Chapter Text
Every player has a communicator that can help you communicate via chat, access the hub, show a digital version of the crafting recipes/ book, show player health, and play videos/ audio. When it comes to chatting via your communicator, if you’re on a server or a single player world, it’ll automatically link up to that world/ server’s chat. You can access DMs and group chats while in a world, but you’ll have to swap to your private messages, which is where you’ll find your DMs and texts to & from players who’re either off-world or not talking via world chat.
Players can’t permanently die in the hub unless they die of old age, a virus in their code, or in a hub world's void (aka being stuck between a hub you’re banned from and a server you’re banned from). Death by old age is a fairly normal occurrence; an example would be TinFoilChef, aka TFC, an old Hermitcraft member who passed away sometime during early Season 9 (RIP). Players dying because a virus in their code isn’t too common, but it can happen. When you’re kicked or banned from a server, you end up in the hub world the server is connected to. Hub worlds don’t ban players often, and when they do, the maximum amount of time a player can be banned for is 6 months. Usually, when that happens, the player is sent to a single-player world to live out their sentence.
