She heard icepaw and Mousepaw talking "I wonder what my warrior name will be!" Squealed icepaw "you've only been a Apprentice for one moon" hissed mousepaw "Yeah but your warrior will be mouseeater!" remarked icepaw "calm down! " Vinetail hissed at the ice colored tom and the grey tom "there's a Clan meeting happening!" Snapped Vinetail. Firekit started started walking,as he was 5 moons old and in 1 moon was going to be a Apprentice. Walked to his dad and mewed "when will I be an apprentice?" He mewed "well I am sure that you become an Apprentice one sunrise - what was foxflight going to say was cutoff by sunpaw who wanted to know when the sunhigh patrol was "hey foxflight when's the sunhigh patrol!" He asked "I'll go ask patchstar when that's happening" foxflight assured sunpaw about the patrol. "hey patchstar when is the sunhigh patrol?" He guessed. "Foxflight I was about to announce it right?" Patchstar grunted. There was a coughing noise from his throat. "I'm going to find the medicine cat" decided foxflight "no it's fine" coughed patchstar "I still have 4 lives left" wheezed patchstar "STARCLAN DIDN'T GIVE YOU THOSE LIVES FOR NOTHING" foxflight lashed out at the black and white tom. Foxflight leaped to the hightree because patchstar was resting so he was acting as leader"would i be a good leader?"He thought to himself "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the Hightree for a Clan meeting"."these warriors and there Apprentices have been chosen for the sunhigh patrol""Sandstone,icepaw, Vinetail,Ashwing,foxflight and Snakefoot" he concluded. He leaped off the hightree and started to do the normal like refreshing the scent markers and icepaw's nonsense like"oh foxflight you like Sandstone"and stuff like that. But then Snakefoot and Ashwing were yelling with a Adderclan patrol "this is our territory!" The other cats ran over there "we have scent markers on this side of the gorge!" They yelled "you mouse-brained fools you can't even swim!" snickered eeltail "why even have it when you eat snakes!" Growled Vinetail "neither of this eat fish so why we arguing over a gorge!?" Yelled icepaw "at least I don't eat mice and birds!" Yelled darkpaw and lightpaw "the Adderclan Deputy is there kin" foxflight thought to himself."They even brought that crow food!"tempted crowpaw "you're the to talk!"retorted Snakefoot. Snakefoot leaped for crowpaw but the tabby tom missed him "no!" The tom yelled "Snakefoot!" Shrieked foxflight. It was to late Snakefoot was gone. "We need to find the clan leader or somebody!" Yelled Vinetail "I'm going for it" foxflight murmured jumped down not caring if he wasn't able to see his kits again. But then patchstar starred carrying him and a reddish she-cat carried Snakefoot to the shore "were almost there" Rosefur muffled "we are going to vigil for Snakefoot at dusk" murmured Freckleshine "i couldn't save him" foxflight sniffled "it's okay" vowed Vinetail "senior warriors can act grumpy towards misbehaving apprentices" " this is different from that!" One sunrise later.  silverkit and his littermates a flame colored tom and calico she-kit were playing "no ill be blossomstar!" Blossomkit exclaimed "and silverkit you'll be silvertail and you'll be Deputy!" "What about firekit?"  Silverkit announced "he'll be the medicine cat!" Blossomkit giggled"Hey!""i don't be a medicine cat!" Firekit huffed "but medicine cats are important to the clan" Silverkit argued "they heal warriors and Apprentices and do lots of other things!" Silverkit countered "but medicine cats can't fight""and I wanna fight!" Firekit defended "kits?, my kits?" Foxflight called the silver tabby realized the voice to be his father Foxflight "hey Birchheart can I talk to the kits for a moment" foxflight asked Birchheart "I'll have to get there attention""kits?" Birchheart asserted "yes?" All the kits spoke "did we do something wrong" silverkit whined "no" foxflight murmured "it was something I did wrong" "like what" Blossomkit wondered "well I let Snakefoot go." Foxflight started sobbing "he's dead." "He's in starclan now." "What happened to him?" Silverkit gulped "he tried to crowpaw but he couldn't reach the black tom and fell down the gorge and died" foxflight cried. silverkit could see how sad has father was. A few moments later he said "the elder Larchfur is very sad because of her kit dying" foxflight mumbled. No! Noone deserves this! Silverkit thought to himself. Is clan life this unfair always? Silverkit thought. "Does becoming a warrior come these loses?" Silverkit hesitated "not always" foxflight smiled. "Okay" silverkit bubbled. He returned to the nursery.

