Chapter 1: Epilouge

Chapter Text

Prologue:

Darkness… Darkness throughout is so dark that it makes NightWings look like IceWings. Like it was sucking any color and light it can reach. Like it was designed… Until there was some color. In the distance was a small blob of red… Then it grew bigger- no, closer and the blob became dragonic in shape. A SkyWing. A maroon color throughout except for orange flame like scales on his face, orange spikes on his back, and his wings being orange. A rather ordinary SkyWing… One that didn’t grow up like an ordinary SkyWing…yes. Ordinary, yet not ordinary at the same time. He is important. The one that brings everyone together. The one that breaks everyone's walls. The sticky glue connecting everyone. A lot of timelines split because of him. Simple things that change everything. Main character?... No…No he is not. Important character? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

The picture shifts. Color filling the void. Light shining like a star. Before settling down on a grassy field. A forest to the left. There were four dragons. All large and covered in scuffed scales. But not scuffed from fighting. Scuffed from age. A pink and yellow RainWing was sitting while a larger NightWing behind her was making a large flower crown on her head. The same SkyWing from before laying on top of her, his head on her left shoulder. His face noticeably burned and missing both ears. An even larger NightWing behind him with his head on both their shoulders on the right. It was peaceful. It was somber. As they remembered the ones not there…

Another shift in color and light. It grew darker. The sun rising in the distance. There was a white cloth that seemed to cover something. Red staining through it. It was on a large pile of wood. It didn’t look like his full size. Too small. But there was a foreleg sticking out from under it. A grey band with purple and orange jewels attached to it. A group of guards following multiple SkyWings arrived. One had a crown. Their mouths moved but no sound came out. The void was still eating away. Taking sounds as it appetite wanted more. Flames from multiple dragons blew onto the wood. The fire eats away at it before rising and consuming the body. The fire is growing and growing and growing and growing…

It was now the sun before it shifted down in view. Desert. Sand. Cactus. And a large city. A wall surrounding it. Three dragons. SandWing. MudWing. And SkyWing. The SandWing was looking at it with a blank face. The MudWing moved under his wing and seemed to lean against the SandWing. The SkyWing wraps a wing around his body. The SandWing laughed before smiling. His earring twisting in the movement…

A wooden earring spinned wildly as the SkyWing frantically danced with way more grace he should have. A RainWing doing the same with a lot less grace but more energy. Using the larger dragon to help her balance to do some weird moves. A SandWing beating at a drum with moves that look way too practiced and calculated. A NightWing laughing and hiding her face into an IceWing's wing. He seems to falter and freeze. Dragons everywhere cheering on and on. If only we can hear it all…

Flapping wings of multiple dragons. Snow under everything. A MudWing, a NightWing, and a RainWing was surrounding a SandWing as close as they could get without hindering flying. A SkyWing flying in front of them. He then looked back and said something. Smiling at them while he shivered. The NightWing’s eyes grew white for a second before she frantically looked at him and yelled something. The SkyWing only got to look forward before a spear flew straight into his neck. Poking out the other side as blood spew back and into the faltering dragons. More spears appeared and hit the SandWing in his shoulder as he dodged. One went straight through the RainWings eye and she fell immediately. The MudWing had one go into his chest and one into his stomach, and he also fell immediately. The NightWing managed to dodge hers. The SkyWing, who was flying, but barely, moved in front of the two still flying dragons and had one go into his chest, one into his tail and another into his neck before finally falling. The SandWing leaning on the NightWing was flying away as no more spears went out. The blood turning the snow red underneath…

The Skywing was on his back. A SeaWing on his stomach. Both have scrolls. Though the SeaWIng seem more interested in him then the SkyWing. Their tails intertwined… That's when a MudWing, a RainWing, a NightWing, and a SandWing suddenly ran in and jumped on them. Turning them into a big ball of dragon scales and wings. An IceWing walking in with a sigh before very dramatically falling on top of them all…

There was sound. Wind. No longer in the Void. Real? Real. Yes? Yes…

Chapter 3: Jade Moutain, Here I Come!

Chapter Text

Part 1: Jade Mountain, Here I Come!

The wind blew under my large wings. The sound of it flying past filled my ears. A group of migrating birds crossed under me. I was alone. But that was normal. And I was fine. I was one of the only SkyWings willing to transport supplies to the small towns near the south coast of SkyWing territory. Probably because I lived there for the first four years of my life. My father and I moved to the palace during the war. They had managed to sneak under Scarlet's radar since they were so far away. But ever since Queen Ruby had come into power, they had come out of ‘hiding’. And I joined a courier job at five so I can come back there. And I worked there for a bit.

I even made a delivery from the rainforest to the Queen herself! She did give me a look though. I didn't know why at the time though. I had thought maybe because I was young. But that ain't of importance. What was, was that I got a letter from her. Ironic because of my job. But she wanted me to go to a school. I was like, I already went through school! But then I kept reading and found it was at Jade Mountain. I would be a whole lot closer to my hometown! So I agreed. As much as I like my job - especially flying over that Scavenger Den (they finally stopped shooting things at me) - doing something else would be cool.

“Are you gonna talk?” I faltered for a split second before regaining control. After that scare, I looked to my right and saw scarlet red scales. She was large, almost my size. She was about half a wing's length of gap from me.  She was also littered with scars. Oh, she fought in the war. My ears would have pulled back if they weren't already. I never did fight. Being in my town for four years and helping father with blacksmithing at the palace for the next year. Then joining the courier business for a year. I didn’t have the trauma of others. I realized I haven't said anything as her orange eyes glanced at me.

“Um… No?...You want me to?” I spoke out, tilting my head in my confusion. She glanced again before looking forward.

“No.”... o…k?... Weirdo. I looked back forward as we flew. I could see the smoke from the scavenger den on our left in the distance as we passed it. Is she flying with me? Another minute later, I picked up speed. She then picked up speed. I went faster. She went faster. I rose in altitude. She rose in altitude. Ok, she is flying with me. I slowed back down so the wind wasn’t deafening.  Then I looked at her.

“...Race?” She glanced at me and for a second we stared at each other's eyes. My bright orange eyes and her darker orange eyes… And she grinned before disappearing as she flew forward faster. I blinked before getting my bearings.

“Cheater!!” I flew after her as I beat my wings to gain speed. I did manage to catch up pretty fast as we flew as fast as we could. I saw her do a barrel roll. So I did multiple of them. And through my dizzy gaze, I saw her roll her eyes. I think she said ‘show off’, but I couldn't tell as I was trying not to throw up.  But eventually I could see a large peak grow bigger, and we had to slow down. Once we reached it, I could see a few dragons there. A couple MudWings, some sandwings. Must be early… or late? Probably the first.

