now, I’ve found a loophole.”

Lori stared at her in what seemed like wonder and amusement. If Lori didn’t want it, Tiffany wouldn’t take it any further and she’d have to wait until they got back to their room. But, fuck, she really wanted to take Lori like this. They had sex in the shower and bath before so this was next on the list - Tiffany’s list anyway.

“We don’t have to,” Tiffany said. “You know we never have to.”

“I didn’t say I didn’t want to,” Lori corrected. “I just don’t want anyone to see us.”

Tiffany’s heart skipped. “Well, now’s the perfect time to practice your poker face because you bet your absolutely biteable ass it won’t be the last time we do something like this.”

Lori’s eyebrows lifted. “Like this?”

“Like this.” Tiffany pressed her mouth to Lori’s and began.

Lori released a soft moan into their kiss, holding onto Tiffany tightly. Tiffany groaned. Lori always felt so fucking good. Every time she did this, she never wanted to leave. Thank God she wasn’t a guy or else Lori would have gotten pregnant by now. Although, the thought of Lori carrying her baby was quite the turn-on. But that was a fantasy for another time, she had more pressing matters to attend to like making her girlfriend come in the ocean.

“Tiff,” Lori uttered into Tiffany’s neck, her hips now meeting Tiffany’s movements. “I… I don’t think I can be quiet…”

Tiffany beamed. She’d never get over being able to make the most gorgeous girl in the world cry out in pleasure every time they had sex.

“Use my neck, babe.”

Lori’s legs began trembling - the tell-tale sign she was on the cusp of falling a part - and she quickly buried her face in Tiffany’s neck. Within seconds, Lori let go. She stifled her cries by biting Tiffany’s shoulder, almost instigating Tiffany’s own release but she held out. This was about Lori’s pleasure.

“Did anyone see?” Lori mumbled, now limp.

“Too bad if they did.”

“Babe…” She whined.

“No,” she laughed. “I highly doubt it. Was that good?”

Lori leaned back with a lazy grin on her face. “Very good.”

They kissed and Tiffany’s chest filled with pride. Despite knowing she was good at sex, Tiffany always wanted to make sure Lori enjoyed herself. There was never a time where Tiffany was unable to get the job done but the doubt sometimes lingered.

After a peaceful dinner on the beachfront followed by a sunset walk, the couple were tangled together in their king-sized bed, tucked into layers of crisp, white sheets and downy pillows. Lori rested her head against Tiffany’s shoulder, one arm lazily draped across her naked waist. Their vacation truly did bring out their libido’s.

Tiffany traced her fingers along the curve of Lori’s back, slow and rhythmic.

“I could stay here forever,” Lori murmured, voice soft with sleep.

Tiffany smiled into her hair. “Me, too.”

Outside, the distant crashing of the waves faded into the background as silence wrapped around them like another blanket. The room felt like a little world of their own - still, safe, and full of love. As Lori’s breathing slowed, her hand found Tiffany’s and held it loosely, their fingers fitting together like something inevitable.

Neither of them spoke. They didn’t need to. The warmth between them said everything - a quiet promise, steady and sweet, as the night stretched on.
