Chapter Text
A FEW DAYS PRIOR:
“All Might, I need you to be reasonable-“
BANG
CRACK
Nedzu’s desk shattered under the weight of All Might’s rage. The rat had dragged him into the office to talk, most likely to not make any more of a scene in front of everybody.
“You have no right to ask me to be reasonable, not when you let that incompetent disgrace of a teacher and that sociopath Bakugo run around like they own the place, hurting others for their own sick amusement!”
“I have my reasons for trusting Aizawa-“
“What!? Because you’re a sadist who enjoys watching your students suffer!?”
“All Might-“
“No! It’s over Nedzu. You let Aizawa strut around and undermine the other teachers like he owns the place, you let Shinso bully and harass his classmates with his Quirk, you let Mineta sexually harass the female students and make them feel uncomfortable, and you allow that sociopath Bakugo to mutilate other students without restraint!”
“Are you referring to the training accident with Uraraka at the beginning of the year-“
“IT WAS NOT A FUCKING ACCIDENT!!” The reinforced windows rattled and cracked from the sheer force of All Might’s roar, the man not caring as he coughed up blood. “FOR ONCE IN YOUR FUCKING LIFE, WHY DON’T YOU SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO WAS ACTUALLY PRESENT DURING THAT DISASTER!! BAKUGO KNEW EXACTLY WHAT HE WAS DOING!! HE FULLY INTENDED TO HARM AND POSSIBLY EVEN KILL URARAKA, JUST BECAUSE SHE CALLED HIM OUT FOR THE VILLAIN HE IS!! I EXPLICITLY TOLD HIM TO STAND DOWN AND NOT USE HIS GAUNTLETS BECAUSE IT COULD KILL HER, AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT HE SAID!? ‘GOOD’. THE BOY STOOD THERE, SMILED LIKE A FUCKING PSYCHOPATH, AND SAID ‘GOOD’! THAT BOY IS NO HERO!! HE DOES NOT BELONG IN THE HERO COURSE!! HE BELONGS IN A CELL IN THE DEEPEST PARTS OF TARTARUS, AND I’M FUCKING SICK OF YOU AND AIZAWA DEFENDING HIM!!”
There was silence, a ringing in the air as All Might caught his breath, before he slapped papers down on what remained of Nedzu’s desk.
“I’ll be taking young Yanagi with me as well. Expect to hear from my lawyers. I hope you and Aizawa burn in hell.”
With that, he left. Over the course of the day, Midnight and several other teachers would turn in their own resignations, All Might’s show of leaving finally getting them to stand up to Nedzu and Aizawa’s tyranny.
As All Might cleaned out his desk, he began making plans. He passed out handwritten letters of recommendation to most of the students from the Hero Course, to any school in the country they wanted, leaving out people like Bakugo, Shinso, Mineta, and Kirishima, with the promise that his agency would cover any cost should they take up the offer.
Next, he made to contact Young Uraraka’s parents.
These kids deserved better, and U.A. had failed them at every turn. He would make up for it, and ensure they all got justice.
PRESENT DAY:
“And that’s the gist of it.” All Might’s show sighed. It had been a few days since he had left U.A., and the media was in a frenzy, wanting to know what the hell had happened to make All Might, several teachers, and most of the first year Hero Course leave U.A..
U.A. had remained silent, most likely trying to come up with an explanation.
All Might had scheduled a press meeting to explain in detail what was going on.
“You’re still angry.” Gran Torino mused, noting All Might’s trembling fists.
“Can you really blame me? I’m furious and heartbroken to see just how far my Alma Mater has fallen.”
“And that anger is justified, but it’s also clouding your judgement. If you say the wrong thing, innocents might get caught in the crossfire. You should clear your head before the Press Conference. Didn’t you say something about the I-Expo?”
“Yes, you remember Melissa? She sent me some tickets, I was thinking of taking Young Reiko.”
“Go. A small vacation should help you clear your head, let your legal and PR teams put together the Press Conference for you.”
“I see, thank you sir.” Gran Torino could definitely be a good teacher when he wasn’t kicking in your face.
Of course, All Might’s wouldn’t say that out loud, because the end result would be Gran Torino kicking in his face.
Bakugo was pissed.
What the fuck else was new.
These past few days had been shit.
First there was All Might throwing a fit over some extra Bakugo didn’t even know. Una- Something?
Whatever, at least the fucking Hobo recognized his greatness and passed Bakugo for the Final Exam, while that Ear Bitch was failed for being the dead weight she was.
But then All Might fucking quit U.A., then most of the Hero Course and teachers followed suit.
What the actual fuck!?
And now a lot of the extras from other courses were blaming HIM for all their suffering.
He made sure to put those weak ass extras in their place, just as he used to do with Deku-
Bakugo paused, as if something had just occurred to him.
That’s it! It all made sense now, why things have been going badly for him!
His unjustified loss to that purple haired parasite in Sports Festival. All Might quitting. The extras all blaming Bakugo.
It was fucking Deku’s doing!
That spineless little shit was trying to get some sort of revenge for his deserved expulsion, most likely having forgot his place because Bakugo had been merciful enough to leave him alone.
Snarling, and hands popping, Bakugo decided to go over to that Quirkless abominations place and put him back in his place once and for-
“Hey! Bakugo!”
Bakugo was snapped out of his delusional thoughts by his unofficial dick sucker.
“What the fuck do you want shitty hair!?” Bakugo snapped.
“So listen man, I know the past few days have been pretty rough, but I got something that might cheer you up!” And with a stupid smile, he unveiled a pair of paper slips. “Check it out! My parents got me tickets to the I-Expo! They’re not VIP or anything, but it’ll be fun! What do you say?”
BACK IN THE U.K.:
“Hey uh… Can you all actually stay for a minute.” Izuku asked nervously. His classmates blinked in surprise, in the middle of packing their things to go home for the day as Izuku rummaged through his bag. “My mentor, she gave me a reward for passing the exam, and I want to share it all with you guys.”
He pulled out a bunch of paper slips.
“VIP tickets to the I-Expo! Enough for all of us!”
Immediately the class broke out into excitement as Izuku passed out the tickets.
Violet blinked as Izuku held one out to her.
He had spoken with Ms. Fauna. Explained the situation. She had told him the best thing he could do is just try to be there for Violet, give her a friend, that trying to force anything would only make things worse in the long run.
…
…
Violet took the ticket, deciding to humor him.
“Holy shite Midoriya, this must have cost a fortune!” Carlson Weathers exclaimed. “Who exactly is your mentor that they can afford this!?”
“Uh… Well…”
“YEEEESS!! I’VE DONE IT!!”
The class blinked.
“Is that Vedal?” Nia asked.
The loud cheering got closer to the classroom.
“Ok, this one right here. No, that one! No, the door-“
BOOM.
The classroom wall came down as a brown haired girl in a yellow school uniform walked through it, Vedal riding on top of her head.
“…Okay, that works too.” Vedal cleared his throat. “Everyone, this is Neuro-Sama. She’s the world’s first real life fully functioning Android.”
The class crowded around Neuro in awe as she stood there.
“Took me over a month of little sleep and rushing her coding a bit, but she’s done just in time for the I-Expo! Neuro, say hi to everyone.”
“…”
The class stared in anticipation.
“…Someone tell Vedal that there is a problem with my A.I..”