We landed on a platform in front of the large entrance. She went forward as I followed beside her. There was a nightwing handing Mudwing a couple scrolls. She was mostly black but had a dark blue-purple like color on her underside. She also had purple eyes. But when she saw us, her ears perked up with her head and she practically sprinted to us.

“Hey! I’m Fatespeaker!” Oh, she is loud. A contained growl came from the Skywing beside me.

“You two must be… Flamethrower and Carenalien? How did I know that? I don't know, maybe I can… read your minds.” She leaned in, which wasn't much since we were both bigger, while she said this. Can she do that?... Wait no, I remember hearing about NightWings lying about it. A scoff left the SkyWing beside me, which the NightWing didn't hear or ignored.

“Just kidding!” She suddenly said,

“Maybe…” She said right after. Looking off to (my) right, which I also looked at. But I couldn't see anything as I looked over Carnelian. Who is she talking to? I could see my fellow SkyWing look at me and scoff. Looking back at Fatespeaker while shaking her head. And I looked back also.

“Can you move so we can find our cave?” Carnelian growled out and I gave her a glance. A little less rude would be nice but ok. Fatespeaker flinched slightly but kept smiling.

“Oh right! Sorry, let me get your…” She trailed off as she dropped a bag before going through. I could see scrolls filling it.

“Ah! Here they are!” She pulled out two small scrolls before handing one to each of us,

“Those have your map and the names of the rest of your winglet.” She then pointed towards me.

“You're in Quartz Winglet.” She then pointed towards Carnelian.

“You’re in the Jade Winglet.” She then looked behind us.

“Have fun with your Clawmates!” She then ran off to a Seawing who had just arrived. I stood there as I recovered from being bombarded. Carnelian, though, walked forward, muttering something I didn't quite hear. That shook me out of it and I walked into the cave also. With one talon I unrolled the scroll and placed it on the ground. In big text at the very top was my name. The top portion under it was filled with a large map, paths bending to and fro. Words informing of important rooms. And there was a star in a specific room, having the words sleeping room beside it. A snort brought my gaze up. A bit off, but still close, was Carnelian, having chosen to hold her scroll up then laid down like mine. She’s still here? She glanced at me.

“Look at the Gold Winglet.” She said before rolling up her scroll. Which prompted me to look back down to the bottom portion, which held five sections of names. The first being the Jade Winglet.

Jade Winglet

IceWing: Ermine

MudWing: Umber

NightWing: Moonwatcher

RainWing: Kinkajou

SandWing: Arid

SeaWing: Turtle

SkyWing: Carnelian

Oh, so that's where Carnelian is. My gaze then turned to the group to the right of Jade: Gold. Why did she want to look at this one? Is this the one I'm in? Fatespeaker said I'm in Quartz.

Gold Winglet

IceWing: Icicle

MudWing: Sora

NightWing: Bigtail

RainWing: Tamarin

SandWing: Onyx

SeaWing: Pike

SkyWing: Flame

As I read that last line, I couldn't hold my laugh. My head falling forward into the ground as I tried to stop my laugh. Now THAT is hilarious. I shook my head as I stopped and looked towards Carn. She was looking at me with a look I couldn't tell what was. I smiled at her. And she looked behind me. Wait… nevermind, thought she blushed. It's just her scales… Get it? Because she’s red?... Who am I talking to?

“Welll, if you ever see Flame. Tell me. I have a destiny to fulfil.” I joked towards her, which she huffed before shaking her head. But a small smile formed before disappearing,

“I’ll make sure to do that.” She then turned around before heading off. Not many words. Huh? I shook my head before looking at the others, I still need to look for me. So I looked at the group under Jade Winglet.

Silver Winglet

IceWing: Changbai

MudWing: Sepia

NightWing Fearless

RainWing: Bota

SandWing: Ostrich

SeaWing: Anemone

SkyWing: Thresh

Nothing really interesting, I think Anemone was a Princess? I think. I never knew much about royalty. I looked at the group beside the Silver Winglet.

Copper Winglet

IceWing: Alba

MudWing: Marsh

NightWing: Mindreader

RainWing: Coconut

SandWing: Pronghorn

SeaWing: Snail

SkyWing: Peregrine

Wow… None of these names are important enough for me to know. At least Silver had a princess… Also, am I really the last one that I look at? I scoffed before looking farther down. The last group under the four in the middle of the scroll.

Quartz Winglet:

IceWing: Winter

MudWing: Newt

NightWing: Mightyclaws

RainWing: Siamang

SandWing: Qibli

SeaWing: Barracuda

SkyWing: Flamethrower

Quartz? That's pretty cool. Better than copper, I guess. I also didn’t recognize anyone on it either. Hopefully they're not the super judgmental types. I finally rolled the scroll up before tucking it up under my wing before looking forward. There seemed to be more dragons arriving, I could see a group of Seawings flying closer. And a group of IceWings landing. I better get going before it gets crowded.

I looked forward before walking, following the map I had looked at. I noticed there were colorful globes hanging from the ceiling of the halls. Casting light down, keeping it bright. Right, Left, Right, skip a couple rooms… Ah, here. Looking in, it was decently big. There was a ledge on the right side with furs on it. The other side also did, but had animal skins instead. Huh? Why are there two beds? Then the last words of that Fatespeaker NightWing hit me. ‘Clawmates’? Do I have to share a room with another dragonet? Great… Hopefully I don't embarrass myself. My mind always wanders sometimes… I shook my head before walking to the fur bed before laying down, seeing how it felt… Eh, I can work with this. Not as comfy as my bed in the palace and especially not as comfy as my bed at home. But I have slept worse. I decided to look around more.

On the wall opposite of the entrance was a small hole to the outside world. The light from the sun shining in. Beside the entrance, there looked to be a scroll rack. A few are already in it. Oh! I can put mine in it. Standing back up, I head for it before slotting my scroll in it. That's when I heard Talons enter and I whipped my head up. Shit! First impressions! Ok! Who is it? NightWing? SandWing? Ice… I blinked at the MudWing… The weirdly green MudWing… He saw me looking at him and bore a shocked expression. His face grew dark.

“O-oh, Sorry. Wrong cave.” He then left. Wow, I had never seen a Mudwing in THAT color before. I didn’t want to be rude but it was almost shit green… No, it was closer to algae on a rock in a river. Yeah. Definitely. Not long after, the MudWud was back. Nervously looking around the room and me. He must not realize that we were sleeping in the same cave like I was.

