Chapter Text

Rain pattered down peacefully on the castle walls during the quiet and tense morning.  The SMG4 crew, Karen, and Mr. Wpnz stood awkwardly as Katie, Zack, and Cory played a game of Charades with Toomp happily, ignoring the tension floating around the area.

“So… Katana- I mean, Karen…  Uh, how are you doing today?”  Mr. Wpnz asked with a fake nonchalant attitude.  Karen just glared at him, the events from Silence of the Cats still running through her mind angrily.  Standing next to her with his arms crossed was the one and only SMG4, who only agreed to talk with Wpnz for the sake of finding Mr. Puzzles and returning him to prison.

“Shut up, Wpnz.  I’m only here because I had to deliver something to SMG4, if I’d known that you were here to negotiate with him I’d have gone through the back door to avoid facing you again.”  She hissed.

“Mario wants some spaghetti!”  The red plumber, Mario himself, chanted in a po or attempt to break the unsettling tension.  Unfortunately, this awful attempt at humor got him punched in the arm by Meggy.

“Now, shouldn’t we get back to the topic at hand?  I’ve got more important things to do right now so I wanna hurry this up.”  SMG3 chimed in with annoyance.

“Yeah, yeah, back on topic.  How are we going to find Mr. Puzzles?  There’s billions of televisions out there, he could be disguised as any t.v. around here!”  SMG4 exclaimed.

“Uhm…  Good question.  How can we find him?  It’s like an impossible game of hide and seek!”  Tari said.

“I don’t know.  Maybe we just…  Wait for something to happen?  It’s possible.”  Mr. Wpnz shrugged.  “You should just let me go after him and finish the job.  No Death Fridge needed.”

“Yeah but not only are we trying to keep things a bit more on the legal side, but Mr. Monitor also seemed very proud of his new invention, so why not just let him have this one?”  SMG4 commented.

“Uhg I get really annoyed with that Mr. Monitor guy…” Mr. Wpnz grumbled and pouted.

“Does he now?  Or are you just mad that you can’t kill Mr. Puzzles yourself?  Have you ever even met Mr. Monitor?”  Meggy asked.

“Watch it ginger girl!  But to answer the first two questions, yes.  As for ever meeting him, I barely glanced at him while I was dancing with Mr. Puzzles during the prison escape.”  Wpnz chuckled.

“Wait, you and Mr. Puzzles DANCED TOGETHER!?”  Bob exclaimed with random shock, as the entire crew eyed Mr. Wpnz suspiciously, making it clear that they assumed that the closest was clear glass in their eyes.

“Damn, so was the fight SMG4 told me about really just your second breakup?”  Karen teased, causing Wpnz to roll his eyes.  Then, a sudden stomp that shook the whole castle came from outside, causing Toomp to stare towards the door and freeze.  Following the stomp was several more stomps that seemed to get closer and closer, followed by the familiar screams of terror that echoed outside.

“Oh good lord what’s happening out there?”  SMG3 questioned as the group opened the door and watched the commotion that was coming from right outside the door.  They watched in pure terror as they saw Mr. Monitor and Mr. Puzzles running as fast as they could from the Death Cube, whose eye was now red instead of its usual blue color it used to have.

“HELP ME!  Mr. Monitor screamed, “ITS GONE INSANE!  ITS BEING CONTROLLED BY SOMETHING EVIL- AHHHH!”  And before they knew it, the rectangle used one of its many red tentacles to grab Mr. Monitor and dragged him into its mouth.  Soon enough, he was gone.  Eaten.  As for Mr. Puzzles, he just kept running towards the castle doors, even if he knew deep down that they’d just shut the doors and leave the poor t.v. headed-man behind to die.  But instead, as soon as he reached the entrance, Mr. Wpnz and Meggy pulled him in the castle and shut the door all in half a second.

“You… Saved me?  Why?”  Puzzles asked with shock in his voice.

“Trust me, we all want you dead, and we would have usually left you out there to die, but that Death Fridge has gone haywire it seems, so I guess we’re fighting this and executing you afterwards.”  Mr. Wpnz said coldly.

Before Mr. Puzzles could respond, the door of the castle was flung off its hinges with a loud bang, squishing Luigi into the wall.

“Great!  My door!”  SMG4 sighed as the Death Cube barged in.

“Civilians detected.  Murder mode: activated.”  It said in its monotone, robotic voice and its tentacles reached out to grab the closest people to it; Katie, Cory, Zack, and Toomp.

“Oh fuck no!  Leave my kids alone fucker!”  Karen and Mr. Wpnz shouted, both getting in between the Death Cube and the kids, guns raised despite its uselessness against the rectangular machine.

“Quick!  Mr. Puzzles!  Trap the Death Cube in your head!  Then we destroy your head and trap the Death Cube in it forever!”  SMG4 exclaimed.

“That’s not how it works…  Remember, my head, my rules.  If I’m dead or unconscious then my head would just kick it out.”  Mr. Puzzles responded.