Blossomkit squealed "were gonna become Apprentices now!" Silverkit beamed "it's starting!" "Blossomkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Blossompaw. Your mentor will be Hazelfoot. hope Hazelfoot will pass down all they know on to you." "Hazelfoot, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from foxflight, and you have shown yourself to be loyal and courage. You will be the mentor of Blossompaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Blossompaw." Patchstar affirmed. "Silverkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as silverpaw. Your mentor will be Ashwing. I hope Ashwing pass down all they know on to you." "Ashwing, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from flipbeam, and you have shown yourself to be compassionate and skillful. You will be the mentor of Silverpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to silverpaw." Patchstar announced "fireKit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as firepaw. Your mentor will be foxflight. I hope foxflight will pass down all they know on to you." "Blossompaw,Blossompaw, silverpaw, silverpaw ,firepaw,firepaw!!" The clan exclaimed, congratulating the Apprentices."now we'll be taken seriously!" Firepaw exclaimed "but you will have to get to ticks off of Elders" Hazelfoot reminded the flame colored tom "though there is only one elder is it will be easier" "well when do start?" Silverpaw asked "now!" Ashwing commented. Later that day the three Apprentices and there mentors went hunting "so Blossompaw to catch birds you have to stay- silent- " Blossompaw pounced on the pheasant. "That works too.." Blossompaw picked up the fresh-kill. they started to walk back to camp and put down the fresh-kill. Silverpaw said "hey Blossompaw wanna share a shrew?" His sister said "yeah" "we need to save some of this for Larchfur" silverpaw decided."she's been more sad because what happened to her son." Blossompaw grieved for the she-cat. "Oh how i miss Snakefoot he was great mentor for your father" the ginger and brown she-cat's voice croaked."do you need your ticks removed" silverpaw replied "no,Mousepaw already got them" Larchfur cackled. silverpaw could see the moon rising and said "I think it's time to go to the Apprentices den now" it was silverpaw , Blossompaw and firepaw's first sunrise in the Apprentices den.

The pale silver tabby tom woke up his surroundings looked different. The grass was dark red instead of green. The trees where black and red. "Am i dead" silverpaw murmured to himself "this doesn't look like starclan" silverpaw muttered. He was as scared as a mouse. He didn't know if he was dead or not. What ever was in the shadows he was going to face it. He could hear "he's one of his kin." From a gray tom with amber eyes. And "we will turn them against their own clan!" Silverpaw felt like prey here like he going to be killed at any point. A tawny tom with blue eyes stepped up to the scared tom. "Who are you!?" Silverpaw hissed "let's see what this cat has got!" Silverpaw unshethed his claws he scratched at the Tom's muzzle and chest "let's see how you like this!" Silverpaw was still very very scared this "who are you , and what is this place!?!" Silverpaw snarled at the tom "to answer that I'm foxshine i was betrayed by my clan,Cedarclan and this the dark forest where cats who have died and terrible things" he responded "I haven't done anything wrong, so why am I here" he whimpered "it's because you are his kin and are Cedarclan" foxshine stated "who's kin!?" Silverpaw Growled "mintwhisker's,he was Cedarclan Deputy and redpelt stopped me from becoming leader after I killed whiskerstar my mother" he concluded "why would you kill the person who kitted you?"He whimpered "enough mouse-brained questions!" Foxshine scoffed at the pale silver tabby he unshethed his claws and clawed at silverpaw's muzzle and chest "OWWWWWWW" as blood dripped down silverpaw's nose. Silverpaw ran as fast as possible "no i don't wanna die!!!" Silverpaw cried. He hid behind a tree or whatever that was. Silverpaw stared at his chest and saw blood. please don't let me die starclan! He thought to himself. A dark gray tom with a bad eye scar and orange eyes was right behind him. "PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" Silverpaw quaverd and spiked up his fur and unshethed his claws and scratched at the gray tom "who are you!?"Silverpaw yelled "your foxflight's kin aren't you?" Wolfclaw challenged the young tom "how do you know that?!" Silverpaw hissed "I'm his uncle that's how I know him" Wolfclaw answered "please I just want to go" silverpaw panted