“Were clawmates. The skin bed is yours.” I spoke firmly, nodding my head to said bed. A look of confusion spread through his face before turning into realization. I rolled my eyes. And gave him a smile.

“You can probably guess since there's only one SkyWing in our Winglet, but I’m Flamethrower. I'm guessing your Newt?” Ok, that was good. Friendly and outgoing, but still controlling of the conversation.  Newt nodded his head. We then both talked for a few minutes. He had come with his sister, Sepia, who’s in the Silver Winglet. My dad wanted to fly with me but he had work and I told him I was fine. I have flown this route hundreds of times, plus I turned six two weeks ago. I was fine. We talked about where we lived and what we did during the war. He seemed interested that I never actually fought in it. Only produced the armour and spears before delivering orders. I still had to do basic training since I might have to go to battlefields to give orders. He had been the medic for his sibs, and they were a regular fighting group. They did manage to have all of them survive, unlike most. He had become sad, frowning while looking off to the side. Oh, how do I salvage this?...Oh!

“Hey, do you want to go get something to eat? I saw there was a Prey Center on the map.” He perked up at this. Yeah, I knew it. MudWings do love food. And he agreed, so we made our way through the halls. It was a bit far away - we even stopped by a library to pick up stamps and a carrier for our scrolls - but we eventually reached it. And by the sounds alone, we weren’t the first ones here. There were multiple dragons here, a lot more than I had seen at the entrance. There were dragons of all colors here. Prey running about while dragons chased them. A small river flowing through the middle. In the middle middle was MudWing on a raised stone yelling at everyone. An opening in the wall to the outside was raised, making it where prey can't escape. There was also a large pile of fruits that the rainwings seemed to be eating.

“Sepia! Bye Flamethrower.” Newt yelled before running inside, heading for a dark brown and orangey color MudWing currently trying to corner a bear. I yelled a bye before walking in also. I dodged between running SandWings, Skywings, NightWings, and even an IceWing before reaching my destination. The fruit pile. There were mainly RainWings but there was also a NightWing. She seemed to be slowly eating a mango but her face was scrunched up, as if she was in mild pain. Is she having a headache? She seemed to be black but had dark green scales throughout also. There was also a small pink and yellow RainWing beside her talking, but then she saw me…

“Hey! Don't bring your stinking prey over here!” I took a step back in surprise. This Rainwing who’s less than half my size was glaring at me. Bits of orange and red bleeding into her scales.  Wow, I did not expect this. I just wanted my favorite fruit. Shouldn’t they be happy that other tribes are also eating them? I saw the NightWing look nervous before looking at pink anger.

“U-uhm, Kinkajou… I-i think he just w-wants fruit…” She stuttered out, barely audible over the ruckus of everyone else. And I internally thanked her. They must be friends since they're eating together. The RainWing looked at her before looking back at me with a - softer, but still there - glare.

“Uhm, yeah. I’m just grabbing a...” I spoke before looking at the pile. Where are they?... There! I reach up about three fourths of the way up the pile for a circular fruit the color orange… An Orange! But when I pulled it out, a few other fruits fell down. I yelped as multiple fruits rolled down around my talons. I switched from talon to talon to keep from crushing them, but I found my left hind leg stepping on one and crushing it. Grumbling, I raised it and saw the leftover of a crushed apple. Giggling brought my gaze back to the two. The NightWing was looking off to the side while holding her mouth in her talon as she struggled to not to. The RanWing? Was not even trying to hold back her laughter. I frowned and grumbled again. Great… At least I don't get a way to vibrant RainWing mad at me for no reason. While they came back, I shook my talon to try and get rid of the apple. I look back up as they stopped. The RainWing returned to her colors, though a bit more pink.

“I like oranges.” I suddenly said, making the RainWing giggle. She shook her head before focusing up on me.

“Yeah, me too. I just didn’t expect a Sky-” Her voice was cut by a yelp, making us turn to the NightWing. She had her head high, her eyes wide. Her mango squished in her talons. What’s wrong with her??? She looked off behind me, making me also. There was nothing… until there was a commotion. Dragons yelling about something. How did she know something was happening? I then saw it. A scavenger. It barely missed a SandWing’s talon as it ran through the Prey Center. Oh! How did one get here? The big den of theirs is farther north. Did one of the dragons that go get all the prey find one? I frowned. I didn’t really want someone eating them. There's not that many dens left. Well, at least in SkyWing territory. Before I could act, I saw the NightWing book it pass me, heading towards it. Oh! Is she wanting to eat it? No! I put the orange in my carrier before running after her, bumping two dragons who were watching the other dragons. They yelled at me but I didn't listen to them. I saw in the distance the NightWing manage to grab the scavenger. I quickly looked around and saw a goat standing nearby, completely still as if it gave in to its fate. I turned for it, grabbing it as it let out a single bleat before heading back to her. I reached her as a SkyWing and a SandWing neared her. But I jumped in front of them, making them yell out. The NightWing seemed to be frantically looking around before her eyes zeroed on me. She brought the scavenger closer to her chest. Another small bleat from the goat.

“Oh, Hey, uhm, I was wondering if we can trade. I’m sure you would like a goat over a scavenger.” Please don’t eat the scavenger. I really like the little ones. Maybe I can take it to that big den? Is there a closer one than that one? She seemed to take a step back before shaking her head. Shit, does she not like goats? Everyone likes goats… Well, RainWings don’t. Do NightWings?

“I-I’m not-” She started to say, but a voice behind me and to the left cut her off.

“Hand over my Scavenger NightWing! Back up SkyWing!” I looked over and saw an IceWing strutting over with a glare that could freeze. He was the typical white and blue color of IceWings. Well, I think typical, I have never seen an IceWing before this place. And his scavenger?

“If you don’t, I will freeze your horns, then break them. Then your claws, then your wings, do I need to continue?” My eyes focused on him. Seriously? Are you threatening her now? She’s practically shivering in fear already.

“Hey, lay off. Why do you want it anyway?” I sternly asked, making him glare at me instead of her. The rest of the dragons are forming a circle around us. Mutters of fighting spread through it.

“Because it’s my scavenger. My idiot clawmate let it out.” He growled out. His?... Is he keeping one as a pet? Are pets even allowed?

“Now I got two ice-brained dragons that I will freeze if they don’t give it back.” He growled out again. Which I growled back. He’s now threatening me? I opened my mouth to speak, but was cut off as a SandWing barge in between the IceWing and me.

