Chapter 1: Prologue

It had only been a few hours since the big battle with Cyn, since they had managed to save the world.
V had been thinking a lot, and she realised, she sees Uzi as family, like a little sister, annoying, mean, always arguing with her, but also someone she wants to protect. But could she tell Uzi that? Uzi would probably just laugh in her face.

Uzi was confused, she barely even knew V, not properly anyway, but yet, she saw her as something more than just “N’s friend”, she thought that maybe, she saw her as family, like an annoying but caring older sister. Why she felt like this she didn't know, all she knew was she couldn't tell V, there is no way V wouldn't laugh her head off if Uzi started talking about feelings and family and emotional mushy stuff.
Chapter 2: Plan annoy V

“I just don't know why I feel like this!”
Uzi was lying on her couch, ranting to her mum.
“Well, I'm not exactly happy you see one of Cyn's murder pets as ‘family’, but I'm more ok with it than you dating one of them!”
“I'm not breaking up with N, let it go mum.”
“He killed me!”
“He apologised!”
“So?!”
“Ugh!”
Uzi stood up and stormed out.
She wanted something to cheat her up, so she decided to go and annoy V.

“Hey loser, what are you up to?”
Uzi knew the perfect way to annoy V, after all, annoying V was how she showed affection, though she would never tell V that.
“Why?” V sounded extremely suspicious, which was justified, Uzi was usually up to something.
“Just thought I'd… yoink!” Uzi quickly grabbed V's glasses off her face and started running away.
“UZI YOU LITTLE BRAT!”
V chased after Uzi, eventually catching up to her and tackling her to the floor. Uzi was laughing like a maniac, this is *exactly* what she wanted to happen, she loved a good chase.
“Why do you have to be so annoying?!”
“It's my job to annoy you.”
“And why is that your job exactly?”
What should she say? ‘because I see you as a older sister and that's what little sisters do’? Absolutely not.
“Because it's funny to watch your reaction.”
“Ugh, just give me back my glasses!”
“Fine, here. But you have to admit that was fun.”
“No. It wasn't.”
V had put her glasses back on and was standing up, she looked like she was about to walk away, but Uzi didn't want her to go. Part of her really wanted to tell V her feelings, to tell her that she thought of her as a sister. But the other part of her knew V would laugh, and she would potentially lose her best friend, she couldn't risk that.
“Aw don't go yet, just because you look like a nerd now doesn't mean you have to stop having fun.” She said, standing up.
V laughed a bit, gentilly punching Uzi on the arm.
“I am going, because when you interrupted me, I was in the middle of trying to fix the communicator.”
“Oops.”
“Cya.”
Chapter 3: Why do I feel this way?

Why does she have to be so annoying? And why does it make V feel happy? This was terrible, Uzi stealing her glasses and making her chase her around the colony should have made her mad, but she felt happy that Uzi wanted her attention. This was stupid. She should just tell Uzi to leave her alone, to go bother N. But did she really want that? Ugh she hated this. And she'd never even had a proper family before! How did she know that it wasn't just some other feeling?
“N? Can I talk to you?”
V had fixed the communicator, and had been wandering around the building trying to work out her feelings.
“Of course V!”
“It's about Uzi…”
V sat down on the sofa across from N.
“I- I feel like she's, I don't know, like a sister to me or something? I don't know. God this is awkward.”
“Awww, V! That's so sweet! We're like a happy little family!”
“N, seriously.”
“I am serious! This is amazing! Let's go tell Uzi how you feel, I'm sure she feels the same way!”
“N! NO!”
“Why not?”
“Because Uzi will laugh her head off at me! ‘The stupid murder machine has feelings!’. She just likes to annoy me anyway.”
“V…I'm sure that's not true, I bet she sees you as family too.”
“...I wish, but it's Uzi. Even if she did, I'd never know.”
“That's why you have to tell her first! Because you're both emotionally repressed!”
V suddenly shot up.
“You’re emotionally repressed too.”
And with that V walked out, not knowing how to feel.
