Opening Up
“Okay, she’s coming,” Anakin whispered to the dog. She barked in acknowledgement.
Anakin vanished just as Ahsoka entered. He smiled as Usha walked over to his Padawan, wagging her tail. “Oh. This is Usha,” the keeper, Lykphora, said. Ahsoka looked down at the small yellow dog, and Anakin knew she felt the connection instantly.
“This one,” Ahsoka declared.
Lykphora looked at her in surprise. “Are you sure?” she asked.
“Yes,” Ahsoka replied.
Ahsoka and Usha were soon on their way to their new home.