“Hey, may we not freeze people?” The tan SandWing said to the IceWing before turning to us. Now I could see a large zig zag scar on his snout that gave him a bit of a rough look on his cute face.

“Sorry, I'm the ‘idiot clawmate’. But I mostly go by Qibli by most. That's Winter, nephew of Queen Glacier. If he hasn’t told you already, he would have. I had wanted a closer look at it and opened the gate, and before I could blink, it was halfway down the hallway. Now, may you not eat it?” Oh, that explains why a scavenger was running about for no reason. But seriously, now there's three of us trying not to eat it.

“I wasn’t, I was trying to stop her from eating it.” Winter looked generally surprised. Qibli also, but he hid it better. I turned towards the NightWing. Who seemed to be shrinking down on herself. Oh, I feel a bit bad. But I need to save this scavenger.

“If you don’t want a goat, I could get you something else?” I lowered myself slightly to be less threatening. She’s scared. Appeal to her. At the corner of my vision, I saw Qibli step forward beside me.

“Yes. Whatever you want, we can get it. Just please give us the scavenger.” He added on.

“Give it back now or I'll freeze your tail!” Three moons… I glanced at Winter who now stood beside Qibli. I was trying to be less threatening! You two are making us more threatening by having us be beside each other!

“You really don’t understand asking nicely, huh?” The SandWing spoke with a tilt of his head. The IceWing glaring at him.

“I-I wasn’t… No one should…” You got to be kidding me. This whole thing and none of us wants to eat it?

“That’s… exactly how I feel…” I glanced at Winter. His voice had lost its threatening tone. I didn’t expect that from the many threats he was sending.

“Oh! That’s weird. But it seems like we're on the same scroll here. Now, may you?...” Qibli spoke before quietening as we looked at the NightWing. She looked nervous, glancing between the three of us. It looked like she was about to give it… Only to bring it back as she jumped as a small yellow dragon appeared. Of course…

“Hey! I saw you brought a pet!” She loudly announced. Who is this SandWing?... She doesn't have a barb? What? Wait, why is the NightWing giving me a weird look?

“I have. If that’s a problem, I will take him and leave.” I turned my head away from the NightWing to Winter. Who had his head held high as he stared down the weird SandWing. I furrowed my eyes. Would he actually? Does he care that much? That doesn't sound like an IceWIng…Then again, I had never seen one before. The bright yellow dragon stood her ground and smiled up at him.

“Oh, it’s ok. We can add a no eating scavenger rule for you. It matters more if your clawmates will care about it.” She said before glancing at Qibli, who chuckled.

“The scavenger I’m fine with. The owner though? I might be allergic.” He chuckled before yelping as a white tail smacked him in a hind leg, making him almost fall but barely catching himself. Winter glared at the SandWing who laughed it off. A sigh and a glare from the other SandWing made him frown for a second.

“Qibli… Don’t cause trouble.” She spoke sternly again. Which made Qibli smile nervously.

“I won’t Sunny. Just joking.” He smiled more happily at her which she smiled back at. So that’s her name?... Where have I heard that name? She then turned towards me. Oh!

“And your… Flamethrower, right?” Oh, she actually knows my name? Now I feel bad that I didn’t know hers. But I hid it through a nod.

“Yes?” I said questionaly. What did she need me for?

“Oh! So you're the SkyWing of our Winglet.” I turned my head to Qibli. Huh?...I suddenly perked up.

“Oh yeah, I remember your names being on the list now.” Yeah, Qibli and Winter. How did I just realize that now?

“Hey! What are you doing with my scavenger!” A sudden shout from Winter made me look at him before turning to the NightWing. She had backed up a step and seemed to be looking at the scavenger she had. The pink and yellow RainWing was also with her with a talon full of fruit. The scavenger was devouring a blueberry while in her talon. But both of them looked over at Winter’s yell. The NightWing shrinking slightly at his gaze. The Rainwing was undeterred though as she took a step forward towards the IceWing.

“Feeding it, duh! Someone has to since you're starving it!” She exclaimed loudly. Glaring at Winter as he scoffed as if he was slapped. Qibli seemed amused. Sunny looked like she was ready to split the two, glancing at both of them.

“I am not! I tried feeding it some walrus meat and a rat, but it never ate it. And it drinks water. So I figured they eat rather infrequently.” Oh. Did he give it raw? No wonder the scavenger won’t eat it. How long has Winter had it? It must be starving. Now that I look at it, it does look rough.

“M-Maybe you should…” The NightWIng mumbled out before stopping. The glare of the IceWing looking at her.

“I should do what?!” He yelled at her. I took a step towards the NightWing while Sunny walked between the two, glaring at the IceWing.

“Winter. Be nice.” Winter scoffed before looking away. Sunny turned her head to look at the NightWing with a smile.

“Now…” She stopped and seemed to be thinking.

“Moon…” The NightWing spoke softly, Sunny perking up. But before she can say anything, a scoff came from Winter. Is that an IceWing thing or a Winter thing?

“Moon what?... I know how you and your tribe are with your names.” Winter growled out at first, but looked off at the side at everyone’s glare. He then spoke quieter, but still aggressively. I had never seen a NightWing before so I had no idea what he meant.

“Her name is Moonwatcher!” The yellow and pink Rainwing answered. Winter blinked before actually un-tencing. His face scrunched into confusion.

“Oh…” Is there something wrong with her name? I think it sounds really beautiful. I then notice the very, VERY faint hint of blue on his snout. What? I blinked and it was gone. Three moons, I need to get my mind out of the canopy. I turned to Moonwatcher and saw her looking at me, only to grow wide eyed as we made eye contact and looked away. What the?

“And I'm Kinkajou!” Pink and yellow RainWing exclaimed loudly. So that's her name… heh, kink. Heh.

“Well, now that we all have introduced ourselves!” Sunny exclaimed loudly. A hint of annoyance filled her voice, but she hid it well. She then turned towards Moon.

“What were you going to say before?” She asked. Oh right, feeding the scavenger. Moon glanced between all of us, her gaze lingering on Winter and mine the longest.

“Um… Maybe you should cook its food?” She quietly said, Winter staring her down. A bit of frost came from his nose as he snorted. At least it wasn't a scoff.

“Cook it? Why would I ever do that?” He scoffed out. Which made me huff, ripping his gaze towards me with a glare.

“What is it SkyWing?” Really? I get demoted to just SkyWing? I rolled my eyes.

“She’s correct. There’s this massive scavenger den-” Winter’s ears pointed straight up as he suddenly looked a lot more interested.

