Chapter Text
Taco gripped onto the tree branch that she was on. Fuck. She was so tired. And thirsty. How long had it been since she had water?
She didn’t know. Taco scanned her surroundings, hoping to find anything that could help her.
It seems fate was on her side today. Taco jumped down, landing perfectly before swaying slightly. She shouldn’t be this dizzy.
After a moment, she bent down to grab the container of liquid before trying to get the lid off.
“Stupid… child proof… lids…” Taco grunted, trying to pull it off in an admittedly animalistic way.
Taco grinned as the lid finally popped off. She quickly chugged the mystery liquid, not caring what it was.
Taco tucked the container into her shell. She might need it later to store berries or something.
Taco was about one third to her camp when she started feeling… wrong.
She was dizzier than before and really… really… tiirdd..
….
…
Taco awoke with a gasp, quickly turning on her side to barf.
“Up again?” An unfamiliar voice called.
“Who are you?!? Where am I?!?” Taco yelled, jolting up before being pushed back down gently.
“I would suggest against doing that. Last time you almost fainted…”
“…Last time?” Taco pondered.
“…You don’t remember..?” The voice asked. “That makes sense, actually. you had quite the big fever… wouldn’t be surprised if you were hallucinating, too.”
Taco’s eyes widened. “What the fuck did I drink?!?!?”
“Something I left outside for you… it was a little test… well, part of the test at least… once you feel better, we will go on to the next part…”
