she stared at herself in the mirror. it didn’t look any different from her old one except for the obnoxious avenger symbol on the arm.
but it felt completely wrong. the fabric wasn’t the one she was used to. it was itchy and tight. the neck of her suit felt suffocating and restrictive.
she felt tears well up in her eyes. she pulled at the suit, trying ways to make it feel okay, but nothing was working.