“- north of here. I pass it a lot, and I always see them cooking prey over fires.” I explained as Winter’s face scrunched up. I didn’t include the fact that I managed to get a group of scavengers to give me part of their prey that one time.

“This is great! Dragons helping each other!” I glanced at Sunny who was smiling cheerfully. A chuckle from Qibli brought my gaze to him. Who had moved closer to the IceWing and leaned in close.

“And you have me if you need to cook it’s food.” He then blew a small flame near Winter’s face, making the IceWing step back and growl at the grinning SandWing.

“I will never ask you for help.” He growled out. Sunny moved closer to two. Seemingly ready to split two up.

“H-hey.” A quiet voice made me look away from the glaring IceWing and teasing SandWing. My gaze is now looking down to Moon. Kinkajou behind her. I lowered my head to her eye height.

“Yeah? Do you need something?” I quietly asked, as to not alert the three. She nodded her head and raised the scavenger up in her talon. From here, I could closely see it as it leaned away from me, holding a half eaten grape in its paws. I noticed it had short hair. So it’s a male. Good to know. He also looked terrible. Barely any meat on him. How long has he not eaten? A day? Two? I looked back to Moon.

“Can you take him? I…need to go.” That ain’t suspicious, but I shook away that thought. She is probably just scared of Winter or something. He has been a bit of an asshole. I nodded my head and she let out a breath. I put down the goat that I forgot I had and grabbed the scavenger as she dropped him into my talon. She then quietly thanked me before running off. Kinkajou looked from where Moon went to Winter then back then to me then back. After a few seconds of this she finally ran off after the NightWing. That got the other three’s attention.

“Hey! That damn thieving NightWing took my-” I coughed, making him look at me. Realization spread through his face.

“Oh…” Qibli then teased him, which he then threatened the SandWing. He then looked at me before demanding his scavenger, which I gave. He complained of him being sticky and dipped the scavenger into the river. I grimaced as the little one shivered. Sunny then asked if we were willing to switch Winglets, saying it would be good to have multiple dragons that know something work together. I didn’t care obviously, so did Qibli. Winter opposed it at first, but relented when Sunny said that they would be in a room of two instead of three. Apparently they were in one with a RainWing at the moment. Winter then ascused himself before leaving. Sunny leaves after. Which left just me and Qibli and me in a diminishing Prey Center. Most having left after the incident calmed down.

“Hey, want to split that?” I turned to Qibli before looking where he pointed at. The goat from before is still there. It hasn't moved. What is wrong with it? I shook my head before looking back at Qibli.

“Sure.”

Part 2: Winglet Time

I went back to my room after finishing the goat plus a chicken I caught. Plus, after talking with the SandWing. Qibli was talkative, which I didn't mind. It allowed us to talk easily. He seemed smart. Plus… he was kinda cute… I ignored that thought though and focused on other things. Like informing Newt that tomorrow he will have a new clawmate.

“So there’s gonna be a new SkyWing in here tonight?” The green MudWing asked, his head twisting a bit. I shake my head.

“Nah, Sunny said I’m switching rooms tomorrow. So you have to deal with me for tonight.” I grin at him.

“You're trying to get rid of me already?” I cheekily ask, which he rolled his eyes at. He shook his head with a light huff.

“No, I’m just wondering…Do you know who they are?” He asked, making me hum. Well, I'm guessing since I'm moving, they put me, Qibli, and Winter into Moon’s Winglet. What winglet was she in?...Oh yeah! Jade! That's Carnileian’s.

“Yeah, I know her. She flew with me here. Carnelian is her name.” I then grinned.

“Which means you will be sleeping by yourself with a female.” I suddenly teased, making him look at me in confusion.

“What are-” He stopped as he saw me wiggling my eyeridges and giving him a smirk. His face suddenly darkened in color as he choked. His voice sputtered in and out as he tried to speak, and I laughed. I only stopped as a certain IceWing yelled ‘Shut up, SkyWing!’ from the room across from us. I almost laughed again at his pouting face, but managed to control it. I chuckled while I waved my talon at him.

“Just kidding. Just kidding. She gives me ‘same tribe only’ vibes anyway.” I spoke and he huffed. We then kept talking for a bit. Literally the most random things. Apparently, alligators are actually rarely eaten in the mud queendom because they look too much like dragons. Which definitely breaks the stereotype of MudWings eating everything. Also, SkyWings burning their dead is weird to all the other tribes? I never knew that. I knew RainWings cover up their dead with leaves and vines before burying them. But I didn't know every other tribe also buries their dead. It was nice to see what another tribe does with different things compared to mine. And soon, night time started to hit. The sun didn't show as it was on the other side of the mountain from me. But it was still easy to tell it was by the other dragons arriving into their rooms. Winter and Newt were in their rooms before me but a RainWing - Siamong? - and a SeaWing - Barracuda? - walked past as the MudWing and me talked. I could definitely tell the RainWing were Winter’s clawmate, as I could practically hear his annoyment in the room opposite ours. Then just before I decided to sleep, I saw Qibli walk into his room. He gave me a big grin, which I gave back, before heading in. As my eyes closed and curled up, my large wings covering me, my thoughts changed to tomorrow. And sleep soon took me. I never saw the NightWing of this Winglet.

The sun blaring through the window and straight through my eyelids and into my eyeballs woke me up. And I welcomed it. My room at my home town had that happen every time, but when me and dad moved, it didn't. I missed the sun trying to blind me in my sleep. But something was different. Fur was still there. Sun in my eyes. A light breeze through the window. Snores from one of the rooms… Oh, there is someone beside me… There is what?

I opened my eyes and found my eyes gazing at the wall. I turned my head and raised my wing and looked under it. Nestled under and pressed against my side was a certain green MudWing. With my wing up now, the sun now glared at him too. And with a yawn, and fluttering eyes, Newt raised his head. He didn’t seem to notice me at first, leaning into me more. Then his face contorted as he became confused, and that's when his eyes met mine. Both our heads seem to sputter and misfire like a hatchling trying to learn to breathe fire. It took what I think was 10 seconds for me to come back.

“Um…hello?” That triggered him back to reality and he yelped, falling back off my bed with a thud. His wings flayed and his legs tried to turn him off his back. He looked like a stuck turtle. I put a talon on my mouth and tried to hold back my laugh. But that failed as I saw his flustered look he had on when he was standing again. I laid the top of my head against the fur on my bed as I desperately tried to stop laughing.

