Sunny was mentally pacing, she couldn't say whether her head was in the clouds or the depths of hell.
She just wanted them kissing, nothing much, yet here they were only hanging around like friends on her couch. "You good Sunshine?" Ryan asked, raising a brow with slight concern, both him and David were staring at her, waiting for a response.
"Yeah obviously, just looking at you two, couple goals." She responded, smirking slightly just to make sure she had room to maneuver. David's cheeks went pink, Ryan smiled a toothy grin of amusement. "Do we now~" Ryan laughed, he also was one to make the gay jokes, David was a prime target for them considering how easily he got embarrassed.
David stayed silent, willing away the blush on his cheeks despite Ryan's prodding. "I need the bathroom!" David suddenly announced, rising to his feet and jogging away. Ryan's eyes followed him as he left, filled with something Sunny knew well. She suddenly spoke, "You like him, don't you?"
The question was sudden, Sunny didn't know why she said it, just blurted out before second guessing. She stared at Ryan, really stared, trying to dissect him with her gaze, the flinch told her everything. Ryan's jaw set, his gaze hardening before meeting Sunny's. "That obvious?"
Sunny nodded, quickly glancing back at the hallway to the bathroom before back to Ryan. She didn't know what to do from here, whether to speak out her thoughts or do what a normal, good girlfriend should do. "It is obvious. Though I don't know how he hasn't caught it yet." Sunny said with a sigh. "Eh, he's a bit dim romantically...and socially but you get the point." Ryan responded with a big smile, he always smiled when talking about him, they should've fucked already.
Sunny cleared her head of such thoughts and continued with the conversation. "Well...is he... y'know..." Sunny gestured vaguely, Ryan raising a brow with slight disappointment at her behaviour. "Gay? You mean gay? Nah, never seen him with a guy. But he definitely looks like he has." Ryan joked with a laugh. "Wanna be his first?" Sunny blurted, her voice quick, hands gripping the fabric of her pants.
A brief silence descended, Ryan's eyes narrowing as he let out the word, "What?" It wasn't from him not having heard, it was the type of what that came after the type of idea that would cancel a content creator's career. Before Sunny could even consider correcting her mistake, David appeared around the corner, sitting roughly between the two.
"Hey. You guys seem a bit...tense." His gaze shifted from either of the two. "Nah don't worry pookie." Ryan dragged out with a mischievous grin, placing a hand on David's thigh, earning a blush from David. Sunny calmed a bit.
Looks like Ryan got the message. Probably.