Silverpaw woke up with the same scars on his chest and muzzle "no is this real?" Silverpaw whimpered. Icepaw woke up next "where did you get those scars from?" Icepaw looked concerned "I got.. from the scars from the dark forest" silverpaw tumbled over his words because of what happened. Silverpaw ran to the medicine cat. Sweetsong was scared of silverpaw's scars instead of her happy and calm attitude she was shocked "oh my starclan what happened?" The calico she-cat whined "I still don't know " silverpaw murmured. Silverpaw's father woke up next "dear starclan it happened,your training in the dark forest!" Foxflight fretted "what happened to me?"Silverpaw asked himself "this happens when there's a gray tom who's my kin" foxflight verified to silverpaw "what happened to them?" Silverpaw murmured "well Wolfclaw died and went to the dark forest.""birdfang last I heard got exiled from Adderclan" foxflight explained "now it's you" "me? It's me?" Silverpaw gulped "is this a nightmare?"Silverpaw asked foxflight "no it's real" foxflight assured silverpaw " thank you " silverpaw beamed "wait isn't the gathering today" silverpaw thought to himself. Later that day he and his clanmates were going to gathering."why is it so muddy here?" Firepaw complained. "We are walking in a swamp!" Another complained. It felt so slow walking around in mud and swamp water."i think my paw got tangled in some roots!" Mousepaw screamed. Dandelionstem started to try to claw off the roots off the gray apprentice "can someone try to get these roots off?" He asked "can I help?" Silverpaw chimed In "yes get mousepaw out the roots here" he answered. After little more struggling mousepaw got out the roots "I thought I was going to be trapped in these roots forever!" Mousepaw squealed."though sweetsong will have to check up on that paw" silverpaw advised to the gray tom. The gathering was starting. This is my first ever gathering! Silverpaw thought. Noticed three older apprentices, there lightpaw darkpaw and rainpaw! Silverpaw noted to himself. Patchstar's voice was loud "Cedarclan has three new Apprentices!" "Blossompaw, silverpaw and firepaw!" The whole gathering chanted "Blossompaw silverpaw firepaw!"Patchstar announced. "Well Beachclan has one new apprentice" flowerstar also added "mudpaw!" She declared everyone else chanted "mudpaw! Mudpaw!" Silverpaw couldn't wait to go to sleep. A little later they arrived back at the clan. "Silverpaw? Mousepaw?" Sweetsong called. Sweetsong started to put cobwebs in his wounds. And checked up on mousepaw. Then silverpaw went to sleep

Silverpaw woke up again in the same place as he was last sun set. "Please just get me out" silverpaw muttered "you can't mouse-brain" foxshine laughed "have you got anyone else here!?" Silverpaw asked foxshine "yes!" Foxshine answered. Silverpaw saw Wolfclaw, lightpaw, a tom with tufts of his fur ripped out and darkpaw. "You cleanpaw! Darkpaw your as much use as a dead fox!" Shredpelt yelled at the dark Grey tabby tom "sorry!" Darkpaw cried. "What am I doing here!?" Lightpaw yelled. Silverpaw was able to run away and claw at foxshine's flank. "Why are you doing this to me?!" Silverpaw hissed "because your special" he purred at silverpaw "how!?"Silverpaw hissed "because we can use you against the clans" he beamed "your special to the clan, because your related to the clan leader and the Deputy!" Foxshine beamed "but why are you using me? He questioned. Silverpaw ran to lightpaw "Lightpaw are you ok??" Silverpaw asked "yes I am but I am as confused as you are" Lightpaw whispered "I've pieced together what's been happening here""whenever starclan doesn't accept a dead cat they go here" silverpaw quoted "if I get hurt Twigfrost will be sad." Lightpaw remembered. "They want us to turn against the clans" "our kin are cats who have power, like how my father is the clan Deputy and my mother is the leader's daughter" silverpaw disclosed to lightpaw. ------------———————-—————————— A quarter moon later it was time for the half-moon meeting for the medicine cats. Silverpaw