“Man, what a useless power then.  Can trap people in your head but can’t even keep them there?”  SMG4 said.  Then, the whole group decided to just work together and attack the metal rectangle instead.  The random attacks coming from all directions confused the Death Cube profusely, and eventually it decided to use its hand to strike the closest object to it.

Mr. Puzzles, unfortunately, was too zoned out during the fight, thinking about all the damage he’d caused and a new plan to take down the Death Cube, that he didn’t see the giant metal hand coming right towards him.  Mr. Wpnz caught a glimpse of the scene, but before he could warn Puzzles, the Death Cube’s hand smacked Mr. Puzzles hard and sent him flying a few feet back.  Everyone froze where they were as Mr. Puzzles’ screen glitched and started sucking everyone nearby into his screen like a strong vacuum cleaner.

“Mr. Puzzles!  What are you doing-!?”  SMG3 shrieked as he got pulled in, followed by the Death Cube and the others.  Next thing they knew, they were in Mr. Puzzles head, the world of t.v.’s that hovered around mindlessly.  Out of confusion and randomness, the Death Cube punches a random t.v. and proceeds to get crushed by a larger t.v. from above.

Karen, glad that her children are safe, runs over to them and hugs all three of them tightly, while Mr. Wpnz hugs Toomp tightly as if it were his own child.

“Okay, that’s been dealt with, so where’s Mr. Puzzles?  We need to get back now.”  Bob said impatiently.

Meggy points out farther into the t.v. domain, “If unconscious floating in the air answers your question, then that’s where he is currently.”

“Oh god dammit how are we supposed to find which t.v. is home now?”  Bob remarked.

“Just start hopping through random t.v. boxes?”  Tari suggested.

“Meh, sounds fine by me.  Mr. Wpnz, pick up Mr. Puzzles and let’s head through these t.v. portals now!”  SMG4 directed.

Chapter Text

Mr. Wpnz picks up Mr. Puzzles, who is now dazzed from the Death Cube's attack, and follows the others through a random tv that seemed close to where they came from. They entered to the sounds of cheerful music playing in the background, and bright colors everywhere.

"Well, this isn't home. That's for sure." SMG4 said, looking at the pictures of the different animatronics aligning the walls. The place looks as if it was recently closed, (despite the background music) and obviously empty.

"It's not the PizzaPlex from the Security Breach game, but it's got those Sun and Moon characters painted on the walls." Meggy pointed out.

Suddenly, the sound of something breaking down a door echoes through the building, followed by two sets of footsteps rushing down the hallway. The group stood ready to fight only to see Moon and another animatronic that looked similar to the Sun animatronic except orange.

"What is going on!? Who are you!?" Moon asks.

"Uh…. We're the SMG4 crew along with three extra people. We kinda got lost after a small fight with a giant fridge looking thing." SMG4 responds.

"Hhm…. Considering that you've got four kids with you, I guess you probably aren't much of a threat. I'm Solar by the way, and this is Moon. Now, can you tell us more about this "killer fridge" thing? We don't need another problem on our plate." Solar says. "Should we call Sun? Maybe Dazzle and Jack could hang out with the four kids there while we talk, and we're not keeping this a secret from Sun."

"Fine, we'll tell Sun about this. But we're talking at the other building because we might get into trouble for being here, and we have no idea what Fazbear is planning on doing with this place either." Says Moon.

So the group follows Solar and Moon over to the new pizzeria location where Sun was waiting with Dazzle, Jack, Terra, Monty, and Molten. Inside, the sounds of the animatronics were causing mass chaos. Nova Frost hit Gomer with a table while Rosiebell tries to stop the commotion from continuing.

"Your turn to deal with them Moon." Sun says, patting his brother on the shoulder before walking over to the SMG4 cast and introducing himself to them.

"Hi, I'm Sun." Sun says tiredly, his arm extended towards SMG4 waiting for a handshake. They shake hands as the group introduces themselves to the cast of animatronics.

"I'm SMG4, the one in the purple shirt and black overalls is SMG3, and the one in the red shirt and blue overalls is Mario. Beware, he might raid your kitchen for spaghetti."

"Oh, I'm Tari! I love ducks! And she's Meggy." Tari smiles, pointing at Meggy. "And the guy over there is Bob."

"I'm Karen, and these are my three kids, Zack, Cory, and Katie."

"I'm Mr. Wpnz, and I assume that you might not want me inside your pizza place because I'm literally made out of weapons. That little red blob there, his name is Toomp." Toomp waves a quick hello at the animatronics before going back to playing with Karen's kids.

"And I'm Mr. Puzzles, I-" And Mr. Puzzles gets cut off suddenly as Mr. Monitor manages to climb out of his screen.

"I'm alive! And confused. I saw you guys on a tv an just hopped through only to realize that this isn't home. We gotta get back soon! I've got justice to serve!"

"Alrighty then. Anyways, let's talk in the back room so we can get some information and figure out how to send you home as soon as possible." Moon says as him, Sun, Solar, and Molten lead the SMG4 group to the back while Monty and Terra keep an eye on Jack, Dazzle, Toomp, Katie, Cory, and Zack.