It took a bit but I eventually did, and I looked up at him. He also seemed recovered as he wasn't trying to stutter out a response. But instead had a flustered pout on his face. I smiled at him; which only deepened his scales more.

“If you wanted to cuddle, you could have just asked.” I teased. Which he huffed at and looked away.

“That's… I sleepwalk.” What? Sleepwalk? What’s that? I twisted my head in my confusion, and he caught it.

“Basicully, when I sleep, I will suddenly stand up and start moving.” That can happen??? He kept going.

“My sibs would pile around me and cover me and it had stopped… I guess my body on instinct tried to be under the nearest dragon…” Oh, I guess that made sense. I also ignored how that last bit can be taken out of context.

“Well, ok then. I guess that makes sense…” He seemed to sigh in relief.

“But you probably should tell Sunny or the other teachers about it. I don’t think Carnelian will be as open to it as I am.” His ears then fell as he groaned. I shook my head while chuckling. Then I realized something.

“Hey, do you know what we're doing today?” I asked, and he perked up. I understand yesterday being a bit more of a free day, but today? We were never given schedules.

“Oh! The entrance hall had a stone that said today we would be meeting everyone in our winglet with a teacher.” Oh, yeah, that makes sense to have that as a first class. Maybe then we would have our schedules?

“Did it say where?” I asked and he opened his mouth…before scrunching his face and closing his mouth. You got to be kidding me.

“It didn’t say?” He hesitated before nodding his head, and I huffed. Did they really expect us to wander until we found the class?

“Did it say anything?” I asked now. And he seemed to think for a second. Then his expression turned brighter.

“Oh yeah, it said which teachers are gonna be in which. Ours is gonna be Clay.” Oh, so we got to search for the class with a teacher. That solves all the problems. I rolled my eyes.

“What about Jade Winglet?” I asked, and he seemed confused.

“Why would you- oh, right. You're moving Winglets.” He realized mid way though as he realized.

“I think its…Tsunami?” …Who the fuck is she? Definitely a SeaWing with that name… Her name does actually sound familiar… I really need to research more about certain dragons. They must be important, right?

“Well then…Want to wander aimlessly until we find the rooms with me?” I joked and he let out a snort. The flusteredness is long gone now.

“Might as well. I'd rather not do it alone, that’s not a MudWing thing to do.” …was that a joke? I laughed. I didn't expect that. I shook my head before slipping out of my bed.

“Would that make me a MudWing then?” I joked as I walked to the scroll rack, grabbing the main one with the map and my carrier. Putting it on, I looked back at him.

“If you were one, you would most definitely be a BigWings.” He reached for his stuff too and put his carrier on also. I twisted my head. BigWings?

“BigWings?” I asked. I started walking out, Newt walking beside me. I glanced into the opposite room and saw Qibli, Winter, and Siamong. The two seemed to awake while the rainwing was asleep in his hammock. Winter writes on a scroll while Qibli is talking to him. But when the SandWing saw him, he waved. And I waved back. Winter looked over and scowled before looking at his scavenger. Then I couldn't see into the room anymore.

“BigWings are the first hatched of a sib group. They are the leaders and tend to be the biggest. They also help the others get out of their eggs.” Oh, now I remember them. I heard of them, just needed to be reminded. I turned my head around into the next room as we walked past it. The one on our side had a NightWing laying in a bed, staring at the wall. But no SeaWing. Had he left already?

“Oh, so you think I am one?” I asked as we passed the room. Newt nodded his head.

“Yeah. You're big. And you seem very easy to talk to. And you're commanding, but in a nice way. So yeah. You give me BigWing vibes.” I snorted.

“I’m not that big.” I spoke. Like, yeah, I know I am pretty big but there has to be plenty of dragons bigger than me…Right? A snort made me unsure. Another MudWing walked past us, seemingly also looking around for their class. He had brown scales with an almost yellow underbelly and wings. I don't think this was Newt’s sister. (Obviously) So he must be in a different sib group. Are there others of his sibs or just him?

“Thrower. You're literally the third biggest dragon in this mountain.” He spoke with a disbelieving voice. As if he can’t believe that I think I’m small. I looked at him with a raised eye ridge. Also, Thrower? I already have a nickname?

“Who’s the two?” I ask.

“Well…One is a maybe, we would have to have you two side by side but Clay might be bigger. And some SandWing. Not a hundred percent sure her name but she is MASSIVE. Like, there's no way she is a dragonet.” Clay? He’s one of the teachers, I'm pretty sure. MudWing by the name. And some maybe/maybe not dragonet SandWing? Ain’t Qibli and Sunny. And I didn't see them in the prey center yesterday.

“I’m sure they're not-” I spoke but stopped as we passed the entrance of a large room. Opposite of the wall was green Seawing with a bit of blue on his neck. There was also a Rainwing and SkyWing. The red and almost black scaled SkyWing was in the corner, seemingly glaring at everyone. The rainwing had her back to me but she seemed to be blue and gold. But what really caught my attention was the SandWing. I hate to actually look up on her tan and brown body. She WAS massive. We then passed the room and I leaned down to Newt.

“Yeah, she is NOT a dragonet. She looked twenty.” I whisper-yelled at him. How was she allowed in???

“Yeah, why did they allow her in? Ain't this for dragonets?” Yeah, there is no reason she should be in school…then again.

“I mean… it’s an acedemy… So technically they can allow any age…” I tried to reason, but it was weak.

“But a twenty year old with six years olds?” He said and I sighed. Yeah, she should not be here. We kept walking for a bit before we looked inside another room. Inside were two dragons. A large MudWing that rivaled my size. His scales were an orange like color and a dark brown. The smaller dragonet he was talking to was a teal or turquoise color SeaWing. I recognized him as Barracuda. The MudWing then saw us before perking.

“Hey…uh…” We stopped. He seemed to look down slightly and scrunched his face for a few seconds before looking back up at us.

“Newt?” He asked and Newt nodded his head. Partly walking in.

“Yep.” He then turned towards me.

“See yah later Thrower.” He smiled and waved before heading in. I said bye before heading away, but stopped. Wait a second. I turned back to the room. What was his name…

“Clay?” The large MudWing looked up from Newt and at me.

“Yeah? Do you need something?” He asked and I nodded.

“Do you know where Tsunami is?” I ask.

“Oh, yeah, just keep going before turning right on the next fork, then a left, and the room will be on the right if you go down farther. It's a room with an entrance to the outside.” I nodded at his words.

“Thanks.” I said and he said ‘welcome' back. I then turned back into the hallway and headed away. Ok, time to meet my Winglet. Er, two, I already know the other four.