snuck behind sweetsong he was slowly walking to the moonpool. I see the mistpath! Silverpaw noted to himself. He wanted some answer from some starclan cat! On who theses cats are! All the medicine cats and silverpaw were standing on the miststones, silverpaw was mesmerized by the shiny rocks and water. Oh my starclan! No literally it was starclan! Silverpaw felt exhausted by walking to the moonpool by trying to get an answer to what even was dark forest. He took a sip of water from the moonpool. And he fell asleep. He woke up in a place that looked a lot like his surroundings he looked up he didn't see the red grass or like he normally saw."Is anyone there?" Silverpaw asked "the dark forest is starting to grow stronger" nightlight mentioned "they have started to recruit clan cats""one's who's kin have power." Foxtail hesitated "I think we have an lost apprentice here" bluestripe hinted to foxtail "what is happening here?" Silverpaw asked "wait what are you doing here,you don't look like a medicine cat apprentice and you don't look dead." Bluestripe wondered "it's well uhh it's about the dark forest ""i was just wondering if any starclan cat knows about anything else" silverpaw Finished "yes my mate is a dark forest cat" the blue-gray tom answered "can you tell me please or just show me?" Silverpaw pleaded "yes, wait it looks like you've already been training in the dark forest" bluestripe mumbled "it's ok""but could you give me more information?" Silverpaw asked to bluestripe "yes, lets go" bluestripe added. They started to get there. The dark forest warriors were talking about how to plot against the clans. "There is foxshine,he was my mate until I learned how he got in to dark forest" bluestripe mumbled "how" silverpaw asked "after I got ran over by a monster, he wanted vengeance because he thought i wanted it, softtail and whiskerstar got killed for no reason because of his claws, though my former apprentice, redpelt had to kill him, two innocent cats got killed for no reason" bluestripe murmured "please bluestripe come back! I didn't mean to kill softtail and whiskerstar! I just wanted your approval!" Foxshine cried "starclan had already made it's decision many moons ago" bluestripe defended "did i do something wrong?" Silverpaw murmured. They were walking back to starclan territory. "No" bluestripe smiled. Silverpaw woke up before everyone else he started to walk back to camp but then got stopped by a blue-gray tabby tom loner "who are you" silverpaw asked "birdfang, I got exiled from Adderclan because I was related to Wolfclaw" birdfang explained "did you really follow a medicine cat to the moonpool" he groaned. Silverpaw ran to camp and he fell asleep almost instantly.

He woke up it was already dawn. "no i cant be late for training!" Silverpaw grumbled "didn't you follow sweetsong to the moonpool last sundown?" Blossompaw asked "i wanted to know more about the dark forest okay!" Silverpaw protested "okay but why, please don't tell me that you're training in the dark forest!" Blossompaw freaked out "don't you see the scars on me, Blossompaw?" Silverpaw hinted to Blossompaw "oh, I thought you were reckless in your sleep" Blossompaw replied "didn't you see how scared I was earlier this moon?" Silverpaw addressed "and they are recruiting other cats, and they're a pattern- Silverpaw was cutoff by Blossompaw "what is the pattern?" Blossompaw chirped in "it's that if a cat's kin has power over in their clan like a medicine cat, Deputy or a leader. Like flowerstar, sweetsong and eeltail." Silverpaw continued catching his breath, "and lightpaw and darkpaw and i think mudpaw are also training in the dark forest, there kin are cats who powerful in a Clan, lightpaw and darkpaw's father is eeltail who is the Adderclan Deputy, mudpaw who's sister is the medicine cat of Beachclan." Silverpaw Finished "well what if they keep recruiting or training cats?" Blossompaw asked scared "oh you'd know quickly, the grass is red the trees are black and red like some cursed prophecy dream sent from starclan, the cats show no care for the Apprentices they are training and they still have the scars that got them sent there, and how the rules of the warrior code they broke got them sent there starclan cant accept them there If they did, it would be terrible." Silverpaw Finished having to