   Empyeria- that land of gold which spires from the Sea of the Rift. Upon Her shores and in her crystal mountain did we find our greatest providence… the crown of nature that our forebears bear in golden ichor. In gold we saw the aspects of our star reflected: fire, thunder, life, death, sea, and sky… in Her nectar did our people become one with Her will. They wore primordial forms of scale and fang, fearsome as the beasts that walk the land.

   But we did not bestow upon them our fear, instead- we gave them our crowns.
