Summary
“Please don’t be mad,” Abigail calls from the other room, and Hannibal lets out a sigh. The last time she was worried he might be mad was when she was failing History class in Freshman year.
Hannibal sets down his book and stands with that certain kind of elegance he always carries with him. Abigail takes a deep breath from the other side of the wall, and Hannibal waits patiently.
After a moment Abigail collects her courage and steps around the corner. In her arms is a very dirty, and very squirmy black lab puppy. “I found her out on the road on my way home from school. I couldn’t just leave her.”
“Abigail,” Hannibal clicks his tongue, “You know how I feel about dogs in my house.”

Abigail finds a stray dog, and she begs her guardian, Hannibal, to let her keep it so she can take her to college.
Hannibal has one condition… the dog must be trained.
Once Hannibal meets their handsome trainer, Will Graham, he can’t help but want to become his companion.