catch his breath. Blossompaw looked scared her shaking like a mouse moments before it got caught. "Why would they do that to you?" Blossompaw whimpered "i really don't know" silverpaw said sternly. There other denmates stared to wake up , first icepaw then sunpaw and firepaw and last was mousepaw. "What where yall talking about?" Firepaw groggly asked. "We were talking about the dark forest and they work, as much as I know" silverpaw replied to the flame-colored tom. Sunpaw was trying to find out was the Apprentices were talking about " what are you bee-brained Apprentices talking about?" Sunpaw wondered maybe being a little harsh on the Apprentices "the dark forest sunpaw" Silverpaw answered sunpaw. They heard patchstar's voice, he was ready to prepare a sunhigh patrol. " all cats who can catch there own prey gather here beneath the Hightree for a Clan meeting" Patchstar announced to the clan, the Cedarclan cats. Foxflight, Dustnose, Sandstone, Freckleshine, rosefur , Eggcloud, Vinetail, Ashwing, Hazelfoot, Ivytrot, dandelionstem, birchheart, icepaw , sunpaw, Mousepaw, firepaw and Blossompaw were all there, sorrelleaf, sparkkit and Larchfur were all nursing, to young or old to be there but they were watching. "Foxflight , Hazelfoot , Ashwing, vinetail Rosefur , sunpaw ,firepaw, Blossompaw and silverpaw, you go and patrol the area near the thunderpath." Patchstar also started organize another patrol. But by then they were walking towards there destination. "Eek!" Silverpaw jumped, the thundering of a monster scaring Silverpaw, once it stopped Blossompaw heard the mewling of two kits not far from the cats, "the kits are across the thunderpath, we have to cross it!" Blossompaw commanded "wait no!-" Silverpaw cried "it's ok Silverpaw" Ashwing assured to silverpaw, silverpaw felt more calm, still worried about crossing the thunderpath, hearing about what happened to bluestripe. "Cross!" Foxflight commanded to the other cats, all of them running at the same time they where able to reach the other side pretty quickly, they saw what looked like a twoleg object, it was brown and inside there two kits about six moons old, one was white and the other was white with ginger legs,tail, ears and face. "Blossompaw you discovered them, so you can name them." Vinetail convinced the cailco she-cat "I'll name the white one snow and silverpaw can name the other one" Blossompaw beamed "I'll name them cinnamon" he replied. We will have two more clanmates! Silverpaw thought to himself. "What twoleg would do this to kits!" Foxflight demanded "all twolegs are fox-hearted and mouse-brained" Ashwing commented on foxflight's comment on twolegs "when I was younger, a twoleg kit tried to pick me up" Vinetail added "but arnt twoleg kits young, I don't think they can hurt cats" silverpaw hesitated "yes but they are still mouse-brained" Vinetail clarified to silverpaw "let's gets those kits back to camp,they look like they haven't ate in days." Foxflight advised to the warriors and Apprentices. "Vinetail you carry cinnamon and rosefur carry snow." Foxflight commanded to the she-cats. They started to cross the thunderpath, silverpaw was less scared after they crossed, they walked in a forest, silverpaw stopped "wait what's that place?" Silverpaw asked "that's a twoleg den, that's where twolegs live." Foxflight answered "hey!" A cat chirped, he was bright ginger and had yellow eyes "you don't look like a kittypet?" Silverpaw asked to the tom "oh, my twolegs let me outside with out a collar, im still taking care by twolegs." Sunny addressed to silverpaw "oh hey sunny, these cats are my kits, Blossompaw,firepaw and silverpaw" foxflight stated " we have get these kits back to camp, see you later Sunny!" Foxflight beamed. Later they got back to camp, the fresh-kill pile was full but the thunderpath patrol brought two new additions to the clan. "What are kits doing here?" Patchstar asked "we found them near the thunderpath and they haven't eaten in days" foxflight said to Patchstar "they look about apprentice age" Patchstar clarified "my kits already named them, The white one is named snow and the ginger and white one is named cinnamon" foxflight replied to patchstar. "I'll start there Apprentice ceremony." You will be the mentor of snowpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to snowpaw." Patchstar