Part 3: Winglet Time Part 2

I continued to walk through the halls, following Clay’s direction. A right, a left, keep going…And I looked into a room on the right and saw three dragons. A large Seawing slightly smaller than me near the back on a raised platform. She was a light blue throughout most of her body. The other two I recognized as Kinkajou and Moonwatcher. I didn’t even take a step in before the NightWing looked at me. Wow, she is really observant. I stepped into the room which caused the other two to look. Kinkajou seems to perk up and grin at me. Tsunami(?) seemed to appraise me then grinned. Moon though, seems to gasp silently, as if surprised. Did they not tell them? Seriously? This school has a lot of problems in it.

“And since we saw you all had something in common, we decided to move dragons around and you will be having three new clawmates in your winglets. Like Flamethrower here.” Yeah, tell them now. Good job. I glanced at Moon, and she seemed nervous. Looking away from me. Kinkajou seems to notice before smiling at the NightWing. I walked to the left of them, near the entrance of the room. I also just noticed there was a waterfall in one corner of the room. That’s cool.

“No I don’t!” A sudden loud whisper made me and Tsunami look at the two. Moon caved into herself and didn’t make eye contact.

“Sorry.” She quietly said. And before anyone else can say anything, two more dragons entered. A SeaWing and a MudWing. The two I don’t know. The MudWing had dark brown scales on his back with almost red scales on his sides, a light tan for his wings and underbelly scales. He was small, maybe slightly smaller than Qibli and Moon and a bit bigger than Kinkajou.

“Turtle! I had asked for your Winglet.” Tsunami yelled out, and the green SeaWing walked up to her. He was about Moon’s size, maybe a tad smaller or bigger. I can’t tell. He was also… pretty chubby. Not in a rude way, obviously. Just pointing it out. I’m sure that's just how he is. A big ball of SeaWing.

“Hey Tsunami.” He spoke a lot quieter than Tsunami, who wrapped a wing around him. She then looked at us four.

“This is Turtle, my brother. Apparently I have thirty two brothers, but I’m guessing he’s the best one since he’s here.” She said actually quite proudly. And wow, thirty two???? Three moons, their parents were going at it.

“It’s true. I am.” Turtle said before pointing at the MudWing.

“That’s Umber. He’s my Clawmate.” So that’s his name. Tsunami then pulled away.

“Your Clay’s brother!” Kinkajou yelled and the MudWing nodded. We got two brothers of teachers in this Winglet? What’s next? Qibli is Sunny’s brother? Moon is Starflight’s sister?

“Anyway, hopefully the other two find where we are. We should be starting soon.” Tsunami looked outside to check the time and I rolled my eyes.

“Maybe you should have given directions to classes instead of just saying who is leading the class.” I raised a ridge as I spoke. She looked at me and opened her mouth before closing it for a few seconds… She then pointed at me.

“Shut up.” She then looked away as my head reared back a few inches. Ok?? What the blaze… That was when the last two dragons entered. Both walking beside each other, and both looking at the NightWing. What is with that? A clap made me look back at Tsunami, who was sitting down with her forelegs up and her wings helping her keep balance.

“Ok! That's everyone! Time to start! I’m Tsunami! Or Princess Tsunami if you want to get formal, but if you do, I will punch you.” …This school is so weird.

“Anyway, I was wanting an Accrument Leader position. But everyone agreed I would be bad at that, I don't know why though.” I rolled my eyes at her. Yeah, I wonder why.

“But now I’m Head of School. So if you need anything, just come to me. Or not, I prefer that.” A scoff brought everyone’s gaze to Winter.

“So that means you're the one I ask for a room by myself, or at least one with my fellow Icewings? Like my sister?” The IceWing seemed to almost growl out as he stared at Tsunami. I noticed Tsunami curl one of her talons as she smiled down on him.

“I would be, and the answer is no.” She smiled more real like at his scoff. Is she enjoying this?...Is she a sadist?? Please tell me the rest of the teachers aren't as bad.

“Any more questions?” I raise my talon up a bit. I did.

“Yeah, when are-” I started to say, but Tsunami glared at me and pointed at me again.

“I told you to shut up, squidbrain.” I shook my head in confusion. What in the blaze??? Why am I getting bullied by a teacher? What did it do to her?

“Anyone got any other questions?” She asked - which almost sounded like a threat - everyone. Silence…then-

“When are we going to eat?... Just kidding, pretending to be Clay.” The MudWing said while looking at Qibli. I give him credit, he’s either very unobservant or brave as moons. Luckily, for him, Tsunami only snorted.

“Well, luckily I did bring food.” She then reached over for a large bowl that I didn't notice and pulled the lid off it. Inside was a bunch of fish. Fish? I never had fish before…

“Eww, I'd rather not. I’ll wait to eat some delicious and more tasty fruit.” Kinkajou said in disgust. She really hates eating prey, huh. Sparkle never cared that much but he didn’t show his disgust this much. Turtle took one and so did Umber. Moon and Winter also went to grab one but the NightWing stopped as they both reached at the same time. I couldn't quite see what their expressions were as Winter had his back to me and was partially blocking Moon’s face. But he seemed to freeze before grabbing a fish and moving away. That's when I stepped up and grabbed a fish, handing one to her. That seemed to knock her back in as she caved back into herself, but she did cautiously grab the fish.

“Thank you…” She said so quietly I barely heard. But I nodded at her with a big smile, which she looked away from. I then grabbed another fish before moving back to my spot, noticeably closer to the NightWing though. I raised the fish at eye level and looked at it. It was silver with bits of pink and blue in it. And it seemed to shine if I turned into it. It can’t be that bad, right? I opened my mouth before tossing it in. I chewed it slightly, then stopped. Oh no… it’s terrible. It was bitter. Why is fish bitter?? Shouldn’t it be salty? Or is that ocean fish? Is this a river fish? I saw the green SkyWing raise an eye ridge at me. I must be making a face. I quickly swallow it and try to hold back a gag. I am never eating fish again. I managed to get control of my face again as Tsunami clapped again.

“Well, it’s time for introductions. Glory’s idea. I already have introduced myself sooo…” She looked around before immediately pointing at me.

“You go first!” Oh, now she wants me to speak. Amazing.

“I’m Flamethrower.” I said to everyone. Though, only two of them actually didn’t know. I sat there in silence while Tsunami raised her eye ridge. What?

“Anything else? Goals? Family? Favorite color?” Ooooohh, it's an introduction introduction. Not just a name introduction.

“Um, most of my family actually lives near here. Near Agate mountain. I had never been to the palace until like a little over a year ago. My favorite color is orange… And my goal is to find Flame and throw him. It’s my destiny.” A couple chuckles from the group.

“I also want to know more about the other tribes. I know practically nothing about them.” I finished as I looked around at the others. Which one would go now?

“What is the jewelry you have on?” I look over to Qibli. And he pointed at an earring he was wearing.

“I have mine, but I was wondering about yours. They don't really match each other.” He continued. Oh, I didn’t realize someone would be interested in them. Did he mean all of them? He had to, because he wasn't specific. I then pointed to my right earring. It was a little wooden dragon head with fire coming out of its mouth. It was also painted and attached to a small chain which was attached to my ear.

“Well, this one was made by Parrot. He is a two year old in my town.” A snicker from the RainWing alerted me that they understood what it meant. I then pointed to my horn band on my right horn. It was rose gold with gold circles and diamonds in them.

“This one was my grandmother's, but it doesn't fit her anymore and it definitely doesn't fit my mom, so they gave me it. It is a bit more for ‘nesses but I don’t mind.” More snickers, most likely for other reasons. I then turned my head so they could see the other side of my head and pointed at my left earring. It was a gold wire that attached the top part of my ear to the bottom. It had small jewels in shapes of fruit intermittently on the wire.

“This one was made by Sparkle, Parrot’s father.” I then pointed at the leg band on my right leg.

“Did you just say Sparkle?” I looked up towards Winter who looked otherly confused.

“Yeah, he is a jeweler. What’s wrong with his name?” I twisted my head. Yeah, I know his name is a bit funny, but it's his name. And your name is literally Winter.

“It doesn’t sound like a SkyWing…It sounds like a RainWing name.”

“Ok! This ain’t what we're supposed to be talking about! We're trying to introduce ourselves!” Tsunami cut in and yelled. Thank the moons. I could hear a growl from Winter. She then pointed at Kinkajou.

“You! Introduction!” She yelled. Kinkajou was practically hopping.

“Yay! I’m Kinkajou! A Rainwing! I have never met any IceWings, or SeaWings, or SandWings before! Well, except for the Dragonets of Destiny, I’m best friends with them. I want to learn how to write and I want to know everything about your tribes and I think this school is the best idea ever! And my favorite color is yellow!” She practically squealed out, hopping like a hare. And blazing, I was betting on pink. I could practically hear the annoyance from Winter. The RainWing then nudged Moon.

“Your turn!” She seemed to shrink into herself even more. She really doesn't like other dragons that much, huh? At least Kinkajou seems to be nice to her, maybe the RainWing will drag her out of her shell… heh, shell. Turtle. Heh.

“Um, I’m Moonwatcher…but please call me Moon…I grew up in the rainforest…and I like scrolls.” Rainforest? Is that where NightWings live? No, Sparkle would have said if they did. Did her parents live there like Sparkle in my town?

“I like scrolls too.” I looked over to Turtle.

“Well, ones not made by my mother. I have already read those too many times… And my name is Turtle.” Mother? Tsunami said she was a princess and their siblings… So he is a Prince? That means we have two princes in this winglet. Wow, there are a lot of important people in this one. Now I feel a little underwhelmed compared to them. Maybe Qibli ain’t that important? Please, me and Moon can't be the only normal ones.

“I’m Qibli. I was one of Queen Thorn’s Outclaws before she became queen. My plan is to learn as fast as possible so I can go back and protect her.” NOOOOOO! Why! I was hoping for you, Qibli! You betrayed me! Three moons… Moon and I are in a Winglet full of important people. Two are princes, one being related to a teacher. Another also related to a teacher. Kinkajou knows the Dragonets of Destiny. Now I just realized it must be the teachers… Why did I just realize this?... Plus one is a main guard(?) of a queen. Looks like it's just you and me Moon.

“I’m sure she is lost without you.” Winter spoke. Didn’t have to be rude IceWing.

“I’m sure you're important to your Queen.” Nevermind. Winter flinched before glaring at the SandWing.

“And I’m Umber. Clay’s brother… Reed, our BigWings, sent Sora, Marsh, and me here to help learn now that the war is over…And I like the color yellow also.” The last bit he said while looking at Kinkajou, but he glanced at Qibli a bunch. Ok, I must not be the only one thinking the SandWing is cute. I’m not the weird one then.

“I’m Winter.” The final one to talk starts.

“Queen Glacier's nephew.” Both Qibli and Winter speak at the same time. And the IceWing growled before glaring at the SandWing. Qibli smiling big at the IceWing. Those two are gonna fight sooner or later, aren’t they?

“Don’t mock me.” Winter growled out.

“I wouldn’t dream of it.” Qibli smirkingly said. Winter glared before turning to Tsunami, who looked like she was about to sigh again.

“May I please have a different Clawmate if I have to have one?” He asked. It looked like Tsunami was about to say no, but then realized. I didn’t even think of that.

“I mean… If you get everyone in agreement, yeah. You can have someone switch. But-” Tsunami began to speak, but was cut off as Winter pointed at Turtle.

“Good. I want the SeaWing Prince.” Turtle seemed to stutter at the IceWings words.

“I want to trade sandsnorter for him.” Winter continued while Tsunami sighed.

“YES!” We all stared at the MudWing who’s face looked so dark it was almost black.

“I-i mean…if Turtle wants to…” The MudWing then proceeded to give the SeaWing the biggest hatchling eyes I have ever seen. I wanted to do what he wanted and it wasn’t even directed at me. Turtle broke immediately.

“...Fine.” He spoke, making the MudWing jump and hug him. The SeaWing yelping. Tsunami was currently on her sixth sigh in a minute. She then looked at Qibli with a deadpan expression. Who shrugged his shoulders before he spoke.

“It’s three to one, they win.” Winter spun his head and looked at the SandWing as if he suddenly grew an extra head.

“Wha-” He started to say.

“What was that? I think Flamethrower said we should go hunt! That’s a good idea! Let’s go!” Tsunami practically threw herself outside after speaking. We all stood there as we recovered before everyone looked at me. I then raised one of my talons.

“I didn’t say anything! She is just bullying me! And Winter was the one that ran her off.” I defended myself before pointing at Winter, who scoffed.

“Your princely charm at work my majesty-” Qibli spoke before being smacked in the back of the head by a white tail.

“Shut up sandsnorter.” Winter growled before walking to the edge and gracefully took flight. And we sat there in silence for a few seconds…

“We probably should follow them.” Turtle said which was followed by a sequence of ‘yeahs’ and ‘yeps.