croaked "and cinnamon, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as cinnamonpaw. Your mentor will be Ivytrot. I hope Ivytrot will pass down all they know on to you." Patchstar coughed "Ivytrot, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You have received excellent training from Freckleshine, and you have shown yourself to be thoughtful and intelligent. You will be the mentor of cinnamonpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to cinnamonpaw." Patchstar Finished "Patchstar are you ok?" Birchheart asked "you were coughing during snowpaw and cinnamonpaw's apprentice ceremony" Birchheart hesitated as she questioned her father's and leader's health "no, im okay birchheart" Patchstar continued still coughing. it was very obvious if that patchstar didn't get treated he would lose a life and only have three left. I'm back at this carrionplace! Silverpaw thought to himself as he walked around the place thinking about the new cats he could see "let's see who here foxshine, Wolfclaw, Shredpelt and that one gray tom" bur silverpaw could hear some yelling "birdshine he KILLED you don't you know!" A dark gray tabby she-cat with white patches and sunlit ice eyes yelled at a blue-gray tom with silver eyes "ATLEAST I DIDN'T THINK I WAS STARCLAN" Birdshine barked at the she-cat with fury in his eyes "my cousin got killed by some loners because she was small!" "Don't you have ANY empathy for me!?" Yelled lilyneedle at Birdshine "MAYBE SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE GONE OUTSIDE CLAN TERRITORY" birdshine scoffed "just stop fighting please!" Swiftdapple cried trying to calm down the argument his orange eyes looking at lilyneedle and birdshine, his brown dappled pelt tinted red under the dark red "sky" "wha- there's more of you?!" Silverpaw yelped "yeah, there's even more of us! Over there is Hawkstar,I don't why he acts like that. Twistedclaw, Mistyfire and ashstar, they are more "normal" than some of us but they are all here for a reason" Swiftdapple mentioned. Silverpaw looked at the cats over there and saw a gray tom with blue eyes and bite scars on his belly and back, a gray she-cat with bright ginger patchs and a black tom with twisted claws, they were bent the wrong way. "W-was his name always "Twistedclaw"? Silverpaw asked to Swiftdapple "I wasn't always Twistedclaw" Twistedclaw Growled "do you need to know why I wasn't always Twistedclaw" the tom croaked "yes! " Silverpaw jumped "ok, I was a tom in Adderclan and I was a young, violent tom, and i got into lots of fights with loners for no reason and started to train the dark forest to become more powerful and stronger but I was younger and I didn't know what i was doin' and my claws were breaking because how violent I was i just wanted to prove my worth to the dark forest" he finished "that's... dark." Silverpaw mumbled "it's need to go check somewhere.." he muttered. Silverpaw saw what looked like his brother, is.. is t-that firepaw my brother?? He quaverd who said he would learn everything in the living clans?.? No it can't be him! he denied but it was evident it was firepaw. Silverpaw rushed over to him; he had anew scar over his eye,thank starclan it didn't pierced through his eye. He was with mudpaw, her hazel eyes looked at silverpaw "thank starclan he's okay, I don't want him going blind." She sighed; looking regretful as ever, like she couldn't defend her mate; was firepaw her mate tho? He questioned in his mind, silverpaw never had a crush before. But still he worried about his own brother. "Firepaw are you ok?!" Silverpaw yelped at the flame-colored tom "yes I am why are you yelling at me?" He asked confused "and yes im okay its a scar" "not like it effect my ability to be a warrior" firepaw continued "and don't I don't know where i am all I remember is falling asleep and waking up here," he mumbled "well I guess until we wake up we'll chat" Silverpaw grumbled thinking of the dark forest as of an a annoyance instead of an repeating nightmare "Silverpaw do you approve of a Beachclan she-cat being my mate" firepaw whined "of course I do, just be warned that your kits will not treated well" Silverpaw clarified to his brother. "Where's Blossompaw?" Mudpaw asked "eeh probably dreaming about mice and not in this hell" Silverpaw hinted praying that his sister was not here.
